Meeting In Secret
"This place is beautiful, Achim." Layla said.
"Thank you, Layla," Achim said. "by the way... I know that Rashid is actually Hideaki Reed... do you think I'm insane?"
"Yes, I think you're insane!" Layla responded.
"What?" Achim exclaimed in shock.
"Just kidding," Layla chuckled. "I know that, too."
"I thought it was just me, then." Achim said, relieved.
"It's an interesting situation to say the least," Layla admitted. "we'll just play it by ear."
"Sounds good." Achim agreed.
"I sure would like to grab that Naomi Collins by the ear! I don't think she is actually sweet on you at all." Layla said to Achim.
"Come on," Achim said to Layla. "we had best be getting back to the throne room."
When they got back to the throne room, Layla and Achim could see that their families were nowhere to be found.
"Where did everyone go?" Layla asked.
"They must be in the banquet hall eating supper," Achim answered Layla. "come on."
When they finally reached the banquet hall, Layla and Achim looked up to see the displeased looks on the faces of their mothers.
"Children, you are late." Astrid observed.
"Sorry, ma'am." Layla apoligized on behalf of herself and Achim.
"The two of you should be lucky Baileywick isn't around," Sofia cautioned. "he would have given you a firm lecture."
"Baileywick?" Achim asked.
"The royal steward at Enchancia Castle when I was a child." Sofia answered.
"Take your seats, children," Astrid directed. "we've been holding dinner for you."
Layla and Achim sat down at their places as Hildeguard came in from putting Elsa to bed after nursing her.
The Queen of Freezenburg noticed Rashid's milk glass was empty.
"May I have some more milk please, Queen Hildegard?" Rashid asked.
"I've got a better idea," Hildegard said to Rashid. "how about some water instead?"
"Okay." Rashid said.
Hildegard left to get some water for Rashid.
While Hildegard was out, Derek turned to Rashid.
"Would you like seconds on anything?" the Freezenburg King asked.
"Yes, please! Thank you, Sir!" Rashid exclaimed.
When the Queen of Freezenburg came back from the water pump, she found Rashid with his third plate full of food.
"Wow! Rashid," Hildegard exclaimed. "where do you put it all?"
"I can't help it! I'm just a growing boy!" Rashid protested.
"Well, there's growing up, and then, there's growing out," Hildegard lectured Rashid. "and, if you continue to eat like that, you will most likely be growing out, in other words, you will be getting fatter!"
Layla looked at Hildegard, "My brother can't help it, and you wouldn't even believe me if I told you the honest truth!" she exclaimed.
Rashid felt a strange sensation surging through his mind.
"Rashid," the voice said. "hey! Rashid!"
Rashid closed his eyes, "Who are you?" he asked.
