One month after the battle with Sabrina The Blades are preparing for the upcoming battle royale tournament.
The Aware and Unaware communities are trying to strengthen their friendships so that things become more livable for both parties, while that is going on Violet is picking up Rini from the airport, Don, Michelle, Leo and Juliet are helping Sector Security with an increase in criminal activities and Harkon took Lyla out shopping.
With only Jack, Serana, Drake and Jurgen at the headquarters Empress attacked.
Empress who had all knowledge of when The Blades would be away tipped the battle in her favor, she was met by Jack who had trouble keeping up with her, after taking Jack out briefly it was Serana who took his place, Serana had troubles keeping up with Empress, when Jack later rejoined her both Duelists were pushed back, Serana told Jack to run and get help, as Jack ran Serana was defeated.
Jack then met with Drake a few floors higher, now Drake faces Empress he sealed the room with a combination of his psychic powers and magic to give Jack the time to request backup.
2. Storm of Darkness - Part 2.
Jack felt bad as he ran along the hallways and up the stairs, leaving Drake all alone against Empress he knew his friend was doomed to fail, at least Drake still had some of that craziness he had when he was still fighting for the Orichalcos and the first month as him being a Blade, slowly he got rid of those tendencies, but now Jack was glad some of that still was in him.
While he was running he tried to call Leo and Juliet both didn't answer, he knew it was pointless to call the cafe since the negotiations between the Aware and Unaware ambassadors were in full swing, even though this whole thing was the idea of Empress to create a distraction calling it off now would set bad blood and cause some chaos, playing further into Empress' plans.
Jack then tried to call Kailyn but he got no reaction from her, Michelle and Don didn't answer either, Harkon was out of the question, he was the accountant and no longer part of the Blade's combat division, that only left Violet Jack knew she could be back on time, but she was with Rini now, Jack knew the two had booked an hotel room and honestly he didn't want to disturb them, not now so shortly after all that had happened between them.
Jack entered the security room, the systems in place here were of the highest quality, a lot of monitors that could track the Duel Disk of each Blade, Jack's eyes glanced over the monitors their screens were all black, Jack tried to get some information over where his teammates were but he only got static. 'Empress must have disrupted the systems when she destroyed the front door.' Jack muttered to himself.
Jack approached one of the monitors he pressed a few buttons, a call screen came up, when the call was answered Jurgen's face was displayed.
'Jack I was just about to call you, any status updates?' The old man asked.
'I have less than half my Life Points left, Serana is knocked out and Drake is facing the intruder alone, no other Blades are available for back-up, I'm afraid we're done for.'
Jurgen scratched his head as he thought for a second. 'Jurgen, Empress wants you, she's not intending to kill us, you need to run, Drake got her closed in with his barriers, if you run now you'd be well on your way and I can still buy you some time.'
Jurgen shook his head. 'I stepped back to the sideline, made you the boss of the combat division, overall I am still one of the Blades Jack, my house is under attack, she wants me and my men are suffering for it. This won't stand.' He said then he broke the connection, Jack loudly cursed.
Drake carefully observed his opponent, the tall woman who named herself Empress she had a sultry smile on her face, behind her stood the only monster she controlled, the massive monstrosity that was Arcana Force EX - The Dark Ruler. (4000 DEF)
Prior to when Drake confronted her Empress had used the effect of The Dark Ruler to attack twice which had put the beast in defense mode, Drake only controlled a face-down monster.
(Drake: 8000) - (?: 3000)
'I have no intend to kill you, your teammate Serana was also spared.' Empress spoke. 'But I will beat you to an inch of your life if I have to.' She threateningly added she draw her card.
'I activate Pentacle of Coins X.' Empress stated a spell appeared in front of her, the card appeared in the air and started to turn around. 'If this lands right side up I toss three coins then I get to draw one card for each heads, if it lands upside down you toss three coins and for each one that lands on tails you draw one card.'
Drake looked at the card when it was right side up he said stop, Drake was not surprised to see the card made one more rotation before it stopped in the right side up position.
Three coins appeared in front of Empress, slowly she rose her hand the coins were lifted from the ground by her magic, then she flung them into the air and each coin landed on heads.
With a smile the tall lady drew three cards.
'Now I normal summon Arcana Force I - The Magician.' Empress stated an explosion of confetti appeared in mid-air as the confetti slowly fell down a figure leaped out gracefully landing in front of Empress, a lanky figure, his skin was completely white, it's face had no mouth only two blue eyes, it's armor was shaped like the outfit of a jester, it was black and white, it had red, pointed shoes. (1100 ATK)
The card of The Magician started to rotate above it. 'Stop.' Empress declared, it stopped right side up.
'When a spell is activated the attack points of The Magician doubles until the end of that turn.' The tall woman explained.
She then took another card from her hand, it appeared as a face-down card behind The Magician.
'The Dark Ruler's battle position cannot be changed this turn.' Empress spoke then she crossed her arms. 'The Magician attacks!'
Drake's face-down card disappeared in it's place appeared a small bird with green feathers, it wore leather, samurai-like armor. (400 DEF)
The Magician fired an orb of black magic, the small bird violently exploded leaving only some blackened feathers.
'That was Gusto Egul.' Drake said: 'When it is destroyed by battle I can special summon a level four or lower non-Tuner Gusto monster.' Drake selected a card on his Duel Disk then a card slipped out of the slot. 'Come forth Gusto Thunbolt!'
Drake took a step back lightning struck the ground where he just stood, a beast with green fur appeared, it was cat-like in appearance it wore leather armor on it's back and around it's chest, a sharp horn decorated it's forehead, sparks of lightning spouted out from the tip, the beast laid down on the ground. (1200 DEF)
'My turn ends for now.' Empress stated.
Drake drew his card then he let out a low-pitched laugh. 'Empress, let me show you why you'll never get past me!' He quickly played one of his card Monster Reborn flashed onto the field, the moment it did The Magician grew to twice it's size. (1100- 2200 ATK)
Then the holy Ankh, the Egyptian symbol life, it resembled a Christian cross with a teardrop shaped loop on top instead of a vertical piece, the thing started to glow brightly when the light faded Gusto Egul was fluttering underneath it. (200 ATK)
'Now I Tune my level one Egul to level four Thunbolt!' The small bird let out a screech a beam of green light surrounded it, one single star became visible inside the bird then it changed into a single green ring floating in mid-air, then Thunbolt made a leap, four stars were visible in it's body, the moment it passed through the ring the one star from Egul got added to it's four stars, a beam of green light then shot through the room through the ring.
'My tranquil soul, give form to my ferocious dreams! Fly free into the world of the wake! Synchro summon! Take shape, Daigusto Gulldos!' Drake chanted, the green light faded away Egul had grown up, the bird now a ferocious eagle-like beast had a sharp beak and sharp talons, it's armor had evolved too now it had a saddle on it's back and the armor was sporting several metal spikes, in the saddle now sat a young woman, she had long, green hair and wore a white tunic, a brown coat and in her hand she wore a white staff with a sickle-like construction on the tip. (2200 ATK)
Drake then pressed a command on the display of his Duel Disk two cards slipped from the Graveyard. 'I shuffle Egul and Thunbolt back into my Deck to activate the effect of Daigusto Gulldos!' Winda, the woman that was riding the war bird started to swing her staff around a violent wind started to whip up Drake felt the power from the wind flowing passed him, Empress caught the blunt of the force, she had to take a few steps back before she found her footing again. 'The effect of Daigusto Gulldos allows me to destroy one monster on the field, I choose The Dark Ruler!' Drake roared so that Empress could hear him above the noise the wind made.
'You think me a fool?' Empress replied Drake saw her face-down card activated. 'Reversal of Fate!' Empress roared: 'Now the effect of The Dark Ruler is treated as the opposite effect!' Slowly the card above the monster rotated to it's upside down position, then the blades made of wind cut into the massive beast, black mist started to leak out of the wounds like blood, the mighty beast roared in agony as the wind kept pelting at it.
'The Dark Ruler's upside down effect, when it gets destroyed all cards are destroyed with it!' Empress explained.
Finally The Dark Ruler fell down too weak to stand it erupted in an explosion of black mist, Daigusto Gulldos and The Magician were caught in the explosion when the mist faded the other two monsters were gone as well.
'Back to square one.' Drake said with Gulldos gone the wind died out as well, the Blade quickly played a card which appeared face-down in front of him in a vertical position. 'I knew you'd try something like this, now without your big monster the Duel turned in my favor.' Drake gloated then he waved as a sign he ended his turn.
Empress drew her card, she had a serene smile on her face, Drake was on high alert. 'Pushing back Jack and taking out Serana at the same time is no small feet.' Drake spoke. 'But for now I'm not impressed.' He casually added, this struck a nerve with Empress, she then took a deep breath before she showed her smile again. 'This is so very childish Drake, trying to get me angry so that I lose my focus.'
The tall woman quickly played a spell, another Cup of Ace appeared. 'Stop.' She said after a second the card stopped at the right side up position, two cards flew out of the chalice into her hand.
She then placed another card in her Duel Disk it appeared face-down in a vertical position.
'Next I summon Arcana Force VI - The Lovers.' Black mist rose up in front of Empress, it was an alien-like creature female in shape, it's black body was shaped like a dress, the beast had no clear legs, it had a blue armor-like construction around the waist, large, round shoulders a white head without hair, the black arms were thin and long and ended in human-like, white hands. (1600 ATK)
'The Lovers attack directly.' Empress stated.
'Then I activate Emergency Teleport!' Drake stated the air rippled in front of him as his spell opened up, briefly a hole appeared in the air and Winda, Priestess of Gusto: The woman who was riding Daigusto Gulldos earlier, dropped out, she knelt down and defended herself with her staff. (400 DEF)
'If I destroy Winda you can special summon a Tuner from your Deck, thanks to your spell she will be banished when the turn ends.' Empress said. 'So I cancel my attack and end my turn instead.'
Winda looked back at Drake, she winked before the portal she dropped out before swallowed her again.
'This shows you're not some flunky.' Drake said with a sigh as he drew his card: 'You actually know what you're doing, any other flunky Duelist would have destroyed Winda.' He then quickly placed a card on his Duel Disk, it appeared as a face-down monster on his side of the field. 'I end my turn.' Drake stated.
Empress for a second looked confused at Drake for his flunky remark, she then sighted as she drew her card.
'I activate my trap.' The tall woman stated, her purple-bordered card opened up. 'Arcana Call, by banishing an Arcana Force monster from my Graveyard one face-up Arcana Force monster gains the banished monster's effect for the same result as it currently has.'
A holographic card of The Wheel of Fortune appeared above Empress.
'This means I can special summon The Emperor and The Empress, their effects are negated and they are banished during the end of my turn.'
First appeared the alien-like The Empress. (1300 ATK)
Next to her appeared mechanical menace that was The Emperor. (1400 ATK)
'Now I send all three of my monsters to the Graveyard!' Empress shouted, pillars of light shot up from the floor all throughout the room, Drake had to dodge a handful of them, where the pillars went through the floor there were scorch-marks eventually three pillars shot through Empress' monsters. 'I summon Arcana Force EX - The Light Ruler!'
Just when Drake could catch his breath the floor got illuminated by a bright light, Drake was nearly blinded, when the light faded a monster resembling The Dark Ruler stood in the middle, It was made of black metal with red lines decorating it much like The Dark Ruler, the chest armor of this monster was rounded, it had the same small head and two gigantic dragon heads that The Dark Ruler had, The Light Ruler had no blade-like spikes covering it's body except for one at the end of it's tail, it only had one instead of the two The Dark Ruler had. (4000 ATK)
A holographic card started to turn above the monster. 'Stop.' Empress declared, the card stopped in the right side up position.
'Next I summon Arcana Force XVI - The Tower.' Empress continued, next to The Light Ruler appeared another alien-like creature, it had black stone-like flesh, no arms and no legs either, the beast was nailed to the ground, the creature was the size of The Light Ruler which was gigantic as it is, like the name suggested the alien was shaped like the tower of a castle, on top of the castle was a black orb with fire shaped like eyes and a mouth, the top of the orb had a hat shaped like the battlements of a castle. (0 ATK)
A holographic version of the card started to turn around, Empress told the card to stop which it did immediately at the upside down position.
'Now I target one monster you control, if it it face-down it is flipped face-up and all it's effects are ignored, then The Tower gains attack points equal to the attack points or defense points of your monster.'
The eyes of The Tower lit up Drake's face-down card disappeared in it's place appeared an older man with a gray beard and long, gray hair, he wore armor-like robes mostly white but with streaks of gold and purple in it, in his hands the man held a cane that matched his armor. (0 ATK/2100 DEF)
'I choose defense points.' Empress stated, cracks appeared in the skin of The Tower flames broke through as the beast got stronger. (0- 2100 ATK)
The Light Ruler attack!' Empress commanded, one of the dragon heads lashed out it grabbed Drake's monster, Drake felt the pain his monster felt, he concentrated on the power of his magic to quell the worse of the pain.

'Since The Light Ruler killed a monster, to it being in the right side up position I can now add a card from my Graveyard to my hand.' The holographic version of The Dark Ruler appeared above Empress as she retrieved the card.
'Now The Tower direct attack!' She commanded the flaming mouth of the beast opened up Drake saw a wall of fire closing in on him quickly he crossed his arms and manifested his powers around him creating a bubble, he could still feel the intense heat but the flames didn't hurt him.

When the fire stopped Drake dropped the barrier, he felt exhausted.
'You're on the verge of braking Drake, I shall give you a moment to breathe, I end my turn for now.' Empress said with her sultry voice.
Drake looked around the room, there were burn marks everywhere, this wasn't produced by his D-Gazer.
Drake drew his card. 'Jack I'm sorry can't hold her off any longer, I hope you got reinforcements.' He whispered.
'I activate Teleport!' Drake's spell appeared on the field. 'I pay eight-hundred Life Points to special summon Psychic Snail!'
A cone-shaped object appeared on the field, it was beige in color with several orange, glowing orbs on it, slowly a humanoid creature crawled out, it was half man and half snail, it had slimy purple and orange skin, while it's body and arms were those of a human it's head was that of a snail. (1900 ATK)
(Drake: 1900- 1100) - (?: 3000)
'Now I normal summon Psychic Commander!' Drake stated a loud buzzing sound filled the air, slowly a robot soldier wearing a green army tunic appeared, the soldier was driving a futuristic tank, it had no wheel but was hovering in mid-air using some kind of anti-gravity orbs. (1400 ATK)
'Psychic Snail attacks The Tower!' Drake shouted, the orbs on the snail's shell started to glow.
'I use the effect of Psychic Commander, I pay five-hundred Life Points to decrease the attack points of The Tower by the same amount.'
Psychic Commander aimed the barrel of his tank at The Tower, a beam of green energy shot out of it, The Tower became weaker. (2100- 1600 ATK)
At that moment Psychic Snail had charged it's attack, several beams of orange energy pierced the skin of The Tower, with a scream the creature exploded.
(Drake: 1100) - (?: 3000- 2700)
'Come on Empress give me your worst!' Drake shouted as he spread his arms, he closed his eyes as the two dragon heads of The Light Ruler came closer, a terrible sound filled the air, Drake fell one blast close to him, the screech from Psychic Snail sounded through the room as the man-snail fell, then Drake felt a second beam, he had braced himself with all his magic but he felt himself being flung through the room, he passed out before he landed.

Before Drake's psychic barriers disappeared Empress retrieved The Emperor from her Graveyard.
Quickly she started to climb the stairs when she reached the next floor someone clearing their throat stopped her, slowly Empress turned around only to see an old man wearing some bathrobes standing there, arms behind his back.
'So that is what we're dealing with here.' Jurgen spoke as he immediately saw who Empress was. 'Don't have many of your kind here in America, color me intrigued.'
Jurgen rolled up the sleeve of his bathrobes a bit, a heavy looking Duel Disk was strapped to his wrist, the device was painted white and adorned with gold, the device was made of a single piece, no parts of it could fold or move. Jurgen didn't had a D-Gazer on instead his left eye glowed with a golden light.
Empress mouth curled into a smile, her The Light Ruler appeared behind her. (4000 ATK)
'If it is me you want, try and catch me.' Jurgen said as he started to run towards the stairs.
(Jurgen: 8000) - (?: 2700)
'I'll slow you down with Masked Dragon.' Jurgen stated, a man-sized dragon with a long neck started to crawl down the stairs, it walked on all four legs, the skin of the beast was red, it had white armor covering most of it's upper body, it's long tail slithered behind it, it's bat-like wings were folded on it's back. (1400 ATK)
'Next two face-down cards.' Jurgen stated briefly the cards appeared on the stairs, but since he was on the move the cards disappeared. 'I end my turn with that.' Jurgen stated as he reached the top of the stairs.
Empress quickly gave chase, she played a card from her hand and once more The Emperor appeared next to her, the card stopped at the right side up position. (1400- 1900 ATK)
The Light Ruler also got stronger. (4000- 4500 ATK)
Then Empress caught a glimpse of Jurgen. 'The Light Ruler attacks Masked Dragon!' She commanded, she saw a beam of light vaporizing the small dragon, and as she had expected a second one appeared replacing the first one since that was the effect of Masked Dragon. (1100 DEF)
Quickly she retrieved The Empress from her Graveyard.
(Jurgen: 8000- 4900) - (?: 2700)
Just as she reached the top of the stairs she saw Jurgen step into a capsule-shaped elevator completely made out of glass. 'The Emperor attacks Masked Dragon!' She commanded, her mechanical menace gave chase to the elevator where Masked Dragon sat on top of, violently the dragon exploded and a third one appeared. (1100 ATK)
Then Empress saw a second of the glass elevator quickly she hopped in, there were only two options, the roof and the headquarters, she pressed the roof button and the doors closed.
'So he took the attack of The Light Ruler, he wanted me to attack that Masked Dragon so he played it in attack position. I had expected the other two cards to be a trap. Either he is bluffing or he is planning something.' Empress was deep in thoughts, she noticed Jurgen's elevator slowed down glass platforms appeared between the two elevators their monsters and face-down cards appeared on the platforms.
'I end my turn Jurgen.' Empress stated.
The old man quickly drew his card and added it to his hand, then he played another card it appeared face-down next to his other two face-down cards.
'So do I Empress.' He replied.
The tall woman drew her card, she looked up through the glass ceiling of the capsule she was standing in, slowly but surely they got closer to the roof of the Blades Headquarters.
'I normal summon The Empress!' Once more the alien woman appeared next to The Emperor. (1300- 1800 ATK)
'I offer The Light Ruler, The Emperor and The Empress!' Empress roared the terrible roar of a mighty beast sounded throughout the building, pillars of darkness rose up between both elevators, Jurgen watched as The Dark Ruler leaped up from the ground. (4000 ATK)
The card above The Dark Ruler stopped at the upside down position.
'The Dark Ruler wipe out that Masked Dragon!' Empress commanded, just as the dragon heads prepared their assault, four fluffy sheep appeared in front of Jurgen's elevator in a puff of smoke, their entire body was covered in fur, with two large, curved horns on the sides of their heads, each had a different color: Orange, blue, pink and red. (0 DEF x4)
'Fine this changes nothing, my attack continues!' Empress stated.
'Now I activate Threatening Roar.' Jurgen stated a large roar sounded coming from the lower floor of the headquarters, the dragon heads drew back as The Dark Ruler looked confused.
Empress let out a soft chuckle. 'So that is what you're planning, it is most certainly exiting.' She picked a card from her hand. 'I activate Earthquake.' The spell appeared in front of the elevator, the glass platform with The Dark Ruler shook violently, the beast lowered itself laying down on the ground. (4000 DEF)
Jurgen drew his card. 'I activate DNA Surgery!' He shouted while his trap turned face-up. 'I declare Dragon.' He stated first The Dark Ruler changed, the metal changed into scales, the mechanical dragon heads became real, the the four sheep changed, they grew a scaly tail their fur changed into scales.
'And now!' Jurgen shouted as the elevator reached the roof, the doors opened Empress leaped out finding herself standing in a beautiful garden, a large mansion stood in the exact middle of the roof, there were all kinds of exotic plants and trees, there was even a small pond, a magical barrier was erected like a dome around the rooftop mansion making it invisible for most people.
Jurgen casually stepped outside a spell appeared before him: Greater Polymerization.
'I shall give the souls of the dragon's servants...' Jurgen spoke his four former sheep and his Masked Dragon changed into orbs of light: Black, brown, red, green and blue. '...To give birth to the most terrifying dragon! Fusion summon! Descent to aid your mortal servant!'
Five separate roars echoed through the air around the building, then five different serpentine heads appeared over the walls, one was glowing with golden scales, another one was dark-purple, the third one had almost black scales and was covered in armor, the fourth head had a smooth skin instead of scales and was blue the last one was made out of flames.
With another roar the beast leaped over the wall landing in front of Jurgen, it's body was massive covered in yellow scales, it stood on two legs, had small yet muscular arms ending in sharp nails and two massive wings, each of the five heads was fixated on Empress.
'Five God Dragon!' Jurgen shouted as he spread his arms, the massive beast let out another bloodcurdling roar. (5000 ATK)
'Five God Dragon can only be destroyed in battle by a Light monster and thanks to Greater Polymerization it deals piercing damage and cannot be destroyed by card effects.' Jurgen smiled as he saw Empress' eyes narrow a bit. 'Five God Dragon attacks The Dark Ruler Quintuple Annihilation!'
Each of the five heads unleashed their attack at the same time an explosion following the attack obscured everything from view, when the smoke cleared part of the roof was destroyed, luckily this was part of the holographic environment created by the D-Gazer and not actual damage, The Dark Ruler was completely gone, Empress was using her arms to shield her face, slowly she lowered them, she had an angry look on her face.

'The destruction effect of The Dark Ruler has no effect of my Five God Dragon, with both of your boss monsters in the Graveyard your chances of winning are next to none.' Jurgen stated.
'We shall see.' Empress hissed as she drew her card.
'I shall show you why you can't win.' Empress said with a hiss in her voice. A pillar of light and a pillar of black mist erupted through the roof.
'I banish The Dark Ruler and The Light Ruler from my Graveyard.' Empress stated, the roof started to tremble terribly, the two pillars grew in size until they mixed together.
'Anarchy and order, when classing chaos will reign supreme!' A white dragon head broke out of the light, it resembled that of the head of The Light Ruler, it had a single metal blade stuck in it's forehead.
Out of the darkness erupted another black-scaled dragon head, this one looked more like the heads The Dark Ruler had with many horns.
The light and darkness pillars dissolved, the body of the creature was akin to that of both The Light Ruler and The Dark Ruler, it's metal was pure white instead of black, it had black lines covering most of the body, the arms of the creature were massive covered in spikes, it had three tails, each tail ended in a massive blade. The white armor covered almost the entire body there was only one gap in the stomach where a blue orb was shining in the light. (4500 ATK)
'This is Arcana Force EX - The Chaos Ruler!' Empress shouted, the holographic card above the monster stopped at the right side up position.
Footsteps behind Empress distracted her for a second, as she turned her head she saw Jack, he had taken the stairs all the way to the roof, his Duel Disk was still active.
'Jurgen run.' He said the old man looked at him and shook his head.
'No chance Jack, the two of us can take her down, I have made you the boss of my Blades, but you still answer to me and now in this situation I outrank you.' Jack knew Jurgen was serious, it had no use to argue.
(Jurgen: 4900 & Jack: 3300) - (?: 1700)
As soon as Jack took his position behind Empress his Junk Blader materialized before him. (1800 ATK)
'I summon Junk Changer.' Jack stated a cylinder-shaped machine crash landed on the roof leaving a hole as it did, slowly smoke poured out of some of it's seems a small part on the top lifted forming a small head, then arms broke out of the sides followed by legs out of the bottom, it had a red sensor on the middle of it's body. (1500 ATK)
'I use the effect of Junk Changer to increase the level of Junk Blader by one!' Jack explained the red sensor lit up, four glowing stars appeared above Junk Blader then a fifth one appeared.
'Now I tune level three Junk Changer to my now level five Junk Blader!'
The sky turned red, the loud roar of a dragon sounded in the distance, the gigantic Crimson Dragon broke through the clouds, Jack's left arm started to burn with a warm feeling, light appeared from under his sleeve as his Signer Mark lit up, with a roar the Crimson Dragon disappeared as the sky turned green.
'Gathering stars light the way to my destiny, soul of the ancient dragon reborn! Synchro Summon! Shine, Stardust Dragon!' Jack chanted.
Everything went silent for a few seconds slowly stardust fell out of the sky, suddenly with a roar Stardust Dragon fell out of the green sky, it spread it's large wings as it started to circle around the building, the sun reflected on it's snow-white scales, after making a round the beast landed on the roof in front of Jack. (2500 ATK)
'You have some guts Jack.' Empress spoke all hints of her sultry voice were now gone. 'You've interrupted me, for intruding you cannot attack now and the turn goes to me.' She stated as she drew her card.
'During my Main Phase one the outcome of The Chaos Ruler changes.' The holographic card above the monster slowly turned to the upside down position.
'The upside down effect of The Chaos Ruler allows me to destroy a card, if it is a monster you take damage equal to it's attack points, if it's a spell or trap you take thousand points of damage.'
One of the dragon heads lashed out at Stardust Dragon.
'I use the effect of Stardust Dragon, I send it to the Graveyard to negate your destruction effect and destroy your The Chaos Ruler instead!'
Stardust Dragon closed it's wings, the dragon head bounced off, then the Signer Dragon slowly faded away.
'In that case I pay thousand Life Points so that The Chaos Ruler won't be destroyed!' A flash of light followed as Stardust Dragon disappeared, when the light died out The Chaos Ruler was unharmed.

'Now The Chaos Ruler! Law of Chaos!' Empress shouted one of the dragon heads blast out a beam of light, the other one a beam of darkness, Jack braced himself, the explosion at his feet left a wide gap in the roof, Jack landed hard on his back, all the air was knocked out of him, he rolled until he hit the wall surrounding the building.

Jack tried to stand up, his body was mangled at least his leg was broken, he didn't feel his left arm either, when he looked at his arm it was in an unnatural position, Jack felt the magic inside his body working to quickly restore the damage, this was the only reason he wasn't in shock yet though he felt his consciousness fading.
'You cannot defend yourself any longer Empress.' Jurgen stated. 'Thanks to Jack your Life Points are extremely low.' Jurgen played a card it was Monster Reborn, the holy Ankh appeared under it and with it Masked Dragon. (1400 ATK)
'Even if by some miracle you can block the battle damage caused by my Five God Dragon my Masked Dragon is strong enough to finish it, Jack has given me this chance of victory.'
Jurgen slowly crossed his arms. 'Five God Dragon!' He shouted: ' Quintuple Annihilation!'
'I pay half my Life Points.' Empress calmly stated.

Jurgen watched as the card above The Chaos Ruler slowly turned back to right side up position.
'With the right side up effect I can banish an Arcana Force from the Graveyard to increase the attack points of The Chaos Ruler by a thousand!'
She retrieved The Empress from the Graveyard, black electricity appeared around The Chaos Ruler as it suddenly became stronger. (4500- 5500 ATK) 'Law of Chaos!' Empress shouted the beams fired by both monsters clashed in the middle. 'The Chaos Ruler is a Dark monster, it cannot destroy Five God Dragon and I keep plenty of Life Points.' Jurgen stated.
'In that you're wrong Jurgen, The Chaos Ruler also counts as a Light monster!'
A huge explosion followed when the smoke cleared Five God Dragon was gone, the two heads from The Chaos Ruler loomed above Jurgen.
'When The Chaos Ruler destroys a monster by battle I can decide the damage, you either take the normal damage you would take from that battle as battle damage or I can negate the battle damage and deal damage equal to the attack points of the destroyed monster as effect damage.'
'Jack!' Jurgen roared above the terrible sound The Chaos Ruler made. 'Empress her true identity...' What Jurgen shouted next Jack couldn't hear over the noise of the two blasts of light and darkness that hit Jurgen.

the last thing Jack saw before he passed out was an orb of bright light slowly rising out of Jurgen's chest, the orb disappeared into the chest of Empress, as it did nine long shadows rose out of the ground behind her, Jack watched as the lifeless body of Jurgen fell on the stomach.
'No...' Jack stammered, with her foot Empress rolled the body on the back then her gaze slowly moved up towards Jack, the last thing Jack saw before he passed out was the devilish smile on Empress' face.
On a rooftop, outside the Blades headquarters.
Empress was looking from a nearby rooftop, slowly more of The Blades returned, an ambulance was there as well as a coroner and Sector Security.
'I see you were successful.' The voice of a woman sounded behind Empress a portal opened, a young woman stepped out, she was about half the size of Empress, the Unaware people saw she was in her early twenties with a slightly tinted skin, she had light-brown eyes and short red hair, with two braids framing her face, her outfit was unusual for the cold weather, she wore a black, strapless top leaving her shoulders and midriff bare, a red, leather miniskirt with a cut in the back from the bottom to roughly halfway and red high-heeled boots. For the rest she wore a black, knee-high sock on her left leg, arm-length finger less gloves it appeared as if she had cut off the fingers herself, a black, leather choker with a half moon shaped pendant hanging from it, in her ears she wore earrings with a half moon hanging from a small chain, she had an extra red ring through the top of her right ear.
What the Aware people saw was someone not human, the woman's eyes were actually red, she had horns growing out of the sides of her head, they curved behind her ears ending slightly behind her earlobes, her ears were long, small and pointed, her fingers were slightly longer than those of a normal human she had long nails which she had painted red, she had a long snake-like tail, the cut in her miniskirt allowed the tail to move freely for now she kept it under the skirt and wrapped around her right leg, she had several ring pierced through the tip of it and finally on her back she had two sets of wings, a smaller set growing right below her shoulder with a larger set directly underneath the first set, the wings were now folded on her back when unfolded they looked like the wings of a bat, her top didn't hinder the wings.
The horns, tail and wings were hidden by a powerful magic, only those who were very proficient with magic could see through it.
Slowly Empress turned around to face the young woman. 'Yes I've got the soul right here.' She gently took a glass vial out of her pocket it was glowing with a bright light. 'I've instructed Hoji to prepare for the procedure.' The young woman added.
'Akai, I don't need his help on this, I've done this countless...' Empress started but the woman called Akai interrupted her. 'I know but this soul is touched by a literal god. Hoji only wants to look at the soul, just to see if the god's presence is gone from it, if not it could kill you.' Akai quickly explained, Empress scoffed: 'Fine.' She replied, she then snapped her finger a portal opened, Empress stepped through with Akai closely following behind her.

We jump back in time a bit. While Empress confronts the Blades in their headquarters Jack's call for help went unanswered.
Juliet and Leo couldn't help their closest friend either, the reason? They got held up by a very powerful Distortion.
