LHRU: Loud Heroes [Chapter 2 (Beth) - Training Hell Day]

AN: This is yet another Loud House AU fan-fiction story, inspired from longer running story called "Loud Heroes". Yes, this is yet another TLH hero story fic, and frankly… despite certain cinematic universes (MCU, DCEU, Invincible, MHA, etc.) getting either too bland or too many, it's hard to ever get tired of them. We loved them so much, often we make our own various takes of it. This take may contain dark and mature themes but only subtle as to keep it appropriate for Teens/Shounens (Young Males). This will have a separate continuity from my Dawn of Injustice Trilogy [Loud Heroes AU] but may contain reference from said AU.

So, I hope you enjoy this story. I'm still using Hebrew terms for chapter numbers… what can I say, I just like ancient languages that had theological significance [Hebrew/Aramaic, Greek, Latin, Arabic, Sanskrit-Mandarin, etc.].

After a freak accident from Lisa's particle accelerator, the Loud siblings are induced in a 3-day coma. While unconscious, strange phenomenon occurred in the hospital which centered around the siblings. Dr. Caroline Linnaeus took action to help elevate the situation as well as re-earning Lisa's trust. Once they awoken, they were permitted to return home. As they are recovering, Lori experiences strange vision of some kind of branching future. Meanwhile, more shenanigans come about which caused the eldest daughter to awaken with the chaos. This made them realize that they have gained powers from the explosion's radiation entering their bodily systems.

Now, they'll try to live their lives normally while controlling their powers to prevent even more mishaps from happening.

Before the Monday arrives, Lori had yet another dream, another vision of the coming future. This time, it's a bit different. A warning of what may happen if she learns to tamper with space-time. A lecture once she gains the ability to access the near-fullest potential of her speed. Trapped in a sphere, seeing an endless storm of void, energy and time… visions of various timelines that are both intertwined and untangled from each other. Lori could only make out some them… or perhaps, she ignored what she deems insignificant to her. She somewhat saw a silhouette of her future self… as if giving a warning like last time she dreamt it. But it vanished as was replaced by a bird-like silhouette. It screeched and cried before returning to silence. Yet the silence is immediately broken by chants that Lori could barely make out of.

Beast of the sky… hear me cry… thyself from orb… light… victory in this fight… envelope… with thy glow… flames upon mine foe… Unleash thy power from within… together we shall win… I maketh thou tame… I calleth thy name.

After that, Lori awoken back to the real world and readied herself to go to school.

[AN. This is quite the conundrum since Lori is supposedly at college at Fairway so, in this AU, Lori is still 17 while Lily is 2 years old. That's quite a change in the ages so that Lori remains significant in Royal Woods along with the Casa-Tiago family because Great Lakes had become a second Detroit in this world-built, a Gotham even. I hope you readers understand what I'm trying to build with this.]

The rest of the siblings had breakfast. They are trying to contain their excitement as well, considering that their powers just recently awoken and had no full control over it. They have to keep things in check. If only it was that easy. Lori had to let go of her low-calorie diet since her speed-metabolism made her incredibly starved. Famished from the last day, she was quite ravenous with the meal… one that could almost beat LJ/Lynn's record. Lisa drew inspiration from this study, thinking of a high-calorie recovery ration in case of emergency… akin to Lincoln's manga [Senzu Beans from DBZ or Food Pills from Naruto]. After breakfast, they all hurriedly rushed at Vanzilla to get to school as early as possible. The Loud parents tidied up their household, but are quite astounded of some damages they've witnessed, some burn marks, scratches on walls, icicles on ceilings. They're not rich but they can afford some to be fixed and replaced. Still, they are left wondering how those came to be… was it a result of last night's explosion or something else?

Once the Loud siblings had reached their respective schools, things didn't quite get peaceful. That morning was merely a calm from the storm that is about to unfurl.

"You know, with your powers… you're literally a walking phone charger.", Lori said.

"You wouldn't dare, Lors!", Luna exclaims.

"I would… or would you rather I tell this Sam guy about your little admiration?", Lori slyly said.

"You dirty little wanker! Fine, be that way. Don't blame me if your mobile explodes from overload.", Luna retorts back at the eldest sister.

"I wonder what this Sam looks like? Is he handsome?" Leni questions as she was about to make a clone. Lori stops her ditzy sister from doing so by calming her down. The bell soon rings and they walk towards their individual classrooms. But Lori overtook her two sisters.

"Lors, why are you running? Slow down!", Luna exclaimed.

"I'm literally walking, not running. Maybe you should pick up the slack!", Lori retorts.

"Lori, slow down. Like, you're using your super speed again.", Leni warns.

"I'm literally trying, okay? You should be concerned for yourselves. Luna, you're literally sparking again.", Lori voiced.

"This is going to be a Hard Knock Life for us!" Luna complains.

-A few hours later-

After her first class, Luna went to her locker to get her books. She is met by a girl. A teenage blondie with teal streak on her hair, four pairs of eyelashes. She has two helix piercings in each of her ears and also wears pink eyeshadow. Wears a white "The Who" shirt, overcoated by a blue leather jacket, a pair of deep burgundy jeans with two slight holes at the knees, a black belt with silver studs, and dark purple boots. That girl's name is…

"Oh hey, Sam!" Luna greets back. Indeed, this girl is Samantha Sharp. Luna's friend and bandmate to their newly formed school band, the Moon Goats with a drummer named Sullivan/Sully Morrison and Mazikeen/Mazzie Smith.

[AN: I made them a band earlier before but Sam & Luna's relationship is to be established… until further drama. I'm not always gonna follow the canon since this is an AU fanfic. Duh! Also, the surnames of Luna & Sam's friends/bandmates are based from a Netflix series. Their identity will remain an enigma until further notice.]

"I heard that you guys were at the hospital. Are you alright now?" Sam asks.

"Yeah, we're fine. It's just Lisa being careless with her science. It's kinda a cliché for us, but we're okay." Luna responds.

"Oh good. I'm glad you're all alright. I wouldn't want that to happen to Simon either. Which reminds me, how did your crib get into a black out?" Sam questions.

"Oh… well, I was jamming to hard and didn't notice the amps short circuited. It went full Cobain on itself. My sibs really got upset at the power failure… particularly Linky." Luna answers.

"Well, bummer. But I'm glad you're all in good shape. Well, we better go to the next class. I can't wait for us to get to band practice… the classes are just so boring.", said Sam.

"Oh, I hear that. Amen Sammy, amen." Luna responds.

"Check you later, Moon girl!", Sam bid farewell as she heads to the next class. But before she does, she went to the loo, ashamed of what she just said. "Moon girl? She's not fat. Dang it, Sam!", she monologues as she washes her hands. "You can do this. Luna's been with you for so long? She's been with you and understanding of you. You're just going to ask her out.", she kept soliloquizing. Luckily no one was there to hear… really.

Meanwhile, the younger Loud siblings didn't have it any better. Let us witness some of their hijinks that they experienced.

Lucy was simply at the library, the quietest place of Elementary school. She is simply enjoying yet another book she found. But her joy and excitement [trust me, she does feel those emotions] caused her to form a frigid temperature across the room. She was about to emanate icy mist and snow around her while the other readers shiver from the cold. Lucy eventually caught on and tried to relax before she freezes everyone to death.

At Lincoln's location, he is about to get lunch after another hectic class session. It somewhat frustrates him to the core, but he did his best to keep it contained as any sign of ire would mean that his surroundings will be set ablaze. It didn't help that Lincoln had to cross paths with his "so-called" rival, a grade-A class jerk… Chandler McCann.

"Well, well… it isn't Larry Lame." Chandler stated

"It's Lincoln Loud, Chandler. Now what do you want?", Lincoln said.

"Nothing… not like you could give any. I'm just surprised that you're still here after that explosion. Couldn't have sworn that you'd be a goner by then.", Chandler mocks before leaving.

"I swear… I'm going to burn him if he doesn't stop being an a-hole. May the heaven have mercy for I have none.", Lincoln mutters and murmurs… keeping it to himself without anyone hearing.

Then came a slightly tanned Latina with the purple hoodie and denim shorts, Ronalda Andrea "Ronnie Anne" Casagrande-Santiago [again, hyphenated due to her mom's status as divorcee].

"Hey Lame-O… so how was the hospital? I hoped mom would keep you okay.", she asked.

"I'm fine Ronnie. It's just… well ever since Lisa's particle accelerator blew up, things are getting weird on our end. Then again, we're the Loud family. Weird is pretty much common for us.", Lincoln responds.

"Well, if it makes you feel better. I'm glad you're still in one piece. Still, just tell me if you want me to beat up that Chandler-punk.", offered Ronnie.

"I appreciate the gesture but there's no need for violence, Ronnie. I can take it.", Lincoln replied but somehow at the back of his mind… a voice called out.

'Do not lie to thyself, feckless neophyte. I sense great ire in thy midst. Let him taste what true power is, lest he be deluded by his hubris.'

'Weird. What was that voice? It sounds so menacing yet relaxing as well?', Lincoln thought to himself. "Well, let's get going. We don't wanna keep our friends waiting. I bet Clyde would be delighted to see us in good shape.". Lincoln said.

"Of course, you and your nerdy pal had to deliver the good news. Let's go then!", Ronnie responds.

In another place, the other sisters aren't having it easy for them to continue their routine. Lisa is at the verge of having a panic attack after reading too many thoughts and hearing people's mind & subconscious. She had to go to the infirmary to find a quiet place away from people's thoughts. Lola had to keep herself within the bathroom and take a breather after hearing Lindsay Sweetwater and Lacey St. Clair spread gossips about her. Lana… well she was having a time of her life when she's a blueish raccoon but… she ought to control her transformation since she needs to get cleaned up for next class (as much as she abhors the idea).

And LJ/Lynn, well… let's say she have to temporarily hold back her game by becoming substitute player for now. It confounded her teammates, especially Margo, Polly & Paula, since she always wanted to be at the top of her game. She realized that if she played, there's a chance that there will at least be a few broken bones involved, or some players sent to the general hospital… worse is having to pay for someone's funeral due to her immense strength. She understood that since she ended up bumping to someone and knocked to the corner. Luckily, the opponent wasn't too injured, but the goal got wrecked when Lynn tried to score. There, goes the rails, baskets and some balls got popped by her sheer strength. It didn't help that her impatience started to kick in as she craved to play, but she did try to hold back the urge to return as she doesn't fully understand the full scale of her power.

For Luan, she was able to prank some classmates who backtalk and spread slander about her without worry [specifically, those who mock her talent for comedy]. Yes, indeed it was some abuse of her power, but she doesn't have full control of it as she had to suppress her laughter and joy to deactivate her invisibility. Whenever she starts to chortle or think of something hilarious, her stealth mode activates without warning. Luckily, her crush (Benjamin "Benny" Stein - the curly haired Jewish-German/Yiddish boy with fascination to anime, Shakespearean and some comedies) didn't quite notice the comedian's troubling situation. Luna's no better as she tries to avoid outlets and some electric instruments for a while, going acoustics for now [until she has full control of her power].

With Leni's case, whenever she thinks or had fashion ideas, she splits. It took her 10 seconds to return her clones back to herself and kept from reappearing. Lori, with her speed, saw to herself that her walking speed is similar to the running speed of normal people. So much that she tends to overtake her boyfriend (Roberto "Bobby" Alejandro Luis-Millan Martinez Casagrande-Santiago: dang, that's a long name… I'll just settle with the nicknames instead. Yes, also hyphenated due to his mother.) and have to slow down or stop moving at all. Whenever Lori thinks of her situation or what her siblings are going through… the world seems to go in slow motion. She sees everything in slo-mo which could allow her to abide time… if she had the patience.

Lily at the daycare… the teachers are gobsmacked at the scene. Their garden was brought back to life whenever Lily approaches near the soil. Flowers bloom, trees that are long dead are all brought back to life. And whenever the infant is happy, the plants just kept blossoming and some moved as if playing with the little girl. Luckily, it was a shortened period for the toddler and her parents picked her up. The teachers talked to Lily's parents but they dismissed some of it as pis-posh or exaggerations. They're glad that the youngest Loud daughter had fun but they thought that the teacher's fantasies these days are quite colorful when it comes to handling their pupils.

Once school is done, the siblings decided to conduct another meeting about their experiences. One thing for sure, they must figure a way to settle things and control their powers.

"Let's face it, girls. These powers are a part of us now. We need to accept it and get used to it. We train and practice so that we could control them.", Lincoln suggested.

"Well, you literally have a point but what are we going to do with it? We literally can't always hide them especially if things go sour on our end.", Lori voiced.

"They are our gifts. What best thing we can do than use it for the greater good of other people. Fight crime, solve mysteries, help civilians…", Lincoln listed.

"So basically, we'll be superheroes? I'm game!", LJ accepts.

"This literally isn't a game! And this isn't one of your silly Japanese comics and cartoons. This is literally reality. You should know how dangerous it could get.", Lori forewarns. But thinking back on her visions, perhaps it was their destiny.

"I know it isn't. That's why we'll train until we can be useful for society. I'm not saying we should be reckless and do heroics without proper knowledge… we could have a double-life even if it's difficult. But what good is our gifts if we don't even use them, practice them? What good is a knife if not for cutting?", Lincoln speaks.

"I agree with our fraternal unit, eldest female sibling. We have these gifts, what good can we do than practice and test the waters ourselves. Who knows what can happen? Better to defend ourselves than become lab rats from other people who had little understanding of our situation. Plus, this will help me understand the workings of the radiation that triggered an evolution to our genetics. Maybe we can fix the particle accelerator or find some kind of canceler if things go downward-sloping.", Lisa lisps. She does have a point. And this could also mean that there may be others who are deliberately trying to replicate their experience just to progress their understanding of science while having no regards with morality. Something she had learned all so long ago with Caroline Linnaeus.

"If we're gonna do this. We might as well make some band name for ourselves.", Luna suggested.

"And stage name too. We can't use our actual names unless we trust them.", Luan seconded.

"Ooh, like I can make the costumes for all of us!", Leni added excitedly.

"I guess this could work as well.", Lucy agreed.

"Yeah, and I get to save more animals from being used and hurt!", Lana voiced her enthusiasm.

"Well, I guess that's one way to get popular. Alright, I'm in!", Lola reluctantly joins. Lily giggles in agreement. Although, being a toddler… she has powers too so she's equally an important member.

"You're all literally agreeing to this? *sigh* Fine! But only under proper leadership and supervision. I'm literally going to be in charge of all of you. I have to make sure you all are going to be alright. Plus, we're hiding this from our mom and dad until the right time to tell them. So, I'll literally keep watch", Lori surrenders.

'Like thou art to speak about leadership, tyrannical nymph!', The voice from Lincoln's head once again retorts but only the sole brother could hear. Lincoln simply ignored it.

They all voted for the name of their group first. At first, they are torn from 'Royal Justice (from the Royal Flush Gang and Justice League); The Mighty Sisters (MMPR but with girls…), but Lincoln is a male so they crossed it out; The L Force but it sounded cliche… until they settled with this name: "The L-Crew". A group of concerned meta-citizen composed of super-powered siblings of one brother and ten sisters of ranging ages. Afterwards, they all thought of names to call themselves:

"Speed Queen, literally.", Lori calls.

"Like, Multiple Girl sounds good.", Leni said.

"I'm gonna be the rocking hero, Amplifier!", Luna spoke.

"Ms. Appear. Now you see me!", Luan named as she vanished. "Now you don't!", she continues as she reappears.

"Hardcore! PARKOUR!", LJ/Lynn picked her name.

"Black Ice. Fear's icy grip", Lucy monotones.

"Call me Wildgirl. Protector of the animals… I might go lacto-ovo-vegetarian because of this.", Lana speaks.

"Crystal Princess. Like there's any other?", Lola said.

"Prodigy. There can be nothing less.", Lisa lisps.

"Flame Hero: Firecracker", Lincoln confidently said… and then there's the voice again.

'Inferno sounded much better… until my awakening and revelation of my true name… that or Imperium or Solaris.'

"What about Lily? She literally hasn't gotten her own alias.", Lori asks. The infant gave two thumbs up which gave Lincoln an idea.

"Well, since she's making plants bloom, this name sounds fitting. The Floral Baby: Greenthumb.", Lincoln suggested and the sisters, especially Lily agreed.

Once decided, they all tried to think of a way to have some training ground for their powers. Lori fortunately found a place fitting… as cliche as it may sound: an abandoned warehouse. Lori drove them there since there's still time for that. Lisa brought some of her gears to help with the training process. Thus, the beginning of their Training Hell Day.

Lori was able to run in circle with an average of 500 km/h, almost twice the speed of a race-car. Something that fascinated Lisa. Unfortunately, Lori crashed to one of the piles of rubble. This injured the eldest sibling which caused the smart sister to panic for a bit until she noticed something uncanny. Lori's healing rate is accelerated. Some of her wounds, dislocated shoulder and fractured finger-bones healed up in mere minutes rather than days (or weeks or months). Lori's speed also bolstered her metabolism, making her body have speed healing factor, high calorie absorption rate, accelerated perception and thinking, vibrating parts, etc. Another thing is that her speed causes intense friction between her and the present molecules from the atmosphere… causing her to create a blue blur and small sparks of electricity, not as strong as Luna's Electrokinesis.

Luna shot lightning at Lori… by accident. It did little harm to the speedster due to her vibration frequency to conduct lightning to the ground. Luna discovered that she can use her electricity to not just fritz the electronics… but to generate solid lightning swords or whips (albeit in short duration). She also can stay afloat for a short time, or pull metals using electromagnetism (magnetism with electricity). Leni made clones by focusing. She could at least produce one at a time. What distinguishes a clone from the original is that the clones turn into dead cells and mud upon harm and their memories of the experience comes back to the original Leni (which could potentially help with Leni's memory and multitasking). The mud samples had DNA footprints which Lisa collected to see if she could test them. The clone only has a certain degree of sentience which is to imitate the original's will/intent/desire. (We haven't reached the time where the clones will gain freewill from its evolving sentience, nor allow bodily transmigration which allows the original to survive by transferring her consciousness to a clone and make it the new original. You know, like making data/file copy to another place in case the original source gets deleted.)

As for Lana, she tries to transform into predatory, herbivorous and omnivorous animals alike. Their differences is that it varies from animals to animals, as well as it changes her senses based on the animal she transforms into. Bats have echolocation, snakes have thermal sense, birds have wings for flight, elephants or rhinos had tough hide. A few things in common is that predatory animals (carnivorous) tend to have wild tendency that messes with the girl's instincts or stomach (yes… she can still eat meat but she's going to practice lacto-ovo-vegetarianism).

Lynn tries to lift heavy loads of cargo and rubble. Her strength is vast but she has not figured the limits. She punched a scrapped van and made a fist-shaped dent… enough to make a hole. Lola made crystalline weaponry, some for blunt force which can smash weaker materials, some sharp crystals that can cut through wood but not steel or some harder metals. The hardness & toughness of her crystals are based on her willpower. The gemstones she makes had traces of her own DNA that slowly vanish when it detaches from her body (turning into glass or quartz (not enough to be diamonds). Lola tried to use a crystal sabre at Lynn and the tip of it chipped off.

"Did you feel that?", Lola asked.

"Feel what? I don't feel anything", LJ responds.

Lola tries to poke at LJ again and again, slowly chipping the crystal sword until it became too short. The sporty girl did not feel anything at all.

"Fascinating, it seems that our athletic sister had tough skin that is impregnable. Meaning, you could be bulletproof. But you could still be harmed by something that could make you too soft or brittle such as cold or heat.", Lisa concluded.

LJ agrees as Lucy was near her and almost got a freeze-burn when the goth blasted an ice-ray. Lucy discovers that she's a heat-vampire. Any hot surface she touches had their heat removed to add on her own energy and sustenance. The limit however is that too much heat can cancel or nullify her ability to so, rendering her power useless if there's too much heat like from a volcano. Think of it as being too full in an "all-u-can eat buffet".

Luan tries to form invisible force constructs or create hard light. So far, her only success is making barriers out of such force. But she can bend the light reflected and refracted from her invisibility, so she can make hard light shields or force fields that is only as strong as her focus and stamina. Lisa tries to lift rubble and scraps of varying mass and weight. Her limit is that proportional to both mental and physical strength. Her telekinetic ability will be affected if her body and mind are not at peak condition. She can also place a falsified sensation from a person through her telepathy (think of Charles Xavier/Professor X from X-Men franchise), allowing her to cast mental illusions upon her target (mainly LJ). Lily… well, she's still a baby. So far, she can she can only create small botanical life such as flowers, shrubs, vines and thorns. Her limit is due to her infantile stage, so she cannot manipulate stronger plant life yet such as wood trees (including carnivorous plants). Nor she can make sentience from plant life (like Dryads or Treants/Living Treemen/Wood Golems) but that is yet to be determined since she's just a baby.

As for Lincoln, the boy had much entropy and imagination at his disposal. Forming fireballs and shooting with accuracy, forming weapons and constructs out of flames such as bow/arrow, shields/chakram-discs, swords and spears. The limit is the temperature of his field since he's a heat-emitter. The colder it gets, the weaker his power. Water is way obvious enough but he can vaporize it in minutes if he concentrates enough. He also tried a trick at the old DVDs of F. Night Shyamalan movies such as After Earth, Last Airbender, and The Happening by burning them with a snap of his fingers. Lincoln learned that from FMAB (Roy Mustang) by creating a spark from the oxygen molecules in the air by clashing the hydrogen molecules to generate an ignition point. From that, he concentrates the heat to a specific area to prevent a spread of fire, keeping the flames on burning only a specified place. He also used the DBZ-Evolution DVD as target practice.

After one rigorous session, they returned to Vanzilla and Lori drove them home. Most are excited with what they could do, so much that it hid the hidden exhaustion that they felt on that training. Leni already thought of what kind of costumes they could wear… being a fashionista means her creative thinking and freedom ran rampant on her head (What? There's more to Leni than being just a ditzy blond, ya'know?). One thing for sure, if they need a training ground, the abandoned warehouse is readily available. Good for hiding and keeping things on a low. Lori is driving at the streets near the Royal Woods Science Division, the place Lisa once entered in where she met Caroline Linnaeus. However, the streetlights aren't working and somehow, they saw the female scientist, surrounded by thugs. Lisa used her telepathy and felt incredible fear from the backed woman. The thugs however, had nothing but avarice and lust on their minds as they plot to rob the defenseless scientist… or do something way worse.

"As much as I'd say this is karmic justice to her… The thugs disgust me to think that they could do this to a civilian! Predators these days…", Lisa lisps.

"We need to help her!", Lincoln demands.

"And help her, we shall. Eldest sister, if you may!", Lisa requests Lori as she parks the car somewhere spacious enough. Leni phones 911 emergency hotline to call the authorities. Lori speeds through and took away the weapons that thugs have. LJ then uses enough strength to knock them down. Lucy encased them in ice to ensure that they'll be captured alive.

"It seems that I owe you once again, Elizabeth Marie Loud.", Caroline said.

"This makes us even from helping us in the hospital, Linnaeus.", Lisa lisps.

"No… I owe you more than that. At least, these thugs cannot know that I'm just like you siblings are.", Carol adds.

"Wait, what do you mean?", Lisa asks.

"Not in here. Follow me to my lab. You and your siblings. I'll tell you everything.", Caroline requests.

"Why should I trust you?", Lisa doubts.

"You don't have to. But like I said, I'm here to make amends and now that I'm completely sure of what happened, it's better that I give you all a rundown and a warning. To keep others like us either in line or safe.", Caroline assured.

"Well, I guess this literally answers our question of whether or not we're only one with powers. To think that others have it as well and been literally hiding it. I think we should follow her, Lisa.", Lori states. To her better judgement, Lisa obeyed as this will clarify things for them. Lori then texted their parents to inform them that she and her siblings are going to be a bit late before going home.

[AN: I think it's better to specify this now for the incoming future, but Lynn Sr. will have his restaurant after Season 1 of this series, which will be between chapter 10 & 11. Right now, the parents have other jobs, which ensures them to be home early unlike when Lynn Sr. got the restaurant and had to go home later in the night.]

Once they are all inside the facility, Caroline welcomed them to her laboratory, where her equipment is stationed. She orders her guards to let no one in until she is finished speaking with the Loud siblings. She sat on her chair while the rest are at awe at what they are seeing.

"First order of business is introductions. My name is Caroline Linnaeus and indeed I am a meta-human or mutated human. That's one of the few reasons why I study biology, especially those with uncanny properties like that Flip Phillipini fellow. I wanted to know if there are others like me or discern whether or not they are a threat to me or society as a whole. Part of the reason why Lisa here hated my guts. But I really do wish to seek atonement.", Caroline states.

"So why did you call us here? I doubt you're going to experiment on us like you did or that would be breaking our trust.", Lincoln states.

"I do want to experiment on you, but not in the most immoral way. What if I can give you a safe haven, here in this facility? Think of it as a lair like STAR Labs or Avengers Tower from the old comics. I'll sponsor you all and accommodate with your heroics, provided that you help me study your powers carefully and ensure the safety of all civilians. Yes, that includes you siblings and your family. You can live civilian lives while hiding your meta-lives.", Carol proposes.

"Are you literally serious right now?", Lori questions. To think that someone is willing to sponsor their debut as heroes.

"Why, of course, I'm serious. This is payment to what I owe to your genius sister. Plus, you can't do this without help, can you? I'm sure you, as the eldest, are capable as leader but there will come a time you'll have to drop the facade to people you trust, people you love. As such, you'll need supervision to keep you all in check. Even if Lisa here can do that, that won't be enough. Two heads are better than one… as a sign of authenticity, I'll tell you my power. I have this uncanny ability to discern, learn and know everything my eyes see, my body touches, my nose smell, my ears hear and my tongue tastes. I am codenamed: Ciel (CL) and due to this power, I am considered as a genius in my field. Why, I can even name each of your powers right now."

Speedster (Lori) - The living embodiment of speed [healing, velocity, perception, thinking, frequency/vibration, etc.]

Multi-Replication (Leni) - Ability to self-replicate/clone

Electrokinesis (Luna) - Create or manipulate lightning/electricity

Photo-Flyrokinesis (Luan) - Create or manipulate force constructs via photons [including reflect or create hard light]

Herculean Body (Lynn/LJ) - Nigh-unbreakable skin and immense strength

Cryo/Frigokinesis or Thermal Vampirism (Lucy) - Create or manipulate cold temperature & ice (can suck heat out)

Zoanthropic Physiology (Lana) - Ability to imitate or morph into any animal known [including speeches]

Crystalokinesis (Lola) - Create or manipulate any known crystal (quartz, rubies, pearls, diamonds, etc.)

Psychokinesis (Lisa) - Telepathy, empathy and control (telekinesis). Can read or communicate through minds.

Botanokinesis (Lily) - Creation or manipulation of any plant life

Thermo/Pyrokinesis (Lincoln) - Creation or manipulation of heat and/or flames/fire

"And who knows, these meta-gene powers can evolve into something much greater. Believe me when I say it since I was one of those who evolved through furthering my study.", Caroline explained.

"Dang it. I can't believe I'm agreeing to this." Lisa lisps.

"I dunno Lisa. She does have a point. We can't exactly showcase our powers carelessly. We might as well have a base. Plus, the abandoned warehouse is just a backup. But there might be other people who'll buy the place for the lot.", Lincoln voiced to his genius sister.

"That's not an issue, I can even buy that place for you if it's really what you need for training ground.", Caroline/Ciel said as she continues. "Not only that but you'll need suits or costumes. One of you is a talented tailor for dresses, am I right?", The scientist questions.

Leni's face brightens up as she heard about clothes. "I'll give you all the creative freedom to design your hero disguises but I'll provide the materials based on your powers. Materials that can adapt to your Meta-gene and DNA encoding. It can be fireproof, waterproof, durable, comfortable, name it and I have the tech to make it.", Caroline lists. Leni raised her hand and volunteered for the role of making the clothes. The adult scientist accepted and enlisted Leni to handle the materials well.

"Well, if that's literally all, we should get back home now. Mom and dad are going to be worried if we don't come back home since it's late.", Lori said. The rest of the siblings agreed. Caroline then escorted them to the exit as she said her farewells to them. Lori drove Vanzilla back to the Loud residence.

Lynn Sr and Rita scolded them for being late but was relieved to see them safe. Even if they did saw Lori's message, they can't help but worry about their children. The Loud sibling now head to their room with excitement on what to do tomorrow. Leni asked Lincoln to help her draw the designs for their costumes so that she can work on them tomorrow. Lincoln called the rest of the siblings to ask of their preference. Before they gave their suggestions, Lisa told them that Caroline may expect them at her lab tomorrow for various reasons such as testing the limits of their powers and finding a way to cover their individual weaknesses. On to the suggestions. Lincoln helped sketch the designs and Leni gave her opinions or adjustments to each.

Lori/Speed Queen's costume is a sapphire-colored speedster suit with some black arcs design and a single lightning bolt design on her chest (Similar to Jessie Quick from CW's Flash). It also includes a windshield visor goggles to help Lori see when she moves fast. The suit will be enough to reduce drag and is friction resistant to accommodate.

Leni's costume will be similar to her 11 of Hearts costume except that the ribbons/sashes are shorter and without the hearts, the inverse 11 is gone and her shades for facial disguise is a cyan colored goggle. If the fabric cannot accommodate with her cloning ability, it must be made with materials that can be imbued with her DNA to replicate them.

Luna's preference is similar to Livewire from DC Comics but a few differences is that it doesn't bear any lightning symbol, it has a pair of purple goggles, a purple jacket for cover, made with conductive yet durable material to preserve her electricity and keep it grounded. It also needs purple boot that is also conductive and durable and fingerless gloves for aesthetics.

Luan's costume is pretty simple. A yellow biosuit with yellow mask and fingerless gloves. The suit must have either light-refracting capacity to adapt when Luan goes invisible. If not, it can at least be imbued with her Meta-DNA like her hair or blood.

LJ's costume is based on Marvel's Luke Cage and Iron Fist mask. But the colors are crimson red. Materials needed will be partly metallic, must be durable and impact absorbent to ensure that damage will be minimized with her physique. It is comfortable/breathable and flexible too, an impenetrable armor like her skin but not restricting her movements.

Lucy's will be similar to her Eight of Spades costume but also based on her winter clothes. It also has a cold-resistant suit beneath, one that can handle an icy body without brittling into ice. She also has a black mask (which is obsolete considering that her bangs cover her eyes anyway).

Lana's costume will be a modified navy-blue suit similar to DC's Vixen. It has some animal patterns such as tiger stripes, leopard spots and navy cat-claw gloves. She also has a cat-eye mask as she cannot don her favorite red cap. The material must be therianthropic polymer (also imbued with her DNA) that can change on what animal Lana will morph into. It is to prevent her from ripping her costume whenever she transforms.

Lola's costume is also following Leni's footsteps as she just removes the cape designed on her Queen of Diamond's costume. She also includes a princess tiara mask as cover. The material needed must be durable and flexible enough and will be infused with her DNA so that it can undertake crystallization whenever Lola uses her powers, preventing rips and tears.

Lisa took the simple route in her costume and settled with a green biosuit with goggles. However, Lisa took note to ensure her suit will be durable, and everything-proofed/resistant as it would be careless if it is easily damaged. (Lisa will also suggest that each suit must have a containment device like the Power Rangers Morpher or Flash's suit Ring. That also includes a tracker and communication device for emergencies.)

Lily's (yes, she decided on it. Having a Meta-Gene may have slightly improved her cognitive ability but she's still a baby so she barely makes a sentence) will be a lavender/lilac-colored biosuit with some vine/leaf/flower patterns on it and wears a sunflower mask. It will have to be capable of being slightly fireproof considering her power but also have the ability to transform into plant/wood in case that Lily can transform into wood (or to gain plant/wood skin) since it's not yet determined if her limitation is creation and manipulation of plant-life and not having Botanic Physiology (Plant-Like body similar to Pamela Isley/Poison Ivy from DC Comics). One thing for sure, Lily had developed some sort of Toxic Immunity but only on certain degree (not all of them).

Lastly is Lincoln's costume. Oddly, this one is unique as it has some kind of disguise enhancement, per Leni's suggestion of having his hair become flame-orange (reddish or vermilion). He'll have an orange biosuit with flame patterns on front and sides. His shoes and gloves are red, and wears tangerine-colored goggles. The suit will be fireproof and imbued with his DNA in case Lincoln can become like Human Torch (or Portgas D. Ace), having a body of pure flames.

"Hold on, am I the only one that can change hair color?", Lincoln asks.

"Like, yeah Linky. Don't you like it?", Leni said.

"I like it but why?", Lincoln questions.

"It's only logical, brother unit. Not only that it fits your overall schematics but being the only one with obvious hints of your identity, namely your white-hair, it is best to also disguise it with the red-coloration during transformation of our suit.", Lisa explains.

"And like, it could save us money from getting hair dye as disguise.", Leni added. Lisa & Lincoln nodded in agreement.

Once they've finally reached a consensus, they all adjourned their meeting. Leni saved the notes and sketches to her drawer and excitedly fell asleep. Lori, however, is not looking forward in sleeping. It is not because she's not enthusiastic with it. It is because that thank to their powers, she now sees that her visions are slowly becoming true… that her future self is actually warning her of certain signs and events of the future that they must both prevent or allow to happen to change their tragic fates. It also means that she'll have double the burden of leading the siblings as family and a team of superheroes. She knows that one day, her time as leader will cease once she reached her time for college… but knowing that her team stayed strong in the future… she'll just have to cross that bridge when she gets there. The others are fast asleep… all girls… but not Lincoln. He's too excited to fall asleep. But his body is telling him otherwise.

Once slumber reached the sole son's eyelids, he rested on his bed and fell into a deep sleep. In his dreamscape, he is met with total darkness… until he becomes surrounded by flames. Enveloping him, the terrain becomes like what hell looks like in various mythos or theological interpretations. A vast ocean of blaze and flame. From it, a great voice bellowed as a great image of a bird with three pairs of wings (6 wings) surfaces and manifests.

"Fire is the soul's breath and smoke is the soul's release. From ashes to ashes, dust to dust… I welcome thee in my humble abode… the great flame of fire… neophyte of the glorious sun!"

"Who are you?", Lincoln questions.

"I shalt reveal mine name as it is of great reverence… but once thou hast learnt it… thou shalt serve my purpose! Many had called me Bennu, the bird [winged beast] of Ra. Some called me Ankh, the great hawk or the bearer of life. Tajador, the blazing bird; Firebrand, Suzaku (Southern/Vermilion Bird), Ho-oh, Zhuque, Fenghuang,Hi-Oh (Flame/Sun King in Japanese), all means the same thing… I am the flame the birth the stars, the suns and galaxies… I aided the Morningstar once before his fall… I slumber until one is worthy to my vessel to maintain the cycle of rebirth… I am Mael the Phoenix! [Not to be confused with Lady Phenex the Goetia Djinn/Spirit (Genie-type)]"

"Why are you here?", Lincoln asks.

"In due time, neophyte. For now… thou art not worthy of being my vessel but I blessed thee with a fraction of my power. In due time, this little seed will grow and thou shalt become worthy. I am sent by He-who-is-above-All to aid thee in changing thy fate. But I cannot disclose all details… not yet."

"What is that supposed to mean?", Lincoln shouts as the flames grew strong and enveloped the boy further.

"We shalt meet again and thou shalt encounter many wondrous things, events that shalt make thee aghast and astonished. People that shalt be thy friend and foe alike. Every now and then, I shalt take control when necessary for the continuation of the cycle. I am thine and thy humble guide. And I shall judge thee if thou art suited to my service. Fare thee well for now, neophyte of the Sol Invictus [Unconquerable Sun]."

The flames died down and Lincoln was left alone to his devices in his dream. He awoken for a bit, sweating from such perturbing dream. But he returned to sleep eventually, readying for the new day ahead of him.

-Meanwhile, in the Philippines-

A green-hooded archer visited a home without being noticed. He kept his bow on his back and kept his arrows organized as he took a peek on a family photograph of three people; a Chinese-Filipino father, a mother with eye glasses and a young Chinese-Filipina. The light switched on as the father of the household found the archer.

"Hood… or should I say Balthazar", the Chinese-Filipino said. "Kenji Chao… good to see you, old friend.", the archer/Balthazar said.

[I will translate the Tagalog/Filipino conversation with (English)]

"Anong ginagawa mo dito? (Filipino: What are you doing here?)", Kenji asks

"Hindi ba pwede bumisita lang, igan? (Filipino: Can't I just visit, friend?)", Balthazar replied.

"Alam ko na hindi iyan ang pakay mo. Masabi ka na dahil maluluto pa ako ng agahan. (I know that's not why you're here. Just tell me already for it is night time and I have to cook breakfast)", Ken retorts.

"Kenji… nangagamusta lang ako. Para lang makahabol at malaman ang lagay ninyo ni Judalah at Estella. (Kenji… I just came to say hello. I want to catch on and know how are you, Judalah and Estella holding up.)", Balthazar said.

"Itigil mo na ang pagtawag sa amin niyang ngalan na iyan, Robin. Kenneth na ang pangalan ko. Wala na si Judalah, siya'y si Judy na. Binago na namin ang pangalan namin nang kami'y umalis na sa organization. At si Estella ay maayos naman. (Stop calling me by that name, Robin. My name is now Kenneth. Judalah is no more, her name is now Judy. We've changed our name ever since our retirement from the Organization. Estella is fine)", Kenji/Kenneth said.

"Kenneth Zhau, Judy Bonifacio-Zhau and Estella Zhau… clever names.", Robin/Balthazar notes.

"You don't speak English when it's not serious. You know I'm retired… me and my wife. Please leave as you've already overstayed your welcome. And you cannot request me to go back.", Kenji/Kenneth says.

"I don't think so, Kenji. You owe me for saving your daughter.", Balthazar.

Kenji/Kenneth (Ken Zhau for short) wondered why he said this as he already fulfilled all his obligations to this so called "Organization". The archer (Robin Balthazar aka. Hood) explained that ever since the Zhau (formerly Chao) couple retired, enemies that swore revenge on them had risen once more and had networks from various facilities such as politics, medical and merchandises. With Robin/Hood taking care of the problem (albeit temporarily) and safeguarding the Zhau daughter, she will inevitably learn their secret and will be placed in danger. Robin prepared tickets to a private aircraft to flee to another place where it is protected by the Organization. Ken knows not to accept the deal as it will always have an exchange but for the safety of Estella Zhau… there's no other choice. Plus, he remembers that some of his relatives [especially, Estella's Lola/granny lives there].

"You can lounge at the Detroit Continental first, then find the safe house near at Royal Woods, a rural and neutral ground with less 'business' transactions occurring at that place.", Robin explains.

"I know how deals are conducted by the Table. Give me a name, I'll do it but only me. Judy stays out of this.", Ken said.

"No… it's not assassination. Not yet. Only espionage. You can use anything, even your family if it means you can get closer. The target of are Caroline Linnaeus; codename Ciel(CL) and the so-called Loud family. The family is a descendant of Caledonian/Scottish Royalty that may change the course of society if left unchecked. Afterall, the underground had these various experiments on these Meta-DNA mutations.", Robin explained.

"I have served… and will be of service. Kailangan ko munang gisingin ang aking pamilya (I need to wake up my family first)." Ken replies.

As they reached on an agreement, Robin left and will rendezvous at the airport to prepare the aircraft for the Zhau's departure. Ken explained the situation to his wife and Judalah/Judy had no choice but to relent, knowing that it will be for the safety of their daughter. To keep Estella (Stella Zhau) from knowing the truth about them and from being exposed to the shadows of society. Luckily, thanks to their past connections in the Organization/Table, they are able to eradicate their existence in the system… as such no excommunicado could touch them. Even those at Estella's school had readied a transfer file for their departure from the school and gave all copies of Estella's school records to the parents while incinerating their copy from their database.

By noon, Ken and Judy asks Estella to join them on moving out of the house so that they can transfer to America. Estella is confused by this so both the Zhau parents had to make up a lie such as 'taking care of her Nana/Lola (granny)' in the USA. She agreed as he gave her farewell to her friends (neighbors' kids, she doesn't have much) and packed all her stuff. Ken prepared frantically with all his stuff and kept a handgun and pencil, just in case. Once they a ready, Ken drove safely and hurriedly as he reached the private airport. There, they said their goodbye to the country they once served and head to USA with his family… for their own safety. Judy/Judalah asked her daughter to change her name to Stella from here on out as Estella Zhau is no more.

The daughter obediently agreed still confused. She loves her parents but wonders why they went through all this trouble. Thus, the welcoming of the Zhau family to USA. First, they've reached Detroit terminal and went to the Detroit Continental branch for an overnight lounge. Ken asks the concierge for the manager while paying a coin with inscriptions of a Templar cross and Eagle head on the two faces. The caretaker agrees and Ken met with the manager alone, without Judalah/Judy. He asks on the whereabouts of his targets, Ciel (Caroline Linnaeus) and the Loud family. He explains that they are at a neutral ground, where businesses are rarely ever conducted due to its peacefulness, Royal Woods. Coincidentally, that's where the Zhau's will stay at a safe house. The manger offered a meal for him and his family before departing to Royal Woods, which Ken called his wife in agreement.

Royal Woods will soon be visited by the Zhau family soon enough.

-Chapter 2 End: LHAU - Loud Heroes Reboot-

AN2: Chapter 2 of this series is now finished. This reboot idea is inspired from various friends such as Smoking-Wrecker [Epic-Wrecker], nbwatts, JakeVoronkov, and more. This reboot as I may have said or missed, will have a different continuity from my other Loud Heroes AU - Dawn of Injustice Trilogy. Meaning, some stuff will be different. And since this is a reboot of Smoking Wrecker's original, some elements may be different and similar so there you go.

This writing will be a combination of "small scripted format" and "quotation format" to avoid "scripted format" because I will also be posting this in FF-dot-net. I'm so sorry that it took this long to make a second chapter. But I'll try to keep up with the pace. I do have to put so many of my stories into an indefinite hiatus, plus it's difficult to write now that I have a job to keep.

Lincoln Loud & the 7 Witches - Witch Hunt Logbook (definitely hiatus, might be canceled since I'm not good at writing a romantic-comedy setting with Harem elements)

Lincoln Loud, Quiet Kid… hiatus. Trying to build a suspense or a new idea on how to continue the story without using the 'Lincoln Adopted AU'.

The Royal Prince Lincoln… hiatus. Not in a rush since it's a songfic or musical fiction.

Some of my non-Loud House stories are also in hiatus as I'm still trying to build a setting for their new chapters. Please don't rush me, I have a life outside this fanfiction writing too, ya know.

I also need an opening theme song for this story since I will not use 'To Telos Arhizi [The End Begins]' until a certain chapter which will be far in the future [if I ever make it since I've already spoiled a few events that may happen in the future]. The song I had in mind are from the anime series [Fire Force, Eminence in Shadow, Overlord or MHA] or from the Tokusatsu series [Kamen Rider, Super Sentai/Power Rangers, etc.].
