A/N: And here we are with another new Chapter of this anthology. And it's perfect that I'm releasing this one today, because it's a very special day. As today, March 1st 2024, marks the 6th anniversary of when PotCFan101 first released "Andy and Nica: Dark Legends". Because of that, I like to call this day "Dark Legends Day"! Without that story, I never would've written my rewrite, "Dark Legends: Enter Gibb" and thus, this series of mine would never exist. Hail to that story and hail to Potsey!

Anyways, all that said, for this one, it'll be centered all around our favorite Exorcist, Demonologist, and Master- I mean, Petty Dabbler of the Dark Arts, alongside our favorite Devil. For the timeline, it'll take place immediately after the events of "Constantine" Season 1, and well before "Constantine vs Freddy".

(In Constantine's voice:) On with the show...

Now Playing: "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" by Green Day

Los Angeles, 2015

John Constantine casually strolled his way into the nightclub known as Lux, feeling a bit burnt out over recent events.

You see, for the past couple of months, he had been dealing with what was known as the Rising Darkness, an event orchestrated by an organization of warlocks called the Brujeria which threatened the end of mankind with demons and the forces of darkness.

The whole thing was warned to Constantine by an Angel named Manny. Except… it turned out that he was the one leading the Brujeria in the first bloody place!

And so, Constantine reluctantly sought the help of the voodoo priest known as Papa Midnite to stop the Brujeria once and for all, and send Manny to Hell where he belonged. Though after that, Midnite warned John that the next time he saw him, he was a dead man.

Now, Constantine was sodding tired and was in desperate need of a drink. And he figured the best place to get a drink right now after dealing with an evil Angel is, well, ironically, the City of Angels.

Lux in particular as this place was very popular in L.A. specifically due to the owner. But only Constantine knew of the owner's true nature.

At that moment, as John took a shot glass filled with whiskey at the bar, he looked around the nightclub to see a black-haired man in a suit, with a poorly shaved beard, playing the piano as a spotlight shined down on him.

John chuckled as the man was playing a rendition of "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" by Green Day, ironically on the "I walk alone" part of the song. Almost as if the bloke knew Constantine was here.

The man stopped playing and saw Constantine standing amongst the crowd.

"Always a pleasure to see you, Luci." John grinned.

The man, Lucifer Morningstar AKA the Devil Himself, formed a smirk of his own, and rose up from his piano and walked towards the exorcist.

"Johnny!" Lucifer said, chuckling. "I'd like to say it's a pleasure seeing you roaming around my club, it's not."

Constantine rolled his eyes.

"Well, let's just say I needed this after dealing with my own… celestial affairs, if you will."

And that last part piqued Lucifer's curiosity quite considerably.

"Oh really? Well, do spill out the details, as more likely than not, I'm not in them."

"Haha, very funny." Constantine said sarcastically, sipping on his drink before briefly explaining his situation, "To keep a long story short: I've been dealing with something called Rising Darkness for the past couple of months, orchestrated by some wankers calling themselves the Brujeria… who actually worked for one of your siblings."

"Who?" Lucifer inquired.

Constantine formed a grim expression before saying:

"Manny."

"Ah, yes. Him." Morningstar frowned. "Amenadiel's almost-twin. It's funny, he was one of Father's best soldiers, and yet completely turned his back against Him in a way that made my little rebellion seem quite childish. I'm very sure he's become one of Hell's Fallen by now."

"Funny you say that because he actually killed another one of your Fallen siblings himself, that being Imogen." John muttered.

"Yes, her too." Lucifer murmured. "She used to be quite the sweetheart, one of the only ones of my siblings that actually tolerated me, even after my fall."

Lucifer stared at the ceiling for about 30 seconds, reflecting on his Fallen brother, Manny. He remembered back in his rebellion against God that led to him being banished to Hell, Manny was one of the main ones that contributed to Morningstar's loss.

But then, about over millions of years later, Manny went into his own betrayal of God after he was corrupted by the First of the Fallen, Azazel.

Ugh… Azazel, the second oldest of Father's. Lucifer couldn't stand that sod. He bullied Lucifer a lot before he became a Fallen and was part of the reason Lucifer had left his job in Hell in the first place, as he went around using his name for cruel intentions.

So much so that his position was changed to the Second of the Fallen rather than the First, which was then given to Lucifer. And Morningstar hated that as it really added to his already bad rep both in Heaven and in the mortal realm.

And so, hearing about Azazel corrupting both Manny and especially Imogen, which would've been about 10 years ago after his son Mammon had been dealt with by a version of Constantine that looked more like he came from the bloody Matrix made Lucifer even more livid. Thus, among many other reasons, he had left his throne to stick it to Azazel.

"Yeah, trust me, if I had siblings, I'd be pissed too." Constantine told the Devil as if he was reading his mind.

"Oh, bloody Hell, I hate it when you do that." Lucifer grumbled, and John just chuckled.

"What's all the hubbub here?"

Constantine and Lucifer turned around to see a beautiful light-skinned walk towards the two of them. She wore dark leather clothes, and long brown hair.

The woman stared intensely at Constantine for what felt like an eternity. So much so that Lucifer started to whistle a melodic tune in the midst of all of it.

But then the silence broke when Constantine spoke up.

"And a g'day to you, Mazikeen."

"What are you doing here, John?" Mazikeen asked.

"Ah, you know, just having a chinwag with your boss here." John nonchalantly replied, taking another sip of his whiskey.

At that moment, Constantine observed Maze up and down, before forming a smirk on his face.

"Although, luv… I'm thinking you and I could have a bit of fun as-"

SMACK!

"Ow!" Constantine winced as Maze slapped his left cheek.

"Yeah, in your dreams, asshole." Maze said. "Only reason I even stand you is because of you getting me on this scrapyard in the first place."

"Please don't mind him, Maze." Lucifer commented. "It's just Constan-tyne being Constan-tyne."

"Constan-teen!" John corrected.

"Whatever." Maze muttered.

With that, Maze walked away from the scene with her hands on her hips.

"You know, you still owe me for helping you bring her down here." Constantine told Lucifer.

"Yes, I suppose I do."

"All because you wanted to retrieve your brother's necklace." Constantine mumbled. "Speaking of, had any recent run-ins with that feather-winged fucker?"

"I haven't, thank you very much." Lucifer replied, albeit very annoyed by John calling his brother that. "He's currently taking my place in Hell's throne whilst I enjoy my vacation."

"Hm, I bet he's having one Hell of a time. Pun completely intended." Constantine quipped, making Lucifer roll his eyes even more as they both sip on their drinks.

Just then, two unidentified men walked up to the bar and sat next to Constantine. One of them had blue eyes and black hair, and the other was dark-skinned with dreadlocks.

Constantine narrowed his eyes at the two whereas Morningstar stared at them with a curious grin on his face.

"What can I do for your gentlemen?"

"We'll have two glasses of whiskey, please." the black-haired man requested.

"They're both to go." the dark-skinned one added.

Lucifer continued staring at the two, before briefly glancing back at John, who appeared to be murmuring something under his breath.

"I'll see what I can do." Lucifer told the men, turning back around.

Now Playing: Constantine Main Theme

"No need, Luci." Constantine spoke up, before offering his whiskey to the two. "You two can have the last of my drink."

The men gazed at Constantine with confused expressions on their faces for about 10 seconds.

"Go on, mates. I'm quite generous like that."

The two then shrugged their shoulders as they figured "why not". And then the black haired man grabbed the bottle and took a big sip.

Suddenly, the man started to tense up as he made a… growling sound as if he was a tiger?

As that happened, a drop of liquid fell onto his friend's left hand, and he started to freak out too, and made the same noise.

Here was what was strange though: some kind of stem was fuming out of their bodies. Almost as if they were… burning.

What was even stranger was that as the men were tensing up, their faces briefly changed. Their eyes were a bright yellow color, their brows became rigid, and they had sharp fangs in their teeth.

But like I said, that was very brief as their faces quickly turned back to normal.

Yet, neither Constantine or Lucifer seemed to be shocked at that. In fact, John just smirked.

"Just as I suspected: Vampires. Demons cosplaying as human corpses on their date to prom."

The Vampires just sat there in bewilderment. How did this guy…?

Wait a minute… They squint their eyes at John as if he looked familiar. Was he…?

Their eyes widened as they finally realized who he was.

"Holy shit, you're John Constantine!" the black-haired Vampire yelled.

"Well, congrats to you, mates. You caught me red-handed." Constantine sarcastically said, slowly clapping his hands. "I guess that makes us even."

The men growled as they gritted their teeth at the exorcist. If there was ever a mortal Vampires (or any demon) hated more than the Slayer, it was this asshole.

"Oh, and that wasn't actually whiskey." Constantine revealed with the utmost nonchalance. "That was a nice glass of holy water."

"I swear, when we get your hands on you, you'll-" the dark-skinned Vampire was about to say until Lucifer got in their faces.

"Now, now, boys. Let's try not to cause any scene in my humble abode here. So I'd advise you two to kindly leave my establishment or else."

"Or else what?" the black-haired Vampire scoffed.

There was about 20 seconds of intense staring from Lucifer and the Vampires…

Until Lucifer's eyes suddenly changed, burning a bright red.

At that moment, the Vampires widened their eyes, stammering in shock at the sight of Morningstar.

No, not shock… Fear.

"Oh m-my God, it's the Devil. You're the Devil!"

And just like that, the Vampires got up from their seats and ran their way out of the nightclub, screaming like frightened children!

As the Vampires left, John turned to Lucifer.

"You never informed me there were Vamps harvesting this city."

"That's usually because they know not to cross paths with yours truly." Lucifer shrugged. "Those two idiots must've been the only exceptions."

"Yeah, I can agree to that." Constantine nodded, stretching his arms out a bit. "And as for me, I'm probably the one mortal besides the Slayer that they hate the most."

Constantine smirked, as if he was feeling proud of himself.

"But what can I say? I just seem to have that effect on the entire supernatural lot."

"You're bloody telling me." Lucifer muttered, which made Constantine chuckle.

And with that, the exorcist and the Devil continued to chat and banter with one another, quickly leaving that brief encounter completely behind them…

A/N: *snickers* This was fun to write.

As you can see, for Lucifer, this obviously takes place before his show even begins, so he hasn't met Chloe Decker yet and is still that carefree Devil from the beginning of the show.

Oh, this was actually my first time ever writing Maze. It's been a while since I've seen the show, so if I by any chance wrote her OOC, I sincerely apologize.

Also, anyone remember way back in "Enter Gibb" when I mentioned that the "Lucifer" from the Keanu Reeves' Constantine film played by Peter Stormare was actually Azazel, the Second of the Fallen? Well, I've decided to retcon that and actually make him the First of the Fallen. Basically, as the sly manipulator he is, he changed his and Lucifer's positions in Hell to having to where Lucifer was known as the First given that he's the actual Devil, and Azazel was the Second. I know "Legends of Tomorrow" already showed the First in Season 4, but Stormare's version is just way more fun, so for my series, he's the First.

Plus, I'm adding that he was the one that corrupted Manny from "Constantine" into bringing forth the Rising Darkness, which was slightly inspired by Aragorn II Elessar's old "Heroes" series. So in a way, Azazel is both the overarching antagonist of both the Constantine movie and show, LOL!

Other than that, not much to say for this one other than Constantine and Lucifer being Constantine and Lucifer.

Hope you guys enjoyed this Chapter, and I might get the next one released sometime in the next week or two as I do have an idea of what that'll be. See you guys then, and Happy Dark Legends Day!
