After Jack's victory over The New Government's leader: Sabrina her subordinates Duban, Ghard and Kamdida take over announcing a new tournament. With a huge cash prize on the line a lot of Duelists want to enter. However in the shadows an ancient, supernatural evil lurks waiting to spring their trap.

27. The Dawnguard Moves - Part 4

After Tamamo took control over the minds of The Dawnguard Larry set his sights on Jack. After the Dawnguard attacked two other teams got involved as well the teams from Australia and The Netherlands. After losing some of their members against each other and Larry losing three of his men. Hunter and Milan the Australian and Dutch Duelists decided that they wanted the spotlights on them instead of The Blades so they started a competition to take out as many Blades as possible. This ultimately backfired with only both team leaders left.

After this small interruption Larry decides he is tired of waiting.

27. The Dawnguard Moves - Part 4.

Violet and Kailyn waited until Serana was back at Drake's side and Amber and Willow had left the area, they saw doubtful looks Hunter and Milan gave each other.

'Seems like you and Serana broke their resolve.' Kailyn broke the silence.

'I can understand that.' Violet replied: 'Both had five members when they got here, after a bit of a struggle between their teams they decided to challenge us for some easy victories and now only both leaders are left.'

Violet started to walk forward towards the team leaders of the Australian and Dutch teams.

'You know Vi.' Kailyn started: 'I don't think they will try anything against us any more, we destroyed their beloved team members.'

Violet didn't stop: 'Kailyn, they started this, we need to end this especially with Larry still around.'

The Wood Elf nodded. 'I guess you're right, but at this point it feels like bullying.'

Violet smiled: 'Remember Kailyn, they started bullying us and they bullied the wrong people.'

Meanwhile Serana has joined up with Rini and Drake again.

'You did good Serana, now rest.' Drake said Serana was grateful she got to take it slow for now, that Duel against Daniel and Sophie had taken its toll from her especially since she was constantly worried about Rini.

'Guys.' Jack calmly spoke they all knew why Jack warned them, they Larry giving Mike some orders, the latter then looked at The Blades as a grin formed on his face before he came running in with a war-cry.

'Oh no you won't Mike.' Serana hissed as she stepped forward suddenly Rini took position before Serana her Duel Disk and D-Gazer active.

'Mike! My name is Rini and I challenge you to a Duel!' She shouted shocking anyone watching but mostly Serana.

'Rini?' Serana carefully asked.

'No Serana, you've had two intense Duels back-to-back, you trusted me with Daniel and Sophie, you wanted my help and thanks to you I could take them down. This is only one guy let me try this, if I lose I at least bought you some time.'

Serana saw the determination in Rini's eyes without saying anything she backed off.

In the meantime Violet has approached Hunter the two went to one end of the main street while Kailyn and Milan went to the other side, to give them more space Mike and Rini went to the entrance of the forest. 'Duel!' It sounded from six different mouths.

(Mike: 8000) - (Rini: 8000), (Violet: 8000) - (Hunter: 8000) &

(Kailyn: 8000) - (Milan: 8000)

All Duelists drew their opening hands, the drones were swarming around Violet, Hunter, Kailyn and Milan they left Rini and Mike alone.

'Well you can say a lot about Duban but he at least tries to keep Rini out of the spotlights as much as possible.' Jack muttered to himself.

'I shall start this Duel.' Mike said as he took two cards he played them both. One of the cards appeared face-down in front of the face-down card appeared a red, muscular creature it had pulsating veins all over its body, the creature had no legs but a tiny tail instead, its yellow eyes gazed at Rini. (0 ATK) 'Meet my Cloudian - Poison Cloud.' Mike proudly said: 'You took the wrong opponent to fight miss. I stand among the toughest Duelists of The Dawnguard, I am the emperor of the skies! Me and my Cloudians reign supreme!'

Rini drew her card: 'You are full of yourself aren't you?' She said with a smile: 'You must know I am known as the Queen of the Harpies, me and my Ladies rule the sky!' She played a card and the pink-haired Harpie Lady 1 appeared she was soaring through the sky. (1300- 1600 ATK)

'Attack!' Rini shouted, the Harpie Lady flew through the Poison Cloud claws first. 'I activate Bye Bye Damage!' Mike shouted his trap card activated and his monster reformed.

'With Bye Bye Damage my monster is not destroyed and any battle damage I take is dealt double as effect damage to you!'

Rini let out a shriek as lightning shot from the trap card and struck her.

Rini quickly recovered and played a card which materialized as a face-down card.

(Mike: 8000- 6400) - (Rini: 8000- 4800), (Violet: 8000) - (Hunter: 8000) & (Kailyn: 8000) - (Milan: 8000)

Violet looked at Hunter then she looked at her hand. 'I summon Rose Lover.' She stated a young woman appeared before her she had long blond hair and wore a fancy red and pink dress decorated with tiny roses. (800 ATK) 'I end my turn.' Violet stated.

Hunter drew his card: 'Time to show you what I can do mate.' He grinned.

'I summon Des Kangaroo!' A muscular, green-furred kangaroo appeared it wore a open, purple vest and red shoes and boxing gloves. (1500 ATK)

'Attack Rose Lover!' He commanded with incredible speed the kangaroo dashed in giving a flurry of punches that brought the woman down easily.

Without saying anything he played a card which appeared face-down behind his Des Kangaroo. 'I end my turn.' He stated.

(Mike: 6400) - (Rini: 4800), (Violet: 8000- 7300) - (Hunter: 8000) & (Kailyn: 8000) - (Milan: 8000)

Kailyn and Milan both didn't move they simple stared at each other both trying to get a grasp on the other, For Milan Kailyn looked like a human.

'I must say I respect the way your team leader does things, the trust between you all is so strong that you can decide for yourselves who does what.' Milan said the tone of his voice was calm.

'Jack is relaxed in that regard. We formed this team based on trust Jack only goes boss-mode when it is necessary and only as a last resort.' Kailyn replied. 'I can learn from Jack.' Milan muttered: 'During a League season the Duelists are part of a team, during the Minor League I was a team leader, but now I see I was too tight, of course we all want to win but now I see that with being too tight I make my team nervous. Once the new season starts I'll be team leader again, they see great potential and with my new team I'll try to be more like Jack.'

Kailyn who had felt tension in her stomach before felt it disappear a bit.

'Milan, I felt your tension, made me nervous now I feel more relaxed, being too tight even affects your opponents, but I am not here to give tips for being a team leader.' She drew her opening hand Milan agreed before he drew his first five cards.

'I summon Fairy Archer!' Before Kailyn appeared the young fairy wearing her purple outfit she had her golden bow trained on Milan. (1400 ATK)

'I activate the effect of Fairy Archer, she deals four-hundred damage for each Light monster I control.' The fairy quickly released an arrow which struck Milan in his shoulder. 'I end my turn.' She stated.

(Mike: 6400) - (Rini: 4800), (Violet: 7300) - (Hunter: 8000) &

(Kailyn: 8000) - (Milan: 8000- 7600)

'Kailyn was it?' Milan asked Kailyn confirmed by nodding.

'I am not holding back just because you are not the team leader of The Blades, for me each Duelist who I get to face is equal.'

Kailyn smiled: 'I don't want it any other way.' She replied.

'Well then prepare to be swarmed!' Milan roared, water appeared in a giant sinkhole that appeared in the middle of the main street.

'I summon Lantern Shark!' In the sinkhole appeared a large, black shark its belly and head were covered in plates of metal armor. (1500 ATK)

'Through the effect of Lantern Shark I special summon Saber Shark!' Next to the first shark appeared a purple one, this one was larger in size, had claw-like fins and a giant blade sticking out of it's head, the teeth of this beast were made out of metal. (1600 ATK)

'Since a Fish monster was normal summoned I special summon Shark Stickers!' He quickly played three card, three large sharks appeared they had no fin on their back instead it had a metal plate on its head with several red, circular patches on it. (200 ATK x3)

Milan smiled as he rose his arm, the three Shark Stickers changed into blue orb, Kailyn had seen this coming the monster Milan had constantly used in his Duel, his ace monster the monstrous Shark Caesar, with its large maw filled with long, purple teeth and tiny, dragon-like creature where its fin would normally be. (1800 ATK: 3 ORU)

'I Detach one monster from Caesar so it has thousand extra attack points whenever it battles.' Milan explained one of the blue orbs disappeared into the beast's maw. (3-2 ORU)

'Then I use the effect of Saber Shark I increase the level of it and Lantern Shark by one!' Milan shouted, shortly after two more blue orbs circled into the air. A monstrous machine appeared in the sinkhole it was shaped like a submarine with the wings of an airplane the body was round with a giant hatch that could open. (2800 ATK: 2 ORU)

'I Detach one monster from Shark Fortress!' Milan continued, the hatch opened and one of the orbs disappeared into it. (2- 1 ORU)

'Caesar can attack twice now this turn!' Milan roared, the hatch on Shark Fortress opened up again this time a torpedo came out it homed in on Fairy Archer completely annihilating her, then Shark Caesar leaped out of the water it bit Kailyn in the arm twice. (1800- 2800 ATK)

'I set this card and end my turn.' Milan stated as the card materialized face-down behind his Shark Caesar.

(Mike: 6400) - (Rini: 4800), (Violet: 7300) - (Hunter: 8000) &

(Kailyn: 8000- 7000- 4200- 1400) - (Milan: 7600)

'So Harpies.' Mike said he had a malicious smile on his face, the veins on his Cloudian - Poison Cloud were pulsating.

'I always hated Harpies, they think they own the sky, but I shall prove today they mean nothing, whenever Poison Cloud is destroyed by battle it destroys the monster it battled and deals eight-hundred damage to the owner of said monster.' The red creature inhaled ready to blow its devastating poising at the Harpie.

'I activate Icarus Attack!' Rini shouted: 'I tribute Harpie Lady 1 in order to destroy your Poison Cloud and my Icarus Attack!'

The Harpie Lady waved before she leaped up into the sky and disappeared. First Rini's already expired trap card exploded followed by the Poison Cloud disappearing in a puff of red mist.

'I like it when they struggle, working for my victory so it doesn't feel like a total waste of my time.' Mike said with a grin as he played a card, it appeared face-down as a spell or trap card. 'I end my turn.'

Rini drew her card. 'You just sound like an arrogant bully, I detest that.' She softly said with a hint of anger in her voice. 'I summon Harpie Queen!' She shouted, from out of the sky dropped the regal bird-lady, her long, green hair was waving in the wind. (1900 ATK)

'I activate Threatening Roar!' Mike shouted his face-down card sprung open, the roar of a terrifying beast echoed through the forest.

'Fine, in that case I activate Elegant Egotist.' Rini continued, the figures of the three Harpie Lady Sisters appeared behind Harpie Queen before each leaped in a different direction only to come together again in mid-air. (1950 ATK) 'Turn end.' She said.

Violet drew her card, quickly she retrieved a card from her discard slot. 'I banish Rose Lovers.' She stated, the tiles behind her broke and were flung away as out of the soil grew the gigantic Gigaplant. (2400 ATK)

'By banishing Rose Lovers I can special summon a Plant monster from my hand, I now Gemini summon Gigaplant.' The monstrosity briefly glowed.

'Attack Des Kangaroo!' Violet commanded, the giant maw of the Gigaplant opened up, it slowly bent forward in order to devour the in comparison tiny kangaroo.

'I activate Mirror Force!' Hunter roared as his trap card opened up.

'Not this time, a monster summoned with Rose Lovers is unaffected by trap cards this turn.'

A reflective barrier appeared behind Gigaplant and Des Kangaroo, without any problems the giant plant broke through it and seconds later the kangaroo was gone.

(Mike: 6400) - (Rini: 4800), (Violet: 7300) - (Hunter: 8000- 7100) &

(Kailyn: 1400) - (Milan: 7600)

After Gigaplant was back on its place behind Violet she took two cards from her hand, one appeared face-down behind her Gigaplant, the other one appeared as Foolish burial. 'I send Revival Rose from my Deck to the Graveyard.' She stated as she quickly retrieved the monster card and discarded it. 'I end my turn.'

Hunter drew his card as he observed the field. 'You're setting up, I can see that, that means I need to put up the pressure before you can benefit from your set-up.'

The Australian Duelist took two cards from his hand. 'You ready mate?' He asked as he played the first of the two cards Monster Reborn appeared and underneath the holy symbol appeared Des Kangaroo. (1500 ATK)

Then he played his second card which was Polymerization, the vortex opened behind him. 'I fuse Des Kangaroo with Big Koala in my hand in order to summon Master of Oz.' Hunter stated casually.

Next to Des Kangaroo appeared a koala with blue fur, it was as big as a tree, both monsters disappeared into the vortex seconds later with a war-cry a new beast leaped out it had the body of Big Koala with the fur color, pouch, tail and boxing gloves and shoes from Des Kangaroo it carried a champion's belt over its shoulder. (4200 ATK)

'Now I summon Sea Koala!' Hunter shouted a tiny creature appeared next to the boxing champion it was a cross between a sea otter and a koala. (100 ATK)

'I use the effect of Sea Koala on your Gigaplant, until the end of this turn its attack becomes nothing!' Before Violet's eyes her plant withered away. (2400- 0 ATK)

'Master of Oz!' Hunter roared with a howl the beast leaped forward with incredible speed, with one punch it crushed what was left of Gigaplant the massive fist hit Violet right in her gut afterward.

'I special summon revival Rose.' Violet gasped while she tried to catch her breath out of the ground grew the stalk with the three rose buds the buds were closed so you could not see their blue eye in the middle of the bud. (1300 DEF) 'I end my turn.' Hunter stated.

(Mike: 6400) - (Rini: 4800), (Violet: 7300- 3100) - (Hunter: 7100) &

(Kailyn: 1400) - (Milan: 7600)

Kailyn looked at the ferocious sharks that were swimming around in the sinkhole, her mind was calm, she took three of the four cards from her hand. 'I summon Gellenduo.' Two small creatures appeared they had large heads, one of the two was green the other one was pinkish both had a halo around their middle which they used to float around. (1700 ATK)

Kailyn then played her other two cards which both appeared face-down.

'I end my turn.' She stated.

Milan drew his card. 'I detach a monster from Shard Caesar giving him an extra Counter and thus another thousand extra attack points when he attacks.' The second of the orbs circulating around the monster disappeared into the maw. (Caesar: 2- 1 ORU)

'Next I detach a monster from my Shark Fortress so that Caesar can attack twice.' Milan explained the hatch on the fortress opened once more and the second orb disappeared into it. (Fortress: 1- 0 ORU)

'I'll attack Gellenduo with Shark Caesar, when you take damage Gellenduo is destroyed by its own effect.' The beast leaped out of the water the two fairies stared the giant shark in its eyes.

'I activate Spirit Barrier!' Kailyn's first face-down card opened up. 'Now as long as I control a monster I take no damage and as you know Gellenduo cannot be destroyed by...'

Milan laughed interrupting Kailyn: 'I activate Mystical Space Typhoon!' He shouted before Kailyn could react her Spirit Barrier got swept away.

'I've faced many Fairy Decks, majority of them runs Spirit Barrier and Gellenduo, now I activate Ice Barrier!' Milan roared as his own trap card opened up. 'This card reduces the attack points of your monster to zero and it negates its effects.' Kailyn's Fairies fell to the ground as their halos shattered. (1700- 0 ATK)

Shark Caesar opened its maw ready to devour the two Fairies. (1800- 3800 ATK)

'I send Honest from my hand to the Graveyard!' The mighty, warrior of light appeared, he wore a blue armor-like tunic two pure-white angel wings spouted from his back he shielded the two Fairies with them, Gellenduo regained their power. (0- 3800 ATK)

'So you want to crash your Gellenduo with my Shard Caesar, don't forget your Gellenduo lost its effect so it will be destroyed as well, you have only fourteen-hundred life points left and I still have Shark Fortress.'

Kailyn smiled as she closed her eyes: 'I activate Breakthrough Skill!' She roared as her second trap card opened up. 'This negates the effects of your Shard Caesar!' She shouted, Milan's eyes widened as his monster got weaker. (3800- 1800 ATK)

Gellenduo got excited they started to circle around each other they started to glow brightly then a holy light shot from the sky between them annihilating Shark Caesar.

'Honest's attack gain stays until the end phase, so my Shard Fortress is too weak!'

Kailyn saw the panic in Milan's eyes, she now knew what kind of Duelist he was. 'Overwhelming your opponents with two strong monsters, ending the Duel before the opponent can gain their momentum. I've slowed you down Milan, destroyed one of your aces, can you recover from this?'

Milan in the meantime regained his posture. 'I end my turn.' He stated, Gellenduo regained its normal attack points. (3800- 1700 ATK)

(Mike: 6400) - (Rini: 4800), (Violet: 3100) - (Hunter: 7100) &

(Kailyn: 1400) - (Milan: 7600- 5600)

'Mike's eyes tried to follow the Harpie Lady Sisters and Harpie Queen who were circling around them, annoyed her drew his card. 'I set this and end my turn.' He stated as a face-down monster appeared in front of him.

Rini drew her card. 'Harpie Queen!' She shouted the regal bird-lady readied her claws the face-down monster card disappeared as a small, white cloud with closed, black eyes appeared (0 DEF) Harpie Queen slashed at the small creature it split in two when it got hit. (0 DEF x2)

'That was my Cloudian - Sheep Cloud and when destroyed by battle I special summon two Cloudian Tokens.' Mike explained.

'In that case I change Harpie Lady Sisters to defense mode, set two cards and end my turn.' First the three sisters landed they sat together with their arms crossed ready to intercept any attack, (2100 DEF) after that two face-down cards appeared vertically on the field.

Violet drew her card, she looked at the massive powerful Master of Oz.

'I activate Call of the Haunted!' She shouted, the ground broke open and Gigaplant crawled out of the hole. (2400 ATK)

'I Gemini summon Gigaplant.' She continued, the massive creature glowed for a few seconds. 'I use the effect of Gigaplant to special summon Cherry Inmato from my hand. A tiny tomato with a mouth, eyes and nose appeared, it had a tiny body that was dressed in a prison uniform. (700 ATK)

Violet rose her hand the green Synchro light illuminated the main street.

'The beauty of flowers showing a darker side, the flower of destruction set into bloom! Synchro summon! Come forth, Splendid Rose!' She chanted, in a storm of petals appeared a yellow-haired woman wearing a skin-tight bodysuit appeared her nasty vine-like whips flowed gently in the breeze. (2200 ATK)

'I banish Cherry Inmato for the effect of Splendid Rose!' The vines lashed out wrapping themselves around Master of Oz, the mighty beast was forced to its knees. (4200- 2100 ATK)

'Attack Master of Oz!' Violet shouted, Splendid Rose tightened her vines until she crushed the mighty boxer.

'Now I banish Revival Rose.' Violet continued as she retrieved another card, this time Revival Rose got weaker. (2200- 1100 ATK)

'Now Splendid Rose can attack again and I attack Sea Koala!'

This time it was the tiny sea-otter, koala hybrid that got crushed by the vines.

'Now Gigaplant!' Violet shouted the mighty plant opened its maw and spewed a deadly acid over Hunter.

Violet then played another card which appeared face-down behind Gigaplant. 'I end my turn.' She stated.

(Mike: 6400) - (Rini: 4800),

(Violet: 3100) - (Hunter: 7100- 7000- 6000- 3600) &

(Kailyn: 1400) - (Milan: 5600)

'Nice move mate.' Hunter complimented Violet as he drew his card, a smirk formed on his face. 'But I'm afraid it ends all here. I activate Ayers Rock Sunrise!' A spell card appeared on the field the famous Ayers Rock in Australia rose in the distance Master of Oz was standing on top of it. (4200 ATK)

'Now your monsters lose two-hundred attack points for each Beast, Plant or Winged-Beast in my Graveyard.' The souls of Des Kangaroo, Big Koala and Sea Koala appeared on the rock as well. (Gigaplant: 2400- 1800 ATK, Splendid Rose: 2200- 1600 ATK)

'Master of Oz!' Hunter roared, the kangaroo, koala hybrid leaped off of the rock. 'I activate Ego Boost!' Hunter roared as he played another spell card, Master of Oz grew stronger. (4200- 5200 ATK)

'I win mate.' Hunter calmly stated then Master of Oz landed in front of Splendid Rose and punched right through one of the rocks surrounding Ayers Rock.

When the dust settled Violet was still standing.

(Mike: 6400) - (Rini: 4800), (Violet: 3100- 200) - (Hunter: 3600) &

(Kailyn: 1400) - (Milan: 5600)

'Interesting.' Hunter muttered as Violet's face-up Rush Recklessly disappeared, it had given Splendid Rose enough attack points for Violet to barely scrape by.

'I activate the effect of Gigaplant.' Violet stated, the maw of the plant opened Splendid Rose crawled out of it. (2200 ATK)

'Next I summon Spore!' She continued the cute, white fluff-ball sprung onto the field. (100 ATK)

Once more the green light illuminated the main street, this time it was Spore who changed into one ring and Splendid Rose leaped through.

'Cold light of the moon, the guardian of flowers set into bloom! Synchro summon, awaken, Black Rose Moonlight Dragon!'

The howl of a dragon echoed over the main street, a dragon that looked like a slightly younger version of the Black Rose Dragon flew over it landed on one of the nearby buildings. (2400 ATK)

'When Black Rose Moonlight Dragon is special summoned I can send one monster my opponent controls back to their hand.' Many thorny vines appeared out from between the rose petals of the dragon, they wrapped around Master of Oz the beast was then flung off of the field, Hunter closed his eyes as he retrieved the card from his Duel Disk.

'Well played mate, well played.' He complimented Violet as Black Rose Moonlight Dragon and Gigaplant moved in for their final attack.

(Mike: 6400) - (Rini: 4800), (Violet: 200) - (Hunter: 3600- 1200- 0) &

(Kailyn: 1400) - (Milan: 5600)

Over at Kailyn's side the Blade was calm, she had taken care of Shark Caesar, Milan seemed to have lost all his momentum, she just had to finish it. 'My turn.' The Wood Elf stated as she drew her card, she turned the Gellenduo card on its side, the creatures landed and fell asleep. (0 DEF)

Then Kailyn played a card which appeared face-down behind Gellenduo.

'I end my turn.' She stated.

'A nice try.' Milan commended his opponent, quickly he drew his card.

'Nobody in the League have ever managed to get my life points as low as you did and you even took out Shard Caesar, too bad you simply missed the cards needed to continue your push.' He played the card he just got.

'Stop defense I change Gellenduo back to attack mode.' The two Fairies woke up and started to fly around again. (1700 ATK)

'Shark Fortress!' Milan roared.

'I activate Lumenize!' Kailyn replied as her trap opened up. 'I negate your attack and until my next end phase Gellenduo gains attack points equal to the attack of your Shark Fortress!' The two Fairies started to move faster as both grew to twice their size. (1700- 4100 ATK)

Milan closed his eyes, he chuckled: 'So you had the means to continue your push after all.' When he opened his eyes again they were more friendly. 'Blade, I must thank you.' Kailyn was taken aback, quickly she drew her card. 'You've showed me a glaring weakness of my Deck, Kailyn.' The Dutchman spoke: 'You broke my momentum, you'll take out my Shark Fortress next, even if you don't deplete my life points completely I don't think I have the means to come back from this.'

He lowered his arms. 'I need to build in some back-up strategies, if you a non-League Duelist can break me actual League Duelists will have a real easy time against me.' His gaze crossed Kailyn's: 'I relied on this strategy because it worked I didn't need anything else but now...' Kailyn stopped him. 'Milan, you're an amazing Duelist realizing your faults and even point them out, I don't know many Duelists who can do this. You've learned from this and you will get out of this stronger.' Kailyn showed a big smile as she played Monster Reborn, the holy Ankh appeared and under it appeared Honest. (1100 ATK)

'I activate the effect of Honest.' Kailyn stated she retrieved the card from her Duel Disk, in a bright light the monster disappeared as Kailyn added it to her hand. 'Next I summon Regulus!' She shouted the mighty, armor-wearing lion with the horn on its forehead leaped onto the field. (1700 ATK)

'Gellenduo!' Kailyn shouted the two Fairies charged in their target was the mechanical shark. 'I activate Honest!' Kailyn shouted the Angel appeared behind Gellenduo as their power skyrocketed even further. (4100- 6500 ATK)

In a bright light Shark Fortress exploded, the sinkhole disappeared as Milan had no more monsters who needed it, before Milan could react Regulus leaped at him clawing at his chest.

(Mike: 6400) - (Rini: 4800) & (Kailyn: 1400) - (Milan: 5600- 1500- 0)

Mike was snickering as he drew his card: 'You just did exactly what I wanted you to do, Queen of the Harpies.' He took a card from his hand the two Cloudian Tokens disappeared in a puff of smoke. 'Now I'll show you why they call me the Emperor of the Skies!'

A monster started to form on the field. 'I used two Water monsters as a tribute for my Cloudian - Nimbusman, it gains a Fog Counter for each Water monster I used as a tribute and in return Nimbusman gains five-hundred attack points for each Fog Counter on the field!'

Mike's creature had finally formed it was a humanoid creature made entirely of clouds, it resembled a baby. (1000- 2000 ATK)

'Next I activate Cloudian Aerosol!' Mike continued as a spell card appeared. 'I discard my level eight Cloudian - Eye of the Typhoon from my hand this places eight Fog Counters on Nimbusman!' Mike laughed, the cloud-baby let out a terrifying howl as the attack power of the monster skyrocketed. (2000- 6000 ATK)

Suddenly Rini felt a hand on her shoulder without looking she knew it was Violet who had just finished her Duel, Serana came closer as well.

'Violet she's calm.' The vampire spoke the Blade let go of Rini's shoulder.

'She's grown a lot during all this.' Violet whispered out of Rini's hearing distance. 'She can hold her own Violet, I think she has a plan.' Serana replied: 'Against Daniel and Sophie things looked bleak but without effort she plowed through the life points of both Duelists like it was nothing.'

Violet said nothing as she watched Rini.

'I can sense her heartbeat.' The vampire broke the silence: 'You know that thing Jack sometimes does, that Calm Mind in which he becomes extremely calm? The state Rini is in feels similar but there is something... more.' Serana added.

'More?' Violet asked.

'Magic.' Came Serana's reply: 'Similar as to what I've felt with Tamamo but not malicious.'

Violet looked away from Rini. 'Makes sense, Rini like me was born in Japan. From what Ushiwaka told us about magic being born in a certain part of the world does not mean you are automatically attuned to the magic of that part of the world. Like he said all magic is different.' Violet started to explain: 'I was born in Japan but I am attuned to the magic most found in America, if Rini us attuned to the magic found more in Japan who knows what she's capable of.'

Mike was still cackling: 'I now banish Cloudian Aerosol and Cloudian - Sheep Cloud I can special summon Cloudian - Eye of the Typhoon!'

A large creature made of a dark cloud appeared, it was the size of half a skyscraper, with a large body without a neck it had one, large eye in its head, long arms and it was riding a small tornado, powerful gusts of wind continuously came from the creature. (3000 ATK)

'Nimbusman!' Mike commanded the baby crawled forward and grabbed Harpie Queen out of the air without much effort before Rini knew the creature devoured the bird-lady.

(Mike: 6400) - (Rini: 4800- 400)

'Now to finish it, Eye of the Typhoon attack Harpie Lady Sisters! And when Eye of the Typhoon attacks the battle position of your monster is changed!' The three sisters were launched into the air by a powerful blast of wind. (1950 ATK)

'I activate Harpie Lady Elegance!' Rini shouted as one of her two trap cards opened up. 'I send Harpie Lady Sisters to my Deck then special summon a Harpie from my hand, Deck and Graveyard!'

First appeared Harpie Oracle the blue-haired Harpie with black wings wearing a pink and purple costume she was played from the hand, (1300 ATK) next appeared Harpie Queen from the Graveyard (1900 ATK) and finally Cyber Harpie Lady appeared from the Deck. (1800 ATK)

Mike's eyes widened.

'No she made a mistake!' Violet gasped.

'She didn't.' Serana replied: 'Watch.'

Rini chuckled: 'Mike you explained your card wrong, doesn't matter I happen to know that when Eye of the Typhoon attacks not only the attack target changes battle position but all monsters that aren't Cloudians do, I knew Eye of the Typhoon would come eventually that is why I changed Sisters to defense in the hopes you would attack. I laid a trap for you and now I have enough defenses, if you attack now you won't deal any damage.'

Mike let out a cry of anguish black smoke started to slowly pour out of his nose and mouth, Eye of the Typhoon moved his long arm the three Harpies landed. (Oracle: 1400 DEF, Cyber: 1300 DEF, Queen: 1200 DEF)

The Cloudian grabbed Harpie Queen and crushed her easily.

'I end my turn.' Mike huffed.

'Which means I get to add Elegant Egotist to my hand with the effect of Harpie Oracle.' Rini stated as she retrieved the card from her Deck.

She immediately drew another card. 'I activate Elegant Egotist!' She shouted the spell materialized and with it appeared the pink-haired Harpie Perfumer. (1400 ATK)

'With the effect of Perfumer I add another Elegant Egotist from my hand.' The card slipped from her Deck and she immediately played it this time the Harpie Lady Sisters reappeared. (1950 ATK)

'Next I release Harpie Perfumer in order to advance summon Alector, Sovereign of Birds!' A new monster appeared with a powerful gust of wind a dragon-like creature standing on two legs with nasty-looking claws and two large, red wings spouting from its back the monster was clad in a full suit of armor hiding all its features. (2400 ATK)

'Next I activate Phoenix Wing Wind Blast!' She shouted as her second trap card opened up, she quickly discarded the spell card: Swallow's Next before Mike could react his Eye of the Typhoon was blown away by a powerful wind.

The smoke pouring out of Mike's nose and mouth became worse, now a thin layer also came out of his eyes.

Rini then swapped some cards around first Cyber Harpie Lady stood up (1800 ATK) followed by Oracle. (1300 ATK)

'I activate the effect of Alector, it negates the effects of Cloudian - Nimbusman!' Rini shouted the armored warrior leaped in and grabbed the cloud baby from behind. (6000- 1000 ATK)

With one howl the rest of the black smoke exploded out of Mike's mouth his eyes turned back to normal, he was wobbling on his feet, Harpie Oracle took dive she kicked Nimbusman in the guts, with a cry the cloud creature dissolved then Alector turned around Mike was attacked from all sides by the Harpie Lady Sisters and Cyber Harpie Lady then Alector finished it with its mighty claws.

(Mike: 6400- 6100- 4300- 2350- 0) - (Rini: 400)

Mike made one last gurgling sound as the holograms disappeared before he fell over on his stomach.

It didn't take long for the medical team to arrive, Jack waited until Mike was carried out of the area.

'So Larry is the only one left.' Jack said as he activated his gear: 'Time to ends this.'

Juliet stopped him: 'Leo and I can do this.' She said but Jack shook his head: 'No Tamamo did this, Larry on his own is a formidable Duelist now thanks to Tamamo he is set on destroying us. I am the only one right now who can meet him on the battlefield on equal terms.'

Juliet saw Jack had made up his mind she backed off knowing she wouldn't be able to stop him even if she wanted.

'Besides Juliet.' Jack spoke as he started to make his way towards Larry: 'I have always wanted a Duel against Larry.'
