**Here it is, my first Naruto what if. This is my favorite anime of all time in all honesty and I'm excited to be writing a fanfiction in this category.
But there are some things that I should warn you of:
I absolutely adore the Naruhina ship. No matter what anybody tells me, it will forever be the greatest ship ever. So with that in mind, most of my naruto docs will be naruhina. If not, it will be naruhaku, or narufu. Naruino or narusaku will never happen, along with naru x anyone older than him.
There will be little to no bashing in my stories. Other than some fanon ideas I have in my head that seem like bashing, there won't be any, especially when it comes to team seven.
Naruto will be rather op in most of my fics.
I will almost never do a harem in any of my fics unless I get a really good reason why I should. And if I do, it won't be more than 3 girls.
That is really all I have to say. I'm honestly really excited about this story.
I got this story idea because I just rewatched the first Incredibles a coupleof days ago and realized why I love ice powers so much. Frozone was the first character I had seen use ice as a superpower before. That's probably why I love Aokigi, grey, toshiro, haku, esdeath, todoroki, and characters like that so much. So yeah,
Ch1: Freeze
Zabuza Momoichi was not having a good day.
He was honestly not expecting things to go this badly when he decided to come to the bridge today. Haku had suggested he wait another day or two before attacking so he could truly heal but he had brushed his worries off.
Kakashi had barely even managed to win last time and ended up just as hurt as him. This time, Zabuza wouldn't fall for the cheap tricks Kakashi had pulled.
It seems as though he had misjudged the extent of Kakashi's strength.
It was plain to see now that Kakashi had only taken him seriously following his escape from the water bubble and was nearly out of chakra. Now that he had been trying his hardest off the rip, Zabuza truly understood that he might actually die today.
Unlike him, Kakashi had little in the way of physical injuries and had mostly needed to recover from chakra exhaustion. It was apparent that he was no longer suffering from that problem with how much lighting chakra was coursing through the kunai that was relentlessly trying to cut his neck open.
As he backed up from another swipe that still managed to nick him slightly on the neck, he brought his Kubikiribocho(decapitating carving knife) around to bisect Kakashi from the waist.
The annoyingly agile shinobi managed to jump onto the blade of the sword as it passed by where his torso had previously been. He launched himself off the blade, pushing it towards the concrete ground of the bridge and flipping himself over Zabuza and launching the kunai at the back of his head midair.
Showcasing his instincts as a shinobi, Zabuza managed to duck his head just in time to avoid a kunai to the back of his head.
As Kakashi landed back onto solid ground, he pulled out another kunai and let out a loud sigh of exasperation.
'This is taking far too long. I guess I've become rusty since retiring from anbu. Guy would be disappointed at how much youth I've lost.' Kakashi thought
Shivering at the mental image of a tearful spandex wearing jonin, he charged forward to clash with Zabuza once more.
Tundra
Sasuke was not expecting this fight to be so difficult.
He had the advantage at first, his speed and sharingan making it easy to keep up with the masked shinobi.
Then they had to go and pull out the bullshit mirrors.
Now, while Sasuke could still track their movements, he was having a hard time actually reacting to the masked shinobis senbons.
As he fought the shinobi, Sasuke couldn't help but remember when getting into a situation like this seemed like a faraway thought.
This train of thought then brought up the image of a certain loud, orange wearing blonde.
'Why would I be thinking about him now of all times. No one's even seen him in 4 years so why?' Sasuke thought.
He was promptly shaken from his thoughts as another volley of senbon came sailing at him.
Tundra
A bell sounded through the waters that surrounded the Land of Waves.
Through the dense fog that seemed to be more abundant than even the air, a figure could be seen coming through the fog, riding a…..bike?
The figure was currently riding a dark blue bicycle on the water.
Wait, upon closer inspection, it seemed that the water that the bike touched was freezing over before thawing when the bike was a comfortable distance away.
As the bike came to a halt, the figure looked up at the silhouette of the bridge he was heading for.
"Ah, looks like there's already a battle going on. Perhaps I should pick up the pace. It would look bad if my team ended up dead before I could even meet them."
With this said, the boy started to move again, albeit a bit faster than before.
Tundra
Kakashi was getting tired. He had been fighting Zabuza for 15 minutes and it was just dragging on at this point. Zabuza was on his last legs and was growing weaker by the second.
Kakashi had decided that he need to end the fight now and began forming the hand signs for a summoning jutsu.
However, before he could finish his hand signs, the sound of a bell penetrated the mist like a human through butter.
Kakashi couldn't help but turn around, wondering where the sound came from.
Coming through the mist, a figure could be seen riding on what looked vaguely like a bicycle.
Zabuza was just as shocked as Kakashi. He had been having a climactic battle to the death with the second toughest opponent he had ever had the pleasure to face. Then what looked like a man casually riding a bicycle towards them interrupted the fight.
In a flash Haku and Sasuke flashed next to their respective superiors, watching the mist as well.
As the figure grew closer and the mist slowly dispersed due to Zabuza's lack of chakra, their features could be made out.
It was a rather young man, around 12 or 13 perhaps. He had bright blonde hair that peeked out from underneath a grey beanie with the leaf insignia on it. He also had icy blue eyes highlighted by the 3 whisker marks adorned on each of his cheeks. He wore white t-shirt with a green trench coat over it. He had on black baggy pants along with black shin high boots.
Kakashi's eyes widened as he recognized the person in the bike. After all, he didn't know anyone else who had whisker marks.
The figure came to a stop a few feet away from Kakashi and leaned the bike against its kickstand. He dismounted the bike and took a few steps toward Kakashi before reaching into his trench coat.
Sasuke, Zabuza, and Haku tensed slightly at this action while Kakashi could only stare dumbly.
The boy brought his arm back out and in it was a scroll.
He unrolled the scroll, seemingly unbothered by the tense forms of the shinobi in front of me.
"Ah, sorry to bother you, but do any of you know where I can find one Kakashi Hatake? The Hokage instructed me to report to him as he is supposed to be my sensei while I'm a genin."
Sasuke's eyes widened. Kakashi had informed them that his last teammate would be joining them sometime soon. So this was him huh?
Kakashi broke out of his stupor and nodded.
"I understand. It is good to see you again, Naruto."
The now named Naruto Uzumaki returned Kakashi's pleasantry and placed the scroll back in his coat.
Before he could do anything else, Zabuza charged past Kakashi and Sasuke, swinging his cleaver at Naruto's neck.
Kakashi tried to stop him, but he was too late, Zabuza was already inches away from separating Naruto's head from his shoulders while he was distracted.
Suddenly, the temperature on the bridge dropped to freezing. The remnants of the chakra generated mist froze solid as did the wet ground of the bridge.
In an instant, ice raced from Naruto's toward The quickly approaching Zabuza
Kakashi and Sasuke stared in awe while Haku could only look on in shock and horror.
Zabuza was encased in a thick layer of ice, his blade frozen barely 2 inches from Naruto's neck.
Naruto breathed out an exasperated eighth, cold steam exiting his mouth and quipped.
"You know, no matter how strong you are, interrupting someone in the middle of a conversation is incredibly rude."
**An: that's the first chappy. I like it a lot so I hope you all do as well. Yes, Naruto has ice powers. No he did not eat the hie hie no mi nor is he a Yuki.
I noticed that all the other tailed beasts have unique elements or abilities, but Kurama doesn't. So I took matters into my own hands and made Kurama's element ice. In this he will be a nine tailed arctic fox with ice blue eyes since a bright orange fox with red eyes wielding the ice element would look odd.
I also made some of the characters stronger than in canon. You might have noticed Kakashi and Sasuke's general increase in power and Sasuke's familiarity with his sharingan. I am saying this just so no one thinks I'm over scaling the characters, although I think Kakashi was around this strong in canon.
Also expect all jinchuriki to be extremely op. Like so op that at the moment, every single jinchuriki is A-rank or higher.
I wanted to make this cap. Longer but it's nearly 12 am and while not extremely late, I'm rather tired. Expect Do you want to turn the world upside down? to come out next then Bow your head after that. My other fics are currently on hold while I work on these 3. I am not abandoning my other fics, just putting them in the backseat for now.
