Notes:
Hello everyone! Here Vera with an update for Valentine's Day ❤️
First I apologize if I haven't updated this story often, but as I said, this story will be slow to update❤️
And before I continue, I want to thank all of you who support this and my other fics. Seriously, thank you so much for giving me a chance as a writer ❤️
Also, this chapter is dedicated to two special people.
The first one is for my dear friend Luciel, with whom I have been friends for several years. The one who has listened to me, has comforted me in my worst moments, the one who has been with me through thick and thin and with whom I share ships like this one I'm writing about, as well as other tastes in anime and manga and who has made me laugh despite the distance ❤️ I thank her infinite thanks for having given me encouragement and for having motivated me to finish this chapter. Because if it wasn't for her, there would be no chapter haha.
And the second dedication goes to that "friend" or rather, that girl whom I already considered a friend of this ship and who has now become a stranger.
Even so, I also thank her for having served as inspiration for the main thread of this chapter.
I know they both will read this and more than I know one of them is a fan of this story.
Anyway, enjoy the chapter ❤️ because here will be the end of the dating of those four and after this chapter, things between Yuta and Maki will finally escalate to the next level.
05. Baby, maybe you're the problem
"Am I the problem?"
It was after ten o'clock at night and those four were still too energetic.
After escaping from the fans. Yuta and company had managed to reach the best karaoke that was left in the center of that city.
They had asked for the biggest Karaoke room they had in that place, which, besides being expensive, had the best VIP service in terms of food and drinks.
What stood out in that room was that it had a large screen that almost covered the entire wall, besides having the most comfortable armchairs and above all, it had a balcony overlooking the main street where you could go out to watch the people passing by or you could simply go out to smoke quietly.
The atmosphere inside that luxurious room was pleasant. And the four did not miss the opportunity to order more food, more drinks and even desserts. All of which were brought directly to the room without the need to leave hunger had returned after such a chase.
And the karaoke, it is always best accompanied with some food and drinks.
"Good evening ladies and gentlemen, Are you ready to listen to us sing?" Nobara said with too much enthusiasm into that microphone, "Because I assure you, this night will be unforgettable!"
She was the one who opened that stage, imagining that she was the host of some show, and she was also the first one to sing at the top of her lungs despite sounding a little off-key.
"Seein' you tonight, it's a bad idea, right?
Seein' you tonight, fuck it, it's fine!"
And so, the four of them took turns singing.
There was even a duet between her and Yuta, as not many can boast that they sang even one song with their favorite singer of the moment.
"I love it when you call me señorita
I wish I could pretend I didn't need ya
But every touch is ooh, la-la-la
It's true, la-la-la-la
Ooh, I should be running
Ooh, you know I love it when you call me señorita"
Even Nobara sang with Itadori, with whom he had fun and they seemed to have a good dynamic in this duet singing, they were even very close to each other.
The songs were diverse, as there was a little bit of everything, from romantic to heartbreak, as well as songs from movies and series.
Throughout this Karaoke "date", Maki tried to avoid Yuta's gaze, especially when it was Yuta's turn to sing alone.
"Do you got plans tonight?
I'm a couple hundred miles from Japan, and I
I was thinkin' I could fly to your hotel tonight
'Cause I can't get you off my mind
Can't get you off my mind
Can't get you off my mind"
It was fortunate that the room had a noise isolator outside, so they could enjoy having this small but improvised concert by this up-and-coming singer.
Yuta was singing songs by other artists he admired. And just listening to him sing was a delight for those three.
Especially Nobara was fascinated, who smiled a lot when he sang and looked at her with a smile or approached her without letting go of that microphone.
"I could feel the tension
We could cut it with a knife
I know it's more than just a friendship
I can hear you think I'm right, yeah
Do I gotta convince you
That you shouldn't fall asleep?
It'll only be a couple hours
And I'm about to leave "
Yuta seemed to have chosen that song with intention, as he also glanced at Maki from time to time.
Who, she felt like that time at the concert where that singer's blue gaze was fixed on her despite having thousands and thousands of girls around her.
She hated to admit it, but deep inside her, she was beginning to like that feeling of being able to hear him exclusively inside that room and that many would envy to be in his place.
Especially since that song Yuta was singing seemed to coincide with the whole theme of his return and reunion with her right there in Japan.
Maki could notice it in his look, she could notice it in his movements and even in his notes.
She definitely felt as if he had traveled to Japan just for her. Or so he liked to believe at that moment as he listened to the final verse while Yuta's lips uttered the last lyrics of that song and his eyes fell on her before being interrupted by Nobara's applause.
"Let's get lost tonight
Let's get lost tonight
Baby, you and
I can't seem to get you off my mind
Let's get lost tonight
Let's get lost tonight
Baby, you and
I can't seem to get you off my mind"
Maki wasn't bad at singing either, but she felt nervous when she felt Yuta's gaze on her and that made her sing out of tune. So she only sang two songs the whole evening.
"Yeah they say yeah they say
I'm notorious
Know my name know my name
I'm victorious
No I don't play
Bring the fury out
Yeah they say yeah they say
I'm notorious"
She hated having those blue eyes on her even when she was doing absolutely nothing, but she couldn't deny that even her own golden gaze sought him out in that room, causing their gazes to cross a couple of times as he gave her a faint friendly smile.
Still, the idea of being there with the one she once hurt, confused and made her too uncomfortable, and even more so after hearing what Yuta had written about her in those songs from his debut album.
"Is everything between him and me really in the past? Has he really forgiven me?" she asked herself mentally as she watched the boy sing once again. "But what about me? Why does all this stuff make me feel so confused?"
11:40 p.m.
After listening to everyone sing for a while longer, Maki decided to go out to the balcony.
She needed a break from all that feeling and, above all, from listening to Nobara and Itadori, who sang horribly.
That balcony was spacious enough for two people to be out there, it even had two chairs so they could sit and enjoy the view, as well as it had a small square table in the center of those two chairs to set drinks on.
Maki approached the railing and looked down into the colorful, noisy street.
Even though it was very late, there were still many people in that place full of nightlife.
She then looked up at the sky and noticed the few stars that could be seen due to the excessive light that was around her from the spectaculars and illuminated signs.
"What a fucking day!" she shouted with annoyance. Maki was really tired from all the up and down of emotions she had gone through the previous hours.
At that moment Maki reached into her jacket pockets, hoping to find a cigarette, if only to calm her anxiety.
Maki for a moment thought about leaving Nobara with those two, she wanted to escape through the front door of the Karaoke on a trip to the bathroom and make an excuse about her escape, but she really had no heart to do something like that to her best friend, so she simply thought that the cigarette would calm her from that thought.
While searching inside her jacket, she suddenly felt something in her right pocket, which she quickly pulled out and noticed that it was the small keychain that Yuta had taken for her from that machine.
She admired it and remembered how things had happened inside that arcade, it was amazing that twice already she was very close to his lips. Feeling his breath falling on her face, his perfume on his clothes and seeing his eyes fixed on her.
Luck or misfortune? Could all this really be considered as karma?
"Karma..." she whispered, remembering what Mai had told her hours ago on that subject.
"Besides, don't you think this could be like karma for you!" Mai asked tartly, "What I'm trying to say is that if he came back like this, it must be like karma for you, I mean for everything you did to him in the past! Maybe now it's your turn to pay for the dirty dishes!
But Maki did not want to think about this cyclical issue at that moment.
Another vague memory came to her mind, as she admired that keychain in the shape of a panda bear.
That was a memory of their last kiss in high school.
It was a somewhat awkward kiss at first, but after a breath it took on depth. It was a kiss that made her feel as if thousands of little fireworks were burning inside her.
A small smile appeared on her lips as she remembered that skinny and shy boy before he left the academy.
"I do have strange ways of showing love... or jealousy... or interest" she said quietly, in a mocking tone to herself.
"Agh! Why the hell am I so confused by that idiot?" she questioned quietly as she held that key ring high in her fingers.
And while she was finding the answer to that question. A voice brought her out of her thoughts.
"Hehe if you don't like that keychain you should have told me, I hope you're not going to throw it from so high"
Maki quickly turned to where that annoying voice was coming from. It was Yuta who had also stepped out onto the balcony, slowly closing the sliding door behind him.
"Maybe if I was to throw it overboard! I wonder if he'll hit someone in the head? Or will it just plummet?" she replied sarcastically.
Yuta snorted at those words- "Hehehe typical of you"- he took a few steps towards her.
"Why did you come out here?" asked Maki with a slight smile as she put the panda back in her pocket, "Are your ears tired of listening to the howling of those two?"
Yuta shrugged his shoulders and let out a light laugh at her last words. -
"Something like that, I'd say they lack practice, but they don't sing that bad"- he stood next to her to look towards the street from that balcony. –"I was also coming to let you know that they already called us from the reception, they said that we only have 10 minutes left of Karaoke. So very soon we are going to have to leave this room"
While he was looking straight ahead, she was looking into the room through that glass door.
"You should give them singing lessons" commented Maki with her elbows leaning on the railing and looking towards the living room. –"Well, they are doing us a favor by saying that there are ten minutes left, the ideal would have been to say that we had five minutes left so as not to hear those two"
Yuta got a bit of a chuckle out of that comment. "I agree with you on that, hahaha!"
Maki felt her heart stop when she heard his laughter. It had been years since she had heard such harmonious laughter. She couldn't even remember the last time she had heard him laugh.
Yuta calmed down and continued talking "Although, I really came to talk to you. Especially since you're here alone"
Maki turned her head to look at him, even raising an eyebrow at those words.
"What the hell did you come here to talk to me about?" she asked quickly but defensively.
"Calm down!" Yuta raised his right hand a little as a sign to come in peace. -
"I came to thank you" he began to speak, looking at the people below them, "Maki, thank you very much for defending me from that fan"
Those words made Maki surprised, it was too strange to hear him thank her for something like that. But in the end, she supposed it must be something normal after she was his savior in that chaos.
"I did it because that girl was filming us. I told you that your camouflage was silly and that someone would recognize you" She scolded. "Besides, she kept pointing her stupid cell phone at me. I was just protecting my identity!"
Yuta sighed, "Yes, I know, I guess I'll have to be more careful. I guess sooner or later I'll have to hire private security so I can go around"
"Well, you're a rising star, I guess you'll have to do it now if you want to stay alive" said Maki, still looking around the room.
She was watching as Nobara and Itadori sang the last few songs and finished eating what they had ordered. Those two seemed to be having a lot of fun even without the two of them around.
"I guess it's time to hire a bodyguard" he replied, still looking down the street.
Maki shrugged, "The sooner the better" she replied absentmindedly.
But the next thing she would hear would knock her out of her orbit.
"If you put it that way. I was thinking about the following. Maki Wouldn't you like to be my bodyguard?" Yuta asked with a smile.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?" she shouted.
He could swear that her scream even echoed against the glass of the door and was even heard all the way to the street.
"I asked if you wouldn't like to be my bodyguard" Yuta said again.
"You don't have to tell me again!" Maki sounded annoyed as she turned to face him, "Of course I wouldn't want to be one! Why did you think I would accept something like that?"
"Well" Yuta's lips tightened a little as he turned to her. "I thought of this option because I saw how you defended me from that fan, besides at dinner, you said you teach self-defense and I thought you would be a good bodyguard" He looked her straight in the eyes "and who better than someone I know to be it"
"Ha! No way I'm taking this job! Besides I only teach self-defense, and I try not to test it against others unless it's necessary" Maki crossed her arms over her chest.
"Didn't that sound a bit hypocritical of you?" Yuta asked, turning again to better face the street.
"Excuse me?" Maki asked confused. –"What did you mean by that?" she said annoyed.
"You know what I mean…" he replied, only turning his face to look at her.
"I don't know what you mean" she replied angrily.
Yuta sighed and began to speak sincerely as he turned to face her once again-"Maki, I really don't understand why you keep putting on this attitude with me and only me!" he looked her in the eyes.
"Attitude? What attitude?" she asked defensively and without taking her eyes off him.
"This attitude of yours of avoiding me but at the same time wanting to attack me!" he began to speak seriously.
Yuta took a breath and then continued with what he had to say- "Since we met again, you just keep avoiding me!"- he moved his hands- "OK, I understand that maybe you avoid me because of everything that happened between us in the past, but what I don't understand is why you keep being so defensive when I'm near you, it seems that you are only against me but why?, Am I a bad person for you!"- he said without looking away from her.
Maki opened her mouth slightly, but no words could come out of her throat. So she just continued to listen to him as she pursed her lips and gritted her teeth.
"Even when we were younger, I was just trying to be your friend, like I'm trying to be your friend once again. Believe me, I didn't come back with bad intentions if that's what you think..."Yuta's shoulders dropped a little.
He sighed and continued speaking.
"I always wanted to be that person who was there for you, and the truth is I was only satisfied with being your friend. Don't you remember that? I was there for you in one of your worst moments with your family, I listened to
you when you needed to be heard and I comforted you when there was that moment of chaos and confusion in your life. I even gave you advice when you asked for it" he moved his hands a little and then made them into fists- "I even let you copy my homework so you could pass several subjects and I even shared my ideas with you and you took them as your own and in the end how did you pay me?" - he said with some annoyance but Maki remained silent.
Yuta took a deep breath to calm down and then continued talking. -
"Do you also not remember that we also shared the same tastes for the same things and talked about those things we liked so much until late at night?" his hands slackened, "And then you just suddenly walked away from me without giving me any reasons or explanations and started behaving this way against me?..." he pointed to himself- "You started to annoy me, and you even convinced the others in the high school to stop talking to me..."- he sighed once more and looked into her golden eyes.
"I just don't understand why you hurt me so much and why even now where we are adults and where I just want us to be on good terms and start from zero, you still behave like this..." Yuta slightly moistened his lips –"So Maki, at this moment I want you to tell me the truth. Did I do something bad to you to make you stop talking to me overnight? Did I offend you or say something that upset you to make you suddenly treat me so badly? Was I a bad friend or a bad partner for you? Did you never considered me a friend? Or did I hurt you with some action that made you feel so bad that you decided to plunge me into the worst depression of my life?"
Maki only pursed her lips and her arms were still crossed over her chest and her hands even gripped her forearms tightly.
It was like a bucket of cold water that hit her hard, reflecting all the damage she had done to him.
"Or was it due to something else? Eh, Maki?" Yuta questioned lastly.
She simply turned her face away. The words couldn't get out of her throat. Perhaps they were stuck because of how proud she was, even to herself and to accept that she was immature and perhaps still was. Besides, there was a feeling involved.
"I understand... I think I just understood your "answer"" he said, interpreting the silence.
Yuta sighed when he saw that Maki did not say anything. So he just took a breath and so silently turned back to the railing to look out into the street while she just looked at the ground still standing next to him.
Both were silent for a few minutes.
Yuta was leaning his arms on that railing. At that moment, it seemed that inspiration had come to him, as he began to sing.
"But with you, it's always my fault
And your short fuse, just like a time bomb
And I think you should take a second just to look at your reflection
Baby, maybe you're the problem"
Yuta chanted that, causing Maki to turn to look at him.
Maki clicked her tongue. Making that noise come out of her mouth with force. –"Are you making fun of me?" she questioned with a grimace.
"On the contrary, this situation alone has just given me a moment of inspiration, I think you have inspired me for a new song"- Yuta smiled without taking his eyes off her – "Well they say that when your jacket fits, put it on"
Maki rolled her eyes.
"More than inspiration, it seems I only serve you to create your stupid songs, Am I your mockery?"
"I'd rather say you were my muse to compose this" Yuta wrinkled his forehead a little and then opened his eyes wide, "Wait, does that mean you've already listened to my álbum?" he asked curiously.
"Actually, I fell asleep halfway through the first song!" she lied, "so I haven't even listened to the others" she turned her face away from him.
Yuta let out the air in disappointment.
"I still don't understand why you detest me so much, and more so in this case where clearly I should be cruel to you for everything you did to me. But see me here, trying to make amends and striving to get along with you" he moved his hands a little on the railing.
Maki stared at him with such words. "And why aren't you cruel to me?" she asked.
"Do you want me to be cruel to you?" Yuta raised an eyebrow at that question.
"Well one would expect you to be cruel, rude or mean to me after all I've done to you" she said staring at him.
Yuta relaxed his shoulders, "I'm just not mean to you because as I said I've already forgiven you. Remember what we said a few days ago? That this is without grudges, right?" he smiled slightly.
"And I'm just waiting to see if you've changed and for that I want to see if you do things right this time. Maybe deeds prove more than words or songs at the end of the case" he looked her in the eyes.
"Agh! Seriously, you're unbearable..." replied Maki rolling her eyes and waved her hands violently, "I don't know why I agreed to this outing," she crossed her arms again "I hope that after tonight I will never see you again!"
"And you're still the same proud as ever..." Yuta sighed and lamented, "God knows I tried"
"Hey, you two! It's time for us to leave the room!" said Nobara in a loud voice, who had opened the sliding door to signal that they should leave.
"Besides, Geto just sent a message, he said he already has someone waiting for us outside the karaoke to take us to the hotel" Itadori moved his cell phone from one side to the other.
In short, Maki and Yuta had forgotten about those two.
Nobara and Itadori had answered the phone where they had been told to leave the room. Also, those two managed to hear a little of the discussion that Maki and Yuta had outside, but they decided not to intervene this time because first they wanted to investigate more about the relationship that those two had had.
Maki looked at the time on her cell phone, it was already past midnight "It looks like they already came for you "princesses""she said with a smirk as she went behind Yuta to enter the living room, take her things and leave.
Yuta was the first to enter and politely walked over to Nobara.
"Well, I guess our date just ended"
She sighed at those words.
"So it seems, and we were having such a good time" Nobara pouted as she picked up her purse.
At that moment, Yuta once again offered his arm to his date.
"Let's go, we will take you home or wherever you tell us to go" he said with a smile.
Nobara could not resist the invitation to take the arm of her favorite singer.
"Thank you, although it would have been fun to spend the whole night with the two of you"
"Maybe we could try it on a second outing, so we could try to stay together until dawn" replied the singer with a big smile as the two left the room arm in arm and headed for the elevator.
"I like the idea!" Nobara replied encouragingly.
Maki looked at those two. How they were getting along so well made her feel a little jealous, and at that moment she only wished she could be like Nobara. But for some reason her pride wouldn't let her.
Then she heard Yuta humming as he got on the elevator with her best friend.
Maki's hands went into the pockets of her jacket and once again, she felt that key ring, which she felt like throwing in the trash, but she simply left it in her pocket.
Maki and Itadori were the last to leave that Karaoke room, while Itadori closed that door, he dared to ask something that had caught his attention.
"Is everything all right, Maki san?" he asked, looking at her with a sympathetic expression.
"Why do you ask?" she questioned with disinterest.
"Why do you look so pensive, besides it seemed that you and Yuta were talking about something very serious out there on the balcony..." he replied as they both walked to the elevator doors.
Maki sighed. She knew they were both drawing too much attention and their friends could tell.
"Everything is fine" she shrugged as the elevator doors opened once again –"Maybe I'm just realizing that I'm the problema" -She said stepping into the elevator.
Those words confused Itadori, but he decided not to inquire further on the subject.
And just as he had told Nobara in the arcade, they were both going to see how things progressed between their friends before intervening if necessary.
Around two o'clock in the morning.
Both girls had been taken by Yuta and Itadori to the apartment where Nobara lived, because Maki was going to spend the night there.
The farewell was given with the hope of going out again on another occasion, perhaps when Itadori would return from his vacation as he would go to visit his relatives in Sendai, and Yuta would also take a few days to rest from the artistic world.
Farewell hugs were not lacking, as well as kisses on the cheeks, although the longing for a kiss on the lips was reflected in those nervous smiles between the redhead and one of those two boys.
Instead, Maki said a curt goodbye to both of them. Especially with Yuta. Although inside, she still longed for his lips, which, that night she was about to kiss again, but still let the opportunity slip away, making her regret a little because of the way she was, and more that she thought it would be the last time she would see him.
"What a night!" Nobara said with such joy as she finished getting ready for bed, "It's been one of the best nights of my life!" she finished massaging her cheeks and forehead.
Both girls changed into their pajamas and Nobara proceeded to remove her makeup, brush her teeth and do her pre-bedtime skincare routine.
Instead, Maki just took off her make-up, put on her pajamas, brushed her teeth, took off her glasses and combed her hair, to simply turn off the lamp next to her and lay quietly on her friend's bed, covering herself with the sheets.
Nobara crawled into her bed.
At that moment, the room was slightly illuminated by her moon-shaped night lamp, which she loved so much.
Nobara turned to look at her friend, who had barely closed her eyes.
"Thank you so much for coming with me on this night out Maki san, you are a great friend!" said Nobara with so much happiness that her voice sounded like a beautiful melody.
Maki's eyes widened at such words. She even blinked a couple of times. -
"Do you really think I'm a good friend?" she asked with a touch of sadness in her voice.
"Of course you are! You're a great friend and a great girl!"
"Thank you... I guess" Maki's voice sounded muffled. She didn't feel like she was really that girl Nobara was describing.
"Maki, is something wrong? Did I say something wrong?" Nobara asked noticing the discouragement in Maki's voice.
Maki sighed and looked up at the ceiling.
"It's just that right now I don't feel like the "girl" you describe. I feel like I'm the "villain" in the story"
"I suppose you mean Yuta, don't you?" asked Nobara without taking her eyes off her.
Maki rolled her eyes, clicking her tongue when she heard that name. –"Tsk, I don't want anything more to do with that idiot!" she brought her arm to her forehead.
Nobara sighed and sat up for a moment to look at her friend, who was still lying next to her.
"Maki, I really don't know what else has happened between you two in the past to make you both get along like "cats and dogs" every time you see each other. Believe me I have noticed it, but also my intuition tells me that "something else" happened between you two and if you still don't feel ready to tell me that's ok, whenever you want to tell me I will be ready to listen to you and help you solve this problem with Yuta" she looked at her friend with a smile.
Maki sighed, "Thank you and you are right," she said without taking her arm off her forehead. "Maybe another day I'll tell you everything that happened between him and me," she stared at Nobara. –"But even so, I must confess that lately, I feel like I don't fit in with you two, I feel that you and Okkotsu get along wonderfully and I'm starting to feel like I'm apart" -she said in a sad tone. - "I feel like I'm "a problem" in something that I don't even know where to begin to fix"
Nobara pushed a lock of her short hair back behind her ear. "My grandmother would say that if you feel like you are the problem, then that means you ARE the problema"
Maki twisted her mouth at such words.
Nobara continued speaking, "You know Maki?, I know that not everything is possible in this life, among those things I know that not all of us can get along with people from our past. And if you tell me right now that you feel uncomfortable with his presence, then we will never go out with Yuta again she sigh.
"I say this because the last thing I want is for my favorite singer not to get along with my best friend, and if things are like that, you know I will always choose you over everyone"
Maki sighed at those words. A part of her felt guilty that, because of her attitude, Nobara could no longer be close to that singer she knew she loved, she felt it was like stealing her fortune when she was really "blessed" to be able to meet her favorite artist and that he treated her so well, to the point of even going out together, and that was an opportunity that not everyone could have.
"I appreciate that you want to be with me, but you don't have to give up the idea of being the luckiest girl in the world, who, is starting to date the artist of the moment just for me"- Maki stared at her and let the air out as her shoulders dropped a bit even while lying down – "Maybe what brings me like this, is that I feel that I still find it hard to believe that someone from my past came back this way, although Mai named it as if it was a "Karma" that I'm receiving for everything I did to Yuta when we were young "- she sat up and put her hands around her knees.- "I just feel confused"
"I understand, well I think you could show that you have changed. We all did stupid things in our adolescence, but now we can show that we have matured. I really don't think you are a bad person, Maki san" said Nobara with a smile.
"Besides, they say that actions speak louder than words, so just show Yuta why you are now a much better person than your past version. Besides, "Karma" doesn't exist or that's what my grandmother always said, so stop getting all worked up over something like that"
Maki smiled a little at those words.
"Thank you. I guess I just have to prove that this "problem" is no longer the same. Is a better and bigger one"
Nobara again went to bed and went back to sleep, "You're welcome and don't doubt that I will always support you in everything you decide and do," she smiled, "And more because you are my best friend and I know that the Maki from high school is already gone and in her place the adult Maki is one of the nicest and most adorable women I have ever met and by the way, she is able to help others no matter what. Don't worry, the next time we meet Yuta, try to talk to him calmly and show him that you are no longer the bullying he knew. But if after tonight, you tell me that you will still feel uncomfortable with his presence or you really feel that it's a hopeless case to fix things between him and you and that you really won't get along with him, don't hesitate to tell me and I promise that we will never see him again"
Maki smiled at those words as she went back to bed. She was truly grateful to have such a friend.
"Really, thank you very much for everything Nobara…" said Maki, feeling that her voice was going to break.
"I told you, there's nothing to thank me for" she began to close her eyes from exhaustion, "Now let's rest.."
"Yes, good night Nobara"
"Good evening Maki"
Demonstrating is sometimes more complicated than just saying it.
"But Karma doesn't really exist, does it?" that question went around the Maki's mind before her eyes were closing due to fatigue.
What Maki didn't know is that Karma exists, and sometimes it comes to change us and test us in the least expected way.
In the next chapter...
"Maki san, if you don't get more customers and your income doesn't go up in a minimum of three months, be sure that you will go bankrupt in less than a year" said Megumi seriously looking at the papers that Maki had given his with all the expenses incurred in the last few months.
[...]
"Yes well, It's me, hi, I'm the problem it's me!" commented Maki with a smile and then stuck out her tongue.
[...]
"So from now on I guess you'll be "Miss troublemaker" Yuta commented with a slight laugh.
[...]
"Well, let's have some fun while your carriage comes for you "princess" said Maki with a big smile. She was ready to put Yuta to the test in her gym and waved her long bamboo stick "Let's train!"
[...]
Maki was in her zone, she had Yuta cornered against the floor of that boxing ring, demonstrating with a big smile why she was the best at what she did.
But seeing him drenched in sweat and with his stupid grin only made her heart want to burst out of her chest and her breath want to be cut off.
For a strange reason, she felt lucky.
At the time, she could boast that she had the singer of the moment in her gym and incidentally at her mercy.
Both were very close to each other, as Maki did not want to let go of this singer's shirt while Yuta was still lying in that ring and she was next to him, leaning on her knees and with her fist in the air.
She could have simply slammed a punch against Yuta's face, but what she would do next would mark the beginning of her penance.
Maki's lips finally touched Yuta's.
Notes:
I hope you liked it ❤️
And tell me what do you think of this story?
What's coming in the next chapters will be a bit hot. Especially because Maki's role will be reversed. Because they say that Karma can come in unexpected ways.
And more than Maki will have to make a decision if he wants to continue to have a good life.
As I said, this chapter is dedicated to my best friend Luciel, the one who after I told her about some things that were affecting me in general, she advised me and told me "Why don't you write it down? It's time to get this feeling out of you and put it into what you do best, writing."
Above all, because as they say, disappointments, love, loss and other feelings and situations of our daily life, can serve as inspiration and sometimes, we must take advantage of those brushstrokes of inspiration and capture them. For something, the world is full of books and songs that express thousands of feelings.
Also, that Luciel's words gave me comfort ❤️
Just as I also said that this is dedicated to that girl, whom I considered a friend.
The one who suddenly stopped talking to me out of the blue and even seemed to convince others to stop following me.
I'll be honest, what makes me feel bad about this situation is that as I said, I was beginning to consider this girl as a friend and more of this ship of which there is almost no material in Spanish.
And just like Yuta said, this situation makes me think: Did I do something? Did I not support her as I should have? Did I do something that could have offended her? Or something like that? If so, I ask for an apology, because I am human and by the way, I am a girl who knows how to ask for forgiveness when it is required or when I know I did something wrong or when others are sincere and tell me where I was wrong or where I hurt them. If that had been the case.
And not only to her I apologize, but to all of you who read me, in case I have ever offended you or said something wrong.
Anyway, life goes on and better people and friends will come later ❤️✨️
We keep reading 💕
