RING A DINGA LING LING LING! Time for Season 2! Or as I like to call it, "The Countdown Before The Fall" arc has begun. What further developments are The Flock planning? What are the Pigs (plus Chef Pig) scheming? And what will happen next? Only time will tell.

Anyways… enjoy the start of Volume 2/ Season 2. That's why you are here, no?

(Midnight, Silver's Lab)

"Alright…this should do it…" Silver said to herself quietly as she grabbed the two gray handles and pushed them together, causing the orange orb-like container that is connected to the handles to make a sound of a single click.

Silver then gave a quiet sigh as she placed the container containing the EggSpark shard down at the computer table, under the lone lit lamp as she turned her swivel chair around to see Terence lying down on the floor, sleeping on his face before yawning softly.

"Maybe…I can sleep here for now…so…sleepy…" Silver thought to herself as she locked the Eggspark container into a secure safe below the computer table before she rested her head on the computer table.

Until her scroll started ringing loudly.

"Gah!" Silver yelped in shock as she was jolted awake from the noise before she reached for her scroll and quickly answered it.

"H-Hello?..."

"Young Silver! Thank goodness I found you!" An overjoyed voice of a somewhat familiar old man entered Silver's ears.

"Um…who are you?" Silver slowly asked through her scroll.

"You forgot? Who do you think gave you that biplane for your 10th birthday?"

"P-Professor?! Is that you?!"

"Attagirl! How are you and your friends doing at Beacon?"

"Wait, how did you know I'm at Beacon? And how did you get my contact number? How did you end up in Remnant?"

"This place is called Remnant? Interesting…Well, to answer your question, it's kind of a long story…" Professor Pig said as he began to tell his story.

(A long time ago, Piggy Island, after the EggSpark was launched off into space by Chuck/Bumblebee)

"It's not my fault…" Foreman Pig protested. "It was-"

"I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT!" yelled a very angry King Pig.

"From any of you! I'm hungry, I'm tired, I'm eggless, and this has been a…a…"

"Ridiculous?" Chef Pig suggested.

"...Ridiculous day!" King Pig continued. "At least I don't have to walk anymore. Legs…yeuchh!" King Pig said in disguise as he slumped back on his chair that his three minion pigs were carrying. Normally there would be four carrying the chair, but the last minion pig was launched off into space to who knows where, so now there were three.

"Yeah, we all did-"

"Stuff that we'd never-"

"Do on our own…right…?" The three tired minion pigs said as they carried their king back home.

(Kitchen of The Pig Palace, Night)

"Ugh...this is exhausting…" Chef pig groaned as he lay on the floor of his kitchen resting.

"That fat oaf will never stop eating and eating! And I almost got the crown from him as Soundwave! Somehow and someway…by hook or by crook…that crown will be mine!"

"Who are you talking to?" a pig's voice asked Chef Pig.

"What does it look like I'm doing? I'm resting and I'm talking to some illusion." Chef Pig said annoyingly.

"In other worlds and dimensions, I may be an illusion. But here, I'm no illusion." The pig said as he revealed himself in front of Chef Pig. It was a minion-sized pig with a large snout with asymmetrical nostrils, a big chin, dark brown mustache and wore a purple hat and silver goggles with red lens.

"Oh hey Porko." Chef Pig said as he slowly got back up to greet his scheming friend. "Back from your little science vacation with Doctor Pig?"

"Why yes." Hektor Porko replied. "The doctor has shown me a lot of scientific potential that I haven't thought of. In fact, we were planning to do a little experiment with our efforts together. Care to join us?"

"I don't see why not." Chef Pig said as he followed Porko to the throne room, in which Porko moved the throne to reveal a secret lab in the back, with a white hair and mustache pig with blue goggles inside making some final touches to a large metal ring-shaped portal with a screwdriver.

"Ah, Chef Pig! Glad you finally made it." Doctor Pig greeted with a sinister smile.

"Really? you and Hektor made another portal?" Chef Pig remarked upon witnessing the inactive portal. "The last time the king asked you to make a deadly monster or asked Hektor to deal with the birds with his mirror dimension portal, they all backfired."

"It's not just another portal." Hektor explained. "As you know, the mirror dimension portal was made when I discovered the space portals made by that ice bird and modified it to my liking. We discovered a remarkable artifact buried here in Piggy Island when we got back from our vacation and decided to use it."

"What kind of artifact?" Chef Pig asked as he studied the multiple blueprints on a nearby green blackboard.

"This little thing!" said as he used a plier to reveal a small glowing shard to Chef Pig.

"Wait! Don't…!" Chef Pig shouted as he realized what the shard actually is, but it was too late as placed the shard into the inactive portal in slow motion. As the shard made contact with the portal, the portal started humming to life before it returned back to silence.

"What?" There's nothing wro-" Hektor spoke too soon as the portal suddenly made a loud BOOM! sound that echoed throughout Pig City, causing all of the city's lights to flicker on as the three pigs were sent hurling everywhere.

"Did…you use the power of this little thing at the space portal?" Chef Pig asked slowly as he emerged from a pile of crates.

"Yes. Why the tone?" Doctor Pig asked as he got up from the floor, his hair messed up.

"That little shard almost wiped out Piggy Island!" Chef Pig cried.

"And you just…used it to power some space portal…?!"

"I don't see why not." Hektor said with a mischievous grin as he took a good look at the glowing portal.

"Now we mutated the space portal, who knows where in time and space it would take us. It could be another galaxy, the past or the future, or even a new dimension that I haven't explored before!"

"What's this about exploring?!" A loud voice echoed through the lab, causing all three pigs to turn around to see a bunch of minion pigs, Foreman Pig, Corporal Pig and even King Pig, staring at the trio. Although the majority of the pigs looked tired and slightly annoyed, King Pig is boiling mad.

"Why is there a space portal in my lab?! I decreed that there will be no more space projects since those birds stopped my plans for galaxy domination!" King Pig roared.

"Technically, that's my lab, I built it after all." Doctor Pig whispered.

"Shush! Let me do the talking!" Chef Pig whispered back before clearing his throat.

"Sorry to disturb your beauty sleep, my sleepiness." Chef Pig said with a bow.

"You see…I know you are very desperate to get your hands on The Flock's eggs. So I made this portal for you so that you can go get the bird's eggs. The best of all is that it doesn't go to space!"

It was a moment of awkward silence as King Pig continued to glare at the sweating Chef Pig who was smiling awkwardly. Until the portal made a loud humming sound that caught everyone's attention, as they saw a TNT crate that was near the portal being sucked in, followed by various books, papers and various lab equipment, even the EggSpark shard as the portal started to suck everything in its path. Including every single pig at the scene!

It was utter chaos, everyone tried to grab hold of something to resist the pull, but majority of them were unfortunately dragged into the portal, their screams and squeals quickly drowned out as they were absorbed into the portal that keeps on increasing its sucking power, as if it was hungry for more pigs.
Eventually, all of the pigs were sucked in, except for King Pig biting on a railing with Chef Pig using his piggy tail to hook on to the King's tail.

"Goo idea, Cheft!" King Pig told him angrily as he continued to bite onto the railing.

"Well, I thought that you would be ready to get your eggs by now?" Chef Pig smiled sheepishly before panicking in silence after seeing his hat flying into the portal.

"I was sleeping! I need my nap!" King Pig shouted angrily, causing him to let go of the railing.

Both pigs, realizing what is going to happen next, slowly shifted eyes to the railing, then towards the portal, before looking at each other.

"I hate you!" King Pig shouted as he and Chef Pig were sucked into the purple glowing portal. Before the portal stopped sucking and remained activated, with blue and black electricity slowly swirling around the portal.

(Somewhere…)

"Ow…." King Pig groaned as he slowly opened his eyes. He was lying down on some soft grass, able to see the black sky filled with tiny shiny stars…and a broken moon?

"What the heck…?" King Pig looked in confusion as he got up, but then he sensed something was amiss. Why? One, he seemed taller. Two, he is wearing somewhat uncomfortable clothes. Lastly, he had two long things right in front of him.

"What in the…?!" King Pig said in surprise as he quickly stood up to his full height thanks to his knowledge of human movement from his time as Megatron Pig.

"Ah, you're finally awake." Chef Pig's voice rang into Smooth Cheek's ears as he saw a mustached man in chef's wear approaching him.

"What did you do this time?!" King Pig shouted, causing the remaining transformed pigs to immediately recover from their unconsciousness. "What happened to us?!"

"Uhhh…. We transformed into something that resembles our EggSpark forms and ended up elsewhere?" Corporal Pig answered as he sat on the ground.

"I can see that!" King Pig shot back frustratingly.

"Well, you asked." Corporal Pig replied with a shrug.

"The question is where are we that has a broken moon in the sky?! And how do we get out of here?!"

"Isn't it obvious? My dear king? We are in a different world now! A new dimension completely!" Porko shouted with glee as the moonlight shined on his glasses.

"I believe sir, that all of this was caused by the EggSpark." Foreman Pig said as he stood up, using his hands to dust off dirt on his green long-sleeved t-shirt, his brown pants and his black belt with white pockets. "We all gained these new forms when the EggSpark powered space portal sucked us all in, and we ended up here."

"In a different dimension…where there are no Angry Birds around to stop me from doing anything…" King Pig said as he slowly came to realization before narrowing his eyes and giving a big sinister grin.

"Everyone! Change of plans!" King Pig shouted, getting the attention of every "pig" there.

"From now on, this island will now be under Pig property! Under the new name, "Piggy Island II! This shall be our new home! Safe from those Angry Birds! Now get building! Chop down those trees for wood, we can grow some more later! Find some stones or other building materials to support those wooden buildings! Be sure to build my palace first! It is the most important! Corporal Pig! I want you to send in scouts to take as many resources as possible! Foreman Pig! Assemble your Engineering Guild to build some boats for the scouts!"

"Yes sir!" Both pigs replied with a salute beginning to do their work.

"Someone build me a throne too! I'm tired!" King Pig also shouted.

"Chef! I want you to accompany the scouts to look for food. I'm starving!"

"Um…yes, your hungriness!" Chef Pig said as he scampered off to join Corporal Pig.

(Elsewhere)

"Isn't it beautiful? We ended in a strange new world. One that has a broken moon, in fact! Think of the infinite possibilities we can do! All thanks to this little shard!" Hektor said to as he held up a transparent bottle containing 2 small EggSpark shards.

"Now what do we even do with them now?" Dr. Pig asked Hektor as he examined the shards.

"We don't even know it's full potential. And these are our last 2 shards after using the first one for the portal."

"Oh, I know what to do with them." King Pig said with a wide grin as he snatched the bottle away from Hektor.

(Back to the present)

"...And when my good friend Chronicler Pig woke me up from my unconsciousness. Courtney told me what happened. It was a bit difficult to move this strange new body, but remembering how you were able to walk and move easily during your time as Windblade, helped me to learn how to move around quicker and easier." Professor Pig said as he finished telling his story to his adopted daughter.

"So, do you have any idea where you and the other Pigs are right now? Like some coordinates or something? We really need to know Smooth Cheek's location so that we can end this madness." Silver spoke through her scroll.

"Unfortunately…no. We don't even know where we are right now." Professor Pig admitted. "Piggy Island II is still in construction and there seems to be no satellites here so I don't know the coordinates I'm in. I have to make a communications device out of an old broken radio that washed ashore at the beach. It took 2 nights for me and Courtney to repair and repurpose the radio so that we are able to contact you. She says hi by the way. And for some strange reason, a minion pig happened to tell me that you and the rest of your friends are in a school called Beacon Academy, and he even knows your phone number. That's how I'm able to contact you."

"Well, regarding the satellites, there aren't any in Remnant." Silver explained. "Majority of the the technology uses energy crystals called Dust. It's impressively powerful, but the energy becomes inert when it is outside the planet's atmosphere. Hence, no space travel, no satellites. As for the information you got about me, does that mean...?"

"Yes, I believe someone has found you and is currently spying on you. I suggest you and your friends be on high alert for anything suspicious. I will update you from time to time. I believe you should rest now. You've got a lot to do."

"Alright. Stay safe, dad." Silver said.

"You too, Silver." Professor Pig said back before Silver hung up, leaving herself to her own thoughts.

(In another flashback to explain how Chef Pig met Salem, when Piggy Island II made some progress…)

"There you are, Chef." Doctor Pig said as he entered his own partially built lab, to see Chef Pig at a table with several small partially-built robotic frames lying around, staring at a computer monitor.

"Where were you? The king was so hungry that he was fuming mad."

"But it looks like you guys handle it just fine." Chef Pig said indifferently.

"Well, yes, we got him to try out some instant noodles that the scouts had found. Now what are you doing?"

"Surveillance." Chef Pig replied as Dr. Pig went behind Chef Pig to see camera footage of something traversing above the vast sea at high speeds.

"Did you make a drone?"

"Yes. Since we are in a new world called Remnant, I figured that it would be helpful for us to know more about this curious world. According to a world map that the scouts found, the regions in Remnant are…kind of small and limited compared to the regions we have back home. And the continent that resembles a dragon intrigues me, so I sent a drone that I made to investigate the place." Chef Pig explained.

"But how do you know where to go?" Hektor asked, apparently snuck up behind them, surprising them as well.

"Well…." Chef Pig said as he regained his composure. "The drone has been flying for 3 days now. So far, I was able to find the Kingdom of Vacuo, Vale and Atlas. So by my calculations and the map readings, it should be going on the right path now. Ah, speak of the devil…we are here."

The three scheming pigs all went silent as they gazed at the footage of the "drone", which showed the blue sky gradually turning into a dark red color as the drone approached the island, the environment being dark as the sky and bleak, with no visible lifeforms or vegetation, but the island is littered with enormous dark crystals sprouting up from the ground.

Deciding that he needs a higher inspection altitude, Chef Pig typed some commands on the keyboard, causing the drone to slowly ascend and dip into the clouds. As the drone continued its flight, The pigs then noticed some black blobs in the island. Zooming in, they could see several black bird-like beasts flying around the island. Thankfully the drone was small and quite nimble, and it had no aura, so they didn't notice the "drone". The pigs could also see several other beasts with a similar appearance on the island grounds roaming about.

"Fascinating…those black beasts resemble mythical creatures or animals that we know back home." Dr. Pig observed. "It would be nice if I have one for myself to experiment on."

"I'm sure you will." Chef Pig said before noticing a strange speck in the distance as the drone approached.

The strange speck became clearer and larger to reveal a tall crystal tower-like structure, causing the pigs to gawk in awe as the drone flew higher and found a landing platform with a man-made door, which the drone opened easily by pushing it with its "legs" as it flew inside.

"So this crystal structure is a building…" Hektor said as he observed the interior. "This place is giving me castle vibes, probably because of the walls and the candles."

"It could be a castle. This place just screams it." Chef Pig said as he navigated the drone around the interior before he heard something that broke the silence.

"Did you hear that?"

"Footsteps…" Hektor replied.

"Someone is inside this castle?! Brilliant! It could be the owner of this rather fine establishment!" Dr. Pig said rather excitingly.

"Well then, let's see who's there…" Chef Pig said with a shrug as he maneuvered the drone to the source of the footsteps.

(Conference Hall)

The doors suddenly opened, causing the attendees to all look towards the door. The attendees consisted of Cinder, along with the dark skinned girl with mint-green hair and the young man with gray hair, a tall, slightly tanned middle aged man with quite a thick mustache, a tall and muscular man that could possibly rival Bomb and/or Terence in size. And lastly, a scorpion Faunus.

It was a woman who bears a resemblance to the creatures outside, wearing a black dress and having pale white skin with black veins along her arms, her neck and her face. As the woman stepped inside, she looked at everyone in the room with her cold and calculative black and red eyes before sitting down on her throne.

"I believe all of you know why I gathered you here today." The woman named Salem spoke.

"Finally! It is time for us to strike! The entire world shall tremble and bow down to our queen's supreme might as the world burns in darkness!" The scorpion Faunus named Tryian laughed maniacally.

"I appreciate the enthusiasm, Tyrian. But now's not the time to show our hand yet." Salem told him. "We still have much more planning to do. Hence this meeting."

"Watts, what is your progress on the virus?" Salem asked as she turned to the man with the thick mustache.

"Nearly finished, just need to add in the finishing touches and it should be ready for use." The man named Arthur Watts said as he used his scroll to show Salem his progress, in which she nodded in understanding.

"Hazel. Do you have any intel regarding the whereabouts of the Fall Maiden?" Salem asked as she turned to the tall muscular man next.

"Yes." The muscular man named Hazel replied. "I found out that Ozpin kept her at Beacon, so I believe Cinder's plan of infiltration seems like a good idea."

Salem said nothing as she was mulling it over, before she spoke up.

"Very well. Tyrian?" she said as she turned to the scorpion faunus.

"Yes, my queen?" Tyrian asked back.

"I need you to deliver a Seer to Lionheart at Haven Academy so that I can check on him." Salem told him.

"Right away, your grace!" Tyrian said quickly as he rose from his seat before Salem put up her hand to stop him.

"Settle down. We have not concluded our meeting yet. You can do what I ask you to do when we are done." Salem told him.

"S-Sorry, My Queen!" Tyrian said as he quickly sat back down.

"Speaking of Seers, I'm going to need one too if you're going to negotiate with Adam regarding the White Fang alliance." Cinder said to Salem.

"I will make an arrangement to give you both Seers after this meeting." Salem told Cinder simply.

"I'm not trying to be a mood killer here, but what happens when our team gets captured during our infiltration? Ozpin is wise after all, so he must have a lot of countermeasures planned." Emerald spoke up.

"An excellent question, Emerald." Salem replied. "But I know Ozpin very well, whatever he has in store, I will always be ready for it. Tyrian has already kindly volunteered to get you out in the unlikely scenario that you got caught. Lionheart may also be suitable for the job, but I need to talk to him first."

(Some time later…)

"Alright, that will be all, dismissed." Salem told her inner circle, as they all got out of their seats and went out to do what she told them to do, leaving Salem alone to her own thoughts in the meeting room.

"An interesting idea…how about we raise the stakes even further?" a mysterious voice echoed throughout the room, causing Salem to raise her head up in surprise and look around for the source of the voice.

"Who is this? Would you mind showing yourself?" Salem said, her voice echoing through the silent room.

"Very well." The voice continued as the source of the voice decloaked at the meeting table, right in front of Salem as she was slightly caught off guard by the source of the voice.

It was a large bird, or rather, a condor, but this isn't just some regular condor, evident from its menacing red eyes shining across the dim room. It has crimson red feathers attached to its large wings, along with having jetpacks on its back. It has a camera that was erected from the robot bird's head as the bird's beak was opened up to reveal a speaker inside, in which the voice projected from.

"Fascinating…" Salem spoke softly with awe as she leaned forward to take a closer look at the robotic condor.

"It is, isn't it?" The voice said. "I made this drone myself."

"Who are you and state your business." Salem told the robotic condor.

"Oh, you can call me Chef Pig. Like I said, I'm here to negotiate, seeing that your forces greatly interest me. And you are…?"

"You can call me Salem. You are the first one to venture this deep into my domain, and even attempt to negotiate with me, no less."

"I'm flattered. Well, I came here to propose an alliance." Chef Pig said through the robot.

" And why should I ally with you? What would you give me?" Salem questioned.

"Oh, it's very simple, mademoiselle…" Chef Pig explained, causing Salem to raise an eyebrow at the bird. Whether it's because she is interested in what he is about to propose or that he called her mademoiselle is up to you. "I've got a bit of a… royalty problem to dispose of. And seeing that you have the power to overtake my enemy's forces. You can help me do just that. And in return, I can help you with whatever you need. Need an army? I have plenty. Need some new technology to let Watts play with? I can do that for you. You want to infiltrate a school, with this drone it shouldn't be a problem." Chef Pig said as the condor flapped its wings for emphasis.

"Tempting…But I already have an army of Grimm outside." Salem pointed out. "They even outnumber humanity and live all over Remnant."

"So…let me get this straight…This planet is called Remnant, and those black creatures outside are called Grimm and live all over Remnant?" Chef Pig asked.

"Yes…?" Salem replied.

"That explains the broken moon…" Chef Pig whispered quietly.

"Are you suggesting that you came from another world?" Salem asked.

"Oh? Do you have any proof?" Chef Pig replied with curiosity through the robot condor.

"This drone that you made is unlike anything that I have ever seen. Its design seems to be way more complex than the drones Watts showed me." Salem pointed out as she slowly stroked the metallic wings of the condor.

"And you just asked me about the Grimm despite everyone in Remnant knowing what the Grimm are."

"I guess I have nothing to hide from you then." Chef Pig admitted.

"Tell you what, let us exchange some knowledge about what we know. I can share the power that I have that could improve your forces in Remnant, and in turn, you can tell me what you know, so that I can feel right at home." Chef Pig proposed.

"Very well, why don't you start first?" Salem told him.

"Of course, your majesty." Chef Pig said as the camera from the condor flashed a hologram that showed the globe of planet Earth, causing Salem's eye to slightly widen.

"Now, let's start at the basics…" Chef Pig started.

(Some Time Later….)

"This world is really fascinating." Chef Pig said to Salem as he was processing the information that Salem told him about Remnant, the Kingdoms, the Humans, the Faunus, Aura and Semblances, Dust, Huntsmen and Huntresses, her enemies and of course, the various creatures of the Grimm.

"And so is yours." Salem said as she is processing the information on what he told her about Earth, its countries, the living beings living there with no Grimm, no Aura and Semblances, his home island, Piggy Island, the island's inhabitants, the Angry Birds living there and the island's history between the pigs and the birds, including the EggSpark incident, and how the pigs ended up here.

"So, you believe that this EggSpark shard that you possess can help me with my objective while in turn I can help you with yours?"

"Why yes." Chef Pig replied. "The EggSpark contains power of unlimited potential, like it's a relic of a god, because it once transformed me and various others into different forms, which is why later when we meet face to face, I don't look like a pig Faunus. All we need to do is to use the EggSpark's power to create an unstoppable army, attracting Grimm all over Remnant to bait out that Ozpin of yours, and once we have his soul, you can turn it into something that you can easily destroy with the EggSpark. Then we can see whether he can still reincarnate into something else when his soul is bound forever to a machine! And in the worst case scenario that my enemies followed me here, you can use your powers and terrain to your advantage since they don't know about this world as much as you do. You scratch my back eliminating the King and my enemies. And in turn, I'll scratch yours by offering you the latest in EggSpark technology to help you eliminate Ozpin and rule Remnant. So…what would it be Salem? Do we have a deal?" He asked as the robot Condor held up its wing for Salem to shake.

Salem thought to herself for a moment as she tapped her chin thoughtfully. After what seemed like an eternity, she stood up from her throne and shook the robot condor's red wings.

"Very well then, Chef. I accept your proposal of an alliance."

"A wise decision." Chef Pig said with a sinister smile that Salem could not see.

"I'll keep in touch." Chef Pig said as the robot condor took to the skies and opened the conference room doors before cloaking itself and flying out.

"Brrr…that woman is scary…almost." Chef Pig admitted with a slight shiver as he turned around on his swivel chair to see Hektor and Doctor Pig watching him the whole time while quietly munching on some popcorn.

"If you dare to tell the King or anyone about this…"

"And why would I do that?" Doctor Pig interrupted. "This is a great opportunity for Grimm experimentation! Imagine the combinations and monstrosities I can create!"

"I'm just here for the ride." Hektor said as well as he finished his last popcorn.

"Oh why do I bother?" Chef Pig groaned as he got up and walked out of the lab.

Here we have it! That's how Chef Pig and his scheming friends allied themselves with Salem and Chef Pig built Laserbeak! (Cool and Uh Oh) Will he make more cassette troops? Maybe? And Silver made the Matrix Of Leadership with an EggSpark shard inside it, just like the Matrix of Leadership in Animated.

I'm kinda tired and head empty from all of that writing. So, not much for me to say. As usual, feel free to comment.

Now...I wonder what the flock is up to…?
