Dong Kyung washes dishes, mumbles, "Why did I not know my brother was feeling lonely. You are not much better, reading his thoughts, just because you can hear it. You have no manners…" Turning, mouth drops in shock, finds herself staring into Myeol Mang's living room in place of her own tiny living area. Walking to the edge of the room, stares as he takes out a cigarette and lights it. Yelling, "Hey, what are you doing?" Looking up, he takes the cigarette out of his mouth, "What can't I smoke in my own house? Things like this are going to happen. Besides I don't like living in your home." Mumbling to herself, that he shouldn't ask to live together, he calls out, "You asked me to live together." Standing in front of the sink, she starts scrubbing a dish as she hears him ask, "He's the one you love the most, right?" Dong Kyung says, " It's not him, don't do anything to him, do you hear me?" Myeol Mang merely smirks, saying, "It's not my job, that's your job to make a wish that might bring him harm." Feeling angered, she storms into her bedroom, brings out a blanket and pillow, spreads them out on the couch.

Myeol Mang raises an eyebrow, questions, "What are you doing spreading the blankets out over there?" Walking over to the light switch, she flicks off the lamp, fluffs the blanket, informs him, " I am afraid you will do something to my house while I am asleep." He shrugs, "Do you want me to do something to your house?" She sighs, crawls under the blankets, " I am a light sleeper." He turns, facing her direction, smirks, calmly retorts, "Is this anytime to brag? I can kill a human." Dong Kyung heavily sighs, "Shut up, time to sleep." She rolls over on her side, facing away from his view. He reminds her that he does not sleep, and he still is reading his book. She begs him to pretend and go along with the atmosphere as she is human, needing her sleep.

Quietly, she says, "Do you think that the world must come to an end?" Sitting on the couch, glancing at his book, quietly says, "I don't think so." Dong Kyung still tucked under the covers, her back towards him, asks, " Then why are you doing all of this?" He continues to read, thoughtful, says, "It's not like the world needs to keep existing." She ponders his words, says, "Beings like you seem to pity humans. Especially ones like me." Still merely gazing at the book, he comments, "Sounds like you know someone who is similar to that already. Humans are all the same, they have a time limit, they are all trivial, all the same. There is no reason to pity any particular one over the other." Dong Kyung eyes were closed, her voice replies sleepily, "You pity with your heart, it is not a job." Looking down, book in hand, says, "I am not human, I don't have a heart." Her voice, heavy with sleep, responds, "Lies, you said that you were thinking the same thing at the same time as me."

Myeol Mang stares at the book, eyes lift, turns his head, looks over at her sleeping form, surprise written on his face. Absent mindedly turns a page of the book, she stirs in her sleep, he snaps the book shut, turns off the rest of the lights, leaving the room darkened. He places the book and pack of cigarettes on a end table, lies down, curls over, watches over her sleeping form.
