AN: I Recommend listening to 'Little Wonder' by Rob Thomas when reading this chapter. It's the song I listened to when writing Oscar's trailer.

AN: I don't own RWBY or Red Hood.

TOSR Trailer Two

Oscar

AN: Enjoy

Seven year old Oscar woke up and dressed in his work clothes before grabbing 'Long Memory', placing it on his belt before walking out to do his chores. He fed the animals, milked the cows and goats, weeded the fields, picked whatever fruits and vegetables he could, all before lunch.

He ate lunch before he went outside and began to practice with 'Long Memory'. He practiced what he'd learned from the alternate Timeline. He lunged, parried, blocked, defended, swung, struck, stabbed, jabbed, and rolled out of the way. He trained this way for almost two hours before he was needed in the barn to help a mare birth a foal.

That night he went out and killed any Grimm that came around the farm. When he was finished, he trained with 'Long Memory' and his Semblance to hone his mind and body into a lethal weapon.

He would train like this until he felt ready.

When he was ten, he went into town and bought a weapons care kit along with some materials to modify 'Long Memory'. He also bought a Glock 20 with some 10 MM Dust rounds, and some regular 10 MM ammo. He'd need to practice.

When he'd gotten home, he set up a firing range away from the farmhouse in a valley between hills, making sure to put up a fence and signs stating that it was a firing range.

When he'd finished, he'd put on safety goggles and earplugs before setting up his targets and practicing... He wasn't very good and had gone through all the regular ammo he'd bought before hitting a single target.

This became part of his routine. He set aside an hour every day to practice with his new gun, and afterwards he'd maintain and clean his gun. He also maintained, cleaned, and modified 'Long Memory' so That when he met Ozpin again it wouldn't be a dead giveaway.

After two years of practice, he'd gotten good with his gun and decided to take it out on his nightly hunts. Thankfully he didn't need to rely on it but was definitely grateful when he ran into an Ursa Major. The training had helped, and the 10 MM rounds definitely helped. He'd alternated Gravity, Fire, Lightning, Earth, and Normal rounds giving him three of each, and he was glad that he'd bought two extra magazines. It took all three magazines and 'Long Memory' to take down the Ursa Major. He needed something extra.

One week, while in town he saw some new rounds, some in 10 MM, made by Todd Tech. It was a hollow point with an explosive end and had a slot for Dust. He bought some of the Dust variant and some of the normal rounds to see what they were like. He also stocked up on regular rounds for target practice.

When he went out to try the new rounds, he was surprised at how effective they were. He could drop an Ursa with a Magazine of the regular explosive hollow points. It took three magazines of the regular explosive hollow points to kill an Ursa Major. If he used the explosive Dust hollow points then it took one of, he aimed right, two if he didn't.

Once he was satisfied with his progress, he moved onto practical training like having a landing strategy, parkour, free running, wall crawling, and pick pocketing. Who knew when that would come in handy?

When he was fourteen, he planned out how to make it to Beacon Academy. He had to see an old friend.

He mapped out the entire trip and made three plans. One that would take him a year to get to Beacon, one that would take six months, and one that would take one month. He wanted to be as prepared as he could be.

On the day after his fifteenth birthday he left for Beacon, leaving his aunt a note telling her where he was going and that he hoped to see her again. After which he headed for Beacon. The trip took him one and a half months, but eventually he was standing in front of Beacon's gates.

It wouldn't be long now. Soon he would be meeting with Ozpin, soon he would meet the professor he'd shared a head with for a part of his life. He pushed open the gates and was met by a man wearing a black three piece suit with a green scarf. A pair of glasses sat on his nose, and he walked with a familiar looking cane.

"Hello; Oscar." The man said. "I am..."

"Hello Ozpin." Oscar Said. After having that voice in his head he'd recognize it anywhere.
