Hello? Hi! Is this thing on? Well, beats me, 'cause if it isn't, it won't really matter. Only a certain kind of people will be able to access this thing, so I won't lose any sleep if it isn't.
You know, you may be in a rush and all, but I do have to mention- I look kind of crazy right now, dangling a Hello Kitty microphone in front of my face on Annabeth's bunk, laying upside down as she tries to whack me with a- phew- with a roll of papyrus paper because I ate her jelly beans. Anyway! No one's made fun of me for the microphone yet but eh- I'm sure I'll hear all about that sooner rather than later. Probably at the mess hall. Piper's always looking for stuff to make fun of me for. Of course, not that I don't trust the Athena cabin to keep secrets-

Huh? Yeah, you're right. I should introduce myself. Well, I don't really want to, but I'm Percy Jackson. Maybe you will have heard of me by now, especially if I achieved my true goal. The goal will not be mentioned in this recording, or, uh, ever, I think.
Sorry if I'm being vague- there's a chance I let some important stuff spill, and I really can't let that happen. Especially with the way [bzzt] works, one small misspeak could ruin your life. And mine. And the past, and the present, and the future. No pressure, though, right?
Well, I guess I'll start, from- Malcolm? What are you doing up? What time is it? Kid, you have to get in bed- shoot, it's still recording. Wait a sec.

I put it down for a second. Yes, I can still see you. You're not hiding too well. She's up, yeah, but Annabeth's a freak when it comes to that stuff. She could stay up all night.

I'll just do the recording from the damn floor! Look, look, I know you have questions, but for now- stick with me. Welcome, I think, to my first audio entry.

Where is it…where is it…ah! Here we are: my stat sheet from that summer. My first year in the Greek world, eh? That was an interesting time. Now, obviously, I'm in the future. That's how I'm talking to you. And, if you're hearing this, you probably found the tapes!
Congratulations! I figured, for posterity and all, I should go in and make these tapes and leave them somewhere in the [inaudible] just in case the next user doesn't know how stuff works.

I just thought this would be a fun way to display Percy's stats without just taking up space in a chapter.
He's going to do the point allocation in the next story chapter, but I just wanted to add this little chapter in for fun. Sort of like a trial run.
If you're confused, that's pretty much by design. This is meant to be an audio recording that Percy records sometime in the future for reasons that I'm sure you guys will have theories about, but yeah! Mainly for showing stats. I figured it would be a fun way to keep you guys posted with his stats thus far and try something a bit different. Let me know if you like it or not!
