Chapter Nine: Novice Life

It was the first day of the weekend. Alessia was still having trouble sleeping and channeling. She sat up in bed and rubbed her cheeks. The nightmares were getting worse. She hated the looks she was getting from the others now. She was trying hard in each class that had weaves. Mostly from Alanna. She changed and put her hair up halfway. She wondered if it was safe to approach Alanna Sedai about a haircut. Alessia left her room with her bag and heard sniffling from the room.
"I'm so sorry it happened." A voice caught her attention. Alessia knocked on the door as it opened. Seeing Taylor wiping her eyes.
"Is everything okay?" Alessia asked. She was worried now about her new friend.
"No. Arlane went through the arches last night and never came out." Emma spoke.
"The what?" Alessia asked. She heard about them but had no idea what they were.
"The arches. It's where they take Novices to take their Acceptance test to become Accepted. Many have been failing recently. They are blood sisters. Came here together." Emma spoke with a frown. Alessia rested her hand on Taylor's shoulder.
"I'm so sorry." She spoke as Taylor sniffled and wiped her eyes.
"I wish to be alone for today." She spoke.
"Of course. Come find us if you want some company." Alessia spoke. Seeing the girl nod her head. Alessia hugged her before taking her leave. She didn't know Arlane that well but from the short time she knew her, she was kind and caring. She frowned at this.
"Why do they do these tests if one can lose their life?" Alessia asked with a frown.
"It's to show that we are strong enough to wear the serpent ring." Emma replied. "I hope Taylor is going to be alright." Emma then added. She made a mental note to study about the arches. If of course there were any books about them. She wanted to be prepared in some form. Alessia nodded her head and spotted Jane.
"Jane!" Alessia spoke. Seeing her friend turn around and smile at her. "Why are you ignoring me?" She asked.
"I'm not. It's just. The Accepteds don't spend their time with Novices. It's not socially accepted." She replied.
"Not socially, what? Jane, you're my best friend!" Alessia frowned at this.
"I know. I'm sorry. Just. Hang in there alright? You'll be an Accepted in no time." Jane spoke before taking her leave.
"That's just sad." Emma spoke. Alessia nodded her head. Seeing the sisters gather in the garden. Alessia was watching them before she felt her shoulder touched.
"Come. We aren't supposed to be here right now. They are having a meeting." Emma spoke as Alessia nodded her head. She followed Emma away from the area.
"I'm going to go to the library. I need to catch up." Alessia spoke as Emma nodded her head. Watching the girl take her leave. They were all much younger than her. She was sighing a little again as she took her leave. Managed to find the library with ease as there was a woman she hadn't met before.
"Hello dear. What's your name?" The woman in brown asked. Alessia smiled at her.
"I am Alessia Solace." She spoke.
"Ah. Our famous strong channeler who trumped Trollocs. I'm Adeleas Sedai. What can I do for you?" The woman in brown asked.
"Pleasure to meet you. Um. Do you have any books on the history of the Tower for dummies?" Alessia asked as she heard a chuckle.
"Struggling in your classes?" She asked.
"You have no idea." Alessia frowned.
"No worries. Go ahead and take a seat. I will bring you a few books." Adeleas spoke as Alessia nodded her head as she sat down. Seeing a pile of books set in front of her.
"You may check these out before you do your chores to take to your room." Adeleas spoke as Alessia nodded her head with a smile.

Liandrin's POV

"We lost a sister last night." Sheriam spoke as she walked into the garden. Her blue eyes were scanning the area as she caught Alessia's eyes. The young woman was watching them before being pulled away. Liandrin could see Lillen was watching her closely. She made a face at the shorter woman before looking back at Sheriam.
"Arlane was not strong enough to pass the test." Alanna spoke with a frown. "I do not think she was ready." The woman in green added.
"Are any of them ever ready?" Liandrin then asked as they all looked at her. "We are losing more sisters to the arches recently and with the threats of the Dark One now back, can we really afford to lose anymore?" She asked.
"Liandrin makes a point there." Joiya's voice spoke. She was a gray ajah who is bald. Kind and a wonderful teacher.
"Can we afford to lose anymore? There are even fewer girls coming to us now these days. Fewer than anywhere else in history." Joiya spoke.
"We need them to be ready for whatever is coming." Liandrin spoke. It was now silent. "We cannot afford to lose anymore but we need to push them more." She added.
"What are you implying?" Alanna asked.
"Stop the arches?" Sheriam asked.
"No." Liandrin spoke. "These tests are there for a reason. We have to wait longer until they are actually ready. Push those who are ready." She added.
"What of Alessia Solace? How is she doing?" Sheriam asked Alanna.
"Still blocked. Whatever has happened to her, she needs to get over her block." Alanna spoke.
"She's still having nightmares according to the other Novices." Joiya spoke.
"Has no one given her anything for it?" Lanfear asked as she came into the garden now.
"Yes, but it is not working." Chesmal spoke.
"Interesting." Lanfear spoke.
"Alessia is the strongest channeler we have. We need her to be ready for her test." Liandrin spoke.
"She's not ready. Just like when the army attacked and she fought." Alanna spoke. It seemed that Sheriam had told the others what Alessia told them.
"It seems that all our teachings are not helping." Joiya spoke.
"Let me teach her then." Liandrin spoke. This seemed to have made Lillen mad. The woman was glaring at her now.
"You are not allowed to teach Novices." Alanna spoke.
"Might we remind you that a Novice died under your teachings?" Sheriam spoke.
"Then let me just talk to her." Liandrin then added. Her face was showing no emotion at this. Everyone was silent while looking around.
"Fine. Talk is all you will do." Sheriam spoke.
"Sister Sheriam, this is a bad idea. Alessia's mind is still fragile." Alanna spoke.
"I know. Maybe Liandrin had help with her talk." Sheriam spoke. "We need all the help we can. May the Light help us." Sheriam spoke before taking her leave.

She watched her sisters leave but Alanna.
"You should be careful with her." Alanna spoke while crossing her arms.
"No worries. She has taken a liking to me after all." Liandrin spoke with a small smirk upon her lips.
"She's our strongest. Even the men of Aes Sedai want her at their Tower." Alanna spoke.
"That won't happen." Liandrin nearly snapped. "She's a woman who belongs here at the White Tower." She added.
"There are those claiming to be the Dragon out there. Falsely naming themselves." Alanna then spoke with a sigh.
"Maybe the Dragon is a woman this time." Liandrin spoke.
"You don't think it's Alessia?" Alanna asked.
"No. I don't know. I don't believe the Dragon was reborn. Even if the Dragon was, it is usually a man." Liandrin spoke.
"You are right. It has been men claiming the title." Alanna sighed. "For whatever reason you want to speak to Alessia about, keep in mind, she just came back from a fight that prevented a war." Alanna spoke before taking her leave. Liandrin was still smiling as her eyes caught Lillen's again.
"What's with her?" Tarna asked as she came up to Liandrin.
"No idea but I do not like how she watches Alessia." Liandrin spoke while looking at the other red who showed up.
"Alessia has taken a liking to you, be careful. Don't want her to hate you. It seemed Moiraine got her to hate her." Tarna spoke while looking at her.
"It seems all our sisters are watching Alessia." Liandrin added.
"She's strong. Helped take out an army of Trollocs. I'd watch her as well." Tarna spoke with a chuckle.
"She seems to like you as well." Liandrin spoke as she was walking down the hall with her hands behind her back.
"Only because I seem approachable." Tarna added.
"If she is as powerful as we say she is, we should get her in red." Liandrin spoke.
"Why do you want her in red?" Tarna asked. Liandrin only smiled at Tarna. Giving her a rare smile. "Ohh. I see now." Tarna smirked and laughed before taking her leave. Watching her fellow red before she took off as well. Looking for Alessia now.

End of POV

The bell had rung to let the Novices know it was time to start chores. Alessia sighed as she packed the books into her bag after checking them out. She hurried down the hallway as she put her books up. She dashed out of her room while smacking into someone. Rubbing her head as she looked up. Seeing Lillen on the ground as well.
"Lillen Sedai! I am so sorry! I should have watched where I was going." Alessia spoke as she jumped up and rushed over. Offering her hand to the woman. Their eyes met as Lillen took her hand. She helped her up and made sure she was alright.
"You're alright. I'm surprised it took you this long to crash into me." Lillen spoke with a soft laugh. Alessia frowned at this. She didn't like hurting people. Especially the ones she liked.
"What do you mean?" Alessia asked.
"Normally no one hears me walking around the Tower." Lillen replied.
"Right. You're a quiet one." Alessia spoke. There was that smile again! 'Stop! Stop thinking like that!' She fought inside of her mind.
"How are you coming along with your block?" Lillen asked as Alessia then frowned.
"I'm going to be late for chores." Alessia spoke as she began to walk past Lillen as her arm grabbed. She went tense and then relaxed at the woman's touch for some reason. "I will let Alanna Sedai know why you are late if you answer my question." Her voice was so calm, gentle and a little slow. Her eyes met the dark ones again and sighed a little.
"It's not going well. No matter how hard I try." Alessia replied. Her arm was still being held onto. "I thought you said you weren't going to pry?" Alessia then asked.
"About what happened in Fal Dara, I wasn't but you did tell us what happened. I did say I would help with your block." Lillen spoke. She couldn't look away from those eyes.
"Then I look forward to spending more time with you, Lillen Sedai." Alessia spoke softly. Feeling herself blush at her words as Lillen smiled at her. 'That smile is gorgeous.' She thought as she was then pulled with. It was a gentle pull as she was led to the kitchens. Seeing Alanna cross her arms.
"She was held up by me, sister Alanna." Lillen spoke quietly.
"Very well." Alanna spoke. Alessia watched the woman take her leave as she entered the kitchen. She could see Emma was the only other Novice in here.
"Where's Taylor?" Alessia asked while looking at her.
"She..she.." Emma began before frowning and turned to wash the dishes. Alessia frowned at this.
"Daughter Taylor had run away from the Tower." Alanna spoke as Alessia sighed at her.
"Sometimes the Tower life is not for everyone. Our red sisters went to get her to bring her back." Alanna spoke as she nodded her head. Emma was silent as they cleaned the kitchen.
"Alright. Time to collect dishes from our sisters. Alessia, start on the red floor and go down. Be quick. There are only two of you." Alanna spoke as Alessia took the buckets and nodded. She left the kitchen and walked up the stairs. She remembered where to go. She hummed softly while looking around. She knocked on the first door as it opened.
"Hello!" It was a red no taller than herself. Slim and dark brown hair. "I'm Melinda." She spoke. Alessia smiled and gave her a bow.
"I'm Alessia." She spoke as she was let into the room.
"So you're the one Liandrin is talking about." Melinda spoke as Alessia raised a brow at her. Seeing the woman put her cups into the bucket. "She likes you." Melinda added as Alessia smiled softly. In truth, she liked Liandrin as well. A lot. She also liked Lillen even though others kept telling her to stay away. Moiraine however told her to stay away from everyone. Like that was going to happen? It was impossible!
"I have high respect for Liandrin Sedai." Alessia spoke with a smile before taking her leave. She went room to room. Liandrin and Tarna didn't answer their doors. Wondering if they were the two that left to find Taylor. She finished the red floor and went down to the next floor. It was a different sight from what she is used to. It was cleaner and more organized. Curious as she knocked on the first door. A tall woman with dark hair had opened it. It was Lanfear. The woman today was wearing a simple white blouse and black slacks. Her hands were in her pockets.
"Lanfear Sedai." Alessia spoke with a bow.
"Come in dear." Lanfear spoke as Alessia did. She set one bucket down and collected the cups. Some still had wine in it. "How are you handling Tower life?" She asked.
"It's taking some getting used to. I'll manage." Alessia spoke with a soft smile. She stopped as Lanfear was leaning in her personal space.
"You seem to be struggling in classes." She added.
"Forgive me Lanfear Sedai, I've only been here less than a week." She spoke with a frown. She was afraid of getting the switch already to be honest.
"That is true. Let me know if you need help catching up." Lanfear spoke as Alessia nodded her head. She left rather quickly. The woman was definitely gorgeous. She could see why the Novices all liked her. Though, there was something off about her. She made her way room to room before arriving at the last door. She knocked. There were light footsteps as Alessia was looking to the ground as she itched a spot on her leg when the door opened.
"We keep meeting." Lillen's voice spoke. Alessia blushed and laughed nervously.
"Sorry Lillen Sedai." Alessia spoke with a bow.
"Come in." Lillen spoke as Alessia did. She was grabbing a few dishes as she stopped. Something caught her eyes. She gasped lightly and set the buckets down before quickly walking over to the dresser. There was a large glass jar.
"Is that a?" She asked while looking into it.
"A spider? Yes." Lillen spoke. Alessia was now fascinated by it. "Would you like to hold it?" Lillen then asked.
"Aren't they?" She began.
"Poisonous? This one isn't." Lillen spoke. She seemed to be finishing her sentences and questions. She watched Lillen open the lid and let the spider crawl onto her hand. Alessia's eyes went wide as the spider was now in front of her. Lillen had grabbed her hand and let it slowly crawl onto her. She gasped lightly. She then began to laugh lightly. Feeling the tiny feet tickle her hand.
"I've never held one before." Alessia spoke softly. She could feel the older woman wrap an arm around her shoulder. The other hand is still under her hand. Watching the spider closely as well. The closeness of the woman was making her heart race now. She now noticed the room. It was dark inside. There were many more jars that also had spiders in them. She was now curious.
"This one is called a Uloboridae. Also known as a hacked orb weaver." Lillen spoke as she gently took the spider to put it back into its home. Alessia was looking in the jars. There were many different colors and shapes.
"What's this one?" She asked. It was a decent sized black spider. It looked harmless.
"That is an Atrax robustus. The most poisonous spider ever found." Lillen spoke as Alessia's eyes went wide.
"Why do you have it?" She asked.
"The jar lid is sealed tightly by weaves. It cannot escape. It's for research. For an Anti-venom." Lillen spoke. Alessia felt a small relief as she looked into another jar. There were a few of them. They were jumping around inside.
"They are so cute!" Alessia spoke softly with a smile. This seemed to have made Lillen smile. "What are these ones?" She then asked.
"You like spiders?" Lillen asked.
"I do now!" Alessia spoke. She bent over a little to get a better look. Feeling a hand on her lower back as Lillen leaned over as well.
"Most call them jumping spiders. They are the friendliest ones." Lillen spoke with a smile. She then realized the time.
"I should get back." Alessia spoke as Lillen nodded her head.
"You're the first to ever step foot in here by the way." Lillen spoke as Alessia stopped with a confused look. "The others avoid me and my room." She added.
"There's a first for everything, Lillen Sedai." Alessia smiled with a bow as she grabbed her buckets and took her leave. She quickly made her way down the stairs with a smile on her face as she was humming. She found something she started to like and found it from Lillen Sedai. That woman was definitely interesting. She made her way back into the kitchens as the Accepteds were now in there but they weren't the ones she was used to seeing. They looked like they were nice but boy was she wrong!
"Where's Emma?" Alessia asked with a frown.
"She's in the garden speaking to Alanna Sedai. Something about a runaway found burned at the stake." One of the girls spoke. Alessia gasped and covered her mouth. She turned and ran from the kitchen. Not knowing she ran past Liandrin in an accident. Seeing Alanna sitting on a bench next to Emma who had her face in her hands. She stopped nearby with a frown. Something had happened and by looking at Emma, it was not a good thing. She was curious and wanted to ask but decided against it.
"I'll excuse you for the rest of the day. Go get some rest." Alanna spoke to Emma. Watching the girl stand up and lock eyes with Alessia.
"I'll see you around Alessia." Emma spoke as she nodded her head. Watching the younger girl take her leave. Alessia was still frowning as Alanna squeezed her shoulder.
"You should get back to your chores. You can rest after the kitchen. It's been a long day." Alanna spoke as Alessia nodded again. Giving Alanna a bow before leaving back to the kitchens.

"I swear, they get weaker than the one before them. Each time a new Novice comes to the Tower is weaker than the one before." A voice spoke as Alessia frowned.
"I'm not weak." Alessia spoke as they all turned to look at her.
"Right! I apologize. You can't even channel!" The blonde spoke as they all laughed.
"I can channel! I'm just blocked." Alessia spoke softly. Watching the blonde walk up to her.
"Prove it." She had a knife at Alessia's throat as she gulped.
"Enough now. Get back to your chores." Liandrin's voice spoke. Alessia was glaring at the Accepted girl. "Alessia, come find me once you are done here." Liandrin added as Alessia nodded her head. Watching the red ajah take her leave as Alessia began working on the dishes.
"Why isn't Emma here helping?" One of them asked.
"Alanna Sedai gave her the night off." Alessia replied. Hearing a scoff come from the same girl. She was finished with the dishes as she swept the floor. Finishing her chores as she said her goodnights before taking her leave.
"Alessia! Hey!" I'm talking to you!" The girl shouted. Alessia saw Lillen watching from a corner. She felt the collar of her dress grabbed as she was pushed against the wall.
"Do not ever talk to us again you filthy Novice. Or I will make your life at the Tower miserable." She spoke.
"Everything alright here, daughter Trina?" Lillen's voice came. She was now standing near them with her hands behind her back.
"Lillen Sedai! No. We just." Trina started.
"Run." A girl whispered as they all turned and dashed away.
"Hmph." Alessia sighed.
"You alright?" Lillen asked while touching her arm.
"Yes, thank you Lillen Sedai." Alessia spoke with a bow.
"Heading to bed?" She asked.
"No, Liandrin Sedai asked me to find her once I was done. Any idea where I might find her?" Alessia asked.
"Her room perhaps?" Lillen asked. Alessia smiled at her. Giving her another bow before taking her leave.
"Goodnight Lillen Sedai." Alessia called out. She climbed the stairs to the red floor. She sighed a little as she found Liandrin's room and knocked on it.
"Enter." The woman's voice was firm. She opened the door and walked inside. Closing the door behind her. Seeing the woman in red looking out the patio door as she closed it.
"You wanted to see me, Liandrin Sedai?" Alessia asked.
"Yes. I apologize about your friends." She spoke as Alessia nodded her head lightly.
"I didn't know them but only for a few days. It still hurts to see our numbers dwindle." Alessia spoke softly.
"They were not strong enough to wear the ring." Liandrin spoke as she was watching Alessia. She frowned. Then without hesitation, Liandrin moved her hands quickly. Alessia was off her feet as she was thrown against the wall.
"You took oaths!" Alessia shouted. Feeling a weave of wind pushing her against the wall.
"My intention is not to harm you." Liandrin spoke. She weaved again as Alessia was lashed with fire. She shouted in pain. There was a lash of wind this time. Then another. And another.
"Weak!" Liandrin shouted at her.
"I'm not weak!" Alessia shouted back.
"Then fight back!" Liandrin ordered her. Feeling more lashes as Alessia screamed. Feeling a push of air leave from her body. Liandrin was now on the ground. She gasped. Alessia stood up and ran over to her.
"I'm so sorry! Are you hurt?" Alessia asked as she grabbed Liandrin's hands into her own. Then the woman in red only smiled at her.
"You saw that weave once and recreated it." She spoke. Alessia frowned. How could this woman be smiling?
"I thought I hurt you." Alessia spoke with a frown.
"I was helping you get over that block." Liandrin spoke. Alessia stood up and offered her hand. Liandrin took it and stood up. Brushing herself off. Hearing a knock on the door.
"Is everyone alright? I heard shouting?" It was Tarna's voice.
"You may come in sister Tarna." Liandrin spoke. Seeing the door open.
"Oh. I'm not interrupting anything, am I?" The other woman asked with a smirk. Aless blushed like mad at this.
"Not at all." Liandrin then spoke.
"Then why is she blushing so red?" Tarna asked. Liandrin grabbed Alessia's chin to look. Smirking at this as well.
"Perhaps because I whipped her?" Liandrin asked.
"You what now?" Tarna asked while roaring with laughter now.
"Try and channel now." Liandrin spoke. Alessia nodded. She closed her eyes to remember the weave Alanna taught her on her first day. She reached out and gasped. Pulling the power to her as she weaved. Creating the ball of light.
"She did it!" Tarna spoke with a smile.
"Let's see. She had only been here a few days. Got over a block and recreated weaves perfectly. I'd say it was rather a successful day?" Liandrin asked as she poured three cups of wine. Handing one to each of them. Alessia sniffed the drink before taking a drink. Coughing at the dryness of it. Hearing a chuckle as Liandrin took the drink from her to finish it off.
"It's not bad. Just really strong." Alessia spoke as Tarna nodded her head.
"Head to bed. You need rest." Liandrin spoke as Alessia nodded. She turned to leave then stopped. She quickly moved over to Liandrin and hugged her.
"Thank you Liandrin Sedai." Alessia spoke softly. Feeling the hug returned before she turned to leave. She closed the door behind her.
"Told you she likes you." Tarna's voice she heard from the other side of the door.
"We'll make a red out of her yet." Liandrin spoke.
"Oh stop. You like her, Liandrin. It's been so long since you smiled like that." Tarna spoke. Alessia blushed at this. She decided to not hear anymore as she took off again.

She took her leave again as she made her way back to the other side of the Tower. Sighing softly. She was going to miss the other Novices. Hoping that Emma was going to get some rest. She stopped and hid behind a corner when she saw Sheriam with a lantern. Seeing her pull Emma out of her room and followed her. Alessia frowned at this. Why did Sheriam want Emma so late at night? Deciding she would ask tomorrow for now she needed to get back to her room. She moved quickly and walked into her room. Closing the door behind her. Moving her hands as she weaves fire. Lighting the candles in her room. She smiled softly at this. It felt good to be using the Power again after what happened. She picked up a book to start her translations of the Old Tongue to the common one so she could at least understand somewhat of what Lanfear was talking about in class. Finding them and writing down each one. She yawned lightly while she continued reading. Setting that book aside as she pulled out the history book she checked out from the Tower. It intrigued her a lot. The different colored ajahs and the new one recently made. It was more of a secret ajah for experimenting with the One Power. 'This is why we haven't advanced.' Alessia frowned. It was frowned upon. To advance more than what they were now. Six thousand years ago, they had flying wagons and what not. Alessia frowned at this. She had wished they had it now during her time. It felt like nothing had changed since the last Dragon. 'If I am truly the Dragon, I'll lead these people into a better era. A healthier one.' Alessia spoke to herself. Though, in order to do that, she needed to gain more and better knowledge. She was going to have to push herself to catch up and learn all that she could. She decided to read the next chapters. Her eyes were getting heavy now as she yawned again. Laying down on her bed as the candles went out without burning anything.

"Murderer!" The voices began to chant again. Alessia groaned and covered her ears. 'Not this again!' She shouted in her head. There was a storm in the sky that shook the very ground she was on. The thunder made it shake as the buildings shook around her. Dropping to her knees as the rain drenched her clothes. The fires are still burning the city down to ash. Bodies piled up as the Trollocs raided the city. The ground was stained with mud and blood as it trailed across the stone roads. Staining everything in its path.
"No! Please!" Alessia shouted. Closing her eyes tightly. As everything died down. Feeling a gentle hand touch her shoulder as she jumped a little. Looking around. She was no longer in the city. Instead, she was in a clearing of a forest.
"Where? How?" Alessia asked while looking at the person standing next to her. "Lillen Sedai? What happened?" Alessia asked. She was looking around again. Scanning the area to see if there were any threats. There were none. She felt at a slight ease.
"No nightmare tonight. You need rest." Lillen spoke. She was so confused now.
"But how?" Alessia asked again. Lillen only pressed a finger to her lips as Alessia stood up. Looking around again. There was a pile of blankets that made a bed. She walked over to it and laid upon it. There were a few flowers slowly blooming in sight all around her. Hearing a river nearby that gave a calming sound. Feeling her heart slow down now as she sighed in relief. There were trees singing as the wind was gentle. She felt her head lifted a little as she was now laying her head on Lillen's lap.
"I don't know what you did but thank you." Alessia spoke softly. She was tired but sleep was hard to come by. 'But this is a dream.' Alessia told herself. She felt her cheek being petted as she smiled and closed her eyes. Enjoying the feeling of the gentle fingers against her skin.
"Why do the women not like you in the Tower?" Alessia asked quietly.
"They're afraid of me. That they will go crazy, catch it from me." Lillen spoke softly.
"You're not crazy." Alessia spoke. She felt her shoulder squeezed in response to this.
"How is your channeling?" Lillen asked.
"Liandrin Sedai helped me. I can channel now." Alessia spoke with a smile.
"Oh yeah? You feel better?" Lillen asked.
"You ask a lot of questions." Alessia spoke. Hearing a soft laugh.
"As do you." The older woman replied back.
"True. I'm just naturally curious." Alessia spoke.
"I am as well." Lillen added. Alessia felt her hand taken. She squeezed it. Alessia took the courage and kissed Lillen's hand. She felt a kiss on her forehead in return. Feeling her cheeks burn a little from this. Her heart raced a little.
"Thank you. For whatever you did." Alessia repeated herself.
"You needed rest from your mind." Lillen responded. 'It's only a dream.' Alessia kept telling herself. She was surprised when she yawned again. Curling up as a blanket was pulled over her body. Her eyes slowly closed as she drifted. Feeling her body rocked in the waves of a body of water. She dared not open her eyes. She was completely relaxed now. Her mind slowly heals from the battle she faced not long ago. The waves crashing against the shore gave off a relaxation sensation all over in the open air. It sounded like an ocean. As if she was no longer in the forest. She could smell the salt in the air. She would love to visit the ocean in life. Whatever this woman did, she was grateful. Even though this was only a dream.

-Notes-
Are they only dreams? One will have to wait to find out!
