The Trigger part 2

Atlas, Flying Island
Currently Tigatron's group was holding their position as they formulated a plan. They hoped the other Maximals had received their message and were sending reinforcements. But for the meantime they were on their own.
They saw one of the White Fangs ships leave after the other one was shot down by the monument. Their best guess was that ship left with their wounded and were bring more men with them and with close range weapons.
But as Winter and team CFVY talked Tigatron in beast mode sat on a nearby ledge looking out at the island.
"It is as though I have come home." Tigatron said out loud to himself. "Though my heart is a Maximal fluid pump, my soul is that of a tiger. And on this strange flying island, despite it's weaponry, I at last find myself at peace. It must not fall into the clutches of the Predacons or the White Fang!"
Tigatron then heard someone walking up to him as he turned around and saw Velvet there.
"Velvet, is everything ok?" Asked Tigatron as Velvet sat down next to him.
"Yes. Strategy was never my strong suits." She told him as she then added. "I heard what you said. How can you be so clam during all this?"
Tigatron looked at her as he thought about his answer. "It is during these times we must remember what we can and can't do. It will do us no good to panic on what we can't do."
Hearing that made Velvet more nervous. "I wish I knew what I can do right now." She told Tigatron.
"What do you mean?" Asked Tigatron confused.
"My semblance allows me to copy the fighting style of any person I see. And to complement it I made it so my weapon can copy other's weapons. But due to that I never know when the right time to act is." Velvet told him as Tigatron thought about it.
"You have an amazing gift Velvet and knowing when to act is a hard thing to know, even for transformers." Tigatron told her as Velvet looked at him confused.
"Not to sound rude, but aren't you a machine? I thought you could think far faster than us." Asked Velvet as Tigatron chuckled.
"While that my be true. We still have to stop and think." Admitted Tigatron as he put a paw on Velvet's shoulder. "Remember why you fight and that will help you know when to act."
Velvet smiled at Tigatron's words as she wondered if she'll ever get her timing right.
Meanwhile on the other side of the island Adam, Neo, Blackarachnia and Scorponok (both in beast mode) were walking towards the monument. After the other ship left with their wounded Adam wasted no time and had his other men set up a base camp while he and the others went to control the monument.
As they walked no one said anything. But Blackarachnia mind was a buzz with theories on this place.
'The monument seems to be what's powering this whole island. But who built it and for what reasons?' Blackarachnia thought to herself as she then looked at Adam. 'If Adam reaches it first, he'll use it to kill everyone that ever apposed him. The same could be said for Megatron. And why does that bother me?'
As Blackarachnia thought about it the only answers could be her old Maximal programing or maybe Ruby Rose. As she thought about Ruby, the girl had kept up her end of their deal and that meant something to Blackarachnia.
"Wait!" Blackarachnia suddenly said as everyone stopped. "There's something here."
Blackarachnia then walked over to a rock with the weird symbol on it. As she got closer it glowed as the ground under her gave way. Luckily for Blackarachnia she was a quick thinker as she shot a web line out and saved herself.
Back up top Adam and Scorponok walked over to the hole. Neo stood to the side as she heard a rumbling noise. Looking to her side she saw a large boulder falling over in her direction. The next thing Adam and Scorponok heard was a loud thump noise and glass shattering. Looking over they saw Neo holding her chest as she breathed heavy.
"What just happened?" Asked a confused Scorponok.
"It would seem the island is protected by boobytraps." Answered Blackarachnia as she climbed out of the hole.
She then looked at the symbol as she then figured out that it meant a trap was located there. Useful information, information she planned to keep for herself.
Adam saw the way Blackarachnia was looking at the symbol as he came to the same conclusion.
"Let's move." Said Adam as he looked at Blackarachnia. If she wanted to play games, then so will he. And with that the four continued on.
Back with Tigatron's group Tigatron and Velvet rejoined the others as the sat on the ground with Airazor resting under a tree.
"Are we ready?" Asked Tigatron as he sat near Airazor.
"Yes." Answered Winter as she explained the plan to him. "We're going to assume that the others didn't get the message. That way even if they do show up, we'll hopefully be in a better position."
"Are we still going for the monument?" Asked Velvet as she looked at the monument with some worry.
"Yes, whoever controls it controls the island." Winter told her as Velvet understood.
Tigatron then turned to Airazor. "How are you feeling?" He asked her.
"Better." Said Airazor but she was still pretty weak from her crash as she added. "I still can't fly."
"In that case the lady shall ride a tiger." Said Tigatron as he got up and then walked over to Airazor and kneeled before her. Airazor weakly got up and sat down on Tigatron's back as they face the group.
"Let's go." Said Winter as they made their way forward.

Vale, Patch, Axalon
At the Axalon the dropship left the Axalon as team RWBY, Optimus and Rattrap were aboard it. When they got the message, they acted fast. With not knowing what they were dealing with they wanted a team that was fast and small. Optimus went as he was one of the few flyers they had. Rattrap because he was a great infiltrator. And team RWBY due to the range of skills and the fact they were organic and should help calm team CFVY just in case. They left Skyshooter back at the Axalon in charge in case anything happened.
"Man, I still don't see why I got to this crazy island?" Complained Rattrap as he sat in a seat in beast mode.
"Because we don't know anything about this monument or how to get inside. You're the best infiltrator we got, so it makes sense." Said Ruby from the co-polit seat as Weiss flew the ship.
"The curse of a great reputation." Said Rattrap as he hung his head down.
Optimus (in robot mode) shook his head as he opened the back hatch as he looked at the Axalon in the distance.
Inside the Axalon Rhinox pressed several buttons as Skyshooter stood behind him.
"Launching laser probe, now." Said Rhinox as a green beam shot out of a dish on the Axalon's roof. The beam flew through the air until it hit Optimus in the chest. Seeing the beam hit him Optimus then closed the hatch.
"This is Maximal base calling Optimus. Come in Optimus!" Said Rhinox over the comm.
"This is Optimus Primal." Respond Optimus as he walked to the front of the ship. "Sounds like the laser link is working fine."
"It's line of sight transmission. But at least it's free of energon interference. And the inferred beam should go right through that cloud cover." Said Rhinox as that was something working for them.
"That's good to hear." Said Optimus as he wondered something else. "Skyshooter what's the plan in case we fail?"
Hearing that Rattrap and the girls gave Optimus a look but knew that too much was riding on this, not to have a back-up plan.
"We're currently moving the more important gear to a cave system on Vale we found a few weeks back. It should provide enough cover for us in case things go south." Explained Skyshooter as it was the best plan they could make on such sort notice.
"Really mate, I though we were dumping this stuff at Ruby's place." They heard Boomer joke in the background.
"Big news big bot!" They heard Cheetor say out of breath. "Both Wazzpinator and Terrorsaur took off from Pred central. They must be back online!" Warned Cheetor.
"You hear that Optimus?" Asked Rhinox hoping they had time to prepare.
"More than hear it Rhinox. We're living it live!" Said Optimus as he rushed to the back of the ship as Terrorsaur and Wazzpinator flew towards them.
The two flyers then transformed as they fired at the ship. Weiss moved the ship out of the way as Rattrap returned fire with the ship's weapons, but like last time the flyers easily dodged them. But as they kept their eyes on the ship, they failed to see Optimus flying up behind them as he fired at them with his wrist cannons.
The two flyers dropped at bit from the hit, but quickly composed themselves. Terrorsaur flew at Optimus while Wazzpinator went after the ship.
Terrorsaur fired his shoulder cannons at Optimus, but Optimus flew out of the way as he then activated his back missiles and fired. Terrorsaur smirked as he fired at the missiles destroying them with ease. But that's when he realized Optimus was gone.
"Huh?! Where did he go?" Terrorsaur asked himself out loud in confusion.
"Right here." Said Optimus from behind Terrorsaur as he fired his missiles again. And since he was close to Terrorsaur, all Terrorsaur could do is cry out in pain as he fell through the sky as his flight systems were damaged. Optimus watched as Terrorsaur then transformed into beast mode and glided through the air.
Back with the ship Weiss did her best to dodge Wazzpiantor's fire, but some shots hit them. Rattrap groaned as he couldn't hit the bug as he was too quick for him to hit. Ruby, Blake and Yang fumbled inside the side as it quickly turned.
"That's it!" Yelled Yang as her eyes turned red for a second. "I can't take it anymore!"
Yang then went for the door as Ruby stopped her.
"Yang what are you going to do?" Asked Ruby as Yang stopped as she had no plan.
"Ok but I'm done with this." Said Yang as the ship shock again.
"Don't worry I have a plan." Ruby told her with a smirk making Blake and Yang look at her in confusion.
Outside Wazzpinator smirked as he dodged more fire from the ship. He then saw the door open as he flew to line up with it. It was then Yang came flying out with Gambol shroud wrapped around her. She then fired at Wazzpinator who was in shock from her sudden appearance.
Wazzpinator flew backwards until he hit something soft. Curious he looked back and was shocked to see a giant Nevermore. The Grimm screeched at him as Wazzpinator screamed out in fear as he flew away as the Nevermore chased him.
Yang watched this in confusion as Blake and Ruby started to pull her up. This was the first time she had ever seen a Grimm chase a transformer before as they always avoided them due to the energon in their vains. Unless that force commanding them is at work here.
"Hang around here often?" Asked Optimus with a grin as Yang rolled her eyes at him.
"That was bad Optimus." Said Yang as Optimus grabbed her and flew her up to the ship.
"No worse than your jokes." Retorted Optimus as they entered the ship as the door closed.
"But in all seriousness did you see that Grimm just now?" Asked Yang as everyone in the ship looked at her confused.
"I did." Said Optimus as he then quickly explained what they saw.
"Ok that is odd." Admitted Blake as that was weird behavior for Grimm.
"We need to get to that island now." Said Ruby as she had a bad feeling about this.
"Agreed." Said Optimus as Weiss increased their speed.

Atlas, Flying Island
Meanwhile Adam's group continued towards the monument at a good pace. Then as the neared a tree with a symbol on it as Blackarachnia suddenly stopped, as she then grabbed Scorponok by his tail and tossed him backwards.
"Hold it we should avoid this area." Warned Blackarachnia as Scorponok got up and glared at her.
"Why?" Asked Scorponok as he cleared the cobwebs from his head.
"Call it intuition." Was all Blackarachnia said as that didn't sit well with Adam.
"I need more then intuition Blackarachnia." Said Adam as Blackarachnia kicked a rock near the tree. The symbol glowed as the tree flew over onto the path they were taking.
Adam looked at the fallen tree then at Blackarachnia as he was right, she did know something about the traps. But to call her out right now would be a waste of time.
"Let's go." Was all Adam said as they continued.
But what they didn't know was they were being spied on. A fair distance away Airazor watched the whole thing and saw the symbol glow as well. Currently their group had a rock wall on both sides of them as they wanted some cover as they spied on their enemies.
"Well what did you see?" Asked Winter hoping for something good.
"Adam's group is getting closer to the tower." Answered Airazor as Winter didn't like that as Airazor added. "Also, Blackarachnia was freaked out about some symbol."
Hearing that confused them as Velvet spoke up. "Like this one?" She asked as she pointed at the symbol as it then glowed.
Velvet gasped as she took a step back in fear. Then to everyone's shock a large rock fell in front of them and behind them, trapping them inside. Then the walls started to close in on them.
Seeing this Tigatron turned to Yatsuhashi. "Take Airazor." He told him as Yatsu took Airazor off his back. Tigatron then transformed as he brought out his gun. But then Coco took it from him.
"We need more fire power." Was all she said as she fired at the rock before them. The shot was more powerful then normal as the rock shattered.
But before they could ask why, they saw the monument powering up. Acting fast they all ran as the monument fired destroying the rock formation behind them.
Seeing they were safe Winter turned to Coco. "What happened with Tigatron's gun back there?" Winter asked her as Coco dusted herself off.
"My Semblance." Said Coco as she handed the gun back to Tigatron. "It's called Hype. It allows me to use my aura to increase the effect and power of dust. And since you said energon is a more powerful form of dust, I figure it would work the same."
Winter nodded as that was a useful semblance. She then turned to Airazor. "Where are the Predacons and White Fang now?" She asked the female bot in worry.
Airazor looked around as she found them. "They're getting closer to the tower now. They stopped and looked this way, but they seem more energized now."
"Then we must hurry." Was all Winter said as she took off. The others did the same as Tigatron changed back into beast mode and Airazor went back onto his back.
But they then stopped as they heard an engine. Looking up they saw a drop ship coming their way. Seeing this they feared the worst when it turned, and the door opened up revealing Ruby.
"Sorry it took us so long. We ran into a little trouble getting here." She told everyone as everyone relaxed a bit.
The ship then landed, and everyone got out. Weiss than rushed over to her sister and gave her a hug. Normally Winter wouldn't allow it, but after everything they went through, she allowed it this time.
"How are you holding up Coco?" Asked Ruby as she checked in with her.
"Surprisingly well." Coco told her as she knew the action kept her from thinking about things too much.
"And your team?" Ruby asked her as she looked at them as her team was talking to them.
"The same. But what's happening now?" Asked Coco wondering what they'll do.
Ruby looked Coco in the eyes as he answered her. "We can't let this weapon fall into the wrong hands, otherwise…" Ruby trailed off as she didn't even know where to start.
"I see." Was all Coco could say.
At the same time Optimus and Rattrap meet up with Tigatron and Airazor.
"It is good that you have come." Said Tigatron as he held out his paw as Optimus shook it as Tigatron continued. "The Predacons and White Fang have almost reached the monument. We must stop them!"
"Agreed." Said Winter as she joined the conversation. "Also, we forgot to mention something in out message Optimus.
Hearing that Optimus wondered what it was. "What did you forget?" He asked her.
"This island is protected by traps that range in different forms. We recently found out that an odd mark, like that on indicates there is a trap." Explained Winter as she pointed to a nearby arch with the symbol in the middle.
Curious Optimus grabbed a nearby rock and tossed it over to the arch. The symbol glowed as the arch then fell apart landing on the rock.
"So, I see." Said Optimus as he was surprised by the trap.
"And don't use energy or dust weapons." Added Airazor. "This place gets ticked if you do. Boom!"
"Wait a minute! Wait a minute." Rattrap suddenly said as he stood on his hind legs., "You mean whoever built this place, went to all the trouble of making traps and then marked them. And they won't let you use energon or dust?
"What are you getting at Rattrap?" Asked Optimus confused at his line of thought as both team RWBY and CFVY joined them.
"I'm saying this ain't no paradise! It's a puzzle! This whole place is designed to attract intelligent species and then test them." Explained Rattrap as what he said made sense, but there was one big question remaining.
"Test them? Test them for what?" Asked Airazor as she then added. "And who could do something like this?"
"It must be the Quintessons!" Said Ruby as her eyes glowed. Hearing that the bots gasped while the organic were confused.
"Who are the Quintessons?" Asked a confused Coco.
"Ruby has a unique insight for transformers history. Are you sure it's these Quintessons?" Asked Weiss making sure Ruby was on the right track as she avoided bring up the Matrix.
"Maybe." Admitted Ruby as she wasn't sure herself. "But this fits their M.O."
"Regardless of who made this place we must defend it from those who would cause it harm." Stated Tigatron firmly as he refused to let it fall into evil hands.
"Then we better move." Said Optimus as he pointed at the monument. "Look!"
And true to his words the Predacons and White Fang were practically at the monument.
Seeing this Ruby went into full leader mode.
"Weiss, you and Fox take the ship and keep it safe. If we lose it, we lose our way off this island. Optimus, you and Airazor head up the air assault, do what ever you can but don't fire carelessly. Winter you'll lead the ground assault, we must make sure the Predacons and White Fang never get that monument. Tigatron you're with me, we'll try to get inside the monument and keep it safe. But if worse comes to worse we must destroy it."
Hearing team CFVY was shocked at the plan of attack Ruby made just now, while Winter heard about Ruby's plans this was the first time, she heard her come up with one.
"You heard her!" Said Optimus snapping team CFVY and Winter out of their thoughts. "Let move people!"
And with that everyone rushed to the monument hoping they would be able to stop the Predacons and White Fang.
At the monument though Adam group arrived as they looked at the building before them.
"How do we get in?" Asked Adam as he looked for any opening near them.
"We'll have to make one." Said Blackarachnia as she transformed.
"We can't." Said Scorponok scared as he too transformed. "If we use energy or dust weapons it will blast us!"
Hearing that Blackarachnia knew he had a point. But before anyone could say anything, they heard sounds of a battle. Confused they looked over at the cloud cover and saw flashes of light. The next thing they knew both Terrorsaur and Wazzpinator flew through the cover with three Nevermores on their tail.
Seeing this shocked everyone on the island as the Maximals stopped and looked on in shock and surprise. And to their shock the monument power-up and fired three shots at each Nevermores. Unfortunately for Terrorsaur and Wazzpinator the two were too close as the beam killed the Grimm as they lost control and crashed somewhere on the island.
Everyone was shocked by what just happened as the Maximals then quickly rushed forward again.
Back with Blackarachnia she knew she had a chance as she brought out her gun and fired at the wall before her making a hole. With an entrance before them everyone walked in and was shocked at what they saw.
Inside the monument was machine no one could even describe or even guess what it did. As everyone looked around the room, they found a staircase leading upwards.
But before any of them could make it over the stair case they felt a weird chill go up their spines. Which was weird considering both Blackarachnia and Scorponok didn't know that could happen.
"Thank you for finding this place." Said a calm feminine voice from the hole they just made. Shocked everyone turned around and saw the woman who talked to the Beringel that attacked the Maximals so time ago.
"Who are you!?" Demanded Adam as his hand went for his weapon.
"Someone who's far stronger than you." Said the woman as she walked towards the machine and smiled.
Neo not liking the woman's tone snuck up behind her. She then jumped at her and to her shock she stopped midair as she was then slammed into Scorponok. The two hit the wall near a symbol as the symbol glowed. The next thing the two knew they were falling through the air, as Neo opened her umbrella stopping her fall as Scorponok clung to her legs.
"Please don't drop me." Begged Scorponok over and over as they two fell at a controllable pace.
Back in the monument both Adam and Blackarachnia were shocked at what they just saw. But Adam wasn't idle as he then charged for the woman, but as soon as he got near her the same thing happened to him as he floated in the air.
"Like that was going to work." Said the woman smugly as Adam then went flying through the hole as he flew over the Maximals.
Seeing this the Maximals were shocked and confused as that made no sense. But none the less they continued onwards.
With Adam he continued through the air until he crashed into his base camp. Seeing this the men there were shocked.
"Adam! What happened?!" Asked one of the White Fang as he helped Adam up.
Adam only groaned as he had no idea what just happened.
"Contact the base." Said Adam as he then groaned in pain. "Tell them to come and get us quickly."
Hearing that confused the men but considering how Adam came to them it might be for the best.
With the woman she then turned to Blackarachnia, only to see she was gone. She then turned to the stair case as she heard footsteps going up them.
With Blackarachnia she didn't know who that was, but she sure as hell wasn't going to wait around and find out.
"That wasn't very nice." Said the woman as she was now in front of Blackarachnia.
"Wait?! How?" Asked Blackarachnia as she was confused. How did this person get ahead of her like that.
The woman then made a wave of her hand and a nearby support pillar fell over trapping Blackarachnia under it. Blackarachnia tried to move the pillar but it was too heavy for her. Seeing this the woman smiled as she turned and walked up the stairs.
Outside the monument the Maximals were rushing the to monument as fast as they could. But then the ground shook in front of them as something came out of the ground.
Before them was a creature with long black segmented body. Each of the segments has a pair of clawed legs and is covered by a protective shell. It's head had no eyes, but it did have large jaws. This was a Grimm called a Centinel.
But before the Maximals could do anything the monument powered up and fired at the grimm, killing it. But since it was close to the Maximals they went flying.
"What was that?" Asked Rattrap as he got up and shook his head.
"A Centinel." Answered Winter as she got up.
"I know that." Said Rattrap. "What I want to know is why that tower fired at it like that?"
"Maybe it's programmed to attack Grimm on site. That would explain why there are none here." Suggested Ruby as everyone was up.
But then to their dismay more Centinels came out of the ground as they surrounded them.
"Go." Said Winter as she got sword out. "We'll take care of this."
"Right." Said Optimus as he and Airazor transformed and flew upwards.
Ruby then used her semblance to speed past the Grimm as Tigatron followed in her slipstream.
Once free Ruby activated her comm. "Weiss come in." Said Ruby hoping her hunch was wrong.
"I'm here Ruby." Answered Weiss as she and Fox were above them.
"I need you to go outside the cloud cover and make sure no more Grimm are coming." Ordered Ruby as a Centinel came out before her, but Ruby quickly cut it's head off.
"I understand." Said Weiss as she flew the ship out of the cloud and saw nothing at first. Then she started to fly the ship around the cloud, just to be safe.
Back in the monument the woman had just reached the top as she blew open a pair of doors before her. She then walked into a large room with a weird star symbol with an eye in it on the floor. On the other side of the room was a throne in front of a large window.
"And they thought they could hide this place from me." Said the woman with a smirk. She then walked forward as she then stood in the center of the symbol.
The symbol then glowed as a pillar of light shot up. The woman grinned as she felt the control of the island coming to her. When the light died down the woman then walked over to the throne and sat down. She then turned the throne around so she could face the outside.
"Now that I have the island, it's time for people to see what is coming for them." Said the woman with a smirk.
The monument then started to glow as it shot out beams of light from all sides. These beams hit the cloud barrier. The beams then went upwards as they meet in right above the monument. Then the monument fired something upwards destroying the barrier.
Seeing this the Maximals could only look on in worry as none of them knew what this could mean.
The woman looked over as she saw Optimus and Airazor in the air. She swung her arm out, then the monument started to fire random blots of energy across the island.
"Incoming!" Yelled Coco as one blast landed near them.
Blake saw one blast coming for her but used her semblance to get away. Yatsuhashi went flying as one blast landed near him. Yang tried to shotgun punch one coming for her, but the blast was too strong as she too went flying. Velvet used her semblance to move around like Ruby would avoiding the blasts. And Winter made an ice wall to protect her and Coco.
In the air Optimus and Airazor flew about to avoid the blast. While Ruby and Tigatron were nearly at the monument and didn't have much to worry about.
Airazor then got close to the monument and figured since it was firing all these small shots that it couldn't charge up a large blast. She then opened fired on the monument, which proved to be the wrong decision. The monument charged up and fired at Airazor. Airazor went flying through the air as she barely gained control before crashing on the ground.
Inside the monument the woman was smiling as she just watched Airazor get blasted.
"Now then." Said the woman. "Let's see what Ozpin has to say about this. Set a course to Beacon academy."
Weiss watched in horror as the island started to move and head south as it picked up speed, as she chased after it. On the Island Optimus saw and felt the island moving. And since he knew nothing about the woman, he thought it could only mean one thing.
"Rhinox! Code one emergency! Evacuate Maximal base! Scramble! Scramble!" Warned Optimus as he saw the ocean coming up on them.

Vale, Patch, Axalon
At the Axalon emergency lights and sirens were wailing, as everyone was rushing around. As everyone grabbed what they could Dinobot (in beast mode) calmly walked over to the command table and brought up a map showing where they were and the island. As he looked at the map, he realized something.
"It's not coming here!" Said Dinobot as everyone stopped what they were doing.
"Are you sure mate?" Asked Boomer not buying it.
"Yes." Said Dinobot as he projected the most likely path for the island to travel.
"Wait, that passes over Beacon academy." Said Bladegator as that was the only point of interest he could see.
"Why head there?" Asked Cheetor confused as why would the Predacons head there and not here.
Skyshooter thought about it as there was only one possible option. "Unless someone who isn't Predacon or White Fang is controlling the island." He told the others as they gasped.
"Then who is in control?" Asked Dinobot as he wondered who this third party was.
"That is the question Dinobot." Said Skyshooter as he tried to contacted Optimus to let them know.

Flying Island
Ruby pushed her semblance as hard as she could as she was a flurry of petals as she finally reached the monument. Taking a moment to catch her breath she saw Tigatron rushing towards her. Seeing this Ruby went inside and gasped at the machine before her. As she looked at it, she was about to bring out Crescent Rose when she heard grunting.
"Move!" Heard Ruby as she recognized it as Blackarachnia.
Looking at the machine and then to the stair case she heard Blackarachnia from, she sighed. Ruby then went to the stair case as she did owe Blackarachnia one. As she headed up the stairs Tigatron reached the hole and saw Ruby heading up.
'She must have a reason.' Thought Tigatron as he looked at the machine before him.
Ruby walked up a few steps and then saw the state Blackarachnia was in.
"Blackarachnia!" Cried Ruby as she rushed over to her.
"Ruby!" Said Blackarachnia in surprise not expecting her here.
Ruby looked at the beam pinning her as she then brought out Crescent Rose and put the base under the beam.
"On three." Said Ruby as Blackarachnia nodded. "1,2,3!" Said Ruby as they both pushed as the beam moved enough for Blackarachnia to slip out.
Seeing this Ruby retracted her weapon as the beam fell.
"What happened here Blackarachnia?" Asked Ruby as none of this made any sense.
"I don't know. One second we were gaining control of this place, the next thing we knew this weird woman shows up and started to throw us all over the place." Explained Blackarachnia as she didn't understand it herself.
Hearing that confused Ruby, but she knew they had bigger problems right now. "We can discuss this later. For now we need to get out of here." Said Ruby as Blackarachnia wasn't going to argue.
A few seconds before with Tigatron he stood in front of what he thought was the power source for the place. He knew what needed to be done as he transformed.
"May I be forgiven, for what I must do." Said Tigatron with a grim tone as he aimed his gun at the power source and fired.
The shot hit the power source as sparks appeared all over the monument. Even the woman at the top saw this and frowned.
"I was so close." Said the woman as she got up and headed for the stairs.
Outside the monument everyone saw the monument sparking even Weiss as she brought the dropship down. Seeing this everyone rushed towards it and got in. As Tigatron got in Yang noticed something.
"Where's Ruby?" Yang asked Tigatron in worry.
"I don't know. When I got inside, she was heading up for some reason." Tigatron told her as Yang was about to head back and find her. But to her relief she saw Ruby rushing towards them. But the relief vanished when she saw Blackarachnia following her.
Yang was about to say something when the two got aboard.
"Go, go, go!" Cried Ruby as she closed the door with Blackarachnia inside. Without knowing about Blackarachnia Weiss took off.
With the White Fang their transport ships arrived as they rushed aboard as no one wanted to stay around as the island fell.
On the island the woman had just got out as a medium sized Nevermore flew down and picked her up and got her to safety.
All the groups watched as the island hit the ocean as it skipped serval times as it lost mass each time. Soon it settled as it slowly started to sink, but when the water hit the monument, the top glowed blue as it fired a weird blue beam towards the moon. A beam that everyone on that side of Remnant could see.
But what no one knew was there was an identical monument on the moon as the beam hit it and redirected it towards deep space. As the beam went out it torn through space time like how the Maximals and Predacons ships did when they first arrived on Remnant.
When it was all done no one said anything on either side.
"Amazing." Said Blackarachnia hoping there was sensor data to study.
Unfortunately, that made everyone remember she was there. Everyone, but Ruby and team CFVY aimed their weapons at her.
"Good job Ruby, we now have a prisoner." Praised Winter as this could get them some good intel on their enemies.
Seeing this Ruby was glad she was still next to Blackarachnia as they were now over solid land. "I'll open the door." Whispered Ruby hoping Blake or Velvet didn't hear her.
"Actually, I made a deal with her." Said Ruby as she walked away from Blackarachnia. "I get her out of there and she tells me who was in control of that monument."
"Someone else was in control?" Asked a confused Optimus.
"Yes." Said Blackarachnia as she saw Ruby was right in front of the door control. "I have no idea who or what she was, but she was humanoid with pale white skin and hair."
Hearing that confused a lot of people as Rattrap spoke up. "Aw, don't tell your buying this." He told the others.
"Believe me if you want rat, but I'm out of here." Said Blackarachnia as she rushed Ruby as Ruby hit the wall as Ruby 'accidentally' hit the door control. Seeing the door open Blackarachnia jumped out of the ship as she used her webbing to hit a nearby rock formation as she landed safely on it. Seeing this Airazor was about to give chase.
"Wait." Said Ruby as everyone looked at her confused. "It's been a long day and the last thing we should do is a man hunt."
Hearing that Optimus agreed. "She's right." He told the others as he added. "Right we should head back to base and regroup and examine everything that happened."
Everyone agreed as they all knew the unspoken questions. What was that beam and who got it? And who is this mystery woman and is she the mysterious being controlling the Grimm? The only thing they did know was time would answer these questions.
And there's the second part of the trigger. Bet none of you thought Salem was going to show up and take the island for herself did you. This was Salem's first move in the beast wars. Now I bet some of you are wondering will she join the Predacons or not. The answer is I'm not telling. You'll just have to wait and see.
Also, in regard to Coco's semblance I've already stated the energon is already more powerful then dust so I see no reason why Coco's semblance can't work on it.
And no the Quintessons will not be joining the story. I only said their name because I can literally see them doing something like this in the old G1 cartoons.
