The Chosen One's Jedi Quest I: The Phantom Menace

Warnings: With this story, it's going to be fully focused on Anakin's side of things, leading into the ceremony, and before they return to the Capitol now. As not only does the team get their memories back, the Rebel Alliance Leaders. And the Jedi Order get their's as well, seeing that Anakin and Vader are two very different sides. And of his personality, the aspect of cloning is in order, as they clone his alter ego now.
This story is going to use the theoretical from my other story, as the Jedi Quest novels. So the remarks in bold print and italic are Vader himself, Anakin is in basic, not bold and italicized. So this are and will be as though Anakin and Vader are two separate beings now. As the Jedi, the Naboo and everyone in the galaxy, once he clones himself, know that Vader is a separate entity to Anakin's personality entirely.
With this chapter Anakin creates his twin brother, from his alter ego, creating his name, he's doing one side of it, and the other is the one on thin ice here. With his mother at the moment, before Qui-Gon arrives right now, as the story shifts courses. And he becomes the golden child of his friends, his family, Watto and the Hutts. And as well as the town locals, he was everything Ferus is in the Jedi temple now to them.
And as the Jedi see his alter ego as the Chosen One, but are training Anakin in secret here, as the lightsaber implication. Is Vader, and everything that involved the darkside was Vader, Anakin himself grows up to be the perfect Jedi padawan, as they all graduate at 27 to 29. This chapter is going to leave out Anakin'sPOV exchange with his mother, as those thoughts are Vader's, Anakin shows the maturity of a 25 year old from here as the weeks go by.
Chapter 2: Return Of The Jedi And Changing The Past II
"Point taken and yes I remember that right now, we ended up on the same ship and had to prevent a war between the sides." Qui-Gon said and Dave started laughing at that remark. "I need to talk to Masters Windu and Adi actually, I think I'm like them right now. I am, and I must be his color, control the evil in my heart and a guardian." Anakin said and Yoda nodded gently. "Arrange personal counseling sessions for you, I can." he said and Anakin nodded then.
"Well younger then normal, but there's my you, my baby brother, you're my life." Obi-wan said smiling and he smiled. "Love you too Master." he said and Qui-Gon chuckled. "As there's your remark before the situation with Xanatos got started, but you made your point right now. That when the fight comes to you, best be ready to fight it out to protect people right now. And don't go looking for trouble, as that causes more as it's okay to defend yourself right now, Master."
"And to say this again after my mission to Gala got hijacked now, 'For our first mission together, Yoda has chosen something he thinks will be routine. Of course, If routine you count on, disappointed your hopes will be.'" Obi-wan said and Anakin completed the remark. "It is better to expect nothing, and let each moment surprise you," he said, remembering something he had been taught at the Temple and Yoda nodded. "Indeed and very good." he said to him gently.
"But I want to return to my unit, and get my team back together, fix what the darkside so rightfully wronged here, but I learned enough from that flash forward now. To teach this to the next generation, after our time in the Republic comes to an end now. That 1) control the last two emotions, 2) never take anything the alter ego offers, power, money. Or items you wish for or you belong to them after that, you allow them to control you and it destroys now here."
"But fear leads to lose something leads to desperation to prevent it from happening, desperation leads to irritation that which is delaying it, irritation. That leads to anger that which prevented you from going to the aid that started this, anger leads to hate. Said that which took it from you hate, if not checked at the door, leads to pain and suffering. As you do something, something you can never take back and 3) your insights serve you well, but bury your feelings."
"Anxieties, deep down, they do you credit, but they could be made to serve the enemy, as such, your past can shape your future, if you allow it to. Nothing is set in stone, the future is only that which we make of it." he said and Yoda and Obi-wan smiled proudly then. "Indeed and very good that is, understand finally you do finally, very correct you are, on everything. Always remember you should, old sins cast great shadows." Yoda said and he nodded, smiling gently.
"The me inside that bloody uniform, just completed Light's training, if that me was still alive, I would complete his train and bring us back, but metaphorically. If shot back to now, we can do everything all over again, and I'm a padawan till I'm 25. That I'm in no rush to graduate, I want to stay at your side forever, brother." he said and Yoda smiled. "I understand Annie, but soon time to let go of the safety net, I'm your safety net, as mentor." Obi-wan said to him then.
"This is going to be a long 18 years brother, but I never had a better time with you and Master Jinn, or Master Yoda, I can adapt to this far too easily. Knowing who I been chosen by, I want to be your apprentice, the best team in the entire Order, you're my family. Time to return home, but I have two, my home away from home is you." he said smiling and Obi-wan smiled. 'Yeah getting a smile out of him was always the high point when he was a teenager, my brother."
"I get a second chance and we work well together, but keeping him away from Sidious is the key, so if we're training both him and his alter ego. Well then his alter ego is my apprentice, and he goes to Siri as this becomes exactly as I told Luke now.' he thought gently as he looked at the near 3 years younger version of his padawan, remembering the little boy he met then. "Yeah I love you too baby brother, you're my entire life." he said and Qui-Gon and Yoda smiled at that.
"And point taken now, checking in on the com-link or the mental connection now, exact it is, feelings and emotions, the sense your padawan, or mentor, is endanger will slam into place soon, and when does it does, you will know, as you have to go to them. Or they come to you, before the threat, reveals itself it does now." Yoda said and Obi-wan nodded gently. "And when we got the missions crisscrossing over each other, we know we got a problem here right now."
"If the detour points us directly at Anakin, and we have to get to him, before our Phantom Menace shows up next." Qui-Gon said sternly and he nodded. "Shmi, you wanted to see me?" Watto asked as he came in then and she nodded. "Watto, the hours got scored back slightly, Annie is being trained as a padawan initiate now. Schooling hours, they are from…" she started to say and Yoda nodded. "Eight a.m. to 1 p.m.." he said and Watto nodded gently then.
"So 5 hours training, 5 hours in my shop, indeed we can do that, during the normal work week now, I am assigning you two days off now, I expect you in there at noon, Annie." he said and Anakin nodded to the orders gently. "Yes Watto, you have my word, 2 days off for a break to be with my friends and I'm training on one side and at work on the other." he said and they nodded. "Expect trouble, the younger twin is far more reckless." he added and they nodded.
"Young man these are not toys, they are dangerous weapons, until you learned the proper control and maturity, you are not getting a real lightsaber." Dave said sternly and Anakin felt a flinch at that remark. "Well baby I want to see your skill, but this is a training one." Leia said and he nodded as they outback, as he trained outside then Yoda smiled. "Issues in training, leads to a backfire, just carry that around with him, let him." he said and she nodded gently.
"Issues right now, but there's the all day schedule, and I get weekends off now." he said and they nodded in agreement. "Indeed, and saying of which, very well, your schedule now, you work afternoons, after lunch, and then you get weekends off, Annie. But best run a security scan, I may have the equipment necessary for your lightsabers now. I do and there's my side business, you can come to me, for repairs in your lightsabers." Watto said and they nodded.
"Like Qui-Gon said, don't center on your anxiety, keep your concentration on the here and now where it belongs." Obi-wan said and he nodded. "But Master said I should be mindful of the future." he said and Obi-wan nodded. "But not at the expense of the moment, be mindful of the unifying force, my young padawan." he said and Anakin nodded. "Yes Master, how soon do we expect trouble in the republic?" he asked and Yoda hid a chuckle then as he answered him.
"I'm not entirely sure, but the way this is going as soon as 3 years when we come to get you, after 3 years training right now." he said and Anakin nodded. "We brought a training lightsaber and remote, a helmet and few other things so you can train with here. But you need to work your telekinesis and telepathy, this way when I get in orbit right above you. You can alert me to things right now and on your side of it." he said and Anakin nodded, looking at the lightsaber.
'Well I can just rebuild that as my real lightsaber and then build my new one in 3 years, but do that, Yoda and Obi-wan are going to feel the power blast at wherever they are.' he thought, as they organized the training platform for him, in spending the following two weeks together. Yoda saw that starting him at this age, worked even better then at going on 10 he was more open. And to the training. 'More powerful then ever, he will become.' he thought smiling at this now.
As watching Obi-wan, Qui-Gon and Anakin snap the connection into place now, as they became their team, before Obi-wan hugged him and they left. As he knew Anakin was prepared for a long 3 years till he was reunited with his team, himself, the council, his friends and his wife then….
The Phantom Menace-3 Years Later:
"Mom, I'm for heading the shop now." he said and heard his mother's voice. "Alright Annie, see you tonight." she said and he nodded, as he left for work then. "Chut chut Watto, good afternoon." he said and his owner smiled gently at him. "I have a few errands to run, you have watch over the shop, till I get back, in 5 hours, Annie." he said and Anakin nodded to the orders gently, knowing that would give him ample time to gather supplies to create his lightsaber then.
After 3 years, he felt stronger than he ever had before, he felt like a normal padawan, hearing the repeated reports from Yoda, after getting his progress. The fight had been revealed now, as Obi-wan, after much deliberation and a near altercation between himself. This time vocally, and Brazen Charzin had proven the same ending results as Obi-wan himself and Bruck Chun. And Yoda had deliberated and decided they weren't doing this twice, and he belonged, in advance.
To the Jinn/Kenobi team now, after a comm between Dave and Yoda, the council had given him permission to start his version of a gathering. And he had begun gathering the equipment to start building his lightsaber, which, in his mind. Was now modeled on his teenage and young adult lightsaber, and the council had agreed he was ready for this. The training and schedule had become normal, to himself, Shmi and his friends and Watto and everyone in the spaceport.
Now acknowledged him as a junior padawan, though no lightsaber, they respected him and treated him like they did his adult counterparts. As everyone saw him as a friend, and to them they took great pride in being friends and acquaintances of his. "The council has granted approval of creating my lightsaber, but I think you may have a bigger problem. A lot of this equipment uses the same crystals and powers cells as lightsabers do, so you could have a side."
"Watto, some of these scrap metals could be used to repair a lightsaber if our visitors are Jedi, you know mom's sister and her husband are Jedi turned moisture farmers." he said and he nodded. "What's their colors?" he asked and Anakin smiled. "In truth, like Obi-wan and his soulmate, the next age group up, but hot pink near violet and sky blue, my grandfather. He's Orange, it runs in my family, so shot through generations." he said and the alien nodded then.
"If they prefer red, confiscate those crystals, all non force sensitives know only Sithlords and Dark Jedi use red, Jedi use green, blue or yellow. Although I heard from a Keganite, that they had two carrying sunrise orange and hot pink near violet, Annie." he said and Anakin nodded to the orders. "They must be stronger then the trio, but looks like pink and orange, and purple are the minority, there's hundred of the trio, but the quintet not so many." he said and he nodded.
As he flew out the door, and Anakin saw the right sized pieces of metal, and carefully pried open a few old pieces of technology, a few power cells and gathered 60 crystals. Enough to create 30 lightsabers, as he smiled, in creating himself a twin brother, running himself an estimate of the cherry red crystals, he said it gently counting to himself. "One, 2, 3, 4,…, you got to be kidding me, how many red crystals did we have in this stuff, Watto, we had over 225, in red here now."
"And 180 of the other 3 colors here!" he called out and he blew back in at that news then. "So there are 3 crystals to create a lightsaber, 180/3=60 per color right now." he said and Anakin nodded gently. "Yeah exactly, 60 blues, 60 greens and 60 yellows, but these are natural colors instead of the gems taking the color of what is inside your soul. In this case it comes by it naturally, but we're like Dantooine, we had every color in colors, including red here now."
"That's 60 blue, green and yellow, and what looks like 75 red ones." he said and Watto nodded sternly to the news. "I know your uncle is a Jedi, get them to your house, and tell your aunt and uncle, before we got a Dark Jedi or worse dropping in." he said and Anakin nodded as he bagged the crystals. "Well we got enough equipment here to create at least 85 lightsabers now, while once I get that hyperdrive generator, we can make a killing off that." he said to him gently.
"Indeed, but now maybe a good time to stop gambling, before you lose everything here, Watto." they heard in response and he looked up at that remark then. "That's an understatement, but is it possible to create purple crystals?" he asked and the man dressed in an adult version to the Jedi tunic and pants nodded smiling gently. "If you intend to build one then yes, but Cin, Tolan and I are telling you to pay careful attention to constructing it." he said and Anakin nodded.
"Well Andy would rush the construction, and do that it would explode here, causing quite the mess with the crystals themselves." he said and Watto hid a chuckle at that. "Indeed, but if you built a protocol droid out of scraps, and you're working on a podracer. Also built from said, there's not a reason you can't do this to, you're more patient in training. Then your twin is right now, but that podracer is a Jedi handicap." he said and Watto started laughing at that news.
"Then you're letting everyone have a sum number in second headstart, before catching up, well that makes this more fun." he said and Anakin nodded, as they heard squeaking, before hearing through the squeaks. 'No, wait, don't get too close or you'll…' they heard as they heard a loud explosion and Anakin lowered his head. "Ody, get those guys under control, that keeps up it's blowing out the turbine next." he said as he started laughing and Watto nodded amused then.
"You couldn't have picked a better time then now to arrive Dave, good to see you, because we got company, they're close by, but we found enough to create 255 lightsabers here." he said and Dave nodded to him. "Like he said, confiscate the reds, and bring them, if you get chosen for senior junior padawan with the council, bring those and the power cells to Yoda. Not a bribe, it's insurance, as they see you've learned enough from me to create it." he said and he nodded.
'Yeah Mace and Obi-wan, Master and Father would agree with my train of thought, confiscate the red ones, before we got a Sith dropping in. Don't worry Mace, Kit, Agen, Saesee, I'm never losing you or turning on you again, a few weeks and then back together now.' he thought gently to his mentor and the trio that were murdered along with the mentor dropping in soon enough. 'Father, Obi-wan, can you hear me?' he thought, not really expecting an answer, till he got one.
'Yes I can Annie, where are you, because we are enroute to Naboo right now, from the capitol.' he heard gently from his father mentor and smiled. 'Obi-wan I think you know the answer to that question right now, but I encountered an add on problem. That you need to know about here, before we get jumped,' he said gently and then heard the mental voice of his mentor. 'What's going on Anakin, if you mentally commed us.' he said and he explained it.
'I found in my salvage, 255 crystals in 4 colors, the most here are red ones, totaling up to 85 lightsabers, the others are 60 each of the green, blue and yellow ones. In total, my owner has enough crystals, equipment, to create 255 lightsabers, also I sense here. The darkside is getting stronger, like we got an elusive evil gearing up to attack, but you come here. I'm telling you directly, as I meet your protection detail face to face.' he said gently and he heard a stern tone.
'You found 255 red crystals, yes indeed that's not good, that means the darkside is waiting in the wings, they could be back, but we get attacked. When I come get you, and there's our physical proof if whoever attacked us is carrying a red lightsaber. It's time, after 3 years, the timer is up right now, but we have to get to you first. And before whoever this is, realizes you're this powerful after 3 years out of temple now.'
'Get those crystals and take them home, once we arrive, do I know any Jedi on your planet?" he asked and he said it. "I'm the nephew of Davish, Dave Starglider, his wife's younger sister is my mother, her name is Leia Skywalker. But the force runs strong in my family, but Leia is hot pink, near violet, my grandfather Jacen Skwalker is orange. So I think I'm your friend's color of purple." he said and felt a smile through the link as he answered him.
"Dave and Leia are my companion clan group, I knew they were farmers, so they're moisture farmers, alright. We're taking a fast detour, if the ship is damaged son, see you in a few weeks, may the force be with you." he said and Anakin nodded. 'And you as well Father, brother be careful, see you when you arrive.' he said and hung it up. "They're heading for Naboo, so if in need of repairs, they're coming here." he said and the duo nodded.
"Hey guys, we need to talk, so meeting at my house tonight please, I get the feeling we got two versions of company. Showing up, one good, one bad right now." he said and his friends and their parents nodded. "Our visitors are a Master/Padawan team, they're Jedi, the Master is staying with me, along with his protection duty." he explained and his friends nodded. "Well we don't have much, but offer what we do have, hospitality." Shmi said and he nodded, smiling.
As they met up after dinner then. "What's going on, Annie?" Shmi asked and he explained that. "While working today in the yard, I had a vision of force sensitive visitors now, one dressed in black, the other dressed in the clothes of a farmer. The second is the one we have to make contact with and now, it's Obi-wan and Master Jinn. But they're enroute to Naboo right now, and about to encounter hostile forces and one of them is a red blade." he said to her then gently.
"Been 3 years in training, you reached the level of creating your lightsaber, you're ready now for this, but time, patience and you earned it." Leia said and he nodded. "Yeah I mastered the moves, but choosing my color is a bigger problem, I carry both side of me. But though I want knowledge, I'm careful in how to get it, evil, in my heart, but I'm a guardian. And give my mother the sunlight to shine her way out of the tunnel." he said and she nodded gently then.
"Son, you could be a guardian or a sentinel, I don't know, until you build that lightsaber, but you mastered the moves in combat training at the moment here. And we need to get you accustomed to a real one, before we got company coming here. In knowing your brother could drop in, and your alter ego is getting antsy." Dave said sternly to that news. "Yeah I know that the work day got pushed back an hour, as I get the salvages done." he said and they nodded.
"How do you intend to do this?" Watto asked and he explained that. "Until I get myself cloned, I'm pretending to be my twin, but I'm the younger of the 2 of us. But of us, only I have the knowledge and know how, in how to create a lightsaber. As her big sister is a Jedi turned farmer." he said and he nodded. "So one twin accidentally wrecks the podracer, you, I send to handle bartering detail, then we got these visitors dropping in?" he asked and Anakin nodded.
"My twin wrecked the racer in the second half of the second lap, I was driving fine." he said and Watto nodded sternly. "He's crashed 6 times in 6 months, alright if they need a way to pay for the parts, you're the driver, you just became a padawan initiate. And he's never studied enough to actually learn patience and trusting your instincts here now with this." Dave said sternly and he nodded. "My podracer, it's time." he said and they both nodded in agreement then gently.
"You better see this." he said and they nodded, as he lead them outback and they saw it. "Yes indeed, may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts right now." Ceran Starstreamer said and he nodded. "Watto, you mind." he asked and held up the power cell and he shook his head, as he stuck it into the engine. And powered up, as the turbines activated and he crossed his arms. "Like I would say, he supplies the entry fee, I supply you." he said to him then gently.
"The symbol of the Jedi Order is a blue living sunrise now, so we use that now on the pod itself, but you're a padawan, no human can do this without getting killed. And the only ones that can are all one type, we learn to fly early, but this life suits you, Annie." Leia said smiling as she gripped his shoulders and he smiled. "I'm your star pupil Aunt Leia, Uncle Dave, your best student, I'm everything that embodies a padawan Jedi here." he said and she stroked his hair.
"You always were our golden child." Amee's father, Wilhelm Farcloud said and he nodded gently. "Sorry Watto, but I had to gather supplies to create said lightsabers." he said and he nodded. "It's alright, you take as many as you need, you always served me with grace and honesty right now, but you did half the race and made it to the halfway point, An…?" he started to say and they nodded. "Andy, Andrus Darian Vandel, nickname of Andy." he said and they nodded then.
"Andy took over, and he crashes it, you have to be the one to repair it, while at the same time, are doing the bartering for me. And gather a few pieces to help our visitors now, once they get here, well we know how powerful our visitor is. But hopefully they do nothing stupid in town and run afoul of Sebulba." he said and Anakin nodded in agreement. "Our first is black cloaked, he's dangerous, but mom, I need some training by Uncle Dave." he said and she nodded gently.
"Okay, Watto, he's working the shop from after lunch to 1600hrs, but morning training with with his uncle everyday as usual." She said and he nodded gently to her. "Everyone in town knows I'm a padawan initiate, but whatever prophecy was created. It's connected to the future of our family now, and the details, from the Master duo's eyes are pretty vague. So if they can give me a description, I can unlock it." he said and she and her sister Leia Starglider both nodded then.
"What do these sound like if a circuit gets crossed, Leia?" Shmi asked her and her husband nodded with a bemused smile. "It sounds like a blaster going off right now, as the chosen focusing crystals explode, leaving whatever colored pebbles there on the bedroom floor." he said and she nodded with a bemused smile. "If you hear a droning coming from it now, get clear, and before the power cell explodes, Annie." she said gently to him and he nodded to the orders.
As they prepared to have their Jedi visitors drop in. "Master, I'm just going to be working over time here, but you find me at the shop at 1630 hours. I'm working from noon till 5, but the Jawas sell engine parts, once I find what you need. And if ship is damaged, I can repair it, but my shop is owned by a toydarian named Watto, we live in Mos Espa. Capitol city of Tatooine, once in range, I'll tell Jabba, we got you arriving, I'm your guide." he said gently to him then.
"Qui-Gon, you read me." Dave said, activating his communicator. "Yes loud and clear Dave, good to see you again, you as well, Leia, hello padawan. Good to see you again, how is your training right almost time now." he said smiling and he smiled gently. "Yeah almost time, but rather then natural crystals, I'm creating my own." he said and they smiled. "You are, well you just train, and we will see you soon when I get us there." Obi-wan said to him.
"Once we do this, but I know you're just doing that in faking the last crash, Anakin, because this last one means getting the equipment. But she doesn't realize you're a padawan in training, but your rival is getting the shock of a lifetime. When he sees what you become after only 3 years now, but way of the apprentice. This means not showing violence, brother." he said and Anakin nodded to him, smiling gently at his image.
"To hide my signature, I been crashing on purpose, it won't be till you get here I reveal my skills now brother, after 3 years training." he said and he nodded. "Once we get there, I want to see that podracer, because we got a chance, you're a padawan. And at times even we Jedi have to gamble, to get ourselves out of trouble. As my Master's friend's daughter used her culinary skills to get us out of a bind." he said and Anakin nodded gently to him.
"Obi-wan, 3 years training, I mastered the moves now, but I'm about to build my lightsaber, I could be one of the other. By that Masters Windu or Gallia, whichever one I end up with I'll show you when you get here." he said and Obi-wan nodded to that. "Got it Anakin, I'll see you when we get there right now." he said and Anakin nodded. "Well new addition to the team, but team trios, Father, I'm your youngest, you chose me directly after this talk and meeting."
"As there are things I know on your team nobody else does, but as for politicians, I agree with you, if our queen becomes the senator. Only she and her committee can be trusted, but the new elect and the bureaucrats can not. But best you say this, before he turns his sights on me right now, I belonged to you first for 3 years now, as we counted down." he said and the man smiled at that. "I know and agreed, we learned that with Belasco." he said and Anakin nodded.
"Is that connected to your remark on cooking your way out of trouble?" he asked and his brother nodded. "Yes long story and I can tell you enroute to the capitol, if we need to make an emergency landing on your planet." he said and they nodded. "The spaceport coordinates are 22,45, south, 23, 56 by south-southeast, we're the capitol city of Tatooine. Our planet is run by Jabba the hutt." Shmi said and he nodded smiling gently to the news gently.
"The fight of deliberation of choosing between you and Brazen Charzin started here, again, he's just like Bruck Chun right now, and you. And based on Master's report, turned into your brother in 3 years here right now." Qui-Gon said gently and he nodded. "Everyone sees me the way they did you, but that fall back demeanor, you had as a cub yourself, it's turned aggravating at times." he said and the man nodded, smiling with a chuckle.
"I get why, but that was Master Dooku's point of view, if he could rid me this inept ability to befriend everyone I came across, I'd be a perfect padawan. But yes, you are me as a youngling in truth, if you have my ability to be this open to the living force. And make friends this easily, that actually comes quite handy padawan, you make close friends, but in the 3 years, since Master changed the code, we adapted."
"And beyond quickly now to the changes in code, your peers are more open like you are then ever, acting like normal children. That if our Sith is hiding in plain sight, the reveal gets drawn out if he was hoping to disillusion you of the Jedi. He's about to be severely disappointed, because you see me as your father, and Obi-wan a brother. While the team are brothers and sisters, aunts and uncle, once he chooses who."
"We're course on set here, as Dave and Leia pass you to me, but your clan are preparing for their gatherings, and your peer, Ferus Olin. He was also a little late-in, getting his lightsaber prepped, but you're the strongest. And best padawans in your class here, Anakin." Qui-Gon said and he nodded gently. "Go with the nickname, Master, Master Yoda chose you as my future unit." he said and Qui-Gon smiled at the revelation then.
"I understand son, alright so 9 years learning the living force, 9 more the unifying, and you start your trials at 26 and graduate to knight at 28. Yes alright you're the next padawan of our team followed by baby you, and your own apprentice. And next in later years, but you and your brother are my pride, Annie." he said and Anakin smiled gently. "Love you too Father, see you and brother when you get here." he said to him smiling.
"Watto, I understand here, but I'm going to have to consider a gamble here with the queen's ship, only she's not considering. The Next Damaged Pod, Creating The Lightsaber-Anakin's POV:
It was the following week after another blown race, he stood there with his mother, pretending to be his twin. "Do you any idea of how much this will cost me, boy do you." he said sternly and as he pretended to his twin Andy then. "It wasn't my fault, Sebulba flashed me with his vents, he cheated!" he said and Watto nodded sternly. "Of course he cheats, he always cheats, that's how he wins, maybe you should try to every now and again, maybe then you wouldn't."
"In truth, keep crashing your podracer time after time and cost me so much money, your brother is more careful, but I should stop letting you swap turns, I should just leave it to Annie. Before you crash one more time and put yourself into a need for a healer." he said sternly to him and he felt a flinch inside him at the recrimination, and jolt of jealousy. "It's always Annie, Annie this, Annie that, why is he so popular!' he felt through a haze of jealousy at that.
"I'll repair it Watto, it's my job in truth here." Anakin said and he smiled in affection then. "Yes I know Annie, you are good boy, I want you to see what parts are needed to be replaced. So if necessary, you take it with you, if we got company, and repair it under their supervision. We use your's and you are my pilot for the Boonta Eve now." he said and Anakin nodded gently. "Mom, it's okay, I can do this, now that my force skills are unlocked." he said and she nodded smiling.
"Uncle Dave said, just apply the force to my piloting, use my instincts, and it's worked so far, but every time we switch positions, it's resulting in this. I think it's time I followed through on the entire race, as the announcer said, slightly out of my mind. If Sebulba latches on, but it's because I'm waiting till the right minute to put the speed on, before he kills us both." he said and she nodded with a bemused smile, as he nodded smiling, as she said it for both of them.
"You be careful Annie, one too many crashes in the last year alone, I know you're doing that on purpose, so any that carry a red lightsaber don't know the tremendous power you carry." she said and then he said it then. "But I should stop letting you race for me, Andrus, I should leave it to Annie, or I should find another driver." Watto said and he felt a jolt of pain at that, knowing his twin felt rejected at that, simply because he never learned to apply the force to his piloting.
"I think this is a very good idea, Anakin should be the only one raising right now, he's a Jedi padawan, he can use the force, but Andy never unlocked his own powers. So only Annie, as for this, we're close, but the only way to make this work, as Dave said, stop gambling. Before you lose everything, but you supply the podracer and Anakin, he supplies the entry fee." she said and he nodded. "Agreed, I will do that, and thank you, Shmi." he said and she nodded gently.
"Almost dark, so you have work to do, but after checking what supplies are needed now, you head home Annie, and you, Andrus, clean up the yard. But you are forbidden from podracing for me as of now." he said and he felt his alter ego nod sadly. "Mom, I have to check the fields, because we got the Raiders coming too close again." he said and she nodded. "Very well, I want you home at 1800." she said and he nodded as he walked into the yard to check the racer then.
"Jeesh Andy, you're getting too darn reckless, that stunt resulted in another crash, alright that's enough of this already, from now on, I'm doing the piloting." he said and then switched voices then. "You, why you exactly, we're totally equal in everything." he said and Anakin crossed his arms. "Yes but you don't have the training to utilize the force, to pilot, but you're beyond hot tempered and quick to anger, clear head and control your emotions here."
"You want to get a good report and evaluation with the council, don't you, then control your emotions, discipline your mind." he said as he took apart the racer to check the damage and sighed. "Thermal veristats and thruster relays, coolant pipes, blast it, alright I got to trade for those or I can…, Watto!" he called out and he came outside. "There are three parts in the racer you don't carry, I can fix that and take it with me, we use mine." he said and Watto nodded.
"So when you get chosen to meet the council, you fix and update it for me, as you sell your pod and if he sells it to Sebulba, lesson is piloting cleanly?" he asked and Anakin nodded gently then. "I'm giving up podracing at 15 years old to focus on my training now, but it's time, mom's right, once I repair it, if you need me to pilot every now and again. I will, but I need to focus on my training and my future." he said to him gently and Watto nodded gently in understanding then.
"I understand Annie, you been my very best pilot, and I will miss you alot, but your destiny is padawan, being a Jedi." he said and he nodded. "That's it exactly, but I can fix this, and you use mine in the race a few weeks, the Harvester is the big one. But we're shutting them all down all at once now, before we get another raid now. But this should do it now, but we got work to do, before this results in a blow back right now." he said and he nodded gently to that remark.
As he left them and he sat there working as he looked around to make sure nobody was watching and pulled out the pieces to create his new lightsaber as he went into a trance. Before seeing it happen again then, as he saw the Zabrak that killed his father. 'Why do you resist your anger, your hate at me, you know you want to.' he asked and he said it sternly. "There we go, Padawan, passed the test you have, after 3 years training and ready you are for advanced padawan training, I promise, and very powerful Jedi, will you be." he said gently and his counterpart nodded. "Annie created his lightsaber, and appears to be now, it does, just like you, Adi, Mace, he is one or the other in your colors." he said and they smiled. "So he's a very young Master Guardian in training, starting at 6 years old and in 3 years he mastered it."
"Well I think if you felt that, then our young protege just created his lightsaber, but he's a baby, with so much to learn still right now, Master Yoda." Jedi Master Mace Windu said and he nodded. "Very powerful Jedi he is, very strong in the living force, but carrying a shadow of pain in him, like failed us he had, in another life." he said and they nodded in agreement. "Well if he has, it's connected to some mistake in sum years, if I was with him at the time." Mace said to him then.
Just as the radio switched on and they saw a hologram of a youngling standing there, looking like their other students and his class. "Padawan Skywalker reporting in Master, I just finished my lightsaber. I am indeed a Master Guardian, looks like I'm purple, currently my color is amethyst. The training has had me reach my clan's stage in less time then we thought, but the detour, if it results in having Obi-wan arrive on my planet."
"I'm ready and I can put them up for a couple nights, before the race." he said and Mace nodded smiling in approval. "Hello padawan, nice to meet you, I am Jedi Master Mace Windu, this is my counterpart Adi Gallia, and our friends." he said and the boy nodded smiling."You too Masters Windu, Gallia, Masters Jedi, just reporting in to alert you now. Master, during construction, I had our assailant jump into my vision, while constructing it right now."
"He's a Zabrak, with a red and black tatooed face, and his eyes reddish gold, the Nightbrothers are back." he said and Mace nodded sternly. "If they're back, then as are the Sith right now, if that's explaining the unexplained disturbance. When in the force we just had right now, what your father is preparing to tell us." he said and Anakin nodded. "Well you got to me first, before they came here, I had his version of you now, Master Yoda."
"Show up here, it was a MUUN, also with gold eyes, that must mean our Zabrak's mentor, is our phantom menace, hiding in the shadows. He must be behind our rescue mission on wherever the team went this time." he said and Yoda nodded sternly. "Thank you for alerting me Annie." he said and Anakin nodded gently. "Yes Master, but I hit a time delay, I found enough crystals to create 255 lightsabers, most are red, though."
"But 60 each of the three colors we utilize, my owner has enough supplies for you, if your lightsabers need a fast repair job." he said and they nodded, smiling. "Thank you for the warning and you are right to be worried right now, we have a difference of opinion. When in senate over a trade deal right now, that Chancellor Valorum ordered a team of Jedi. To force a settlement, if this results in a bigger problem, they're coming to you." he said to him gently.
"Which planet exactly, if they need to refuel and repair the ship?" he asked and Yoda answered that. "Naboo, the planet is Annie, but like your training lightsaber, want you to practice with the real one, till get used to it now, you do." he said and Anakin nodded. "Yes Master I will, training's going fine here right now, I'm just about ready. To come to you." he said and Yoda nodded. "Understand I do, but patience." he said and Anakin nodded.
"I understand, well it's not just me, but my twin, and unfortunately I got evidence here to back up Master Jinn's claim, the mentor of our phantom menace dropped by. And I spotted him talking to Andy, my brother Andrus, but too late you got to me first." he said and the council nodded. "Very well padawan, we will see you when you arrive here, see you soon." Mace said gently to him. "You too Master." he said and it ended then.
"Kids right now, with the younglings, they got 4 to 5 years before they have start growing up now, and at the moment 3/4's of his class are just like Anakin. I think it's time the others do their gathering now and we split his class into groups of 5 in his class." Jedi Master Ki Adi Mundi said and Mace and Yoda nodded in agreement then. "Well Anakin, chosen by Obi-wan he was now, that knowing Qui-Gon we do, that Qui-Gon asks to be mentor." he said and they nodded.
"Well in this case, best we match ourselves, but we're partnering up Qui' and me with Damon and Tiana and Clee." Adi said and Yoda nodded in agreement. "Agreed, so best it is, to start mini creche training and get the teams their own training, ring we do. So Adi, upon his return, revealing, that you, he, Tiana, Damon and Clee are a training team, we are. And your chosen junior padawans, are his squadron, if choose a call sign, they do." he said and she nodded.
"Master, I think that maybe Jacen's grandson, if he's that strong." Jedi Master Depa Billaba said and he nodded. "He is indeed, Leia and Davish trained him themselves that is why." he said and Mace nodded in agreement. "So baby got creche training, but wherever he grew up, is too hot or too cold right now and he needs a temperate climate. Well looks like he gained the training our currents learn at becoming full time padawans." Jedi Master Yarael Poof said and he nodded.
"Or worse, his mind from sum years into the future, that which used to be a Jedi turned Sith, turned Jedi is back in his youngling body, meaning. We grant you only 2 racers, after that you're retired and and you control your other hobby, okay." he said and they got an affirmative jolt and Yoda nodded in approval then. Back on Tatooine, Anakin nodded smiling at the reveal, knowing though they never met him yet, they accepted him immediately as one of them. 'Okay I get the harvester and the Galactic games and after that I'm retired and I can scavenge the equipment to restock the lab. Andy's lightsaber And Bartering-Anakin's POV:
After getting his right on the first try, he pretended to be Andy then, as he sped up the creation, before he heard a droning. "Oh my god, the crystals are out of focus, Andy get out of the way." he shouted as he quickly backed up 30 feet and covered his head, as the lightsaber exploded, looking at the mess on the floor, he nodded. "Jeez Andy you out of your mind, Uncle Dave said not to speed up working on it." he shouted sternly as he checked it then, and dumped it out.
As he saw cherry red crystals shards slide out. "Did you steal the crystals I was going to get for Master Yoda, this is not Jedi behavior!" he said sternly and he swallowed hard as Shmi walked in then. "He tried to imitate me in building one mom, but the flux aperture was out of focus with the power cell and went off, he stole the red crystals I was going to give Master Yoda." he said and she nodded sternly at the news. "You are so lucky, young man." she said and they said it.
"Young man, I absolutely forbid you from doing this again, it takes years, of patience and understanding, maturity to get it right on the first try. But you don't have his training, he's more skilled, but after you decided to skip out on doing your assigned task. I'm not thinking twice on this, you're on restriction till further notice, you go to that shop, you come home. No racing, no fooling around, you can waste time with your friends once your chores are done, Andrus."
"Now clean this up right now." she said sternly, and he felt a jolt of pain at her remark, as his alter ego looked down then, and nodded as he got to work then in cleaning up. "Watto has me doing an errand for him tomorrow, bartering for some stuff right now. So I'll be back before sundown." he said and she nodded. I want you back, before sundown." he said and Anakin nodded gently to him as he loaded it into his speeder and flew to the meeting site, as he went over what he knew then as he said it to him. "No want to be cut, leave me, but grow from cub, into adult Jedi wizard, with me wand, me trained, so no dangerous movement." he said and they nodded as he kept the wand up and they gave him a wide berth, as he headed for the speeder. And flew back to the shop and Watto flew out then gently as he saw the haul and smiled gently.
"Nicely done Annie, this is plenty right now." he said and Anakin nodded smiling as they settled in and waited for the team and Padme to arrive then…..
