After Barry got some change of clothes, thanks to Klaus since they were the only ones that fit, the scarlet speedster began to explain what has happened to him for the past few days. Not only was he trying to get fast and try to stop a psycho path from taking his speed, but in the process he accidentally opened a wormhole in the fabric of the universe. There he explains in a bit of detail how he met another superhero who goes by Supergirl. But after finding a way back to his world, he somehow ended up in this world, with Supergirl either in this world or the next.
Elijah was impressed to say the least as he learned that not only the multiverse is real, but in other worlds, aliens from other planets exist. Safe to say, the honorable vampire was very fascinated as he learned more of Barry's world and how it created powers for ordinary men and women.
Meanwhile, Klaus was merlying rolling his eyes at this being all boring to him with no interest in him. If he wanted to sit through this boring stuff, he would rather have someone kill him and get it over with. Sadly, it wouldn't do much good considering he is immortal and can't die.
After hearing all that, Elijah stood up and gave Barry a look. "I promise you, Barry, I will do everything I can to bring you back to your world to the people you love." Elijah promises.
Barry just nodded his head in gratitude as the two shook hands. "Thank you, Elijah."
Klaus just groans at this debacle. "Are you done yet?" The hybrid asks. "Because we still have the matters with our sister." He said with a sneer in his tone, which Barry notices.
"Yes, we are." Elijah answered, before Barry spoke up.
"Uh, you mind telling me what is going on first?" He asks as the two look at him. "And why are you two vampires?"
Klaus just groaned again as he stood up. "We don't have time for this." He then walked up to Barry as he grabbed his head. "This will be faster." That's when Klaus uses his powers to give his memories to Barry, to catch him up to speed and what they have been up to.
All the memories of Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah, and the rest of the Mikaelson siblings rush through Barry. He sees how they lost a younger brother. In their grief their father had their mother make them stronger to fight the werewolves of this world. But because of the spell, it made them the first vampires in existence. He then saw all what they have done, the evil, the monsters they have been for most of their lives. But what he also saw was the bond that they had, the family they began. Especially with Elijah and Rebekah as they made a vow of always and forever to be with each other for the rest of their mortal lives. The memories of Elijah making a promise to be by Klaus' side and make him his mission to have Klaus get redemptions. Then it showed what recent events had spiraled with Dalia, their aunt, coming for Hope and to take her magic. With Freya alone trying her best to help, even if Klaus doesn't believe it for one second.
That's when the movies ended as Barry let out a groan as he fell to one knee as he wasn't expecting the memories of the Mikaelson sibling to come right at him. "There, now we are all caught up." Klaus said nonchalantly as Elijah went to Barry's side as he checked if he was ok. "Are we done?" He asks as Barry and Elijah just glare at him before Rebekah, who was in another body still, shows up.
"Who is he?" Rebekah questions after walking in after the day she had.
"Barry Allen." he introduced himself before he stood up as he and Rebekah shook hands.
"I'm -" Rebekah began to introduce herself, before Barry cut her off.
"Rebekah Mikaelson, I know." Barry then explains. "Your brother gave me a crash course of you guys."
"Right, so why are you here?" Rebekah asks in confusion.
"It's a bit of a long story, but basically I'm from another universe and I need your brother's help to get me home." Barry explains.
"Uh…got it." Rebkah said as she doesn't know how she feels about the new guy, but if her siblings think he's chill to be here then he should be.
"So what happened to you, Rebekah?" Barry asks wanting to change subjects.
"It was that witch, Eva. The nasty little cow inside me is trying to bust her way out." Rebekah said angrily.
"Freya is still downstairs. Maybe…" Elijah started to say but Klaus exploded.
"Have you lost your mind? Tell me we're not considering opening our sister's head to someone we barely know!" Klaus told them and Barry had to admit he couldn't agree more.
"Nik, for God's sake, she is our sister!" Rebekah exclaimed. "I've known since the cottage."
"An act known to secure your trust. An act no doubt meant to secure your trust! Perhaps for this very moment, to strike when we are vulnerable!" Klaus explains causing Rebekah to scowl at her brother, but he didn't care. "No, we have no way of knowing if she's telling the truth."
"Klaus is right.'' Barry spoke up, after being quiet as he didn't want to get too invested, but it looks like it's too late.
"He is?!/I am?!" The three siblings exclaimed in surprise.
"Look, I had someone who I thought I knew as a mentor and a friend. Only to find out they manipulated me and my team for a long time. So yeah I agree that Klaus has the right to be cautious." Barry explains his reasoning.
"Ha!" Klaus said before giving Barry a smile. "I'm starting to like you already."
Barry was going to say something else but Elijah beat him to it. "Klaus, Barry….I understand your concern. Both of us are powerless to help our sister. Now, either we leave Rebekah to suffer, or we place our faith in the hands of someone I believe to be our blood." Elijah tried to reason with them. "It seems like the way to go right now."
Rebekah sat in the living room, nervous and afraid. Barry sat next to her as he tries to calm her nerves by having a bit of a talk, which seems to ease her a little bit.
But to be honest, Barry didn't know how he felt. Yes, he would like to trust Freya into helping Rebekah, but he also wants to be cautious too in case she lies. Having this happen before, he doesn't want to make the same mistake twice.
Klaus did as expected; he sat down at the bar, grabbed a drink and pouted for himself in the corner.
Elijah brought Freya with him and she seemed happy to see Rebekah again.
"Rebekah. It's good to see you again." Freya said and grabbed a hold of her hands.
"And you! Although I'd prefer better circumstances." Rebekah replied.
The two sit next to each other on the couch while Elijah stands off to the side. Freya then turns to Barry.
"And you would be our mystery guest, I assume." Freya said to the speedster.
"Yes I would be." Barry Answered before the two introduced each other. "So why should they trust you?" He asked.
"You needn't worry. Elijah explained the problem. I could help." Freya assured him.
"Rather confident, aren't we?" Klaus grumbled from his corner.
Freya turns to look at him, partly amused and partly confused, but when Klaus doesn't even acknowledge her, she just scoffs and turns back to Rebekah and Barry. "The spirit of the host's body is powerful, but I can cast a spell. Put you in a deep sleep, and then suppress this other essence. You'll be just fine." Freya said, choosing to ignore Klaus's comment.
"Lovely. When do we start?" Rebekah asked eagerly.
"You've got to be kidding me. She spouts off some magical diagnosis, and we're all supposed to applaud?" Klaus exclaimed and it made me roll my eyes.
"Nik, she's trying to help." Rebekah argued.
"Look I hate to say this again, but Klaus is right." Barry spoke as he immediately stood up. "No offense Freya, we may have just met and everything. But Klaus is right to be suspicious because this could all be a trick and you could be working with Dalia."
"I would never work with that monster!" Freya spat out.
"Exactly!" Barry then looks towards Elijah and Kalus. "Can you guys have one of your witch friends or something and check her spells to make sure they are right?" He asked the brothers.
Klaus just smiles, liking this speedster more every minute. Perhap he was wrong to try to kill him, maybe, but it doesn't mean he will fully trust Barry just yet. "See! Even Barry is right about this. We should get Davina involved. She'd love to prove me wrong." Klaus told them and that part was actually true.
"I doubt she would understand my magic. Let alone have the power to execute it." Freya told him with certainty.
"Oh, so you're our only hope then? Seems rather convenient, doesn't it?" Klaus spat back at her.
"Look, we just wanna consider our options about trust." Barry told her. "That is all."
"I know." Freya said softly. "I applaud you Barry as everyone should have the right to be suspicious, but all I ever want is my family back and to finally stop Dalia once and for all."
Klau just scoffs. "Oh, please."
Frey then looks at Klaus. "I knew it would be difficult to earn your trust, Niklaus. Your reputation precedes you." Klaus smiles mockingly at her as she stands and walks toward him. "But, if we are to face Dahlia together, you will have to trust me. Given the peril that Rebekah now faces, are you truly incapable of giving me even a chance to prove myself?" Klaus rolls his eyes and turns back toward the bar, so Freya addresses Elijah and Rebekah instead. "I know I appear as an outsider, but I have dreamt of you all for a thousand years." She then looks at Barry. "And when this is all over, I'll help in whatever way I can to bring you home."
Rebekah, Barry, and Elijah look at each other before turning back to Freya. They did have to admit, she makes a good point.
"Elijah- when you were in Esther's womb, she would ask me to sing to you. I would feel her belly as I did." Freya laughs. "How you would kick. She would say it was as if Thor himself had raised his hammer-"
"And summoned thunder and lightning." Elijah continued. "Mother rarely mentioned you, but when she did, she would say how enchanted you were with the prospect of my birth." They smile at each other, and Elijah is visibly touched that she would remember this memory.
"How I wanted more brothers. And a sister-" Freya looks over at Rebekah, who smiles at her affectionately. "- more than anything." Klaus continues to stew in the corner, upset to be left out, while Barry rolls his eyes. "But between Esther and Dahlia, that wish was taken from me. I was ruined by those who raised me. If nothing else, at least we have that in common." She looks over at Klaus, who continues scowling silently across the room, before turning back to Elijah and Barry. "There is nothing that can replace what was taken from us. But, I hope we can make something better in its place. All you have to do is trust me."
Before anyone can say anything, Klaus vamp-speeds over to her and breaks her neck. Rebekah and Barry tries to intervene, but they weren't fast enough.
"Nik!" Rebekah said furiously.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Barry yells at him, as he wasn't expecting Klaus to just do that.
Klaus just smirks at his action. "Well, that's enough of that, don't you think?" Klaus said, dropping her to the floor. "Right, now we can have a proper family meeting." Klau then looks at Barry. "Sorry, but I think it's time you step out of the room."
"Like hell I would!" Barry answered before he checks on her. Rebekah is furious as she looks over at Klaus, who is pacing along one side of the room while Elijah paces along the other.
"Was that absolutely necessary?" Rebekah asked him.
"Oh please, she was insufferable." Klaus said like he did nothing wrong.
"That was ridiculous, even for you!" Barry argued.
"You've only just met her. Let's not get sentimental, besides, if she was telling the truth being immortal, she'll awaken shortly. If she was lying; good riddance." Klaus said smugly.
"Yes. Of course, if she wakes, she'll be willing to help us with unbridled enthusiasm." Elijah answered sarcastically.
"I get that we shouldn't trust her, but I don't think doing this will solve your problem." Barry told the hybrid.
"She played you three for fools! Can you not see that?" Klaus argued back. "She spins a sad yarn about a small child taken by an evil witch, and you three fall over yourselves to mend what's broken!"
"How can you be so certain?" Rebekah asked him.
"Simple. It's exactly what I would've done." Klaus said honestly. Elijah rolls his eyes in annoyance and kneels down to check on Freya. "My only question now is what was in it for her."
"She is very convincing if she is going to take this very far." Barry said, which Klaus wasn't liking.
"Well, whatever the truth may be, she's in no position to help us now." Elijah told him.
Rebekah glares furiously at Klaus. "Well, then we should try Marcel. Perhaps he's had luck on his end?" Rebekah suggested. "Surely he's put in a better effort."
Rebekah storms out of the room to leave for Marcel's apartment, and after a moment, Elijah follows after her. Klaus calls out after them.
"You know I'm right, Elijah. We can't have an alliance with someone we can't trust." Klaus told his older brother.
Elijah just look unamused as he turns to his younger brother. "You don't trust her, and that is your choice. I only hope that choice comes from a place of reason... not fear." Elijah told him and Barry knew that hit home.
He turns to go to Marcel's loft, leaving Klaus and Barry alone in the living room with Freya's unconscious body.
Barry just sighs. "So what do we do while we wait for her to wake up? If she does."
Kluas rolls his eyes. "Bring her with us." Barry nodded his head as he easily picked her up as the two walk out of the room.
Hope you like this chapter and I do hope I made Barry sound right. Let's be honest, Barry would consider be cautious in trusting Freya, after all the stuff he has been through, this should be logical enough.
More importantly the schedule for all of my stories will be every other day, that way it's spread out. Originally I was going to psot this yesterday, but college had me busy. Tell me what you all thought of this.
