Drake had decided that he, Michelle and Don would take out the remaining Mythic Dawn members: Norman, Leroy and Senna.

Drake's Duel against Norman was decided to take place in the docks arena on top of a cargo freighter, Michelle chased Senna into a maze of cargo containers while Don chased Leroy to the rooftop of a warehouse. While the Duels seemingly were in the favor of The Daggers, but The Mythic Dawn had managed to get their hands on some powerful monsters.

16. Daggers in the Shadows - Part 2.

Docks arena.

Drake stared at the massive beast, lightning struck around the yellow, dragon-like creature its entire appearance looked like The Winged Dragon of Ra only more skeletal in appearance it had a long tail, massive claws and huge wings, when the dragon let out a roar lightning struck around it. (4000 ATK)

Winda, Priestess of Gusto drew back in fear a bit. (1000 ATK)

Reeze, Whirlwind of Gusto bravely faced down the beast. (1900 ATK)

Drake's eye glanced over the only face-down card he had on the field.

The appearance of the beast stirred the water, the ship they stood on was gently rocking on the waves.

(Drake: 6500) - (Norman: 4100)

'Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder attack Reeze!' Norman shouted.

'I activate Interdimensional Matter Transporter!' Drake shouted a weird, futuristic machine appeared behind Reeze seconds later the lady and the machine disappeared.

'In that case Hamon attacks Winda! Lost Thunder!' Norman roared, the mighty dragon roared lightning struck the young woman.

'When Hamon destroys a monster by battle it deals one-thousand points of damage to my opponent. Hell's Punishment!' Norman shouted with a laugh Drake braced himself as lightning struck him once.

(Drake: 6500- 3500- 2500) - (Norman: 4100)

'Since you destroyed Winda I special summon Gusto Egul from my Deck.' Norman stated, the small bird with green feather wearing samurai armor dropped out of the sky. (200 ATK)

'So you wanted a Tuner, it's funny you think you actually stand a chance, doesn't matter if you Synchro summon, Xyz summon or whatever other summon you can do, you won't beat me.' Norman spoke he took a card from his hand. 'I activate Pot of Desires, I banish ten cards from the top of my Deck face-down in order to draw two cards.' Norman stated casually he put ten cards in his pocket then drew two. 'I set two cards.' He stated placing them both as spells or traps.

'I end my turn.' He then stated, the weird device from earlier reappeared on the field and shortly after Reeze appeared in front of it. (1900 ATK)

'You think I will Synchro summon? I simply needed a weak monster on the field.' Drake drew his card then in the distance first the form of Raviel disappeared after a huge explosion, only seconds later the form of Uria erupted in flames and died out. 'Looks like your companions were less lucky my team won.' Drake confirmed after looking at his tabled.

'Those fools, what were they thinking.' Norman growled reacting to the loss of his team. 'Norman! You're the only one left of your team!' Drake shouted drawing the attention of his opponent: 'I use the effect of Reeze by sending Esper Girl to the bottom of my Deck I swap control of Egul and Hamon!'

Norman cursed as his mighty dragon flew over to Drake and Drake's small bird reluctantly flew over to Norman's side. 'Hamon attack Egul!' Drake shouted he muttered a sorry towards his monster after he called the attack.

'I activate Damage Diet!' Norman roared one of his two face-down cards opened up, a transparent barrier appeared around Norman. 'Now all damage is halved.' He stated lightning then struck twice first on Egul then on Norman.

(Drake: 2500) - (Norman: 4100- 2200- 1700)

Norman's eyes were full of hatred, Drake was calm.

'Reeze direct attack.' Drake then said the woman took a leap boosted by a small tornado she struck Norman in his chest with her staff.

(Drake: 2500) - (Norman: 1700- 750)

'You.' Norman hissed: 'End your turn so I can wipe that smug look off of your face.'

Drake casually took a card from his hand and played it, the card appeared face-down behind Reeze. 'Show me your worst Norman.'

'First of all I must skip my second draw phase due to Reckless Greed.' Norman stated: 'But I do not need that card.' He added.

'I activate Snatch Steal to take control back of Hamon.' Norman stated as soon as the spell card appeared on the field it flew back to Drake's side.

'Hamon take out Reeze!' Norman roared his dragon also let out a roar lightning struck Reeze.' Drake was laughing as his monster got incinerated.

(Drake: 2500- 400) - (Norman: 750)

'Got you!' Drake shouted: 'I activate Psi-Curse!' His face-down trap opened up. 'I destroy Hamon since it destroyed Reeze, then you take three-hundred damage for each level Reeze has which is a level five monster!' Drake bellowed.

'I activate Desert Sunlight!' Norman replied as his trap activated sunlight broke through the clouds, Hamon crouched down and folded its wings around itself. (4000 DEF)

Then a purple beam from Drake's trap card pierced the Sacred Beast.

'When Hamon is destroyed while in defense mode I take no more damage this turn.' Norman explained as the remains of Hamon turned to dust.

'I end my turn.' Norman said: 'I don't need a Sacred Beast to take you out, now draw.'

Drake placed his finger on the top card of his Deck. 'If I draw a monster it's over.' Drake said he closed his eyes then drew his card.

'I set this and end my turn.' Drake stated slightly disappointed by the fact he drew no monster, the face-down card appeared on his side of the field.

'Then I'll end it with Doomcaliber Knight!' A knight clad in heavy, black, medieval armor riding a black horse came galloping onto the field, his black cape flowed behind him in the wind, in his hands the knight held a broad sword and a shield with the face of a demon on it. (1900 ATK)

'Direct attack!' Norman roared the knight charged forward.

'I activate Whirlwind of Gusto!' Drake shouted as his trap card opened.

'I shuffle Gusto Egul and Windaar, Sage of Gusto into my Deck then I special summon Windaar!' A small tornado appeared on the field out of it leaped the young-man he held his spear-like weapon pointed at Doomcaliber Knight. 'I cancel my attack.' Norman sighted as his knight walked back to his side of the field.

Drake drew his card. 'Time to end this, I summon Hushed Psychic Cleric.' A futuristic-looking man appeared wearing white robes decorated with gold lines, his eyes were covered by what looked like a VR headset in his hand he held a staff an orb was dangling around the staff held close by psychic energy. (0 ATK)

'When Hushed Psychic Cleric is normal summoned he is changed to defense mode, since a monster effect activates Doomcaliber Knight must destroy it by tributing itself.'

Norman cursed loudly as his monster dissolved in black smoke, Drake smiled as his monster exploded. 'Windaar!' He roared the man took a leap then fired a blast of wind out of the tip of his spear striking Norman in his chest.

(Drake: 400) - (Norman: 750- 0)

Both players used the small elevator to get down from the containers, Norman's hate-filled eyes crossed those of Drake. Drake knew that Norman kept appearance because of the camera's, knowing that this Duel was broadcast live Drake was reminded of the fact that The New Government knew all about the people participating, they'd only let Duelists play for live television if they thought the Duel would be interesting, they knew Norman had Hamon. Still they let a card this dangerous into the tournament.

The two said nothing to each other as they parted ways Norman on his way to the exit and Drake to meet the rest of his team.

Docks: Top of a warehouse.

Don looked in terror at the huge creature appearing towering above the rooftop he and Leroy stood on, the two Mystic Tomato Leroy had on his field were gazing at the terrible monstrosity. (1400 ATK x2)

The beast was now taller that Don's Cosmo Queen. (2900 ATK)

His Gene-Warped Warwolf was cracking its knuckles ready to strike. (2000 ATK)

(Leroy: 5900) - (Don: 8000)

The monstrosity behind Leroy looked familiar, a more demonic version of Obelisk the Tormentor, its skin was blue and made from a sturdy material, gray muscles showed through gaps in its limps, chest and stomach, massive horns framed its head on its back it had two large wings. (4000 ATK)

'Meet Raviel, Lord of Phantasms!' Leroy laughed: 'I use the effect of Raviel!' With its massive hands the beast grabbed the two Mystic Tomato and crushed them, their energy flowed into its mouth. (4000- 6800 ATK)

'Raviel attack Cosmo Queen! Celestial Ravaging Fist!'

With one quick motion Raviel punched a hole through the chest of Cosmo Queen the tall woman fell backwards.

'Last time I had to face down this guy he was rather unpredictable, It would not surprise me if he'd find a way to take down Raviel, I have Phantom of Chaos, took that card from that crazy old man who gave us the Sacred Beasts when he wasn't watching, destroy Raviel and I use Phantom of Chaos to make an exact copy of Raviel, that will finish you off. ' A smile formed on Leroy's face.

(Leroy: 5900) - (Don: 8000- 3200)

'I end my turn.' Leroy stated the attack points of Raviel returned back to normal.

'Now you make things interesting.' Don remarked as he drew his card.

'Backed in a corner, Leroy has enough life points to use the effect of Puppet Master provided he has another one in his hand, a slight risk I'm not willing to take.' Don looked over his hand: 'I could use my Shrink to halve Raviels attack points and crash Gene-Warped Warwolf, then if I summon Megalosmasher X I would also destroy his Puppet Master, but what if he has some way to revive Raviel or bring it back in some other way? No I'll go for safe use Shrink to defend myself.' Don took Shrink and Megalosmasher X as well as two other cards and placed them on his Duel Disk all cards appeared face-down. On the field some mist gathered and a miniature version of Raviel appeared, this one was sitting crouched with its arms crossed in front of it. (1000 DEF) 'When you summon a monster I get one Phantasm Token.' Leroy explained.

'Attack Puppet Master!' Don commanded, the Warwolf leaped onto the fiend and started to tear it apart.

(Leroy: 5900- 3900) - (Don: 3200)

'I'll finish you now.' Leroy said with a grin as he drew his card, quickly he added it to his hand then he played a different card, another Mystic Tomato appeared. (1400 ATK)

'I tribute Mystic Tomato and the Phantasm Token for Raviel's effect!' Leroy stated, the monstrosity grabbed both monsters and crushed them with ease, then its power rose dramatically. (4000- 6400 ATK)

'Attack Gene-Warped Warwolf!' Raviel pulled back its fist.

'I activate Shrink!' Don roared, Raviel suddenly shrunk to half its side, it was quite comical to see and Don suppressed the urge to laugh. (6400- 4400 ATK)

Gene-Warped Warwolf grabbed the fist with its four arms, eventually the Warwolf had to give up and Raviel punched it over the edge of the roof.

(Leroy: 3900) - (Don: 3200- 800)

'So you stalled, wanting one more turn in this tournament before I kick you out?' Leroy said with a sneer: 'Enjoy it.' He added with a grin.

'No I'm pretty sure I'm going to kick you out.' Don replied all serious, this made Leroy break out in laughter.

'I release my face-down Megalosmasher X to advance summon Cyber-Tech Alligator!' A humanoid, reptilian monster appeared in place of the face-down card it was clearly an alligator its left leg and right arm were made of mechanical parts as was about half of its chest and most of its head, it had one green, scaly wing protruding from its left shoulder and a mechanical wing that was attached to the mechanical parts of its chest. (2500 ATK)

One of the miniature Raviel Tokens appeared on the rooftop. (1000 DEF)

'Now that I have three normal monsters in my Graveyard I banish Gene-Warped Warwolf and Megalosmasher X in order to special summon Knight of the Red Lotus!' A menacing man leapt onto the rooftop, he had spiky, red hair and wore black armor and a matching cape, his face except for his eyes were hidden behind a mask, casually over his shoulder he carried a demonic sword a broadsword with multiple, smaller sharp blades on the sides instead of a regular blade. (2100 ATK)

Another Phantasm Token appeared on the field. (1000 DEF)

'And finally I activate Soul Resurrection!' One of Don's face-down cards opened up, the Cosmo Queen appeared behind Don she was sitting on one knee with her arms crossed. (2450 DEF)

And with Cosmo Queen appeared a third Token. (1000 DEF)

'So what? You've given me more fodder to power up Raviel.' Leroy shrugged. 'Leroy.' Don calmly stated: 'In order to win the Duel I need to make your life points zero, you can't use Raviel if you're out of life points.'

Leroy's eyes narrowed then it struck him, his mouth opened as a wide grin formed on Don's face. 'Looks like you realize my other face-down card is Final Attack Orders!' Cosmo Queen stood up as did the three Tokens. (Phantasm Token: 1000 ATK x3, Cosmo Queen: 2900 ATK)

'Leroy started to run he pushed Don out of the way and started to run down the stairs as he did he could hear Don's three monsters taking out his three Tokens.

(Leroy: 3900- 2000- 500- 0) - (Don: 800)

Don sat down on the roof, the images of Raviel and his monsters disappeared, with a grin he shuffled his Deck and put it back in place, then he took his tablet to see what else was going on.

As he looked down from the rooftop he could see Leroy running towards the nearest exit, a satisfying feeling went through his body.

Just when he was basking in the warmth of the rising sun he got a message from Drake to meet up with him near the cargo freighter.

Docks: Cargo container maze.

Michelle looked at the burning sky, the shadow of a massive beast was slowly moving through the flames. 'Sacred flames rage within, scorch the earth and light the sky aflame! All those who oppose your might shall be reduced to cinders!' Senna shouted, the shadow suddenly lowered itself from out of the fires. 'Heed my call and descent from the heavens!' Senna shouted. A snake-like dragon fiery red, two dragon wings grew out of its back arms, the back, shoulders and head of the mighty dragon were covered in countless horns, the scales that gave it its red color were shimmering in the light of its own flames, its yellow eyes were filled with hatred, when the beast opened its maw rows of sharp teeth were visible. 'Uria, Lord of Searing Flames!' Fire dripped out of the open maw of the beast. (? ATK)

Michelle looked behind her, the way out was blocked by the dragon, she could feel its power radiating throughout the maze, her X-Saber Souza was trembling in fear. (2500 ATK)

Michelle's eye quickly looked at her face-down card knowing that this one would save her.

The Archfiend Soldier on Senna's side was gawking at the divine monster that had appeared out of nowhere. (1900 ATK)

'Since I used my three continuous trap cards to special summon Uria the effect of Skill Drain is now gone, since Call of the Haunted was equipped to my Archfiend Soldier that monster is destroyed and since Safe Zone was equipped to your Souza that one is also destroyed!'

Pillars of flames erupted around Archfiend Soldier with a grin the demon was reduced to ashes, Souza burst into flames before he knew what was happening.

(Senna: 6400) - (Michelle: 6000)

'The attack points of Uria are equal to the amount of traps in my Graveyard times one-thousand.' Flames erupted around the dragon as its strength increased. (?- 3000 ATK)

'I activate the effect of Uria, once per turn I can target one face-down spell or trap card you control and destroy it! Trap Destruction!' The face-down Quaking Mirror Force changed face-up quickly it was reduced to ashes.

'Now Uria, direct attack! Hyper Blaze!' Michelle made herself as small as possible, she could feel the intense force of the holy flames going over her, if Senna was allowed to use magic she would have been severely burned by now, nevertheless she could feel the sheer power of the beast going through her.

(Senna: 6400) - (Michelle: 6000- 3000)

'My turn.' Michelle sounded absent her thoughts were running wild trying to figure out a way on how to deal with this threat.

'First of all since I have two X-Sabers in my Graveyard I can special summon Double X-Saber Gardestrike!' From behind the container through the flames leaped another ferocious warrior, his body was clad in heavy armor, his head covered by a helmet, he wore a red cape his weapon of choice was a gauntlet with a blade of light appearing out of the wrist the blade extended all the way to his elbow. (2100 ATK)

'Now I normal summon X-Saber Anu Piranha!'

Another warrior appeared on the container this one a female with long yellow hair, wearing red armor with a black bodysuit under it in her hand she held a whip-like sword. (1800 ATK)

'Now that I control two X-Sabers I can special summon Double X-Saber Faultroll!' An older warrior came marching onto the field wearing red armor with large shoulder pads he carried a large, heavy sword over his shoulder. (2400 ATK)

'With Faultroll's effect I can special summon Boggart Knight from my Graveyard.' Michelle continued, Faultroll plunged his sword into the ground when he pulled it up he ripped open the ground, the muscular warrior clawed his way out of the fissure. (1900 ATK)

'Now I tune level four Anu Piranha to level five Gardestrike!' A green light quickly lit up the entire container maze.

'Warrior of justice, strike true and swiftly! Synchro summon, the leader hits the field! Appear Double X-Saber Gottoms!'

With a roar a massive humanoid robot leaped over the containers, the armor was build with several strips of metal the shoulders were blade-like circles, in the right hand the mechanical menace held a massive sword with a hole through the middle of the blade, the only clothing was a red scarf loosely tied around the neck. (3100 ATK)

'Go X-Sabers!' Michelle roared Gottoms leaped off of his container with incredible speed the machine approached Uria, before anyone could react the massive sword cleaved the red dragon in half, Faultroll and Boggart Knight then landed in front of Senna both striking her at the same time.

(Senna: 6400- 6300- 3900- 2000) - (Michelle: 3000)

Senna smiled as she drew her card. 'You know I was hoping you would do this, I forced your strongest monster out to deal with mine. However my monster can grow even further.' Senna showed a Negate Attack. 'I send this to the Graveyard!' The moment she discarded the card the sky lit up again, with a terrible roar Uria broke through the ground knocking over a stack of containers as it did. (?- 4000 ATK)

'Attack Boggart Knight!' Senna commanded, Uria opened its large maw a stream of flames evaporated the X-Saber in mere seconds.

(Senna: 2000) - (Michelle: 3000- 900)

Senna looked at the Torrential Tribute in her hand. 'Got you, the moment you summon I will activate Torrential Tribute to wipe the field of all monsters you will be forced to end your turn, then I only need to draw a monster to finish you off or a trap card so I can revive Uria. Taking out your weakest monster made it so that I only need a low attack point monster to win next turn in case I don't draw a trap. Since my Deck has only level four or lower monsters and no spell cards I am guaranteed a victory.' She smiled as the Torrential Tribute appeared face-down on the field. 'I am familiar with X-Sabers, I know your Deck does not contain a monster stronger than that Gottoms of yours, my victory is guaranteed so I end my turn.'

Michelle drew her card then placed the only other card in her hand in her field slot, a half circle building rose behind Michelle, made of thick steel walls that could close to form a impenetrable full circle, the only thing in the chamber was a huge sword stuck in a metal slab the slap had a huge ''X'' etched on the front. With a yellow gem placed on the intersection of the lines.

'What is that card?' Senna stammered.

'I thought you were familiar with X-Sabers?' Michelle calmly replied: 'This is Saber Vault, a pretty rare card, I don't know where you got Uria from but if you bought it just to use here because it's powerful you wasted your money.' Michelle crossed her arms: 'The Blades have a lot of money and Jack buys us any card we need provided they improve our Decks, Jack's believe is that if we Duel with a Deck we created ourselves we are stronger Duelists, a powerful Deck you buy just because it is powerful has no soul.'

Michelle saw Senna was foaming. 'Good, now for Saber Vault increases the attack points of any X-Saber by one-hundred times their level.'

Both X-Sabers glowed briefly. (Gottoms: 3100- 4000 ATK, Faultroll: 2400- 3000 ATK)

'Finish it!' Michelle shouted, Gottoms once again leaped at Uria, this time he caught the fire of the dragon as the armor started to deform the sword cleaved the dragon in half again this time through its entire length, when Gottoms landed the machine collapsed.

Senna watched in horror then she decided she wanted out, she tried to run but Faultroll was faster ending it in one powerful blow.

(Senna: 2000- 0) - (Michelle: 900)

Senna stumbled backwards, her eyes glanced over Michelle who was clearly not amused, then she quickly stood up and ran off.

Michelle was casually making her way back out of the arena when she got Drake's message, they were meeting up near the cargo freighter, Don had also won his Duel, a smile formed on her face when she read the message.

Outside the tournament area.

'That old fool.' Norman laughed as he, Leroy and Senna left the tournament area. 'Giving us three powerful cards and then expect us to kindly return them.' Senna looked around her. 'Norman he doesn't appear to be here, neither are Tyra and Vinny.'

Norman shrugged: 'Those two fools? They goofed and messed up, they no longer deserve to be on the team.'

Leroy carefully watched the crossroad as they crossed the street then suddenly everything went silent, several cars were approaching they stopped out of nowhere, the only thing they heard were soft footsteps behind them quickly they turned around.

Before them stood a man with long, white hair which was tied into a tail, one of his eyes was glowing red while the other was green, the right arm of the man was that of a skeleton black shadows constantly swirled around it.

He was wearing black robes.

'You.' Norman hissed as he recognized the man.

'I believe you three have something that belongs to me.' Even though he sounded calm his tone was threatening.

'You mean these?' Norman replied in a taunting manner as he held up his Sacred Beast. Leroy chuckled: 'Foolish old man, you really think we give these back? There's three of us you're alone and we have three Sacred Beasts, should have thought about this before giving these away.'

The man growled something: 'You.' He then hissed he snapped his skeletal fingers in a flash the three cards Norman, Leroy and Senna held disappeared as well as the one card that Leroy had stolen from him, suddenly he held them then shadows from his right arm wrapped around his left arm forming a Duel Disk. 'You'll pay for your insolence.' He hissed.

(Senna, Leroy & Norman: 8000) - (?: 8000)

Senna was the first to draw her cards, quickly she played two cards both of them appeared face-down. 'Old man you don't know what will hit you, come attack my Giant Germ fill up my Graveyard with Fiends, and when you think you have a direct attack my Mirror Force will take out your monsters.' Senna thought to herself. 'Leroy your turn.' She then stated.

Leroy looked at his hand. 'I discard Dark General Freed in order to special summon Dark Grepher!' Out of nowhere appeared a man with sickly gray skin, short white hair and red eyes, he was wearing black, leather armor with golden decals, in his hands he held a sword. (1700 ATK)

'With Dark Grepher's effect I send Archfiend Soldier from my hand to the Graveyard and then I discard Dark Valkyria from my Deck to the Graveyard.' Leroy did as he said then he signed Norman he had ended his turn.

'Senna, Leroy bunch of amateurs with your weak monsters, I'll show you a real monster.' Quickly Norman played a card a warrior clad in sleek, black armor appeared, his helmet was shaped like an animal head, around his shoulders he wore a heavy cape. (1600- 1200 ATK)

'Norman.' Leroy objected: 'Dark Hunter is maybe even more pathetic than our monsters.'

Norman gave his ally a dirty look. 'I only needed him on the field so that I can send him together with the Dark Jeroid from my hand to the Graveyard.' A shadow leaped up from behind Norman taking shape in mid-air, it was a mighty warrior wearing black, highly detailed armor its left arm was long and skeletal the right arm was more of a normal size it had two wings the right wing was a white, angel wing the left one was more shaped like a demonic hand than anything else, it had a purplish skin and long, pinkish hair. (4000 ATK)

'By sending a Fiend from my field and one from my hand to the Graveyard I special summon Darkness Neosphere!'

Leroy and Senna had a huge grin on their face. 'Now you're in trouble old man.' Senna laughed.

'I end my turn now.' Norman stated.

Their opponent said nothing as he drew his card.

'I summon Chaos Core.' He simply stated. A black fog appeared swirling over the crossroads, then out of it burst a small dragon-like creature with huge wings it had a glowing orb held in its chest. (0 ATK)

'I end my turn.'

Senna looked at her hand. 'You dare mock us old man?' She shouted as she aggressively drew her card.

'I release Giant Germ to advance summon Darknight Parshath!' A mighty Centaur with long, yellow hair came galloping onto the crossroads, his hair was pitch-black and his skin was pale, he had black feathers covering his flanks, waist and shoulders his weapons were an ornate sword and shield. (1900- 2000 ATK)

'Darknight Parshath gains hundred attack points for each Dark monster in my Graveyard.' She explained then she played another card. 'I activate Monster Reborn in order to special summon the Dark Valkyria from Leroy's Graveyard.' A young woman with long, white hair appeared in a flash of light she wore a purple, skintight bodysuit, a black skirt, blue armor around her waist and matching chest armor with silver pauldrons and mechanical wings on the back, her head was protected by a helmet. (1800 ATK)

'Parshath attack that Chaos Core!' Senna commanded, Leroy grinned as he saw their victory growing closer.

'I use the effect of Chaos Core.' Their opponent stated: 'I send Uria, Hamon and Raviel from my Deck to the Graveyard, this gives my Chaos Core three Sacred Beast Counters, by removing one of those counters its destruction by battle is negated and I take no damage.' The images of the three Sacred Beasts appeared in the orb it held in its chest.

Parshath's attack deflected off of one of the wings of Chaos Core, the image of Raviel disappeared.

'Dark Valkyria!' Senna shouted, a blast of dark magic was deflected by the other wing of Chaos Core this time the image of Uria disappeared.

'Turn end.' Senna stated.

Leroy drew his card. 'Go Dark Grepher!' He roared, once again the wings deflected an attack and the image of Hamon also disappeared.

'Norman finish him off for me.' Leroy said.

'Snapped?' The stranger cackled as he drew his card.

'I summon Dark Beckoning Beast!' Out of the sky dropped a black dragon with a long tail with sharp blades at the tip, it wore golden armor around its legs and top of its wings. (0 ATK)

'With the effect of Dark Beckoning Beast I add Dimension Fusion Destruction to my hand.' A spell slipped from his Deck.

'Dark Beckoning Beast also allows me a second normal summon! I release Dark Beckoning Beast! Advance summon Dark Summoning Beast!'

Another dragon appeared, this one more humanoid, he wore a long, red dress-like piece of cloth around its waist, its wings were as long as its body. (0 ATK)

'I send Dark Summoning Beast to my Graveyard!' The Duelist spread his arms from his skeletal arm erupted a thick, dark fog the ground started to shake violently, then lightning struck the ground and the sky was lit on fire. Norman, Leroy and Senna drew back in fear as the three Sacred Beasts appeared. (Raviel: 4000 ATK, Hamon: 4000 ATK, Uria: 0 ATK)

Norman and his friends wanted to run but an invisible force was keeping them in place, the eyes of their opponent were glowing red.

'Now I activate Dimension Fusion Destruction.' The man calmly said, pillars of darkness erupted all over the place, one by one the three Sacred Beasts disappeared, behind the man a gigantic shadow rose, monstrous in appearance it looked like a combination of the three Sacred Beasts, with one mighty roar the shadow unleashed violent magic upon the three, the screams of Norman, Leroy and Senna could be heard over the roars of the terrible beast, shortly after the monster disappeared.

The three were laying on their belly, Senna was motionless, Leroy tried to get up, suddenly shadows poured out of Senna the shadows started to swirl around the skeletal arm of the man then Senna's body dissolved to dust.

'Norman.' Leroy whispered as shadows poured out of him as well. 'I don't want to die!' He cried before he dissolved as well.

'Dammit.' Was the only thing Norman could get out of his mouth before he also dissolved.

The Duelists suddenly got warned by an alarm, most of them turned towards the televisions spread around the area, the television showed Duban backstage.

'Duelists.' He started, the screen changed to the Duel that happened outside.

'Norman, Leroy and Senna three of our contestants who were eliminated from the tournament several minutes ago were part of a Duel not sanctified by the tournament staff.' Duban continued as the images on the screen changed to show the shadow of the gigantic demon that took out the three, the images zoomed in on the Duelist.

'This man is now considered dangerous, we don't know if he attacked Norman's team because they had the Sacred Beasts or that this man is hunting other Duelists, for the time being security personnel will escort eliminated Duelists to secured cars who will bring them safely away from the area, our security personnel is monitoring the situation both inside and outside the area, when the playing area is breached I will let you know, for now the tournament continues.'

Ushiwaka who was watching one of the screens immediately recognized the man who took out Norman's team. 'Hoji? Should have known he was around somewhere, this does explain why he isn't in the tournament.' He then looked towards the park area where he knew Jack was, at that same time he got a message that Ai and Ichi just engaged two Duelists.
