...Another one has shown up.
Conflicting information continued to form in the sea of numbers that filled his mind.
At some point the sea of numbers and the flood of memories had turned into a full storm inside of him. Organizing the information he had became difficult as he continued to go deeper in the extra information he had found in the cores he had taken in.
The smaller two had been easy enough to separate. Their data could be understood and placed in proper locations within his own core. There had been some errors, but he had managed to get through them and incorporate them into his being.
It had been the third one that was handed to him that caused an issue.
...To think that something living this long could survive in Mikado City's underground.
The descriptions of it had been that of a large, black dragon. In reality, it was a black Autonomous Trion Soldier that had been shaped into a dragon over time. The original form of it had been shown only to Pyrínas as he went through the data from its core.
The memories, experience, and past that lay in that single core overtook his own by many years. Even if he added Yuki's copy and Giev's data they would not be able to come close to 50% of this single core's past. Even going back through it all meant that he would be shut down for a week at the least.
...But what am I supposed to do then? ...I need to go through all of this information before I can properly activate myself.
There was also the problem with his body and the amount of trion he could store.
Going through the cores for information had been more than just to support Border and Miden. It had been his way of respecting each one of them after having taken their core.
But the remaining trion they contained was a different matter.
...Each one of them had not actually had their cores destroyed. ...They had been protected the entire time while their physical bodies had been the things destroyed. ...I only came in and took in their cores, meaning their trion was still in there.
It made him think about why they had not used their trion to reform their bodies, but each one of them seemed to have their own circumstance.
The copy of Yuki had already lost to the original. It saw no reason to remain working.
Giev had no longer had a mind of his own. The recovery process must have not been able to activate in their fight because of that.
Then there had been the black dragon Autonomous Trion Soldier.
...From what I could tell, it had its entire body destroyed by Kotowari Squad and given them its core. ...It had been waiting to be destroyed, so it makes sense that it would not begin any recovery process.
With their cores still intact the amount of trion they had was starting to overwhelm his body. The copy of Yuki and Giev had enough to push him to his limits, but the black dragon Autonomous Trion Soldier had much more than all three of them combined. Due to that he was overloading his capacity for everything.
...I managed to keep it at bay by enlarging my body to store it more, but this can't last too long. ...I would reach a point where I can no longer fit in a room.
At this point he had already reached the ceiling of the room and his storage for data was reaching max capacity. Any more and he would need to start deleting information.
Something he would forever be jealous of was how the human mind was able to store an unfathomable amount of information. Things would be able to be forgotten, but the human brain would never run out of room for new information. Walking proof of that was Border's Black Wolf.
A single unit system like himself would not be able to utilize something as complicated as the human brain. Creating something like that would be impossible for him and he was sure that no one would be able to artificially do so properly. The most they could accomplish would be a poor imitation. It was the difference between a manmade object like him and a natural existence like a human.
"...I suppose this leaves me with little choice."
He would have to go back to his roots and form a system of his own.
"...The reason the original system is able to function the way it does is because there are multiple parts running throughout it. ...No one piece is given more to do than another, so it works together to create a system that is able to handle as much as a human brain. ...But I don't have the resources to do such a thing. ...That means I need to take a different approach."
As he spoke to himself, Pyrínas began to shrink down.
"...If I am not able to withstand this mass amount of information and trion, I need others who are able to store parts of it into themselves while still being part of me."
The rhinoceros beetle he had sent out before was one such example. It had been sent out with the ability to think for itself while still being connected to him.
All that needed to be done was repeat that process.
The memory of Hisato visiting him came to mind.
Along with it was the mental image of the slime creature he had been holding onto.
"...For a long-lived person to not say anything... ...That is very careless. ...But, considering this is Earth, I actually see no problem with it."
So he chose to copy it.
...Yes. ...That "slime creature's" true nature is that of pure data and trion. ...In Earth terms it would be best described as a data entity that managed to take shape using trion. ...A being that has no core and can change itself to however it likes.
That would be exactly what he would create here.
Data entities that were made from the excess trion in his body.
...The only thing is how many should I make?
As a test run, he would create a single, small trion data entity and go from there.
"..."
There was something strange happening while he started this process.
Something had happened to his face. His lips had started to move without him knowing.
Pyrínas moved his hand to his lips to find that they were curved upwards.
"...This can be a good present to those children... ...Yes, I can use these trion data entities to better protect them all."
