Evening came quickly, Tak Dong Kyung stood facing the same horizontal white lines painted on harsh black pavement. A green person symbol flashed indicating she is safe to cross the street, but does she really feel safe after today's earlier incident. Trembling, rubs fingers together, hesitates, not making any move to step off the curb, suddenly warmish fingers enclose around her own fingers, as a hand envelopes around her own small one. Surprised, glances up, meets Myeol Mang's mischief dark eyes, smiling, holds up their entwined fingers and says, "Recharge. Why are you not crossing the street?" She sighs heavily, embarrassed looks the other way, says, " I am scared." Glancing down at her, gently speaks, " You can just call for me, by any means. I will come to help you." Surprised at his own words, he knows these words are true. Seeing her frightened brown eyes and feeling her trembling fingers, touches a deep cord inside. He does not want to cause her any undue stress right at the end of a tough day.

Dong Kyung stops in the crosswalk, briefly glances up at Myeol Mang, "I have a question…what happens if after suffering no pain, on my day to die, I make no wish to bring doom.." He studies her face thoughtfully, " You would do that…then the person you love the most in that moment will die. There is always a penalty. We have a contract." He watches as her beautiful eyes narrow, glares, hisses, " You con artist." Turning, she storms away, but stops at his words, "Would your decision been any different if you knew this information. I don't think so." At those cryptic words, time and space change into daytime, a busy street, truck speeding towards a rooted in spot Dong Kyung. Terrified she stares at his serious face, panicked voice rises, " Why me?" Myeol Mang coldly responds, "Fate." Surprised at his response, still panciked, says, "How cruel, why, why?" He sees and feels her hurt, pain, confusion, sorrow because all those same feelings are his own. Looking into her eyes, simply says, "Fate is cruel to anyone." Wishing she would beg for him to stop or agree to the contract, seeing her struggle is causing him pain. Screaming, "Stop! Stop It!" Panting, she trembled, walks towards this uncaring creature. Angrily stares up into his blackened eyes, a resounding slap echoes along the quiet street. Unfazed, Myeol Mang smirks, "I told you that I am not on your side. Are you going to keep standing here? I am leaving…this is all boring." At his cold hearted words turns, leaves her standing, watching his back.
