The Chosen One's Jedi Quest I: The Phantom Menace
Disclaimers: the characters don't belong to me, the story belongs to me, everything else belongs to the author and the creator of the movies.
Warnings: With this chapter it's going to jump over 20% of the return to Naboo, and go right to saving Qui-Gon, after Anakin lands back in the hanger. So from here, the story-line had Qui-Gon involved fully in Anakin's life with Obi-wan. And as he spends his entire 13 years a Jedi, as his alter ego becomes Darth Vader. So Anakin becomes the true Chosen One, Andy, Darth Vader becomes a Sith and it becomes his version.
To his heirs' war against each other, in the last chapter of the Skywalker family 60 years from then. This story is going to use the theoretical from my other story, as the Jedi Quest novels. And are as though Anakin and Vader are two separate beings. As the Jedi know that Vader is a separate entity to Anakin's personality. And see him as the Chosen One, but are training Anakin in secret here, as the lightsaber implication.
Is Vader, and everything that involved the darkside was Vader, Anakin himself grows up to be the perfect Jedi padawan, as they all graduate at 27 to 29.
Chapter 12: The Mission Begins And Close Calls II
"That's the entire story now, alright everything from now to then, after we lost you, and..." Tahiri Kaneberrie started to say and he put them into two sides, along with the prologue, and the quartet focused on Melida/Daan then, and Mace nodded. "The opening is him, but you killed Krayne, before the immediate mission directly after you got me back was Melida/Daan. Joint mission, the 5 of us went to get mother." Siri said and Adi nodded nodded in agreement then.
"And there we go right now, that's the first joint mission we had as we were in separate missions for the next 3 years, before combining together as one. But the clan was split into 4's and 5's and we got partnered up with Garen and Dane, therefore Master Clee as a result." Anakin said and he nodded gently, as Clee nudged Qui-Gon in the shoulder and he smiled at her and Mace hid a chuckle, knowing why then, as he healed from losing their third gently.
"But after the incident with Melida/Daan, the council decided not happening twice and your fear was understandable, as they chose between teams. Tru and I, we met the night before, and were talking mechanics, as we came across a new processor brain that Ali's helper droid needed. After a run in with some mechanical rubbish snatchers, as the next morning gave a case of why Tru was coming with us, till I saw the other teams, and then saw Siri and realized it finally."
"To prevent another Melida/Daan, the council decided on permanent team pair ups here, breaking my clan into 3's, 4's, and 5, out of 30 students in my class. And the trio were my squadron now, before I saw Clee and Garen and realized Dane was the last. That's my entire squadron, the guys and Darra now, in our side of my class. Obi-wan gave me a slightly watered down version of what happened from Melida/Daan to Telos now." he said and Qui-Gon nodded.
"So your ring of friends are my partner pair up, my best friend, next to Mace and our counterpart pair up: the Calrissian/Attana and Merrin/Gaul units, okay. I understand and that helps now in truth, the five of you are going to be a handful growing up. Even though the teams are still currently 2, before you all become padawans next." Qui-Gon said and he nodded. "Well the piloting program just reactivated right now." he said and Qui-Gon nodded as Garen smiled.
"We're going on 10 and 12 here, but though padawans, we still act like younglings right now, but young adults trapped in our preteen bodies, but second chance. And really get to enjoy it now, because nothing here is, having a second chance to try it. I got my friends back, healing my heart and soul by fixing past mistakes, make the bonds even stronger. I never wanted anything more right now." he said and Mace smiled at his remark as he looked at him then.
"Expecting trouble?" Tru asked and Anakin smiled. "No, not right now I'm not, then again, the Sith never know when to stop, but we clone ourselves of the next 3 generations. Because those clones are fast growing, the babies, that we have here at the time of the purge. And we're good to go." he said and he nodded in agreement to that. "Yeah alright boys, we're not doing this right now." Obi-wan said with an amused smile and the quartet nodded with a chuckle then.
"Now that we know you decided he wasn't the chosen one, but his alter ego is, he has friends immediately, just another one in our clan, we just keep the science. And mechanical projects, under control, before they blow the door off its hinges right now." Tru said and he nodded with an amused smile at that. "Indeed, and hear another out of you 5 I do, lose mechanical projects for a week to 2 you do boys, Darra, under control, keep it." Yoda said with an amused smile.
"Well this is us in miniature form now, guys." Soara said and Siri and the trio nodded with a laugh at that. "And we're not doing this all day, when they get the 4 of us up there, as your uncle recovers, young lady, from the injury." Damon said to her at that remark and Clee closed her eyes as she tried to keep from laughing at that. "Guys, is now the best time for this right now, they ship out in 30 minutes." Adi said and they nodded as Tru hid a laugh at that gently.
"Yeah okay so you and I realized the blast knocked it out of his hand, Tiana, Damon and I said for you to tell them we had to check it, if necessary we're leaving now. So we go on that boys, okay, I know you're desperate to graduate with the rest of the team. But though a padawan, in many ways to me, Damon and your mothers, still our baby boys and girls." Qui-Gon said and they nodded as they hid a smile at the title, knowing he meant it, as they went on that.
"Love you too, Mother" "Father" they said together and the quintet looked at their youngest padawans as the adult exchanged smiles gently. "We start training with our mentors now, you, so we're learning our new training from 9, and till we're 27. Alright so we get 18 years with you, mentor and parental now, that's great, but until I'm ready to let go. I stay at your side, Father, my brother, I stay with you!" Anakin said and he smiled with a look of love at him then gently,
"I love you too son, you and your brother are my pride, the future I leave behind now." he said and he nodded as Tru left his elbow on his shoulder. "What are we looking at here?" Darra asked him and he explained that. "When your brothers and sisters were your age, that's 13, we had my ex apprentice corrupt Obi-wan's rival Bruck Chun. While he was on Melida/Daan, seems that his son, your version, swore vengeance baby." he said and she nodded to him gently then.
"Got worse guys, my missions recreated themselves into a new format for you, including Zan Arbor and Xanatos." Obi-wan explained and she nodded as she gripped Anakin's hand. "Well that explains why he knew you on sight, aged 15 to 20 years, but still you." Ferus said and he nodded. "Yes still me and again this information needs to become public knowledge in the teams Master Yoda." he said and Yoda nodded. "Then so be it." he said and they sighed in relief then.
"Uh guys, this one has Annie's face with a boy that looks like the double of Obi-wan's version, in fact the girl and the boy match his version exactly. And Annie is in the exact same position, right now." Darra said and they looked at it. "That's Cerasi and Nield, his friends on….." Garen's padawan started to say and felt his heart start sinking, realizing what the book quartet really was then. "Mom, please tell this doesn't mean what I think?" he asked and she sighed gently.
"Please tell me that Melida/Daan is not one of them, Annie chose us, he's not staying there alone!" Dane Van Perril said and Obi-wan looked down with a sigh and they nodded in fury. "No, no I'm not just leaving him there, Mom, Master, he chose us, we're 12 to 13 by then. Without an adult, we can't make it alone!" he said in anger and they sighed. "Dane we understand, but this is Sidious's plan, we play along till Omega's demise." she said and he nodded sadly at the news.
"The 11 of us stuck it out together for 10 years that the one time we got to separate is the time we got outside sources now interfering. We spent years together, we fixed our problems, made our bonds stronger, the 4 of us are so tightly bonded. That your idea of doing double teams was meant to prevent this from happening at all, that while you talk business. We got someone our own age to hang around with now, in both age groups." Tru said sadly and the adult 4 nodded.
"This remind you of anything though, Obi-wan?" Siri said to Obi-wan and he nodded. "Yeah and a year later, but difference is, instead of leaving immediately she told me to stay. And as I went under Adi's command, till I got my mentor back, but we just got you back. And then a back to back mission now, but this is too much right now, the 4 of us have father. Now arriving, alerting us that we had another Melida/Daan and I'm praying, after he just had to kill in self defense."
"His scales get weighed down by down at the moment, till Adi helps him find his center again, before he makes my mistake." he said and they nodded. "And bad side effect when your parents age group is between 40 to 55 years old in the next age group up. And the youngest of our teams are entering preteen, but we're ready for the finishing touch on our team generations, but they had 10 years of one side of the force, now for the final 7 to 8 in the other side of it now."
"And with Ferus out of commission after this trip to Korriban, Anakin is taking that position, he also needs to put further balance back in his life by then. So directly after hearing his dreams of his mother started, I'm checking on it immediately, and the senator. She's coming with him right now, as they go investigate what caused him to nearly crash the speeder. After taking care of that, they're staying on Naboo, before getting in range, on Tatooine, and we send everyone."
"That we cloned to the planet, so every Jedi Dooku murdered by the battle, going there, and after 8 years steady stream, we've completed the temple on Dagobah. And a second a few kilometers away from the rebel base on Yavin IV, but you were right. The republic was sick, and had to die, and the old ways die with them and we start anew." Adi said and Qui-Gon nodded. "Well the only way to get that truth was the adult version of my son." he said and she nodded.
"I know Padme would say this now, after I said I hate the Sith for separating us, but to be angry and to hate is human, but to us, to control those is to be a Jedi. And with that in mind, we just wait for him to contact us, then the 3 of us together go to get him. If Tru is on mission at the time he comes home." Darra said and Dane nodded. "Going to be close, but rather then eating what they had, we're bringing along 2 to 4 months worth of food." Ferus said in response gently.
"Joint mission we both got swayed here into wanting to stay, but you snapped to immediately, me: my levels got leveled out by your mother. As to that, we went into 2 different areas and you were with Roenni and Deila's daughters, I was with the twins. But we had to distract the Elders that decided to start the wars again, just to create a distraction. Making them think the Young First decided on gearing up again, we're the Young Second." Anakin said to him then.
"Take off 4 letters of youngling, it becomes young, we're teenage younglings right now, and our parental age group know things switched back after 16 years here." Ferus said and he nodded. "And to repeat that right now boys, the planet is holding a lot of anger and hate, but the current leaders of the Young offered us a place to stay till we get your mother back. I know it's tempting to want to considered to leave, but you must resist right." Qui-Gon said and the duo nodded.
As they went on that. "We made friends with the children of Obi-wan's friends, but you trying to take my place, it will not work, so just wait for me to contact you bro, okay." he said and Ferus nodded with a sigh. "I know I just hate having to leave you there, we both got involved, and yet the one that they're demanding to stay, alone is you, you're a just turned 13 year old." He said and Anakin nodded sternly as he nodded to Qui-Gon and Yoda and they nodded…..
Return Of The Defenders Of The Dead-Anakin's POV:
As the trio pretended to head into an alcove so they could discuss this and got on the radio with Yoda and as Yoda appeared in a holographic image of himself."Relieved I am that to hear this news, concerned I am that Adi's health is ailing. Needs care, she does." he said and the duo nodded. "We'll leave as soon as she is stronger and it is safe, but I leave a situation here on Melida/Daan that is very volatile."
"That one wrong move can result in an inferno of violence here." he said and Yoda nodded to him. "What is the situation, that Cerasi, Nield and Wehutti asked you to returned, they have. And what of Ferus, same situation as your Padawan, know that Jedi knight, you are now. But concerned for you I am, of relapse now that back on their planet, you are?" he asked and Obi-wan sighed as he said it then.
"Looks like the wars started up again, what's left of the elders that disagreed with the Young first and the middle generation. The ones that decided to call a cease fire have pulled back that claim, going by what I heard from my friends. The wars are over keeping the remaining halls of evidence going, but this has resulted in asecondary revolution." Obi-wan told him and he nodded to him gently.
"I'm keeping it together, but my place is at Master's side now, like it is at your side, but frankly and I saw the look on Ferus's face. Once the twins, Deila and the others showed us the damage done since the renegade elders started up again. Like me he grew up in the temple, if it was Anakin, he would've stayed strong, he grew up in the real world." he said and Yoda nodded gently to him.
"Heard you I have Qui-Gon, Obi-wan, but remind you I must that neither the Melida or the Daan have asked for our help. Almost sacrificed one Jedi to stabilize situation twice now, willing to sacrifice three more, I am not." he said and Qui-Gon nodded. "We can bring Adi back and then return." he said Yoda sighed as he answered him. "Before the council you must go." he told him gently at that.
"Make this decision on my own I can not, cared for Adi must be then decide we will, if help we must give. Until then, taking side, the Jedi must not do, jeopardize peace it would. Avoid you must in angering either side." he said and Obi-wan tried to control his annoyance at himself and knew Qui-Gon thought this too. 'Like always he has a point, already the Melida would be angry right now.'
'To hear that the Jedi broke into their barracks and if word gets out that Ferus and Anakin had gone out on the raid in Daan territory. Then that would anger the Daan now in truth here.' he thought as Qui-Gon said it for both of them gently. "We hope to find Adi ready by tomorrow, we wil return soon Master." he said and Yoda nodded to him. "Look forward to that day, I will." The Jedi grandmaster said to him gently at that.
Ending the radio call at that Qui-Gon looked at him. "What are we thinking here?" he asked and Obi-wan crossed his arms as he explained that to him."That with the fact this war started that we need to stay out of this right now. This war started because the renegade elders were humiliated here. And that my generation humiliated them, and they are trying to save what's left of the halls now."
"I also think it would be best that we do it now, Anakin's balance is being thrown off right now, that we don't leave. And soon, and those scales are going to land on a single side, Anakin's balance got thrown off. The trauma I had is bad enough already without adding this too it, but for him, it's even worse. And after the mission to Sekot right now, we have to leave and soon." he said and Qui-Gon nodded in agreement.
"Agreed, well time to determine that, if he answers the way you did that tells me he's just been hijacked." he said and Obi-wan nodded. 'Anakin don't do this, you already have a life and home, your place is with us, at the temple, at home on the farm with your parents, and Owen. Remember brother remember, the balance, remember.' he thought softly as he called out to the younger boy gently at that.
"Anakin, Ferus could you come here please!" he called out and they made it sound like he came running. "Yes Master?" they said together and Qui-Gon said it gently. "The council has ordered us to return to the temple, we leave tomorrow." he said and Anakin looked at him in shock to that. 'Here it comes, hopefully I don't have to go into the same debate with him now.' he thought as the boy said it in shock.
"Go back, we can't go back, we can't leave the Young now, they need us." Ferus said and Qui-Gon said it gently at that. "We have received no official request to stabilize the planet, perhaps back on Coruscant the Jedi council will-." he started to say and Ferus interrupted him. "We can't wait for the council to review this." he said as he shook his head as Obi-wan quoted the next remark with him mentally at that.
"If we wait too long the Melida and the Daan will reharm, the time to act is now." Anakin said and Obi-wan said it sharply to that remark. "Anakin, Ferus, listen to us." he said sternly to him as he went further, before Qui-Gon said it for both of them."Yoda has directed us to come back, Adi needs care..." he started to say and Anakin interrupted him again, as the duo were watching him carefully at that and his answer then.
"She needs rest and med care, we can get that for her here, Roenni can tell me where to go, we can bring a medic here. Or find a place to keep her that would be safe-." Ferus started to say and Qui-Gon said it to him then gently. "No, she must be brought back to the temple, but we can do no more here, padawan, we will leave tomorrow." he said and Anakin tried another angle at that remark quickly then.
"Part of our mission was try to stabilize the situation, we haven't done that yet, but we can if we stay." he said and Obi-wan answered that one to him. "We have not been asked..." he started to say and Anakin blurted it out desperately. "We have, by the Young." he said and Qui-Gon said it sternly. "That is not an official request." he said as he tried to control his patience, as the boy was pushing him too hard firmly.
'Young man don't, don't go there, I see what this is doing to you, but you're not thinking straight right now, son. Remember you got a life and cause already, fight this son, you're letting this influence you too much right now. So enough, everything you think you found here you already have right now.' he thought as he heard the remark that he heard from Obi-wan then sternly at that remark.
"You have broken the rules before, Qui-Gon, back on Gala, you left us to travel the hills when you were ordered to stay in the palace. You break the rules when it suits you to do so." he said and that did it finally as Obi-wan said it firmly, as he chose to not meet the boy's anger with his own then as he said it for him then as he looked at the boy gently but sternly at that remark then firmly at that.
'Brother don't, you already have everything you thought you found here.' he thought softly as he answered him then. "We don't break the rules because it when it suits us, but because at times the rules get in the way, but that is not the case now, we believe Yoda is correct." he said sternly and Anakin tried one last time at that remark as he said it again then quickly then.
"But." he started to say and Qui-Gon held up his hand in finality at that attempt to stall it a little longer. "Tomorrow we will leave, padawan." he said and Soara took charge as she pretended to be Cerasi's daughter then as he watched him standing there, anger pouring from every cell as she said it to them. "It is official, in the absence of a response to our request for peace,we have a declaration on the Elders."
"If they do not agree immediately to Melida/Daan peace negotiations, we will attack them with their own weapons, they must respond to us now."she said as she finished that remark as she looked at Anakin gently as she finished that. "We need you more then ever now." she said and Qui-Gon sighed as he answered that for as his padawan was to furious to say anything then to her or her twin.
"I'm sorry Roenni, we leave tomorrow." he said and she nodded in shock and anger at that, as he stood there, moving away from her, he moved into a section of the tunnel so he could think then as he thought it over then carefully. 'What do I do right now, there's being normal and being a Jedi, but I was normal when I was with them, how am I supposed to manage this.' Anakin thought sadly as he tried to hold it in then.
After the argument between him and the duo, Anakin tried to clear his thoughts, as he stared at the quartet as he thought it over. 'I was not Anakin Skywalker padawan learner with them, I was just Anakin, but what is happening to me.' He thought shaking at this, as he felt his resolve start leaning to his left side as he carefully shuffled through each piece of advice from Mace, Adi and Yoda nodded gently.
'I stay and I am no longer a padawan now, but I leave, and I go home with them, my team and partner team. But ordered to stay and I have no choice in the matter right now, no choice in the matter. But my place is with them, I don't belong here, yes my friendship with the twins and their friends is strong, but I have just as strong a friendship with my own clan, and my friends on Tatooine.'
'Created a new life out of the old one, but I have a planet, cause, home and family already.' he thought as he felt his confusion start to fade then as he pulled a picture of the sextet out and as he looked at it softly. 'Everything I thought I found here, I have already, I am a Jedi, all I need is distance and time for reflection.' he thought softly feeling his inner scales start leveling out then as, hearing that, Qui-Gon turned to him.
'Oops, left my mental door open again.' he heard and hid a chuckle to that, looking at him gently at that, he knew he was starting to remember now. 'Yes I heard that padawan, I understand, but remember, you created a new life out of the old one after I took you on as my cub padawan 3 years ago, it's okay, it's okay, I understand how confusing this is, but it's going to be okay.'he thought softly at that as he watched him gently.
'Everything I think I found here, I already have now, need time and space, and time for reflection, go home, my place now. My place is with Father and Ben, my Jedi trio, my family, took me in, started training me, three years. And nothing could ever get between us, till now, and said is my other self, fight it, have to fight it, I am a Jedi, my place is with the quartet, the temple is home.'
'Go home, home, my home is at the temple and Tatooine, Naboo, I'm engaged to the queen, but my other imprint. My imprint is my best friend at the temple, the girls, my friends, my mother, stepfather, my brothers, my Jedi family. The balance, balance, Master guardian, I'm master guardian, always about balance, my balance is being screwed around with right now, mother, Siri, Uncle Mace.'
'My place is with the quintet, the temple is home, where I belong now, I don't belong here, my place is there at the temple, at his side, my place is with them the deepest commitment and the most serious mind. Deepest commitment: to my team, most serious mind: I must commit completely to that partnership, 100%.' he thought as the confusion started fading and to cold hard certainty as he said it to himself then at that.
'Remember, when making a choice, that make it for the silent ones at your shoulder you do,' yes I get it. I make this choice. And I make it for the rest of my age group, whoever never said it, this is what he meant. I stay I'm no longer a padawan. I leave and I stay with them and continue my training.' he thought as the meaning of what Yoda taught him punched through the uncertainty and as he thought it firmly at that.
'There it is now right now, stay I lose my position as their padawan, and everything I ever worked for, but go, and I stay with my family. And forever, but then..., one violation of trust, can't do this anymore, I have to, I have to tell them what they asked of me, but ordered to stay. No, no don't want to stay, don't make me stay here, I don't belong here, my place is at the temple, my friends, my team, mother."
'I can't leave them and I won't, I just have to complete one last mission for the Young Second then we can go home. I just got to take it to father, mother and the council, I can do both and then go home. My mission is to get mother out, I can do both and still be a padawan now.' he said softly and then got up and moved to the duo.
Just as he was getting up his conlink activated. "Skywalker." he said and Dave said it gently. "Anakin as one of the representatives of the planets lining the Outer Rim we decided for Jedi assistance in case this war in Melida/Daan jumps off the planet. But we need someone who understands this after the last war so far." he said and Anakin said it, feeling his heart sinking then as he answered him then gently.
"I don't understand." he said as they heard a fast remark to that. 'No don't say you want me to stay, I don't belong here, my place is with my team.' they heard and they heard it. "As the only Jedi growing up on the outside, we want you to stay there and deal with the rebel Elders, and help with the clean up." he said and Anakin said it quickly at the remark as he looked at her in fear then as he felt his heart break.
"I just made up mind and you're telling me you want me to stay, I'm only 12, I can't stay here without my team, I want to go home." he said quickly and they heard a gentle tone to that. "It's only for a few weeks son, then you can go home, but we have to end this between them, before we get caught in the middle and the Jedi already did." he said and Anakin nodded as he tried to control his voice.
"I understand, but I got to talk to the others, so stand by right now, Skywalker out." he said and turned it off, as he deactivated it. 'No, no I don't want to stay here, I want to go home, how do I get out of this. I got to tell them what they're ordering me to do. The council can get me out of this, but I'm going home, I'm not staying here, I'm going home.' they heard and Mace felt his heart tear at that remark.
"What happened?" Ferus asked him softly, as he sat next to him then and he swallowed hard then. "The senate is demanding a Jedi rep stay on the planet, they chose me." he said and he straightened. "You, why just you, why not both of us, we both got involved without the say so of the quartet?!" he asked and he nodded. "Sidious, he's trying to get me to brush the darkside." he said to him and he nodded as he pulled him into his side then.
"If we have to leave tomorrow then we do, but I'm not just leaving without you, we gave them a fighting chance, our mission is over time and to go home." he said and he nodded as he leaned into his side and buried his head into his shoulder. "Spread out, we have to talk to the Young Second, if we can organize one last mission. Give them a fighting chance, we can leave, but I need counsel with your mother." he said and Ferus nodded.
'Indeed, listen to me, that boy has a life already, he's a youngling still, he's too young to be alone on a planet always in a warzone. But you people have done enough damage to us, you're not leaving my godson traumatized, because he got stuck there, blast it.' he thought sternly as Anakin looked at the duo as he got up then as he walked over to them quickly moved to them gently as he said it to them that.
"I wanted to say good bye now, we'll be leaving early in the morning, I'm sorry I can't stay to help you, I want to." he said and they nodded to him. "We understand, you must obey your elder." he said and he sighed then. "It's not obedience as much as respect." he said and they heard a sigh. 'Even in my ears that's a lame excuse.' they heard to his remark to them as she answered his statement to that.
As she said her opinion on that firmly. "Ah my trouble is that I never understood this respect thing, my grandfather told me what was right. And he was always wrong, what does it matter, he'd say whether thousands die or millions die. The sky is still blue over head and our world remains, the cause is what's important. And so your Jedi boss tells you what you must do and you do it."
"Even though you know he's wrong, and that is called respect." she said and sighed as she finished saying it then. "Maybe I've been living in the dark too long, but I don't see it." she said and he sighed. 'Great she's forcing me to question my own beliefs right now now, life as a Jedi was like a shimmering pool of clean water, but now she's muddied it, and clouding my beliefs with doubt.'
'There must be something I can do here right now.' he thought and the council crossed his arms at that. "I would help if I could, if there was something I knew I could do that could make a difference." he said and Roenni and Nield exchanged looks. 'Uh oh, this better not mean what I think, my job is getting her out, all else comes second.' they heard and Mace nodded gently at that remark.
"What is it." he said and she nodded. "We do have a plan." she said and he nodded as he leaned his head closer to them so they could discuss this. "Tell me." he said and she explained that to him then gently then. "You know that there are deflection towers ringing the perimeter of the city, there are also towers around the Melida center, these towers control the particle shields, preventing entry."
"And separating the Melida and the Daan sides?" she said and he nodded to her. "Yes I've seen them." he said and Nield put his head close to his as he answered him then as they put their heads together then. "We've been in contact with the Young Second outside the city, I've sent a message to them telling them. That we have succeeded in capturing the weapons of both Melida and Daan."
"But there are several destroyed villages ringing the city, many of the children live there, or the countryside, hundreds, thousands now. If we take a wider area, they are all connected by a network, if we destroy the particle shields they will march into Zehava." he said and Ferus nodded as he answered him gently at the remark then at this news then, before he could though Roenni finished that.
"And they have the weapons." she added and he nodded as she went further then gently. "We would have an army now, so not only would the Elders be outnumbered,they would have nothing to fight with We could win a war and without one death. If we are careful and the elders are smart enough to surrender." she said and Ferus nodded as he answered her at the remark as he looked between them gently.
"It sounds like a good plan, but how are you going to knock out the deflection towers here?" he asked and she sighed. "That's our problem, they can only destroyed by air, all we need air transport." he said and she finished that remark gently at that remark then. "We can't use the floaters, the deflection towers have defensive systems, floaters are not fast enough or agile enough."
"We need a starfighter." she said and Anakin straightened."We know you flew some sort of fast transport to Melida/Daan, could you fly us on the mission." she said and he inhaled at that as they heard the next remark then at this news then firmly at that remark then. 'First the Outer Rim planets are asking me to stay here and now they ask this of me as well, how much more can they take from me.'
'She and Nield are asking a great deal of me right now, but this would go beyond a padawan's disobedience for breaking rules. It would defy Master Yoda himself right now, Obi-wan and Qui-Gon would be well within their sights to send me back to the temple. I would probably have to appear before the council, and they have the right to dismiss me as their padawan.' they heard as Nield said it to him then.
"Wait, you're asking a great deal of both of us right now, as not only would this break the most absolute law of being a padawan. That making this choice would defy even our Order's grand mentor." Ferus said sternly as he came to sit next to Anakin then. "Our ship was on loan by the the Republic, without it, we can't leave at all." Anakin said and she sighed as she said it it then, before her brother said it for her then.
"We can leave at dawn, the mission would only take an hour, maybe a little more, then you can take Adi to Coruscant." he said and she finished that."The destruction of the particle shield will actually make it easier for you to smuggle Adi out of Zehava." she added and he sighed as he said it to them as he looked between them as he said it to them at this remark then firmly at her remark then. "Ferus?" he said and Ferus nodded sternly.
"But if the starfighter is damaged it would mean we can't leave at all, and doom our mission to failure, and perhaps make me responsible for my mother's death." he said and she sighed as she answered him then as she said it then gently. "It was wrong for me to mock you before, I know the Jedi code guides the way you live, and we know we're asking too much from you right now."
"If we weren't this desperate, we wouldn't do it, you have already done so much for us." she said and Ferus nodded to her. "As you have done for us, we would never have rescued my mother, if not for you." he said and she nodded to him gently at that remark. "It is our only chance for peace, once the Elders see our numbers they will have no choice, but to surrender." he said and Ferus sighed as he looked at the trio then.
'I owe them so much right now, they fought alongside me, even saved my life, we have a bond.' they heard, before they heard a sigh. 'But I have a bond with Roenni and Nield as well now, the shortness of the time doesn't matter, the current of connection is nothing I ever experienced. And even though Roenni apologized for mocking me, isn't there a small gram of truth in there?'
'Is it right to obey when my heart is telling me it's wrong right now.' he thought as he looked into her eyes then gently as he saw the compassion in them, as he saw the same look on Nield and then took a deep breath. 'I make this choice there is no going back, but maybe, I won't have to, I can ask and I know the quartet and the council would say yes, I can do it, for them, their cause, as they can ask this.'
'Because they know it's right, and I know they're right, I can't let them down, I can't make this choice as a Jedi I have to do it as a friend.' they heard as he answered her as he took a deep breath. "I'll do it." he said and they nodded. "We'll do it, but first I got to run it by the quartet and the council, team meeting." Anakin said and he nodded to him. "Then we run a team meeting, we need permission first." he said and Anakin nodded
"Yeah and my scales are starting to level out, but I need to reflect, before my civilian side gets too strong and does what big brother did right now. I'm not finding my father, not now, not ever, so give me 20 minutes then to our side of the tunnel. But first I got to run it by the quartet, my first mission is to get her out, and take it up with the council." he said and the trio nodded to him gently then at that as he sighed then gently.
Walking to Adi, he crouched in front of her as he felt his inner cub start growing. 'My mother, I love her as much as I love mom, my mentor as a Master guardian. But my sister, my mother, I'm a member of two teams, but I'm a master guardian. I'm not leaving her, I'm not leaving the trio, them or Mace, I'm going home after this.' he thought softly as he said it then to her gently at that as he said it to her then gently at that response.
"Mother." he said and she opened her eyes gently. "Annie you okay?" she asked and he said it then. "Whatever happened to Obi-wan, the last time they were here, it's happening to me now." he asked shaking and she said it softly then. "Shh, it's okay, your non force sensitive side is trying to take control right now, it's okay, just focus on what matters more." she said and he closed his eyes then as he did that.
Seeing his friends, the trio, and his life at the temple, he started feeling his Jedi side start taking total hold, as he also pulled out his crystals that had the colors of his friends and team quartet and smiled as his scales leveled out and she smiled. "There you go, not so hard when you remember you got a life already in two ways, everything you think you found here you have already." she said and he nodded as he sighed as he said it.
"It got worse, Mother, they asked of me the same one that Cerasi and Nield asked of Ben, same request, I can't do this, what happens. And if the fighter gets damaged, that could kill you if the injuries are even then we thought right to what they did to you now. And without it destroying our bonds, I'm not leaving you, my place is at your sides." he said and she nodded as she answered him gently.
"One last mission to help is fine, but we're leaving directly afterwards." she said and he nodded as he closed his eyes as the tears came forward and she felt her heart fall at that response. 'Oh gods, what happened if he's close to breaking on me right now, what did you people do for him to start crying, shh, it's okay baby?!' she thought as he said it to her as he opened his eyes as he said it to her gently at that remark.
"That's the problem, before I spoke to Roenni, I got a call from every planet in range of Melida/Daan, they asked for a Jedi. One with experience in the outside world and the Chancellor chose me, but what's worse. Now, is this dragged up the same choice that Obi-wan went through right now." he said and she nodded as she sat up and he hugged her, as he pulled her into a sitting position as he buried his head into her shoulder.
'No, oh gods no, it can't be, please tell me they didn't just ask what I think they did, and who was that radio call coming in from, he's right. He just made up his mind and they ask him to stay here, it's not going to happen. I'm not leaving my brother here, not alone, got to take it up with the council. They need to know this right now, us four and Mace are his family, he's not letting go.' Obi-wan thought as he looked at Siri then.
'Oh force what now, damn it, what the hell did they ask from him if he's clinging to her not wanting to let go right now?!' Qui-Gon thought to that as he, Obi-wan and Siri quickly moved to them at that as he said it quickly at that. "What's wrong exactly, I heard most of what you were thinking, so what's wrong padawan?" he asked gently as he crouched down in front of him as Siri sat Adi up against the wall at that.
"Right after our fight, I was trying to work through it, just as I hit the level you wanted me to, I got a call from the planets in range of Melida/Daan. Asking for Jedi assistance to end the fights for good, and they chose me."he said and the trio nodded as he looked at the tears running down his face. "With it, is I got asked the same request that Nield and Cerasi asked of you Obi-wan." he said and they all nodded gently.
"I don't want to stay here, I want to go home." he said and Obi-wan hugged him and he buried his head into his shoulder as Qui-Gon and Adi exchanged furious looks at the news. 'Just what right do you have to ask this of him, he's a youngling, not an adult, he's just a child, I'm not leaving my son here, not without parental supervision.' Qui-Gon thought angrily at the news as Adi said it for him at that gently at that.
"You had to tell us this as we're part of the council that the Chancellor is trying to under mind in Master's orders for us to withdrawal?" Adi said as Siri helped her get into a sitting position against the wall at that and he nodded to answer her. As he couldn't answer directly and not without feeling like he was about to start crying then. "Shh, it's okay, we understand, but before we do anything, Anakin one choice."
"But we have to tell the others right now, Siri stay with her, Obi-wan, Anakin and I are going back to the ship." Qui-Gon said and she nodded to him and stood up as they pretended they headed for the ship. Once reaching it, Anakin turned on the radio. "Jinn/Kenobi/Skyalker team to Jedi council, repeat this is the Jinn/Kenobi/ Skywalker team to Jedi council, do you read me?" Qui-Gon said into the radio then.
"Yes we read you Qui-Gon, what is wrong exactly?" Mace asked and Anakin swallowed as he answered him. "It seems that right after Master contacted Master Yoda, every system in the Outer Rim surrounding Melida/Daan. Has ordered me to stay and help with clean up, as if that's not enough Master. I was just asked the same favor that Cerasi and Nield asked Obi-wan, last time they were here."
"But, and here's the bad news right now, but every planet closest to the Melida/Daan contacted the chancellor, he's demanding to end this. That the Jedi stay on the planet to help clean up the mess here." he said and the council nodded. "You think he's trying to drive a wedge between us by demanding that, that he is trying to use your non force sensitive side against you right now."
"Just to get you to brush the darkside right now Anakin?" Mace asked sternly to that news and he nodded to him gently. "Honestly Master, yes I do, the Chancellor is trying to stabilize the planet portion of this mission. Just to drive a wedge between us at the moment, I've already discussed this with Master Adi. But you're the one I needed that true counsel from, as the balance within."
"That includes this right now, a guardian growing up in the temple has a hard time controlling that balance within. But I am trying to control that balance in the same way, you're training me to equalize the blue and red. But these guys and the Chancellor are trying to undermine that balance at the moment. I have a people, a family and cause already: but here's the reason for this."
"The Chancellor has under-minded your orders by them contacting him and he chose me to be the one to get involved." he said and the 11 nodded slowly. "He's demanding we leave you there to finish with ending another war?!" Kit snapped in shock and he nodded to him. "They see this as a good idea, you can't get involved without things getting worse, but they see that I can, Master Yoda."
"But I do, and I know what's coming in your cases, I could never openly defy you in this case Master, what am I supposed to do." he asked, shaking and Yoda nodded, sighing at the news. "What options considered have you, Anakin, because maybe the only way to prevent a repeat to Obi-wan's situation it is now?" he asked and Anakin sighed and told him the truth as he looked between the council then.
"Take a sabbatical as a Jedi and for a few weeks, once my mission here is complete, you come pick me up and I go on probation immediately. As you once said: to return to the Jedi well then you have to be a Jedi. But if there is an emergency when I get back, then the very worst time. Is the time I must follow our code and I will, if this is turning into a repeater of Xanatos and the thefts."
"That just barely got Bant killed and did kill Bruck, that is not happening twice, but I can delay a few weeks in visits home. As they are delayed as I start my training with you starts again as we get our bonds back into place. And I just spend that 12 weeks in re-training as I do lightsaber training with you." he said and the council nodded to his decision, before Mace smiled as he answered him gently.
"That's best anyway and we see why you have to get our council, before your non force sensitive side got too strong right now. This is interfering with your balance, the colors of balance in you are shifting between red and blue. Did you already talk to Adi, if you came to me next, Annie, I'm your color. You needed to talk to me most, is that it Anakin?" he asked and Anakin nodded to him gently.
"Yes Master, but I think this was the Sith's attempt to have me suffer Obi-wan's reaction. So if there is trouble, while I'm gone and before you bring me home right now. But Cerasi and Nield's children asked me the very same favor that they, the duo themselves. That they asked Obi-wan, regarding our ship right now at the time here 15 years ago, it's happening again right now over here."
"But I'm not disobeying a direct order, you made that clear, total commitment and loyalty Master, I swore to it. But there is one option left to get Adi out and Cerasi's friends from the country Young first in. But I need permission to do it, once done, as I am not breaking your orders directly at the moment. But I learned from Ben's situation and instead of doing it without authorization."
"I had to talk to you, before taking her only way off the planet." he said and they nodded. "The wars started up again, Obi-wan?" Ki asked him and they all nodded. "They did, but it's not the Young when I was apart of it, my generation is the middle generation now, but 20% of Wehutti's age group never let it go. And their grandchildren are in the same war with their grandparents here."
"That we were with their parents, before Cerasi got them to stop and listen and Anakin is now caught in the middle of this right now and as are we." Obi-wan said and they nodded. "The only thing I can do is do their mission, but it's that and only that, but I am not and will not be violating your orders. And any further then that, but my back up skills can come in handy for your age group."
"And Obi-wan's, Father and before we have a repeater of this situation that put her into a coma that year, but still your Padawan." Anakin said and Qui-Gon nodded gently to that. "So while Qui-Gon and you distract the renegade Elders in Wehutti's generation, Anakin and their twins blow the shields. Alright do it, but be careful, once done, get the girls out of there, Anakin, if you're staying."
"Though you gave your primary to the duo, use your spare and continue training, that's your only way to stay who you are. Without you in the same uncertain path principle that your brother got stuck in. You got your link to us by your spare, once ready to come home, just send the word." Mace said and he nodded to the order as he relaxed in relief then, that he wasn't disappointing them.
"Master, just this once and only once, but I was ordered to stay here right now, by the senate, the Outer Rim planets contacted the senate." he said and Mace nodded to the news. "We'll handle this, though a padawan in theory, you're still a youngling, you're still too young to be left alone on a mission this dangerous right now, it's going to be okay son, we're going to deal with this."
"But if there is one thing more dangerous then a fully trained adult Jedi, it's one that treats their students like their own children. And when they know that what they are asking is something we'd never agree to right now." Mace said and he nodded to that. "Yes and I'm the Jedi connected to the Jedi that this started with right now, but I kept several things you left to me to stay focused."
"One good thing is ever since you started training me in lightsaber combat, I took another approach to this and was using the info-red goggles. Just to black out the laser, as I also kept my spare crystal to change colors from blue to amethyst in my spare." he said and they nodded. "We're going to talk to the senate and Chancellor, you do your mission." Mace said and he nodded gently.
"I'll see you in a few weeks Master, I promise." he said and Mace nodded to him. "Us too Anakin keep up your training, and be careful, boys, we expect you back in a week. May the force be with you." he said and they all nodded gently as they ended the call at that. "Well next step now, Obi-wan go to Cerasi and Nield, I'll go to Wehutti and his group of elders that called off the fight, we distract them."
"And you and his granchildren, the twins, blow the shield towers and particle shields." Qui-Gon said and they both nodded as they returned to the tunnels and moved back to the girls. "What the council say?" Siri asked and he explained that. "The council gave the go ahead, but on distraction and division, Siri. You stay here with her, so we get the trio and go to war council with the renegade elders."
"Distracting them long enough for Anakin and the twins to blow the particle shields and the towers. Once done we got to leave now, he's a pilot and mechanic, he can use his back up skills to do this. But we all agreed to his only way to prevent a repeater right now." he said and they nodded. "Wait, before you go to the Elders, we get her and Siri in the ship, so a fast get away now."
"But I blow the towers and the shield, once done you're waiting for us at where we hid the ship and we get the girls aboard it. So the second that the renegade elders go back on their word of peace talks. And with the Middle generation and the Young second, you get the ship ready to go. And I tell you to leave, before they fix the shields." he said and Qui-Gon nodded to his suggestion gently smiling.
"Indeed, but as we decided on that policy, we spring the trap the second they think they got us right now. At this rate right now things switched course, it doesn't matter anymore. So long as I never lost you as my youngest cub this is better then what would have happened. Twins could you come here, please, we need to talk cubs." he said, staring at the twins and they moved to him at that gently.
"Is this going to be the only time you ask for use of our ship, because Anakin is taking a big risk at doing this for you. We can agree to this, but it's just this once right now, we'll: that is your parents. Your grandfather, Obi-wan and I distract the renegade elders and you destroy the towers and particle shields?" he asked and the twins nodded in amazement and relief, they got it worked out so fast.
"Nield get your father." Siri said and he nodded as a few minutes later their parents and Wehutti arrived. "Guys we're doing it again to give you a fighting chance, but once done we got to leave right after, as we wait to see their response." Obi-wan said and they nodded to the decision. "Done, if he gets ordered to stay here, he's staying with us, I promise we'll take care of him, I promise Obi-wan."
"Like you, he is taking a very big risk for us, but we are not asking either of you to violate your bonds or go against Qui-Gon twice." Cerasi said and her daughter nodded. "Just this once, if it gets worse, and he gets orders to stay, blow the blasted reason, we can figure a new way. To protect your parents and ancestors past, but the halls have got to go, they did enough damage, to us and you."
"But we better plan it out right now, but you're our closest allies with Deanna, Gueni, Rica, Deila and Joli." Qui-Gon said and she nodded. "Always my friend, you sacrificed so much for us and we're paying it forward. And by insuring your relationship stays strong, but we had enough of the fighting here now. But we end it in one shot, but last time I swear." Nield said and Cerasi nodded to that
"We can Master Jinn, Obi-wan, and thank you, the mission begins at dawn."Roenni said to them and they nodded. "Very well, best get some sleep now." Obi-wan said and they nodded as Anakin grabbed his sleeping pad and blanket, moved to them. And curled up next to the quartet, Qui-Gon, watching him sleep, hid a smile as he ran his hand through the boy's hair and smiled as he turned his head to him in response.
As he watched him burrow into Obi-wan's chest and Obi-wan wrapped his arm around him to keep him warm then. He hid a smile then at the fact that one change kept their bonds strong now. Before things started the next morning then, as Obi-wan gently shook him awake then and he nodded as he stood up then. "Remember be careful and try to go on stealth mode for most of this."Qui-Gon said for him and he nodded to him.
"I will father, we'll meet you back at where we hid the ship, before you guys, Wehutti, Cerasi and Nield join with the other Young first and Elders. And to go to bat with the renegade Elders, but we'll be waiting for the call."he said and Qui-Gon nodded to the directions. "We'll see you in an hour then." Obi-wan said to him gently at that as he nodded as the twins moved to them gently at that.
