Vacou, Darksyde
At the Darksyde Megatron and the other Predacons were in Megatron's main lab. Sitting in the middle of the room was a table that had four metal hooks holding some energon and a fire dust crystals together. Above the crystals were two lasers pointed down at them at a 45-degree angle.
For weeks now Megatron has been trying to combine energon and dust together hoping to make a hybrid of the two. But it was easier said then done. Even though the two are compatible, mixing them usually caused the crystals to shatter or even explode.
Thought this time it looked like Megatron got the settings right, as it looked like the two crystals were merging into one.
"Yes, yes." Said Megatron as all his hard work was about to pay off. "Almost there. This may be the combination sequence I've been looking for. Yesss."
But no sooner had Megatron said that the crystals shook and then shattered.
Seeing this Megatron scowled. "No!" He cried out at seeing another failure. "Roman I need more crystals." He ordered only to get silence in return.
"Roman!" Yelled Megatron so loud it felt like it went thought the whole ship. Then a few seconds later Roman and Adam walked into the room.
"Wow, you have a set of lungs." Said Roman as he rubbed his ear.
Hearing this Megatron ignored him. "Roman I need more energon crystals and fire dust crystals."
"No." Was all Roman said with a grin.
Hearing this caused Megatron to turn to him with a glare on his face. "What did you just say?" Megatron asked him as he was ready to smack that grin off his face.
"You heard me." Roman told him as he lit a cigar. "I said no. And another thing I quit."
Hearing this caused the other Predacons to talk amongst themselves.
"And so do the White Fang." Added Adam shocking everyone. As for once Megatron was speechless
"You have made promise after promise for us, but you have not fulfilled any of them. That is why we are leaving." Adam told him.
"So that's why the White fang presence has been low here lately." Said Scorponok to himself but everyone heard him.
"That's right, now if you'll excuse us, we'll be leaving." Roman told Scorponok.
"Wait!" Said Terrorsaur in shock. "Are you two are working together now?"
"Yes." Said Adam with a straight face. "I may hate humans, but I did learn one thing from you Megatron and that's Roman here has his uses."
"Yeah we made a deal. I help them with whatever they want, and they let me live and do things my way." Added Roman as the two left the Darksyde.
The Predacons were silent as they took everything in, until Terrorsaur spoke up.
"This is all your fault Megatron!" Accused Terrorsaur as he went on about everything Megatron has done wrong since they crashed. But what all of them didn't know was they were being watched.
At the Axalon the Maximals and Winter were watching the whole thing live.
"Wow bad karma at the loser lair." Said Cheetor as he couldn't look away.
"Yes, and with the White Fang gone we now outnumber them." Added SkyShooter.
But Winter was worried about that. "That might be true but who knows how much Cybertron tech they now have. They could be a bigger threat then ever now."
"That's true." Agreed Optimus as his main attention was what was going on in the Darksyde right now.
On the screen they saw the Predacons starting to circle Megatron. "It appears it's serious this time." Dinobot told the others as no one could look away.
"That's dissension alright." Said Optimus as the Predacons pulled their weapons on Megatron.
"I don't think Megatron can talk his way out of this one." Added Skyshooter.
"Cool." Said Cheetor as he broke the tension in the room. "Now aren't you glad we got cable."
Hearing that Winter did wonder something. "How did you place this camera anyway?" She asked them as it was hard to sneak in there without being seen.
"Let me tell you, it wasn't easy." Said Rattrap as it was him who put the camera there, but that was a cover story for the others. What really happened was they sent Blake in there undercover and had her place the camera.
"Quite down mates, it looks like things are getting really good." Said Boomer as Megatron's back was to a container of energon.
And that's when the other Predacons started to fire on Megatron. Megatron then took cover behind the container.
"No, you fools, you'll hit the energon." Warned Megatron as a missile then hit the container.
The next thing the Maximals knew the camera went dead as all they got was static. Then they heard an explosion that slightly shook the base.
"Wow." Was all Cheetor could say after everything they just heard and saw.
"So what now mate?" Boomer asked Optimus unsure what to do.
"May I suggest something Optimus?" Asked Winter as Optimus gave her the go ahead. "I believe we should send a scouting party over to the Darksyde and see what truly is going on. For all we know this could be a trap of some sort."
"I agree with Winter." Said Skyshooter as this could very well be one of their tricks.
"Agreed." Said Optimus as he looked at everyone.
"Skyshooter I want you to lead the scout team. Take Cheetor, Rattrap, Dinobot, and Speedclaw with you. Once you're there find out everything you can and report in. Rhinox call team RWBY and bring them up to speed and on stand-by. Winter I'm assuming you'll be heading back to Atlas, once you figure out what's going on could you let us know. And finally let's not jump to conclusions just yet. We need to know what's going on first before we do anything. Move out."
Hearing this everyone went about their tasks as Optimus looked up at the screen on more time wondering if what they saw was true or not.

Vacou, Darksyde, A hour later
After getting the all clear from Skyshooter's team the rest of the Maximals (in beast mode) and team RWBY stood before the Darksyde. As they looked at the ship, they could see that an explosion did happen there as smoke came out from various parts of it and new damage could be seen.
"Report." Said Optimus wanting to know what they found out.
"We'd searched the entire outer perimeter and some parts inside the ship, but we'd found nothing." Skyshooter told him.
"What about the White Fang?" Asked Blake curious to what they might have done.
"Haven't seen them." Answered Cheetor as Optimus then looked at Rhinox who had a scanner on his foot.
"What does your scanner say?" Asked Optimus wanting to know if the base was empty or not.
"It detects no signs of life. Be it Predacon, Faunus or human." Rhinox told everyone as they all had mixed feeling about it.
"Can it be confirmed?" Asked Dinobot as he looked at his former base.
"Hey, his sensors don't lie dinodip." Defended Rattrap as he got into Dinobot's face.
"No Dinobot could be right." Ruby spoke up. "This is Megatron we're talking about here."
"Ruby's right, but we may have to accept a rather unexpected development friends. The Maximals may have won the Beast wars." Optimus told everyone.
"Then we should head into the Darksyde and make sure." Said SkyShooter as they all then entered the base.
Once inside they meet no resistance anywhere. The lights were on, but it seemed like the computer system was down, so the defence system weren't active. They then soon found themselves in the command area.
Once there Rhinox gave the base a scan from the inside. "Same readings, there's no life reading anywhere. But the base energon field dampeners are still functional."
"Good." Said Optimus as they heard some metal being moved around. Looking over they saw Rattrap in robot mode moving pieces around.
"Alright, lets pillage and plunder." Suggested Rattrap as she swung a metal pole around.
"I think it's best to seem Megatron's remains first before doing anything." Suggested Weiss, as Optimus agreed with her.
"Ok people we're splitting up." Said Optimus as the bots transformed into robot mode.
"Rhinox, Dinobot, Yang, and Rattrap you're with me we're going to find the lab Megatron used. If we find their remains there, we'll contact the others. Then we're going to find the ships space drive and see what we can use. Ruby you, Weiss, Cheetor, Boomer, and Bladegator find all the weapons you can. I don't want the white fang helping themselves once we leave. Skyshooter take Blake and Speedclaw and see what you can find on their systems."
Hearing this everyone went about their tasks as Dinobot lead Optimus's team to where Megatron main lab was located. Once there they saw the door blown to the other side of the hall. Not sure to what they might find they entered slowly. But once inside the saw what would best be described as a scarp yard. There were parts everywhere, some bot, some equipment, some they couldn't even guess who or what it belonged to.
"I guess Megatron and his goons are gone." Said Yang breaking the silence.
"Yeah." Agreed Rattrap. "What a way to go."
Optimus looked at what he thought was Megatron's t-rex head and paid his respects. They might have been enemies, but he didn't wish this is how Megatron was stopped.
Optimus then took a deep breath. "All unit's this is Optimus. Megatron is gone. The Beast Wars are over." Once done he turned to Dinobot, who nodded and lead then to where the space drive was located.
Meanwhile with Ruby's team they just heard the message, and no one said anything. Everything was just happening so fast today and to hear the war was over just like that, was unreal. They then reached their destination and opened the armory only to be shocked at what they saw.
"Crikey mates! Where are all the weapons!?" Boomer asked the others as the armory was empty.
"The White Fang must have emptied the place before they left." Suggested Weiss as they looked around the room.
"Then what do we do?" Asked Bladegator as he looked around the empty room.
Ruby thought about it before answering him. "We'll let Optimus know and check the other areas of the base. For all we know they just moved everything." She told Bladegator.
"I hope your right Ruby." Said Cheetor as he had a grim look on his face. "Or else every non-Faunus on Remnant could be in trouble." He finished as the others agreed with him as they left the room searching for the weapons.
At the same time Skyshooter growled at the computer before him.
"Still nothing?" Asked Blake as she checked the cables.
"Yes." Said Skyshooter as he was ready to hit it. "It's almost like the computer was disabled before all this happened." He told them as nothing he tried worked.
"But Optimus saw the bodies." Stated Speedclaw as he was thinking the same thing.
Skyshooter looked at the system once more. "Speedclaw go check the main power grid. Maybe that's the problem." He told Speedclaw as he nodded and left.
Seeing that they were alone for a bit Skyshooter turned to Blake. "Blake, I need to ask you something?" He told her as she turned to him.
"Are you a Faunus?" He asked her causing Blake to step back in shock and fear.
"What makes you think that?" Blake asked him trying to play it cool.
Skyshooter just looked at her. "I pride myself on knowing all the facts and when I looked into your file, I notice things that didn't add up. And if Optimus hasn't pressed for info by now, that means he knows the truth."
Blake looked him right in the eyes as she spoke. "And if I am?" She asked him awaiting his answer.
"I've known Optimus for a long time and we both trust each other with our lives. If Optimus knows you're a Faunus and your still here, then I will trust him and his call." Skyshooter told Blake as she thought about it.
"I am." Blake told him as Skyshooter nodded. "But don't tell the others, I will tell them myself when I'm ready." She added.
Skyshooter nodded as Speedclaw came back into the room.
"The power good. I don't know what could be wrong." He reported as he looked at the two. "Did I miss something?" He asked them.
"No, we're just getting to know each other better." Skyshooter told him. "Snice the computer is a bust we'll meet up with Optimus and his group." He told them as they left to meet up with Optimus.
Back with Optimus's team they were walking down a long hallway. They then reached the end as they saw a vault before them.
Dinobot looked around, seeing if there were any traps in the area, but when he found none he turned around to the others.
"This is what you seek." Dinobot told Optimus. "I detect no hostiles. I will reconnoitre else where." And with that Dinobot walked off leaving Optimus and the others behind.
Once he was out of hearing range Rattrap spoke up. "Hey great ape? What are we going to do with Dinobot?" He asked.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Asked Yang as she gave Rattrap a look.
"Man look at him! He's still a Predacon, he's only with us cause he knew we win. Not because he believed in what we stood for. He's a soldier! With the enemy gone, who else is he going to fight?" Explained Rattrap as no one had anything to counter him with because he was right.
So Optimus and Rhinox turned around and walked to the vault. Seeing this Yang and Rattrap followed.
"Look, this ain't a good time to prove you're a wimp chimp buddy. And he'll snuff you out the moment you turn your back." Continued Rattrap.
"Hey this is Dinobot we're talking about here." Said Yang as she looked at Rattrap. "If he tires anything it will be from the front, cause that's the type of person he is."
But whatever she was going to say next was cut off as Rhinox opened the vault before them, revealing a cylinder filled with stable energon cubes.
"So what is this?" Asked Yang as she looked at the cylinder.
"It's the Darksyde space drive core." Explained Rhinox as he checked it out. "Ours was destroyed in the crash. But this one is still good."
Hearing this did bring some joy to Optimus. "Good contact Ruby's and Skyshooter's groups, tell them we have what we need." Ordered Optimus.
"No need to Optimus, we're here." Said Skyshooter as his group arrived.
"Good. Did you access the computer?" Asked Optimus wondering how their job went.
"No." Replied Skyshooter as he continued. "It was weird it was almost like someone made it so no one could access it."
"That is weird." Agreed Optimus as he wondered what it meant. "For now lets get this core back to base."
Meanwhile Dinobot was walking through the base looking for any proof of hostiles in the base. But the more and more he looked around, the more like looked like all the Predacons were gone.
"Dinobot." Said Ruby as her group approached him.
Seeing this Dinobot lowered his guard a bit, but he then saw they had no weapons with them other then their own. "Where are the weapons from the armory?" He asked them.
"That's just it. We couldn't find any." Ruby told him.
"We believe the White Fang has them all." Added Weiss as that didn't sit well with her.
"Interesting." Was all Dinobot could say as he thought about what that meant.
"We're regrouping with the others." Said Ruby as she added one thing. "Care to join us?"
"No. I wish to make sure there are no surprises waiting for us." Dinobot told her as Ruby notice a look on his face.
"Ok, then." Said Ruby. "Then I'll join you."
Hearing this surprised the others.
"You will?" Asked Weiss in disbelief.
"I'll be fine." Replied Ruby as the others looked at each other.
"Ok." Said Weiss. "Just be careful." And with that the others left the two alone.
Seeing that the others were gone Ruby spoke up. "Are you ok?" She asked Dinobot.
Hearing this Dinobot was confused. "Oh course, we won the Beast Wars." He told her.
"Yeah, but not the way you wanted to." She countered.
"What do you mean by that?" Asked Dinobot unsure what she meant by that.
"You wanted to die in battle, didn't you?" Ruby told him as Dinobot took a step back in surprise.
Dinobot stood there a few seconds before speaking. "What makes you think that?" He asked her wondering how she came to that conclusion.
"When the probe was here you didn't want to go back to Cybertron, where you thought you would be imprisoned. And now that the Predacons are gone you're mopping in your own way." Explained Ruby as Dinobot didn't say anything as she was right.
"Also, you're a warrior. There's no nobler way for a warrior to go then to die on the battle field." Ruby added.
Hearing this Dinobot sat down as Ruby did the same. "I joined the Maximals because I lost faith in Megatron, but the Maximals wanted to be rescued. Something I didn't want. Now that they are going home, and I'm unsure what to do." Admitted Dinobot.
Ruby sat there as she thought about it. "You could always stay here." She suggested as Dinobot looked at her.
He then thought about it and realized he could do a lot here. 'I could make my own kingdom here.' Thought Dinobot as he then asked Ruby something.
"And what about you?" He asked her as Ruby was unsure to what he meant.
"What do you mean?" Asked Ruby.
"You and the Matrix." Clarified Dinobot as he continued. "What are you going to do about it?"
Ruby sat there as she thought about it. "I have three options. The first is head back with the others and see what happens. The second is I let Optimus choose what I do. And the last one is I wait here and see what happens."
Hearing this Dinobot nodded. "And what will you do?" He asked her, curious to the answer.
"That I'm still thinking on." Answered Ruby as the two sat there in silence.
"Hey mates!" They heard Boomer call as the looked over to him. "We're heading out." He told them as both of them got up thinking about what they will do.

Vale, Patch, Axalon, A Day Later
After getting the parts they needed from the Darksyde the Maximals went straight to work fixing the Axalon engines. They were working around the clock, due to fear that this was all a trap set up by the Predacons for whatever reason. After all they couldn't find any weapons in the Darksyde and they couldn't get the computer working, raising a few red flags for them.
Currently they just replaced their damage drive core with the new one as they checked everything making sure it was all working. As they worked Rattrap was still worrying up about Dinobot.
"But we still can't trust Dinobot." Rattrap said for like the millionth time.
"Before we worry about Dinobot, let's worry about where we're going." Suggested Bladegator as he wielded some parts together.
"Bladegator right." Chimed in Rhinox. "We're nearly done with the drive repairs."
"The first order of business is the stasis pods still in orbit. They have to be recovered and our comrades rescued." Said Optimus as no one objected to that.
"Ok, but after that we're exploring the galaxy, again right?" Asked Cheetor as he couldn't wait to get back out there.
"Cheetor I hate to say it, but have you looked at your ship lately. The only place we should head is Cybertron." Said Speedclaw as held his hands out to point at everything.
"He's right kid. I'm not sure how long we can fly for." Added Rattrap.
Hearing this Cheetor was about to counter, only for Optimus to cut him off. "I'm afraid their both right Cheetor."
Hearing this brought great joy to Rattrap. "And about time." He said but no one paid him any attention.
"Then well get a new ship?" Cheetor asked hopefully.
"That's for the council to determine." Said SkyShooter. "But given what we've all been through I don't see why not."
Hearing this Optimus turned to his friend. "And if that happens know that second-in-command is still yours." He told him as that made everyone realized something.
"To bad we can't bring the girls with us." Said Cheetor as this was one thing he hated.
"I know mate, but they have their whole lives here. We can't just expect them to pack up and leave with us." Said Boomer as he felt the same a Cheetor.
"It will be weird to do work without them around." Added Rhinox.
"I know, but rules are rules. We can't have a crew member from a non-space flight world. No matter how much we want to." Optimus told them wishing he could offer them all positions on his crew.
It was then Dinobot in beast mode, who was the only bot not present, entered the room.
"Dinobot where have you've been?" Asked Bladegator as he and the others wondered where he was.
"I have been outside, thinking." Dinobot told him as the others wondered about what.
"What about chopper face?" Asked Rattrap curious to what the answer was.
"I shall not be going back with you all." Dinobot told everyone.
"What do you mean Dinobot?" Asked Optimus wondering what he meant by that.
"I shall remain here. After talking with Ruby the other day, I have deicide to make a fifth kingdom here. A kingdom that I shall rule and protect." Dinobot told the others causing the to gasp in shock.
"You can be serious?" Asked Speedclaw not believing what he just heard.
"You know people will more then likely run from you rather then to you." Added Rhinox.
"That may be true." Said Dinobot as he continued. "But I shall start small with a small town or something like that and start building up from there." He told the others.
Optimus listened to what he said and knew that if Dinobot went back with them, the chance of his being arrested and imprisoned where high even with them vouching for him.
"I understand." Said Optimus as he wasn't going to stop him. "None the less, let the record show that I advise against this action. It will eventually lead to your destruction."
"Eventually… Eventually can be a long time Optimus Primal." Countered Dinobot as he then gestured to everyone in the room. "I salute my former Maximal leader and my former comrades. Good-bye."
And with that Dinobot left the room in order to prepare for his long road a head of him.
Optimus then saw the time. "I'm afraid I have to leave the rest to you all. I have a farewell meeting with our human allies." He told everyone as he left the room and entered the command area and saw all their organic allies sitting at the table.
"Thank you all for coming." Optimus told them as he sat down. "I know that you all know why I called you here, but I'll say it anyway. Our repairs are nearly done, and we will be leaving soon."
No one said anything as they all knew this was what Optimus called them for.
"When do you leave?" Asked Winter voicing everyone's question.
"Unless something goes wrong tomorrow morning." Optimus told her.
Hearing this team RWBY looked down as they have really gotten close with the bots.
"But what about the White Fang?" Asked Willow with some fear in her voice.
"I'm afraid they're still out there, armed to the teeth." Optimus told her as this wasn't something, he could hide from her.
Hearing this scared all the Schnee's in the room. The White fang with that much power and add their hatred for them. It made them all want to find a good hiding space and hide there for a long time.
"I know your sacred, but if you stick with our plan, they shouldn't be a problem." Reassured Optimus, as the girls calmed down a bit.
"But what if the Predacons aren't gone?" Asked Blake as they were all unsure about their destruction.
"Hopefully they are gone." Said Optimus as he saw their unsure faces. "But in case they're not, Skyshooter has a few favors to call in and he'll send a ship back here just to make sure."
Optimus then held out a hard drive for Willow. "This drive contains everything you need to know, about energon and how to use it." Optimus told her as he handed it over to her.
Willow looked at the drive. "But why give me this?" She asked unsure as to why he was giving her this.
"Because we made a deal. Just because we're leaving doesn't mean we get to back out on it." Optimus told her.
Hearing this Willow was shocked. "I truly wish I could have had more time to talk with you." Said Willow as she took the drive.
"What about Dinobot?" Asked Ruby out of the blue.
Hearing this Optimus looked at her. "He's not coming with us." Optimus told her as the others were surprised to hear this.
"Then what's he going to do?" Asked Yang.
Optimus looked unsure as to answer, but did so anyway. "He plans to create his own kingdom." He told them.
Hearing this everyone was shocked to say the least.
"I see." Was all Ruby said as she got up.
She then walked over to Optimus. "Optimus thank you for everything. You've helped us all grow in so many ways. I don't think we could thank you enough." Said Ruby as she held out her hand.
Optimus looked at it before sighing. "Ruby, everyone there something I need to tell you."
Hearing this no one said anything as Optimus explained.
"For weeks now, we've believe there has been more to the grimm then what we know. When you girls started school, we were attacked by grimm. And in the middle of the fight the last one just retreated for no reason. Since then we've had grimm, just watching us. That is why we believe someone or something is controlling them. Now I know your all upset about being kept in the dark, but that is all we know."
Hearing this no one spoke as the word sunk in. Then Yang stood up and slammed her fist down on the table (without damaging it) causing the others to jump back in surprise.
"Why didn't you tell us!" Demanded Yang as her eyes went red.
"And tell us what?" Asked Winter as she understood why they were kept in the dark.
"Anything." Said Yang hating being left in the dark.
"Yang calm down!" Ordered Ruby as Yang looked at her.
"Don't tell me your ok with this?" Yang asked her.
"Of course not." Ruby told her causing Yang to calm down and her eyes to go normal.
"But even if they told us everything from the start, what is there to do? All they know is they got attacked and the grimm acted weird. That is important, but what could we have done with that? As much as it hurts that they didn't tell us, they made the right choice in not telling us."
Hearing this no one said anything as they let what Ruby said sink in.
"There is one more thing." Said Optimus gaining their attention. "We were able to tags some grimm, to see where they would go. So far they haven't left their areas. We included their tracking code in the files on the drive."
Optimus then looked at each and every one of them. "I know you're upset with my choice to keep you in the dark. I know it was wrong, but we weren't sure what could happen, and we didn't want to worry you all. I know this was a bad time to tell all of you, but you all deserved to know the truth."
No one said anything as Optimus knew they had a lot to think on. "I want to thank you all again for your help. If it hasn't been for all of you, who knows where we would be right now." Optimus told them all as he added one more thing. "When we know when we are leaving, we will contact you and let you know."
Hearing this everyone got up and left, with mixed feeling about what they just learnt. But the one thing they could all agree on was that they couldn't look at grimm the same way again.

Vale, Patch, Serval hours later
It was early in the morning as Dinobot walked around Patch. As he walked, he thought about his plans and how to make them work. The already gathered the supplies he needed and stashed them else where on Patch until he was ready to leave.
Currently he was on the other side of the island walking around in beast mode as he passed an old warehouse. He gave it a look for a second before continuing on.
But if he had looked inside he would have seen Roman looking his way, while trying to stay out of sight.
"Clear." He said as the Predacons in beast mode came out of hiding.
"How much longer must we hide here?" Asked Terrorsaur as he was getting fed up with being cooped up for so long.
"Until the Maximals are done with their repairs." Megatron told them as he glared at them.
Then Adam and Neo walked into the room, as Neo had some take out. "That should be soon." He told them as Neo passed the bag to Roman who started to eat. Roman had been keeping watch since early in the evening last night for the Predacons and he was hungry.
"I can't take much more." Said Terrorsaur as he got ready to fly.
Only to get knocked down by Scorponok. "We wouldn't be here if you hadn't tripped over that spy camera." He told Terrorsaur with a frown.
"You are correct Scorponok." Said Megatron as he continued. "But thanks for Terrorsaur inverted discovery of the enemy spy camera, we were able to pull this little deception. Yeesss."
"But what if they detect us." Spoke up Blackarachnia as she was reading about their history. "Don't forget my signature damping devices are only experimental." As she gestured to the devices around the building.
"We only have to wait until they repair their ship." Megatron told her.
"And then we attack them. And take their ship and use it to gain the stasis pobs in orbit" Interrupted Roman as he took a bit of his burger. "I still say we should let them leave. Then take over this world."
Megatron growled at Roman for cutting him off. "I agree with him." Said Adam as Megatron glared at him. "It would be easier to take over this world and then use it to build ships and other tools we need."
Megatron was about to speak, but Scorponok spoke up. "You dare insult Megatron's plan!"
"I speak my mind." Adam told him as he added something. "After all I am second-in-command."
Hearing this Scorponok was about to jump at him, only for Megatron to stop him. "You have told me this before. And as such that is our plan B."
But before any one could say anything else, Neo pointed at a window in shock. Curious as to what she was pointing everyone looked and saw Dinobot looking at them.
Dinobot seeing that he was made ran off. Seeing this Megatron quickly gave out orders.
"Quickly everyone after him! Tarantulas jam all commutations, now!" He ordered as the Predacons transformed and the organics grabbed their gear.
"Megatron if we jam all commutations, how will we get our troops here?" Asked Adam as they rushed outside.
"We won't." Megatron told him. "The nine of use will have to be enough."
Hearing this didn't make Adam happy, but he went along with it anyway.
Meanwhile with Dinobot he transformed as he ran toward the Axalon. "Axalon come in." He yelled into his comm only to get static. Hearing the static Dinobot knew he was being jammed and that gave him only one option. Running back to the Axalon, though he hoped, he would make it in time.

Meanwhile at Beacon, Ruby was awake as her team had a long talk about what Optimus told them. It lasted a few hours, but in the end they all agreed while it hurt that Optimus didn't trust them to tell them the truth right away, they understood where he came from.
Currently it was five in the morning as the Axalon will be leaving around 5:15. The girls were all dressed, with their gear on them as the nodded to each other and opened the ground bridge heading to the Axalon.
Once through they were surprised to see Winter there.
"Sister what are you two doing here?" Weiss asked in surprise as none of them expected to see them there.
"I came to see the Maximals off and to see what will become of the Darksyde." Winter told them as they forgot to ask about that the other day.
"I see an what about mother?" Asked Weiss wondering if she would show up.
"No mother is going over all the data on energon and seeing what is the best way to start testing." Winter told them as they understood.
"Not to cut this short, but they will be leaving soon." Said Blake as she looked at the time on her scroll, making them head over to the Axalon.
The five of them entered the base as they saw all the Maximals present (excluding Dinobot) as they got ready to take off.
"Hey, hey, hey look who it is." Said Rattrap as he was beast mode as he saw the girls enter the room. Hearing this the others gave them a quick glance and a 'hello' before going back to work.
Optimus then approached them. "Thank you for coming, it means a lot for you all to be here. And to be honest I wasn't sure if any of you would be here." Optimus told them as Ruby spoke up.
"Optimus me and my team have talked things over, and we forgive you." Ruby told him as Optimus smiled as she continued. "Just never do it again." She added with a smile.
"As have I and my mother." Added Winter. "We both know that sometimes you must mislead others to keep them safe."
Hearing this Optimus was glad as he didn't want to leave with he organic crew mistrusting them.
"One other thing Optimus." Started Winter gaining his attention. "What is to become of the Darksyde?"
Hearing this Optimus understood what she meant. "That's up to you all. You can either make is your own base or use this program." Optimus told them as he handed them a hard drive. "This program will make the Darksyde explode."
"But isn't that dangerous Optimus?" Asked Ruby as she remembered the energon under the base.
Hearing this Optimus understood what she meant. "Normally yes, but this explosion will be small enough not to cause the energon to explode." He explained as Ruby did feel better.
"All systems are go, Optimus." Rhinox told Optimus as the ship was ready to go.
"Then let's do it." Optimus told Rhinox as he forgot about the girls for a second.
"Power up." Said Rhinox as he activated the ships engines. "Lift off in three cycles and counting."
Hearing this the girls knew they had three minutes to leave. They then heard everyone talking in excitement as they talked about their plans when they got back.
"Dinobot!" Yelled Rhinox as everyone looked at the monitor and saw Dinobot running towards them.
But before anyone could say anything, they saw something that made them pause. The Predacons chasing him along with Roman and Adam.
"So, they did fake their deaths." Stated SkyShooter as they watched as Dinobot get shot in the spine making it so he couldn't run anymore.
"NO! DINOBOT!" Yelled Optimus as he watched it happen.
But Dinobot wasn't one to stay down as he fired his eye lasers at them. A couple shots hit Scorponok and Tarantulas, while the rest dived for cover.
"I'm going for Dinobot." Optimus told the others.
"Optimus, I know you want to save Dinobot, but we have less then two cycles before lift-off. And we can't stop the countdown." Skyshooter told him trying to reason with him.
"I don't want you to." Optimus told them. "If we're not back in time lift off without us." Ordered Optimus.
"No way." Said Rhinox as he wasn't going to do that.
"That's a priority order! Understood?" Optimus told them as everyone knew there was no changing his mind.
"Then we're coming with you." Ruby told him as her team and Winter stepped up.
"Even if the Axalon takes off without us, it doesn't matter. This is our home anyway." Added Yang as Optimus could see there was no changing their minds.
Optimus then opened up a panel near the lift as three riot shields came out. Optimus then grabbed one and held it on his left hand. Yang then went up and grabbed one too and place it on her left hand.
They then entered the lifts with Optimus and Yang being on different ones, as the went outside.
"I cannot sit ideal while my comrade battle the enemy. Tigatron Maximize." Said Tigatron as he got ready to help.
"I'm with you big cat. Cheetor Maximize." Said Cheetor as the two got ready to help.
"Don't forget about me." Said Speedclaw as he got his claws ready.
"Back in your seats you three. You heard the orders." Said Rhinox as the three were about to argue, he spoke again. "I said sit! We're taking this bird to Cybertron and I and need all of you to do it. Rattrap astronavigation, Boomer watch the structural integrity, Bladegator watch the power levels, Skyshooter you take the helm, And Cheetor, Tigatron and Speedclaw take the guns. Optimus and the others will need some fire power. Now let's move people!" Order Rhinox as everyone started the tasks they were given.
Back outside Dinobot was still trying to keep the Predacons at bay, but since he couldn't move, they were able to hit him, knocking him around.
It was then that Optimus and his team got the scene.
"Optimus, Yang keep us cover! Winter and Weiss summon us some help. And Blake you're with me, we're going for Dinobot." Ordered Ruby as no one disagreed with her plan.
Optimus and Yang then stepped in front of the Schnee sisters as they both brought out summoning glyphs, as Wiess summoned her knight while Winter brought out a pack of Beowolfs.
The two summons's then charged at the Predacons as Roman looked on in fear. "Oh boy." He said to himself as then out of no where a rocket hit the knights left leg causing it to fall on most of the Beowolfs shattering them all.
Roman, Adam and Megatron looked to where the shot came from and saw Neo with a squad of White fang members.
"Those are the men I had watch the Axalon." Adam told the others.
"Ah, so she went for the closest reinforcements. What a wonderful girl." Megatron said with a grin as he saw them fire at the Maximals.
"That she is." Roman said with a smile making sure no one heard him.
Seeing the Predacons reinforcements Ruby turned to Optimus. "Optimus I'm going to distract the Predacons, us this opening." Ruby told him and before Optimus could say anything Ruby used her semblance.
She was glad the Predacons were bunched up together as she ran around them making a red wall as she ran. Seeing this Optimus activated his jets as he flew to Dinobot. He looked over at the new forces and saw Yang, Weiss and Blake holding them off. He then landed in front of Dinobot and used his shield to cover him in case Ruby stopped.
"This is strategically unsound." Said Dinobot weakly as Optimus picked him up and put him over his shoulder.
"Tell me about it back on Cybertron." Optimus told him as he took off keeping his eyes on Ruby. But this proved to be a mistake as Terrorsaur was behind him and shot Optimus in the back, as he laughed while doing it.
Optimus fell to the ground with Dinobot as Winter saw this and brought out her energon pistol (Just like her sisters) and fired at Terrorsaur. Terrorsaur didn't see it coming and fell from the attack.
At the same time Ruby ran away from the Predacons and regrouped with Winter as Ruby was out of breath. Winter was ready to praise Ruby for her work when she heard Megatron yell.
"Forget about them, head for the ship." Yelled Megatron as all his available men ran for the ship including Roman and Adam.
Inside the Axalon Cheetor, Speedclaw and Tigatron saw them coming and they let them have it with the ship's guns. At first, they missed them but slowly but surely, they hit each and everyone of them knocking them away and/or out.
Seeing that they were clear for the moment Ruby and Winter rushed over to Optimus and Dinobot after making sure Weiss and the others were ok. As they got closer, they saw Optimus getting up slowly as his body was suffering from energon exposer and the damage he took. Seeing this Optimus transformed into beast mode.
"Optimus!" Said Ruby but before she could continue, they heard the Axalon's engines.
Looking at the ship they could see that it was starting to slowly lift off.
"Help me." Said Optimus as he slipped one of Dinobot's arms over his shoulder. Seeing this Winter did the same for the other arm. They then moved as fast as they could to the ship in hopes of getting the two aboard.
On the ship the others could see the group coming their way. They all were hoping that the two of them would make it in time, as the ship got higher off the ground.
Soon Optimus's group made it to the lift as Optimus looked up as he thought of throwing Dinobot up. But he then felt Winter let go of Dinobot. Before he could ask why Winter made an ice pillar below them as it was a little higher then the lift. Seeing this Optimus tossed Dinobot onto the lift.
But before Optimus could jump off Scorponok got up and fired a missile at the pillar causing it break as Optimus fell down as he watched his ship and crew fly away as he reached the ground with a thud.
"Optimus are you ok?" Asked Ruby as she and Winter rushed over to him.
"No." Was all Optimus said as his eyes wouldn't leave the ship.
But what everyone didn't know was Megatron somehow climbed to a nearby hill as he waited for the Axalon to fly by. Once it was close enough, he jumped and grabbed hold of one of the ship's landing gear as he started to climb up.
Meanwhile inside the ship everyone looked at the lift as they only saw Dinobot on it, as Dinobot held his head low. Seeing this everyone knew what happened.
"You should have left me behind." Said Dinobot as he felt guilt for what happened. Hearing this the other didn't say anything except Rattrap.
"Hey pal! Optimus got left behind, just to save your scaly skin. So, don't spoil the sacrifice." Rattrap told him angerly.
"Rattrap he's in good hands until we can send a ship back here to get him and arrest the Predacons." Skyshooter told him as he wished all the Maximals were present.
Then they heard someone stomp into the room. Startled by this everyone looked where the sound came from and to their shock, they saw Megatron standing there.
"To bad no one here will send that ship." Megatron told them as he opened fire on them.
Everyone was still too startled by Megatron's sudden appearance to do anything as they got hit by his fire, knocking them out. The only one who was safe was Rattrap who was still in beast mode.
Megatron then looked at Rattrap as tried to transform, only for Megatron to grab his chest with his T-rex head.
"None of that vermin. NNNooo." Said Megatron. "For now I will crush you, like a rat in a trap!" Megatron finished as he started to squeeze Rattrap, causing Rattrap to cry out in pain.
At that moment Rhinox started to come to as he heard his friends cries of pain. "Not a chance!" Said Rhinox as he stood up as he walked over to Megatron, who tossed Rattrap away, and Punched Megatron in the face causing him to get woozy.
Rhinox then charged at Megatron as he picked him up causing Megatron tail spear to go flying. Rhinox then slammed Megatron into the lift and stomp down on him causing the lift to go down as the base flipped down from the force. Megatron then went plummeting down as all he could do was cry out.
Then for some reason the alarms went off and Rhinox saw why. Megatron's tail spear stabbed the control console causing it to go haywire. The result caused the ship drive core to explode. And with the engines gone the Axalon started to fall. Luckily or unlucky depending on how you look at it the fall caused the others to wake up.
"We're falling!" Cried out Rattrap in fear. "Do something!" He yelled as the ship did a nose dive forcing everyone onto the consoles.
"I want you all to know, it's been a pleasure mate's." Said Boomer as he got ready for what was to come.
"Same." Agreed Bladegator.
"Wait!" Yelled out Dinobot as everyone looked at him. "Look. Down in the sky. Is it a bird?"
"Maybe a plane?" Suggested Rhinox as he saw the same thing.
"Naw, it's Optimus!" Cried out Rattrap in joy.
Outside Optimus was in robot mode as he flew towards the Axalon as he then made contact trying to control it's fall. Seeing this Skyshooter then active the landing jets lessening the load for him as Optimus tried to guide the Axalon back to its crash site.
Meanwhile everyone in and out of the Axalon could only look on in shock and worry as the ship landed back in the same spot as before.
About half an hour later, after everyone checked to see what shape the ship was in, they gather in the command room.
"Report." Said a weak Optimus as he was still recovering from guiding the ship down and the earlier battle.
"Not good Optimus." Started Rhinox. "The drive core is toast, our energon levels are low, and we're still checking on the ship's structural integrity."
"And don't forget about the power grid." Added Skyshooter as he glared at Megatron's tail spear as it laid at the side of the room. "We're still fixing it, so the CR chamber is still off for some time."
Hearing all this none of the Maximals said anything, as it was too much to bear. Meanwhile team RWBY and Winter stood of to the side not saying anything as they didn't know what to say.
Optimus then looked their way. "It looks like we're here to stay." He told them grimly as he added something. "Can we continue to count on your support?" He asked them.
Team RWBY looked at each other as Ruby answered him. "Of course." She told him making Optimus smile.
"But no more secrets. Got that!" Added Yang as she was still mad about that.
"Agreed." Said Optimus as he then looked at Winter.
"I can't speak to my mother, but I believe she will still help you as will I." Winter told Optimus.
"Thank you, all of you." Said Optimus grateful they made such great allies.
"What about Rattrap and Dinobot? How are they handling this?" Asked Blake curious as to how they were dealing with things.
Hearing that everyone looked over at the CR chamber where Dinobot was laying waiting for the power to be restored. Currently he and Rattrap were fighting with their words again.
As everyone heard them bicker Optimus spoke up. "They're taking it well." He told Blake as their fight lighten the mode.
"So what now?" Asked Cheetor unsure what to do.
"For today we asset our damages, and tomorrow we fix everything and then it will be business as usual, unfortunately." Optimus told him as they then heard Rattrap squeal out in frustration.
Hearing this made the others laugh or smile. Afterall they might have failed to go home today, but at least they have good friends to stand by them. Because who know what will happen next in this war.
The Predacons tried to trick the Maximals fix their ship in order to leave Remnant, but in the end, no one got to go home. Now I won't lie in my opinion there were a lot of flaws in their episode that I hoped I fixed. Like the Maximals not checking to see the corpses of the Predacons, or how the Predacons almost missed their window of opportunity to steal the ship and what they were going to do afterwards if they missed it.
And now the girls know about the grimm, but they won't know their true nature until much later.
