LHRU: Loud Heroes [Chapter 1 (Aleph) - Genesis: Birth of New Heroes]

AN: This is yet another Loud House AU fan-fiction story, inspired from longer running story called "Loud Heroes". Yes, this is yet another TLH hero story fic, and frankly… despite certain cinematic universes (MCU, DCEU, Invincible, MHA, etc.) getting either too bland or too many, it's hard to ever get tired of them. We loved them so much, often we make our own various takes of it. This take may contain dark and mature themes but only subtle as to keep it appropriate for Teens/Shounens (Young Males). This will have a separate continuity from my Dawn of Injustice Trilogy [Loud Heroes AU] as the third story [Crisis on the Many-Verse] may come as a failure due to my idea of involving Tekken characters.
So, I hope you enjoy this story. I'm still using Hebrew terms for chapter numbers… what can I say, I just like ancient languages that had theological significance [Hebrew/Aramaic, Greek, Latin, Arabic, Sanskrit-Mandarin, etc.].

-Michigan, Year 2017, Friday-
Thanks to Savitara's [Future Lori] interference with the Particle Accelerator, Lisa's invention exploded and released a powerful emission of radiation and Dark Matter. This in turn placed them in comatose while their body adjusts in the quick succession of gene evolution and latent genes that activates, transforming them into what soon will be called Homo Sapiens Superior [Meta-Humans]… to which is that they vary with normal Homo Sapiens/Human Beings by having a Meta-Gene Trait. This will give a design on what abilities they may possess the moment they awoken from their slumber. The discharge knocked all 10 sisters and Lincoln as they are exposed to the energies. The patriarch of the Loud family, Lynn Loud Sr rushed to the second floor followed by his wife, Rita Loud. When they both saw their offspring unconscious from the blast, they immediately contacted the emergency hotline to have an ambulance ready to take them to the nearest medical ward.
Somewhere in the region, there's an institute for mathematicians and scientists of varying branches that monitored any occurrence that may transpire. This place is called Royal Woods Science and Technology Department and they are funded by the government. A certain female scientist held her mug and drank some contents while scanning through her monitor as it alerted her of a sudden energy efflux. She view it and located the source, 1216 Franklin Avenue. She then adjusted her glasses and issued a command to some of her subordinates to investigate the source of the outflow of energy and trace whether or not it may be harmful or contains specific radiations such as Dark Matter or Antimatter traces. After the scientist accepted this command, she muted herself and stayed within her office, continuing on drinking the content of her mug while muttering the words, "So it begins. I won't let the Tetherby's get this one from me. Not even my Adamas siblings will intervene against me".
-Saturday-
The seventh day of the week, a Sabbath to some beliefs, a day of rest. But Lynn Sr and Rita are still restless and worried of their unconscious children. Clyde McBride visited Lincoln at the hospital that Lincoln is placed, accompanied by his fathers; Howard and Harold. Ronnie Anne was there too, with her older brother, Bobby Santiago. He is at his girlfriend, Lori's side, praying for her wake. The nurse in charge of them is none other than the mother of the mentioned Santiago siblings, Maria Casagrande-Santiago [hyphenated due to her status as divorce/separated from her ex-husband: Arturo Santiago]. Ronnie is at the entrance of Lincoln's ward, feeling worried about her (boy)friend's condition, not the first time she shown vulnerability but a genuine one considering the predicament.
It was in this day that things went awry due to certain complications…
See, during the 8th hour of the day (8:00 AM/800 Hrs), unknown phenomenon occurs to a certain degree. By order, Lori's heart rate spiked and flattened at rapid rate, and she only stabilize when defibrillator is used to her… and often creating shocks or sudden short circuiting. Leni's cells became unstable certain degree that some hair had fallen or some of her skin seemed to have molted or shed from her body like a snake… only to return as if she's healed or renewed. Luna's case, quite similar to Lori but her body is conducting electricity that almost rendered the whole hospital into a blackout when the defibrillator was used. Luan's… her body vanishes and only when there's minimal light does her body reverts to normal… as if her body became mirrors, reflecting the light to stealth her… making her invisible. Lynn, her body became hard to dent that relaxant was needed to be given to her orally before any needles could pierce her, her skin became that durable and could harden only when in duress. Lucy's room became frigid as it was found that her body emitted some refrigerating miasma, from the immediate heat being absorbed, thus deactivating the room's air conditioner. Lana's biology shifts that she could heal rapidly, her saliva often contains mucus, adhesive or even venomous or viscous substance. Often times, some nurses caught her having a tail, only to vanish and replaced with other features such as talons, claws, fangs or gills. Lola's case is similar to Lynn's except that the needles are broken due to her skin becoming crystallized and reverted to normal flesh when nothing is inserted… and the nurses do not know why. Lisa… quite normal but… often times, her scans glitches and sometimes, the nurses became emotionally inflicted… as if certain memories was tampered and viewed in their minds. Lily, again just as Lisa's, is pretty normal. But her nursery room became littered with seeds of various flowering plants for unknown reason. The janitors needed to keep up on cleaning but some took samples for selling.
The one's that had been difficult of them all is Lincoln. You see, during certain episodic spasms… his room became heated to a point that going inside feels like running out to the open with the summer heat of a boiling sun. They have to readjust the air conditioning machine to maximize the chilling flow of the ventilation, which proved to be difficult as his heat kept up. Eventually, the room's temperature became neutral, not too hot nor too cold. The air conditioner is at max level yet the nurses felt no chill, nor heat.
Both parents, along with Clyde and his dads, Bobby and Ronnie, grew worried of their condition but Maria assured them that they will be alright. When Lynn Sr went home, he notices certain people in suits, some in laboratory gowns, while some in protective coats, are investigating his home. He asked on their intentions which was met with discreet answers. They are looking from potential dangerous substance that may have caused the explosion or may threaten the people, when in truth is that they are looking for traces of anything related to dark matter or antimatter that may threaten the stability of Royal Woods. Lynn Sr told them the location of the explosion as he became firm to ground Lisa about dangerous invention and limit her scientific endeavors. The scientist assured him that it may not be necessary if the explosion was cause by nothing too dangerous. Still, the Loud patriarch needed to take action and give a light punishment to his genius daughter if they ever wake up.
[Note: Lynn Sr hasn't gotten his restaurant yet. This is an AU that began from previous seasons, so certain episodes may not be mentioned/included here… yet. And yes, sorry if you hate NSL but it'll canon here. But that's the only one that I'll add… maybe. Will Lynn Sr get his dream restaurant? Yes, soon. Relative Chaos may not be included too.]
The patriarch told the men about where the unfortunate victims, his children, are held… Royal Woods Hospital. Once told, the men contacted their boss and with eagerness, she decided to go out and ordered them to collect any useful information or technology they can use while those from Tetherby Industries are left unawares. The woman gathered some of her invention and then used her vehicle to immediately rush to the hospital… which took only a few minutes thanks to the nigh distance of her institute to the medical building. The men then gathered anything they could use or found and decided to return back home, as they said "For Lady CL (Ciel)". Once she made it to the hospital, she requested the doctors to permit her to aid the Loud siblings due to their condition being a different case from the rest of the patients. A rare phenomena of rapid gene evolution caused by some form of experiment or radiation for the blast they've sustained. Being a trusted genius and contributor to the fields of science; both in medicinal and physics, she was given the permission to continue. By the 8th hour afternoon (8:00 PM/2000 Hrs), the spasms occurred once more. Each of the Loud sisters underwent into another unstable condition by which had caused a panic amongst the hospital staff. The female scientist remained calm and readied her equipment to proceed with the aid [and certain vials for testing purposes]. With her help, they are able to stabilize the Loud siblings.
"Please leave me with them for a while. I needed to test something." said the female scientist as the nurses and doctor left her. Once she's alone with them, she took blood samples and energy reading from them. She found certain concentrates of Dark Matter traces on their DNA that rapidly activated their latent Meta-Genes. "It's a good thing I have this device that counteracts Dark Matter energy to temporarily deactivate their Meta-Gene powers. With that, I am able to attain samples. The boy was difficult as he was heating up. We had to maximize the cooling system and use multiple fire extinguisher to ensure a sample. This may help in further research. Who knows? Maybe they'll be heroes… with that I could use them as pawns against that bastard Tetherby and his cohorts. But for now… I'll have to bring these samples back at the institute before I decide to take them under my supervision… Hopefully, Lisa will trust me once again."
Eventually the night is calm for the hospital staff and things had not repeated. But even the most quiet of nights, are when those who hide are most active… like rats ready to play without the cat on watch.
-First Dreamscape-
In an endless void of dark, two wondering lights found themselves wondering as they took form. One soul of green formed as Lisa Loud while the other, the aquamarine blue soul formed into Lori Loud.
"Where are we?" Lori asked as she looked at Lisa. "I don't reckon to know, eldest sister", she replied. "Then at the very least, tell me why are we literally together here?", Lori questioned. "Lori, genius as I may, I'm not nigh omniscient. There are even things I do not understand even as my scientific mind", Lisa respond. They both tried to walk together in any direction to find a way to escape but the void of total darkness gave them no clue to where to advance. "Oh no, is this the afterlife? If so, are we literally being judged!? Oh God, please let this not be Hell! I know I've been a terrible sister but please, forgive me!", Lori begged but Lisa scoffed at her… although she too worries if her sister is right and they both somehow found themselves in the afterlife and the endless void is their fate for their earthly deeds. Soon the lightning flashed on the endless void and encircled both of the girls together, surrounding them by gray and aqua blue colored tornado… a storm with blue electricity formed a portal where an armored speedster appeared before them but also being pulled back by the rift.
"Ronnie… Anne… Santiago… and… Paige… Angelique" it spoke.
"What? What does Ronnie Anne had to do with this?" Lori asked, sensing something troubling.
"They… are the… key. The girls… will be… Lincoln's… wives…" It responded.
"So our dear brother committed bigamy and had two wives. But what did it means that they are the key?", Lisa asked.
"Paige… Angelique… bore… Lincoln's son… But… her… death… broke him…" It spoke.
"What? So you're telling me…", Lori said while confused.
"His… brokenness… brought calamity… to Royal Woods… to the whole… Michigan… But Ronnie Anne… Helped him heal." the armored being said. But the storm grew stronger and the pull on the entity is getting more powerful. Both Lisa and Lori are being pulled too.
"If our elder brother healed from losing his wife, why are you telling this now?", Lisa asked.
"If Ronnie… dies too… Lincoln… will be… more broken… than before… he will shatter… and… he'll burn the world… to the ground… until the Earth… becomes… another Sun… You must… not let… any one of them… die… or at least… save one of them!" the entity spoke as her body is being dragged back into the portal. A lightning stuck the entity's mask, revealing a slightly older face of Lori with some of the mask covering the other half of her slowly evaporating face.
"I'll save Ronnie. I literally don't know of this Paige… But I won't allow my future in-law and Lincoln's future wife to die! I swear to you!", Lori shouted as the storm then was engulfed by orange color below. The storm became mixed with orange, silver and blue storms with flames below… as if Hell hath opened its mouth. Lightning became stronger and mixed with blue and orange.
"Assemble you team… lead them… save Royal Woods… save our brother… save Ronnie… Be the hero… you're all meant to be! Be the Loud sibling Heroes! Use your powers and… train to be strong! The world… depends… on it!" the Lori-doppelganger last spoke as she was swallowed by the rift and it encloses. The storms grew stronger and more turbulent as whispers of the wind uttered certain words…
I have… faith… in… you all… May… Ieouah/Ehyeh Elohim… grace you.
Flames then engulfed the storm as Lori and Lisa huddled together, as if awaiting their final judgement. But instead of being met with the bowels of perdition, they are returned to the land of living.
-Sunday 8:00/800 Hrs-
Lincoln awoken from his 3-day slumber, all groggy and bemused from what happened to them. "Where am I?", the Loud boy asked. "Oh thank goodness, you're awake! You're at the hospital dear", said the nurse. "Oh… Mrs. Santiago! But what happened to me?", Lincoln asked. "I'm going to be honest, Lincoln. I do not know. You have no fever nor any sign of illness according to Madam Linnaeus, yet whenever you had spasms yesterday… the whole room felt heated. We had to maximize the air conditioner to counter your bodily heat", she replied. "Heated? What was my last temperature check?", Lincoln asked. Maria replied, "Almost twice the normal boiling point. 200 degrees in Centigrade". Lincoln's mouth agape as he was shocked on this revelation. "What is happening to me? What about my sisters? Are they okay?", he rushed his words. Maria assured him with her hand on her shoulder, "Lincoln, calm down. If you panic, you might burn up again. Your sisters are fine, but Dr. Linnaeus is still testing and checking them to make sure they are okay". "Can I at least, see them?", Lincoln asked. Maria nodded in agreement and allowed Lincoln to exit his ward.
Maria contacted her family to tell the good news. Ronnie Anne and Bobby were ecstatic to hear that Lincoln and the rest of his sisters have awoken, at last. But they cannot come visiting for now as they are busy with their things. Clyde and his dads are away to relax for now, but soon received news of their recovery so they kept their respite short in order to return and visit them. At the hospital, each ward that once resided by the Loud sisters are vacated as they are waiting at the lobby for the doctor-in-charge of their healthcare. The parent s are patiently waiting, but excited to finally have their children return home. When Lincoln had arrived, a female doctor wearing square-framed glasses, laboratory gown, hair tied as a bun. "Caroline Linnaeus!", Lisa spoke. "Lisa, you know her?", Rita asked. Lisa replied in annoyance, "I do… she was a colleague… and ex-friend". Maria Santiago left them to their devices as the female doctor then finalizes their condition. "Although, there was certain unexplained phenomenon… I was able to help elevate their conditions but it's still recommended to come visit us for regular checkups. As of now, I'm allowing you all to go back home as I now see that all of you are now in optimum condition. But do take plenty of rest and… [hands her card from RW Science/Tech Dept.] if anything is to occur, whether unusual or not, do not hesitate to contact me. Oh and Lisa… at least I've repaid a debt I owe you from before", Caroline Linnaeus spoke.
The parents readied and packed up whatever they have brought to the hospital and prepared Vanzilla for transporting the Loud children. Meanwhile, Dr. Linnaeus is packing up her devices and apparatuses as she prepares to return to RW Sci-Tech Dept. "I hoped they would trust me. They could be used as tools for me to stop the his scheme. Tetherby must be writing his last will and testament by now. He's not going to last for long now that I had my fellow Wills steal his Heart and hide it away. That greedy snob will finally be done. As for Flip… maybe I could have changed that greedy pig but… that would be immoral on my part. Well, I've already gave my apologies to Lisa Loud. I'm not sure she's keen in forgiving me but I really need her for my plans.", she mumbles as she finished packing up. She then looked at the ceiling and sighed, "Immortal's finally done with his ways, Imitate's still out there and must be looking for the future Impede. Impulse… I can't have her involved as she had to deal with the supernatural and the rouge churches. Immaculate's too good and kind for schemes. Immersed too hedonistic and doesn't care. And I'm still the Impossible… after 150 years of inheriting it. I wonder what comes next for me as even after all this, things will not stay are they are… Immortal's cohorts will try to regain power over the underground network. I can't let that happen or I'll be inconvenienced on helping humanity to evolve and develop". She then left the room but not before meeting Lisa.
While the rest of the siblings packed up, Lisa stayed for a while to speak with Linnaeus at her office doors. "What are you scheming, you wretch?", Lisa asked. Caroline responded with a sigh, "Nothing… I just simply repaid a debt I owe… and apologized. But I wanna ask, why did I traced Dark Matter and some radioactive energy from you and your house"? Lisa, eyes widened, spoke bluntly, "So you did went to my house. Are you going to take what's mine? I will not let you". But Linnaeus reassured her, "I don't intend to but that was dangerous. A particle accelerator… that was once my dream until Lord Te-…nevermind. Just be extra cautious. And good job on not using Uranium-based material for the energy source. That could have killed you and your siblings if it was". Lisa lisps, "You're scheming something. I don't know what but I will find out. Hand's off my family, final warning". "Ye of little faith, Lisa. But then again, we are women of science. Faith is hardly we used nor needed. But I gave my word, no harm will be placed on your siblings but… I will keep tabs in case a phenomenon happen. I suggest you do the same as your fate will take a good turn.", the female doctor responded before leaving Lisa to herself. She used her vehicle to return to the institute and review the Meta-Gene readings she had gathered and the amount of Dark Matter and radioactive energies she obtained.
Lisa rendezvous with the rest of her family and had them return home. Before they did, they ordered a takeout lunch at Burpin' Burger just to quell their hunger. They have not taken proper food since their comatose state and barely kept nutrients from the dextrose and IV bags. They ate their food and kept any leftovers for later. Once they reached home, they immediately rushed back to their rooms, with Rita and Lynn warning them to be careful and not to move too much. Once they've settled in, both parents contacted their construction workers to pay for the repair bills from Lisa's room. The young scientific mind saw that most of her equipment, including her broken particle accelerator was missing. "Lisa, we kept your kit in the attic for now. You are grounded for two weeks and I hope you have learned from this event. I cannot risk anyone getting hurt or worse. No experiments nor science for now. You can study or write books of theories but that's as far as anything science related you can get.", Lynn Sr sternly said. Lisa understood as the error on her invention jeopardized their physical health. However, she still felt guilt on the matter and fearful of what punishment she may get from her error.
"Honestly, this girl may be a brilliant mind but I keep forgetting that she's still a naive child. Her dream of being a great scientist is nice and all but she's going to end us all if she's not given proper morals and risk awareness. Better that I ground her and hid her inventions for now… although, I had those men take the one that caused all this. That should serve as her lesson.", the Loud patriarch thought but… somehow, Lisa heard what her father was thinking. No, it has to be a coincidence but she'd rather not risk his ire so she kept quiet. Somehow, despite their uncanny routine, the family stayed the opposite of the name: Quiet. They rested when they returned home, rushing through the hall up to their bedrooms. Some slept, others tried to play or spend the weekend away before school begins once more in Monday.
It was still an hour after their lunch noon. Lori was resting for she didn't have the time to pick up her phone and call her beloved boyfriend: Bobby Santiago. She just wanted to rest and recover from all she had to go through. And thus begin her dream.
-Second Dreamscape-
Lori once more walked through an endless void of darkness. It seems that her first dream wasn't finished as the same storm once more surrounded her… without Lisa for now as she is awake and attempting to sort out her equipment. Lisa was only allowed the non-hazardous such as books and computer but her beakers and chemical kits are hidden away. Lori shielded herself from the violent winds of the storm but each blow spoke some kind of premonition of the future to come. Some are from months or years away, while some… a decade or two from the future… when her siblings had grown up.
"Fine! It's true Luna… I once tried to make our relationship work… I did love you… I still do, but the truth is, I did that to get close to your brother! I was in love with him first and it's your fault why!" a female voice shouted. Lori had no idea who since the wind only made a voice, never a face. Still, to hear such set word made her wonder. Is Luna into girls? What happened on the time she gawked at Hugh the Tutor back then? Was she bi? Questions for later as another blow of wind passed by her.
"ONE YEAR! IT'S GOING TO TAKE ONE YEAR TO GATHER AN ARMY FROM THE BELLIES OF THE UNDERGROUND NETWORK ITSELF!", a man shouted in great anger… rage that felt like burning Lori's skin. The heatwave of the wind continued as it spoke more. "No! Father, don't do this!", a voice of a boy spoke. "What do you mean, no? Your mother is the only reason on Earth for me to tolerate HUMAN LIFE!", the man spoke. "Then find the group responsible. Do you think I'm not angry at what happened to her? Those 'human' terrorist took away my mother! The church loved her, the orphans grieve for her! Your sisters lamented for you and her! Are you gonna dishonor her by wiping innocent life!?", the boy argued. Lori felt even more intense heat from the winds. "THERE ARE NO MORE INNOCENT! NOT ANYMORE! THEY'VE BEEN GIVEN THEIR LAWS AND WE OBEYED THEM… YET HERE WE ARE… STILL ON THE LOSING SIDE! NO MORE… I WILL NOT LET THESE FEEBLE FOOLS ACT LIKE COWARDS HAVING POWER.", the man acclaimed. "No, father. I will not allow you to do this. I grieve for you, but a coup d'etat is not the way", the boy spoke as if readying for a battle. Lori heard as she was being hurt by the heat of the winds from the storm, grunting, groaning and shouting of pain, attacks and wounds. Until it was halted from another voice.
"Lincoln, Logan, enough!" a woman's voice shouted as the winds cooled down. "Lucy!/Aunt! Ronalda!/Mistress!" both boys spoke. "Logan, you may not be born from me… but I am close enough to be your mother as your father once with me. As for you, Lame-O… Are you really going to kill your own flesh and blood!? I expected better from you! He's your son for God's sake!", the voice (Ronnie) spoke. Lori contemplated… indeed Lincoln did have another woman before Ronnie. And from her, bore her brother's first child: a son named Logan. "Stay out Ronalda. I don't want to hurt you but not one will stop me from exacting revenge. Tetherby had his way when he brainwashed the government of our danger. But I will not be a puppet on people who can't ENFORCE THE LAW GOOD ENOUGH!", the man (Lincoln) declared. "Then let us join you! But a coup may not be a solution. We can stop those responsible but hurting those men will only make us monster!", a monotonic voice (Lucy) spoke.
The winds slowed down as Lori meditated on these revelations. From the circumferential storm, various lightnings struck with colors. Scarlet, Azure, Purple, Cyan, and Gold struck and formed some kind for portal. Once it manifested, 11 stars formed each representing them. Aqua blitz through, Teal multiply and unite in exponential numbers, Purple crackle thunderously, Yellow blinked, vanishes and reappears, Red shakes, Orange burns, Black formed icy winds, Navy formed a silhouette of a wolf paw, Pink gleams in crystalline, Green circles and Lilac bore botanic life. Then another violent hot wind blew at Lori, another voice heard. "Well played, Tetherby… to think your influence had reached even criminal network. But you're a fool to think I won't discard my morals… to finally have my peace. I am Lincoln Albert Loud… AND I HAVE HAD ENOUGH! No more! I will rule this country and any trace of the Tetherby shall be burned through history and forgotten! No prison will hold me! No law can fight me! This time… you die!" the voice (Lincoln) declared. "That pendejo had finally snapped. Dios mio! To think that bastard was the one who ordered these goons to kill her.", the woman (Ronnie) pondered.
More winds blew and formed sound of voices.
"Father", "Son"… "This who catastrophe is nothing more than history's longest suicide note!"… "This war must end! Mother wouldn't wanted this!"… "What your mother wanted is for you to grow and be safe! I will make it by continuing this regime!"… "Lincoln, please… no more. I don't want to sound like some kind of rebound girl… but if it helps you heal… I'm there for you. Te amo mucho, Lincoln. Te quiero. Mi corazon late solo por ti."… "I am so sorry Ronnie… I died when she did. I'm hurting the people I loved… I'm hurting instead of protecting. Forgive me. Elohim, Elohim, what have I become?! Why hath thou forsaken me!?"
The winds once again cooled down. But Lori was overwhelmed by the events that she saw… she forced herself to awaken from her dream but it felt like a warning for whatever her future self said to her from that first dream.
-Time: 1300 Hrs [1:00 PM]-
Lori awoken but when she did, the house is somehow back to its normal chaos as things are going in haywire. Lights blinked and flickered, frost mist is emanating from LJ/Lucy's room. Animals chasing at the living room, Lenis… Lenis everywhere, crystals at the pink side of the twin's room, and the prankster's nowhere to be found. But how did it all began? Well, when Lori was asleep having a bad dream, some of the siblings… even Lincoln are experiencing certain phenomenon. Lincoln's body heat increased once more, as if having a fever yet quite energized. He noticed that the lights are flickering and certain electrical appliances (from TV, Fridge, Vacuum Cleaner) are in fritz. He rushed to the open room and saw Luna with her hair arose. "Luna! Are you okay?", Lincoln asked. "Bro! I dunno what's happening. Our stuff are acting weird and my hair's been acting up. When I touch my speaker, it suddenly shorted and burst!", Luna responded. "Okay… breath, try to calm down.", the lone brother instructed the fraulein and the electronics ceased from function. "Phew… Thanks bro. Oh wow, dude. You're burning up.", Luna noticed her brother emitting heat. "I know and it's annoying. I can't rest!", Lincoln declared before feeling a chill from behind. He looked and saw frosts on Lucy's room. He rush and the cooling air countered his feverish body. "Lincoln… I'm cold.", Lucy spoke and Lincoln simply hugged her which calmed her down and dispelled the frost while it also chilled his fever down. Lisa then panicked out of her room, having some headache. "Too Many thoughts! Too noisy to hear!", Lisa lisps as on the other room, five Lenis are working together on organizing clothes but still oblivious on what is happening.
Thus to where we are now. Lisa's panic woke Lori up and she starts to notice the topsy-turvy of their house. Luna is still boggled on how there are too many Lenis, causing the lights to flicker for a bit. Lincoln calmed Lisa and helped her breath to clear her thoughts, hoping whatever noise she's hearing dissipates. They went down and saw Lily at the living room with the vase overflowed with flowers and pots with plants. "Weird, I thought the flower wilted and that plant died already. Did mom and dad bought another?", Lincoln asked but continued to the dining room. Lori followed Lincoln but suddenly met with a trap. Lincoln dodged but Lori got hit by the grape jelly from the contraption Luan made. Lori shouted at the prankster but she retorted, "What! That was a grape prank! *laugh* Geddit!?" and earned the ire of the eldest. She fled to the kitchen and was chased but when Lori entered, she vanished. "Where is she!? I just took a bath. And Bobby might visit here. I gotta clean up.", Lori declared. But when she rushed to the bathroom, everything around her moved in slo-mo. Lori felt odd as her body vibrated in great speed before zooming through the bathroom and had herself cleaned up. When she returned, she noticed that only one minute passed. She then went outside to see if Bobby had arrived but she is only met with a ball rolling to her feet. "Hey Lori, could you pass the ball!?", LJ asked. "Tsk, I literally don't have time for this.", Lori said as she picked the ball and threw it to LJ. The ball however rolled underneath Vanzilla.
"Oh, come on!" LJ shouted as she neared the family van and started to lift the vehicle with only one arm. She picked up the ball and placed the van back. "Got it!", LJ said before taking a few steps far and realized something. "Did I just lift the van?", she asked herself. Lori was having none of it; she slapped herself to wake up from what she is seeing and re-entered the house as her boyfriend had not come visit her. The house is a bit chaotic and despite it all, the parents paid no mind as to them, it's a sign of them returning to normal… if that was the case. Lola was infuriated and rushed out of her room. "WHERE'S LANA!?", she shouted while wearing her favorite pageant gown with traces of mud on it! "What is it now, Lola?", Lincoln asked. "HER PETS DIRTIED MY DRESS AGAIN! KEEP THEM FAR FROM MY STUFF!", as she raised her fist and smacked a wooden chair. The chair broke because Lola's fist turned into a crystal-formed hammer. "Lola, you just broke the chair.", Lincoln told her. "You're not telling anyone!", Lola threatened but Lincoln sternly scoffed. Then a voice from below was heard. Charles the pet dog was chasing another dog… with navy blue fur. "Whose dog is that!?", Lincoln asked but soon heard… "Charles, stop chasing me! I'm not your mate!"
"Wasn't that Lana's voice!?", Lola asked. "Lincoln! Help me!" the blue dog pleaded and Lincoln set his foot down, creating a scorch and small embers that scared the pet while taking the blue dog up. "Lana? Is that you? What happened?", the brother asked. "I was just playing with… well, I'm minding my own then I though of what it feels like to be a dog and this happened.", the dog replied (Lana). "So it was you who put the mud prints on my dress!?", Lola angrily asked as she was about to grab the morphed twin. "Both of you… ENOUGH!", Lincoln fumed as a plume of blaze was set on his hair, forming a fiery pillar that slightly baked a portion of the ceiling and triggering the sprinkler. The waters drenched Lincoln but his heat formed sizzling vapors of water on his skin. This forced the twins to calm down and reverted to their human state. "Brother.", a monotonous voice (Lucy) spoke as it spooked the three. Lincoln noticed frost forming once more so he took action and calmed his goth sister. Lori saw the skirmished and had enough of it. "SIBLING MEETING! IN THE DINING ROOM, NOW!", she sternly said to them. Every sisters and Lincoln, except for Lily had gathered for the dining room, but soon a sudden outburst of plants carried Lily to the dining room before receding back to their pots and vases. Everyone noticed it and just confirmed that certain phenomenon are indeed occurring to them.
"So, apparently something weird is going on here!", Lori exclaimed. "Dude, we noticed… the lights are kinda on the fritz.", Luna said. "It seemed that all of us are experiencing some kind of change in our genetics ever since that explosion. (Thought: This is something Linnaeus know of but she didn't act yet. Suspicious but I'll learn eventually)", Lisa said. Lincoln then spoke up, "If each of us evolved from that explosion, then only us had gained whatever these powers are from whatever radiation was in that invention". "Precisely, brother unit. The particle accelerator granted us a set of genetic mutation or activated our latent gene trait that has been suppressed. In short, we've became mutated humans. Plenty of names such as Meta-Humans, Quirked, Mutants or whatever Lincoln's comic book vocabulary can speak of.", Lisa continued. Lincoln then further explained, "Each of us then gained powers or talents based on out personality trait. Traits that only complements or explain why we got them in the first place". "And how exactly are these powers are literally connected to our personalities?", Lori asked.
Lincoln then asked each of them. "Lori, you're a control freak… no offence but what's the thing you almost do every moment? From preparing for a date with Bobby to everything else?", he questioned. "I'm always on a rush?", Lori said. "Correct.", Lincoln proceeded to Leni afterwards.
"Leni, when it comes to fashion, she's torn with choices due to seeing all clothing their traits that fancify them. She is naive and kind, always want to please everyone around her and never hurt them, so she wanted to be a help with everyone as well as she wanted to be able to try every clothes she can have without being just stuck with one.", Lincoln elaborated. "Is that like why I have a twinie?", Leni asked. "Sort of, you can duplicate yourself, Leni. And each of them experiences and returned to the original. When a clone is hurt, she might feel their pain. When they're happy, original Leni will feel happy. The clones can split and return to Leni anytime she wants.", Lincoln spoke before turning to Luna.
Lincoln then said, "Luna's passionate with music and always had a loud and rocking personality. She always wants to shock people with her abilities in the music department. Therefor…". "I got electricity powers?", Luna asked. "Sick, right? And she can use electricity to affect electronics, magnetism and who knows, she can travel wires or the weather. All she needs is a wild imagination, as wild as her taste for rock!", Lincoln added. "Awesome, dude! I'm basically Livewire from Batman!", Luna remarked. Lincoln then approached Luan before speaking.
"Luan's a joker. And she wants the best pranks she could get. In order to do that, she must make sure they are hidden and unexpected.", Lincoln hinted. "So I can vanish in a blink of an eye?", Luan asked. "Yes, and you might control invisible forces like force fields or hard light. You can vanish with stealth.", Lincoln added before moving on to LJ.
"Lynn's an athlete and strives to be the winner. Which is why she relies more on her physical strength despite its strenuousness. Because of this, you developed an increased strength and durability so that your body won't easily be wounded and can handle the weight of things or the force of blows.", Lincoln explained. "Neato! But, I'll have to be careful not to break my opponent's bones during football practice.", LJ remarked. Before going for his powers, Lincoln first went with the younger sisters to explain them.
"Lucy's a goth and stoic. Always hiding her emotions and controlling them to keep situations calm. Another is that she can scare people with just her presence. Stoicism is often viewed as people who gives a cold shoulder when they are just not letting things affect them. And fear can sometimes feel cold and makes us shiver or lower our temperatures even with the room not changing in heat or chill. Catching on?", Lincoln asked. "Ice power?", Lucy then replied. Lincoln nodded before moving to Lana.
He then spoke to her, "Lana, you've been a wild grease monkey with enthusiasm to being tinker. But most of the time, you've had the most deep connection to animal life. Therefor, you've granted the ability to experience their life by transforming into any animals that exists". Lana grew excited of her newly found powers and suddenly transforms into a dog, barking in excitement. Lincoln then turn to the younger twin. "Lola's interest to pageantry and princesses enabled her to form into something that symbolizes them. Precious yet hard and not easy to crack.", Lincoln said. "Riches? No… Crystals!" Lola responded. Lincoln nodded then moved to Lisa.
"Lisa. You've been our resident genius and caused all this. You've put things in mind over matter. Brain over brute. Logic and reason over emotion and foolhardiness. You always put things in though so telepathy, you can read minds of people. And often your experiments needs more hands all at once while putting in less effort, therefor…", Lincoln didn't have to continue as Lisa responds. "Telekinesis. I have gained psychical communication and psychokinesis… creating push and pull force via my mind.", Lisa said. "Exactly!", Lincoln said as it was Lily's turn.
Lori then spoke to Lincoln, "Why does Lily had plants helping her back then? Is that her power?" as Lily is causing some plants to dance and sway. Lincoln then made a guess and then made several theories with Lisa. "Perhaps it's because of her innocence. Babies are naturally naive and often foolish but are a clean slate and curious of the unknown. That's her personality, being too innocent of her surrounding and could feel empathy of others. She can become sad when someone is sad, and she'll do her best to often comfort us.", Lisa stated. Lincoln nodded and added, "True. She's still a baby and they're still unknowing of things around. Kinda like plants, they don't do much except stay still and unknowing of everything that happens to them. At the same time, they've usually are benevolent as they provide food to humans and animals alike. Even materials for shelter or medicine. Plus, Lily's name is a kind of plant… a flower to be exact."
As Lincoln was finished explaining, it was his turn as they've wondered why Lincoln could manipulate heat and create flames. "So elder brother unit, you've explained our inquiries of our powers. What about yours?", Lisa asked. "Lincoln, why is it that you're always feverish and create fires that burnt the ceiling?", Lucy added. Lincoln then guessed before coming to an answer. "Having 10 sisters, I have to stay vigilant and had to deal with all of you. There are times that I couldn't handle the stress to a point that I snap and become furious. The stresses and pressure in life always placed me to a boiling point. What do you think?", Lincoln replied. "So anger then?", Luan said as Luna understood where the explanation is coming from. After that explanation, soon came the question that most people would ask when they received their powers.
"Can we use them?", every girls asked.
"I mean, it's ours so yeah. But we got to have some rules. Lori, you take the floor.", Lincoln said. "Well… first off, I think it's much safer if we keep our powers secret as some people are still not ready for this change. We might become subject to discrimination.", Lori said. "Bruh! How can we hide them if it gets crazy sometimes?", Luna asked. Lincoln then responded, "We have to keep ourselves calm and unflinching. If we are to live a normal life, we have to learn to control them and suppress them when needed to". Lisa added, "And there's a possibility that there are people out there willing to dissect us to study our nature and may steal our power in the process. We can't use our powers except in dire situations such as life-and-death ultimatum.", something they understand but afraid to come to that scenario. "Another rule is that, we can use our powers to whatever we want as long as it's not too selfish or bad like using them to steal or hurt other or involve the authorities.", Lincoln added.
Once they've reached in an agreement, they've settled down and tried to prepare for the next day… a Monday, school day. But little do they know that it's just the beginning of an epic journey to heroism… or a tragic tale of tyranny and usurpation of powers and leaderships.
-Chapter 1 End: LHAU - Loud Heroes Reboot-
AN2: Chapter 1 of this reboot is finally done after this few days of not being able to write due to a certain good news. This reboot idea is inspired from various friends such as Smoking-Wrecker [Epic-Wrecker], nbwatts, JakeVoronkov, and more. This reboot as I may have said or missed, will have a different continuity from my other Loud Heroes AU - Dawn of Injustice Trilogy. Meaning, some stuff will be different. And since this is a reboot of Smoking Wrecker's original, some elements may be different and similar so there you go.
If you all want to contribute to this reboot, don't hesitate to speak up but keep it brief for a bit. PM or Reviews are welcome. Insults will not be tolerated, but valid criticism will be allowed. This writing will be a combination of "small scripted format" and "quotation format" to avoid "scripted format" because I will also be posting this in FF-dot-net. I'm hoping I could go back after the drama with a certain 'cyberbully' that I once thought as a friend.
Good news is that I'm having a job, bad news… my schedule will be tight so I won't be writing frequently. My writing schedule will once again adjust for my mentality's sake. I also need an opening theme song for this story since I will not use 'To Telos Arhizi [The End Begins]' until a certain chapter which will be far in the future [if I ever make it since I've already spoiled a few events that may happen in the future]. The song I had in mind are from the anime series [Fire Force, Eminence in Shadow, Overlord or MHA].
