Yo, it was some time since i posted the last chapter, and i have an excuse for that, i was doing an Melissa pov as this chapter but then i remembered 'Hey, Izuku arent even at UA yet, so why am i doing it NOW !?' and then i decided to stop doing that and then some things happened on school, like tests and etc, so i didnt had time to make another chapter until now so, im sorry for that.

Edit(10/13/2023): Hey there, another chapter fixed... should i... say something else...? I guess not.

And i forgot about the fact Izuku had an week to name his quirk, and i dont have a good name, so uh i think im gonna just name it red and blue, dunno.

So, enjoy this chapter.

Chapter 8

Izuku stops the alarm before it could even start, it is rare to Izuku wake up by himself before the alarm wakes him up, it only happens when he is pretty excited by something that will happen.

And today is the day thay he will finally try the double megamerge, it was an idea that Izuku had when Z appeared but they never tried because they needed to train how long he could hold up the single megamerge form.

"Are you ready ?" Z appears on his side, Z too is curious if the double megamerge will work, something tells him that it will work but he doesn't exactly trust it..

"Yes, if that work we will have a secret weapon but even if doesn't work its fine, we will just need to start training to change between the blue shooter and the scarlet knight." If Z had eyes he would have rolled them.

"Please, just say megaman Z or megaman X it's better than theses names." Izuku chuckles, when he came with that name Z tried to came up with another and it was decided by votes, and then he lost due to a certain blue traitor.

"Whats wrong with the names Z ? I thought the name that Izuku came was good." In a flash of light, X appears.

"No it's not, and don't try to change my mind, i will refuse to accept that name, mine was far better." Izuku laughs at the biometals bickering, in those past days they had became more comfortable to each other, two months ago he wouldn't even imaginate something like this.

"Lets move on for that, i believe you need to get ready to train the double megamerge." With that said Izuku gets up to get ready.

Izuku takes his time to take the bath and wake up for real this time, when he arrives at the kitchen he sees his mother there, already making his breakfast as always, Izuku smiles, even though it has been two months, it's still hard to believe how much the things has changed.

"Hi mom, do you need any help ?" Inko then turns around and gives her son a smile.

"Don't worry Izuku, i'm almost finishing it, so if you want you can sit already, it won't take too long." With that said, Izuku sits on the table wating for the breakfast, after some time Inko finishes it and serves the breakfast and they eat in silence for a while until Inko speaks.

"So, what are you planning to train today ?" Izuku then goes to explain about his theory of the double megamerge, and Inko is not surprised by that since Izuku writes about quirks since he was a child.

"I'm not surprised you thought about that, you are pretty smart when it comes to study quirks." A few weeks ago Izuku would have denied it but now.

"Thanks mom, its nice to see that my analises are paying off." After some time with Dra Linda he knows that his notes aren't 'creepy' as his old classmates says, even Mel says its a good skill to have.

"Izuku, if you want i could pack you a bento for you to eat so you could train a bit more." With a nod Izuku and Inko finishes their breakfast and while Inko makes his bento Izuku cleans the dishes.

After cleaning the dishes and finishing pack the bento, Izuku says goodbye and jogs to dagobah beach while X and Z disappears on his body.

While going to dagobah Izuku reflects on how much changed on those two months.

'Man, ever since that fateful day that i meet X and Z my life got better, now i have three friends that believes on me, my mom now supports my dream, and thanks to Dra Linda i am getting my confidence back. But still...could i face Bakugou without fear ?' Izuku couldn't help but think about how his former bully is doing.

After leaving Aldera, Izuku didn't saw Bakugou anymore, maybe he thought that Izuku gave up or the explosive user is training more than ever to UA, but he can't help but try to think what would happen when they meet at UA, would he be able to face him or would he fear him as he always feared.

"(Don't think about that now, focus on getting stronger and mastering your abilities on the Blue shooter form and scarlet knight form.)" X says, and Izuku could feel that the blue biometal would be smiling innocently if he had a face.

"(Please, we are inside his mind, just please call it megaman X or megaman Z form.)" Izuku holds back a laugh, it's always funny to tease Z with the names that Izuku came up.

"(Ok ok, when we talk on my mind we will call it megaman X and Z, ok ?)"

"(Thanks Izuku, i appreciate it.)" While Izuku can't see X nor he have a mouth, he can feel the smirk that X is projecting.

"(Doesn't means we won't stop using when talking with him outside his mind Z, remember that)" Z groans and now Izuku couldnt hold back the laugh.

After a while they arrive at dagobah, Izuku pauses a little to admire how he progressed on cleaning the beach.

'Using this as muscle training and train the X cannon and Z saber was a really good idea.'

Seeing how much cleaner the beach seems than before makes Izuku more excited to see the same view he used to saw as a little kid with his mother and dad.

"(Now i believe its time to try the double megamerge you were so excited to use, but remember, it might not work.)" Now it was X turn to roll his imaginary eyes.

"(Cmom Z, try to be a little more hopeful, maybe it will work.)"

Before Z could answer Izuku starts to stretch and the two biometals appears in a flash of blue and red.

"Ready X ? Ready Z?"

"Ready."

With that, Izuku grabs both X and Z in his hands and takes a deep breath.

"MEGAMERGE !"

And then a great light of blue and red explodes from Izuku, then after the light fades away he appears wearing what it looks like the armor from his megaman Z form, but with a more bright red color and with more armor protection, on his hand there is his Z saber but it's bigger and sharper than his original Z saber, and on the other some sort of pistol, Izuku wonders if he can charge it too like the X buster.

"W-woah, so much power, and it works !" Izuku exlaims, while he is pretty happy and surprised about it, X and Z feels like they already had done this, but they can't remember how, or with who.

But before anything could be said Izuku feels like his body in pain, he feels more tired than he ever felt, far more tired than when he trained with X for the first time, and then he faints while the form dissipates.

When Izuku opens his eyes he is greeted by the same familiar black void that he had been before, but this time his partners are there with him.

"Z !? X!? What happened !?" Izuku says, but before they can answer they began to have a vision.

A teen with Blue clothes and short hair is seem on the ground, badly hurt, on her side is Model Z and on the other is model X, she appears to be trying to reach Model Z and when she reaches it, a bright light suddenly blinds everything and when it fades away she is seem with the same armor Izuku had before fainting.

After that the vision fades and the three are left and Izuku is taking deep breaths.

"W-what...Who was that ?...X...Z do you know her ?" X and Z are sure they saw that girl somewhere but they cant remember her, why ?

"I...I dont know, i feel like i know her but i don't remember."

"Its true , it's seems that he was our old holder or she was one of our holder, but why i can't remember her."

"Seems like you achieved the ZX form." A voice suddenly cuts Izuku and the biometals thoughts.

"Who is there !?" Izuku exclaims while X and Z are thinking how familiar that voice sounds.

"I'm afraid i can't reveal myself yet, i just brought you here to warn you that the form you attempted to use, you aren't ready yet, i wouldn't recommend you to use it." The voice says leaving Izuku confused.

"But when i will know when i'm ready ?" Before Izuku could have his answer, a light blinds the three of them and suddenly Izuku awakes at dagobah.

"Wh-what...what was that, who was that girl and who was that voice." Izuku asks himself confused but then he remember something important or rather two person.

"X ! Z ! Are you alright ?" Izuku sees Z and X flying, despite what happened Izuku smiles at the fact that his partners are ok.

"We are okay, but that girl on the vision...im sure that we knew her, not only we saw her transform on the megaman form with us but it feels like she is familiar to us."

"Z is right, i believe she was our previously holder, but something happened to her and to us that erased our memories."

"That voice...maybe was it her ?"

"I dont doubt it, that voice seems familiar for me." X curses the fact he doesn't have his memories, it would have been useful to even have a name.

And with that said, Izuku gets up and starts to think about the double megamerge.

"Maybe we should talk about that later, now we need to talk about that form, the voice called it ZX." Now focused on the new form X and Z gives their opinion.

"I believe we shouldn't train it, i could feel it was much more powerful than a normal megamerge but it seems you aren't ready to use it, don't try to use it even as a last resort.

"X is right, while you may be able to hold it for a few seconds, it isn't worth it, it's better to try and change between the megaman X and megaman Z form." Izuku nods, but think a little about the recents events.

While Izuku is happy that the double megamerge (or ZX form, as the voice said.) works, he can't help but feel like its his fault for not working, maybe if he had trained more or-

"Izuku, i'm afraid i'm gonna have to disagree with your thoughts." Izuku didn't knew that he was leaving his thoughts to X and Z hear but now its too late to stop.

"But, if i had trained more our time in the megaman form or maybe if i had trained more my normal stamina, maybe-"

"No, i don't think it would have worked." Z cuts Izuku and before he could say something X picks up where Z left off.

"I agree with him, and even if we can't use it for more than a few seconds it doesn't change our progress, if it hadn't worked then we would train changing forms, and we wouldn't have let you overwork yourself." They both are right, as the voice itself said, it's not the time for him to use it yet, as X said he needs to focus on changing between X and Z forms.

Izuku thoughts are interupted by X "Ok, since we can't use the ZX form yet, i believe we should try changing forms today, nothing too complicated, maybe changing while shooting or slashing, maybe ?" Hearing X suggestion makes Izuku nods and he transforms on the X form.

"Before we start i would like to test something, when i charge the cannon on X form, if i change to Z form then come back to X form would the energy that the cannon had accumulated restart ?" Z stays silent for a moment before speaking.

"That's... an interesting question, i don't see the harm on trying it." Izuku nods and starts to charge the cannons while Z enters his body.

When Izuku feels the cannons charged, he changes to Z form for a while, and he can still feel the cannons energy on the back of his mind.

After a few seconds, he changes back to X form and gets surprised when the cannons still have the same energy he had accumulated.

While Izuku beams at the idea of being able to keep the cannons charged while in the Z form, in the same void that Izuku and the biometals were, a young teen appears and smiles at the scene in front of her.

"Izuku Midoriya, you seem like a good person, i am glad they choose someone like you, i can't wait to see how you will make your path as a hero, but it seems that i can't talk with you yet, but soon, we may talk." The mysterious teen says to herself before she disappears on the void once again.

Yo, it took some time but i finished this chapter, and no prizes for those that guess right who was the person in the void that they saw.

Edit (10/13/2023): Hey there, many things had changed between this chapter and the latest one, as i said here before, Giro somehow became a cyber elf... then why not make Aile a cyber elf too ?

And for model ZX, i won't give that kind of power for Izuku yet, he will need to train to change beetween X or Z form.

And yes i know that the cover name of the forms are bad, as i said giving names is not my strongest trait.

As for the quirk name...it will be red and blue (or i can use the form name as the quirk name but i dunno about it yet.)

And i think im gonna give another timeskip so we can get close to UA, i believe i am making the entrace exams take too long.

Edit: Yo, here again, and this chapter was just changed a bit, the names were changed to Blue shooter and Scarlet knight, and changed the end a little bit to introduce the fact that Izuku can hold the charged shoot if he changes to the Z form, (But he can't charge the cannons if he is on another form.) and i believe that after i finish the next two chaptes im gonna have to see the Maverick war and the elf wars, and maybe see the megaman ZX and ZX advent lore, DON'T BLAME ME, I DON'T REMEMBER TOO MUCH ABOUT THE ZX LORE IT WAS YEARS AGO THAT I PLAYED, thats all, good day/afternoon/evening to you all.
