Chapter 1: Finding the Sparkle

Hello, I am Izumi Midoriya. In this world around eighty percent of the population are born with powers we call quirks. In the beginning, there was chaos as no one knew how to handle the rise of quirks. But in the midst of that chaos champions arose to protect the innocent and we had people to look up to. These were heroes and it has been my dream to become one since I could remember.

We see a little girl with long, curly green hair and freckles watching a video of a hero saving people in an accident.

"Ha ha ha! Fear not citizens, hope has arrived. Because I AM HERE!"

The hero said.

"Yeah! All Might is the coolest hero in the universe! And when I get my quirk I'm going to be just like him!"

"Sorry kid, it's not going to happen."

We now cut to the girl and her mother, Inko Midoriya, a woman with long and straight green hair, seeing a doctor.

"Are you sure?"

"Positive. See these x-rays? The human body has adapted to be more streamlined with the appearance of quirks. Everyone who has had this extra joint in their pinky toe has been quirkless."

Unfortunately, I was born quirkless and my dream seemed impossible now. But then something amazing happened.

Inko was taking her daughter back home and thinking of a way to cheer her up. That's when she noticed something. There was a poster for a show at a theatre. It was about All Might and it was being performed by a traveling group of performers.

"Do you want to see this play, Izumi? It's about All Might."

"Okay."

Izumi said in a despondent tone. She has been like this since the doctor examined her. The duo went into the theatre and were amazed by the atmosphere the theatre had. It was so lively and uplifted their spirits immediately.

"Hello there! Are you here to see the show?"

The ticket person asked.

"Yes. How much for one adult and one child to the All Might show?"

As Inko was getting the tickets, Izumi was walking around the theatre, taking in the excitement all around her. Unknowingly she ventured into the actors' room.

"Hmm, what are you doing here little girl?"

The man playing All Might asked.

"Oh, sorry! I was exploring and got lost."

"That's okay. Are you enjoying the theatre?"

"Yes. It feels so magical."

"Izumi! Where are you?"

Inko said as she burst through the door.

"There you are! I'm sorry about that?"

Inko said as she bowed her head.

"It's quite alright. She was just amazed by the theatre magic."

While Inko and the actor were talking, Izumi noticed a chest underneath the clothing rack.

"What is this?"

"Oh, that? It's just an old chest that's been in my family for a long time now. Though, I have no idea what's in it."

"You don't?"

"Nope. No one's been able to open it. Not me, my father, my grandfather, and his grandfather before him."

"Why don't you try to open it, young lass?"

An old man said as he came into the room. He was a short old man with a bald head and a big nose with a full white beard covering his face.

"If you do, then you can keep it and whatever is inside of it."

"Don't get her hopes up, grandpa. No one has been able to open that chest."

"I have a feeling that she's special. Go on, give it a try."

Izumi did just that. She fiddled with the lock a bit, not sure what to do. That's when she noticed the indentation of a star. She put her finger in it and it glowed before the lock opened up.

"I knew it."

"Unbelievable. Ever unlocking quirks didn't work on that lock."

The actor and the old man said.

"Well, Izumi, what's in the chest?"

Inko asked. Izumi opened it and was disappointed. In the chest was just a bunch of costumes and a turquoise ribbon with a yellow star badge on the end.

"Oh, it's just some old costumes."

"Well, I'm a man of my word. You can keep that chest and everything in it. I have a feeling they were meant for the young lass."

The old man said with a smile. Inko was about to ask what he meant, but then she remembered.

"Oh, the show is about to start! Thank you, sir! Let's go, Izumi!"

Inko grabbed the chest and left with Izumi to watch the show. It was great and Izumi and Inko had a great time. Afterward, Izumi got an autographed picture of the cast and was happy with her keepsake. Inko was glad that the show lifted her daughter's spirits but was wondering what that old man meant. These were just costumes. When they got home, Inko took out the chest and went through it. The costumes ranged from an elegant swordfighter, a ninja, a mermaid, a detective, and so on. She kept going until she found one that resembled a hero.

"Here, try this on."

Inko put the visor on Izumi, but it was too big and fell off.

"Perhaps you can grow into it."

The mother and daughter laughed until they heard something. It sounded like someone was waking up and it was coming from the chest.

"Oh, that was a good nap."

The voice said. It sounded feminine, but small. Soon a bright light rose from the chest and took the form of a sprite. The head was in the shape of a star and it had a turquoise dress.

"Is it showtime yet?"

The sprite asked as she rubbed her eyes. But when she looked at Inko and Izumi, she was confused.

"Huh? Who are you?"

"I'm Inko and this is my daughter Izumi."

Inko answered, not sure why she just did.

"Oh, it's nice to meet you two. Are you here to watch the show?"

"We just got back from the show."

"Oh, so how did you like it? Which one did you see?"

"The one about All Might."

Izumi answered.

"All Might? Who is that?"

Inko and Izumi were shocked by this revelation.

"You don't know who All Might is?"

"Nope. Never heard of him."

"He's the greatest hero ever! He saved thousands of lives with a smile on his face!"

Izumi excitedly explained.

"Sounds like you're a fan."

"Yeah, I want to be a hero just like him!"

Izumi said. But then her eyes widened and she looked down at the floor in despair.

"Or, I did. Until..."

"What's wrong Izumi?"

"She's quirkless."

Inko answered.

"Quirkless? What does that mean?"

"Huh? You know, that she doesn't have a quirk."

"What's a quirk?"

"HUH!?"

Both Izumi and Inko were shocked again.

"You've been asleep for a long time. Let me explain."

Inko went on to explain what quirks are and when they started appearing. The sprite was shocked by this.

"Wow. That's, um, well that's interesting. There weren't any quirks before I went to sleep. Just how long did I sleep then?"

"I'm not sure. The old man who owned the chest said that he, nor his grandfather could open the chest."

"I guess when quirks came about they lost the magic of Sparkle. A shame, it brought life to our shows."

"Sparkle?"

Inko and Izumi questioned. The sprite just smiled before she grabbed the rest of the hero costume. She then spun around Izumi, and in a flash of light, Izumi was now wearing the hero costume.

"Now you are Mighty Izumi! With strength that would put Heracles to shame."

Izumi flexed causing Inko to laugh a bit. The two were having fun when Izumi tried to lift the couch.

"Be careful Izumi."

Inko said, not wanting Izumi to hurt herself while playing. But to her surprise, Izumi lifted the couch. The same couch that required two full-grown men to bring in.

"Huh!?"

Both Izumi and Inko were shocked by this.

"I did it? I did it!"

"Yes, now, just put it down, carefully please."

Izumi did that and looked at her hands in awe.

"That is the power of Sparkle. With it, we don't just play the parts we are given, we live it! It brought all of our shows to life! Hey, Izumi, why don't I become your quirk? Since you freed me, it's the least I could do."

"Really? You mean it?"

"Yep, this is just another show to help in. The show of Izumi Midoriya, the next number one hero!"

"Thank you! Um, what do I call you?"

"Oh, I forgot to introduce myself, didn't I? I'm Stella, a pleasure to work with you."

"Thank you, Stella."

"Yes, thank you very much, Stella!"

Izumi and Inko said in gratitude. Stella then spun around and absorbed all the costumes. She then flew to Izumi and transformed into a ribbon that tied around her hair, giving her a ponytail.

"Now I'll always be with you Izumi."

The rest of the night was spent with Stella explaining all the abilities Izumi had now.

Meeting Stella gave me back my dream, and started the journey of how I became the number one hero!"

Ten years later

In middle school, we see a class full of kids waiting for the day to start. The teacher soon came in and the class sat down and waited for his instruction.

"Hello class, I will now pass out the career aptitude tests."

The teacher said in a monotone voice. He then smiled and threw the papers in the air.

"But I don't think we'll need those because it's obvious you all want to be."

"HEROES!"

The class shouted as they displayed their various quirks.

"Yes, and I'm sure you'll all make it into the various hero schools around the country. Now settle down, there is still no quirk usage allowed during class."

"Hey, don't lump me in with these extras. You'll all end up as sidekicks or D-rank heroes if you're lucky. But I'm aiming for the top. I'm going to U.A. and becoming the next number one hero."

Katsuki Bakugo, the class delinquent and old friend of Izumi Midoriya, confidently stated.

"What!? He's going to U.A.?"

"Doesn't that school have an entrance exam with a point two percent pass rate?"

"Yeah, and he's going to apply?"

"That's right you extras. I'm going to pass that test with flying colors. You're looking at the next number one hero. I'm going to be better than even All Might."

Bakugo stated.

"Bakugo. Hmm, you did tie for first in the mock exams. Yeah, I can see you getting into U.A.. Oh, Midoriya, didn't you also apply to U.A.?"

Everyone turned to Izumi who just chuckled a bit.

"Yeah, I did."

"Izumi is also going to U.A.?"

"Well, she did tie with Bakugo in the mock exams."

"I still think she should be a movie star instead. With all her transformations she would be famous!"

The students said amongst themselves. Bakugo just stared at her in silence. After class, Izumi was getting ready to go home when Bakugo approached her.

"So you're going to U.A. as well, huh?"

"Yeah, Kacchan."

"Listen Izu, if you have trouble with hero work in the future, I don't mind helping you out and letting you be my sidekick."

Izumi just chuckled at this.

"Thanks for the offer, but I plan to succeed. But I will make the same offer to you if you have trouble."

"Huh? You think I won't make it?"

"Just watching your back Kacchan, like always."

Izumi said with a smile. Bakugo turned away as he was blushing at this.

"Yeah yeah. So me and the guys are heading to the arcade, you want to join us?"

"Sorry Kacchan, but I need to pick up the last pieces for another costume I made."

"Alright then. See you later."

With that Bakugo left and Izumi left soon after. Back with his goons.

"So you're still scared."

One of Bakugo's goons asked.

"Huh? What the hell are you talking about?"

"Izumi. Was that your way of asking her out on a date?"

"Shut up you extras! I don't have time for dates."

"Then you won't mind if I ask her out then? She is quite the looker after all."

Bakugo turned with anger in his eyes.

"What the hell did you just say!?"

The two goons were terrified by his glare.

"Um, it was a joke! I was just joking!"

"Tch! You better have been. Now let's go already!"

The three left for the arcade. Bakugo wouldn't admit it, but he's had a crush on Izumi Midoriya ever since he saw her use her quirk.

Flashback

It was ten years ago and Bakugo had just entered the classroom. As walked up to Izumi as soon as he saw her.

"Hey, Izumi. So? What's your quirk?"

"Oh, hey Kacchan. It's, well, it's kind of complicated."

That's when Stella flew out.

"Hi, I'm Stella, and I'm Izumi's quirk."

Bakugo and the other students watched in curiosity.

"So you got a pet?"

"Pet!? I'm not a pet! I'm her partner. Izumi, show them what you can do now. Grab that water bottle on the teacher's desk."

Izumi nodded and threw out her arm. Ribbon came out, grabbed the water bottle, and brought it back to Izumi.

"So that's one of the things my quirk can do."

"What else can it do?"

Bakugo asked.

"I'll show you at recess."

Later, Izumi walked up to a large rock with the rest of the kids and the teacher watching.

"Ready Stella?"

"Ready Izumi."

Izumi took Stella's hand and the two began to spin around with Stella transforming into a ribbon. Izumi began to glow brighter and brighter causing everyone to shield their eyes. When the light died down, they saw Izumi in some kind of kung fu outfit.

"So it lets you change clothes."

"More than that Kacchan. Just watch."

Izumi then took up a fighting pose and punched the rock two times and ended it with a kick. Everyone was wondering what she was trying to accomplish. Then the rock cracked and fell to pieces.

"What the."

"See! Whatever costume I wear gives me new powers. This one makes me a master fighter."

"That's so cool! So if you wear a costume of All Might will you be as strong as him?"

"I don't know. I haven't tried."

Everyone gathered around Izumi and asked about her other outfits and what powers they gave her. While Bakugo was impressed by her quirk, it wasn't until a few months later that he was smitten with her. It was the winter months and it was snowing in Japan. Mitsuki, Katsuki's mother, was taking her son to meet Inko and Izumi for a winter play date.

"Hey, Inko!"

Mitsuki said as she waved down her old friend.

"Hi, Mitsuki!"

"So where's little Izumi?"

"Trying out one of her costumes. Look."

Mitsuki and Katsuki looked to see Izumi skating on an ice rink in a light blue figure skater outfit. Both of the Bakugos were awed by her grace. Izumi was skating along with two others who wanted to join her. Everyone was commenting on the skill Izumi had. Izumi then separated from the two and began to spin faster and faster. She spun so fast that a small snow cloud formed around her. Everyone was curious as to what she was doing. When she stopped and the ice cloud vanished, everyone saw that she had made two ice sculptures of All Might.

"Look at that!"

"Is it her quirk?"

"How wonderful!"

"That little girl is going places, that's for sure."

Seeing how graceful Izumi was at that moment was how Katsuki Bakugo developed a crush on her, but he wasn't the only one. In the crowd was a boy with white and red hair. This was Shoto Todoroki, the son of the number two hero Endeavor. This was one of the moments his father let him rest from his training and his mother had taken him for a walk to take his mind off his father's harsh training regimens. It didn't seem to work until he saw her. The way she moved, her grace, the sparkle in her eyes. And finally, the way she made the sculptures. Everything she did made him forget about his cruel father. It was as if she was a snow princess who blew away all of his anger with her grace.

"Wow."

Was all he could say as he admired her. He wanted to meet her, but she had left with her mother soon after she was done with her performance. He made a mental note to talk to her if he ever got the chance again. Unfortunately, this would not happen anytime soon as his life at home took a turn for the worse.

Back to the present

Izumi was walking down a tunnel with the pieces for her new costume. This one was inspired by flying heroes, like the winged hero Hawks. Stella had named this one the Angelic Izumi since it gave her large white wings while she wore an angelic robe and armor. The second costume she made was for underwater use. Yes, the mermaid outfit that came with Stella gave Izumi underwater capabilities, but it lacked any combat use. This new one was more of an alteration to the mermaid costume. It was inspired by a character from an old video game about robots and gave Izumi armor and a trident to use at the cost of the mermaid's singing voice.

"These costumes will guarantee your place in U.A. Izumi."

Stella said while she floated next to Izumi.

"They'll definitely help, but it's up to me to make them work."

Stella was about to say something but had a look of shock when she looked behind Izumi.

"Look out!"

She yelled alerting Izumi to something attacking her. Thanks to Stella's warning Izumi was able to roll out of the way of a slime attack.

"Stupid bug! Why did you do that?"

A villain with a sludge quirk asked as he came from the sewer grate.

"Look, little lady, don't fight this. Just let me hide inside of you. It'll only hurt for a minute and then you'll feel nothing. Who knows, if you behave I might make you feel good too."

The villain said with a lecherous smile.

"Yuck! Heck no you creep!"

"Fine, the hard then."

The villain lunged at Izumi intent on catching her.

"Stella!"

"Right!"

Izumi took Stella's hand and began to glow before the villain caught them.

"Hah! What useless quirk was that?"

The sludge villain said. But when he tried to enter Izumi he found that he had a log instead of Izumi.

"Huh?"

While the villain was confused Izumi appeared behind him in a puff of smoke and wearing a ninja outfit.

"Damn brat. Hold still!"

Izumi dodged another set of strikes from the sludge villain, cutting off the pieces sent at her with her large kunai weapons. But it didn't have any effect on the villain as he just absorbed the pieces back into him.

"Just give it up kid. You can't hurt me."

Izumi hated to admit it, but he was right. She needed something to blow him away. She was thinking about how to do that when.

"Fear not citizen, you do not need to fear. And do you know why? Because I AM HERE!"

All Might had arrived at the other end of the tunnel.

"All Might!"

Izumi and the sludge villain said in shock. All Might pulled back his fist for an attack.

"Texas Smash!"

He threw a punch so hard that it sent a wave of wind toward the sludge villain. He was blown away while Izumi was unharmed by the attack. Not only that, but the pieces of the sludge villain went around Izumi without any landing on her.

"Such power and precision. But what else could be expected of the number one hero?"

She said to herself. She blinked and in that moment All Might had gathered up all the pieces of the sludge villain into an empty soda bottle.

"There, now, are you alright young lady?"

"Oh, yes All Might! Just fine."

"Ha ha ha! Good. Great job defending yourself by the way. I saw you in action when I entered the tunnel. Mind telling me what your quirk is?"

"Of course not, it's called 'Showtime'."

"Interesting name. What does it do?"

"Whatever costume me and Stella change into gives me powers based on the costume."

Izumi explained as she transformed back into her school uniform.

"I see. And is this little one Stella?"

All Might asked pointing at Stella who was floating beside Midoriya.

"Yep, good to meet you All Might. Izumi is a big fan. Has all your merch."

"Stella!"

Izumi yelled in embarrassment. All Might just laughed it off.

"It's quite alright young lady. I'm glad to give you hope. Now I must be off to deliver this villain to the authorities."

"Wait! Do you think you could, huh?"

Izumi pulled out a notebook where she had written down various details about all the heroes she'd seen so All Might could sign in, only to see All Might had already signed the book.

"I took the liberty of signing your notebook when I entered the tunnel. I also read a few pages, hope you don't mind. You have great analytic skills and a great quirk. I look forward to seeing you become a great hero. Now I must be off. Farewell!"

All Might took off leaving Izumi star-struck. Back with All Might, he had just landed on the roof of a building when steam began to flow from him. There was a poof of steam and the once buff All Might was now a skinny skeleton coughing up blood.

"Damn it! My time is getting shorter day by day. Soon I won't be able to do hero work anymore. I need to find a successor soon. That young girl from before had a noble heart and a brilliant mind. Plus if One for All combined with her quirk could prove to be an unstoppable force for good. If her quirk changes with each costume then there would be no situation where she would be disadvantaged. I wonder if she would accept it though."

All Might said to himself. He reached into his pocket to check on the villain but found them empty.

"What!? How!?"

All Might desperately searched his pockets and found a large hole in them. He concluded that the sludge villain must have fallen out of this hole.

"No, no, no! This is bad! That villain's quirk makes him a difficult opponent to face and I've used up all the time I have left for the day! I just hope the bottle doesn't open."

Back on the ground, the bottle had indeed fallen into an alleyway but was still sealed. Bakugo and his goons were walking down the alley having finished at the arcade.

"Why are you so scared to tell her?"

"Huh? What the hell are you talking about? I'm not scared of Izumi!"

Bakugo lashed out.

"We never said that. We said you're scared to tell her how you feel."

"No, I'm not!"

"Then just ask her out already."

Bakugo just turned away from the two. He didn't want to admit it, but these extras were right. Why couldn't he just be upfront about his feelings for Izumi? Every time he tried to it would change into something about combat training or trying to learn special moves for hero work. Frustrated by this he kicked a nearby bottle breaking it, not knowing what he had just unleashed. The freed sludge villain closed in on the boys stealthily.

"How lucky."

He said alerting the three boys, but it was too late to do anything. Back with Izumi, she was heading home, happy with the day's events. She got the final piece of her costume and met All Might. Even if she was attacked by a villain it was still a good day overall. She kept walking until an explosion rocked the nearby shopping district. Izumi looked to see many buildings on fire and heroes keeping citizens away from the danger zone. She got close enough to see what was going on.

"Stay back!"

A hero named Death Arms said. Izumi peered over the barricade to see the sludge villain from earlier. She was shocked, how did he escape All Might? In the crowd was All Might in his skinny form watching the destruction as well. He held his stomach where the devasting wound that did this to him was and felt ashamed.

"Damn it! I can't do anything now! Some hero I am!"

He thought to himself in frustration. Izumi watched in horror but was sure the heroes would do something about it. She was about to leave when one of the citizens screamed.

"Holy crap, look! The villain has a hostage!"

Izumi looked back to see Bakugo in the sludge villain's grasp. He was desperately trying to escape using his explosion quirk, but it did not affect the villain. Izumi watched in horror when she saw the look of desperation in his eyes. She wanted to do something, but what? She didn't have the same power as All Might. That's when she noticed the fireman hero Backdraft nearby. She then had an idea.

"Backdraft!"

She called out getting the hero's attention.

"I'm busy right now young lady. Please stay-"

"Use your quirk! The villain has a liquid body so you should be able to hose him off the student so he could escape!"

Backdraft was taken aback by the girl's knowledge of the villain but decided not to question it right now. If she was right, this was the chance needed to save the boy being held hostage. He aimed his arms at the villain and sent two pressurized streams of water at him. Luckily Izumi was right and the villain began to lose his grip on Bakugo.

"Damn heroes!"

The sludge villain cursed. Bakugo was freed and tried to escape, but the sludge villain grabbed his legs.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"Let go of me, you lame-ass villain!"

Bakugo tried to blast away the villain's hold off of him but to no avail. The villain grabbed a nearby dumpster and flung it at the heroes. They all had to take cover and gave the villain more time to get Bakugo. Izumi saw this and rushed forward.

"Wait! Get back here girl!"

Death Arms yelled. All Might saw this and stood in awe as Izumi transformed into her ninja outfit and ran forward.

"You again!"

The sludge villain yelled. He swung a sludge arm at her but she dodged and brought her hands together.

"Ninja art: Freezing Needles!"

Izumi yelled as she formed ice needles and sent them into the trail of water left behind by Backdraft. The water froze as soon as the needles made contact and traveled to where the villain was. The villain saw this and separated the parts of him that touched the water so he didn't freeze.

"Nice try."

He gloated, but this was part of Izumi's plan. She then transformed into her ice skater outfit and skated down the ice towards the villain.

"What the hell is that supposed to do?"

The villain mockingly asked. Izumi didn't answer and just avoided all the attacks sent her way. When she was close enough, she jumped toward Bakugo and reached out to him.

"Grab on Kacchan!"

"Izu!"

Bakugo grabbed her arm and she managed to pull him free.

"I don't think so!"

The sludge villain blocked off their escape and tried to capture them again.

"Spin with me Bakugo."

"Huh?"

Izumi began to spin around with Bakugo. The sludge villain laughed as he thought they were idiots to just spin around like that. He tried to grab them, but they were spinning too fast for him to get a grip on them.

"Grr, stop spinning you damn brats! Just let me... Why... Why is it getting so cold?"

The villain asked as a white cloud began to form around Izumi and Bakugo and was surrounding the villain. Soon he began to freeze as the cold air was surrounding him.

"No! Please... STOOOOOOOOPP!"

The sludge villain screamed as he was frozen. The cloud continued to engulf him until it dispersed and revealed the sludge villain now frozen by Izumi as she struck a pose with Bakugo. All Might was stunned by what he saw and impressed. Both by the girl's power and her actions. She truly showed that she had the heart of a hero. Death Arms and another hero named Kamui Woods approached the two children. All Might knew what they were going to do and what he had to do. He buffed up for what had to be done.

"What the hell was that!?"

Death Arms yelled as he approached the two children.

"That was irresponsibly reckless, young lady! You could have gotten yourself killed."

Kamui Wood continued.

"But I..."

"Should have let us handle it! You had no right to interfere in hero work!"

Death Arms yelled interrupting Izumi.

"Shut it you pathetic excuse for heroes!"

Bakugo barked out shocking everyone there.

"While you had fingers up your ass Izu managed to save me and stop the villain. From where I'm standing she's more of a hero than you two!"

"What!?"

"You little! How dare you!"

"That's enough."

All Might said appearing behind Death Arms and Kamui Woods.

"All Might!"

Everyone said in shock.

"When did you get here?"

Kamui Woods asked.

"At the end when the young lady froze the villain. I heard there was trouble and rushed over to help. But it seems that the problem was already taken care of."

"But still, they broke the law and interfered with hero work. We can't just let them off the hook."

Death Arms said.

"True. The young lady did interfere and used her quirk without a license."

All Might's words caused Izumi to worry.

"But she showed the hallmarks of a hero by risking her life to save this young man at no benefit to herself. And this young man showed admirable courage against the villain. Since there were no serious casualties, I think we can let it slide just this once. Besides, I don't think anyone wants to end the careers of two promising young heroes before they've started."

Death Arms and Kamui Woods wanted to say something but knew not to go against All Might. Besides, he did have a point. There were no casualties and the girl did manage to save the boy with minimum damage. They decided to let the two off with a stern warning while All Might was being interviewed. Some reporters even came up to interview the two about their quirks and their experience with the villain.

Later, Izumi was walking home after all the interviews. She continued until she heard the sounds of footsteps behind her.

"Hey, Izu!"

Bakugo shouted as he caught up to her.

"Yeah, Kacchan."

"I just wanted to say, thanks for earlier."

"No problem Kacchan."

"Still, don't think this changed anything. I'm still going to be the next number one hero. You got that?"

"Yeah, and so am I. So let's both do our best Kacchan!"

Izumi said with a smile. Bakugo blushed at seeing Izumi's smile and turned away so she wouldn't see it.

"Yeah, I was going to. Well, see you later Izu."

Bakugo said as he left. Izumi turned to continue home when.

"I AM HERE!"

All Might said as he slid out of an alley.

"All Might!"

"Yes, it is I, All Might, to talk to you about today's events."

"Oh, I understand All Might. Kamui Woods already gave me a stern lecture about not interfering with hero work. I won't do it again!"

"Ha ha ha! It's not about that young lady. Yes, you did jump in when you didn't need to. But meddling when you don't need to is the essence of being a hero!"

Izumi lit up at these words.

"Young Midoriya, I believe you can be the next number one hero. I want to make you my successor. Do you accept?"

"Huh!? Me!? Your successor!? Oh my gosh, this is so sudden. I can't believe All Might is asking me to be his successor. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that this could happen."

Izumi continued to ramble on as steam began to come off of All Might.

"Young Midoriya, if you could decide right now. Gah!"

All Might couldn't hold his buff form anymore and shrunk down into his skinny state. Midoriya was shocked by this revelation.

"Huh!? All Might? What happened to you?"

"Easy kid. You know those guys at the pool who puff themselves up to look strong? Well, that's me. This is what I really look like."

All Might explained.

"Huh!? But how?"

"It's a long story. Walk with me and I'll explain."

And that's the end of the chapter. I wanted to do a crossover with a gender-bent Midoriya with powers based on the new Princess Peach game. Thank you all so much for reading and feel free to leave a review.
