Warning: I do not own Arrowverse and Marvel Cinematic Universe, they are owned by their creators. Fictional events that I make are mine. This story is inspired by Stand with Ward and Queen and Raptor2216, as they made me want to create my own version.
Loki watches below, motionless as well as not too please with the situation while he rides on his glider. "Send the rest." Loki ordered.
Out from the portal above, two more Leviathans emerged out with more Chitauri reinforcements.
Black Widow was the first to notice this. "Guys." Natasha alerted them. Everyone turned and looked up at the portal and the ever-expanding army.
"Call it, Cap." Iron Man looked to The First Avenger.
"Alright, listen up! " Captain America orders as he raises his voice to get their attention. He turned to face the team as they stood in a semicircle around him. He was in full command mode, his sharpened leadership skills still showing their edge despite all the years beneath the ice. "Until we can close that portal up there, we're gonna use containment." The super soldier turns his attention towards the two archers. "Barton, Queen, I want you two on those roofs, eyes on everything. Call out patterns and strays." Captain America orders, before turning towards Iron Man. "Stark, you got the perimeter. Anything gets more than three blocks out, you turn it back or your turn it to ash."
"Wanna give us a lift?" Green Arrow asked Iron Man.
"Right," Iron Man confirmed. "Better clench up, Robin Hood." Iron Man warned as he walked over and grabbed hold of Green Arrow and Hawkeye, then blasted off into the air, moving to the nearby building.
"Thor, Supergirl, you two need to bottleneck that portal." Captain America ordered the Asgardian and last Daughter of Krypton. "Slow them down. You two seems to have most powers, so light the bastards up." Captain America continued with the plan, the two aliens nodded their heads in agreement. Thor starts spinning his hammer and then taking off with Supergirl not far from behind.
This just leaves himself, Black Widow, Flash, and Hulk. Turning back to Flash and Black Widow, he contiued with his plans. ""You and me, we stay here on the ground." Cap said to Black Widow. "We keep the fighting here." Black Widow and Flash nodded in agreement, ebfore Captain American turns to the last Avengers member. "And Hulk…" He said, the Hulk turning to him sharply, grunting and growling. Steve raised his hand and pointed up to the sky as he spoke one word. "Smash." He declared.
Hulk let a grin appear on his face and leap off into action. The Green Goliath roaring as he landed onto the side of building, and an unlucky Chitauri. The squashed remains of it in hand, Hulk leapt to another building and smashed it again into the building's side. Barely feeling the bolts of energy from a Chitauri next to him, Hulk smashed it into the building and throwing another one away, before leaping to another building, tossing a fourth one through a window, and finally jumping out towards a fleet of gliders, crashing through one and smashing another.
Thor and Supergirl flew straight towards the Empire State Building, the Girl of Steel continues to hover while Thor landed upon the side of its needle.
"So why can't you fly and shoot lightning out of that hammer?" SUpergirl questions the God of Thunder.
"Normally I would, but the power I wanna unleashed can't have me flying. So it's easier if I was standing on something." Thor explained.
"Oh….ok" Supergirl said simply as she didn't know what to say, but just go along with it as she can't judge that.
Looking up, Thor raised his hammer to the sky, thunder rumbling and clouds gathering, electricity sparking around Mjolnir. A bolt of white lightning crashed onto Thor's hammer, the massive amounts of electricity shooting and spreading along the needle of the building. Looking to the portal and with a mighty yell, Thor launched the massive bluish white lightning towards the portal, stray bolts of lightning easily destroying multiple Chitauri in fiery explosions, and striking and quickly exploding two more Leviathans that tried to come through, the two roaring as they exploded.
Supergirl does the same as she let out a huge blast of her heat vision, it easily tear through the many soldier chairots that they ride on like butter. They too screamed in anguish and in pain of being burn alive from the damage they are receiving. Supergirl unleashed it even more as she shot her heat vision through three more Leviathan that was trying to come through but was no match for her fire in her eyes.
Back on the Helicarrier, a man named Nick Fury, who seems to have an eye patch was watching the events unfold on his console through news networks and satellite imaging. It was horrible to say the least with Loki's attempt on this invasion, but he is very confident in his team to pull it through even if eh has to rely on three new heroes who came out of nowhere.
"Sir," Maria Hill, Nick Fury's second in command walked up to him urgently. "The Council is on." SHe informed him
Fury didn't looks to pleased to hear that, before nodding his head and swiping the screen.
"Stark, you got a lot of strays sniffing your tail." Hawkeye reported at the top of the building's roof, drawing an arrow and firing it.
True to his word, several Chitauri were following the flying Armored Avenger as he moved through the streets. "I'm just trying to keep them off the streets." Iron Man reported back.
"Well, they can't bank worth a damn." Hawkeye informed with a smirk, drawing another arrow and firing, without looking, striking and exploding a Chitauri flying behind him.
"So find a tight corner." Green Arrow instructed Iron Man as he turn around and shot a double arrow cusing two chariots to crashed into a whole army of them. This resulted in them to crash ina budling and exploded on impact.
"I will roger that." Iron Man replied. As he moved to do so, he passed Hawkeye and Green Arrow's position, who was aiming up their next shot and fired an arrow, hitting the joint of a chariot. The joint began to melt and eventually broke in half, so they had broken the part where the chariot was held together. As it fell down and crashed, Iron Man hit the brakes and was able to get behind a Chariot and blow it apart before flying forward again.
He flew low and forced the chariots to follow as they fired and blew up some cars below, the cars flew up and destroy another chariot. Stark then led the Chariots down and into a tunnel, where they struggled to make the turn. As they exited, Stark made a U-Turn, causing another chariot to crash as it attempted to match the maneuver. With only two left Stark led them down a narrow alleyway where they crashed into a low clearing and exploded.
"Nice call." Iron Man thanked. "What else you got?"
"Well, Thor and Supergirl is taking on a squadron down on Sixth." Green Arrow informed him.
Iron Man pouted childishly. "And they didn't invite me." He pouted, jokingly.
Elsewhere, a Leviathan was flying past a building, before it turned and planned to smash through it. Inside, dozens of people were trapped and could do nothing but stagger away as the beast planned to smash through the office and them. But as they turned to flee, another monster was coming from the opposite direction, blowing through work stations and desks and blew through the window to leap onto the Leviathan.
The Hulk grabbed the Leviathan by the jaw and pulled it away from the building, punching it all the while.
On the street Black WIdow was thrown onto the hood of a car, moving away from a Chitauri soldier who tried stabbing her with his weapon. The master assassin quickly straddled the creature's upper body, jamming her gloves into his neck, her Widow Bites shocking the creature. With it stunned, Black WIdow grabbed the alien's staff weapon and fired on it's face, blue blood splattering out. More began to surround her as she has the weapon ready to fire, but then all of a sudden she saw a flash of yellow/orange lighting zip around her and knocked all the creature off the bridge. They all went flying as they scream din surprised and in confusion. The two heroes look at each other for a moment as the ex-assassin nod her head in thank you motion.
Black WIdow immedtoiely sense someone behind her as she whirled around and aimed the weapon behind her, stopping as she saw that it was Captain America. He just made his way to her as she sat on the cab, panting tiredly. "Captain, none of this is going to mean a damn thing if we don't close that portal." Romanoff told him.
The three stared up to the portal, more Chitauri coming through, and the blue beam powering it from atop Stark Tower. "Our biggest guns couldn't touch it." Captain America pointed out.
"Well, maybe it's not about guns." Flash replied.
Chitauri flew overhead while a group of them landed by Gran Central Terminal, making their way towards the three. "If you want to get up there, you're going to need a ride." Captain America said the obvious.
"I got a ride." Black Widow said, looking up above her to see the flying by Chitauri. Dropping the weapon, she walked away from the super soldier. "I could use a boost, though."
"I'm not liking the plan." Flash said with a bit worry towards his new friend.
"Yeah, well let me know if you have a better one." Black Widow told him with a smirk.
The super soldier stared up at the passing Chitauri gliders and caught on to her plan. Readying his shield up and backing up, Captain America asked "Are you sure about this?"
"Yeah. It's gonna be fun." Black Widow assured him, turning to face him and stare at her target.
Black Widow ran up to Captain America, jumping onto the car's hood before jumping onto Cap's shield. With Captain America lifting the shield and her upwards, Black Widow sprung up into the air, reaching out and grabbing onto one of the gliders. Captain America and FLash watched her fly off with an impressed smile, before a thought popped in Flash's head.
"Wait, I could have run her to the building." Flash said in realization, making Captain America sigh.
"Just go after her." Captain America ordered with a sigh, Flash nodded before racing off after Black Widow and amke sure she doesn't get killed.
Yeah sorry if this is short, I wanna have the next chapter to be a bit longer. If you all didn't know, I have a new schedule for you to read. I am finally back, work has just been too busy for me so sorry for the lack of updates.
