"So another fight broke out."

Senshi listened to what Shingai was saying to all of Senzai Squad.

He had managed to make it out of the tall buildings without being seen by an opposing Sniper.

With only a limited number of places to go, he had chosen to move to the inner part of the map. The inner plaza where Attackers were at their best.

Archer: "It seems Taiyōko and Obishima are fighting each other while their respective Snipers are providing support. Besides my initial shot, I have not fired any other one, but I do think at least the Kotowari Squad members are wary of my presence."

"…"

Archer: "What would you like for me to do here?"

They both knew she was only asking out of courtesy.

SenSen: "Hunting is your territory. I'll leave the decision up to you. I'm at the inner plaza, so it's up to you on what you should do."

Archer: "Understood. In that case, I will stay here and try to earn us some points."

Sthé-chan: "What about me!? Who should I go with!?"

That was a good enough question to make Senshi stop for a moment and think about it.

But the reason he had stopped was not for that but instead because of something else. Something that was already towards his face and chest.

.

A laser-like beam tore through the air from the right and the left of the open plaza. Each one seemed to have speed that rivaled a speeding car while the power was that of Asteroid instead of the weaker ones like Hound or Viper.

There were not trees or stalls to get in the way of the beams and nothing that could hide them or the heated noise that came from them.

Putting up a defense was never an option when it came to the beams. A Shield, even if concentrated, would be worn down in no time and Escudo would have a hole torn into it in a matter of moments.

Even while not having experience fighting against the attack, Senshi knew well that it was best to dodge the attack or counterattack instead of defend against it. That was why it was not strange when he disappeared with a sudden sound and a flash.

When his feet touched the ground again after his teleport the heated sound could be heard moving again. This time the attacks from the left and the right moved along a different line that went side-to-side instead of directly forward.

With the laser beam blade moving to cut through everything else to reach him, Senshi placed a blue plate on the ground and multiple into the air.

Stepping on the blue plate on the ground sent him into the air. The heated noise followed.

The set path of the blue plate in the air sent him higher and higher into the air, the heated noise following the whole time.

Each time he had finished bouncing up because of Grasshopper the blue plates would begin to fade away before being shattered by the heated noise of the left and right laser-like beams. Blue shards scattered in the air as the warrior climbed higher.

Once he had reached the peak of the blues plates he turned his attention towards the ground. A sudden sound could be heard in the air as Senshi disappeared again, this time touching the ground a moment later.

This was the chance he would take.

Even if those beams tore through everything and moved every whichaway, it still took them time to move and correct their movement. With them being so high in the air it would give him a few seconds to move away and towards the locations of where they were coming from.

"!?"

The left and right beams continued to hang in the air for a moment before disappearing altogether.

To take their place, another heated noise came from directly ahead. The noise was created by another beam that was on a direct course to Senshi.

.

Takeshi fixed his scarf as he sat on the ground near the outer area of the main plaza. Around him were the tall buildings of the middle area of the map, glass and reflections showing multiple angles.

From where he sat he could see five major vantage points. The first three were of the main plaza's center, far right side and far left side. The last two were of the inner part of the middle area of the map.

These points showed him where he could fire, but at a cost. These major vintage points were near the edge of one of the tall buildings, meaning he could not properly see the other side of the building. It was a major blind spot that he would have to deal with if he continued this fight.

Some of the trion orbs created for his specialized firing had been spread out around the border between the main plaza and the tall buildings. Controlling the ones that were farther away was difficult, but they were not meant to be moved in the first place, so it seemed fine to him.

His attack had worked well enough with Senshi having to face a head-on collision with one of his beams.

The left and right beams had been a way to confuse the opponent so that they would not think about where Takeshi could be attacking and would focus more on the actual attack instead. From there it would be easy to determine how he would move and control one of the other trion orbs to attack.

I'm spreading myself kind of thin here... The more I make and fire, the more trion I have to use up. Even so...

He could not face anyone head-on anymore.

Attacking like this was the only way he would be able to keep up with the top tier agents.

Unlike his teammates, he did not have the fighting abilities to get closer, have the defensive abilities to always be protected, or have the ability to adapt well to the battlefield or the opponents. Strategy was his only ability, but even that seemed to be lacking when compared to the others on the battlefield.

He lifted his scarf to cover his mouth as he looked back to the reflection of the center of the main plaza.

I'm not the weakest here, but I tend to go after the strong ones for some reason.

It would have been nice to take out Senshi here while he could and it would have been nice if it was Ōji who was taken out instead. Kurauchi had been taken out by Toby, but he was not the only capable one on Ōji Squad and most certainly not the only capable fighter in this match.

Yuba-san, Tonooka-senpai, Ōji-san, Shingai-san, and Senzai-san here. Each squad has two major players with their third being someone any of us can handle. Ōji Squad has one taken out, so that leaves one more. Suzume-senpai and Hoshi are keeping one of Yuba Squad's in place and I have one of Senzai Squad's in place here. So all we need to do is...

Takeshi's thoughts stopped.

The reason for this was simple: something completely strange happened.

.

The attack he had fired had missed in the most strange of ways.

The left and right beams were meant to determine how Senshi would move and then he would respond accordingly to that. That had been why he fired the beam from directly in front of Senshi once he landed from his teleport.

What he had not expected was for Senshi to fall to the ground and begin rolling.

What was strange was the way it happened.

It had not been a simple tuck and roll that people would take to move out of the way. If that had been the case then Takeshi would be able to correct his aim, even if it would take a moment. This type of fall was as if he had tripped on something then could not regain his balance and began to spin.

His expression was that of someone who found nothing to be wrong, but he did not react in a way like he had done it on purpose. It seemed to be an accident that had just so happened to move him away from the oncoming beam right before it would hit him.

A strange and unprepared for accident meant that Takeshi could not correct his aim, so the beam with a heated noise tore through empty air before crashing into and destroying a tree.

What was that...!?

He knew the answer, but he did not want to believe it.

Senzai Squad was known for the two strange Side Effects it had on it's captain and Sniper. The captain had been known for his incredibly bad luck while their Sniper had been known for her incredibly good luck. Determining how those would affect something like a fight was nearly impossible due to the sheer fact that everything became random when around them. All anyone could know was that something bad would happen near Senshi and something good would happen around Shingai.

Normally, tripping, falling, and being sent rolling along the ground would most certainly be considered "bad", but Takeshi witnessed firsthand how it could be changed to "good" as he stopped his attack on the tree.

Another way it could be viewed as "good" was the way it had placed it outside of the view of the reflections that Takeshi was looking at.

To finish the reasoning for why something this "bad" could be considered "good", it did what would be considered "terrible" for any combatant in a multiple squad match - it brought the fighters to a single point.

The way he had done so was by forcing the two remaining Ōji Squad members to round the corner of the building in front him and the Senzai Captain appearing from behind the building he was using for the reflection.

"Sensen and Take spotted!"

"Oh, this really is my bad luck isn't it?"

"..."

Takeshi said nothing as he removed his Bagworm and stood up.

Ōji and Kashio were coming from the left and Senshi was coming from the right. The irony of this pincer attack was not lost on him as he moved to the right.

With his position being on the edge of the building he managed to round the corner and perform a quick Teleport toward the main plaza.

The moment he landed from the teleport he saw multiple shots moving towards his direction.

Yet more irony that he felt was deserved at this point.

In retaliation to the shots, he fired using one of the trion orbs placed beforehand. It came from nearby and horizontally collided and tore through the shots fired with a heated noise.

How should I do this...?

Using the trion orbs placed beforehand would use up the trion faster and they were harder to control, but they also cover multiple angles that his opponents did not know about.

Using new trion orbs created near him were easy to control and the trion management could be fixed just as easily, but the attacks from them would be obvious to his opponents.

Both options were good in their own way and bad in their own way. All that was left was to decide on which one.

Ōji: "Kasio, make sure you keep track of Take. His teleporting isn't as good as that damn fox, but it can still let him escape. SenSen can do it too, but he needs to move in to attack. So make sure he doesn't run away."

Kasio: "Understood!"

.

Takeshi could feel his hand begin to move towards his scarf once more. It had become a habit for him to hide himself when something did not sit right with him.

The command made by Ōji was one of those things.

He was not sure why it bothered him, but it did, and his hand moved in reaction to that command. It was the truth that he could use Teleport and that he was better at it than Senshi, but...

I won't run away.

He forced his arm to stop moving as a trion orb appeared around his head.

You think I would run away?

Another trion orb appeared, maxing out the amount he could create at once without draining his trion too much.

The place I'm headed for is the start of a different battlefield. Over a great amount of time and with the help of other people.

Trailing behind the others, but that can change. I will make sure I change it.

The two opposing squads began their attacks. The two Ōji Squad members moved forward while the Senzai Squad Captain moved to the side.

Even if I start racking up loss after loss, just once... Once more, to reach that person...

He did not fire from the two trion orbs by his head or the trion orbs scattered around the battlefield.

He ran forward, right into the oncoming attacks.

Our goal is simple and selfish. And it's easily viewed as childish and clingy by everyone else. Even so...

The two orbs floating around his head began to move around and lower themselves until they were floating above the back of his two hands.

I'll make sure we reach that point. The point where we can stop being so simple, selfish, childish, and clingy.

The distance between him and the two Ōji Squad members had decreased significantly.

He saw his own attack come with the movement of his hands.

Using his hands had always felt right and gave him better control of direction, so it was no wonder he chose to use those to begin his attack.

Like the other attack he had done, laser-like beams tore through the air with a heated noise. The difference this time was clear and even Takeshi was unsure as to what he was doing.

As he moved his hands, the heated noise filled the space, but it did not feel as if leaser-like beams were attacking.

Instead, with the movement of the arms and hand, it was more fitting to say that two blades were moving to cut them down.

Grumpy Cat: "That guy..."

Torimaru: "You really have issues with the Kotowari boys, don't you?"

Grumpy Cat: "I have my reasons. But I won't let that be the basis for my words here."

Torimaru: "Is that so...?"

Yoneya gave a hum when he saw Lukas fix his glasses. From the side he could tell that Karasuma was paying close attention to the match as well, but it was likely for a different reason than the glasses-boy.

He had no problem with any member of Kotowari Squad himself, so he felt that he was best to start any talk about them. That seemed to be what the other two thought as well since the next words had not been for them and instead as a general statement.

Grumpy Cat: "The match has taken another interesting turn here. Yuba is still trying to catch up to the others while the mutt seems to be on a rest period. Besides those two, Kazuaki and Senshi were the ones who probably held the power to change the outcome of some of these battles. The two of them are now engaged in combat with each other, Yutaka-kun and...that guy. Like the previous fight, this one looks like it can change the tide of the match depending on who remains."

Torimaru: "To a lesser extent, the other ongoing fight can do the same thing. Tono is good when it comes to waiting for the right moment to snipe while Suzu-chan has her own way of doing things. If either one of them makes it through that fight then they can take out an opponent without being taken out. Likewise, Taiyōko and Obishima can provide nice support for their squads if they make it through with minimum damage."

Yoneya did not miss the underlining words the two next to him were trying not to say. It felt very much like they were waiting on him to bring up some facts that they felt unqualified to say.

Spear Idiot: "I doubt it will be easy for either side though."

He would not give them that luxury.

Spear Idiot: "Shingai is nearby, but that doesn't mean she will be fighting there too. If Sthénos goes to help her, it would just put the fight there in a sort of stalemate. Instead of taking a chance going against people like Tonooka or Suzume-chan, they will likely go after one of the other two who don't have anyone to fight right now."

He could see the small glare he was receiving from Lukas while Karasuma's brows lowered a bit to his other side.

There was no reason for him not to help them, but it did not mean he would make things easy for them.

If you guys want to talk about it, then you bring it up yourself.

There was a smug feeling that began to bubble up with the looks he was getting.

Karasuma seemed complacent with the results of their failed attempt with the way he lowered his shoulders to speak.

Torimaru: "Awdry would be a bad choice for them. Even if Shingai has her good luck and Sthénos usually gets close to attack, they are still a Sniper and Shooter respectively."

Grumpy Cat: "Which means they will be going after Yuba..."

Spear Idiot: "So let's see how that goes exactly!"

Yuba noticed himself getting distracted too much during the match.

It had only been a few hours since he had seen the monster of a woman hold Jin hostage, overwhelm Kanzaki, and beat down Mei, all with little effort, before leaving as if she had only come by for some fun.

Fujimaru had also seemed to be thinking about that as well before the match, but she was still managing her job here just fine. That meant he was seeing it in a different light than she was, but...

I can't be blamed for that. Kanzaki is one thing, but Jin and Takato... That woman being able to move so freely is terrifying if she managed what she did in a short amount of time.

The others who had seen the scene had their own thoughts on the matter, but the ones who were combatants like him understood just what the scene meant for them. The sight of seeing two strong fighters pushed back and pushed down like nothing while someone like Jin allowed for it to happen without taking any action.

If it did not leave some kind of mark on him it would have felt like he was not even human anymore. The fact he continued to think about it helped him reconfirm that he was indeed like the others who had watched the scene and was not like the woman who was now somewhere else, doing as she pleased.

A person who could leave such a mark from only moments was not someone he felt he could just overlook. Even so, there was something he still needed to do right now. That was...

"Aha! I found him! I found Yubaba!"

.

Yuba's hands instantly went to the guns at his side as the pink haired girl moved forward.

The monster he had seen hours earlier was of importance, but that was not what he should have focused on. There were others who were strong that were directly in front of him because of this match.

One of them had already beaten one of his former teammates and was still fine enough too continue in this match.

Another one was...

Like I'm going to fall for that!

Because of his instincts he had been ready to fire at the girl in front of him, but that had not been the threat he needed to focus on. The one who had been the one to fire at was nowhere to be seen.

The reason for that was simple.

This girl has little combat abilities here.

Senzai Squad had rarely fought against Yuba, but that did not mean there were no logs to go off of. From those logs he had been able to see how Senzai Squad functioned and realized exactly what they were like.

Senzai and Shingai are the real dangerous ones. This girl is nothing if she can't get close to you.

The irony of that fact was not lost on him as he knew that Sthénos was a Shooter. Unlike normal Shooters, she tended to get close to the target before firing any shots. It gave the opponent some time to react, but it was always pointless since it meant their focus was on her instead of the ones who were truly dangerous here.

He had gotten confirmation that Senzai had begun fighting elsewhere, so that meant only one thing.

Shingai was nearby.

"!"

True to his thoughts, a shot came from far off instead of directly in front of him.

It had hit the ground as Yuba performed what could only be described as a sliding turn.

If I had tried to attack that girl, Shingai would have gotten me. My hands even reacted to her instead of what I know. Her movement is fast enough to confuse others into thinking she is the main attacker, when in reality she is nothing more than a decoy who happens to attack. Since that's the case...

From experience he know what those kinds of people could be like and generally what movements they would make.

Fighting against Sthénos would be relatively pointless if not for the fact that she was not the main attacker in this situation. Her movements would be the key he needed for this fight.

With that in mind, he moved forward while readying himself for the fight.

.

The distance between Yuba and Sthénos shortened in an instant.

Cubes of trion began to load themselves along a small path from Sthénos' right and left starting from the bottom to the top. Two rotating wheels of trion cubes appeared on her sides as her hands twitched from within those wheels. The wheels expanded while also comparing into each other, creating a strange sight of a three dimensional wheel that Yuba was not too familiar with.

Even so, he moved forward. His own range was nothing great, but that was not where his strengths lied. That would have to be...

"!"

"-"

He began to lift his arms up to fire his first and likely last set of shots.

A normal human's vision would not have been able to keep up with the speed he used to begin firing. The quickest of people had a hard time as it was keeping up with him once he had gotten close enough or caught them off guard.

This was what he had built up over the many solo ranked matches he had gone through during his time in Border. A blinding speed with power behind it that was enough for others found themselves unable to properly counter once the shots had been fired.

"!?"

Yet that blinding speed was not enough here.

The shot that came from the side was edged easily enough with a sliding turn, placing him to the opposite side of Sthénos that the shot had been fired.

Because of having to perform the sliding turn he was left with less time to fire his shots, yet he had managed to do it regardless. His target had been Sthénos, who was continuing forward while he had already fired from his point after the sliding turn.

If he fired at a speed that a person would not be able to react to in time while having just moved himself to a different spot then it was impossible for his shots to miss their target.

"Nyahaha!"

The laugh that came from the girl he had fired at came within the moment he had fired his shots that had blinding speed and amazing power to it.

Besides the speed from the shots, the power behind those shots would tear away from any defense that had been made in a haste for cover. Everything that came down to defending against him could not be pulled off by this small girl who could not even fight without one of her teammates nearby.

But...

"What!?"

His shots were canceled out.

The multiple shots he had fired never reached the small girl who was still moving forward.

Small popping sounds could be heard as the shots from the three dimensional wheel collided with the shots he had fired.

The girl herself moved forward one more step before turning and moving her arms. While one arm flew above her head, the other was moved out to the side.

The three dimensional wheels followed along that path as he was forced to the side before being sent in his direction.

He readied himself to fire another round of shots when a distance shot came. It was not from the three dimensional wheels but from a great distance that had not been fired from a moment ago.

The unseeable girl who had fired on him before had already moved across the map to a location that had to be several meters away so that she could fire at him. It was highly likely that she had already moved another few meters after having fired that shot.

The shot itself had not been meant to hit him since there were not holes through any part of his body. Instead, it seemed to be to stop him for a single moment since it had crossed a path that was in front of his moving arm.

"These two...!"

The shots from the three dimensional wheel had been fired already and there was no time to fire back. That meant he needed to put up a shield of his own.

The shots crashed into the shield while he moved to the side, making sure not to stay within her line of fire.

Something had been wrong.

From the very start there had been something wrong with the fight he found himself currently in. The two girls should have been aware of who they were fighting and what the outcome could be, so why had they come directly to him?

It should have been obvious from the start, but Yuba had found himself wondering about a monster he had not been able to do anything against. The monster that had taken down power opponents as if it was nothing. The lingering thoughts from the had stopped him from seeing what was wrong.

It was more than just a feeling and more than simply just luck from one of the girls. It was a key fact that he knew about yet did not take into account.

What was wrong had been him.

His shots had been fired perfectly. His sliding turn had been performed without issue. His strategy to attack the one he could not see was ideal.

But he had been completely wrong.

The assumption that he could win due to his firing speed and power, along with his own speed, had been wrong to the point that it had almost cost him this fight.

While it was true that the speed at which he fired was something that people normally cannot keep up with, there was still the chance that there was someone who could see it happen. Jin had his foresight, Mei had her calculations, and he was at least aware of some people who had similar Side Effects. Those people would have been able to see what was coming and react in time, if barely.

Even if he had prepared for that, it would have been wrong.

The girl in front of him had never once stopped moving forward. Her sights had not been on him but what was in front of her.

Contrary to that, the three dimensional wheels on her sides were fired in any place that was not in front of her. They followed a path that she could not see but one that existed only to lead to him.

She had a counter to him.

The girl who he could not see had luck on her side, but even that would not have been enough.

She too had a counter.

Unlike her teammate, her counter to him was not something as special or intricate. It was so simple that he had not even thought about it even after hearing about it a few times already.

She was a hunter.

Grumpy Cat:"It looks like we were right on the mark with this one. Ite-san and Sthé-chan have gone after Yuba and are now engaging him in battle."

Spear Idiot: "How did they deal with his firing though? As far as I know, Sthé-chan doesn't have much in the way of knowing what will happen like Jin or Mei-san. The way she went about that was timed perfectly. The same could be said for Shingai."

Karasuma thought through his words before he said anything out loud.

He had only been told the general information about Senzai Squad before and he had not been able to ask any questions.

From what he knew, it would not have been too much of a problem for Sthénos to know what to do. Everything that made up the being known as "Sthénos" was made from trion after all.

She was a Trion Soldier.

It could have been viewed as cheating, but he did not think that should be the case since she was fighting, using a Border issued Trigger and did nothing that a normal person would not do.

Besides the stripping... Then again, Kirikari-senpai also does that.

The number of strippers in Border was a bit concerning, but it was not something he should have been thinking about at the moment.

She can probably tell that he will be firing only moments before he does it. Even then though, it would not mean she should be able to react in time, unless...

Torimaru: "Those are fake."

Lukas and Yoneya turned to him as soon as the words escaped his mouth.

It had been an accident, but now he had no choice but to make something up in order to explain himself.

Torimaru: "The shots Sthénos makes next to her... She left some behind and had likely preset them to fire in that direction."

Spear Idiot: "While she isn't really weak, do you really think she could manage something like that?"

She doesn't have a human brain, so it's possible.

He could not say that, so something else came out instead.

Torimaru: "She could have spoken to Shingai about this. I mean, if you could pull off a sliding turn like that, wouldn't you want to have something in the way in case of sniper fire again? They could have planned for him to move in that direction before he could fire and then fire their shots at him."

Spear Idiot: "When you put it like that... If Shingai thought that up then it would make more sense."

Grumpy Cat: "Hm? Because of her luck?"

Karasuma shook his head while still facing the screen.

His expression did not change as he gave the simple reasoning for this to even be possible.

Torimaru: "She is a hunter."

Shingai only felt calm.

This entire map was nothing more than a large hunting ground.

Using her specially made Trigger that consisted of a bow that fired arrows of trion was forbidden during these Rank Wars, but that didn't deter her in the slightest. She had trained long enough with Lightning and Egret to where the difference between using those and the bow were not as major as they had once been.

While she had Grasshopper in one of her Trigger slots, her natural speed was nothing to look down on. Her top speed was hard enough to keep up with after all. That made moving from place to place after firing easy as well.

There were many reasons for her to feel calm in this large hunting ground.

She looked towards her target with a steady hand and predicted how the fight would turn out.

Yuba was skilled enough to make it to the top tier of B-Ranks alongside his squad, so she did not feel bad in the slightest for using Sthénos' Trion Soldier abilities for minor things like timing. Against opponents like these it was necessary to take as many precautions as possible and this was just one of them.

Even if she did not have Sthénos' abilities to fall back on, she was certain that she could get some shots in on the man.

Her good luck was also a factor in this. She hated to think it had much to do with this, but even the small things worked well. The fact Yuba moved exactly where she thought he would could also fall under her good luck.

And yet...

My luck will never affect my shots. I refuse to allow it to do so.

.

I have my pride as a hunter when I am in battle.

She had done a lot of hunting before and understood that timing was very important. It was due to this that she prepared for the exit moments she needed during matches.

She had used the right timing to hold back Yuba from firing for a moment. She had used the right timing to force him to perform a sliding turn. She had used the right timing to fire a followup shot.

It came down to timing for her.

Hunting meant that she needed to be patient, what out the target, and fire at the right moment. That had been the reason for her calm.

Remaining calm was something everyone should have been able to do if they were prepared to get into a fight.

This was nothing new to her and her pride would not allow her to say that her good luck had a part in her hunting.

She cherished and protected children as best as she could, but her pride would always be remaining in her hunt. Her speed, her timing, her shots fired, her ability to shoot, her entire being during those hunts. That was her pride that she would not allow luck to tarnish.

The pride she felt towards her hunting had her remaining calm and collected as she watched Yuba try to escape.

When it comes to hunting, there are two types of hunters.

Setting her aim on the man, she timed the pulling of the trigger, the movements on his feet, the way Sthénos moved and fired, and where they would end up.

The first type are those who enjoy the fun of a perfect kill while never being detected.

She was amazed at the way Yuba was able to determine the situation so quickly. She was waiting for the right moment, but he was making sure that she would get that moment.

His footwork changed a bit each time as he moved away from Sthénos. It seemed that he had chosen to not fire until a shot had been fired at him.

The way Sthénos fired her shots required her to be close to her opponent. The distance was considered extremely dangerous for any Shooter and only Attacker would reach that area, but she would continue to move in as if she had a blade in her hand instead of two three dimensional wheels at her sides.

Yuba was using that to maintain a certain amount of distance from her the entire time. A distance that was just outside of her firing range but close enough to keep Shingai from firing.

The second type are those who enjoy playing with their prey and watching them suffer as they are taken out.

She had always found the second type to be cruel in the case of animals and a bit demented in the case of humans.

If I was pressed to say so, I would say that I am the former. Yuba Squad also has one of those people in Tonooka. That is why I am certain that he will not intervene here.

He had likely been helping the fighting Obishima and could not reach his captain.

With both of them being on the same side of things, she understood the amount of time she would have before she would have to deal with more opponents.

This was the perfect chance to take out Yuba. To get the perfect kill she enjoyed when hunting.

Since this seems to be the case...

She let out a breath through her nose and set her aim for a different location.

Archer: "Sthénos, I hate for this to go on too long. For both our squad as well as Yuba-san. I will start being more offensive now."

Sthé-chan: "Oh, oh!? I got it! Just go crazy and I'll make sure to catch up when it's important!"

She could only smile as her finger pulled the trigger.

What a kind girl.

At the same time she fired she could see the three dimensional wheels on the ground twist and turn before flying off to the side. They moved away from Yuba and smashed into the building they were next to.

Shingai was placed within the tall buildings where the Snipers ruled the battlefield. From her position she had been able to see the border where the tall buildings stopped and the short buildings began. A place where Shooters and Gunners had the advantage.

She would not dare go near that border, but that had not been her plan.

Her shot had hit one of the windows of the tall buildings that touched that border. It had been followed by the shots from the three dimensional wheel, destroying multiple windows in the process.

The false glass that had shattered began to rain down on the battlefield where Yuba and Sthénos were.

Because of human's self preservation, Yuba made a shield to block the falling glass from hitting him, using up a Trigger slot.

He knew that the glass would not matter when fighting in that body, but he still went and defended himself. A perfect example of a human.

This hunt was not one to take out a wild animal or even an escaping one. This hunt was for a single point that would help Senzai Squad in a match between humans.

Sthénos did not defend herself due to her condition of being a non-human. It had been for that reason that Shingai resolved herself to take this hunt to the next level and make it be between two humans.

"Now we shall see which one of us wins here."
