Synopsis: In order to understand the threat posed by Operation: Knightfall, Kate volunteers to participate in Jacob's team's training sessions. Meanwhile, the team is concerned by the outcome of what threat is on the horizon, as they still prepare for Safiyah's inevitable retaliation. Also, Mary confides in Luke about Scarecrow's failed gas attempt and tries to figure out the reason why it failed in the first place.

"Everyone, lower your weapons! And back off!" Jacob Kane shouted at his people finally breaking out of the shock of seeing Kate arrive. "What are you doing here? How'd you even find me here?"

Kate sighed looking concerned. "I was worried about you dad, I haven't heard from you since everything with Scarecrow going after Mary. I called in a favor to track your phone. You weren't at the office and not at home, I got scared for your safety. Safiyah is still out there she could've been after you, for all I know she was holding you here. All I wanted to do was make sure you were okay dad and check on you." She explained partially genuinely about her reasoning for showing up, it was true she was worried about him.

Jacob pressed his forehead. "You're right, I'm sorry Kate. I didn't mean to cause you concern, I understand why you were. After everything happening this year, our family has been in a lot of danger. You had every reason to be worried."

"It's okay Dad. We're talking now. What exactly are you doing here anyways?" She then asked curiously wondering what was going on.

Agent Proctor interjected upon hearing that. "That's classified. Right sir?"

"You're speaking to my daughter, if I can't trust her with this sensitive information, who can I trust?" Jacob replied looking angry at Proctor and sighed. "Kate, you have to understand, nobody can know about this. The utmost privacy is essentiel."

She nodded understanding and felt some guilt from lying to her father. "I promise, I'll not speak to a soul about this."

Jacob nodded and led her inside, with the other Crows heading inside first in front of her. "This is what I've been working on, we're calling it Operation: Knightfall."

"Wait, what exactly is going on? Why are you rushing to get out of here?" Sophie asked Julia inside of her apartment.

"It's about Batwoman, she contacted me. Apparently Jacob Kane is planning something major against her. Something dangerous and I want to help." Julia replied and lied partially to her.

Sophie was surprised. "Are you certain? Neither of us heard anything about that! Would he really be keeping a secret that large?"

"Unfortunately that seems to be the case Luv, I'm just going to go out and speak to a contact about it." She replied, lying again in reality wanting to get caught up with Luke about what exactly was happening.

"Can I come with you? I'm concerned now, what exactly are you getting yourself into Julia? Is this dangerous?" She was greatly concerned.

"Couldn't be certain, not yet anyways. That's why I'm heading out now, to get a clue on how much of a problem this actually is." Julia replied.

Sophie sighed and put her hands on her hips. "Promise you'll keep me in the loop? I want to help anyway I can. No matter what."

"Of course I will love you Sophie. I'll be back shortly, I promise you that and to keep you informed on everything going on." Julia responded, while hiding her guilt, continuing to lie to her.

"Thank you Julia, love you too. Good luck. And stay out of trouble, I missed you a lot. I couldn't stand to lose you again." Sophie said, frowning.

"You won't, I swear to you." She blew a kiss and departed to Wayne Tower.

Back over with Kate, she was being escorted to the main training area. It was a large facility, one which surpassed her expectations of what this whole operation could be.

"What exactly is this place dad?" She asked immediately, looking around trying to understand it, hoping it wasn't for what she feared.

Jacob looked at his people all getting into their positions again. "It's a state of the art training facility, believe me it took a lot of calls and promise to keep everything in here intact for returning. People would have my head if this place got destroyed. In some ways, part of this is a test. A proof of concept for training this way. It's completely off the books and everyone here had to be vetted completely."

"What exactly are you training for?" She asked the question that was boiling up in the back of her mind.

Jacob turned to her. "Bringing an end to Batwoman at last." He responded simply.

She hid the great disappointment well and took a moment to respond, knowing she'd have to be careful. "Of course dad, I know you've always been having strong opinions about taking her in. Arresting her right?"

"Yes, she'll be spending the rest of her life in a prison cell hopefully for all the damage and chaotic nature she brought back to Gotham." Jacob replied, but paused, not finished yet. "We're also training to kill, if necessary. It's highly likely she'll want to put up one heck of a fight instead of getting captured."

She cleared her throat and moved on. "How exactly does this place work?"

"Glad you asked, it's impressive. This facility is designed to simulate various combat scenarios that are programmed via an A.I. computer system and using VR technology to generate various urban environments. By some miracle, it all works. Mostly flawlessly so far, a few of our people have run into walls by mistake or made bad movement calls due to the environments glitching out at times. Like I said, not a perfect system. But I'd be a damn liar if I didn't admit it's an accomplishment for every silicon valley techie type of person. Never imagined technology would advance to the levels of something out of Star Trek in my lifetime." Jacob expressed and smiled slightly.

Kate did too, from his last comment. "I always did enjoy watching that show with you when I was younger. Even if it wasn't exactly my cup of tea."

He nodded and chuckled. "Used to think it was all science fiction, out of reach. Now it's coming closer to that, freaky, but impressive. Oh and of course, we have a place to observe the training, upstairs natually. You're welcome to watch if you plan on staying."

"Think I might stay a while longer, yeah." Kate replied.

He sighed. "There is more to show you, one of our most helpful factors for having a chance against Batwoman."

She was interested, wanting to know what exactly he meant, following him into a room finding that spare batsuit he managed to acquire.

"Where'd you find that suit?" She asked playing dumb.

"Months ago after Tommy Elliot tried framing Bruce for being a phycotic murderer, which the only thing I could say about Batman is at least he never killed anyone, intenally." He looked down, then continued speaking. "GCPD had this suit under lock and key. Until the mayor allowed us to use it, thankfully so. As you can see, we're scanning it. Here's what the more technical people told me, it's being analyzed thoroughly via automated scanning devices and multiple screens detailing potential weak spots and various other things on the suit. We'll have every advantage to use against her, beyond what she could ever expect." He explained to Kate.

"You've certainly been very hard at work." She replied, gulping.

Elsewhere in Gotham, Mary was also hard at work at her apartment, while also speaking to Luke on the phone while her security was outside. It wasn't ideal working there, but going to the clinic would be dangerous right now with Safiyah knowing exactly where it was and not wanting to let the Crows on her know about it either.

"So, what exactly are you so worked up about? You didn't mention it at all earlier." Luke began saying.

"I was trying to ignore it, but after I kept thinking about it I needed to understand what happened." Mary replied, working away.

"Could you say that again less cryptic? I'm worried now Mary." Luke said seriously which gave her pause.

Mary sighed. "When Scarecrow gassed me, it affected me for perhaps a minute or less. I didn't have a cure, my body therefore must've cured itself which is just impossible right? I mean nobody in all the years of Scarecrow being around shown they could resist his fear gas. It's seriously messing with my head!"

"That is quite unusual, maybe I could help you get to the bottom of what's going on then? I want to help."

"Don't worry about it Luke, help out the team sounds like they're going to really need all your help if everything about my dad is as bad as it's seeming to be. Besides, do you know much about medical related stuff?" Mary responded.

Luke paused. "Well, I'm a fast learner you know!"

"Maybe not that fast of one, I spent years in med school remember?" She laughed.

"Fair point, I definitely haven't. If you need any help with something electronic, then I'm your man!"

Mary smiled. "You already are, silly gose. Biggest help ever."

"You're not so bad yourself." He replied, as she hung up, getting back to work testing her own blood believing that maybe it had some clue.

Elsewhere Kate was continuing to observe the facility that was housing the training being used against Batwoman. It appeared all the Crow operatives were planning on continuing their training exercises. Upon seeing it, this gave her an idea.

"Would I be able to test your team? I could pretend to be Batwoman, see exactly how skilled they really are?" Kate suggested it to her father, which left him greatly surprised by her asking.

"I'm not sure, you could get hurt." Jacob replied thinking about it.

Kate turned to him looking determined. "I'll be fine. You can see personally that I could be a great member of the Crows someday. I've learned a lot during the 5 years I was away, you can finally see how much I picked up on." Kate explained.

He thought about it long and hard. "Alright, you have a go ahead from me."

Kate stepped towards the Crows.

"You want us to fight her sir?" Proctor asked.

"She does seem like a professional." Another Crow said skeptical.

"This isn't a debate. Give Kate everything you all have." Jacob said genuinely heading to the observation point.

They all accepted and got ready to begin the training fight.

Kate prepared for the fight, noticing all the Crows preparing themselves to get into positions around her.

The first rushed at her throwing their fist, which was easily able to block, but she suspected it was a diversion which was correct. Two more tried grabbing her from behind, which she managed to avoid by ducking down kicking them legs making them fall temperley rolling back. That too was a diversion as 4 more Crows approached from behind disabling her movement surrendering her managing to all sync their movements to overwhelm Kate making her more desperte managing to break loose, but got knocked down hard by two more on the outside of that boxed in tactic preparing for her trying to get loose.

Kate tried getting back to her feet, but was nearly knocked down once again. Though managed to bring one of them down to her level and used them as a shield making way to kick back another Crow. It appeared she found her footing again, but was stunned when she was caught off guard, one by one they all took fast pot shots at her eventually making her fall down. Making way for them to pin her into an inescapable position.

"You got me, damn fine movements." She said genuinely, while completely shocked by how impressive her opponents were. They worked together incredibly well, far too well in fact. This wasn't even the real deal, assuming it was, there was an extremely high chance they'd actually be able to take her down hard. She had to learn more.

"Good work team. And you too Kate, you really have learned a lot, fantastic work." Jacob expressed finding himself surprised and impressed.

Kate stood back up brushing herself off. "I'd like to run that again, you nice. Practice is always important and that was fun." She lied.

"Team? Is that alright with you?" Jacob asked and they all nodded. "Alright then, we'll run it again. Just remember your training on a friendly, don't use last resort tactics."

She didn't like the sound of that, knowing she'd eventually find out exactly what that meant soon enough.

Down in the batcave, Ryan was training herself as well, all the while Luke was working away on the batcomputer when Julia arrived in the cave.

"What's happening? Kate mentioned a situation with her father?" She asked immediately, wanting an answer.

"I've not heard back yet, still waiting to find out exactly." Luke replied.

"Do I need to get prepared for a rescue mission?" Julia then questioned.

He looked concerned. "I really hope not, it's not like Kane would've figured out her identity right?"

"What if Safiayh told him? Or if she's got her dirty little paws in this somehow, someway. I smell trouble is all I'm saying Luke."

Luke brushed it off. "He'd never arrest Kate. Doesn't seem like that kind of dad. Maybe if he knew her identity he'd even back off for all we know!" He then suggested.

"Let's hope not. All I want is to not rope Sophie into this mess. Could be costly, she still doesn't know about everything with our team." Julia admitted.

Ryan came over taking a break. "I'm sorry to butt in, it's not really my business, but why haven't we told Sophie about all this? I haven't officially met her, though you and Kate clearly care a lot about her. Wouldn't it be helpful to bring her in?"

"It's Kate's choice, if I had my way, I would've already told her." Julia said simply. "And it really isn't much of your business."

Luke shook his head. "She's earned her place on this team, a team question is always valid to a teammate."

She sighed. "Fine. I'm just greatly concerned, leaving her out of this. I hate all this lying to her face."

"I get it. Lying to someone you love isn't easy and she could be in danger right now with everything with Safiyah, now too with whatever Kate's dad is planning." Ryan replied, understanding her perspective, of course lying to her own love. Right now judging from her face she was reconsidering it.

"It's for the best keeping them in the dark. Telling more people about our activities could put them into danger." Luke added his perspective

Ryan sighed, agreeing for now heading back to train not wanting to discuss it further.

"We all just need to wait for Kate to come back, figure everything out once we get more information, that's the way I see it. I always like working with all the facts in order first." Luke said, looking at Julia.

She nodded, accepting his point.

Speaking of which, back over with Kate, she had finished a third training drill with the Crows only continuing to confirm their skill set.

"Impressive, your team certainly has learned a lot." Kate said looking up at her father watching down, now heading to check on her.

One Crow spoke up, seeming impressed. "Ms. Kane, you clearly have learnt a lot haven't you? Quite the skills you have there. You held your own against us pretty well and we're a tough bunch. Why weren't you a Crow?" They questioned and looked over at Jacob Kane.

Jacob heard this observation, being distracted by it. Finding Kate's skills and fighting formulier looking, wondering where exactly she learned it. And why it made him have a feeling of recalling it. Then he just shook his head, ignoring those thoughts now feeling only proud of Kate's abilities. "You did great, kid."

"Thank you dad." Kate replied, nodding.

"Are you impressed by our work here? Anything we should improve on perhaps?" Jacob questioned, curious for her thoughts.

Kate took a moment to think, wanting to be careful. "No, your team is doing incredible. Batwoman wouldn't stand against them all, not a chance. They'll leant a lot, congrats on organizing this group." She replied simply and lied, keeping a straight face. "I think maybe I should be heading out, have some work to do in the morning over at Wayne Enterprises." Kate then expressed.

Her father nodded. "Understandable, wouldn't want to keep you for any longer. Just remember you can't tell a soul about this operation. Not even Mary."

"Of course, she'll hear nothing about this. You can count on me to keep my mouth shut, this is too important to get leaked." Kate replied, again lying, now really wanting to make her leave not enjoying lying right to his face. She smiled and started to walk away, holding her breath hoping nothing was given away.

Before she could exit out the front door, agent Proctor did approach. "Your skills are really impressive, where did you learn all of that? Everyone here has years of training under our belts, it's interesting."

"Well, I've learnt a lot, traveled around the world." Kate responded.

Protector nodded, looking at her closely, not seeming to trust her. "It's a shame you weren't a Crow, you would've been excellent."

"There is still time." Kate replied with a smile.

"Perhaps, just might mean not being as busy, wouldn't it?"

Kate paused. "Yes, I am quite busy. Speaking of that, I should get going. Need to see you again, agent and this operation."

"I'm sure it was." He said back stepping away.

She sighed exiting the building, not liking that interaction, but was now focused on getting back and informing the team of what's happened.

Back over with Mary, she continued with her work regarding her blood. A visitor arrived, that being Sophie.

"Aww, coming to check on me?" Mary smirked cheerfully.

"Yeah, I did. What can I say, I felt worried about you and wanted to check up on you personally." Sophie replied, crossing her arms.

Mary tilted her head. "That's sweet of you, thought I'd drive you away!" She remarked sarcastically with a smile.

"You certainly tried." She replied with sarcasm back. "What are you working on? Seems important, you're working late tonight. Not even trying to ditch your security team to head off to the clinic."

She nodded and put her hands on her hips. "Trying to unravel a mystery. You wouldn't believe me even if I told you."

"Don't trust me enough to share what you're up to?" Sophie questioned.

Mary shook her head. "It's not that, it's just probably nothing." She remarked, not exactly believing that to be true.

"Okay, well I hope you are doing better after everything that happened. Would it be alright if I stick around? Julia had a thing, not exactly sure of what to do with myself now. Can't sleep." Sophie remarked.

"Why didn't you say so? Sure you can stay, we'll have a not sleeping slumber party! I can't sleep either, which is why I'm even bothering with what wherever I'm doing." Mary once again lied, about what she was up to.

"Wouldn't it be a party then and not a slumber party? If there isn't any sleeping." Sophie questioned allowed looking confused.

Mary rolled her eyes at her. "You really need something to drink! Come on, let's unwind. We'll have a nice time and we can forget the slumber part of what I said if it really bothered you so much." Mary replied sarcastically, looking for some drinks, mostly for Sophie and not herself as she didn't want to be intoxicated naturally while working.

She sighed and put up her hands. "Alright, alright. Let's do that. I've been told I've been a bit tense lately."

"Only lately?" Mary remarked slyly.

"Very funny." She grabbed a bottle. "Why do you have so many drinks?" Sophie realized looking around.

Mary shrugged. "What can I say, party time!" She smirked and looked away, wanting to change the subject, while also wanting to keep Sophie distracted while Mary came to her conclusion about what exactly happened to her.

Kate returned to the batcave, while making certain nobody was following her, beginning to feel paranoid of someone watching her now.

Once getting inside and getting the attention of the team, she began to share the experience of what exactly her father was up to. Primarily how much of a threat they all posed, gaining a lot of necessary skills that could take her down in a confrontation. And she wasn't sure where they would strike or when.

After she finished the team was silent for a moment.

Luke was the first to speak up. "We have to find some way to talk some sense into him! And keep you safe until we find a solution. It's not like you are going to stop being Batwoman, the city needs you!"

"You're right about that. I won't stop and the city does need us, all of us." Kate replied pounding about what to do. "I'm not sure if I can trust my dad with the knowledge of me being Batwoman, I've got no idea how he'd possibly react. Not after everything that's happened between us."

"We might have to risk it, all these secrets are piling up." Ryan added, feeling guilty about keeping her own secrets, feeling very conflicted which was apparent from her face looking down.

"It's going to be alright Ryan." Kate reassured.

Luke pressed his forehead. "We just don't know the chain reaction of letting more people into what we're doing. It could be catastrophic! We should think about Mary too, how this could affect her."

"Of course, we'll not make any decisions until she can be here in person." Kate nodded in agreement with him.

"Perhaps I should open my own investigation into what's going on with the Crows, undercover I might be able to find something." Julia suggested, while sounding like she wouldn't be taking no for an answer.

Kate turned to her. "I couldn't ask that of you, I've already asked a lot this year."

She smiled. "Oh luv, you'd never need to ask. Why would I go through the trouble of protecting you on that damned island just to let some Crows get at you. Not a chance."

"Thank you Julia, though I think we should inform Sophie about what's going on." Kate then replied. "She'd want to know at least, she's investated in Batwoman."

Julia nodded along, looking uncertain. "Fine, yeah. We'll let her know about the situation with this anti Batwoman Crow unit. I'll talk to her about it."

"We're going to have to find a way to get ahead of them. And still keep our eyes peeled for Safiyah too." Luke then added.

"Yeah, I don't like at all how much silence there has been from Safiyah since we took down Scarecrow. I highly doubt she's just going to pull out of this whole plan of hers, she's too smart and has an entire army. This isn't over, whatever comes next we have to be ready and hope to keep my dad's team out of our way." Kate replied, looking concerned about the uncertainty of their situation.

"We'll get through it. I've got your back out there." Ryan reminded her.

She smiled. "That you do."

Ryan then yawned. "I should head home, call me if anything comes up." She then departed wanting to get home finally, realizing how late it was.

The rest of the team stayed behind, continuing to discuss the events.

Meanwhile, Jacob Kane was now wrapping up with The Crows for the night about to head out until Brian Krauser came over.

"What do you have to say?" Jacob immediately asked, a bit standoffish not believing it'd be for a good reason his arrival.

"I was speaking with some of the others and we aren't exactly sure why you shared so much information with your daughter. It wasn't necessary to let her into the loop, in fact it seems like a liability to inform an ordinary person about a top secret operation." Krauser stated, trying to sound respectful.

Jacob stood up. "I trust her. You saw her skills and know some of her history, she's not an ordinary person. I trust her more than I trust anybody in this building. I don't appreciate you or any others questioning my reasoning. Why would I lie to my daughter if that was entirely unnecessary?"

"It seems against how classified information should be handled, sir." He continued.

"Thank you for expressing your concern, but I have no doubt, this isn't a problem. Now, was there anything else you wanted to say?" Kane then asked.

Brain looked at him. "We're concerned about lapses in your judgment sir. Perhaps you should be more careful going forward with the decisions you make."

"I dislike your tone." Jacob responded, crossing his arms.

"Sorry, sir." Brain then left, heading out.

Jacob Kane shook his head, not pleased to have his team questioning him. It was clear he'd have to make certain to run a tighter team, or else there would be consequences.

Upon heading out, he decided on going to check on Mary's status before returning home.

Ryan Wilder meanwhile had returned home, naturally finding her love waiting for her looking a bit inpatient and concerned. "Are you okay? Where were you all this time? It's way past normal reasonable hours to work." She pointed out rightfully as Ryan was gone for hours upon hours.

"I'm sorry, I wish I could explain exactly why I was gone for so long. All I can promise you was, I was pretty busy. And Kate asked a friend of hers to speak to me about, you know, Scarecrow. I guess check on me. It helped, though you always help more." Ryan said, hugging her tight, not exactly being truthful about Whisper helping more in this case concerning the whole thing. Not really speaking much about him and the lasting trauma left from Crane.

"It's okay, I just don't want us to drift apart, we'll be together less and less this year. I'm worried about you. And I've got things on my mind, we can talk about it when we get up." She grabbed Ryan's hand. "You're the love of my life, I don't want to lose you."

"And you are mine, nobody is losing anybody I swear. All I need to do is get my schedule worked out. Now things are turning around for the better, I think I could." Ryan said, not exactly sure if that was possible and then hugged her tight. "I keep thinking about Scarecrow. I keep having nightmares. That first night, I slept amazingly tucked right next to you. Then I just keep thinking about him."

She looked Ryan in the eyes. "It's alright, he's dead and there isn't a damn thing he can do to you from the grave. We have to move on."

"I'm trying hard to. He's left a toll on me that won't go away easily, being with you and getting pep talks have helped, but I still haven't gotten past it yet." Ryan admitted.

"It's hard getting past what's happened I know and we will. Maybe leaving Gotham in the past would help." She then suggested looking genuine.

Ryan turned away. "I don't know, you really mean it? You want to leave Gotham?"

"It was only a thought, I don't know for certain. All I know is that this city has caused us both a lot of trouble and pain." She replied, going to lay down.

"I understand." She held her closely. "We should have a date night tomorrow, we haven't had one in ages. How about that?"

She smiled, turning to Ryan. "I'd love that."

The two then shortly started to drift to sleep, however Whisper was having more trouble continuing to wonder about why Ryan was away so much, unable to not think about it. Wondering if the woman she loved so dearly was lying to her face.

Elsewhere, Mary kept on working, seeming to come to a conclusion silently while Sophie kept being distracted now looking out the window, noticing something unusual going on outside.

"No, no." She shook her head. "I've drank too much."

"You've only drunk a few shots from a small glass, that really isn't too much. Though I've got a suspicion you don't drink a lot."

Sophie rolled her eyes at her. "It doesn't take a detective to reach that conclusion. I'm going to check with the guards, just to make sure everything is alright. I got a bad-" She was cut off after two of the Crows from outside rushed in slamming the door.

"We have multiple shooters! Get away from the windows! Stay down!" One of them shouted while looking around the apartment.

The other Crow tried barricading the door. "The other 3 are down. We need to call for backup right now!"

Sophie was already right on that trying to call 911 first and failing, then trying the Crows having the same results. "Phone isn't working, damn. They might be jamming it! Mary find, somewhere to hide!"

"What about all of you?" Mary asked, looking concerned.

A bullet came through the window hitting one of the Crows killing them.

The last one crawled over to Sophie giving them a spare gun. "I've got an idea, they're trying to be silent. I'll fire out the window, surely it'll get the attention of someone." The Crow suggested.

"I'll cover you." Sophie agreed as they moved to the window.

The Crow started firing until running out of bullets, going to reload.

During that, the door busted open with the crow being shot non fatal. Gunmen stormed inside with their fingers egure on the trigger.

"Don't move a muscle." They said sinisterly and went to grab Mary, as they approached carefully Sophie moved in front of her. Unfortunately they still approached grabbing onto her as she didn't pull the trigger pinning her to the ground grabbing onto Mary as she struggled hard to break loose.

As the shooters positioned themselves, Safiyah walked in holding a gun shooting the remaining Crow dead.

"I'm sorry." Sophie put her head against the ground upon seeing this blaming herself for not helping more.

"Grab the research and tie up Ms. Moore. She can explain to the police what's happened. Besides my involvement of course. Not that there is any evidence besides your word anyways." She said, kneeling down in front of her as Mary was dragged out.

"Please, don't do this." Sophie pleaded. "Leave her alone."

"Kindly would you inform Kate Kane that this most certainly is personal, have to love how things lined up that way." Safiyah replied, staring her down.

Sophie tried to struggle, attempting to attack, failing to move enough. "Why are you doing this?"

"Simple, I hate Kate Kane and Batwoman, equally so. She's a liar and manipulator, you wouldn't believe me I know, but it's true. You aren't even aware of how much secrets are kept from you, poor woman." Safiyah mocked. "And remember to not dare speak a word of this to anyone who could arrest me. Or else I'll happily pay a visit to your family. That mother and sister of yours, if you love them. Be careful who you talk to." Safiyah turned to leave, heading outside with her face covered, throwing Mary into a truck.

Preparing to leave in 3 vehicles, Jacob Kane was pulling up onto the scene spotting this going on, immediately going into action ramming into one of the cars, pulling out his weapon shooting at the drivers attempting to put an end to this. Unfortunately for him, Safiyah's people were well armed and protected, firing far more bullets into his car then he could match back. This forced him to retract out of his car, getting behind it trying to fight back. Failing as they drove away.

Jacob instantly reached for his phone. "This is commander Jacob Kane of Crows security, my daughter has just been kidnapped. I need help now!" He shouted, watching helplessly as Mary was taken away to an uncertain fate.

Batwoman

In Response To CG

Thank you. I'm glad to be back too. That's good to hear, I'm glad it all turned out in the best way I could do. That's my mistake with that, I forgot that in this version the world isn't aware of Beth being Alice. I keep forgetting about it due to the canon version and I guess I just assumed some people know. I understand that, I might go fix that or maybe Sam Lane just used his resources to know this, though Jacob surely would've asked how he knew regardless, so yeah I probably will just end up cleaning up that plot hole and the others too maybe. I forgot about that, for some reason I thought he went back with the rest of the future team, I recall Diggle being told about what his son did now. I understand, that's an opse on my part as well. I should've double checked myself about both of those. Ironically I was originally going to have something like the correct version happen, but I thought I got it wrong and went with that instead.

I decided on not doing it this episode wanting to keep Sophie that kryptonite bombshell for a little longer closer to the finale, along with her capture, it'd make the most sense Kate isn't available to help Sophie once she's in danger being head deep into trouble with Safiyah's final plans. I'm glad I waited to not write too much, as I almost had Jacob spill he had acquired Kryptonite which of course wouldn't make any sense if he did and would derail Sophie's plot (Hopefully I would've remembered that myself before posting) I love all your thoughts about what to do with Sophie, I had more or less the exact same thoughts about all of it. I'll surely be doing that, probably episode 22 or 23 I'm thinking right now. I can't recall if I asked already, (my memory is awful) but why is Luke going to keep the upgrade a secret from Kate? Unless I'm misunderstanding or missing the obvious answer. (I probably am no doubt) My thought was he either didn't have another time to or he didn't want to concern her about the Kryptonite bullet being in play?

That makes perfect sense it'd continue getting to that point and I'm very glad I was able to handle it well thank you. Happy to hear as well I did a good job introducing him and hinting towards that, I was happy to finally bring in the character. Sounds good. Also thank you for pointing out where that was.

Also I sincerely hope that Mary's abduction was handled alright, I made it probably more dramatic than expected. I wanted it to feel like a devastating attack and defeat not being able to keep her safe.

I was pretty surprised at first to not see random topics for sure I am always curious what you come up with. (Happy to see you thought of some topics of course) I understand that you are running out of topics that make sense after all this time but I'll sure you'll continue to think of topics. Thank you! We're getting closer to the end of season 2, looking like it's gone well.

(Also thank you for all the descriptions for the training facility, I sure as heck would've never been able to think of all that)

Brian Krauser Casting - I went with Sam Jaeger cause I see him more fitting the role then the other guy, this is primarily due to I know the other guy was on a show called "Suits" for a long time that my mom watched regularly so I can't personally distance him from that character into being the villain he is here.

In regards to that Spider-Man fan-fiction story, I just could tell your writing style which isn't an issue, I'm not sure if all the reviews were you I could be very well wrong about that. Nice they do a good job of the story, I hope the story will keep going. Hopefully they'll keep on posting.

Elaboration on the Interactions between Kate and Lena in S3E10:

#1. I agree with your thinking, it makes a lot more sense going with that instead.

#2. That makes sense it would be a filler episode while dealing with Sophie's mother's death. I don't think I could have a full episode of that, I wonder who the villain will end up being for that one with needing Lena Luther for help. I like the idea a lot.

#3. It makes sense someone would have informed her about everything going on with Lex considering that and the threat he posed. I love everything you say and I'll be sure to use all of that during that discussion. Thank you for that.

#4. I like that Kara never mentioned it to Kate about being trapped in the phantom zone, probably not wanting her to worry about it being in the past and Kara more than likely not wanting to add to everything Kate had going on, though I feel like Kate would've still liked to have known about it. (That's my thought anyways) I like the discussion you described there a lot. I'd be excited to write that thank you for suggesting all of this.

#5. I'm not exactly sure either, but I'm sure I'll figure it out when the time comes to write that conversation. It'd be good to bring it up.

#6. I like that a lot by the end Kate would bring up Zatanna and I agree they'd probably get along. I love everything you've suggested for this episode.

#7. Alrighty I'll be sure to do that, I'm curious how that story is going to end and if the comics might continue. (Hopefully this ages well)

Suggestions for S3E5 of your Story:

Synopsis Suggestion: I love the synopsis you suggested. I'd be happy to use that.

"When a new art thief appears to capitalize on Gotham's weakened state, Team Batwoman becomes confused by the inconsistencies of the aftermath of various crime scenes. Their attempts to identify the thief is further complicated by Jacob's sudden overprotectiveness and the need to take command. Also, in light of recent events, Montoya makes preparations to create a special task force in order to better help protect Gotham; with one of her potential recruits on her list being a very familiar police officer who has just transferred from the National City Police Department."

I love your synopsis a lot. It made me very excited reading it and all your explanations below.

Explanations:

#1. I like that inconsistency a lot, it gives a lot of intrigue of what is going on behind the crimes being committed. It's great. I love that a lot.

#2. I like it a lot that Wolf Spider would be a fake antagonist. That makes sense. I don't really know anything about the comic version unfortunately and I do like the Young Justice version as it's a Spectacular Spider-Man reference. And I'll be sure to go with them being around the same age.

#3. Alrighty, I'll do my best to keep it more or less the same as the canon version for the backstory and connection to Kate, it'd be nice to have that connection when she's actually there.

#4. It makes sense why the team would initially believe that it's clever to frame someone with a similar m.o. I also like the one example of evidence they find to prove something else is going on.

#5. That makes sense he'd naturally be quite unhappy about that happening especially with that code of honor which is a nice distinction between the two. It's understandable why he'd certainly want to team up to clear his name of those crimes not committed by himself and be open to temporarily team up with Batwoman of course not knowing who she is yet. I love it a lot using those wrist devices as the turning point to finally beating him as it was also key evidence in creaking open the mystery too.

#6. I love that a lot that he'd ultimately have a change of heart deciding to return the stolen art in the end, not being a hardened criminal who is open to reversing their crimes. I like criminals who are interesting in that way.

#7. I like it a lot. It would only be implied he figured it out and his positive reaction makes sense. I'm sure he'd be proud of Kate horbering no negative feelings towards Batwoman already and he seems like the type of friend who'd keep it a secret for the two reasons you gave.

#8. Okay I'll be sure to add some references there, it seems fitting and I'm never opposed to having anything Spider-Man.

In closing, I'm excited for this introduction episode for Wolf Spider. It's going to be a stacked one. I'm looking forward to thinking of any future appearances for the character, I was thinking of having them show up eventually and I think your idea is a great standing point for him.

I can understand your reasoning for thinking differently about that, I'm just curious how that would work out if it'd make it more complicated maybe? Would Gilda Dent be separated from Harvey then or something? I'm just wondering what exactly this would mean for everything that was going on with Jessica Dent if anything would have to be altered for her drastically at all. I can imagine Misha Collins as Harvey Dent for the Arrowverse, while at the sametime being for that Gotham Knights show. I'm curious to talk more about that.

About Superman & Lois - I was completely surprised that it never took place in the Arrowverse, I guess that continuity issue is fixed at least. It's quite frustrating, yeah they never came out saying it was never a part of the Arrowverse all along, kinda making a hype too around that mystery and reveal. I'm not sure if it's going to mess up the series, that show is already taking a pretty big leap I guess by just having to have a Diggle who is basically the exact same as the other Diggle, it's possible the real Arrowverse Superman might be going through similar events, but probably not the same as now it's really unclear the age of his boys there and other characters status so I guess I need to be really careful about what I say about Arrowverse Superman. Overall, it's pretty annoying this has happened, now I guess I'll have to go with shrugging it over as Criss changed stuff. (I guess one alarm bell I always had about it being canon besides the suit and lack of mentions to Supergirl, was the boys. It would've been pretty weird for Clark to have an entirely new life with teenage boys I assume after having both memoires after the Crisis was over? So they probably should've brought that up) I'm glad it doesn't affect the crossover story there, but I really think it'll be fine. We'll just have to accept this going forward and the unfortunate convenience of both Supermen being pretty similar to a lot of details.

(I guess little tangent knowing this now kinda makes things more frustrating for Superman and Lois not doing more with the endless lore of Superman. I thought the reason they were playing safe so far was because of the Arrowverse. Like not having any Luthers, Jimmy (or James) Olson, Parry White, more supporting characters, it's 80 years of history and they can do whenever they want without it being connected to the Arrowverse. At least any mentions, I think Lex was only briefly brought up when they thought John Henry was him from another earth.

I don't know, I understand the series is doing it's own things and taking things a lot slower to focus on family, it's just more disappointing now the show plays itself so safe. Before there was a reason, now there is no reason. Superman is a lot of fun and I hope they have a couple of fun moments or episodes using the great lore at their disposal in the future. I really loved all the other world stuff, just wish there was more. And I hope Lex Luther makes his grand appearance sooner than later. I really want to see Superman have to deal with his greatest enemy with his sons and John Henry.

I hope you enjoyed the season though apart from the revelation about the Arrowverse, which does also make me worry how the Batwoman crossover was going to happen then.

I can agree with your headcanon there it would pretty much work. It works well enough to be canon for this series, I'm okay with season 1 of the show existing in the Arrowverse basically being the same in the two universes. I think however yeah we'll just go with the events of season 2 not happening in the Arrowverse Superman's life. It'd be a big deal if the two earths were about to merge. (Though I guess that's just an issue with shared universe shows that doesn't really seem avoidable for the most part)

Suggestions for John Diggle's Season 3 Episode in your Story:

1. That all sounds good to me.

2. I like that a lot Diggle stopping by to help either with the villain at that time or the big bads, I guess we'll figure that out later on. I'm looking forward to Diggle's return.

3. I'll be sure to add that joke thank you.

4. Thank you for the reminder about that, I'll be sure to remember that when the time comes.

5. That's a great idea having Diggle address what Jacob attempted to do during the end of season 2, makes sense ARGUS would become aware of that and that Diggle would have things to say about the aftermath.

6. I love everything you describe there and having the two siblings have a confrontation at their father's grave. Sounds like a great chunk of the episode I'm excited to write for all that going on with the two of them. Thank you for reminding me of all this and adding to it.

Failsafe - I love the entire description you give for this series version of Failsafe, involving this reporter character. It's a great idea to have it become activated due to this person making the story without all the facts and Failsafe being damaged due to the events that destroyed Wayne Manor. I'm very excited to include this in a future season. You came up with a great concept. I hope the comic version is just as interesting, I'm a bit skeptical about it in the comics, but I'm all for your version fitting into the context of the series seamlessly.

For the next episode I'm going in thinking the team will be on the hunt for Mary, while searching for every lead on Safiyah relizing to their horror about the virus and the bigger theat that's posed. While also contuining to build up Whisper's growing suspicion of Ryan leading closer and closer to her realizing the truth I think in 22 or 23? On top of that Jacob having gulity over not saving Mary becoming detirmend to find her and finding a way to put the blame further on Batwoman for this. Along with Sophie having her own gulity leading to her wanting to help getting her invloved with investigating Knightfall wanting to do something while the hunt is on for Mary. How does that sound? I just really want to get these last 4 right, I feel like with all the postings you have given by far the finale should be easier to write for it should be a slam dunk with it's quality.

In closing, I'm hoping I'll be able to finish season 2 by the 2 year anniversary of this series, which is insane how close we're coming to it. (I like when things line up like that, but not sure if it will, sadly) It's unfortunate how damn long I've taken with the series. I do apologize deeply for that, I can't say it's going to get better, I really don't know when I'll be more productive again. My streak clapased about 2 months ago now and I've been working slowly again. My realistic goal is to start season 3 by the end of this year even if only the first episode. My life hasn't really been the same since around the time of starting this series. Hopefully it'll be getting better and I'll feel more motivated to write again. It really is a frustrating feeling desperately wanting to get work done but not feeling any motivation to type what I want to. I think about the series everyday.

Anyways, we're finally in the final stretch of the final 4 episodes 21-24. Here's to getting there at least!
