"But how do we stop it?" Ryder asked, his voice trembling slightly. The raw power emanating from the vortex was terrifying.

Ryder wasn't sure what a stabilizer entailed, but he knew he had to try. "What do I do?"
"Within the vortex lies a deactivated signal amplifier," the AI continued. "You'll need to locate it and reactivate it. Once operational, it will serve as a conduit for my dampening field, effectively neutralizing the anomaly."
