Rewriting: App Monsters: Drive Season 01 Episode 04
Gatchmon was watching something on TV with Haru when a show came on where a guy dumped out the contents of an idol's bag and they'd seen an App Drive with a blue sliding wheel and were caught by surprise. The Host of the show introduced a pink haired girl who picked up the App Drive and introduced her as Eri Karan.
We then cut to the two walking with Gatchmon reading information off the net about Idols and what they do as Haru looked at his phone questioning "So we're just gonna walk in and meet this Idol Eri?"
"Ya, if she's got an App Drive then that means it's possible she'll be on our side." Gatchmon stated to them as they were continuing down the street. "I bet this Eri girl was like you and got the App Drive out of nowhere, found her Buddy Appmon and became an App Driver just like you."
"Well, we'll find out soon." Haru spoke about it while making a call on his phone which Gatchmon looked confused by. "Hey Uncle Thomas, I need a favor related to the Appmon stuff can you help me out for a bit please?"
Cutting to later Haru had been able to walk into the television station and he'd shown the front desk his ID who'd looked up the information and given him a visitors pass allowing him to walk past the security guard without them attempting to stop him. Gatchmon had seemed impressed by this as they'd gone and found the dressing room with that Eri girl's name on it before knocking.
"Come in." The voice of the girl called out letting them know it was safe to go on into her changing room now. Once given the okay to do so Haru then walked into the room "So were you drawn to the great Eri's brilliance and that's why you wanted to come see me?"
"Actually it's because I saw you had an App Drive." Haru answered back which caught the girl off guard to hear that he knew about that.
"You know about the App Drive?" The girl, Eri, questioned surprised to hear that the guy in front of her knew about that.
"Ya, actually I've got one of my own." Haru then explained to her as he'd held up his own App Drive to show her that he'd had one of his own.
"Wait, really? Someone beisdes me has an App Drive? This is so cool. Thanks for coming to meet me. I heard someone was being sent by one of the investors Thomas Norstein and wondered if they were super cool like he is." Eri stated glad to see them and mentioned how Haru got in so easily.
"Er, you mean Thomas Damon. He's actually my uncle." Haru answered back correcting what Eri had said about Thomas. "He stopped using the Norstein name after he got married to Uncle Marcus. But ya, this is my Buddy Gatchmon." He'd then spoke introducing Gatchmon who was in his tiny form riding on his chip.
"Nice to meet you I'm Gatchmon." Haru's Appmon Buddy introduced himself to them saying hello holding up his clawed hand. "So who's your Appmon Buddy?"
"Well, he's kinda loud so I don't let him out when at the studio usually, but.." Eri spoke taking a chip out of her bag and setting it onto the table.
The Chip began glowing and an Appmon with metal fists that was blue in color appeared yelling "A GREAT MORNING TO YOU!" at the top of his lungs making the three others cover their ears. "Eri it's the first time you let me out in so long! I'm so happy I'm floating on air!"
"Okay, I see what you mean." Gatchmon sighed about how this new Appmon was currently acting around them. "I'm Gatchmon the Search Appmon so who are you?"
"I'm Dokamon." Eri's Appmon Buddy explained to them introducing himself. "I'm an action game Appmon."
They'd heard someone scream and went to check it out seeing an Appmon that looked like a raggedy ann doll crossed with a cowgirl messing with stuff around a room with some of the people in the dressing room wearing honestly stupid looking alterations to their normal looks.
"Haru let's go after her." Gatchmon called as they were starting to get away and he'd nodded running to chase after them.
"Hey Eri, Dokamon, c'mon. If we don't stop her then she'll screw things up for everyone else too." Haru called back to the two of them and they'd followed after him and Gatchmon. They'd chased the Appmon to an openinging in the AR Field with Haru then stating "Let's take her down together, AR Field Open!" He'd called holding up his App Drive making it change everything around them now looking like a place you'd get clothes tailor maed for you including a giant oversized sewing machine.
"What is this place?" Eri questioned looking around finding it all so weird to be in the AR Field as she'd seemed to have never done it before.
"Attention fashionistas, the Tokyo Dressmon Collection is about to be unveiled." The Appmon calling herself Dressmon called to get their attention and began using a needle to change Eri's outfit but when she tried the same on Haru he'd punched her in the face knocking her back with a green and black energy that looked like binary code wrapped around his fist.
"Don't ever touch my goggles!" He'd warned angry about Dressmon trying to mess with his attire with the others looking suprised to see that. He then realized the others were staring at him and the energy quicky disappated. "Oh uh.. sorry about that. Let's go Gatchmon Realise!" He'd then called using his App Drive to let Gatchmon take physical form ready to fight.
"That's so cool! I wanna Realize too!" Dokamon called wanting to also join in the fightning after Gatchmon realized. "The truth is I've never Realized before but now's my chance to show what I'm made of!" He'd stated awkwardly about not having ever done it before.
"Eri Apprealize Dokamon and let's fight together." Haru spoke telling her to join them in fighting off Dressmon. "If we don't stop them they'll keep messing up and ruinging everyone's outfits forever."
"Alright, if it means helping my fellow idols and the friends at the station I'll do it. Appmon Chip Ready!" She'd finally agreed and slid the circle down on her App Drive. She'd then grabbed Dokamon's chip and put it into the slot before sliding the circle back up. "Alright Apprealize!" An energy stream that was blue in color shot out from the device and Dokamon had finally appeared in person for the first time.
"Right to the body, I'm dishing out a Big Bang punch!" Dokamon called out ready to join in the fighting against Dressmon too. "I finally Apprealized! This is amazing, Eri, let's fight together to take them out."
As he'd said that something appeared from Eri's App Drive and creating a hologram of a D-pad and two buttons in front Eri. "What's this?"
"Eri, use that to use my special ability!" Dokamon called out ready to help take them out and Eri nodded holding up her App Drive to the display making things aorund her seem different to how they were in the AR Field. "Sweep down to right, then kick!"
"Right." Eri spoke punching down on the D-pad then moving her hand to the right button "Sweep down, then Kick!" She'd then actually jumped up kicking the second button.
Dokamon began to glow with a yellow aura and called out "Doka-Doka Rush!" before jumping up and flying off towards Dressmon and firing rapid punches at them repeatedly slamming into them and knocking Dressmon into the air sending them flying as a result.
"You all really have no taste!" Dressmon called standing up and started growing larger untill she was bigger than the rest of them.
"Eri, leave this one to Gatchmon and I. Appmon chip in App Fusion!" Haru then called inserting Navimon's chip and pressing thet App Link button which fused Navimon and Gatchmon once more into Dogatchmon.
"Whoa, App Fusion?" Eri spoke surprised to see how Gatchmon had changed into this new form with the help of Navimon.
"That's so cool!" Dokamon called out really liking how amazing that looked to see their new super form.
"I'm already sick of you Dressmon." Dogatchmon called moving the pointers from his helmet and legs into position "It's time for you to go, Dogatch Buster!" He'd then fired the beam out of Dressmon englulfing them in the attack.
The attack struck and Dressmon spewed out data chunks and they created rings around them that counted down from three to one and they'd changed back to normal size seeming much more relaxed now. Haru then held up his App Drive and Dressmon shot into it in the form of energy before it then dropped out a chip with her image on it.
We then cut back to the human world where they'd seen that everything had gone back to normal and were relaxed letting out a sigh seeing that the costumes were finally back to normal the way that they were supposed to be. Haru thought it would be a good idea to introduce Eri to Thomas and Marcus too and Eri had been explaing about how she'd gotten her own App Drive to them.
"I began to smile watching those Idol tapes and then one day a ufo crane machine dropped the App Drive with it asking me if there was someone I wanted to make smile. I clicked yes because I wanted to help my overworked mom, to see her smile again, that's when I met Dokamon." She'd explained to them about how she got her App Drive and Dokamon as her Appmon Buddy. "By the way Haru what was that weird thing around your fist earlier?"
"Oh uh.. heh." Haru began to scratch the back of his head awkwardly not sure if she'd even understand it. "Well, it's.. It's my Digisoul."
"You used your Digisoul to fight an Appmon? Cool, it's about time you started to learn how to use it offensively." Marcus spoke about haru using his Digisoul like that.
"Great, just what we need, a mini Marcus." Thomas then sighed in response to hearing that Haru was starting to use his Digisoul to fight things.
