Tamamo took control over the three remaining members of the French team, she send them after Drake, Don and Michelle in the hope to take them out, meanwhile Akai and Tai were send after The New Government while Ren and Yadira were ordered to deal with Susanoo and Rao. Meanwhile Ushiwaka started to get real close to Jack but he ran into the Japanese team, two of their members took out the last two Duelists from The Star-Spangled Duelists while Ushiwaka took down Yasuo the leader of Team Rising Sun. Finally Ushiwaka met Jack in the park where they were directed towards the park arena for their long awaited showdown. Jack showed no mercy by summoning both Stardust Dragon and Stardust Spark Dragon.
20. The Trial - Part 2.
A cold breeze stroke Duban's face, he shivered as he looked up, Ghard and Kamdida hadn't noticed, they were on the border of the industrial area.
'Ghard, Kamdida.' Duban broke the silence.
'Yo.' Ghard replied.
'I need to do something backstage, official tournament business.' Without further explanation he walked away.
'Weird.' Kamdida sighted at Duban's back.
'Tamamo is on the move.' He had felt the small shift in magic from Tamamo. Duban was deep in thought as he made his way towards the nearest exit, he gave the signal to the staff that his status was now immune, seconds later the screens placed throughout the areas displayed the message.
Ghard and Kamdida were left wondering what spooked Duban.
'So what's Duban's deal?' Ghard asked to nobody in particular.
'He felt our approach and left you to deal with it.' Came the reply from an unknown female voice.
'Show yourself.' Ghard growled as he activated his massive Duel Disk, the wires connected to the holes in his head.
Kamdida's pressed a few buttons on her Duel Disk, the orbs on her harness sprung to life, this prompted wires to come out of the orbs and connect to the Duel Disk and D-Gazer.
Seemingly out of nowhere the white-haired man and the red-haired woman with horns on her head appeared. 'Akai and Tai I assume?' Kamdida asked as she immediately recognized the two.
'We challenge you to a tag-team Duel.' Akai stated without hesitation.
Kamdida was not surprised in the slightest, she could tell Ghard was excited. 'Let's do it in the industrial arena.' Ghard said to which Kamdida agreed.
Minutes later the four Duelists found themselves standing on stop of the smokestacks of an abandoned factory, there was space enough for two Duelists to stand on one smokestack, a platform hung between the two smokestacks, that's where the monsters would appear on, once the drones were in position the Duel started.
(Akai: 8000 & Tai: 8000) - (Kamdida: 8000 & Ghard: 8000)
'We'll take the first turn.' Akai stated as she proceeded to draw her opening hand, Tai gave her a quick glare, he didn't like it that Tamamo gave Akai the lead for this one. 'I summon Volcanic Slicer.' The dinosaur-like creature covered in plates of heavy armor leaped out of one of the smaller smokestacks it landed on the platform in between the smokestacks the Duelists stood on. (1800 ATK)
'I use the effect of Volcanic Slicer to deal five-hundred damage to Ghard.'
The muscular Dwemer flexed his muscles as the small creature launched a fireball at him.
(Akai: 8000 & Tai: 8000) - (Kamdida: 8000 & Ghard: 8000- 7500)
Ghard grinned as a bit of smoke came from his shoulder where the fireball had hit him, Akai quickly played a card which appeared face-down behind her monster. 'I end my turn.'
Kamdida looked at Ghard. 'You mind if I go first?'
Ghard shook his head the female Dwemer took two cards from her hand and played them, one card appeared as a face-down monster the other one appeared behind it. 'I end my turn.'
Then Tai took his turn, he also played a face-down monster he then nodded at Ghard as a sign he ended his turn.
Ghard laughed: 'I summon Wise Core.' He bellowed the white, mechanical egg appeared in mid-air. (0 ATK) 'I now activate Dark Hole!' He roared the blue, mechanical egg appeared on Kamdida's field, in front of Tai appeared a clear gem in it sat a small, robot with a square body, two tank treads as legs and two claw-like hands, all three monsters were sucked into the black hole that had opened above the field.
'First you destroyed my Clear Cube.' Tai's Duel Disk's automatic search system ejected a card. 'When a Clear Cube is removed from the field, except by being used as a tribute I can special summon a new one.'
Another one of the square robots appeared. (0 DEF)
Both Dwemer had a huge grin on their face, seconds later their two mechanical monstrosities appeared, Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity rose out of the debris around the factory they were standing on, the bird-like Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity descended from the sky at the same time. (Wisel: 2500 ATK, Skiel: 2200 ATK)
Drake suddenly stopped running he ducked away behind an building the moment he saw the two gigantic Machine Emperors appear.
'Looks like The New Government is at it, can't see who they're Dueling.' Drake muttered as he reached for his tablet.
'We could move towards the main street there are some television screens there.' Michelle suggested.
'No there's two Machine Emperors, it's Ghard and Kamdida Dueling Akai and Tai from Tamamo's team, we need to get out of here fast.' Drake whispered through his teeth.
As they prepared to make their move another group of Duelists suddenly showed up from between the buildings. 'That's the French team, what are they doing here?' Don noticed.
'Drake!' One of the French Duelists roared.
Drake stayed quiet Don and Michelle made themselves smaller.
'Look at their eyes.' Michelle whispered: 'They don't look normal, it's like they're possessed.'
Drake let out a sigh: 'I bet it's Tamamo's doing, she knows we're in league with Jack, she must be desperate to eliminate us.' He replied, then his attention was drawn to another group of Duelists entering the arena.
'Esteban!' One of them roared, a large, very muscular man.
'That's the German team.' Drake noticed: 'The eternal rivals of those French Duelists, they must have seen them leave for us and decided to follow them.' He relaxed a bit.
'So what do we do?' Don asked.
'We wait, I bet they'll start Dueling soon when they're distracted we make a run for it.'
'Now I tribute Wisel Attack for Wisel Attack 3.' Ghard stated his machine rose his left arm the white claw with one blade on the side disconnected then it changed into a more hand-like shape this one had two blade-like wings attached to the sides of the wrist. (2500- 2900 ATK)
'And now I do the same in order to special summon Wisel Attack 5!' Ghard roared a green glow enveloped the arm making it even stronger. (2900- 3300 ATK)
'With Wisel Attack 5 Wisel deals double damage and it gains a piercing effect.' A wide grin formed on Ghard's face, slowly he pointed at the Clear Cube the mechanical monstrosity took a dash forward its new claw ready to strike. 'I activate Sakuretsu Armor!' Akai shouted activating her trap card. Wisel's optical eye started to glow red.
'Forgot to mention, during the battle phase Wisel Attack 5 can stop trap cards from activating, Akai let out a hiss when her card exploded Tai crossed his arms as Wisel obliterated his only monster.
(Akai: 8000 & Tai: 8000- 1400) - (Kamdida: 8000 & Ghard: 7500)
'That's what you get for attacking us like that.' Ghard grinned he quickly played a card from his hand which materialized as a face-down spell or trap card. 'I end my turn.'
Akai drew her card she looked at Tai who didn't look worried at all.
'I activate Blaze Accelerator.' Akai stated the weird gun on a tripod appeared on the field. 'Then I tribute Blaze Accelerator for Tri-Blaze Accelerator.' Before her eyes the machine changed into the more three futuristic-looking guns on a tripod.
'And now I shall tribute Tri-Blaze Accelerator for Volcanic Doomfire!'
A gigantic pit filled with lava appeared out of nowhere and the gigantic devil slowly crawled out roaring as it did. (3000 ATK)
'Volcanic Doomfire attack Skiel!' Akai commanded.
'I activate the effect of Skiel Guard to negate your attack.' Kamdida stated her Machine Emperor created a barrier that forced Volcanic Doomfire back. 'Predictable but worth a try.' Akai said with a sigh before she took a card from her hand. 'I activate Side-Attack.' She stated a spell materialized onto the field.
'A Tag-Team only card?' Ghard gasped as he realized he had underestimated the situation, he thought their opponents were impulsive now he knew they came prepared which made the two a lot more dangerous. 'With this spell card I can choose one of our opponents, as long as that card is activated they can only attack me and I can only attack them, I choose Kamdida.'
'They're good.' Ghard commented.
'Good at annoying us.' Kamdida replied completely missing Ghard's point.
'Kamdida, Skiel can attack directly with its effect, had Akai not activated Side-Attack you could have finished off Tai. Akai deliberately allows you to damage her to protect her partner. It's obvious these two don't like to work together in a tag-team but they can do it if needed.'
Kamdida gave Ghard a glare: 'Your point?' She asked.
'We could be in trouble.' Ghard simplified things for his partner.
'Ghard don't be so pessimistic you're ruining my mood.' Kamdida growled as she drew her card.
'First I activate Fiendish Chain.' Ghard stated as his trap opened up, many chains shot out of the ground wrapping themselves around Volcanic Doomfire. 'Now you can safely attack Kamdida.'
Kamdida nodded being forced to attack Volcanic Doomfire was indeed a problem for her.
'Thanks Ghard, now I activate Sky A3!' Kamdida's trap card opened up: 'I tribute Skiel Attack for Skiel Attack 3!' The hand disconnected from the giant machine then a new machine shaped like a dragonfly appeared and connected to the machine's arm: 'And now I tribute Skiel Attack 3 in order to special summon Skiel Attack 5!' The machine rose its new hand lightning struck it making it more powerful. (2200- 2400- 2600 ATK)
'Direct attack!' Kamdida shouted Akai smiled as she received the blast of lightning.
(Akai: 8000- 5400 & Tai: 1400) - (Kamdida: 8000 & Ghard: 7500)
'I end my turn.' Kamdida stated.
Before Tai drew his card he looked at Akai he nodded to her, Akai nodded back. 'I activate Clear World!' Tai shouted a harsh cold suddenly filled the skies around them one after the other the crystals materialized in mid-air, the ground was white as far as the eye could see.
'Now I release Volcanic Doomfire! Advance summon Clear Vicious Knight!' A demonic knight standing in a clear gem appeared, he skin was made of a sturdy, black material, his head was abnormally pointy he had one blue, vertical eye instead of hands the demon had blades at the end of his arms. (2300 ATK)
'Next I equip my Clear Vicious Knight with Attribute Mastery.' A spell card materialized on the white ground. 'I declare Wind and now when my monster battles another monster with that attribute it is destroyed before damage calculation.' He explained while he took another card from his hand and played it, Mystical Space Typhoon appeared and sucked up Akai's Side-Attack.
'Clear Vicious Knight attack Skiel!' Tai shouted.
'You've learned nothing! I use the effect Skiel Guard to negate your attack!' Kamdida replied.
'I'd expected you to do so because now I activate Surprise Attack from Beyond and end my turn.'
Drake who was still keeping his eyes on the Duel being played in the arena saw nothing but a white orb surrounding the playing field.
Clear Vicious Knight came out of his gem. 'Clear Vicious Knight attacks Skiel again!' Tai roared Kamdida's mouth opened but the turn had not fully ended yet and thus she couldn't activate Skiel Guard again, Tai's demon warrior broke through Skiel's chest using his mighty blades.
At the moment both monsters connected the television feed cut off completely, some teams tried to search the match on their tablets but the Duel was cut off as well.
Smoking pieces of Skiel fell into the cold, white sand.
'And thus my turn ends.' Tai coldly stated.
Ghard's hand was shaking as he drew his card.
'Wisel attack Clear Vicious Knight!' He commanded but Wisel didn't move.
'Wisel a Dark monster, with Clear World on the field Dark monsters cannot declare an attack.' He then looked at Akai: 'End it.'
Akai drew her card: 'Gladly.' She took a card from her hand.
'I activate Monster Reborn!' The holy Ankh appeared above the field and seconds later the demonic Volcanic Doomfire appeared. (3000 ATK)
'Volcanic Doomfire attack Wisel Guard!' Akai stated the giant machine held up its arm as Akai's demon unleashed its deadly fire cleanly burning the arm of the machine off.
'When Volcanic Doomfire destroys a monster I destroy as many monsters as possible and deal five-hundred damage for each destroyed, all pieces of Wisel except the Carrier erupted in flames, when only the Wisel Carrier was left it also exploded.
(Akai: 5400 & Tai: 1400) - (Kamdida: 8000 & Ghard: 7500- 6000)
'Tamamo sends her regards.' Tai then spoke.
'We were told to show your New Government is out of our league but to not eliminate you, I think we have proven our point.' Akai added.
'If Duban knows what's good for him he won't intervene with the adults, let him have his playtime with the tournament we won't stop that.' Tai spoke again then both placed their hands on their Duel Disks and pressed it.
(Akai: X & Tai: X) - (Kamdida: 8000 & Ghard: 6000)
Ghard watched in silence as Tai and Akai left the arena.
'So that's the power of Tamamo.' The voice of Duban sounded behind them this startled Kamdida.
'We failed completely.' Ghard finally spoke, Duban showed his head.
'No magic in this area spiked that's why I hurried back over here, my intention was to disqualify those two but they surrendered already.'
Kamdida's expression turned to anger: 'They cheated?' She shouted.
'At least Tai did.' Duban replied: 'He used magic to alter their Decks, I do not believe Akai knew that, I sensed no magic coming from her at all, but considering their power Tamamo and her Duelists are far out of our league but that's only because of their magic, I had our research and development team make something to neutralize their magic, once we deal with The Blades I have those devices delivered then we can easily deal with Tamamo.'
Moments earlier.
Drake was keeping close watch on the several Duels that had broken out between the French and German teams, Hermann the leader of The Brotherhood Fist was taking on two female Duelists at the same time: Aida and Jeana.
Hermann controlled two monsters both looked similar a demonic man wearing robes and black chest armor, they had black crow-like wings the robes of the first one were blue this was a Asmo Token. (1300 DEF) The second one's robes were red, this was a Deus Token. (1200 DEF)
The field was covered with his Swords of Revealing Light.
Hermann had four cards left in his hand which he was staring intensely at.
Jenna who had just ended her turn controlled a flaming, red dragon which towered over all three Duelists, this was the Xyz monster: Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis. (3000 ATK: 1 ORU)
She had used the effect of her dragon to destroy Hermann's Darklord Asmodeus which let to him summoning both Tokens.
Aida had one monster on the field, a mighty centaur clad in white, blue and golden armor, he had two large wings on the side of the animal half and two smaller wings on the back of his human half, he carried a large sword in his right hand, this was the Synchro monster: Avenging Knight Parshath. (2600 ATK)
(Aida: 3300 & Jeana: 1800) - (Hermann: 4300)
'My turn.' Hermann growled as he drew his card.
'I release both Tokens!' He stated two pillars of darkness erupted around them the pillars came together in the center of the field, the clanking of armor sounded as a man stepped out of the darkness, his face could be described as handsome with a pale, almost pure white skin, he had long white hair above his head hung a red, spiked halo, he wore pitch-black armor, in his right hand he held a wicked sword that was pulsing with dark energy, on his wings he had many crow-like wings. 'Darklord Morningstar! Hermann introduced his monster. (3000 ATK)
'With Morningstar normal summoned I can special summon Darklord monsters from my hand or Deck equal to the amount of effect monsters you control.'
Two more monsters appeared out of a pillar of darkness created by Morningstar, the first one weirdly looked like a black chalice with a face in the center, two arms spouting out of the back and brown, feathered wings spouting out of the back, this was Darklord Superbia. (2900 ATK)
The second Darklord that appeared was a lot smaller and humanoid, he wore a tunic with thick chains worn crossed over his chest as armor, he had small, black wings, this was Ukoback. (700 ATK)
'Now I activate Double Summon!' Hermann roared his spell card appeared on the field. 'I release Darklord Ukoback, advance summon Darklord Desire!' A storm of red feathers erupted out of the center of the field out of the feathers appeared a mighty warrior clad in black armor with golden decals, red-feathered wings spouted from his back he had mighty shields attached to his wrists with two spikes on the front edge and one on the back making them effective weapons as well. (3000 ATK)
'I use the effect of Darklord Desire by reducing his attack points by one-thousand I can send Heliopolis to the Graveyard.' Hermann explained the mighty warrior spread his wings, red feathers burst out of the ground around the mighty dragon, when the feathers dispersed the monster was gone, Darklord Desire sank to his knees as he got weaker. (3000- 2000 ATK)
'Superbia attack Parshath!' Hermann commanded, the chalice started to spin violently until it went out of control and rammed itself into the mighty centaur.
(Aida: 3300- 3000 & Jeana: 1800) - (Hermann: 4300)
'Desire attack Jeana! Morningstar attack Aida!' Hermann commanded, first Desire took a leap he struck the French woman down with the spikes of his shields, Morningstar on his turn closed his eyes, all his wings spread, when he opened his eyes again his red halo flared up casting the area in total darkness, the whooshing sound of his sword cleaving through the air was heard followed by the scream of Aida.
(Aida: 3000- 0 & Jeana: 1800- 0) - (Hermann: 4300)
As Aida and Jeana shook their heads, now that Tamamo's spell had worn off they were clearly confused of where they were, silently they left the arena still shocked they had challenged a Duelist way out of their league, when Hermann turned around Drake saw an opening to move closer towards the main road that lead away from the factories.
He signaled his team to carefully follow him, the three quickly moved to cover behind some stacked containers that stood at the side of the next factory, another Duel was going on impeding their progress.
This time it was Esteban the leader of the French team, a striking figure with a square face, his long hair was waving in the wind, he almost looked like some super hero.
Ernst looked at the sky at the Judgment, the Dragon of Heaven that was circling around the area, a mighty dragon covered in white feathers, it had four wings and striking, red claws. (3000 ATK)
His field was currently empty, Esteban's dragon had taken care of his only defense while the Heavy Storm had taken care of any trap he had in place, lucky for Ernst it was the start of his turn.
(Esteban: 4100) - (Ernst: 2200)
'I banish Breaker the Magical Warrior and Thunder King Rai-Oh!' Ernst roared quickly he retrieved the cards and pocketed them. 'I summon the might Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning!' A mighty knight marched into view, he was clad in heavy, blue armor there were several horns and sharp edges mostly around his shoulders, the upper half of his face was hidden by the visor of his helmet, in his hands he carried a heavy, triangle-shaped shield and a large curved sword with a huge chip missing in the center. (3000 ATK)
'Next I equip him with Mist Body!' Ernst continued, a thin layer of mist appeared around his monster. 'Attack!' The German Duelist roared, his knight was surprisingly fast despite his armor he took a mighty leap into the air then with one strike he beheaded the pure-white dragon, gracefully the knight landed in front of Esteban. 'When Black Luster Soldier destroys a monster he can attack again.' Esteban braced himself as the sword of the knight cut across his chest.
(Esteban: 4100- 1100) - (Ernst: 2200)
'You've underestimated me Esteban.' Ernst boasted: 'After Hermann I'm the strongest Duelist in Germany, I can stand toe-to-toe with Hermann I can even beat him if I try, once Hermann retires I'll be the strongest Duelist in Europe.'
Esteban said nothing as he looked at his opponent with his empty gaze.
'Fine I'll end my turn.' Ernst scoffed.
Esteban silently drew his card.
'I have more than four different Lightsworn in my Graveyard, so I special summon Judgment Dragon.'
A younger version of his previous dragon dropped out of the sky, this one was less viscous, it had only two large wings and far smaller claws. (3000 ATK)
'Judgment Dragon's effect allows me to pay thousand life points to clear all other cards on the field.' Esteban coldly said, the dragon spread his wings divine lightning struck down the Black Luster Soldier.
'Direct attack.' Esteban stated as another bolt of lightning struck down Ernst.
(Esteban: 1100- 100) - (Ernst: 2200- 0)
Between all the lightning strike Drake and his team had moved further away from both groups, the French leader had already set his sights on two other members of The Brotherhood Fist, he seemed to have completely forgotten about Drake.
From a distance Tamamo was watching. 'So it seems my mind control was partially interrupted by their rivalry with those German Duelists, of course I had expected The Brotherhood Fist to show up but I had not expected them to nullify my magic.' She muttered then she took out her tablet.
'So a rivalry affects my magic, then I have found the perfect team for my next try.' She added with a devious smile on her face.
Park arena.
Ushiwaka was staring at Jack's field, they stood inside the fenced off park Dueling field, on each side on the fence sat one of Jack's dragons on one side Stardust Dragon and on the other side Stardust Spark Dragon. (2500 ATK x2)
Ushiwaka's gaze fell on Jack's other monsters: First there was Unknown Synchron, (0 DEF) then there was Road Synchron (800 DEF) and Nitro Synchron. (100 DEF)
Jack had made one hell of a turn using his Junk Speeder to flood the field with Tuners, using a Tuner and Junk Speeder he had summoned Stardust Spark Dragon then with the spell card Necroid Synchro he summoned the real Stardust Dragon.
Ushiwaka only controlled a Marauding Captain (1200 ATK) and his Armed Samurai - Ben Kei equipped with Axe of Despair. (500- 1500 ATK)
(Jack: 5000) - (Ushiwaka: 8000)
'Stardust Spark Dragon attack Marauding Captain!' Jack shouted his first dragon took of, a beam of white light descended on the gruff warrior blasting him to pieces.
'Stardust Dragon attack Ben Kei! Shooting Sonic!' Jack relentlessly continued his second dragon took off it fired a more powerful blast completely evaporating the samurai.
(Jack: 5000) - (Ushiwaka: 8000- 6700- 5700)
'Let's see what else you've got besides your Ben Kei Ushiwaka, I end my turn.' Jack stated.
Ushiwaka was shaking with excitement he had expected nothing less from Jack, but for Jack to go all-out right at the beginning was terrifying as well.
'Ben Kei is just another part of my Deck I can utilize, but he's not the main card in my Deck, my equip cards are.' He added his new card to his hand.
'I banish my Axe of Despair from the graveyard.' Ushiwaka stated he quickly took the card and placed it in his pocket. 'I special summon Immortal Phoenix Gearfried!' He roared as a fire erupted on the field, the fiery warrior stepped out looking all serious. (3000 ATK)
'Next I equip Immortal Phoenix Gearfried with Fairy Meteor Crush to give him a piercing effect.' He said then he looked at the two dragons again.
'Immortal Phoenix Gearfried attacks Stardust Spark Dragon and his effect activated!' Fire erupted around Stardust Dragon. 'When Immortal Phoenix Gearfried battles I can equip one monster on the field him, that monster increases the attack power by five-hundred.' The flames that had erupted around Stardust Dragon now started to swirl around his sword. (3000- 3500 ATK)
'I use the effect of Stardust Spark Dragon on itself, this turn it cannot be destroyed!' Jack replied.
'Predictable Jack! I send Stardust Dragon to the Graveyard which means that Immortal Phoenix Gearfried's effect negates the effect of Stardust Spark Dragon and destroys it!' A dragon made of fire came out of the tip of the sword quickly it changed into a vortex of fire, Immortal Phoenix Gearfried got weaker a bit. (3500- 3000 ATK)
When the flames died out both of Jack's dragons were gone, to Ushiwaka's surprise Jack had a broad grin on his face.
'A replay happens and so Immortal Phoenix Gearfried attack Nitro Synchron!' The flaming sword struck the nitro tank which exploded in response a sea of flames washed over Jack.
(Jack: 5000- 2100) - (Ushiwaka: 5700)
'I end my turn Jack.' Ushiwaka stated.
Jack drew his card. 'I'm already impressed Ushiwaka, most people lose their cool when face-to-face with Stardust Dragon, you faced down two of my dragons and managed to destroy them even. I need to step up my game.' Jack couldn't have given Ushiwaka a better compliment, but he also knew that now Jack would be serious and Ushiwaka knew that Jack had far stronger monsters than Stardust Dragon lurking in his Deck.
'I activate Premature Burial!' Jack shouted as his spell card appeared on the field, the ground broke open and Stardust Dragon broke out. (2500 ATK)
(Jack: 2100- 1300) - (Ushiwaka: 5700)
'Paying so many life points? Now?' Ushiwaka gasped.
'Ushiwaka.' Jack calmly said he relaxed a bit: 'I have several ways to revive monsters Ushiwaka, I keep this card in my Side Deck if I know I might need an extra card besides Monster Reborn and Call of the Haunted. Of course I rather had Monster Reborn since it's free but I wasn't lucky enough to draw it. Then again we're playing on a high level right now, monsters we summon can easily reach three-thousand life points or higher, with only twenty-one-hundred life points left I am well into range for you to reduce my life points to nothing. So yes I am willing to pay life points since they don't matter any more.' Jack got his serious face back: 'Like I said Ushiwaka, I won't hold back, I won't allow you to get another direct attack in.'
'I special summon Boost Warrior!' The red-haired warrior in blue robe-like armor appeared he crouched down. (200 DEF)
'Now I tune Boost Warrior and Unknown Synchron!' The green light illuminated the arena once more. 'Gathering stars light the way to my destiny, the race for true power has begun! 'Now I tune Stardust Dragon and Formula Synchron!' Again the area turned green. 'Gathering stars light the way to my destiny, the hopes of the people bound in the form of a mighty warrior! Synchro summon and rise to the call! Satellite Warrior!' One of Jack's more recent monsters descended onto the field, the might warrior clad in golden and silver armor. (2500 ATK)
'I use the effect of Satellite Warrior I can destroy cards you control up to the amount of Synchro Monsters in my Graveyard then increase the attack power of my monster by one-thousand for each card destroyed, I target Immortal Gearfried Phoenix and Fairy Meteor Crush!' Jack shouted the mighty warrior started to charge his shoulder lasers.
'I see.' Ushiwaka replied: 'You know what Immortal Phoenix Gearfried can do, so you want me to destroy your Satellite Warrior, problem is if I don't destroy it I outright lose this turn.' Ushiwaka removed the Mist Body from his Duel Disk, a flaming bird shot out of the sword Immortal Phoenix Gearfried held it erupted around Satellite Warrior.
'With Satellite Warrior destroyed I can special summon up to three Synchron, Warrior and Stardust Synchro monsters from my Graveyard.'
Ushiwaka gasped as three beams of light struck down from the heavens, first Formula Synchron appeared (200 ATK) followed by both Stardust Dragon and Stardust Spark Dragon. (2500 ATK x2)
'Now I activate Falling Current!' Jack roared as he played his spell card: 'I can declare a level between one and three, I make Stardust Dragon level two!' eight stars appeared above the monster then six disappeared, Jack closed his eyes: 'Tuning.' Was all he said.
Formula Synchron exploded in two golden rings, when Jack opened his eyes they were glowing with a golden light once both his dragons flew through both rings a golden light exploded out of them bathing the arena in holy light.
'Sacred stars become the path for an ancient evolution! Become the divine power to purify this world! Delta Accel Synchro descent! Stardust Sifr Divine Dragon!'
A figure stood before Jack as the light died down it stood on two legs the dragon was more humanoid in appearance, with a muscular body, a long neck and a small, horned head. The dragon had eight smaller wings spouting from its back forming a circle, the dragon-warrior had a long tail, when the light was completely gone the beast threw back its head and let out a terrifying roar. Ushiwaka gasped in awe as he looked upon the form of Jack's strongest monster yet.
'Ushiwaka you're only the second person to see it, but I doubt the first person who saw it can remember.'
Ushiwaka swallowed, his mouth felt dry he wiped off some sweat from his forehead. 'I used this to vanquish Errol once before when he possessed Rini, had to use it to kill an Earthbound God.'
The situation finally sank it with Ushiwaka, Jack said he would go all-out and he did, Jack deemed it worthy to use such a powerful monster against a simple Duelist. Ushiwaka knew Jack wasn't simply going all-out for the sake of it, he aimed to win this Duel and to ensure his victory he'd put up a display of sheer power.
Then a grin formed on Ushiwaka's face. 'Well Jack if you deem it necessary to bring out your strongest monster then I have to meet your expectation!' He roared.
