So, the last time we left off, Lincoln has been nabbed by Gena and her crew, and the Louds are trying to figure out a way to deal with this situation. The Louds then received a call from Alex telling them to bring Bobby and Ronnie Anne back to him, or else he'll kill Lincoln. Bobby accepts and he and Ronnie Anne go to their father's location... But all hasn't gone according to plan.

Chapter 22: Blood Brothers And A Detective's Tragedy

Bobby: "NIE-NIE!"

[Bobby ran over to his sister and kneeled beside her...blood was oozing out of the side of her stomach as Bobby tried to cover it. Alex looked shocked at the sight before him as was Marcelle... Feeling the pressure, Gena started yelling at Alex as he apparently never told her about any collateral damage.]

Gena: "WHAT THE FUCK, ALEJANDRO! THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A SIMPLE RANSOM EXCHANGE! A SIMPLE! FUCKING! RANSOM EXCHANGE!"

[Before Alex could even respond, the front doors burst open, and a four-man SWAT team came rushing into the building and aimed their submachine guns at the bikers. Their leader then got out a microphone and spoke into it.]

Alpha Leader: "ATTENTION! THIS IS THE DETROIT P.D.! WE HAVE YOU SURROUNDED! DROP YOUR WEAPONS AND GET DOWN ON THE GROUND WITH YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR HEAD, OR WE WILL OPEN FIRE!"

[Gena simply responded by aiming her pistols at the officers, as did Alex, Marcelle, and the rest of Gena's crew.]

Gena: "FUCK YOU, PIGS! KILL THEM ALL!"

[With that, Bobby quickly dropped down to the floor right next to his sister as bullets started flying over them from both sides. Kiki's chest was riddled with bullet holes and her body collapsed right on top of Lincoln, expiring almost immediately in a pool of her own blood, as the boy could feel the woman's breasts against his head, even with the bag covering his head. Alex hid behind a pillar and started firing at the SWAT team as well. Gena took cover behind some crates and joined her crew in the shootout.]

Alex: "DON'T YOU FUCKERS HAVE ANYTHING BETTER TO DO?!"

[Just then, the Alpha leader ran right next to Kiki's body and moved it off of Lincoln, who was now covered in bloodstains. But as he did, Gena spotted him.]

Gena: "FUCKING PIGS! DON'T LET THEM GET THE BOY!"

[Gena was about to shoot the leader, but the gunfire from his subordinates prevented the head biker from doing so and was forced to get back into cover. All she could do was watch as the SWAT leader picked up the white-haired boy and started carrying him all the way to the entrance as his subordinates kept the other bikers distracted.]

Alpha Leader: "Hang on, son! I gotcha! We're gonna get you out of here!"

[Back outside, Lynn Sr. and Castleton heard the gunfire coming from the warehouse, which caused the patriarch to start panicking. He got out of the van and tried to run into the warehouse to save his son, but Castleton just held him back.]

Lynn Sr.: "LINCOLN!"

Castleton: "Now, remain calm, Mr. Loud! There's nothing we can do at the moment!"

Lynn Sr.: "Damn it! My son is in danger!"

[Just then they heard a noise. Castleton turned to see his van driving away fast.]

Castleton: "HEY! STOP! DAMN IT!"

[Castleton was so distracted that Lynn Sr. broke free from the detective's grasp, but not before incidentally elbowing him in the jaw. Lynn Sr. started running towards the warehouse just as Castleton regained his composure and chased after Lynn Sr. with great speed. Lynn Sr. was halfway to the building when he was then tackled to the ground by the detective.]

Castleton: "ARE YOU TRYING TO GET YOURSELF KILLED IN THERE?! GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF!"

[Lynn Sr. struggled to break free from Castleton's grasp again, but the detective kept holding him down.]

Lynn Sr.: "GET OFF OF ME! I NEED TO GET MY SON OUT OF THERE!"

Castleton: "THAT IS NOT YOUR CALL TO MAKE! NOW HOLD STILL!"

[At that moment, Lynn Sr. and Castleton saw the Alpha leader emerge from the building with Lincoln in his arms. The patriarch was so relieved that stopped struggling, got up to his feet and ran over to his son before the taking the bag off his head and hugging him tightly while letting the tears flow as the rain washed away the blood from the white-haired boy's body.]

Lynn Sr.: "Oh, thank God! Are you alright, my son?!"

Lincoln: "I was so scared, Dad! Those women don't mess around!"

[Castleton spoke to the Alpha leader.]

Castleton: "What the hell's going on in there?!"

Alpha Leader: "It's a warzone...that's what! We heard a gunshot and burst into the warehouse! We had no choice! When we got inside, we saw a young girl on the floor bleeding and unconscious!"

Castleton: "WHAT?!"

[Lincoln's eyes went wide when he heard that.]

Lincoln: "Ronnie Anne! She's still in there with Bobby! She's been hurt! We have to save her!"

[Lincoln broke free from his father's embrace and tried to run back into the warehouse, but the Alpha leader stopped him.]

Alpha Leader: "Now calm down, son! We'll do everything in our power to make sure your friends make it out in one peace!"

Castleton: "Well, you better make damn well sure that you do! I'll keep the boy and his father out of the line of fire. You go get Santiago's children out of there before things get any worse! Quickly!"

[The alpha leader nodded and ran back into the warehouse where he found one of his teammates and three of the bikers on the floor dead. Just then, Alex ran out of his hiding spot before grabbing his son and pointing the gun to the side of his head, causing the bullet show to cease.]

Alex: "Any of you pigs take one more shot and I will blow this little fucker's head clean off! Comprende?!"

Gena: "What the fuck are you doing, you pendejo?!"

Alex: "Keeping these pigs at bay!"

Bobby: "Let me go! I've got a family to feed!"

Alex: "Yes you do, and your familia is right here!"

Gena: "Alex, this was not part of the plan! We were supposed to get both of the children!"

Alex: "Yeah?! Well the plan's fucking changed! We're gonna take my last child and blow this joint! Ronalda's dead now!"

[The Alpha team kept their guns aimed at Alex while Gena started to have second thoughts.]

Alpha Leader: "Now, don't do anything stupid, Santiago! Just put your gun down, let the boy go, and give yourself up. We'll call a medical team to take the girl to a hospital."

Alex: "You can't make me! Not while I have Junior here! Take all of these putas if you want..."

Gena: "Excuse me?!"

Alex: "...but I am walking out of here with my son if it's the last thing I ever do!"

[Feeling betrayed, Gena pointed one of her pistols at Alex, whilst keeping the other one aimed at the SWAT team. Marcelle pointed her own gun at Alex while the remaining bikers kept their own guns aimed at the SWAT team.]

Alex: "What the fuck?"

Gena: "So we're just EXPENDABLE to you?! Do me and my girls mean NOTHING to you?! Are we all just TOOLS in your little plan?! Was our love nothing but a RUSE?!"

Alex: "Since when am I the bad guy here?! All I wanted are my kids back, and you decide to turn your gun against me?! What the hell, Gena?!"

Gena: "I think we heard you loud and clear when you told these pigs to take us! You men are all the same! You're nothing but spineless pigs who care for nothing but yourselves! For your information, I am quite fond of my girls! They are like sisters to me, especially my only blood sister, and I would risk my life for all of them if I could! YOU on the other hand, don't give a shit about anything but your own skin and use others for your petty plans! I even lost three of my girls because of all of this! How could I ever love such a coward like you! So tell me...was Lydia just another one of your slaves?!"

[Alex poked up and turned his gun at Gena. Having this woman rat him out to the police wasn't something he was going to take lightly.]

Alex: "You shut your goddamn mouth RIGHT FUCKING NOW!"

Gena: "Over my dead body, Santiago! And YOURS!"

[Just then, Marcelle looked to her left and her eyes widened when she saw something rolling from the back door and directly towards them.]

Marcelle: "FLASH!"

[Before anyone could react, a great blinding light flashed in front of Alex, Bobby, Gena, and Marcelle, and the big man could only hear his ears ringing. Alex let go of his son and fell backwards to the floor. The big man couldn't see or hear anything and started shooting his pistol wildly until he felt it moving away from his grasp.]

[When the flash died down, Alex found himself on the ground surrounded by three SWAT operatives and Gena surrounded by two more operatives and crying over her sister's dead body, which had a bloody hole through her forehead. He also found Bobby back by Ronnie Anne's side along with one of the SWAT officers as the surviving bikers surrendered to the remaining officers.]

Bravo Leader: "Alex Santiago and Gena Artega...you are both under arrest for kidnapping, domestic abuse, two accounts of attempted murder, and for the murder of Lydia Santiago! You have the right to remain silent! Anything the two of you say can, and will be used against you in a court of law!"

[Alex and a teary-eyed Gena put their hands up while glaring at the SWAT leader.]

Alex: "As opposed to what...motherfucker?"

Gena: "Go to hell, you pig! I never intended to hurt those children!"

Alex: "That's what you think, puta! You and your sister raped that boy when you kidnapped him! I even saw it with my own eyes, so don't blame it all on me!"

Gena: "Well, you attempted to kill the boy even when you told me you were going to give him back! But I saw your own daughter block the shot, you psychotic bastard! You even tried to kill your own son!"

Castleton: "Alright, you two! That's enough! I'll take it from here."

[At that moment, Castleton came in through the back door and walked up to Alex with a smug look on his face.]

Castleton: "So, Santiago... Are you and your 'lover' ready for your first night in jail? Because you're going to be in separate cells in Royal Woods."

Gena: "Good! Cuz' I can never love anyone so wretched as him! He murdered my sister!"

Alex: "Oh, yeah?! Well, I would never love disgusting pedophile like her! How do ya like that, puta?"

Alpha Leader: "Cuff 'em, boys."

[The officers grabbed Alex by the arms and dragged him to his feet before forcing his hands behind his back and cuffing them.]

Alex: "Hey? I didn't do anything! Those women were holding me against my will! It was all her idea!"

[Gena screamed three words at Alex with tears in her eyes as she was being cuffed by the Alpha team.]

Gena: "FUCK YOU, MOTHERFUCKER! MY SISTER WARNED ME ABOUT YOU, AND NOW SHE'S DEAD!"

Bravo Leader: "Alright! Get her to the van! Move it!"

Gena: "GET YOUR GRUBBY HANDS OFF ME, YOU DIRTY FUCKING PIGS!"

[Gena sobbed as she was dragged outside along with the rest of her remaining crew.]

Castleton: "Take Mr. Santiago and his 'girlfriend' to the Royal Woods police station... I'll be seeing him again real soon."

[As three officers were dragging Alex and Gena outside, the former struggled to turn around and look at his children.]

Alex: "Do you feel proud of yourself, Roberto?! Look at what you've done! You brought the policia to take me away, you've upset your replacement madre, and now your little sister is going to die! All of this is your fault! Do you hear me?! ALL! YOUR! FUCKING! FAULT! AS OF TONIGHT, I HAVE NO CHILDREN! DO YOU HEAR ME?! NONE!"

[Bobby started feeling sick to his stomach as he heard those hurtful words come out of his father's mouth while the big man was taken outside and shoved into the back of a SWAT van with Gena. The two criminals were then carted away to the Royal Woods Police Station, never to be seen again for a very long time, while the rest of Gena's gang were taken back to Detroit in a second van to serve their long-term sentences.]

[Meanwhile, the one SWAT operative that stayed behind was doing his best to stabilize Ronnie Anne.]

SWAT Operative: "Hang in there, kid! I'll try to keep you stabilized until the ambulance comes!"

Bobby: "Look at me, Nie-nie! It's going to be okay!"

[Ronnie Anne struggled to open her eyes and looked up at her brother.]

Ronnie Anne: "What...did...he...say...Bobby? That...asshole had...no...right."

SWAT Operative: "Now, don't talk, little girl... We're gonna get you all fixed up as quickly as possible."

Bobby: "Are you sure you know what you're doing, sir?!"

SWAT Operative: "Don't you worry about that! I've been taking medical classes before I joined the force!"

[After some time, the medic managed to stabilize Ronnie Anne's wounds before wiping the sweat off of his own forehead.]

SWAT Operative: "Okay... I think I've managed to buy her some time... We just have to wait until the ambulance arrives."

Bobby: "I appreciate your help, mister..."

SWAT Operative: "Garcia."

Bobby: "Gracias!"

[About eight minutes later, the ambulance arrived to take Ronnie Anne to the local hospital. Bobby and Lincoln watched in fear as it drove away. Lincoln just couldn't believe that Ronnie Anne got shot by her father, and now he's fearing some outcomes for her.]

[Lincoln snapped out of his thoughts when he heard the horn of his family's van beeping.]

Lynn Sr.: "Get in, boys! We don't want to lose track of that ambulance!"

[Bobby and Lincoln got in the second row seats of Vanzilla, and Lynn Sr. took the wheel. They were just about to follow the ambulance, when the patriarch of the Loud family heard a knock on the driver's door, before turning to see Castleton.]

Castleton: "Do you mind taking me with you, Mr. Loud? My partner took off without me."

[Lynn Sr. nodded and allowed the detective to sit in the second row seats right next to Bobby before driving off to follow the ambulance as the sound of a helicopter was heard landing near the rail yard.]

[As they were driving along, Bobby gave Lincoln his green jacket to cover his body and burns. Lynn Sr. decided to make small talk with Castleton to pass the time.]

Lynn Sr.: "So, uhhh... Where did you learn to run so fast?"

Castleton: "I participated in the olympics as a runner... I won a few gold medals, but I decided to give that up to join the army."

Lynn Sr.: "You were a soldier?"

Castleton: "I was in Iraq...but that's all in the past along with the olympics."

[Lynn Sr. chuckled.]

Lynn Sr.: "It's kind of a shame that you're retired from the olympics, otherwise I would've let my daughter Lynn Jr. challenge you to a foot race... She's done just about every sport on this planet."

[Castleton smirked.]

Castleton: "Well...I guess you trained her well."

Lynn Sr.: "Yeah, but she tends to be a bit boastful when it comes to her reputation."

Castleton: "Sure...I've been there."

[Castleton rubbed his sore face, which made Lynn Sr. feel guilty.]

Lynn Sr.: "Listen, I...I'm sorry for hitting you... I was just..."

[Castleton raised his hand to make Lynn Sr. stop speaking.]

Castleton: "Don't worry about it, Mr. Loud... I know that feeling of trying to save a loved one...and yet, I couldn't even save them..."

[Castleton drooped his head down, much to Lynn Sr.'s concern.]

Lynn Sr.: "Do you want to-"

Castleton: "No... It's best that I don't... It's too painful..."

[Bobby and Lincoln sat in the third row seats feeling extreme anxiety. Bobby tried to speak to Lincoln, but the white-haired boy turned his head away...making the Latino worry even more.]

Bobby: "It's going to be okay, Bro...I hope."

Meanwhile, at the Royal Woods Police Department...

[Castleton and Koch's superior, an African-American man in his early 50s named Captain Palmer was sitting in his office looking over some reports when he heard the door slam open and saw Koch rush in, much to the captain's annoyance.]

Palmer: "What the hell, Koch?! You can't just burst into my office unless it's an emergency! And you never came her with any emergencies that don't involve food!"

Koch: "Sorry, Captain... But I got some bad news... Castleton's gone."

Palmer: "What do you mean he's gone?"

Koch: "I mean he's dead! We were investigating the kidnapper's hideout and we ran into a ambush!"

Palmer: "Oh, for God's sake! Do you mean to tell me that you just left your own partner to DIE?!"

Koch: "I-I-I tried to save him, but there were just too many of those bitches! For God's sake, they were waiting for us!"

[Just then, the captain heard something on the small television. Palmer and Koch turned to look at the TV screen and saw that the news was airing at the rail yard. Katherine Mulligan from Channel 3 News, who had recently arrived on the scene by helicopter, spoke into her microphone.]

Katherine: "I'm Katherine Mulligan of Channel 3 News giving you the latest scoop... Just recently at the Fernville rail yard, gunfire broke out between feared Detroit motorcycle gang, Las Hermanas and members of the Detroit Police Special Weapons And Tactics unit resulting in the deaths of five bikers and one officer! Las Hermanas leader, Gena Artega and her associate, Alex Santiago are being carted away to the Royal Woods police station as we speak!"

Palmer: "Well, I'll be damned! They actually caught the son of a bitch!"

[Koch put his knuckles on his hips and gave off a confident smile.]

Koch: "Well, that's a relief!"

[Just then, Katherine walked over to a railroad worker who had witnessed the carnage...or at least, heard it.]

Katherine: "With me now is one of the yard workers who claims to have seen the shootout take place. So, tell us what you saw, Mr. Fredrix..."

Mr. Fredrix: "Well, I was taking a break by the engine shed, when I heard the sound a gun going off in one of the warehouses. I ran over to check until I heard more gunfire coming out, so I took cover behind one of the barrels nearby... I looked out for a moment and saw two men running towards it. One of them was wearing a suit and tackled the other man to the ground. When the gunfire stopped, I saw a SWAT team opening the back door and throwing something in it. After whatever that was went off, they ran inside."

[The smile on Koch's face turned into a frown when he put two and two together. It was clear that he and the captain can make out the suited man that was mentioned.]

Koch: "What? He's still alive?"

Katherine: "We'll bring you more on these criminals in question once we have more information. Until next time, this is Katherine Mulli-"

[Palmer turned off the TV and stared at Koch, obviously unamused.]

Palmer: "You told me he died, Koch..."

Koch: "I thought he did! You really expect me to run into a warehouse with a bunch of women with guns that scream bloody murder and get him out?! I wanted to save him, but those girls were killers!"

[Palmer raised his hand to silence Koch.]

Palmer: "We'll talk about this tomorrow, Kochner... But right now, you need to go back home and get some rest, because you and Castleton will be interrogating Mr. Santiago and Miss Artega..."

[Koch sighed and was about to head out the door when Palmer spoke again.]

Palmer: "And one more thing, Kochner... After the bullshit you just pulled on me and Castleton, consider yourself on thin ice... 'Cause if you pull one more stunt like that, it'll be your badge! Got it?!"

Koch: "I wasn't trying to-"

Palmer: "This discussion is finished...now go!"

[Koch grumbled as he left his superior's office.]

Later, at Fernville General Hospital...

[Bobby, Lincoln and Lynn Sr. sat in the waiting room anticipating news of Ronnie Anne's condition. This was the second time that someone close to Bobby has been taken to the hospital, and he was extremely worried. Finally, a doctor came out of the operating room wearing scrubs.]

Bobby: "Doctor, is my sister going to be alright?"

Doctor: "Well, we have to take her into the operating room because that bullet is lodged pretty good in her abdomen. Don't you worry, we'll do what we can to save her."

[With that, the doctor headed back into the operating room as Bobby slumped his head down and covered his face. Lynn Sr. put his hand around the Latino and sighed.]

Bobby: "I guess this is it... Ronnie Anne's going to die soon...isn't she?"

Lynn Sr.: "Didn't you hear what the doctor said? He said they're going to do everything to make sure she pulls through!"

Bobby: "And what if they can't? I already lost my mother months ago...I don't want to lose anyone else."

[Just then, Castleton came into the room.]

Castleton: "Mr. Loud, why don't you take your son down to the cafeteria? I need to speak to Bobby alone."

[Lynn Sr. nodded and stood up.]

Lynn Sr.: "C'mon, son... We'll see if there's anything you might like to eat downstairs. Maybe we'll check back later to see how Ronnie Anne's doing."

[Lynn Sr. took his son's hand and guided him out of the waiting room while Castleton sat right next to Bobby.]

Castleton: "Bobby... I know this is rough...but you need to pull through this and hope that your sister makes it... When I come face to face with your father...I'll make damn sure he doesn't hurt you again."

[Bobby looked up at the detective.]

Bobby: "I don't know if I can do it, Mr. Castleton."

Castleton: "Listen...I know what you're going through... I had a family once...a wife, two sons...they were everything to me, but I rarely saw them when I joined the Army."

Bobby: "What happened to them?"

Castleton: "I was on my second tour of duty from Iraq and decided to take the family on a road trip... At one point, we stopped to get gas...my wife stayed with the kids while I went inside the store to pay for the gas and get some snacks... Just then, this kid who was around eighteen or something started holding up the store... I tried to intervene, but the kid started firing his machine gun...he missed but he hit the gas pumps near my car, and..."

[Castleton sighed and put his hand over his head.]

Castleton: "I'm sorry...I don't think I need to say anymore..."

Bobby: "It's okay, Castleton... I just hope Ronnie Anne makes it through...she's the only real family that I have left."

Castleton: "I know... By the way...I spoke with your friend about your father..."

Bobby: "Who? You mean Chaz? What did he say?"

Castleton: "He says he forgives you."

[Down in the cafeteria, Lincoln was sitting at a table in the middle of the room looking forlorn... Since it was nightfall, the cafeteria was almost empty. Just then, his father had returned with a tray filled with chicken and mashed potatoes.]

Lynn Sr.: "How are you holding up, son?"

[Lincoln said nothing as he looked down at the floor. Lynn Sr. sighed and put his hand on his son's shoulder.]

Lynn Sr.: "Look, son...I know this hurts... But I need you to toughen up for me, okay? Like Lynn Jr.?"

[Lincoln looked up at his father for a few seconds before looking down at the floor again.]

Lincoln: "But I can never be tough like Lynn... I let this happen."

Lynn Sr.: "Now, there's no need to act like this! What happened to Ronnie Anne was completely Mr. Santiago's fault! He was a horrible excuse for a father and he had no right to use you as bait like that! But now he's going to jail, so we won't have to worry about him for a very long time."

[Lincoln sighed.]

Lincoln: "I know you're trying to make me feel better, but it's not working for me... I only wanted to help Bobby, Lori and Ronnie Anne...but I only made things worse."

Lynn Sr.: "Lincoln...I'm telling you, it wasn't your fault..."

[Lynn Sr. motioned for his son to come over to him, and he gladly accepted. Lincoln sat on his father's lap and received a hug from him.]

Lynn Sr.: "Everything's going to be okay, son..."

[Lynn Sr. got his cell phone out of his sweater and dialed his house number.]

Meanwhile, at the Loud house...

[Lori was laying on her bed holding the photo album of her and Bobby during their best moments together. She had been crying ever since Bobby and Ronnie Anne left the house, and now she was fresh out of tears. All she had now were tear-stained mascara marks running down her cheeks.]

Leni: "Lori...are you feeling okay?"

[Lori turned her head to look at her sister and roommate with a sad, puppy dog-eyed look.]

Lori: "Do I look okay, Leni?"

Leni: "Well...the way you hair is drooped down, you almost look like Lucy with blonde hair."

Lori: "Ha, ha, ha...very funny... I'm trying to cope with the fact that I have literally lost my boyfriend to his abusive father, and now I'm left to care for his child."

Leni: "But, don't you want this baby?"

Lori: "I do...but it's just not the same without my Bobby Boo-Boo Bear."

Leni: "Look...I know it's, like, none of my concern, but... This was out of our control... Bobby only left to protect us..."

[Lori sighed. Just then, Rita came into the room and walked over to her oldest daughter's bed.]

Rita: "Lori? I just got off the phone with your father..."

[Lori looked up at her mother.]

Rita: "He says that your brother's alright... He's at the Fernville hospital with your father and Bobby."

[Lori's eyes widened when she heard her boyfriend's name.]

Lori: "Did you say Bobby's with them? Is he alright?"

Rita: "He's fine...physically, at least... But, Ronnie Anne...I don't know how to say this, but...she's been shot."

[Lori gasped.]

Lori: "What?! Oh my God! That is terrible! Who would literally do this to my Boo-Boo Bear's sister?!"

Rita: "I think it's pretty obvious, isn't it?"

Lori: "Alex! Of course it had to be him! I can't believe he would go that far!"

Rita: "Don't you worry about Alex... As of right now, he's going straight to jail where he won't be a threat to us anymore... Your father should be returning home with Lincoln and Bobby real soon..."

[Lori sighed. She was glad that Alex was finally being brought to justice, but she was also worried about her boyfriend's sister.]

Rita: "It'll be okay, honey."

[Rita gave her eldest daughter a kiss on her head before walking out of the room. Lori remained on her bed thinking to herself.]

Lori: Poor Bobby... If he loses Ronnie Anne, I don't know what he'll do.

[A couple of hours later, Lynn Sr., Lincoln, and Bobby arrived home to find Rita and the girls waiting to greet them. Rita and her daughters ran over to the white-haired boy and hugged him so much as the matriarch started tearing up. Lynn Sr. and Bobby stood by the door and watched the family embrace.]

Rita: "Oh, my sweet baby boy! We were so worried about you!"

Leni: "Linky! You're safe!"

Luna: "We missed ya, brah!"

Lynn: "Welcome back, Stink-coln!"

Lincoln: "I missed you guys too... Don't worry, I'm alright."

Lynn Sr.: "Sorry we're late... We...had to drop Detective Castleton off at the police station...I think he's ready to give Alex what's coming to him... Speaking of Alex, I gave that psychopath a very hard blow to the jaw before they took him away...I hope that'll teach him not to harm the family of Lynn-Sanity Sr. again."

[Luna then noticed her brother wearing Bobby's jacket.]

Luna: "Uh...dude? Why are you wearing the Bobsled's shirt?"

Lincoln: "Oh... My old one got ripped up while I was captured, so Bobby gave me his."

Rita: "Well, then we better head upstairs and get you fitted into a new one right away."

Lincoln: "NO! I mean...I'll go and get one by myself."

[With that, Lincoln ran up the stairs to his room while most of his sisters followed him out of curiosity. Lori, however, stayed behind so she could try to talk to Bobby, who simply walked over to the couch and sat there.]

Lori: "Mom...Dad... Could you please give us some space?"

Lynn Sr.: "Of course, honey... If you need us, we'll be in our room."

[Both parents went into their room and shut the door, leaving Lori and Bobby by themselves in the living room.]

Lori: "Bobby Boo-Boo Bear? I...I missed you."

[Bobby said nothing, much to Lori's concern.]

Lori: "How's Ronnie Anne doing?"

Bobby: "The doctor said her operation went well, but she needs to rest for about a week or so..."

Lori: "Oh, Boo-Boo Bear! I'm so sorry!"

Bobby: "Can you just...leave me alone...please?"

[Lori started clinging onto to her boyfriend's arm as if pleading for him.]

Lori: "No, Bobby! I can't stand to see you suffer any more. We'll get through this."

[Bobby forced his arm away from Lori and stood up off the couch.]

Bobby: "You know I'm not in the mood right now. I'm sorry, but I just need some time alone."

[Lori sighed before standing up.]

Lori: "Well...I was only trying to help you...but I can see where my help isn't needed."

[With that, Lori approached the stairs and with a look of concern and sadness, took one look back at her boyfriend before going up the stairs to her room. Bobby sat back on the couch and laid down feeling a little guilty for rejecting his girlfriend's attempt to make him better.]

Later...

[Bobby woke up on the couch and heard screaming coming from the front door...it sounded like Lori was in labor. He got up off the couch and walked slowly to the door. He opened it to find himself in some kind of hallway, like what he'd see at a hospital.]

Bobby: "What the hell?"

[Bobby walked through the hospital-like hallway hearing the familiar sounds of his girlfriend's family crying for help from all the doors from left and right until he approached the door at the end of the hall to hear Lori's screams coming from it. He opened the door and walked inside before gasping in horror. Inside the room were two beds and two occupants tied to them. Lori was in one bed, while Ronnie Anne was in the other...and watching over them was Alex in scrubs.]

Bobby: "Dad!"

Alex: "Hola, Junior... You're just in time for my examination."

Bobby: "What have you done with them, you bastard?!"

[Alex walked over to Bobby and raised his hands and a reassuring fashion.]

Alex: "Calm down, mijo... I just want to examine your mind."

Bobby: "What do you mean 'examine'? What do they have to do with this?!"

[Alex walked back to the beds.]

Alex: "I just need to ask you something... If you had to choose one of these people...who would it be? Your own disobedient sister, or some degenerate puta who wants nothing but a child with you? You have ten seconds to decide... Diez... Nueve... Ocho..."

[Bobby looked back and forth at his sister, and then at his girlfriend, and then back again.]

Ronnie Anne: "Bobby...help..."

Lori: "Boo-Boo Bear...don't leave me..."

Alex: "Cuatro... Tres... Dos..."

Bobby: "Lori!"

[Alex stopped counting down and Bobby's eyes started tearing up.]

Bobby: "Just let Lori go free...she's suffered enough! For God's sake, she's carrying my child..."

[Ronnie Anne was shocked as stared angrily at Bobby.]

Ronnie Anne: "How could you, Bobby?! I THOUGHT YOU WERE MY BROTHER!"

[Alex rolled his eyes and started digging into his bag.]

Alex: "Not the decision I would've made, Junior...but I guess you know how that saying goes...'The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few'."

[Alex then took a knife and hovered it over his daughter. Bobby closed her eyes and turned away, waiting for it to be over.]

Bobby: "I'm sorry, Nie-nie..."

[Bobby heard the sickening sound of a knife being forced into his sister's head. However, he heard Lori screaming and opened his eyes...only to find Alex cutting Lori's stomach open with the knife. He then dug his hands inside the blonde teen's stomach, causing her to scream until she was out of breath...making Bobby feel sick. Alex pulled a stillborn fetus out of the open wound...much to Bobby's horror.]

Alex: "This is the reason you came here...no? The thing you tried to give up just so that white-haired prick can live? Well, you don't deserve something like this disgusting thing! You are a failure of a person, and it's your own fault that Ronalda is DEAD!"

[Bobby clenched his fists and glared angrily at this man who he can no longer consider his father.]

Bobby: "You let my child go, you lying son of a bitch!"

[Alex charged towards his father, but the lights suddenly went off.]

[Bobby then found himself in a dark room sitting at a desk with nothing but a lamp hanging overhead. He is then approached by two shadowy figures who seem to resemble Lynn Sr. and Rita.]

Lynn Sr.: "Look at what you've done, Bobby! Our daughter and grandchild are gone and you've let it happen!"

Bobby: "No! That's not true, Mr. Loud! I just wanted to protect them!"

Rita: "You have no idea the damage you've caused for our family! You are nothing but a failure!"

Bobby: "I thought she was going to let her go! Please! Help!"

[Bobby shielded his face from the two adults as they marched towards him.]

Dream ends...

[Bobby woke up with a start on the couch and sat up... He looked around and noticed that it was still night time...before looking up the stairs. He sighed before getting up off the couch and heading up the stairs. As soon as he reached the top, he bumped into Lincoln, who had just went out of his room holding Bun-Bun.]

Lincoln: "Oh...hey Bobby."

Bobby: "Lincoln? What are you doing still up?"

Lincoln: "I...couldn't sleep... I had a bad dream..."

Bobby: "What was it about?"

[Lincoln sighed.]

Lincoln: "You don't want to know."

Bobby: "How about we discuss this in the kitchen?"

[Lincoln nodded and followed his oldest sister's boyfriend downstairs.]

[When they were in the kitchen, both boys sat down on the floor. Bobby told Lincoln about the dream he had, leaving the white-haired boy shocked at the details.]

Lincoln: "Wow... That's heavy... Sounds kinda like my dream...except the part where you were being yelled at by Mom and Dad."

Bobby: "You wanna tell me about it?"

[Lincoln sighed and told the Latino about his own dream.]

Lincoln: "Well, I was walking through a hallway that looked like the one at my school...and I heard some yelling coming from the door at the end of said hall. When I opened the door...I was in some science lab of some kind...must've been influenced by Lisa... Anyway, I saw Lori in one bed and Ronnie Anne in another...I even saw your father in a lab coat."

Bobby: "What did he do?"

Lincoln: "He wanted me to choose between Lori or Ronnie Anne..."

Bobby: "Who did you pick?"

[Lincoln sighed.]

Lincoln: "You're probably going to be angry at me for this, but...I picked Lori like you did."

[Bobby sighed.]

Lincoln: "You probably think I made a bad choice, didn't you? The truth is...I don't want to lose either of them. Your sister's a great friend, and I like her very much...but I also love my oldest sister... She's been like a second mother to me and the rest of my sisters...even if she tends to be a bit bossy at times."

Bobby: "Don't worry about it, bro... As far as I'm concerned, I feel the same way as you do... I wouldn't want to lose either of them myself. I love Lori and Ronnie Anne as well, and I want to protect them like you do. If anything, I say they're both lucky to have you."

Lincoln: "Thanks, Bobby...that means a lot."

Bobby: "You're welcome, bro... I think my dream was caused by how I rejected Lori when she tried to help me earlier... I hope she can forgive me for it."

Lincoln: "I think mine was caused by my guilt... I was supposed to protect your sister, and I feel like that I've failed... I don't even know if I can face her at the hospital."

[Bobby thought for a moment before something clicked in his head.]

Bobby: "I have an idea... Why don't you and I...become blood brothers?"

Lincoln: "What do you mean?"

[Bobby stood up and dug his hand in one of the drawers until he pulled out a small, yet sharp knife, much to Lincoln's uneasiness.]

Lincoln: "I don't know, Bobby... What if my family suspects something? My sisters had a fit when they saw my burn marks."

Bobby: "Don't worry, bro... I have a plan."

[With that, Bobby used the knife to make a small cut on his pinky finger. Then, he had Lincoln extend his own pinky while Bobby made a small cut in it as well. Finally, both boys did a pinky swear with their mildly cut fingers.]

Bobby: "We both have very special loved ones we want to protect...right?"

Lincoln: "Yeah?"

Bobby: "And we both want them to be happy...right?"

Lincoln: "Right?"

Bobby: "Then with this bond, we swear to make Lori and Ronnie Anne feel happy and safe...even if we might eventually live in separate homes... Agreed?"

Lincoln: "Agreed."

[In Lori and Leni's room, Lori was in her bed trying her best to get some sleep when she heard the door creak open. She looked to see Bobby walking in while Leni was still sleeping soundly in her own bed.]

Bobby: "Lori?"

Lori: "What is it?"

Bobby: "Can I sleep with you? Nothing too extreme! I just wanted to spend time with you."

[Lori rolled her eyes and motioned for her boyfriend to join her. Bobby sat on the edge of the bed.]

Lori: "What made you change your mind, Bobby?"

Bobby: "Well...I guess I realized that I needed your company in this miserable time."

[Lori gave her boyfriend a doubtful look.]

Bobby: "Okay, so I might've had another nightmare about my father... It's been really difficult for me ever since what happened back in Fernville."

Lori: "Yeah...I'd feel the same way if something like this happened to Lincoln... The truth is...I couldn't sleep too well, either."

[Bobby sighed and took one look at his girlfriend.]

Bobby: "I'm sorry, Lori... It's because I pushed you away earlier...wasn't it? I never wanted to do that to you...I guess I was still thinking about what my father said to me at the rail yard."

Lori: "Bobby..."

Bobby: "I can still hear those words... He told me that he has no children...right after he shot Ronnie Anne...and tried to kill me."

[Lori's eyes started to well up with tears as she got on her knees and leaned on her boyfriend's neck for dear life.]

Lori: "Stop it...Bobby... I can't take this..."

Bobby: "And then there was this woman who my father introduced as my possible mother. I think she may have been the one who kidnapped Lincoln. She wanted to be my new mother when I turned myself and my little Nie-nie in...at least that's what she thought... I had a real mother, but she had to be taken from me by some...some..."

[Bobby couldn't finish and sighed. Lori scooted beside her boyfriend and leaned her head on his shoulder.]

Lori: "Bobby...please try forget about them... They're not going to matter anymore... I don't know too much about this woman, but Alex never had any children to begin with."

Bobby: "How can I forget about him after what he did my sister? I should've been the one to take that bullet instead of her!"

[Lori moved away from her boyfriend when he heard what came out of his mouth.]

Lori: "And make me raise our baby without you? You don't mean that literally!"

[Bobby turned to look at Lori and his hands on her cheeks while looking into her eyes.]

Bobby: "If it means protecting my whole family...then I would do it."

[Lori put her hands on Bobby's shoulders and kissed him on the lips.]

Lori: "Don't talk like that, Boo-Boo Bear... You have a brave little sister and a devoted girlfriend who's carrying your first child...and we are going to get through this together... I love you..."

[Bobby embraced his girlfriend and took one whiff of her hair.]

Bobby: "Thanks, babe... I love you too."

Lori: "I know you do... Just promise that you'll never leave me again... I don't wanna be alone anymore...and I literally don't want to raise our child all by myself... Even with my family's help, I still feel lonely."

Bobby: "Well...now that my father's out of the picture, I promise... I will never leave your side again."

[Bobby then placed his left arm on Lori's baby bump.]

Bobby: "The same goes for our little bumblebee too."

[Together, the two lovers laid back in bed and slept in each other's arms, knowing that nothing can ever tear them apart again...hopefully.]

The next day at Royal Woods Elementary...

[Lincoln sat in the classroom listening to Mrs. Johnson break the news about Ronnie Anne's absence.]

Mrs. Johnson: "Now, since Ronnie Anne Santiago has had an...accident yesterday, I'm afraid she won't be with us for at least a week or two... But, this will give all of you the chance to make some get well soon cards for her...so I will need you all to get out some paper and crayons."

Clyde: "So...how are you holding up, Buddy?"

[Lincoln said nothing and laid his head back down on his desk.]

Clyde: "I could set you up an appointment with Dr. Lopez if you'd like... She was the one that helped me cope with that whole biker incident yesterday."

Lincoln: "Thanks, but no thanks, Clyde... I can't escape the feeling that it's my fault."

Clyde: "How is this your fault?"

[Lincoln sighed.]

Lincoln: "Never mind... Let's just focus on making our cards."

Clyde: "Yeah... Dr. Lopez says not to let guilt overcome you."

[Later, it was the end of school for the day. Lincoln emerged from the school holding a basket full of get well soon cards for Ronnie Anne and saw his family waiting in the driveway with Vanzilla.]

Lynn Sr.: "Hey, Lincoln! You ready to go visit Ronnie Anne?"

[Lincoln nodded and went into the family van before being driven to Fernville General Hospital.]

Later, at Fernville General Hospital...

[Bobby and the Loud family sat in the waiting room. The sisters started discussing about the events that had transpired the previous night.]

Lola: "The total nerve of that meanie! How can anyone be so sick in the head?"

Lana: "I don't like this anymore than you do, Lola...none of us do! But it's okay to bury my old frog in the backyard, but not okay for someone like Ronnie Anne's father to shoot her?"

Lola: "How can you bring that up?!"

Leni: "Never mind that! Did you see those burn spots on Linky's body? If that creep was trying to make him smoke, I think he needs to work on his aim."

Luna: "No, Leni...I think it's pretty clear what that nut job was trying to do to him..."

Rita: "Girls...whatever he's done to your brother...it's all over now..."

Lola: "I hope so this time... That sicko deserves to rot in his cell."

Lucy: "I couldn't agree more."

[Finally, the doctor came in to greet them.]

Lincoln: "How's Ronnie Anne doing?"

Doctor: "She's okay... Once she's able to move, she'll have to spend about a week in physical therapy here, but hopefully she'll be discharged before Christmas..."

Lincoln: "Can I see her?"

Doctor: "Of course you can... She's still resting from the surgery, but I think she'll be awake soon."

Lori: "I better go with him... He might need some moral support."

Bobby: "Don't forget me, you guys. She is my little sister, after all."

[The trio followed the doctor through the halls until they reached Ronnie Anne's room. They went inside to see the young Latina laying in bed hooked up to a monitor. Lincoln felt incredibly hurt seeing his friend in this state. He took a deep breath and walked over to Ronnie Anne before holding her hand.]

Lincoln: "I'm so sorry, Ronnie Anne... This is all my fault... If I'd just ran after you sooner, this wouldn't have happened... Please wake up..."

[Lincoln's eyes started to well up with tears, which was noticed by Lori, who walked right beside her brother and wrapped her arm around him. Lincoln leaned his head against his older sister's baby bump and cried.]

Lori: "Please don't cry, Lincoln... She's going to be alright."

[Bobby then walked up next to the two Louds and tousled Lincoln's hair.]

Bobby: "Yeah, little Loud... You're not the only one who's worried here."

[Just then, they heard groaning and saw that it was coming from Ronnie Anne. They all watched as Ronnie Anne slowly opened her eyes and checked her surroundings.]

Ronnie Anne: "Wha...where...am I? What happened?"

Lincoln: "Ronnie Anne...it's me and Lori."

Ronnie Anne: "Lincoln? Where's Bobby?"

[Bobby approached his sister and held her hand.]

Bobby: "I'm right here, Nie-nie..."

Ronnie Anne: "Hey, bro..."

[Bobby wrapped his arm around his sister and hugged her.]

Doctor: "Well...I think I'd better get back to work. You call me if something's wrong."

[Ronnie Anne nodded before the doctor left the room.]

Bobby: "Oh, Ronnie Anne, I was so scared!"

Ronnie Anne: "I'm doing fine...sorta."

[Ronnie Anne sighed and looked away.]

Ronnie Anne: "I just can't believe that bastard shot me."

Bobby: "I'm really sorry that you're stuck here... I should've known that our father would pull something like this."

Ronnie Anne: "It's okay, Bobby... It wasn't your fault."

Lori: "Why would Alex want to kill you, anyway?"

Ronnie Anne: "He wasn't trying to... He was aiming at Lincoln..."

[Lori and Lincoln gasped when they heard what came out of the Latina's mouth. Bobby just sighed.]

Lincoln: "Ronnie Anne..."

Lori: "Kill my only brother?! You have got to be fucking kidding me!"

[Lori was so furious that she nearly crushed her phone. Bobby put his hands on her shoulders to calm her down.]

Lori: "He never intended to let you go?! That sick son of a fucker! If I ever see him again, I will literally shove that cigar so far up his ass that he'll be blowing nicotine out of it for the rest of his LIFE!"

Bobby: "Babe, please calm down!"

Lori: "How can I calm down when my only brother almost DIED?!"

[Lori then buried her face in her boyfriend's chest while he rubbed her back.]

Lori: "What kind of person would do this to a child?!"

Lincoln: "I let it happen... I should've just ran out of that park sooner instead of trying to help Clyde."

Lori: "Lincoln! Stop! None of this was your fault at all!"

[Lincoln looked back at his older sister.]

Lincoln: "That's what you have to say?"

[Lori wrapped her arms around Lincoln's neck as he hugged her stomach.]

Lori: "Listen...I know you can make a mistake now and then, but you've done a good deed trying to save Ronnie Anne from that monster... You are literally a great friend to her..."

Ronnie Anne: "She's right you know. Plus...what I did for you back at Fernville...think of it as payback for helping me and Bobby."

Lincoln: "Uh...thanks, Ronnie Anne... I hope you get better soon..."

Ronnie Anne: "I hope so too, Lincoln... It's just so hard to believe that asshole would offer us to some junkie woman and pass her off as our new mother."

Bobby: "That doesn't matter, because it's all over now... They won't terrorize us anymore. They're gone and we're free. We're finally free from our fa- I mean, from 'him' and that biker woman, whoever the hell she was...

[Bobby then walked over to his sister and with tears beginning to form in his eyes, he embraced her.]

Bobby: "Just please try not to do anything this risky ever again! I could've lost you!"

Ronnie Anne: "I'm okay, Bobby..."

[Lori walked over to Bobby and put her hands on his shoulders.]

Lincoln: "Do you guys mind giving us some space? I just want to spend some time with Ronnie Anne."

Lori: "Well...I guess we'll leave you two lovebirds alone for now... Have fun!"

Lincoln: "She's not my girlfriend!"

Ronnie Anne: "Yeah! What he said, but the other way around!"

Lori: "Not yet, but soon!"

[Lori winked at her brother and left the room with Bobby. Lincoln looked back and saw Ronnie Anne's expression turn sad.]

Lincoln: "What's the matter with you, Ronnie Anne? Why would you risk your own life just to save me?"

Ronnie Anne: "Because...I like you, Lincoln... You've been by my side, even after all those times I've bullied you at school..."

Lincoln: "That's because you were negatively influenced."

Ronnie Anne: "Also...your family can't survive without you... You're the 'Man With The Plan'... From what you've been telling me, you've been coming up with all kinds of plans to deal with your sisters, even if most of them tend to backfire... But I think your best one has to be when you used my diary to expose my father's abuse."

Lincoln: "Thanks, Ronnie Anne... By the way, I got all these get 'well soon' cards from everyone at school..."

[Lincoln put the basket on a nearby chair and took out a card.]

Lincoln: "Here...I want you to read mine first."

[Lincoln handed Ronnie Anne his card. She opened it and read what was written on it.]

Ronnie Anne: "Dear, Ronnie Anne... When I first met you, all you did was play pranks on me and made me look like a fool... However, after some convincing from my sisters, I started to take a liking to you... When Lori and Bobby wanted us to accompany them to Jean-Juan's, I got to know you a little more... I'll never forget the day when I tried to avoid you at the Sadie Hawkins dance, or went to the arcade with you that very same day... Please get better soon... Your friend, Lincoln..."

[Ronnie Anne looked back at Lincoln with a small smile.]

Ronnie Anne: "Wow...thanks, Lincoln."

[Lincoln walked over to Ronnie Anne and gave her a hug while the Latina happily hugged back.]

Lincoln: "Well...It's the least I could do."

[Just then, Lincoln received a text on his cell phone.]

Lincoln: "I better get going now, Ronnie Anne... My family's waiting for me."

Ronnie Anne: "Okay, Lincoln... I better not keep you hanging."

[Lincoln turned around and was about to head out the door when Ronnie Anne spoke again.]

Ronnie Anne: "By the way...those cigar burns on your chest...I think they make you look kinda...tough."

[Lincoln blushed madly at what Ronnie Anne just said before continuing out the door and shutting it. Ronnie Anne laid back down and sighed.]

Ronnie Anne: "You never cease to amaze me...do you, Lame-O?"

Ellis97: I have a feeling they will be.

Boris Yeltsin: Thanks again.
