Rewriting: App Monsters: Drive Season 01 Episode 07
Haru had invited both Eri and Astora to meet up and they were going to his Uncles' house to do that. The two had shown up not long after however Astora been surprised by the blue dog with boxing gloves and the yellow dinosaur with training bands on their arms there waiting for them alongside the elder men who were standing there waiting for all three to arrive.
"Um.. are those guys Appmon? They're bigger than Musimon." Astora questioned who the two non humans were that sat in front of him now.
"I am Gaomon, the Digimon Partner of Sir Thomas." The Blue dog with boxing gloves explained with a wave of his boxing glove covered hand.
"And I'm Agumon, the Boss' Digimon Partner." The Yellow Dinosaur answered back while gesturing to Marcus while calling him Boss.
"Today we're gonna see how well the six of you fight." Marcus explained to them about just what they were doing there that day. "New guy, I'm Marcus, and this is Thomas."
"I'm Astora." Came the reply from the third Apptuber to have been discovered so far as he waved in greeting too.
"The four of us are going to be testing you all so I hope you're prepared." Thomas then stated telling them that they were going to be training now.
"Wen do we start?" Eri questioned just when they were supposed to start being tested by the four of them.
"Right now. Baby Flame!" Agumon called out and proceeded to shoot a fireball at them making the three have to dodge to the side to avoid being burned.
"Hey, you can't just attack out of nowhere!" Eri called while trying to run from Agumon and putting Dokamon's chip into her Appdrive "Appmon chip ready, relaize!" She'd then called bringing out Dokamon.
"You think your enemies are gonna fight fair?" Agumon questioned and began to charge up as his head started to turn pink "Baby Burner!" He'd then called out and blasted Dokamon backwards making them skid across the ground.
"Ow, that wasn't what I expected." Dokamon stated sitting with his face on the ground before getting up ready to try again.
"Don't let your guard down, Double Backhand!" Gaomon called charging at Haru and Astora as the two ducked out of the way of his attack.
"Appmon chip ready!" The two boys called out doing the same as eri "Realize!" with that both Gatchmon and Musimon appeared and they started to fight back againt Gaomon trying to get him to let up.
"Let's try it!" Astora called as a display appeared that looked like a DJ's table in front of him and he began messing with the controls. "Can you feel the grove now Gaomon?"
"I can totally feel it!" Musimon called and started to glow slightly using a conductor's baton with one of his large handlike ears "Music Hour!" He'd then called and sent out musical notes that wrapped around the blue dog.
"Eri, give it your all!" Dokamon called as a display of a video game controller appeared in front of her and she began doing the input which made Dokamon glow and charge forwards running through Agumon's fireball and calling "Dokkan Punch!" and slammed his fist into Agumon's face knocking him backwards.
"Agumon you alright buddy?" Marcus asked as his Digimon partner then stood up and nodded "Guess it's time we stop playing around huh?"
"Ya, let's do it Boss!" Agumon answered back and jumped back to beside Marcus with the redhead and the yellow dinosaur fist bumping each other with a bit of force as a red energy that looked like flaming binary code appeared around the redhead's fist.
"Haru, our turn!" Gatchmon called with a display appearing in front of him and he'd began typing things in. "Alright Deep Search!" Haru's Buddy Appmon then called with his magnifying glass on his helmet getting bigger and he'd tried to slam his claw into it, however he'd been knocked back by the tool when he tried it. "Ahh, what in the?"
"Wait, waitwaitiwat, wait!" Haru then suddenly realized about what's happening right now. "Gatchmon, we can't search anything on them because there's nothing to search!"
"Hmp, Digimon are a guarded secret. All information on them gets scrubbed from every net database in existence." Thomas reminded them as Gaomon was pulling on the musical notes that had him into the air. "Now let's see you handle this!" he'd then called to them snapping his fingers and a blue aura like the one Marcus had appeared around his hand.
"Digisoul Charge!" Both Marcus and Thomas called at the same time putting their hands with the energy surrounding them onto their own strange devices and blasting the energy at their Digimon.
"Gaomon digivolve to.. Gaogamon!" Thomas' Digimon partner called out as he'd grown into a larger quadropedal dog with claws that stuck out from the boxing gloves and had broken free of Musimon's musical notes.
"Agumon digivolve to.. Geo Greymon!" Was what Marcus' Digimon partner called as he'd grown into a large orange dinosaur with the top of his head having an armored skull and horns along with red stripes on his head and blue stripes on his body.
"Holy crap those guys are big!" Astora called out about just how much bigger they'd gotten compared to their Appmon Buddies.
"Gatchmon, Navimon, Appfusion!" Haru called out with his two Appmon fusing together once more and becoming DoGatchmon.
"Our turn, Dokamon, Perorimon, Appfusion!" Eri then called as her Appmon Buddy fused with their match and once ore became Dosukomon.
The four then started to fight with the Super Grade Appmon managing to at least hold their own against the Champion Level Digimon, however Musimon continued trying to fight as is and this had started to annoy Eri. Musimon had gotten smacked across the yard from Geo Greymon's tail and they'd tried to get back up however both Champion Digimon unleashed their attacks side by side creating a flaming tornado that knocked the Super Appmon back to their Standard Grade forms.
"What's your deal, why didn't you go Super too? We could have won if you weren't so pathetic!" Eri yelled angry about losing so easily.
"We can't." Musimon answered back looking upset. "We don't have a match like Gatchmon and Dokamon do."
"If you can't help then why are you here exactly? Yo should just go home." Eri then stated annoyed that they couldn't go Super and saying they were useless.
This had caused Astora to run off with Musimon angry about what they were doing and made the others look at Eri angry. "That's not okay, just because they can't do one thing doesn't mean they aren't capable of helping out in other ways. You can learn alot by giving other people a chance." Marcus stated bluntly as Geo Greymon returned to being Agumon again.
"He's right, Gaomon and I once beat someone who studdied all of our moves by changing things up the way Marcus and Agumon would've." Thomas then added also scolding her with Gaogmon becoming Gaomon again. "Now go and apologize." He'd then stated gesturing for her to go after them.
"Hey you never told me that." Marcus then stated saying that he hadn't heard that little story before. "What do you mean something I'd do?"
"Oh, did I not tell you? Guess it must have slipped my mind." Thomas stated while starting to walk back inside.
"Hey get back here pretty boy!" Marcus then yelled chasing after his husband and best friend outside of Agumon.
"They're right, we should go make sure Astora is okay." Haru stated and Eri nodded now feeling bad after being chewed out and realizing she'd done the same to Astora.
Back with Astora, to get his mind off of it he and Musimon had gone into a random shop filled with electronics, recording equipment, computers, cameras, televisions, so on and so forth. The two had been walking around the recording equipment and heard something, so they went to check it out discovering an Appmon that looked like a microphone with smaller mics for arms and hands.
"Hi there." Astora spoke surprising the Appmon as they backed away to hide. "Don't be afraid, I'm Astora and this is Musimon, what's wrong?"
"I'm Recomon. The other Appmon Dogamon keeps making fun of me because i can only record and playback sound. He keeps calling me useless." They'd answered back with Astora and Musimon looking at each other and nodding.
"Hey, we were told we were useless earlier today too, but you know what? They were wrong and so was Dogamon. We could use your help." Musimon stated to them making the mic look up at them.
"R-really?" The Recording Appmon question looking up at them not so sure about him being able to help.
"Ya, I make videos for fun and the Mic I have isn't very good. We could use someone with your skills to make them sound even better." Astora answered back as the screens started showing different weird and sometimes stupid things on them. "What the?"
"Astora!" Eri called at the door next to Haru alongside Dokamon and Gatchmon while breathing heavy from running to catch up. "I'm sorry, about earlier. I was just frustrated about how easily we got our butts kicked, I shouldn't have taken it out on you."
"Oh how sweet." A voice called out that Haru seemed to recognize and the displays on the cameras all appeared to be a small purple appmon. "It's been awhile Gatchmon, Haru."
"Caméramon?" Haru questioned by what he'd seen on the displays for the cameras and the voice that sounded familiar.
"Not anymore, I've found my own perfect fusion partner. I've taken in the power of Shotmon and now I am Scorpmon. Come and face me if you dare." With that a tear appeared in front of them.
"Well it'd be rude to refuse. AR Field Open!" Haru called using his App Drive to enter the AR field with the others.
"You're still around?" Another Appmon spoke questioning them as they had a tv screen for a head and Recomon got behind Astora.
"That's Dogamon." Recomon stated about them not sure about facing them just yet though Musimon just smiled and looked smug.
"You wanna kick this guy's butt? How about we Applink?" Musimon questioned about helping to take them out.
"I'm.. not sure." Recomon answered back as they were still afraid even though they had already given them a purpose and proven he wasn't useless.
"We'll focus on Scorpmon, you handle the rest." Haru called to them and used his Appdrive to once more fuse Gatchmon and Navimon into Dogatchmon.
"Eri, I've got an idea." Dokamon spoke and his Human Buddy nodded in response and then used the Appdrive to once more fuse Dokamon and Perorimon into Dosukomon. "Okay, now we're talking." He'd then called as Eri punched in a new combination onto the virtual controller. "Dohyō Field!" He'd called creating a barrier that split Scorpmon onto oneside and Dogamon onto the other.
"With this power only one on one duels can be had." Eri stated to them stating it's more a devide and conqure idea.
"Right, Recomon, Musimon let's do it. Applink!" Astora called as Recomon was absorbed into the App Drive and then released in energy form with a cable coming from himself and from Musimon appearing sticking togehter and forming an energy ring with the two then appearing in a new form. This one had grown larger and had four ears with screens and speakers found on different parts of his body with one large visor where his eyes should be.
"Wherever culture's dancing, that's where you'll find me! No Mediamon, no life!" The new Super Grade Appmon, Mediamon, stated ready to fight.
"I know exactly what to search to beat him now!" Haru stated using the holographic search tool and sending the information to Dogatchmon.
"Got it, Deep Dive!" DoGatchmon called creating an energy circle on the ground and quite literally diving into it flying around through the lines of the net and grabbing a large sphere before jumping out and cracking in his hands. "Search results found!"
"Yo Dogamon, your screens ain't got nothing on me! Vurtualverse!" Mediamon called out creating a virtual spaceship that fired a beam from an orbital laser attached to it and blasted the tv screen headed Appmon making them spew chunks and create energy circles around them that counted down from three to one before then exploding.
Dogamon had turned into energy and was sucked in by Astora's App Link taking on the form of an Appchip and dropping into his hand while Scorpmon was looking around demanding "Whered are you DoGatchmon, we need to finish this! You can't hide forever!"
"I'm right here, DoGatch Buster!" Called the Super Appmon Buddy of Haru as he'd made the arrows on his helmet and legs stick together in a pointed star shape and unleashed a blast of energy at them shooting Scorpmon thorugh the building and onto the ground below.
"I see, I still must get even stronger." Scorpmon stated using their rifle arm to keep balance as he'd struggled to stand up properly and then disappeared from the field escaping to try again another day.
"Yo, we did it!" Astora cheered out about having defeated Dogamon and making Scorpmon retreat for now.
"I bet we could totally beat your uncles now that we've got three Super Grade Appmon!" Eri cheered, however that was short lived as we see Geo Greymon and Gaogamon standing in a field with the three Super Appmon on the ground looking like they'd just taken a beating but they'd let out a laugh with Eri sighing stating "Then again, maybe not." disappointed they still failed to beat them.
