Fun fact (not really fun), if you want to include a song lyric in any work of fiction that you want to sell, you have to get permission from the artist and the record label they are licensed to. If by some chance you want to make a heavy metal themed story because one of the characters is a metalhead using song quotes to set the mood for every chapter, it would require a lot of legal paperwork.

Which brings us here. This is a fanfiction, I am making no money from it, I am not selling it, and while there are a few original characters in this, they're pretty minor and I offer them as public domain.

This is also a derivative fanfiction. I have asked permission from Lordi/DeltaRoxx who was awesome enough to grant me not only permission but spoilers to the ongoing White Wings which this derives its setting from. That means read Lordi's excellent Black Velvet and White Wings before this or this story won't make any sense. As of this writing White Wings is not completed, so spoilers for that series as, again, this would be a multiverse split after it.

In KoF terms this would be a "Dream Match" a story that doesn't affect the actual cannon of Lordi's setting. Also, much like Maximum Impact, this will have a different tone from Lordi's storyline and is only going to be enjoyed by a select audience. Less Ang Lee, more Chad Stahleski. I haven't written a true fanfiction since 2009 barring some commissioned smut-fics; Black Velvet not only inspired me to write but allowed me to try my hand at actual romance and some drama rather than just plot, sex, and violence in equal measure.
