Rewriting: App Monsters: Drive Season 01 Episode 11
Haru was at Ai's family bookstore chatting with her along with another classmate they called Watson who was looking kinda down in the dumps as he'd been explaining something to them. "And then this dinosaur thing just took my character Schnider away." Haru's classmate sighed explaining it to Haru and Ai.
"That does sound strange." Haru spoke unsure of just what it might be while Gatchmon had been sitting on his app chip looking through the magnifying glass on his head.
"There's nothing on the net Haru, the only thing my searches won't tell me about are.." Gatchmon stated to his human Buddy with a sigh putting the magnifying glass.
"Digimon." Haru then sighed and stood up as his two classmates looked at him confused. "I'm gonna go look into this. Uncle Thomas has a lot of info on different stuff so maybe he'll know something." With that he and Gatchmon had run off.
Moving to later we see that the App Drivers group had gathered at the Damon residence once more and were watching the news as a woman had been talking about IOT devices and online games and how they were having issues with characters going rogue. They'd seen that the characters on the recordings had been looking around for something too questioning where they were.
"They may be working for Leviathan's infected Appmon." Rei stated to the group as the video recordings continued and showed a black colored digimon with red stripes that looked rather familiar.
"Agumon?" Eri questioned seeing the dinosaur and how it had a resemblence to Marcus' Digimon Partner.
"Hey that's not me!" Agumon then responded defensively about the dinosaur that had been shown on the tv a second ago.
"Obviously, I'm looking for them through the Digimon Analyzer now." Thomas then stated back while messing with a small one handed computer he could search through.
"Well Nerdstein, you got anything?" Marcus then questioned while sitting backwards on a chair with his arms resting on the back of it.
"Please don't call me that." Thomas then stated while continuing to go through the data on the anylizer that he had.
"Whatever you say" Marcus answered back before getting a cheeky look on his face and adding "Your majesty."
This made Thomas stop what he was doing and take a deep breath through his nose before exhaling out of his mouth choosing not to respond to that though it was clear it did get to him. He'd then continued the search and finally managed to get a result.
"There it is, according to the Anylizer it's the X-Antibody equivelent of the black variant of Agumon." The blond then stated showing them the information that they had, what little they did have anyway.
"What's a Digimon doing in the AR Fields?" Hackmon then questioned as Rei seemed to as interested in that as he was.
"Guess we'll leave it to you guys since we can't battle in the AR Fields." Marcus spoke up stating it would be up to the rest of them.
The App Drivers then nodded in agreement and Gatchmon pulled up a search result for the game characters rampaging rather than trying to find anything on the Black AgumonX and found different results for them to check out. "Seems he's the only one involved in all the events."
"Then our first priority should be to try to find this Black AgumonX." Rei stated to the group as they'd nodded and started to head out to begin their investigation.
"Maybe the rampaging characters are looking for the remaining Seven Code Appmon to try to stop us." Astora suggested to the group while they were walking.
"Talk about a real downer huh?" Musimon stated about the idea if them finding the remaining Seven Code before them.
"This one is our specialty, Haru you and Gatchmon take Black AgumonX while the rest of us try to find out what's going on with the hacked game characters." Rei then stated to them and Haru nodded agreeing with that.
"Let's go get them!" Dokamon called out ready to fight those malfunctioning characters and stop them from finding the remaining Seven Code Appmon.
With that they split off into three teams leaving Haru and Gatchmon to take on the Digimon issue while Eri and Astora began dealing with the rampaging game characters alongside their Appmon. Meanwhile Rei and Hackmon were doing their hacker level stuff to see if they could find some sort of pattern.
"Haru, there's a safe zone being created by the rampaging characters, they're specifically leaving one particular area alone to drive the Seven Code Appmon there. If the Digimon has anything to do with this they'll be going as well." Rei stated through the chip band on Haru's wrist.
"Got it, we're close by and will go check it out." Haru then answered back after being sent the information on his phone. "C'mon Gatchmon."
"Right." Gatchmon responds as the two headed inside and made their way to the exact location that Rei had been telling them about. "An AR Field, just what we were expecting."
"Let's go Gatchmon, AR Field Open!" Haru then called using his App Drive to open up the AR Field and let the two of them go inside.
"This looks like one of those action horror games you showed me, the one with the cool guy who saved using a typwriter." Gatchmon stated as the two began checking out the area to see if anyone was there and noticed something coming that way.
"Baby flame!" Whatever was attacking called out as a fireball had shot forth at them with the two jumping out of the way, this let them get a look at their assailant and saw that it was the Black AgumonX that they were searching for.
"Haru stay back he's dangerous." Gatchmon warned his human friend about fighting against the Digimon that stood in front of them.
"Ya, well so am I. Uncle Marcus uses his Digisoul to fight Digimon and there's no reason I can't too." Haru stated as his Digisoul flared up as a warning to this Black AgumonX that stood in front of them.
"Haru..?" The Black AgumonX questioned blinking completely forgetting about the fighting all of a sudden. "Haru.. Haru.. that sounds familiar." They'd thought as a memory of an old man appeared in his head telling him to find them using their full name. "Hey, are you Haru Shinkai?"
"Um.. yes?" Haru then stated also now confused about what exactly is going on at the moment as his Digisoul calmed and dissapated. "How do you know that?"
"HARUUU!" The Black AgumonX called out happily jumping onto him knocking them over by accident. "I remember, and old man told me to find Haru Shinkai because he would be my partner!"
This, triggered Gatchmon a bit as they shoved Agumon off of Haru calling "HEY! Haru's already got a Buddy and it's me!"
"Oh but Haru is supposed to be my partner." Black AgumonX stated to them looking as if they were confused and trying to process what was said. That was before his stomach began to growl and Haru remember what his Uncles told him about Digimon and empty stomachs.
"Let's eat." Haru then told them holding up the Digivice Burst that his Uncles gave him and they went to the forest area of the AR Field they were in to sit and have lunch.
The two sat on a small log over a stream as Haru used the Digivice Burst to make some food appear from it surprising both Black AgumonX and Gatchmon at the same time. They'd all taken some from the pile that was projected outwards and started to enjoy the food that they'd gotten from the device.
"Wow this is yummy." Black AgumonX stated enjoying the food that they were having for lunch today.
"Wait, weren't you eating those game characters?" Gatchmon questioned about the different game characters that they'd been attacking.
"Huh, why would I eat that? I was just helping because Minerva asked me to." Black AgumonX stated about why he was attacking them.
"Wait, Minverva asked you to do it!?" Haru questioned surprised to hear that he'd actually spoken to the creator of the Appmon.
"Well, I woke up here and a voice said I am Minerva and I would like you to help me please save the Seven Code from Leviathan, stop the game characters from finding them." Black AgumonX answered back not knowing if that was really such a big deal or not.
"So you're the ones getting in our way." A voice spoke as a shadow with large eyes appeared over their heads. "I'll just use my cheats to summon a Boss Rush and destroy you, go my minions and defeat them!" They'd called summoning a bunch of large monsters and enemies to fight against them.
"Appmon chip ready, Ultimate Apprealise!" Haru called using his App Driver to make Gatchmon become Globemon again.
"I am the Appmon who stands at the center of the Earth. Globemon!" The Ultimate Grade Appmon called as one of the monsters were trying to eat Black AgumonX only to get a swift kick in the gut by Globemon making them drop him.
"Black AgumonX are you alright?" Haru questioned catching the Digimon before he could hit the ground and they'd nodded.
Black AgumonX looked up at Globemon and seemed impressed by them "So cool." He'd stated before looking at who was supposed to be his human partner "Haru, I wanna evolve too."
"Er, well I could try." Haru stated holding up his Digivice Burst and the two nodded towards one another. He'd spun the Digivce like a clock hand going backwards in front of them calling out "Digisoul" as he flared up the power of his Digisoul as much as he could "Full Charge." Haru then added stopping the Digivice so that it was pointing upright and put his hand on top before pointing it at Black AgumonX "OVERDRIVE!" He'd then called out as the energy shot towards Black AgumonX.
"Black AgumonX Warp Digivolve to.." They'd called as silloetts of different forms appeared and then rings wrapped around him that crystalized him before stretching him out and wrapping around him creating armor and clawed gauntlets along with a sorta jetpack thruster style piece on his back allowing him to stay in the air "Black War GreymonX!"
The Digimon then took off into the skys to help Globemon as he was fighting the bosses knocking an attack meant for Haru's Appmon Buddy out of the sky to help them out. "Who?" Globemon questioned surprised by the sudden help.
"I am the remnant of a Digimon that helped save the Digital World long ago, Black War GreymonX." The Digimon answered back turning towards Globemon. "Let's take them out together."
"Right, we'll need to clear these guys out an take out the real boss." Globemon stated as the two had been floating back to back with one another.
"Right, let's go!" Black War GreymonX called and the two launched off from one another at high speeds beating down the bosses with ease and knocked one of them into the shadowy figure revealing them as an Appmon.
"There, it's Uratekumon!" Globemon called to their new ally and the Appmon tried to flee but Globemon and Black War GreymonX had been proven to be too fast for them and cut off their path to escape.
"Uratekumon you're the one who's caused these game characters to go crazy aren't you?" Black War GreymonX questioned looking down at them.
In response to this Uratekumon mashed buttons on the controller they were holding stating "I'll use my supersize cheat code. You really should have just let the characters find the remaining Seven Code Appmon but now it's too late." as he'd grown much larger than the two of them and made one of the arms on the console on his head swipe at them but they'd dodged it.
"Your terrible cheats will be exposed by the light of day." Globemon stated to the Leviathan infected Appmon that was trying to defeat them.
"Let's go, Globemon!" Black War GreymonX called out to Haru's Ultimate Grade Appmon Buddy.
"GLANZ GAZER!" Globemon called out creating energy in front of him and then fired it out like a massive beam at Uratekumon.
"Take this, all the negative emotions of those you've hurt and controlled, forced to do your bidding" Black War GreymonX called out creating a purple sphere in front of him before holding it up to the sky and making it grow to massive scale "ANKOKU NO GAIA FORCE!" He'd then called throwing the sphere at them.
The two attacks collided with Uratekumon and it didn't even have a counter like when they defeated other Appmon it just went straight into Haru's App Drive giving him the chip to add to his collection and Globemon and War GreymonX landed in front of Haru and then reverted back to their normal stages looking exhausted.
"Hey Big Brother Gatchmon." Black AgumonX spoke looking over at Gatchmon while calling him his big brother. "Let's fight alongside Haru together, for the sake of both Appmon and Digimon."
"Ya." Gatchmon nodded in agreement liking the idea of continuing to work together along with them.
