TOSR Trailer Two

Ruby

AN: Enjoy

A twelve-year-old Ruby ran into Todd Tech and found a thirteen-year-old Jason working on something.

"Jason!" She yelled. "I just started at Signal Academy, and I want to be able to stop some bullies, but I'm not sure how! Maybe if I give them a reason to step into line they will listen."

"Okay, how do you want to get them to step into line."

"I don't know. How would you get them to step into line?"

"I don't know. I know that you would kick them into a tree or something. I don't want to and can't do that."

"Then I would blackmail them into submission."

"How? What kind of Blackmail?"

"I'd dig up all their dirt and use it as necessary. If they peeped into a locker room, I would tell them to step into line or I would give the blackmail material to the authorities."

"That Sounds More my speed."

"Okay. I'll dig up the dirt of everyone at Signal, including Jaune, Yang, and I."

"Why you guys?"

"As a test, but before we do that, let's watch a movie."

"Okay! I'll grab snacks!" Ruby ran off.

She was back in a flash and placed food on Jason's workbench.

Jason turned on the T.V. Screen and pulled up a movie before reaching into his shadow and pulled a fourteen-year-old Weiss out of his shadow. "Hey babe. Want to have a movie night with Ruby and I?"

Weiss was surprised at the suddenness of being in Atlas one second, and Vale the next. "Sure." She said when she came to terms with it. "What movie?"

"The only movie that will teach Ruby how to become an Apex Predator." Jason smiled.

Weiss closed her eyes and Inhaled. "Jason, please tell me that you aren't going to watch Mean Girls to have Ruby learn how to be like them?"

"What? No. Don't be ridiculous. We're watching Mean Girls Because Ruby needs to learn how to be an Apex Predator and it's either that or Dark Claw: Under the Red Cloak.

"MEAN GIRLS! One of you is bad enough. I don't need to be keeping an eye on two of you!"

"Mean Girls it is." Jason Said.

"So, what was the point of watching this movie?" Ruby asked. "Why do you like this movie so much?"

"Cady is my spirit animal. When life gets hard, I ask myself: "What would Cady do?" And then I do the opposite."

"Why the opposite?"

"Because. She didn't push Regina in front of the bus. I would have."

"Regina was sixteen though."

"Since when has age ever stopped me from putting an asshole in their place?"

"That's true, but I have one more question."

"Only one?"

"One more that I can ask before I need to get home before curfew."

"Oh, right. Curfew is a thing. I forgot. What's your question."

"Why Mean Girls? I mean out of all the movies you could like, why this one?"

"Because he's a drama queen." Weiss explained.

"I may be a drama queen, but I'm your drama queen, which makes you my tranquil king." Jason said, fluttering his eyes in her direction.

Weiss Sighed and rolled her eyes before looking at Ruby. "This is what I have to put up with. I can't believe I'm married to this dork."

"Just so you know, when we get married in this timeline, because the court won't acknowledge a marriage from a different timeline apparently, I'm going to introduce you as my ex."

"Jason! That's a horrible way to tell people we're married."

"Good, you know your line."

Weiss groaned and covered her eyes.

"I'm going to go." Ruby said.

"Don't forget this!" Jason shouted, tossing her something.

"What is it?" Ruby asked when she caught it and looked at it.

"It's a Scroll." Jason explained. "It can only be unlocked by your or Weiss's fingerprint, and it's encrypted so that if anyone looks at it, they will only see the Directors cut of Mean Girls."

"Wait, seriously?"

"Yeah."

"Cool. Thanks." Ruby said before running off.

Jason and Weiss looked at each other.

"We're only teenagers." Weiss reminded.

"I forgot about that." Jason said. "You going to head back to Atlas?"

"Yeah. I have paperwork to catch up on."

"No, you don't. I had it filled out while we were watching the movie."

"Okay, then I have paperwork to go through and make sure you did it right. I'm sure that you did, but I want to make sure."

"Okay. Talk to you later."

"Talk to you later." Weiss said as she disappeared into her shadow, only letting go of Jason's hand when she was in Atlas again.
