Chapter 22
The Spark

In the orbit around Remnant a lone Stasis pod floated around the planet until a stray meteorite hit it. And unlike what happened with Boomer's pod the hit damaged the pod badly.
"Damage to hatch seals and internals. Attempting to initiate emergency sequence." Said the on-board computer as the pod started an uncontrolled descent as it wobbled every which way.

Vacou, Darksyde
At the Darksyde Tarantulas was working at a terminal as he picked up the pod.
"Identify." Ordered tarantulas as he looked around the room to make sure no one was near him.
"Object is a Maximal stasis pod." Reported the computer as Tarantulas grinned.
"Calculate landing coordinates." Said Tarantulas with a chuckle.
"What you doing?" Asked Roman in a singing tone as he looked over Tarantulas shoulder to see what he was up to.
"Nothing!" Said Tarantulas as he tried cover the screen with his body.
Hearing that Roman grinned. "Really now?" He said as he lit a smoke. "Causes it looked like your trying to calculate landing coordinates."
Hearing that Tarantulas glared at Roman. "This doesn't concern you human." Warned Tarantulas.
"That may be true." Said Roman as this made Tarantulas worry. "But I know who it does."
"Don't!" Yelled Tarantulas as he was ready to lung at Roman.
"Oh Megatron!" Said Roman in a singing tone again.
Soon Megatron arrived as he glared at Roman. "What is it Roman?" He asked in an unamused tone.
"Trajectory of Maximal stasis pod erratic. Impossible to compute exact landing coordinates." Spoke the computer as Megatron glared at Tarantulas who shrunk under the glare.
"Best estimate?" Asked Megatron as he would deal with Tarantulas later.
"Grid Scavos." Answered the computer putting a smile on Megatron's face, while Roman had a worried face.
"Isn't that where the unstable energon vents are?" He asked as he was unsure about that area.
"Yes, it is." Answered Megatron as that area was in his territory and was rich with energon, but due to how unstable it was, it would take months to get an operation going there.
"Closest units?" Asked Megatron as he knew he had to act fast.
"Scorponok, Blackarachnia and Adam Taurus." Answered the computer as it showed their locations on the screen.
"I'll assist with the recovery." Tarantulas suddenly spoke up. "My programming skills…" But he was then cut off by Megatron.
"Are needed here." Megatron told him with a 'my mind is made up tone'.
"Blackarachnia will do fine, as you still haven't told me how they put that Cinder girl and her lacky's into serval different computer systems." Added Megatron as he turned to Roman. "Gather the men and head to grid Scavos and assist with the pod recovery."
Hearing that Roman rubbed the back of his head. "I'm guessing no one told you." He told Megatron.
"Told me what?" Asked Megatron annoyed.
"Well, you see last night was the griffball championship. And a lot of the guys had a party for it. Only they had some bad dip and beer. And well, they can't either leave their beds or the toilets." Explained Roman as he braced himself for whatever was coming.
Hearing that Megatron growled as he should have never allowed that party. Calming himself Megatron gave Roman his orders. "Contact the units nearest the pod and inform them of what they must do. And send Terrorsaur and Wazzpinator over there as backup."
Hearing that Roman quickly left to fulfill the orders he was given.
Megatron watched as he left as he wanted that pod. While the White Fang were good, he couldn't get what Rhinox said about there being traitors near him. While he knew his fellow Predacons wouldn't dare try anything, that didn't go for the White Fang and Roman. But for now, he will wait and see what will happen.

Vacou, Grid Scavos
At gird Scavos there wasn't much there. Just large rock formations and geyser's that shoot out raw energon. In the past Humans and Faunus tried to settle here, but the geyser's made it hard to live there and the project was abandoned.
Currently standing on a ledge was Rhinox and Willow. The two came here to see if they could set up some sort of operation to harvest the energon.
"Plenty of energon, but none of it stable to use." Said Rhinox as he surveyed the field.
"I see." Said Willow as she was dressed in brown pants and a shirt with a gun on her belt.
"By the way how are things going at the company?" Asked Rhinox as they haven't heard much as of late.
Willow rubbed her eyes as she thought of it. "It's complicated right now." She told him.
"How so?" Asked Rhinox again.
"It's been a large uphill battle for me. While I have shown them that worthless dust can be used, there are board members that are still unsure. And to top it off Jacques has been fighting me tooth and claw." Willow told Rhinox who nodded.
"Do you have any allies?" He asked a little worried for her.
"I have some old friends still. And with the discovery on how to use energon I'm getting more supporters." Willow told him.
Rhinox nodded as they all knew this was going to be a hard fight. But before either could say anything else, they both saw a fireball in the sky.
"What is that?" Asked Willow as he had never seen anything like it before, but Rhinox had.
"Rhinox Maximize!" Said Rhinox as he transformed. He then zoomed in and saw it was a stasis pod.
"A stasis pod." Rhinox mostly said to himself, but Willow understood what that meant.
"Rhinox to base." Said Rhinox as he tried to reach the Axalon, but all he got was static.
"The energon fields must be too strong for the signal to get out." Said Willow.
"You've been studying." Praised Rhinox as that was the most likely reason as he added. "Looks like we're on our own."
Hearing that Willow didn't know what to say. This was supposed to be a simple survey mission, not a search and rescue. That's when she remembered something.
"What about the guard detail." She asked hoping they could leave it for them.
Rhinox shock his head. "We're in too deep. They might get the signal, but it will be garbled. And without a location they'll be running around blind."
He then saw they scared look on Willow's face as he knew what was going on. "Willow you have two choices right now. You can either come with me and help me, or you can try to find the guard detail and hope they can help you."
Hearing that Willow didn't know what to do, as either option wasn't good for her. But in the end, it would be safer with Rhinox then hoping to contact the others.
With her mind made up, she told Rhinox her answer. "I'll come with you." She told him as Rhinox nodded.
"Hang on." He told her as he picked her up bridal style as jumped off the ledge and ran for the pod.
Nearby and a little bit earlier Blake, Cheetor and Tigatron patrolled the area as they had guard duty. Normally if it was just Rhinox they wouldn't do this, but since Willow is a VIP and a non-combatant, they weren't going to take any chances.
'If my dad could see me now.' Thought Blake as she requested this assignment with the two cat bots.
Blake took a deep breath before she opened her mouth. "Cheetor, Tigatron there's something I need to tell you both."
Hearing that both cats looked at each other then her. "What's wrong Blake?" Asked Cheetor confused.
"I've been lying to you guys for some time now." Said Blake as she took her bow off showing them her cat ears.
Seeing this both Cheetor's and Tigatron's eyes went wide.
"Blake you're a Faunus!" Cheetor said in shock as a million different thoughts went through his mind.
"Why have you hidden this from us, Blake?" Asked Tigatron as he kept his cool but was like Cheetor as his thoughts were everywhere.
"Because I was scared." Answered Blake as both cat bots looked at her, as she continued.
"Scared that no one would take the time to know the real me. So many people take look at the animal part on a Faunus and label them the same. I know there are people out there that don't, but to us they feel small and far apart. So, I put this bow on so people wouldn't judge me right off the bat and get to know me first. Then I meet you and the other Maximals. I honestly felt a connection to you guys. You are all great people, but that was after getting to know you. I felt kindred to you all."
Hearing that both cat bots understood her reasoning, but Cheetor need to know something. "Then why tell us know?" Asked Cheetor confused.
"Two reasons the first is I feel the most comfortable with you two. Maybe because were all cats or something." Blake told them.
"And the second?" Asked Cheetor with a smile on his face.
"Optimus already knows and told me that I need to let others know or else it could end badly for me if they find out the wrong way." Blake told them sheepishly.
"How'd he find out?" Asked Cheetor again.
"When Sentinel went haywire, it used the screech on me, and Rattrap figured it out. He then told Optimus and Ruby and the two talked to me about it. To be honest they took it better than I thought they would." Blake told him.
Hearing that Tigatron finally spoke up. "I understand Blake." He told her causing Blake to smile. "But I do agree with Optimus the longer you hide this the harder it will be to tell the others, but I will hold my tongue until your ready."
"The same goes for me sister cat." Said Cheetor.
Hearing that caused Blake to smile, until she realized what Cheetor said. "Wait sister cat?" She asked Cheetor confused.
"Yeah, I'm little cat, Tigatron big cat, so that makes you sister cat." Explained Cheetor hoping she was ok with it.
Blake thought about it and she won't lie, she did like it. "Ok, little cat." She told Cheetor with a smile. But before they could say or do anything else, they heard a boom sound as they all turned around and saw a fireball in the sky.
"Hopping helix! A stasis pod!" Said Cheetor in shock.
"Look's like it landing in the area Rhinox and Willow are in." Said Tigatron as his eyes zoomed in on the pod.
"Blake to Rhinox." Said Blake as she tried to reach Rhinox only to get static in response. "The field too strong to get a signal to them."
Hearing that Cheetor activated his comm. "Cheetor to guard detail two."
Meanwhile in another part of the area Boomer and Bladegator, both in beast mode, were walking around as they got the call.
"What is it mate?" Asked Boomer as he answered the call.
"We spotted a stasis pod over here. It's coming down in grid Vega." Said Cheetor as both bots looked at each other.
"Not good mate, that's Predacon ground." Said Boomer with a worried look.
"All the more reason to get to the pod." Agreed Bladegator.
"Cheetor you and the others head to the pod location. We'll inform the others and join you." Bladegator told him.
"Understood." Said Cheetor as the line went out.
"Boomer to Axalon, come in Axalon." Said Boomer as he tried to reach the Axalon only to get static.
He then turned to Bladegator. "What now mate? Do we head closer to the base or go to the pod?" Boomer asked him as Bladegator thought about it.
"We head for the pod." Bladegator told Boomer. "We don't know how long it will take for reinforcements to get here and to get a signal out."
"Right mate. Then let's go." Said Boomer as the two headed towards grid Vega.
Meanwhile Scorponok and Blackarachnia, both in beast mode, saw the pod falling.
"There it is. Just as Megatron said." Said Scorponok as he could already see Megatron praising him for bring him the pod.
"Just as Megatron said, just as Megatron said." Mocked Blackarachnia as she came up behind him. "Don't you ever get tired of groveling to him?"
"Megatron is our leader. He rewards loyalty and punishes those who oppose his will." Said Scorponok as he wasn't amused with Blackarachnia tone.
"Is that why he made Adam his second-in-command when they first met. Because he was super loyal to him?" Blackarachnia asked in a mocking tone again. Hearing that Scorponok clenched his claws in anger as he walked off, not wanting to deal with this anymore.
As Blackarachnia watched him walk off she wondered if she should contact Ruby about the pod. If she did Scorponok might catch her in the act. At the same time, she still wasn't sure about Ruby. So, for the time being she'll keep quiet. If she is lucky maybe she'll reach the pod first. But the question is what would she do if she did reach it first? Well she'll cross that bridge when she comes to it.
It was at that same time that the pod crashed into a small canyon. And it was a ruff landing. It had several rocks on top of it crushing it and damaging it even further.
And this was the sight that Rhinox and Willow saw as Rhinox jumped into the canyon and saw the pod.
"Uh oh." Said Rhinox as he saw the pod and he let Willow down. Rhinox then rushed over to the pod and got the rocks off it.
As Willow came over, she saw the pod was shorting out like the bots did when they had too much energon exposer.
"Warning! Energon concentration in danger zone." Warned Rhinox's computer.
"Divert power from weapons array to field dampers. Maximum tolerance." Said Rhinox as Willow looked worried.
"But what if we're attacked?" She asked him in fear.
"Fixing the pod takes precedence right now." Rhinox told her as he opened the pod up.
Willow was then taken back for what she saw. Inside the pod looked like a human cover in liquid silver, with all sorts of tubes and cables attached to it. But what drew Willow was its chest. There was what looked like a ball of energy pulsing.
"What is that?" Asked Willow as she couldn't look away.
"That's a spark." Answered Rhinox as he brought out the control panel.
Willow continued to look at the protoform's spark. From her understanding of transformers biology, the spark is their soul, the piece of them that makes them, them. Without it they were soulless machines.
When she first meat Optimus and the others she thought of them as invincible machines. But now seeing one of them like this, she felt like she understood them better.
At the same time Rhinox looked at the controls as Willow heard what sounded like a heart monitor.
"Activate protoform. Begin scanning sequence." Ordered Rhinox as he held his breath hoping the damage wasn't as bad as he thought.
"System damage is too extensive. Activation program offline. Spark fading." Informed the onboard computer. "Repair required or protoform will cease to exist in 8.6 cycles."
"No." Said Rhinox softly at the news.
Hearing that Willow did the conversion from Cybertron time to Remnant time as she then gasped as she they had about 9 minutes.
"What do we do, Rhinox?" Asked Willow as she was scared and out of her depth, as Rhinox was cutting into the pod.
"We have to fix the pod enough to get it to activate the scanning sequence. It's the only chance we got." Rhinox told her as he made a hole in the pod. He then grabbed a tool and put it inside the pod and brought out a destroyed chip.
But before Willow could say anything else, they heard footsteps behind them. Turning around in fear, Willow brought out her gun and as she saw something she fired.
"Hey watch it!" Yelled Cheetor as ducked to avoid the shot. Blake and Tigatron followed behind him.
Seeing who it was Willow lowered her weapon. "I'm sorry, I thought…" She then trailed off as they could guess what she meant.
Blake gave Willow a quick glare before facing Rhinox. "Rhinox why haven't you activated the pod?" She asked as she looked around and saw how exposed they were.
"The pods too damaged to activate, we have about eight minutes before the protoform dies." Rhinox told them as he continued working on the pod.
Willow looked at the three as she thought of something. "Cheetor can't you run outside the energon field and call for help? Or maybe we could connect our communicators and get a stronger signal? Or…" But she was cut off, by Blake.
"We don't have time to do that." She told her with a harsh tone.
"But what if the Faunus come?!" Asked Willow in fear. "They'll take one look at me and go for the kill."
The bots looked at her as they did fell bad for her, but Blake on the other hand glared at her.
"I need to leave." Said Willow in a panic as this was becoming too much for her.
Then to everyone's shock Blake slapped her across the face. Willow looked at her in shock as Blake spoke up.
"The reason the Faunus hate the Schnee's so much is because so many have suffered at their hands. We just want to be treated as equals." Said Blake in a harsh tone.
Willow looked down in shame as she then realized something. "What do you mean 'we'?" She asked Blake in confusion.
Blake then took off her bow showing her cats ears, scaring Willow. "You have no idea what's it like to be looked at with hate and fear for no reason other then you look different. And because of that we aren't even treated as living beings. Did you know that the Schnee Dust company puts Faunus in the worst locations where it very likely to die, all because we aren't the same! That is why the White Fang was formed in the first place, so we could gain the same rights as others."
Hearing this Willow felt guilty about how the Faunus were treated. Sure, she could say it was all Jacques fault, but that would be a lie. She heard about how the Faunus were being treated and she did nothing.
"Willow." Said Blake in a strong tone, but not in anger. "We have the chance to fix things now, but we can't if we run at the first sign of trouble." But a small part of her felt like a hypocrite saying that.
Hearing that Willow ddin't know what to say. She honestly expected Blake to attack her, but instead she told her, her faults and how to fix them.
"Your very wise for your age." Praised Willow as her doubts have lifted somewhat.
"I've had some role models in my life." Said Blake as she thought about her father, Optimus, and even Ruby.
The two then turned to the other bots as they just looked at them as they didn't want to say anything at the moment.
"Let's save this Protoform." Said Willow with Determination.
"That's easier said then done." Said Rhinox as he did what he could.

Vacou, Grid Scavos, Bladegator and Boomers location
Meanwhile both Bladegator and Boomer were running as fast as they could to the crash site, but their beast modes weren't meant for speed.
As they ran, they suddenly stopped in a somewhat open area with rocks in front of them and some trees behind them, as they heard a motorcycle. Then out of no where Adam showed up riding a chopper with the White Fang and Predacon symbols on the gas tank.
"Well if it isn't Boomer." Said Adam as he got off his bike and brought out Wilt and Blush. "I have a score to settle with you!"
Seeing this both Bladegator and Boomer Maximized as they drew their blades. But then to Adam rage they turned to each other.
"So, this is Adam." Said Bladegator as he remembered his first fight with him.
"Yeah, he's got great skills. Shame he got some much rage in him." Said Boomer as Adam had enough as he then charged at Boomer as he drew Wilt and tried to slash him.
Boomer saw this and quickly guarded the attack. Then Adam pointed Blush at Bladegator and fired at him, causing Bladegator to dodge the shot. Adam then pushed away for Boomer as he glared at the two.
"You two think cause I organic I'm weaker than you." Adam told them as the two looked at each other in confusion. "Well your wrong!"
"What are you talking about mate?" Asked a confused Boomer. "We don't think your weaker than us, just that you allow your rage to control you."
But hearing that wasn't what Adam wanted as he then yelled and charged at them. HE swiped at Bladegator this time as Bladegator countered and pushed him back. Boomer then charged at him only for Adam to shot at him, causing Boomer to stop and dodge. While Adam was distracted Bladegator did a side swipe at Adam, only for Adam to use his sword to block it as it pushed him back a bit. Adam then brought up Blush to Bladegator's chest as he pulled the trigger sending Bladegator back as he held his chest in pain.
"You ok mate?" Asked Boomer as he came to Bladegator side.
"Yes. My internal repairs have already started." Bladegator told him as the two readied themselves for the next round.
Adam looked at his sword for a second before he jumped up and fired some shots at them. The two then moved as Boomer then brought out his shotgun and fired at Adam who leaned back to avoid the shots. The Bladegator swung down at him, but Adam rolled out of the way and tried to slash him only for Boomer to block it with his sword.
Adam then jumped away with a grin on his face. Seeing this both Bladegator and Boomer got worried looks on their faces. Then to their shock Adam seemed to glow red as she swung his sword as an energy wave came out of it and hit the two. Both Bladegator and Boomer slammed into a tree each as they surged.
"Beast mode." They both said weakly as they both went into stasis lock.
Adam grinned at the two downed bots as he got his sword ready as he walked towards Boomer. As he got right up to him Adam suddenly stiffened up as he then fell over revealing a venom dart in his back.
"Not today, I'm sorry." Said Blackarachnia as she stood then with her gun in hand as it was smoking.
"After all a want Ruby to owe me one." Blackarachnia said to herself as she took the dart out and then grabbed Adam and put him on his bike. She then activated the autopilot and had it return to the Darksyde.
With that done she turned the downed Maximals and though about finishing them herself, but there was a chance they could be working with her in the future. Best not to burn bridges just yet. And with that Blackarachnia headed off for the pod.

Vacou, Grid Scavos, Stasis pod location
At the pod Rhinox thought up of a plan to try to save the protoform, but it was dangerous. His plan was to take the locking chip out of Cheetor, who volunteered, and use it for the protoform.
"This could be dangerous." Warned Rhinox as he wasn't sure about this himself, but it was the only way. "If you soak up too much energon without a locking chip, you'll fry every system you have."
"Our new bud bot, deserves some sort of chance." Said Cheetor. "And I'd volunteered to do this."
"I can do this." Said Tigatron as he saw the worried look on Cheetor's face.
"No, you're better at smelling out danger then me and Rhinox know more about protoforms then any of us." Said Cheetor as he then transformed into robot mode and sat down for Rhinox.
Rhinox walked up behind him and pulled out a tool. "This will only take a nano click, but you'll have to go offline." Rhinox told him.
"I could use the snooze. Repair mode." Said Cheetor as he then shut off for a bit as Rhinox got to work.
At the same time Tigatron walked over to Blake. "Are you ok?" He asked her as Blake leaned to the side on canyon as she looked at Willow who was sitting on a rock lost in thought.
"Yeah." Blake told him as she added. "Aren't you going to tell me I was too hard on her?"
"No." Said Tigatron as Blake looked at him surprised.
"Why not." She asked him wanting to know why.
"Sometimes we must hear things we don't want to in order to grow and change. It was something she needed to hear." Tigatron told her as Blake nodded.
It was then that Cheetor came back online "Ow! That was ultra gear." Said Cheetor as he woke up.
"What was?" Asked Blake curious if transformers dream or not.
"I'll tell you later." Promised Cheetor as they had bigger things to deal with.
"You should transform back into beast mode." Said Tigatron as Cheetor did just that.
Rhinox then went over to the pod an put the chip into the console and properly installed it.
"Stasis lock restored." The pod's computer said as everyone let out a breath of relief. Then the bot in the pod changed as it lost its liquid sliver and looked like an Atlas mech.
"Alright!" Cheered Cheetor as he was glad it worked. "Way to go rhino!"
"What now?" Asked Blake as she looked at the bot.
"I was able to buy us some time with this." Rhinox told them as he worked on the console. "Our only move is to get the activation program back online and hope the DNA sequencers can find something alive in this wasteland."
"They can." Said Blake as everyone but Rhinox looked at her confused.
"Of course." Said Rhinox as he felt silly for forgetting that fact. "Faunus's have some animal DNA in them, so the scan can pick up on you and we can save this bot."
"Can't we get it back to base?" Asked Cheetor as he wasn't against another cat bot on the team, but he wanted the best odds for the protoform.
"There no time." Explained Rhinox. "Stasis lock only slowed down the spark deterioration. We have to get this protoform online and into beast mode as fast as we can, or it's finished."
Hearing that no one said anything as they all knew they were fighting the clock and it looked like the clock could win.
"And don't forget about the Predacons and White Fang." Willow suddenly said as everyone did forget about them.
"Then me and Tigatron will scout the area." Suggested Blake as Cheetor made a face.
"What about me?" Cheetor asked her as he didn't want to be out of the action.
"You are in a dangerous position without your locking chip little cat." Said Tigatron as Cheetor knew he was right. "You will stay here and guard the pod and the others."
Hearing that Cheetor perked up. "You can count on me." Said Cheetor with a grin. "Let's go cat squad!"
Hearing that both Blake and Tigatron gave him a look. "What too soon?" Asked Cheetor as he like the name.
"You've been hanging out with Ruby too much." Said Blake as she and Tigatron left the cannon.
Elsewhere Scorponok was walking towards the pod as he had lost Blackarachnia somewhere, not that he minded. But he also couldn't get a hold of Adam.
"When Megatron finds out about this." Said Scorponok as he then giggled in joy at the thought.
"All he'll hear is your failure." Said Tigatron as he jumped out of no where. "Tigatron Maximize!"
Tigatron then transformed and brought out his gun and fired above Scorponok. Seeing this Scorponok laughed.
"You should get your optics checked. You missed me." Laughed Scorponok as Tigatron grinned at him.
"Did I?" Asked Tigatron as Scorponok hearing a breaking noise.
Looking back and up Scorponok saw Tigatron hit the rocks above him and to his horror a boulder was heading his way. Scorponok screamed as he then ran, forgetting that he could transform and blow the boulder apart. But with his small legs the boulder caught up to him and rolled right over him, making a terrible crunch sound that could be heard all over the area.
At the pod Rhinox and the other heard the crunch sound.
"Sounds like the others are taking care of things." Said Cheetor with a grin.
"Program not accepted." Said the pod's computer as Rhinox tried another code to get the activation program working as it then added. "Spark will terminate in 4.8 cycles."
Hearing that Rhinox let out a yell on aggravation and he slammed his hands on the dashboard.
"Isn't there a back-up somewhere?" Asked Willow as she felt useless right now.
Hearing that Rhinox got an idea. "There just may one." He told her as she started to look for an access port that was intact.
Elsewhere Blackarachnia was walking towards the pod in beast mode as she knew the Maximals and their allies must be at the pod by now. As she walked, she heard a rolling sound curious she stopped and looked down and saw a bomb. Acting fast she jumped up and away while transforming as the bomb went off.
"Come out!" Ordered Blackarachnia as Blake then jumped out with Gambol shroud in blade mode ready to cut her down.
Seeing this Blackarachnia backflipped away as she eyed Blake. Blackarachnia then opened fire with his leg guns as they hit her. But to her shock Blake just vanished as Blackarachnia knew she used her semblance on her.
Blackarachnia then did a round house kick as she hit Blake who was sneaking up behind her. The blow disoriented Blake as Blackarachnia jabbed at Blake's wrist making her loss the clever part of Gambol Shroud.
Blake then jumped back as she switched her blade into gun mode and fired as a couple shots hitting Blackarachnia. But they did little to affect her as Blackarachnia glared at her.
Seeing this Blake took a step back in shock and fear as Blackarachnia then flipped over to her and then started to deliver a flurry of kicks and punches to Blake. Blackarachnia attacked so fast Blake couldn't even use her semblance to escape, so she tried to do it the old fashion way, but quickly lost her gun as she fell to the ground with a thud.
Blake tried to get up as everything hurt, but Blackarachnia put her foot down on her pinning her. Blackarachnia then brought out her gun as it was loaded with a venom dart.
"Don't worry this won't hurt." Blackarachnia told her as it was the truth. The dart was filled with a non-toxic substance. All it will do is put her to sleep for a while.
'And Ruby will owe me another one.' Blackarachnia thought with a smirk. But then she felt something hit her from behind as she was frozen solid.
Seeing this Blake looked over and saw Tigatron there as he walked over to her.
"Are you Ok?" He asked as he helped her up.
"Nothing the CR chamber can't fix." Blake told him as she was hurting bad.
They then heard a familiar buzzing noise as they saw Wazzpinator flying in the distance.
"He's headed straight for the others." Said Blake as she tried to move but stopped as it hurt too much to move.
"No." Said Tigatron as he saw how hurt she was. "Stay hidden and let your aura recover. I'll take care of Wazzpinator."
Hearing that Blake wanted to protest, but she knew he was right. So, she moved to the side of a rock and hide herself as Tigatron went after Wazzpinator.
Seeing that Blake was safe Tigatron fired off some shots to gain Wazzpinator's attention.
"Who dares to attack Wazzpinator!?" Demanded Wazzpinator as he saw Tigatron. "Wazzpinator terrorize!"
And with that Wazzpinator brought out his gun and opened fire on Tigatron. But then Tigatron heard something else.
"Terrorsaur Terrorize!" Said Terrorsaur as he flew down towards Tigatron and opened fired with his shoulder cannons.
Seeing the shots coming Tigatron jumped out of the way and transformed back into beast mode and ran. He knew if he stayed too long a stray shot could find its way to Blake and there was little cover to use in the surrounding area. So running was his best choice at the moment.
While Tigatron wasn't as fast as Cheetor he was still fast enough to avoid getting hit. As he ran, he started to get an idea on how to get rid of the two flyers but it required timing and luck.
At the same time with Rhinox and the others, Rhinox attached a cable to himself and the pod.
"Rhinox are you sure about this?" Asked Willow as this seemed like a terrible plan.
"No." He told her as he added "But we're out of options right now."
"Then let me do it Rhinox." Said Cheetor as he walked over to him. "You can get the start-up program from me."
Rhinox shock his head. "I won't allow it Cheetor. Regardless of how this turns out its going to hurt, a lot. And without your locking chip I can't guarantee your life."
Hearing that neither Cheetor nor Willow had anything to say.
Rhinox then imputed some commands into the pod as he spoke. "Download sequencer program through my central processor."
"Warning process could cause damage to your circuity." Warned the pods computer.
"Just do it!" Yelled Rhinox at the pod as he already knew the risks.
The pod then started to hum as it started to download the program as Rhinox looked to be in pain form the process. Then there was a spark as Rhinox went flying into the wall behind him. He then fell down as he collapsed on the ground as his body then surged from the damage he took.
"Circuit damage. Field dampeners down. Energon surge. Stasis lock imminent." Warned Rhinox's computer as Willow and Cheetor rushed over to him.
"Beast mode." Rhinox weakly said as he fell unconscious.
"Did it work?" Asked Cheetor in worry.
"I don't know." Willow told him as they then heard the pod.
"DNA sequencer online at 35%" Said the pod as the scanner came out of the pod and the protoform regained it liquid body.
"Scanning for compatible lifeforms." Said the computer but with it at 35% the range had weakened a great deal.
"What do we do now?" Asked Cheetor as he was unsure of what to do.
"I guess we wait for Blake to come back or for something to come to us." Willow told Cheetor hoping that Tigatron and Blake would get back here fast.
Back with Tigatron he was still running as he found what he was looking for. As right in front of him was an energon vent. Now was the hard part getting past it as it got ready to fire off some raw energon. And lady luck was on his side as he just jumped over the vent as it then fired off its energon, hitting Wazzpinator head on.
Wazzpinator then hit the ground with a thud as he surged. Hearing this Tigatron stopped and looked at his handy work and gasped.
"Where's Terrorsaur?" He asked himself as he looked around for the other Pred.
Then out of no where a shot hit Tigatron as he went flying right into a stone pillar knocking him out cold.
"Right here!" Said Terrorsaur with a laugh as he looked at the downed Maximal with a wicked grin.
"So much for a Maximal presence. Now the pod will be mine!" Cheered Terrorsaur as he could already feel the new Predacon praising him, as he took off for the pod.
At the pod thing weren't going good as the pod couldn't find any lifeforms to scan and the protoform spark was getting closer to expiring.
As Cheetor and Willow sat near the pod, as they didn't know what to do, Rhinox opened his eyes.
"Did it work?" Asked Rhinox weakly as he slowly got up.
"Rhinox!" Said Cheetor in joy seeing Rhinox get up.
"The pod. Did it work." Repeated Rhinox.
"Yes, but there's nothing in range." Willow told him as Rhinox shut his eyes in frustration.
Then out of no where a missile hit Cheetor as he flew through the air and landed with a thud on the ground.
Seeing this both Rhinox and Willow looked over and saw Terrorsaur landing on the ground near them. Willow then brought out her gun, but she was so scared she couldn't hold the gun straight.
"Well, well, two downed Maximal, a Schnne, and a stasis pod." Said Terrorsaur with a grin. "This must be my lucky day."
"Stay back!" Yelled Willow as her hands shook even more.
Terrorsaur looked at her and laughed as he walked over to her and took the gun right out of her hands. "Don't even try to be a hero." He warned her as he took aim at Rhinox with the gun.
Willow saw this and tried to get the gun back, but Terrorsaur shoved her away.
They then heard a bird call as they looked up and saw a falcon flying above them. And pod seemed to as well as the scanner program went into full swing as it then scanned the falcon and started to make a beast mode for the protoform.
"What! NO!" Yelled Out Terrorsaur as victory was in his grasp.
There was a bright light form the pod as something then shot out of it like a bat out of hell.
"Still feeling lucky Terrorsaur?" Asked Rhinox in a mocking tone as he stood up.
Terrorsaur shook in anger as he then saw a shadow fall over him as the new Maximals flew down and grabbed his shoulders with its claws and took him into the air. Terrorsaur was carried away a mile or two as he was then slammed into a rock wall and let go of.
Terrorsaur got up as he saw red and activated his shoulder cannons and took off after the falcon. He then started to fire wildly as some shots were close, but none of them hit the falcon. This went on for a bit as the falcon moved too fast for Terrorsaur to lock on to, so he fired randomly hoping to hit it. But then Terrorsaur hit a boulder causing it to explode as the flying rocks hit the falcon.
The falcon then dived down as Terrorsaur then lost sight of it as he looked around for it. He then saw it flying towards him with the sun to its back.
"Airazor Maximize!" Said the now named Airazor as she had a body like Skyshooter, but female. Their bodies were nearly the same, but Airazor was a bit smaller and her arms, legs and shoulders were greyish drown and the rest of her body was gold.
Airazor then flew at Terrorsaur while firing mini missiles from her wrists, as Terrorsaur did the same with his cannons. The two then collided in the sky as they tried to choke the other one as they fell to the ground. As they neared the ground the two broke away as Terrorsaur fired at Airazor, who dodged each blast.
Airazor then returned fire as she fired a barrage of his wrist missiles at Terrorsaur. By the time she was done Terrorsaur fell to the ground in pieces.
Airazor then flew back to where Rhinox and the others were as she touched down before them. She looked at them as her eyes fell on Rhinox.
"You're Rhinox?" Said Airazor as she didn't even know how she knew that.
"How'd you know?" Asked Rhinox as he wasn't sure either.
"I'm not sure." Said Airazor as she then added. "But I think I owe you my life."
Hearing that made Rhinox smile. "Let's save we're even." He told her making Airazor smile.

Vale, Patch, Axalon
It took some time, but when Rhinox's group was able to get a hold of the Axalon, search and rescue teams went out to find everyone and bring them home. Currently Blake was in the CR chamber as she was last one who needed to use it.
"You were a little late this time Optimus." Said Rhinox in a joking tone. "Fortunately, Airazor took care of business. They'll be salvaging Terrorsaur for days."
"Yes, it was enjoyable to watch." Added Willow as she sat at the command table.
"Welcome to the Maximals." Said Optimus. "There a lot to fill you in on, but for now that can wait."
"Thank you." Said Airazor as this was a lot to take in.
"There still one thing I don't understand mates." Said Boomer as he sat at the table as well.
"And what's that?" Asked Optimus curious to what he had to say.
"Adam, had us at his mercy. But when we came to, he was gone. What happened?" Boomer asked them all as no one had anything.
"My inside person happened." Said Ruby as she walked into the room.
"What do you mean?" Asked Bladegator confused.
"What I mean is, when Adam was about to kill you, my person stopped him and saved you." Explained Ruby.
"But why?" Asked Willow not sure what the reasoning was.
"So, I owe them one." Ruby told them as Optimus didn't like that.
"How will you repay them?" Asked Optimus curious to what Ruby may do.
"I don't know yet but know this I won't betray us in any fashion." Ruby assured him as the CR chamber opened up and Blake walked out.
"Now then how about a tour of the base Airazor?" Asked Optimus.
"I would love that." Said Airazor as the two walked off.
Blake was about to head out herself, when someone called out to her.
"Blake can we talk for a second." Said Willow as all the bots and Ruby looked at them. "In private."
Blake looked at her in confusion, before answering. "Sure." She told her as the two walked off and found an empty room.
"I want to thank you." Said Willow confusing Blake.
"Thank me?" Blake asked Willow unsure what she meant.
"You'd helped me remember that not all Faunus are like the one in the White Fang. And that I shouldn't look at all of them the same way." Willow told her as Blake was speechless.
Then after what felt like forever Blake spoke up. "Your welcome." Was all she could say.
Willow then walked to the door. "I meant what I said Blake. Thank you." And with that Willow left as she headed for the ground bridge and home.
Blake stood there as she felt like the world was a little brighter now and there was more hope for the future.
Frist off sorry for the wait, I lost my drive for a bit. But the new season of RWBY got my hype train going. And I'm going to geek out here, so spoiler warning for those who haven't seen the first episode of the new season. Yay Penny's back and better then ever!
I can't wait to see what they'll do this season and I'm already stoked.
Now back to my story, I know some people may wonder why I had Willow in this chapter. The reason being is I wanted to do some chapter growth with her, and I felt I could do it best here. I hope we see her in volume 7.
