Hello again! I'm not dead! Volume 1 of RWBY of BSOTM is coming to an end and I'll be writing Volume 2 later on!
But I don't really want to call it Volume 2 because…there are like multiple volumes, with Volume 9 on the way. So I decided to make it into "Seasons". From chapter 1 all the way until this chapter, will be season 1 (Yes. I know that this season has a few chapters. Math is not my strong suit and Season 1 is more of a short intro of getting the gang together.)
Season 2 will be from Volume 2's "Best Day Ever" to Volume 3's "End Of The Beginning", in which I try to thicken the plot with stuff.
And finally, Season 3, will be the start of Volume 4 until Volume 8/9 and counting, aka the subsequent episodes, which I am very excited to write about and share with you guys. Why? Sorry, can't tell you. But you can wait.
With announcements out of the way, Now it's time for the disclaimers:
I do not own Angry Birds or RWBY, they all belong to their respective owners. Also, this chapter has a scene of blood and decapitation, aka beheading. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.
With disclaimers out of the way, Let us begin.
(A few days later after the events of the previous chapter)
Team RWBY, along with Red, Chuck, Bomb and Hal, were taking a walk through the city of Vale, observing all the colorful decorations that were being set up for the upcoming Vytal Festival.
"The Vytal Festival! Oh, this is absolutely wonderful!" Weiss said in excitement while raising both of her arms.
"I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much, Weiss." Ruby remarked. "It's kinda weirding me out…"
"How could you not smile?" Weiss asked in front of Ruby's face. "The Vytal festival is dedicated to the cultures of the world! There will be dances! Parades! A tournament! Oh, the amount of planning and organization that goes into this event is simply breathtaking!"
"You really know how to take a good thing and make it sound boring…" Yang said with arms crossed.
"Quiet, you!" Weiss shot back.
"But isn't this festival supposed to be like an anniversary for a war or something?" Red asked.
"Actually-it's-an-international-event-held-every-two-years-to-celebrate-the-end-of-some-kind-of-war." Chuck explained quickly while quickly flipping a book entitled "The History of Remnant" while wearing reading glasses. "It's-held-in-each-of-the-Kingdoms-starting-with-Vacuo, then-Mistral, then-Vale, 's-also-a-combat-tournament between the Huntsmen academies of each Kingdom."
"Can't you at least slow down when you are talking?! I only managed to understand the first two words you just said!" Weiss said with a groan.
"No promises." Chuck said to Weiss with a teasing grin as he took off his "reading glasses" and closed the book he was skimming, annoying her even further.
"That is nice and all, but why are we here?" Bomb asked as the group approached the docks. "This seems a little too early to be celebrating."
Ruby plugged her nose. "Ugh, it smells like fish."
"I've heard students visiting from Vacuo will be arriving by ship today." Weiss answered. "And as a representative of Beacon, I feel that it is my solemn duty to welcome them to this fine kingdom."
"She wants to spy on them, so she'll have the upper hand in the tournament." Blake translated.
"You can't prove that!" Weiss retorted.
"Hey Ruby, something wrong?" Bomb asked Ruby upon noticing that she was looking in the opposite direction so he followed her line of sight to see what appeared to be a crime scene.
"Oh my."
That got everyone else's attention as they all made their way closer to get a better look. It appeared to be some kind of shop with all its windows and doors broken with police tape everywhere, separating the crime scene from the public as a detective is busy writing something on his notepad.
"Hey, what happened here?" Ruby asked the detective.
"Robbery. Second dust shop to be hit this week. This place is turning into a jungle." He answered as he went to talk with his partner, which the group of eight overheard.
"Thanks to the witnesses, all of the stolen Dust was recovered, but not the thieves though. They escaped with some kind of smoke bomb."
"Darn. The money?"
"Untouched. They only took the Dust. Again."
"This doesn't make sense…who needs that much Dust?"
"I don't know, an army?"
"You thinking the White Fang?"
"Yeah. I'm beginning to think we don't get paid enough."
"Mamma Mia...this again…?" Hal wondered aloud.
"What do you mean again?" Yang questioned.
"You see, while we were busy looking for The Pigs and our remaining friends, we've been stopping a lot of these kinds of robberies in the city." Hal answered as he pointed to the robbed store. "Like that store, they didn't touch any of the money, they only took the Dust."
"You wouldn't have happened to encounter some degenerates in the White Fang, wouldn't you?" Weiss asked, causing Blake to narrow her eyes.
"What's your problem?"
"My problem?! I just simply don't care for the criminally insane." Weiss replied.
"The White Fang is hardly a bunch of psychopaths." Blake said while crossing her arms. "They're a collection of misguided Faunus."
"Misguided?! They want to wipe Humanity off the face of the planet!" Weiss shot back.
"So then they're very misguided!" Blake shot back in kind. "Either way, it doesn't explain why they would rob a Dust shop in the middle of downtown Vale!"
"Blake's got a point. Besides, we only ran into thugs, which maybe belong to that guy Ruby and I ran into a few months ago. There's a possibility it might be him. What was his name again…?" Red said.
"You mean Roman Torchwick?" Ruby said to Red.
"Ah yes! Roman!" Red said as he smashed his fist on his palm upon remembering the name.
"That still doesn't change the fact that the White Fang are a bunch of scum." Weiss said to Blake's growing anger. "Those Faunus only know how to lie, cheat, and steal."
"That remark seems a bit too much, isn't it?" Hal said with a sad tone.
"Yeah, I agree. That's not necessarily true…" Yang said as well.
"Hey! Stop that Faunus!"
The teams rushed over to the source of the cry to see a Faunus with a monkey tail running down the length of the boat he was on and leaping onto the edge as the two sailors were about to apprehend him.
"Thanks for the ride, guys! Haha!" He told them before jumping off and hitting the dock running.
"You no-good stowaway!" One of the sailors shouted.
"Hey! A no-good stowaway would've been caught! I'm a great stowaway!" The monkey Faunus shouted back, using his monkey tail to hang on a lamppost while he peels back a banana.
He was about to enjoy his banana but a rock was thrown towards his face, in which he managed to dodge in time.
"Hey! Get down from there this instant!" One of the detectives from before shouted as he approached the young man, earning a banana peel to the face from the monkey boy as said monkey boy perched himself on the lamppost to laugh in amusement before leaping off and running up the stairs with the detectives in pursuit. As he runs past Team RWBY and The Flock, he looks towards Blake and gives her a wink before running off, leaving Blake to her confusion.
"That was some monkey business..." Red commented.
"Well Weiss, you wanted to see the competition, and there it goes…" Yang teased Weiss.
"What?! Chuck! Catch him!" Weiss ordered. But Chuck was nowhere to be found, only a dotted silhouette of where he once stood.
"Wait, where did Chuck go?!" Hal asked as he, Bomb and Red looked around for any signs of Chuck.
"Ugh! Never mind that! Quick! We have to observe him!" Weiss said as she ran after the monkey boy with Ruby, Yang, Hal and Red behind her.
"Uh, Blake, you ok there?" Bomb asked as he snapped his fingers to try to get her attention as she seemed lost in her thoughts.
"H-Huh, w-what? O-oh. I- I'm fine, let's go." Blake stuttered as she was snapped back from her thoughts.
"You go first, I need to look for Chuck." Bomb told her as she nodded in acknowledgement and ran after her team, while Bomb took out his scroll and opened a messaging app.
Bomb: Hey Chuck, where are you?
(Chuck sends a photo of a Identification card with the name of Sun Wukong which has the face of the monkey boy from before)
Bomb: ?
Chuck: That monkey boy you guys saw is Sun Wukong, a student from Haven Academy.
I wonder if his weapon and Semblance is similar to the Monkey King of legend.
Bomb: You frisked him, didn't you?
Chuck: Yeah, he was a stowaway, so I need to check on him. Don't worry, I didn't steal anything from him, I'm not like those monkeys from Rio.
Bomb: Alright, I trust ya. But where did you go?
Chuck: Doing a little investigation, it won't take long.
Bomb: Alright, I'll let them know, just come back once you're done.
(Some time ago...)
"You see, while we were busy looking for The Pigs and our remaining friends…" Hal was busy explaining to Team RWBY while Chuck, being curious, decided to go ask the detectives himself.
"Excuse me." Chuck said as he approached the detectives. "You said there were witnesses that happened to stop this robbery, right?"
"Yes, I did. Two females." the detective from before nodded his head. "They also had a little boy with them too."
"I assume one of the females wears white and the other one wears pink, while the little one wears orange?" Chuck asked again.
"Yep, friends of yours?" the detective asked Chuck.
"Yes. Chuck confirmed. "Do you know where they went? I'm looking for them."
"They went south of here. Shouldn't have gone far. Stay outta trouble. We have enough trouble already." The detective told Chuck while pointing to the direction the girls…and boy went.
"Thanks!" Chuck said before running off. He was about to run at his full speed when he then suddenly heard, "Hey! Stop that Faunus!".
Curious to see what's going on, Chuck slowed down time to a crawl. Yep, Chuck activated "Chuck Time"
Time dramatically slowed down as Chuck casually whistled his way to the cause of the commotion to see Sun upside down on a lamppost with the help of his tail.
"Nice trick, but who are you exactly and what are you doing here?" Chuck asked as he walked over to the upside down Sun and searched for any form of identification, which didn't take long at all thanks to his speed.
"Sun Wukong? The Monkey King? The Great Sage, Heaven's Equal?" Chuck whistled an impressed tone when he took a look at Sun's identification. Although he quickly said. "Nah." before stuffing his identification back to where it was supposed to be and dashed away from the scene.
"Oh yeah! Red and the others need to know him just in case!" Chuck said as he skidded to a stop, before taking out his scroll and doing a quick U-turn.
(Now)
Just as Weiss, along with the rest of Team RWBY and The Flock behind her, rounded the corner, she happened to bump into someone else, causing them both to fall to the ground. Weiss got up to see Sun jump onto a building and disappear from her sight.
"No! He got away!"
"Uh…Weiss?" Hal said, getting Weiss's attention as he pointed downward. She looked in the direction to see she was on top of another girl, causing her to quickly pull herself up.
The girl has bright green eyes, freckles and fair skin. She also had short, curly orange hair with a pink bow at the back of her head while wearing a white old-fashioned blouse with a frilled dress that had green lines in the sides. She also wore a pair of black thigh-high leg pieces that were attached to her black shoes.
"Salutations!" The orange-haired girl greeted with a smile.
"Um… hello…?" Ruby greeted back.
"Are you okay?" Red asked, offering his hand to the fallen girl.
"I'm well. Thank you for asking."
"You sure? You're lying flat on the ground..." Bomb pointed out.
"Yes I am." the girl responded back.
"Need help getting up?" Red asked, further extending his hand.
"Thank you. And I accept your offer." She replied as she grabbed onto his hand, and he pulled her back up on her feet. "My name is Penny. It's a pleasure to meet you."
"Name's Red." He replied as the others began to introduce themselves to her.
"Hi Penny, I'm Ruby."
"Bomb."
"I'm Weiss."
"Hal, G'day."
"Blake."
"Are you sure you didn't hit your head?" Yang asked, causing Blake to elbow her with a slight glare. "Oh, I'm Yang."
"It's a pleasure to meet you." Penny repeated.
"But you said that already." Bomb pointed out again.
Penny paused for a second. "So, I did."
"Well, sorry for running into you." Weiss apologized before the group turned around to leave.
"Take care, friend." Ruby added as they left.
"She was… weird." Yang commented.
"We've had weirder friends in our adventures." Red said.
"True." Bomb agreed.
"Now, where did that Faunus riffraff run off too…?" Weiss tried to resume her search, only for her and everyone else to look in surprise as Penny somehow appeared right in front of them.
"What did you call me?" She asked as Weiss looked back and forth between where they were and where Penny stood now, trying to understand how she got here so quickly.
"Wow. I wonder if she could give Chuck a run for his money?" Bomb wondered.
"Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't think you heard me!" Yang apologized to Penny.
"No, not you." She walked past Yang and the rest, getting uncomfortably close to Ruby and Red. "You."
"Me?" Ruby and Red both questioned at the same time.
"Both. You called me friend. Am I really your friend?" Penny asked.
"Y-Yeah, sure! Why not?" Ruby said.
"No harm with that." Red also agreed with Ruby with a slight shrug.
"Sensational! We can paint our nails! And try on clothes! And talk about cute boys!"
"Sorry, I'm not into that." Red told her with a wince. "But if you want…I can introduce the rest of my friends to you. One of them might be interested in your…activities."
"Oh, I would love to meet more of your friends!" said an overjoyed Penny.
"So… what are you doing in Vale?" Yang asked Penny.
"I'm here to fight in the tournament." She answered.
"Oh, you're a student? Which Kingdom?" Hal asked.
"I am from Atlas." Penny replied.
"Wait… you are fighting in the tournament?" She questioned Penny.
"I'm combat ready!" The girl declared with a salute.
"Forgive me, but you hardly look the part." Weiss told her.
"Says the girl wearing a dress…" Red said with a shrug.
"It's a combat skirt!" Weiss growled with her arms crossed.
"Yeah!" Ruby agreed as she shared a high-five with Weiss.
"Wait a minute…If you're here for the tournament, does that mean you know that monkey-tailed... rapscallion?" Weiss asked, getting up and close with Penny and grabbing her by the shoulders.
"The who…?" Penny asked in confusion.
"The filthy Faunus from the boat!" Weiss said as she presented a crudely drawn picture of Sun Wukong to Penny.
"Why do you keep saying that?!" Blake questioned.
"Huh?!" Weiss said as her attention turned to Blake.
"Stop calling him a rapscallion! Stop calling him a degenerate! He's a person!" Blake exclaimed.
"Oh, I'm sorry! Would you like me to stop referring to the trash can as a trashcan?! Or this lamppost as a lamppost?!" Weiss argued.
"Stop it!" Blake shouted.
"Stop what?! He clearly broke the law! Give him time and he'll probably join up with those other Faunus in the White Fang!" Weiss argued back.
"The White Fang is one group of Faunus! Not every single one of them is part of that group!" Blake stated, her fists clenching. "Stop being such an ignorant little brat!"
"How dare you talk to me like that, I'm your teammate!" Weiss argued.
"The mere fact that you would sort that Faunus boy with a terrorist group solely based on his species makes you just as much of a scoundrel as you believe him to be!" Blake argued back.
"I don't like this…." Hal winced as the argument between Weiss and Blake escalated with Red attempting to break up the argument, only to be caught in it.
"Yeah… we should go." Yang seemed to agree, standing with Ruby, Bomb and Hal.
"Where are we going?" Penny asked, popping behind Ruby, smiling, much to their surprise.
(Night)
The argument is still ongoing as Team RWBY got back to their shared dorm. Even The Flock were there as well with Red still in the argument.
"Sure the White Fang had done a lot of bad things." Red said to Weiss. "But not every single Faunus is a part of that organization. How else do you explain that a few of your classmates are Faunus, working just as hard as you to try and become Huntsmen?"
"Why are you taking their side? You're not a Faunus, you're not even from our world!" Weiss said to Red.
"I'm not taking any sides." Red told Weiss. "But are you going to be like Cardin who bullies Faunus classmates like Velvet who are just trying to become Huntsmen?"
"Well, maybe they're the exceptions…" Weiss said.
"Exceptions?!" Blake shouted. "You think the majority of the Faunus are evil by nature?! That they're like the Grimm?!"
"They wear Grimm masks now, don't they?" Weiss pointed out.
"The White Fang! Not the Faunus as a whole! They're not the same thing!" Blake exclaimed. "Why do you think the White Fang hates humanity so much! It's because of people like Cardin and people like you that force the White Fang to take such drastic measures!"
"People like me?!" Weiss questioned.
"You're prejudiced! You treat the Faunus like garbage just for existing!" Blake yelled.
"I'm a victim!" Weiss yelled back.
"How are you a victim?" Red asked. "You live in Atlas, the most advanced Kingdom on this planet and you're rich. How could the White Fang touch you?"
She narrowed her eyes at both of them, particularly at Red. "You say you want to keep things fair? Well, let me tell you, both of you, why I hate the White Fang, why I don't particularly trust the Faunus…" She said as she walked towards the window, looking at the night sky with a serious expression. "It's because they've been at war with my family for years. War, as in actual bloodshed. My grandfather's company has had a target painted across its back for as long as I can remember. And ever since I was a child… I've watched friends of my family disappear… board members executed… an entire train car full of Dust… stolen. And every day, my father would come home furious… and that made for a very difficult childhood."
Everyone present, even Red and Blake, had sympathetic expressions towards Weiss, even as Ruby walked up to her to try to provide some form of comfort.
"Weiss, I-" She tried to put her hand on Weiss's shoulder, but got rejected.
"No! You want to know why I hate the White Fang? It's because they're a bunch of liars, thieves and murderers!"
"Well maybe we were just tired of being pushed around!" Blake shouted.
That caused all tension in the room to suddenly turn into shock as all eyes quietly stared at Blake.
"I… I…" Blake then quickly left a shadow clone of herself as she ran out of the dorm.
"Wait! Blake! Come back!" Ruby tried to stop her, but she had already vanished.
"Hey Ruby!" Silver excitedly called out from outside the dorm room.
"I managed to make a machine that makes-"
Silver cut herself short when she sensed that something's up, evident of everyone's uneasiness, except for Weiss looking down.
"W-What happened?" Silver whispered nervously to Bomb.
"Cat got out of the bag." Bomb whispered back.
"Oh…" Silver took a minute to process the information, before she quickly went to Red.
"Can I go after her?" She whispered in his ear.
"Just make sure she's ok, call us if you need anything." Red whispered back.
"Alright. Tell Terry and The Blues to look into it meanwhile. I feel like there's more to this than meets the eye." Silver whispered back before running out of the dorm room to go after Blake.
(Beacon Courtyard)
Blake took a moment to look at the statue of a Huntsman and Huntress standing proudly over a defeated Grimm. She closes her eyes and slowly lifts her arms up to her bow and pulls the string to release the bow from her hair. She wipes a tear away as her Faunus cat ears revealed themselves from the bow. Blinded by her tears, she becomes startled when she hears a voice behind her.
"Blake!"
She quickly turned around in surprise to see Silver running towards her with a face of concern. She was about to run away, but Silver had already dashed in front of her while spreading out both of her arms, blocking any means of escape.
"Wait. I just want to talk." she quickly told her. "I already knew you were a Faunus."
"How…did you know…?" She asked meekly, avoiding Silver's gaze.
"You know, there's something about soaring through the sky all day, seeing everything from a distant height, that makes one a keen observer. I guess you can say that it takes an animal to know an animal. No offense." Silver answered. "But I didn't know you were part of the White Fang."
"Not anymore…"
"Alright, but I need to know more." Silver told Blake. "Can we have a little heart to heart?"
"Why…? Why do you want to listen…?"
"It's kind of a long story. Let me hear your story, and I'll tell you mine. Is this ok for you?"
"Not here…" She spoke.
"Sure. Anywhere you like." Silver nodded in understanding.
"Mind if I tag along too?" A third voice spoke up, surprising Blake, but Silver showed no sign of surprise, instead putting on an annoyed expression.
(Morning)
Blake and Silver sat at a table at a café in the City of Vale...with Sun Wukong sitting next to them. Blake had a serious expression while Silver continued to give an annoyed glare towards the monkey boy.
"What's with the angry looks? It's not like I've done anything." Sun remarked.
"You're eavesdropping on a private and personal discussion." Silver told him. "Ever heard of stranger danger?"
"I'm not a complete stranger. She knows me." Sun said as he pointed to Blake.
"I don't even know your name." Blake told him.
"Well, my name is-"
"Your name is Sun Wukong and you're from Haven Academy." Silver said before sipping her drink.
"Hey! How did you know that? Did you stalk me?" Sun questioned.
"Nope. A friend of mine just happened to know you." Silver replied.
"If you're a student, then why did you stowaway on that cargo ship?" Blake asked. "You could have just come in legally like everyone else."
"Where's the fun in that?" Sun replied.
"Yeah…fun...just like how you apparently stalked Blake back to Beacon last night. Got any plans to have "fun" with Blake later?" Silver teased in a joking manner, causing Blake's face to turn bright red and angrily glare at Sun.
"Ok…look…I'm not trying to cause any trouble." Sun winced as he avoided the glare. "I just want to help someone who's sad, that's all."
"He's probably not going to leave until he hears this, so let him stay." Blake said with a reluctant sigh.
"Alright…" Silver said.
"Geeze, try to lighten up a bit." Sun commented.
"I could if you took this a little seriously." Silver said back.
"Ready to share, Blake?" Silver asked Blake, receiving a nod in response.
After a few deep breaths, Blake said, "Sun, are you familiar with the White Fang?"
"Of course! I don't think there's a Faunus on the planet who hasn't heard of them. Stupid, holier-than-thou creeps that use force to get whatever they want. Bunch of freaks, if you ask me!" Sun replied, sipping some coffee with his tail.
Blake took a sip of her own coffee before responding. "I was once a member of the White Fang."
Sun choked a bit on his coffee. "Wait a minute…! You were a member of the White Fang!?"
"That's right. I was a member for most of my life. Actually, you could almost say I was born into it…" Blake confirmed before telling her story.
"Back then, things were different. In the ashes of war, the White Fang was meant to be a symbol of peace and unity between Humans and the Faunus. Of course, despite being promised equality, the Faunus were still subjected to discrimination and hate. Humanity still thought of us as lesser beings. That's why The White Fang rose up as the voice of our people. We originally restrained ourselves to peaceful protests, deciding not to stoop to the same level as humanity. Even as a child, I was at the front of every rally, I took part in every boycott, and I actually thought we were making a difference."
"But it didn't work, right?" Silver assumed, getting a quiet nod from Blake.
"Those protests always ended up with bloodshed, just for speaking out!" Blake said bitterly.
"Five years ago… our old leader stepped down, and a new leader took his place. She had a different way of thinking. Suddenly, our peaceful protests turned into organized attacks, setting fire to shops that refused to serve us, hijacking cargo from companies that used Faunus labor."
"Such as the Schnee Dust company?" Silver asked.
"Yes. Blake said sadly. "How did you know?"
"Terry sent me what he could find." Silver said as she took out her scroll.
"Poor working conditions, high accident and fatality rates, and they receive little or no compensation and or insurance. It's basically slavery." Silver summarized as she skimmed through the data.
"Yes, But the worst part of the attacks is that it was working. We were being treated like equals, but it is not out of respect. But rather out of fear." Blake continued.
Sun was rendered speechless while Silver continued to listen.
"So…I left. I decided I no longer wanted to use my skills to aid in their violence. And instead, I would dedicate my life to becoming a Huntress. So here I am...a criminal hiding in plain view all with the help of a little black bow."
"I'm sorry for what you have to go through." Silver said.
"Thanks." Blake nodded.
"So… did you tell your friends any of this?" Sun asked.
Blake merely looked down in shame and said nothing in return.
"It's a bit complicated." Silver told Sun. "I had a similar experience with Blake before."
"What do you mean? Are you once part of the White Fang too?" Sun asked.
"No, she's not. She's not from around here." Blake replied.
"Blake, remember that time you asked me that interesting question?" Silver asked the cat Faunus.
(Flashback)
"Hey Silver! Are you in there?" Ruby asked as she knocked on the door of Silver's lab with the rest of her teammates behind her as they wanted to see if Silver made something interesting.
The door suddenly swung open to reveal Red and his usual unenthusiastic face.
"We are busy." He simply told them.
"No, we are not! Come on in!" Silver insisted, causing Red to groan and step aside for Team RWBY to come inside.
As Team RWBY stepped inside, a white mannequin in the center of the lab caught their attention. The mannequin is currently holding up a Hard-Light Dust shield, as if it was protecting itself from something with the shield.
"What's with the Hard-Light shield?" Yang asked as she took a closer look at it.
"Testing." Silver answered while tapping on the screen of her scroll. "This prototype shield is made with Hard-Light Dust, but the internal system is made differently, that means the shield is done differently. I'm sure all of you heard of drones, right?"
Team RWBY all nodded their heads.
"Well, back home, a friend of mine created several defensive drones to help us in a fight. Once the fight was over, he gave me the blueprints for these drones since we can't build them anymore, so now I implemented some of them into this shield."
"What drone did you use to make that thing besides Shieldor?" Red asked Silver.
"Why don't you try out? You are the only one to use a shield back home." Silver suggested.
"Stand in front of the dummy."
"Ok. Move aside ladies." Red said as he walked to the front of the dummy, with Team RWBY moving to the side for safety.
"Now…strike it." Silver told Red.
"On the shield?"
"Yes."
"Anywhere?"
"Yes."
"Ok." Red said before delivering a quick kick to the shield-holding dummy, knocking it down and away as it ended up hitting a wall.
"Not that hard, genius!" Silver shouted as she went to retrieve the fallen dummy.
"You told me to strike it. You didn't say how hard." Red said in his defense.
"I invite you to my lab…and you just kick things around?" Silver grumbled as she placed the dummy back to its original place.
"Maybe you should make it a little stronger." Red suggested, causing Ruby to chuckle a little.
"Oh gee, why didn't I think of that?." Silver said in sarcasm after checking that nothing was damaged before walking away from Red and the dummy.
"Strike it again in the same spot." Silver told Red as she used her scroll to start a video recording and turned the camera to Red and the dummy, much to the confusion of Team RWBY and Red.
"What's with the scroll?" Weiss asked Silver.
"For research." Silver simply told Weiss.
"Whenever you are ready!" Silver told Red.
"Do I have to strike it less hard?"
"Oh, there's no need for that now. Any amount of strength will do."
"Ok then. Here goes…" Red said as he prepared himself.
Just as Red's shoe impacted with the shield, the arm of the dummy that is holding the shield immediately sprung forward thanks to an inside mechanism built by Silver, causing the shield to glow with white light and unleash a white shockwave, pushing Red away into the air and landed on the wall behind him, causing Silver and Team RWBY to burst into laughter, except for Blake and Weiss who only chuckled.
"Delete that footage." Red ordered Silver.
"Nah. Besides, I'm just using this as a reference material. I'll delete it when I'm done with the shield." Silver told him with a reassuring smile, causing Red to groan in annoyance.
"Fine, I'll catch some z's in the meantime." Red said as he picked himself up and walked out of the lab.
"Silver, can I ask something?" Blake asked Silver as she approached her while the rest of her team were recovering from their laughter.
"What is it Blake?" Silver said as she turned off the shield from the dummy.
"During your introduction briefing, you said that your enemies, The Pigs, can build a lot of stuff, right?"
"Yep." Silver nodded her head.
"Then how are you able to build a lot of stuff, like fixing our bunk beds? You seem to possess the same abilities of your enemies while your friends don't. How do you explain this?"
"An interesting question. Well, to explain this..."
Beacon's school bell just rang, signaling the end of break as well as interrupting Silver.
"Oh, your classes are starting! I'll tell you later. Now hurry along before all of you are late!" Silver told Blake.
(End Of Flashback)
"Yes… I remember." Blake said to Silver.
"So…did you manage to put two and two together?" Silver asked.
"You were once with The Pigs?" Blake asked Silver, receiving a confirming nod from her.
"The Pigs?" Sun asked with confusion on his face.
"They are human pirates that plunder resources for themselves." Silver quickly told a lie to him because she still doesn't trust Sun yet. They just met after all.
"They may sound like The White Fang, but unlike Blake's story of which were once passive, The Pigs are rotten to the core, because they take orders from a tyrant leader. They robbed me of my former family when I was born, and so I adopted their building talents. Technically they really didn't raise me, I just live among them as an orphan, but even so they made fun of me when I was young because I look and act differently. Fortunately, there are few who only desired peace and kept a neutral ground, such as a professor that noticed my building talents, and took me in as an apprentice and as an adopted daughter. I thought I was the only outsider, just making weapons and tools for some unknown members of The Pigs, until I then realized that the customers who used my weapons and tools were not members of The Pigs at all, and that's how I met my friends, and made a new family with them. I do feel a little guilty for fighting against The Pigs, just a little. But I guess you can call it payback."
Blake and Sun silently looked at Silver with shocked and concerned expressions after hearing her story.
"I'm...sorry for what happened to you." Blake said.
"It's fine. What's done is done." Silver told her.
"Just like what I said about The Pigs, they may be bad, but some of them are actually good, like the professor I mentioned. Everyone will always have a good side and a bad side...I've seen what both humans and Faunus did to each other, and their actions are inexcusable. But if they keep refusing to understand each other and opt for senseless violence, things could go for worse. That's why I wanted to talk to you Blake.
"Thank you…" Blake said. " But can I even go back to my own team?"
"Of course you can! Look at me! I'm a Faunus and a student, like you! I'm even the leader of my own team!" Sun insisted.
"Even when I'm a former member of the White Fang?" Blake asked again.
"I'm sure they won't mind. You are here to make a difference as a Huntress after all. You have me and my team's full support." Silver said as she put her hand on Blake's shoulder. "Right, monkey boy?"
"I have a name, you know." Sun told Silver in a slightly annoyed tone.

"Blake!" Ruby and Yang tried to call her as the both of them, along with Weiss, Red, Bomb and Hal, were walking around the City of Vale.
"Blake! Where are you?!" Ruby shouted again before turning to Weiss.
"Weiss, you're not helping!"
"Oh! You know who might be able to help? The police!" Weiss suggested, earning cold glares from everyone.
"What?! It was just an idea!"
"Yeah…and a really bad one at that." Red told her.
"We should just find Blake and listen to her side of the story before coming to any conclusions." Bomb suggested.
"Yeah, she's been with us for months. I'm sure she has something to say. " Yang agreed.
"Well, I think that when we hear it, you'll all realize I was right!" Weiss insisted.
"And I think Weiss' hair looks wonderful today!" Penny added, apparently appearing out of nowhere.
"Ah! Penny! Where did you come from!?" Ruby screamed.
"Hey guys! What are you up to?" Penny asked, ignoring the question.
"We are looking for Blake." Hal answered.
"Oooh, you mean the Faunus girl!" Penny said.
"Wait…how did you know that?" Ruby asked.
"Uh…the cat ears?" Penny said as she pointed to the top of her head for emphasis.
"What cat ears? She wears a... bow…" Yang said while coming to a slow realization.
"Wait, you're telling me that apparently none of you, except for us, know that Blake is a Faunus this whole time?!" Red asked in disbelief.
"What?!" Weiss said in shock along with Ruby and Yang. "Why didn't you guys say anything?"
"It's not really that hard to figure it all out." Red told them. "Most of her meals have fish on them."
"Her bow twitches sometimes." Hal pointed out.
"The Blues even told me that they heard her purr on multiple occasions." Bomb added.
"So, where is she?" Penny asked.
"We don't know. She's been missing since Friday." Ruby answered.
"That's terrible! Well, don't you worry Ruby, my friend! I won't rest until we find your teammate!" Penny said as she grabbed Ruby by the arms.
"Well, we need all the help we could get." Red said. "Let's split up. Bomb! You, Ruby and Penny are with me. Hal! you'll go with Yang and Weiss, The Blues will join you soon."
"Got it!" Bomb, Hal, Ruby and Yang all said in unison, except for Weiss who just kept an unhappy expression, while Penny instead said, "Acknowledged!".
(Meanwhile...)
"So…what's the plan?" Silver asked Blake as the both of them, along with Sun, walked down an alley.
"I'm not sure yet. I still don't believe the White Fang is behind these robberies. They've never needed that much Dust before."
"What if they did?" Sun asked. "I mean... the only way to prove that they didn't do it, is to go to the place where they would most likely go if they were to do it, and not find them there! Right?"
"The only thing is… I've no idea where that would be." Blake replied.
"Well I do!" Silver said as she showed Blake and Sun the message sent to her on her scroll.
"It's only a bunch of dots!" Sun remarked as he stared at the scroll confused.
"Oops, sorry. I forgot you guys can't understand this. Force of habit." Silver apologized with a sheepish smile. "Anyway, a friend of mine reported that there's a huge Dust shipment from Atlas coming here tonight, the White Fang might strike there. If anyone wants to steal a whole lot of Dust, it's there." She said as she pointed to a red dot on the map.
(Meanwhile)
"Thanks anyways!" Hal told the shop owner as he, Yang and Weiss exited out of a shop.
"This is hopeless." Yang said with a sigh.
"I'm sure we'll find her eventually." Hal assured Yang before noticing Weiss's face of indifference.
"You really don't care if we find her, do you?" He asked her.
"Don't be stupid. Of course I do. I'm just afraid of what she'll say when we find her." Weiss replied with a huff.
"Weiss, I know you have multiple reasons to be angry at Blake." Hal told her. "Although me and the boys, minus Chuck, have heard your story. We haven't heard Blake's story yet. We should hear her out first."
"Even if she's innocent, the innocent never run!" Weiss shot back.
"Unless they are left with no choice." Jim interrupted as he and his brothers appeared out of nowhere and approached the group.
"So...uh...what do you guys find?" Hal asked.
"A lot actually." Jim replied before turning to Weiss.
"Hey Weiss, you are the heiress of the Schnee Dust company, right?"
"Yes, so?" Weiss questioned.
"So… you would say you know your company well?" Jay asked.
"What are you saying?! Of course I do! Get to the point!" Weiss shot back.
"Okay!" Jake said before pulling out a large stack of files, dropping them right in front of a surprised Weiss with a loud thud.
"Now, let's see what's in these little yellow files of murders…" Jake asked as he flipped open the top file of the file stacks.
"Even after Humans promised to give Faunus equality, they just said: "Just kidding, no." Humans still think they are freaks just because they look different, despite them looking and mostly behaving the same." Jim started as he skimmed the files.
"Humans have done quite a lot of nasty things. They think of Faunus as literal animals, and they treat them like animals. Putting them in cages, abusing them physically. Heck, they even cut off their body parts and use them as hunting trophies! Take a look at this! Beautiful, isn't it?" Jake said as he flashed several photos in front of Weiss, causing her to gasp in shock and horror.
The photos were of various Faunus hate crimes done by Humans. One of them has a male cat Faunus being tied by the waist and hung up on a tree to bleed to death from his cut wounds. Another one has a female wolf Faunus child crying with blood on her as a human male has cut off her tail and ears. And another one showed various headless corpses of Faunus lying on the floor next to a wooden pole, their separated blood covered heads skewered on that pole.
"That's not all." Jay continued. "When your father, Jacques Schnee, took over the Schnee Dust company, the Faunus employed there suffered from poor working conditions with high accident and fatality rates, and they received little or no compensation and or insurance compared to their Human colleagues and superiors, and they also suffered like those Faunus in those photos. And all of those things happened while the White Fang's former leader, Blake's father, who is a pacifist, only resorted to protests to get the message of equality across, which only ended up in bloodshed!" he said as he took out two photos from the file and flashed them at Weiss.
One of the photos has an extremely small room occupied immensely by Faunus workers wearing Schnee Dust company work clothing covered by wounds and dirt, while the other one showed several White Fang members, carrying protest signs, clashing against Humans who are carrying guns, swords and various weapons while there were corpses of White Fang members strewn across the floor.
"This is why The White Fang chose to use violence to get their message across, because no one listened to them and continued to treat them unfairly." Jim said. "Because people like you think that all Faunus are evil and must be wiped out, and since you are the heiress of a company that abuses Faunus way too much, and you have the only military in Remnant at your fingertips, given the position of your sister there. What are you going to do, commit genocide on all of the Faunus?! That would make you the same as your father, or even worse!"
"I...I would never do that!" Weiss cried. "I'm not like my father…! I'm not a murderer…!"
"Then what's the difference?" Jay asked.
"I'm sorry…what?" Weiss asked.
"What's the difference between Humans and Faunus?" Jay repeated with his hands placed on his hips. "Faunus are just the same as human beings. They look and act the same, just with different traits to make themselves unique among others. Look at us. We are limbless birds back home. But here, we are humans and act the very same. Just like Blake, despite being a Faunus, she is still your teammate and your friend. I'll leave you to think about it." He said before leaving Weiss to her own thoughts.
"How do you guys seem fine even after seeing those…pictures?" Yang asked as Jay approached Yang and Hal.
"We had our fair share of war and bloodshed, we've seen worse." Jay replied.
"Terry has reported that there's a huge Dust shipment coming here tonight. He suspects that the White Fang might strike here. You guys in?"
"Yep." Hal nodded.
"Absolutely." Yang agreed.
"What about you Weiss? You okay?" Yang asked her teammate.
"L-Let's…just find Blake." Weiss said simply..
(Elsewhere)
"So…Blake is your friend?" Penny asked.
"Yes, Penny." Ruby answered with a sigh.
"But you are all mad at her?" She asked again.
"No, nobody's mad." Red said. "Well…maybe except for Weiss."
"Isn't she friends with Blake?" Penny asked again.
"Yes…but to make things simple, Blake's just a little upset, that's all." Bomb told her.
"Oh… I see." Penny nodded. "Why is she upset?"
"Well… Blake might not be who we thought she was." Ruby answered.
"Is she a man?" Penny asked with a gasp.
"What?! No!" Red said. "We are just simply unsure on what she is. She had already left before we could ask her."
"I don't have many friends." Penny revealed. "But if I did, I would want them to talk to me about things."
"Me too…" Ruby said sadly while gazing down.
"Come on Ruby, cheer up!" Bomb insisted as he put his hand gently on Ruby's shoulder. "I'm sure we can find Blake sooner or later. And when we find her, we'll talk to her and show that we care and accept her regardless of who or what she is. You are her leader and friend. Show her that you are."
"Thanks…Bomb." Ruby said with slightly lifted spirits. "I just wish that we have a slight clue on where Blake might be."
"Maybe Terry does." Red said as he revealed a red dot on his scroll.
"Who's Terry?" Penny asked.
(Night)
Silver, Terence, and Blake are at a shipping yard, the three of them laying flat on their stomachs on a rooftop of one of the warehouses that overlooks the shipment of Schnee Dust containers.
"Did I miss anything?" Sun asked as he landed next to Blake.
"Not really. They've offloaded the crates from the boat. Now they're just sitting there." Silver whispered.
"A friend of yours?" Sun asked her while using his tail to point to Terence.
"Yep. His name is Terence."
"..."
"Nice to meet you…I guess. Anyways…stole you guys some food!" Sun said as he offered the group some green apples.
"Do you always break the law without giving a second thought?" Blake asked with a questioning look.
"Hey, weren't you in a cult or something?" Sun countered, causing Blake to give him narrowed eyes. "Okay…too soon."
"..."
"Yeah, I agree Terry. Monkey boy is starting to feel like dead weight." Silver agreed.
"The name's Sun! Not monkey boy!" Sun shot back. "And I'm not dead weight either! I can fight! I'm a Huntsman in training after all."
Before the group could continue with their conversation, a huge gust of wind blew all around them, causing them to look upward to an incoming Bullhead, which flashed its searchlights upon all the cargo in the docks. Terence and the other three slightly crawled away from the Bullhead to avoid being seen as they watched the ship land in the middle of the shipping containers and its bay doors open and extend off a ramp, in which a black hooded person with a metallic fanged mask stepped out. The back of his uniform has an emblem of a red wolf with red claw marks.
"Oh no…" Blake muttered as she noticed the emblem on his uniform.
"Is that them?" Sun asked quietly.
"Yes…It's them." Blake replied.
"Grab the tow-cables!" the agent ordered, motioning to his comrades using his rifle.
"Hey! What's the hold up?!" Somebody else spoke from within the ship, stepping out to reveal a man with orange hair and a bowler hat and not wearing the uniform that is worn by the White Fang. "We're not exactly the most inconspicuous bunch of thieves at the moment, so why don't you animals try to pick up the pace?"
"Who is that?" Sun questioned.
"Roman Torchwick." Blake answered. "A small-time petty crook here in Vale."
"I remember Red telling me about him." Silver recalled. "But why is he with the White Fang? He's not a Faunus."
"No, he's not." Blake shook her head as she stood up, drawing out Gambol Shroud. "They'd never work with any human, much less one like that." She said before leaping off the building.
"Blake, wait!" Silver tried to stop her, but she was too late.
"Hey, wait for me!" Sun as he leapt off after her.
"Wait! Argh! Damn you monkey boy…" Silver growled in annoyance.
"Terry, stay on standby, contact the others to get here right now." Silver told Terence, in which he nodded before Silver leapt off after them.
"No, you idiot! This isn't a leash!" Torchwick scolded a White Fang agent who held a tow cable in his hands, only for Blake to suddenly appear behind him, grabbed both his hands and pinned them behind his back with one hand, while holding Gambol Shroud in the other, the blade an inch from his throat. "What the…?!"
"Nobody move!" Blake demanded, even as all seven White Fang agents aimed their guns at her.
"Whoa… take it easy there, little lady." Torchwick said mockingly as Silver, with Stormfall activated, and Sun, revealed themselves, facing the White Fang.
Suddenly, Blake used her free hand to remove her bow, revealing her cat ears to everyone. "Brothers of the White Fang! Why are you aiding this scum?! Why are you letting him give you orders?!"
Upon hearing this, the White Fang members slowly lowered their weapons, unsure of what to do, while Roman simply laughed.
"Oh, kid, didn't you get the memo?" Roman said to Blake. "The White Fang and I are going on a joint business venture together!" He exclaimed with a smirk as two more Bullheads arrived, hovering above Roman.
Suddenly, the ship's doors opened and many men carrying various weapons jumped off from them, surrounding our heroes, the White Fang members, and Roman, aiming at them with rifles, much to everyone's surprise. The men all wore green armor, with a black colored emblem of three cracked eggs and a pig snout located at the top left of their chest armor. (It's also where your beating heart is) They also wore green helmets that have black lenses, the "nose" of the helmet has symmetrical triangular nostrils that have metal stripes, somewhat resembling a triangular pig snout.
"Nobody move!" One of the green soldiers shouted.
"I see you got help." Silver said to Roman as she looked at the soldiers.
"That's not my backup…" Roman growled back. "As if one delay wasn't enough…."
One of the Bullheads dropped down a ladder, which another man climbed down from it. He doesn't wear armor like the others, but he wore a green military camouflage uniform with three chevrons on his sleeves and the same symbol as the green armored men on the top left of his uniform. He also wore a slightly damaged military helmet that covered his eyes. The helmet has a brown belt across it with a black ace card on it.
"Huh? Dust stealers? Excellent! I was getting a little bored around here!" The man with the funny helmet shouted.
"Men! Get those Dust boxes!" the man ordered. "The king demands it!"
"Yes sir!" The green soldiers shouted back as they went to deal with the cargo of Dust, while the rest continued to aim their rifles.
"So you guys are responsible for the missing Dust that we stole!" Roman shouted at the man with the helmet. "Hey buster! Newsflash, we stole the Dust! fair and square! we found it first!"
"Oh, what took you so long?" the man with helmet taunted. "And guess what? I don't care! The king has bigger ambitions than a petty beggar criminal."
"PETTY?! I'll show you petty ..." Roman growled.
"That voice! And that tone! It sounds very familiar! Could it be…?" Silver thought to herself before turning to the man with the helmet, putting her hands near her mouth and shouted, "Hey, Corporal Pig!"
"Huh? How on earth do you know my name, maggot?" The helmeted man demanded.
"Earth? Pig? Does that mean…?" Blake asked, Gambol Shroud's blade still an inch away from Roman's neck.
"Yep…Bad Piggies. And what do we know…we found them." Silver said.
"Bad Piggies? Are they Faunus?" Roman asked.
"No. But I can't believe that they steal Dust from the Dust that you guys stole." Silver replied with a snicker, causing Roman to groan in annoyance.
"Hey maggot! You still haven't answered my question!" Corporal Pig shouted, interrupting the conversation.
"I know your name because I was your therapist. Remember, Galvy? I'm Windblade." Silver said in a calm and slow tone.
"Galvy?! Windblade?! What the heck is going on here?!" Roman questioned.
"Quiet!" Blake demanded, her blade going closer to his throat.
"Nobody knows that name…except for me…and…" Corporal Pig slowly came to a realization.
"Silver!?"
"Congrats, Corporal! Well done!" Silver smiled as she clapped her hands.
"Wait, hold on." Corporal Pig interrupted suddenly, digging his pockets to pull out his ringing scroll and held it close to his ear, turning away from a slightly surprised Silver.
"Yeah? Uh huh, we are doing it right now. Yes, we did have a slight competition. Yes, we dealt with it, but we have a new one. Yep. Really? Are you sure? Well, if you insist…" Corporal Pig spoke on the scroll before he lowered his scroll and faced Silver again.
"Uh...someone wants to talk to you."
"Okay then, pass the scroll." Silver said as she pulled out her hand.
"No need for that." Corporal Pig revealed, as he pushed a few buttons in his scroll to have a large holographic screen projected from the scroll, showing a rotund man sitting in a golden throne. The man has a very large body stature, and is morbidly obese in both body and cheeks, he also wore a gray long sleeved vest with golden cuffs, along with a purple robe and a golden crown with small blue jewels on it.
"Ah, Silver. Snooping as usual I see." the man greeted.
"Hello again, King Pig. You can't really blame me for snooping. I'm a scout, that's my job." Silver greeted back.
"Now what are you doing here? Last time I checked, this place doesn't have the eggs that you know too well."
"I'm not here for the eggs. At least not yet." King Pig said with a grin. "I have been granted a world where we can rule without any opposition, build up our forces, and finally defeat you and your friends! Including your new friends." He told Silver with a wicked smile, causing Silver, Blake and Sun to grit their teeth.
"Corporal?" his head turned to Corporal.
"Yes?"
"Do it."
Corporal Pig nodded in response before removing his helmet and flung it forcibly like a frisbee, hitting Silver first, before it ricocheted to Blake, causing her to lose her grip on Roman as the helmet hit Roman and Sun as well before hitting the White Fang troops and returning to Corporal Pig as his targets were all knocked down.
"Eliminate them." King Pig ordered, as the Pig Troopers activated their laser pointers, pointing at their targets. Before any of the Pig Troopers could make a move, a loud shout could be heard before Corporal Pig and the Pig Troopers were all knocked down by a red shockwave, stunning them.
"King Pig!" Red shouted with anger with his sword already drawn out as Ruby, Bomb and Penny appeared behind him. "That's the enemy you told us about?" Ruby asked Bomb.
"Yep. King Pig." Bomb replied.
"Why is he called King Pig? Is he the king of pigs?" Penny asked Bomb.
"Yes. In a way." Bomb replied to Penny.
"Red!" King Pig shouted with a mix of anger and horror. "Deal with them corporal!" King Pig ordered as he ended the transmission.
"What are you maggots waiting for?! Attack!" Corporal commanded his troops as they and the White Fang agents opened fire at each other, with Silver, Blake, Sun and Roman caught between them along with Red, Bomb, Ruby and Penny charging forward. Using the ensuing chaos as his opportunity, Torchwick quickly picked up his cane, Melodic Cudgel, on the ground and aimed at Blake's face but was knocked back by a swift punch to the gut from Bomb. As Roman recovered from the gut strike, he looked up with a glare and gritted teeth to see Bomb helping Blake up.
"Why don't you pick on someone your own size?" Bomb said as he punched his fists, causing his fists to burst into flames with Blake assuming a fighting stance of her own too.
"I already have two problems! I don't need another!" Torchwick growled as he opened fire with his cane.
Meanwhile, Silver kept dodging the bullet fire from the Pig Troopers with her acrobatics. After flipping and rolling around for some time, Silver did a retreating cartwheel before delivering a swift back kick to a nearby Pig Trooper right in the face, grabbed him by the legs, and using her strength, spun the poor Trooper around and around, faster and faster each time, until she released the Trooper, causing the poor guy to fly towards his fellow soldiers, knocking them all down and out like Bowling pins. A White Fang agent appeared from behind and opened fire at Silver, causing her to do a cartwheel sidestep and run while using Stormfall to block off some shots as the White Fang agent continued to open fire at her. But Silver was too fast for the agent as she appeared behind him and before the agent could react, grappled him, jumped high and spun him around like a wheel in the air to build up momentum, before throwing the agent's body onto the ground, letting gravity and momentum do the work for her.
Silver turned around as she landed and got up to see Sun surrounded by four White Fang agents. She was about to step in and help but Monkey Boy then pulled out a dark red staff with gold detailing, which he spun around to smack an agent hard in the face, trip another one off his feet before slamming the end of his staff into the ground while spinning on his staff to kick his feet out and take down the last two. As he landed, he gave a smirk towards Silver, annoying her.
"You wouldn't happen to name your weapon Ruyi Jingu Bang, right?" Silver questioned.
"Somewhat. I named them Ruyi Bang and Jingu Bang. Why?" Sun asked back only to see Silver simply rolling her eyes and turning away from him.
Torchwick continued to fire explosive Dust shots from Melodic Cudgel at Blake and Bomb, keeping them at a distance. He directed most of his fire toward Blake, who flipped backwards and left a shadow clone behind to give herself an extra boost backwards for greater distance while Bomb tried to rush Torchwick while blasting fire at him, causing Roman to turn his fire on him, but Bomb managed to sidestep to avoid the blasts and easily close the gap. Torchwick tried to swing his cane at Bomb, but the big guy easily caught it with his gloved hands. Even as Torchwick tried to wrench it free, Bomb wouldn't budge with his grip.
A smirk however fell on the criminal's face.
"What's there to smile about?" Bomb questioned.
"Oh, nothing, just smile for the camera!" Roman grinned as he aimed his cane at Bomb's face and fired a point-blank shot, scoring a headshot and engulfing the big guy in an explosion.
"Bomb!" Blake's eyes widened in shock.
Torchwick grinned victoriously as he tried to pull his cane back, but he still felt it being held back by something. The smoke soon began to clear to reveal that Bomb hadn't even budged an inch, or even slightly injured. At the most, all he had was soot covering most of his face.
Both the criminal and young Huntress-in-training looked in absolute shock as Bomb looked at Roman funny with a raised eyebrow.
"How cute. My turn." He said to Roman with a wide grin as his eyes flashed red and his ponytail burst into flames. Blake's eyes immediately widened when she knew what's going to happen, quickly dashing away with the help of her shadow clone.
BOOM!
Blake has just got out of the blast zone in time by taking cover behind a nearby cargo container as she saw Roman's own Aura flashed with the bright explosion as he was sent flying and crashing through several cargo containers before he fell off the docks and into the cold dark blue ocean.
Blake did see Bomb hold back and save Silver from a Goliath's stomp with his bare hands and later on explode, but to see him not only take a Dust shot to the face and still remain standing was still quite a surprise for her.
"Bomb... are you… okay…?" She asked, slowly walking up to him.
He looked back to her with a confused expression before he bursted into hearty laughs with Melodic Cudgel still in his hand, confusing the black cat Faunus.
"Come on Blake." Bomb said to her. "I have been blowing up a lot. Way more than you can think. So of course explosions from that Litwick guy are more of tickles than actual pain."
"It's Torchwick. Not Litwick." Blake corrected him.
"Oh well." Bomb shrugged. "Silver might want to take a look at this stick though. Let's get back to her." Bomb told her as he spun Melodic Cudgel around.
Corporal Pig looked on to see that most of his Piggy Troopers forces and White Fang agents had been taken down rather swiftly as he witnessed Silver, Red and Ruby slashing around and Penny throwing the Piggy Troopers around as self-defense, causing him to grit his teeth.
"Men! Retreat! We got what we came for! The prototype will finish the job!" He ordered, causing the Pig Troopers to run away, but Terence stomped right in front of some of the Pig Troopers, causing them to scream (or squeal, whichever you prefer) in horror and run to the opposite direction as Terry gave chase.
"Prototype?" Silver wondered to herself, before her thoughts were suddenly interrupted by an ominous sound, getting the attention of our heroes as a flying saucer revealed itself among the dark clouds with its empty cockpit, flashing lights and ominous sounds, causing Ruby to hide behind Red, much to his confusion.
"What is that floating thing?" Ruby asked meekly.
"You mean UFO, short for Unidentified Floating Object. For why it's here… I have no idea." Red replied as everyone saw the UFO descending closer to the ground as it began to shift and change. The bottom of the UFO became bigger and taller , resembling a small tower as multiple cannons emerged from it as well as four large rotatable wheels emerged, which cushioned the transformed UFO's descent with a loud THUD! before the cockpit lights on the UFO flashed red and aimed its cannons at our heroes.
"Retreat!" Red ordered as the tank started firing a concentrated beam of bubbles at them.
Fortunately, all of them were able to take cover behind a very large Dust container as the UFO Bubble Tank continued to fire its cannons as it moved in a circular motion thanks to its wheels.
"Why are we all hiding?! How can a spray of bubbles hurt us?!" Ruby asked.
"Have you seen what the bubbles can do?" Penny asked calmly as she motioned for Ruby to take a peek with her as both girls took a peek behind their cover to see a stream of bubbles hitting several nearby Dust crates, causing the Dust crates to have large dents. Why? There are large rocks inside the large bubbles, like a cannonball that is also a fragmentation grenade, and is fired rapidly thanks to the tank.
"Okay…that might be a problem…" Ruby winced as she and Penny retreated back into their cover as it started making banging noises over the barrage of bubbles and rocks.
"That is a rather unique design." Penny commented.
"Sorry Penny! I can't hear you over the sound of banging!" Bomb shouted while covering his ears, with Melodic Cudgel hanging in his arm.
"Apologies! Allow me to repeat: That is a rather unique design!" Penny shouted back, albeit louder, but oddly never covered her ears.
"Thank you Penny!" Red shouted with his ears covered as well.
"It's that a friend of yours?!" Penny asked, pointing to Silver.
"Yes! My name is Silver! Nice to meet you!" Silver shouted over the continuous pounding noises.
"Salutations! My name is Penny! It's a pleasure to meet a Friend of Red's!" Penny shouted back, causing Silver to give Red a questioning look, only for Red to shrug at her while still covering his ears.
"You guys fought that thing before?!" Silver asked Red as she took a peek at the tank.
"Yes! The Pigs made this during our little space trip, But the trip was years ago, I've forgotten how we managed to destroy it! But it seems that the metal used to make this is Remnant's own metal, how strong do you think it is!?"
"I did a few experiments with Remnant's metals, turns out they are somewhat the same as the metals in our world!" Silver said.
"What?! I can't hear you over the pounding!" Red shouted.
"I said Remnant's metals are the same as our metals!" Silver shouted back to Red.
"I may have an idea…" Silver said when she suddenly noticed Penny walking out of the crate they were hiding in. "Penny! Where are you going?!"
"Do not worry! I'm combat ready!" said a confident Penny before narrowing her eyes at the tank as a compartment in her backpack opened up to produce a sword that splitted into 10 smaller blades, all connected to Penny's back thanks to thin wire cables, much to everyone's surprise.
She made some gestures with her hands to move the swords in front of her, aiming at the UFO Bubble Tank as the swords started to spin rapidly, making loud humming noises as the swords glow a bright green before she threw her fist forward, causing the the swords to fire a massive green energy beam, scoring a direct hit as the tank was pushed back, almost into the water if the tank hadn't revved up its wheels forward to resist the knockback before Penny's beam ceased and the dust settled to reveal that the front armor of the tank was slightly dented and scratched at most.
"Woah…" said an awe-struck Ruby.
"Nice attack!" Bomb said with a thumbs up.
The tank, with its cockpit lights glowing red, then started doing a similar technique as its body started to rotate at rapid speeds, before unleashing bubble beam hell from all of its cannons. Silver was able to run and grab Penny out of the way before she was hit by the bubbles, just as the rest of our heroes dodged the bubble beams in time.
However, a beam of bubbles striked a stack of Dust containers, the impact of the rocks and the exploding bubbles caused the containers to topple and hit nearby containers, causing them to topple as well like a domino effect, some were even launched into the air by the impact. Causing everyone to scatter to avoid the falling containers but Blake happened to trip and fall by accident and looked in shock to see a large container falling toward her.
"Blake!" Ruby was about to speed over and assist her, but suddenly, a black Glyph appeared above Blake just as the container struck, repelling it and sending it flying back up and into the water. At the same time, sounds of a tornado spinning can be heard as Yang and The Blues somehow were flying towards the tank with battle cries, using Ember Celica and Triple Trouble respectively to fire some shots at the tank before Yang punched it with her gauntlets and the Blues hitting it using Triple Trouble as a bat, knocking it slightly backwards as the tank somehow managed to erect a hard light shield, blocking the hits before the tank retaliated by firing its rock filled bubbles at them. Yang dodged and punched the bubbles while the Blues dodged as well, with Jake flinging some green sticky goo around the wheels, with his brothers spamming smoke bombs and cupcake bombs to blind the tank's optics.
Blake, who was still stunned by the sudden save, looked in even further surprise to see a familiar hand extended towards her.
"Weiss…?" She absent-mindedly accepted her hand and stood up as Ruby, Red, Silver and Hal joined her. "Why did…?"
"Okay, We obviously have a lot to talk about…" Weiss began. "But, I'm certain that we can both agree that, whatever that thing is…" She pointed towards the rampaging Bubble Tank. "…It takes priority. So, for the moment, can we put our disagreements aside and work together to stop that thing before somebody gets hurt? And after that… maybe we can have a little heart-to-heart. Deal?"
Though still surprised, Blake knew Weiss was right about this. That UFO tank takes priority, everything else can wait. So, with a firm resolve, she nodded and said, "Deal."
Ruby, Silver, Red and Hal exchanged brief smiles before getting back to the situation at hand. "Okay, we need to plan." Red said before he gave a loud whistle to The Blues to retreat and gather as the tank was busy trying to free itself from the sticky goo and its optics were blinded by the goo and the smoke from the smoke bombs, distracting it further and giving them some time before he turned to Silver. "Silver! Analysis!"
"Roger!" Silver said as she took out her modified scroll and took a quick snapshot of the tank as the scroll showed various statistics of the tank. "From the readings…It's heavily armored, so our attacks shouldn't be able to do much damage to that thing." she said. "In fact, it looks like Penny's attack barely damaged its armor."
"For its Dust ammunition, it seems to have water and rock dust for offense via bubbles and boulders and hard-light Dust for defense." Silver continued. "They are all stored inside in the body of the tank, all connected to all of the gun barrels, if we can somehow make a powerful reaction inside it, we should be able to destroy it from the inside."
"What about its power source? If we can somehow remove it or destroy it, it can also be stopped." Bomb remarked.
"Let's see…" Silver said as she scrolled through the data. "No batteries of any sort…doesn't seem to have electric Dust inside it…wait, what?! No! It can't be! My scroll must be faulty! Silver said anxiously as she refreshed the data on her scroll only for her eyes to widen further when she saw it still shows the same result.
'"What kind of power source in Remnant causes you to be so anxious?" Everyone heard an unknown but somewhat familiar voice as Silver turned around to see Chuck standing beside her.
"EEK!" Silver shrieked in surprise and shock as she kicked Chuck out of self defense, which he managed to avoid in time.
"Yeesh… calm down Silvy, just tell us what you know…" Chuck said.
"Chuck! Where were you?! And stop sneaking up to me like that! The last time The Blues did this to me I almost broke the dorm walls!" Silver scolded Chuck.
"To-answer-your-question-I-was-getting-some-help-they-should-be-on-their-way-and-I'm-sorry-for-scaring-you-now-can-you-please-tell-us-what-power-source-that-thing-has-pretty-please-with-a-cherry-on-top?" Chuck said quickly.
"Alright." Silver said with a sigh. "For some reason…I do not know why, but machines don't lie. Its power source has readings of the EggSpark inside it."
That got the attention of everyone on their team as The Flock's faces turned into a silent mixture of shock and surprise.
"EggSpark…?" Weiss asked, not quite understanding what she heard.
"We'll explain later. It's a long story." Red said quickly. "Now we just need a plan…"
"Wait, I think I got one!" Ruby said to Red as she turned to her partner. "Weiss, can you make multiple glyphs at the same time? Try and block its shots so that the formed rocks will be stuck inside it?"
"I can if it can stay still long enough." She confirmed.
"Okay, we'll all split up and attack from all directions, divide it's attention." Ruby explained as she began to relay her plan. "Weiss, Blake, and I will attack the front to deal with the front cannons. Red, Silver and Bomb will do the same for the right, and The Blues and Hal will take the left. Yang, Chuck and Blake's new friend would attack it from the back. Penny, are those swords of yours connected by wires or something?"
"They are indeed." Penny nodded with a smile, moving her swords for emphasis.
"Alright, you go at that thing's underbelly while it's distracted. Try and tie its legs together or something to keep it from moving around." Ruby continued. "If it gets pinned down enough, it might go on the defensive and fire everything, including its shields. Weiss will use her Glyphs to jam all of the rocks inside, while The Blues, Chuck, Bomb and I will fire down at one of its cannons at the same time. That should cause all the Dust inside to explode and destroy it."
"So what you're saying is that we distract it by fighting it at all sides so that we can focus on each of the cannons as much as we can, giving Penny time to go under and immobilize it, so that when it fires everything to retaliate, Weiss will block off all of the cannons with her glyphs so that the attack will fail so that we can do a chain reaction by shooting volatile Dust inside, causing it to detonate inside and deactivation the tank with the tank's Hard-Light shield minimizing the explosion range? It's brilliant!" Silver said.
"That's… actually a very good strategy." Weiss agreed as well.
"That could work." Hal nodded in approval.
"Great idea!" Bomb said as he, Chuck and Blake and The Blues also nodded in agreement.
"That's my little sis." Yang smirked with pride.
"Let's do it." Red grinned.
"Oh, my name is Sun, by the way. Not "Blake's new friend"." Sun chimed in.
"Alright, less talking, more moving people! Go! Go! Go!" Red ordered as the entire group ran forward and began to encircle the Bubble Tank from all sides, surrounding it as the tank somehow managed to free itself and its optics to some extent, it still has some of the green goo on its wheels and its vision optics as the light inside the empty cockpit glows even redder in anger seeing its targets, lifting up and revving its front wheels before slamming it down like some angry bull, before firing its rock-filled bubbles.
In the front, Ruby and Blake were dodging the shots with their respective semblances, and using their respective weapons to shoot at the tank, with Weiss, shielding herself with a white glyph and also using her rapier to send out various Dust attacks at it.
Meanwhile on the left, Red drew out his sword as he sliced and diced the rocks while also using his voice to propel some of the boulders back at it, hoping it could at least damage it slightly, while Bomb assisted Red by blasting the boulders with his fire and strength, and Silver using Stormfall to slice the boulders as well. While on the right, Jake and Jim flung sticky goo and smoke bombs respectively, with Jay and Hal using their sharpshooting skills at the tank and the bubbles. "This is fun!" Jake commented.
"Focus Jay!" Hal reminded him.
In the back of the tank, Yang used her gauntlets, strength and her semblance to punch the boulders back and fired shotgun blasts at it, with Sun using his staff and Chuck spinning into a tornado to reflect the boulders back as well.
Meanwhile, Penny quickly made her way underneath the underbelly of the Bubble Tank. With it being attacked from all sides and pinned down by the attacks, smoke bombs and sticky goo, it didn't seem to be going anywhere. She took out her blades again, this time in a set of sixteen and sent four out in each direction. Four of the blades tangled around each leg, tying the cables around them before the blades themselves stuck into the armor, piercing through a bit before using her own strength with her cable swords to force the legs to hold still, bringing her hands together to try and bring the legs closer and pin them.
Meanwhile, the attacks seemed to annoy the tank even further, as it erected a barrier of Hard-Light Dust from all sides and it revved up its wheels in an attempt to free itself. But that didn't stop everyone from doing their own melee and ranged attacks, even though the shield shows no signs of damage.
But the unexpected happened. The tank, instead of firing rock-filled bubbles, or bubbles, deactivated its shields and started to blast gushes of water at everyone, catching everyone off guard and knocking them all back and colliding into various Dust Crates.
"This… is difficult…" Penny said in a strained voice. "It is strong… even for me…!"
"Need a hand?"
A feminine voice caught Penny off guard as she whipped her head behind to see the face of a pink haired girl with a black ponytail looking at her with a friendly smile. The girl wore a pink t-shirt with a light pink skirt. She also wore black knee high socks with pink and white sneakers along with a giant pink bubble wand attached to her back.
Before Penny could say anything, the girl already dashed past her to grab the legs of the wheels that are furthest from Penny. "Grab the legs nearest to you! On the count of three, get ready to pull!" The girl told her.
"Request acknowledged. I appreciate your help." Penny said in gratitude as she motioned her swords to the remaining legs, eight swords to each leg this time.
"May I know your name?" Penny asked the girl.
"Call me Stella." The girl replied.
"Salutations! My name is Penny!" Penny introduced herself to Stella.
"Nice to meet you, Penny." Stella replied with a smile.
Meanwhile, a soaked Team RWBY and The Flock were trying to pick themselves back up.
"Everyone alright?" Red asked as he helped Silver get back to her feet.
'We're…ow…fine…" Ruby groaned. Even though both Team RWBY and The Flock have a few cuts and bruises here and there. Team RWBY doesn't look quite alright. Ruby is dangerously swaying left and right, seemingly on the verge of fainting, Weiss is struggling to get up, using Myrtenaster as leverage as she gets to her knee. Yang is using Chuck as a human crutch, and Hal is using a tissue provided from Bomb to soak up blood from Blake's knee. Monkey boy is surprisingly fine though.
"You guys don't seem fine. All of your auras are almost in the red." Silver said as she managed to save Ruby in time from falling over and hurting herself further.
"You guys take a break, we'll handle this."
"But we want to help!" Ruby protested.
"She's right Ruby. Unless they got some miracle medicine lying around, we can't help them out right now." Blake said to Ruby, causing Ruby to sulk in acceptance and defeat.
Suddenly, three violet egg-shaped fireballs came raining down on them. Not having enough time to flee, everyone closed their eyes and braced for impact, only to feel nothing at all other than feeling refreshed and invigorated, as if they were never injured!
"What…?" Weiss said in disbelief as she found herself able to get up easily now as everyone noticed that the cuts and bruises on their bodies have completely vanished. Before anyone could ask about what just happened, a woman ran past them. The woman has short white hair with black and pink ends. She has black eyes with faint pink spots on her cheeks. She wears a white skirt with black and pink lines along the skirt with a white sleeved crop top with mostly black and pink shoulder straps.
The woman stopped running and turned towards Team RWBY and The Flock after realizing that they were still not moving.
"Why are you guys standing around here?! I've just healed you! Get back to the fight!" the woman told them.
"Matilda?!" Silver said with a happy gasp upon recognizing the woman's voice before running to Matilda to give her a big hug.
"Aw…miss me already?" Matilda asked as she embraced the hug and patted Silver's head before she turned serious. "Let's deal with this thing first, then later we'll do the reunion celebration." Matilda suggested, which Silver nodded.
"Alright people! Time to wrap things up!" Silver told her teammates.
Not needing to be told twice, Team RWBY and The Flock went full speed ahead and followed Matilda and Silver back to the fight.
"Alright…on three…one…two..." Stella said as she and Penny were busy holding the legs of the tank.
"Three!" Stella shouted as she and Penny slowly pushed the legs of the Bubble Tank together until the legs were brought together as the wheels connected to legs started to rev up, an attempt made by the tank when it noticed that it is losing its own footing, but to little effect as Penny and Stella were still holding onto the legs to prevent it from freeing itself.
"N…Now…Bubbles!" Stella yelled.
"Y'all ready to get funky?!" a boy that is about the same height and age as The Blues shouted as he hopped off a nearby crane, freefalling towards the tank. The boy had black eyes and orange hair, he wore an orange hoodie with black long shorts along with orange and black shoes. He also wore a black futuristic visor with blue lenses. On his back, he carried a large red and yellow boombox, in which he took out during his freefall and quickly pressed a series of buttons on the boombox, causing the boombox to sprout out a handle, in which Bubbles grabbed hold of as the boombox started to unfold itself into a large hammer that was the height of an average adult man.
"Hammer Time!" Bubbles shouted as he swinged his hammer towards the roof of the cockpit, causing it to crack a little as the increase in pressure caused the wheels of the tank to be hammered down into the ground, pinning the tank further as Penny and Stella let go of the legs and ran out of the underbelly as Bubbles continued to hammer the tank further down to the ground. The cockpit roof also erected a hard-light shield to block the hammer attacks, but it doesn't seem to bother Bubbles as he continually hammers the shield.
"Hey! Let me have a go too!" Stella shouted as she ran up the hard-light Dust shields onto the cockpit as she took out her large bubble wand and hammered the roof shield as well. "Hey Stella, wanna finish this together?" Bubbles asked as they pounded the shield upon noticing their attacks didn't seem to affect it.
"You read my mind!" Stella replied with a smirk before jumping over Bubbles as he stretched his arms aways from his body to produce a large wind barrier around Stella and himself as Stella did the same to produce a pink bubble forcefield around her, causing the air barrier to slowly rise to the sky thanks to the pink bubble. It flew high into the air for some time before the bubbles rose pass the height of a nearby crane, as Stella and Bubbles deactivated their respective shields and took out their weapons and swung them down as gravity do the work for them, in which Team RWBY and The Flock plus monkey boy watched as the pink and orange duo slowly falling into the tank like a meteor.
With a very loud WHAM! produced by the strong force of Bubbles and Stella's weapons colliding into the cockpit shield, the tank was forced deeper into the ground as the legs and wheels were now buried deep into the ground as Bubbles and Stella backflipped into where Team RWBY, Penny and The Flock is and gave each other a fist bump.
Before anyone could say or do anything, everyone saw the shields disappearing and all of the cannon's interiors started to glow blue again, preparing to unleash its bubble storm again.
"Weiss! Now!" Ruby quickly told her.
The heiress aimed Myrtenaster at the UFO Bubble tank and focused, causing various flat and vertical Glyphs manifested in each of its cannons, keeping the attacks back, creating a buildup of water and rocks in the mouths, causing the tank to start emitting sparks all over as a piece of armor from the tank popped out.
"Chuck! Bomb! Blues!" Ruby yelled at the top of her lungs, hoping they could hear her, and they did. With nods, the three boys rushed over to Ruby's side as Weiss waved Myrtenaster at the tank again, causing a Glyph that covers one of the cannons to vanish, as Ruby used her sniper mode of Crescent Rose to fire a shot into the cannon hole, as Bomb focused his power to produce a small fireball on his palm and like a professional baseball pitcher, threw the fireball into the cannon hole as The Blues fired Ice, Lightning and Fire Dust powered energy arrows into it as well. Lastly, Chuck, took a stick of his weapon, Thunderbolt, and spun it around on his hand, before transforming the nunchuck stick into a small blaster, in which he aimed at the cannon hole and said, "Omae wa mou shindeiru." , before firing a blue electric blaster bolt into the cannon hole.
The chained reaction caused the tank to emit more sparks and shake as loud warning sirens could be heard coming from the tank as the tank activated its shields and spun them around.
BOOM!
A large explosion of water, electricity and bits of rock and metal lit up the area as the tank was obliterated. Fortunately, Bubbles was able to project his air barrier to protect everyone from the explosion, so everyone waited until the explosion died down to see a black crater in the middle of the wrecked shipping yard.
"That…was...a lot bigger explosion than what I thought it was gonna be…" Ruby commented.
"But we did it! Great job everyone!" Hal said.
"That was some good thinking there." Chuck praised.
"I'm flattered. Oh yeah, that reminds me… YOU-HAVE-A-GUN-NOW?!" Ruby said with stars in her eyes.
"Yeah, Chuck's sticks can now transform into blasters now!" Silver replied.
"That's what I wanted to say when I went into your team's dorm last night. I managed to make a machine that can make and modify weapons now! If you want, I can repair, fix, upgrade or make brand new weapons. Trust me, I have a lot of experience!"
"Can I help out too? I have several ideas!" Ruby asked.
"Of course! The more the merrier!" Silver replied with a smile.
"What do you name that fancy machine of yours?" Yang chimed in as she gave her little sister a big hug, much to Ruby's frustration.
"The name of the machine is still pending though…" Silver said with a small awkward laugh.
"I know! We can discuss the name right now! I'm thinking…maybe… "Weapon Analyzer"?"
"How about "Weapon Printer " ?" Yang suggested.
"I think "Weaponizer" sounds better!" Ruby suggested as well.
"Oh really? I was thinking of the name, "Metal Anvil"." Chuck chimed in.
As Yang, Ruby, Silver and Chuck were discussing names, Blake nervously approached Weiss with The Blues and Hal watching.
"Weiss…listen…it's not what you think…" Blake started.
"I want you to know that I'm no longer associated with the White Fang. Back when I was with the-"
"Stop! Do you have any idea of how long we've been searching for you?" Weiss said.
"Twelve hours. That means I've had twelve hours to think about this. And in those twelve hours, I've decided...I don't care."
"You...don't care?" asked a surprised Blake.
"I know what the White Fang did in the past, and I'm not blind to humanity's own crimes or what the Schnee Dust Company has done under my father's leadership, but that's no excuse for the White Fang's current actions that will eventually lead them into the same morally gray area as the Schnee Dust Company. Today, I won't stand for this and I don't want this to happen. I acknowledge that humanity is far from perfect and not every Faunus is part of the White Fang, and as a Huntress, it is my sworn duty to protect the innocent and fight for what's right. And I shall start by apologizing to you. Despite being a huntress, I failed to realize that despite you being part of the White Fang, you are still my teammate and friend. You were only in the White Fang to make a peaceful resolve but left after realizing what they were slowly turning into. My attitude before was unacceptable and for this, I am sorry for what I did. All I ask is that the next time something this big comes up... you'll come to your teammates, and not some...someone else." Weiss said as she looked at Sun in particular before turning back to Blake. "But personal friends outside our team that we've known would also count." Weiss said as she briefly turned towards Silver who was still discussing.
Blake did not expect Weiss to come out and apologize to her like this. But since she understands her own situation, Blake gave a smile small as she nodded her head. "It's fine, I'm glad you finally understand." she said as she gave the heiress a hug, in which Weiss embraced, bringing warm smiles to The Blues and Hal.
"So…where were you guys?" Bomb asked the newly arrived group.
"All three of us ended up on a small island called Patch." Stella replied.
"The people are very kind, even offering us a ride to this city." Matilda added.
"And we wandered around, stopped a few robberies here and there, and then Chuck found us." Bubbles added as well as he helped himself to a lollipop.
"You guys were in Patch? How was the place?" Bomb asked again.
"Three words: Peaceful." Stella said.
"Quiet." Matilda said as well.
"And secluded." Bubbles chimed in as he removed his visors.
As the group celebrated their victory, Ruby had her attention drawn to the rubble in the crater. She could have sworn she heard a humming noise ringing in her head, one that seemed to draw her in closer.
"Ruby…?" Yang noticed her sister already sliding down into the crater, with everyone right behind her.
She was already at the pile, seeing a faint blue light in the middle of it. Using her hands, she shuffled through the pile before finding the source of said light. She found a glowing shard with intricate markings that produced sparks when she picked it up with her hand.
"A shard of the EggSpark..." Hal observed.
"It's… kinda beautiful." Weiss observed.
"How can something so small be so powerful?" Yang asked.
"It appears to be emanating an energy I am unfamiliar with." Penny observed.
"That's the EggSpark." Red answered. "Back at home, this thing fell down from the sky in an egg shape, all we know is that it is capable of massive power such as powering the bubble tank that we fought."
"Hence the name, huh?" Sun noted.
Ruby couldn't stop herself from staring at the EggSpark shard in her hand. There was something about it that drew her to it. The more she stared into it, the more she could practically see the energy radiating from it. Like it was breathing, talking to her…
ZAP!
"Ow!" Ruby yelped as she felt a sharp pain in her fingers and let go of the shard, the feeling she had now escaping her.
"Oops, I forgot. Try not to touch it. This thing is capable of transmogrification." Silver said as she slid down into the pile and quickly inspected Ruby's hands and breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing Ruby had no injuries or visible changes.
"I feel like I've touched a needle infused with fire and electric Dust. What exactly is this transformgification?" Ruby asked Silver.
"It's transmogrification." Silver corrected her. "To make it simple for you, touch it and you will turn into something." Silver said, causing Ruby to widen her eyes in shock. "Relax, that's only a shard, and you are still you. You'll be fine." Silver assured her as she took another empty energon container out from her black backpack as well as a silver chrome and black grabber arm to pick up the sparking glowing shard, carefully placing it in the energon container before closing it and putting all of them back into her bag.
"Padron me for interrupting, but I must go." Penny said to everyone as she turned around and proceeded to walk away.
"Wait, Penny, where are you going?" Ruby asked.
"Home." She answered.
"Okay, thank you for the help today. See you around." Red gave her a friendly smile and a wave. Penny returned with a smile before walking away.
"Is she really walking all the way back to her home?" Yang questioned.
"I'm sure she'll probably catch a taxi or a ride home." Hal said before the group heard some sirens coming their way. "Now all we gotta worry about is what to do next now that the police are coming."
"I doubt they're gonna be happy about all the collateral damage." Jay gestured to the completely destroyed shipping yard around them.
"Well, we got several eyewitnesses, right?" Ruby said hopefully. "Right, Sun…?" She only looked in shock to see Sun was already gone, leaving a dotted silhouette of where he once stood.
"Somehow, that doesn't surprise me." Silver commented with a sigh.
"My mind has not changed about him being a rapscallion." Weiss said disapprovingly.
Blake gave a humorous scoff. "Believe it or not, he's actually a student from Haven."
"You're right, I don't believe it." Weiss replied.
"Well, I guess we better get back to Beacon. The dinner I made must be getting cold now." Matilda suggested, which everyone nodded in agreement and went back to Beacon.
Red stopped in his tracks momentarily as he glanced upward towards the shattered moon in the sky. Smooth Cheeks has made his move, and he seems to be working against the White Fang. Something told him that things were not gonna be easy going forward in the future now that both parties are in a new different world with new friends to make and new enemies to fight. But since everyone in The Flock has been found and reunited, maybe they can work against those odds.
Meanwhile, in the back seat of a limo, Penny watched her new friends walking away, before seeing a large muscular man in red leaping down behind Team RWBY and The Flock before turning around and noticing the limo, giving a small smile and waved at Penny, in which Penny waved back in confusion as the man started to shrink from her view.
"You should know better than to go running around in a strange city." The limo's driver told her.
"I know, sir." Penny said sadly while lowering her head.
Meanwhile, back at Beacon, Professor Ozpin sat in his office, looking at the data pad in his hands, watching a video feed of the massive fight in the shipping yard. He then looked at the message that had been attached to it. The sender went under the name 'Qrow', and the only message that the sender sent reads:
Queen has pawns and the King has made his move.
Ozpin looked with a serious expression as It would seem that his eternal struggle now had a third player, one that was just as dangerous as someone he knew was. With a heavy sigh, Ozpin began to respond to Qrow's message, giving him his next set of instructions.
(MEANWHILE…)
Torchwick limped his way back to a hideout, having been picked up from the water by something flying during the fight. But Roman was so injured that he couldn't look up to see who saved him, all he knows is that it makes jet noises before the unknown thing tossed him into the ground near his hideout. He gave an annoyed sigh as he entered the hideout.
"Ow…Ow…" Roman groaned in pain as he rested his tired and burnt body onto a chair to rest and gave a heavy tired sigh.
"How the hell does someone like him explode so hard…?"
"How very disappointing, Roman…I expected better from you." a voice rang in Roman's ears as the door opened again for three more individuals to walk in. The one in the front was a young fair-skinned woman with bright amber eyes and black hair with a ponytail that hung over her shoulder while wearing a dark red mini dress with black shorts underneath her dress and black high heels. There were also two more people behind her, a young man and a young woman. The young man has gray hair and eyes and wears a mostly gray and black jacket, while the young woman has dark skin with dark red eyes and light, mint-green hair, wearing a revealing olive-green top with white cropped pants with brown chaps that attach to her brown belt.
"Oh hey Cinder." Roman groaned upon seeing the young woman in the front.
"It was a disaster!" he exclaimed. "We didn't get even a speck of Dust from all that! Working with those mutts was your idea, by the way!"
"And you'll keep working with them as long as we tell you." Cinder told him, producing a flame in her hands as her eyes glowed. "All we ask is... a little cooperation."
"It is true that a little cooperation goes a long way, but burning someone alive doesn't seem to be good cooperation, mademoiselle…" an unknown voice entered everyone's ears as a silhouette of a man stepped forward in front of Roman and company.
"And who are you supposed to be? An intruder?" Cinder asked as she brought the flame on her hands towards the shadow, illuminating where the silhouette was to reveal that it was a man wearing white chef wear, he has a white chef hat, green t-shirt, long blue jeans and a white chef's apron with a black emblem of three cracked eggs and a pig snout on it.
"An intruder? Oh no, I'm afraid you are mistaken, mon amie…" The man said as he twirled his french mustache. "On the contrary…."
"He is our new ally and he will be assisting you in the future. Stand down." a mysterious feminine voice boomed through the hideout as a jelly-fish like Grimm creature revealed itself from the shadows with its black round head resembling a smoky crystal ball along with six long red tentacles.
Upon hearing the mysterious woman's orders, Cinder extinguished the flame on her hand as she narrowed her eyes at the chef and walked back to where she originally was.
"Pleased to meet everyone here, you can call me…Chef Pig." Chef Pig introduced himself to everyone as he bowed down elegantly with a grin.
"Ah, Roman. It seems that one of my minions had managed to locate you and rescued you." Chef Pig said as he looked at the tired Roman.
"Why are you named Chef Pig? You don't have a name?" Torchwick asked.
"I do, but my name is so long that I believe it would be reasonable to call me by my job title. It's easier and faster." Chef Pig replied.
"Now, back to the business at hand, according to my minion's intel, Roman not only encountered my enemies, The Flock, but it seems that my other enemy has made his moves as well. I told you about the threats that they pose, didn't I?"
"Yes, I remember what you told me about them." The mysterious voice boomed through the jelly-fish like Grimm creature.
"Red and his team may have faced off many powerful adversaries in the past…But they never faced anything like me before."
"And none of them would be the wiser, including that dumb fat king!" Chef Pig said before putting on a sinister grin while rubbing his hands together.
DONE! Everyone is here! LAP 2 IS ON IT'S WAY! I mean Volume 2/Season 2. I hope you guys like King Pig's personality. I made him somewhat smart, inspired by the King Pig of Angry Birds On The Run and/or Super Angry Birds because let's face it, how is King Pig gonna be an actual threat to our heroes and you know who if he is a dumb and ineffective leader? So I added aspects of each piggy antagonist such as Leonard from the movies, the one from Angry Birds On The Run and a little bit of stupidity from the Toons cartoons because it is the rules of nature that green pigs are silly and dumb such as their ability to build wacky things such as the tank.
Speaking of the tank, the UFO thing appeared in Angry Birds Space as the first boss of the first stage Pig Bang where it fires boulders and vegetables wrapped in bubbles. It has no name, so I just called it the UFO Bubble Tank because it is a UFO that transforms into a tank that shoots bubbles and boulders with no veggies this time. Don't worry, the tank is not the only machine of conquest the pigs are building, and Chef Pig switched(?) sides to get the crown for himself, not a big surprise here.
I'm sure all of you are wondering: How are the pigs able to make a portal that grants them access to the world of Remnant? Well...buckle up in the next chapter as we go...TO THE PORK SIDE! (insert evil laughter here)
