Notes!
Oh boy, i am back to cook up another chapter! This one may, MAY be a tad bit longer than the first 2.
This chapter will be about Naoto, Skateboarding. And while he is skating, the 4 girls notice him, which leads to a chase down and confrontation. (Yes i remember saying he'd interact with people other than Nagatoro, but this was too good of an opportunity to pass up. Plus, i did say she still would bother him at times.) It may start off slow-paced or lowly thought out, i kinda wanna rush this out and improv it since im making this about a day after the Yoshi one. (I have too much free time as a teen lmao)
ANOTHER NOTE: Not trying to use Definitions or references a bunch this chapter so expect a low amount For the chapter, maybe even none. (Maximum could be 5 each, seeing as i had TOO MUCH of both at the end of Chapter 2.)
Last Note: I am kinda slumped on Future chapter ideas, and i am gonna start focusing on school more since its the final couple months before summer break for me, so expect a tiny delay from the 1-3 day release the first chapters had (this one included.) I will also be planning to do a couple other Nagatoro fanfics other than this (Possibly introducing some bullies, Naoto's friends, etc) so expect other side stories to appear. Expect a full on slow but sure delay, seeing as this alone may take a couple days.
With that being said, Enjoy this Very (VERY) stupid Chapter!
Hayama* Park is the signature hangout for most Children in Hayama, let alone it be 5 Year olds to 17 Year olds, Maybe even some 18 Year olds, Hayama Park is for everyone.
What could Hayama Park have that makes it stand out? A Grassy, and Fence-covered area around it, Which gives it the vibe and atmosphere of the park. A Little kid section, Swings, Slides, and more for Little kids- Preteens. Teens and up have Exercise Areas, Bigger swings and slides, Picnic tables all around, and a Big portion of their side; The Skatepark, mainly used for Scooters, Skateboards and Rollerskates.
On this very day though, Hayama park was not that packed as it usually would be. What could be described as a dull atmosphere, Only 5 Little kids were at the Little Kid Section, Whereas the main attraction, the Teen attraction, was VERY low! There were only 5 People in the skate area, 3 near the swings, and none at the slides. The lowest in a long time. Though, the Picnic had 4 girls, whom examined the dull, unusual atmosphere that the Park had.
"This place is usually more lively. Looks like there's not a lot here." That was the voice of Sakura Inori, who was with Hayase Nagatoro, Maki Gamou and Yoshi.
"You can say that again!" Gamou replied.
"Say that again!" Yoshi chimed in
"This place is dull, like.. very dull." said Nagatoro. "Isn't it always lively?"
"Well, yes, but it's never quiet here." Sakura replied. "Its always loud here! The teen section is always the most crowded!"
"It's the weekend, its not that chippy outside, So why isn't much people here?" Gamou questioned.
"Well.." Sakura started to give out a long, explanation on why the park could be so empty, an explanation so boring that Nagatoro spaced out and looked around the park, before turning her eyes to the Skatepark.
A certain someone caught her attention, a kid, more so probably over her age, was skating with a skateboard, and pretty damn well too. She looked amazed at the boy and further spaced out.
"Hayase? Hayase!" Gamou and Yoshi snapped her out of her little trance.
"Y-YESH?!" Nagatoro said Almost immediately, startled by having her name called that loud.
"You were spacing out there, girl!" Sakura added on. "You good?"
N: "Y-Yeah! Just spacing out and looking around.."
G: "Oh really?"
Y: "Really?"
S: "What were you looking at?"
"The skatepark section." Nagatoro pointed to the skatepark section, seeing a few kids, but the same Boy from earlier stood out to them.
"Huh.. that guy looks familiar." Sakura said.
"Very familiar." added Gamou.
"Familiar!" Yoshi chimed in.
"He kind of reminds me of.. Senpai-kun!" Sakura said.
"Whaaaaat? Paisen? Skating? As if!" Gamou said.
"As if!"
"You really think That's Senpai?" Nagatoro asked.
"Looks just like him! Fluffy hair, Brown eyes, same skin tone too!" Sakura replied.
"Huh.." Gamou looked further into it. "She's not lying."
The boy, whom had been focused on skateboarding the whole time, finally directed his attention to the girls. Unknown yet to them, It was indeed their senpai, Naoto Hachiouji. He immediately got his embarrassed reaction and looked on at the girls, trying to see if he was seeing things.
It was at that moment, Nagatoro immediately recognized the boy.
"That's senpai!" She shouted, and when he heard her voice, he immediately got on his skateboard and took a bolt for the exit, speeding out as fast as he can.
"Chase that Senpai!" Nagatoro responded before getting up and running like the speed of lightning. Following her was the 3 girls, who were also fast.
Naoto however, would never beat them by foot. He could however, outrun them by skating, he at least knew how to manage his balance on the skateboard, seeing he used to skate as a kid and recently got back into it, so he knew he had them beat, for once. And god as his witness, he was going FAST! Faster than all 4 girls! Surprising, considering he's seen them run fast before.
"Paisen is too fast on that board!" Gamou said.
"Too fast!" said a Slowly exhausting Yoshi, whom had been running the fastest.
"Senpai-kun finally found a way to beat us!" Sakura added.
"I WILL GET YOU, SENPAI!" Nagatoro was the only one, not worried about the speed, but determined to get Naoto, no matter what it took.
Naoto, who could hear them, shouted back. "YOU WILL NOT BE TEASING ME TODAY!"
The girls put their pedal to the metal and sped up, no matter how much it would exhaust them, they were chasing Naoto down like a pack of wolves. Naoto though, sped himself up, and continued cruising.
The townsfolk started watching this whole debauchery unfold before their very eyes. Naoto was zig-zagging past cars to lose the girls, and yet they still chased him to a close enough range to keep an eye on him.
Cars swerving because of them, townspeople having to move fast to avoid them, and even some animals whom were watching this started to give chase. It was like a live act in front of Hundreds!
The girls however, did not care. They kept their focus on Naoto, who noticed everything, yet kept going just to lose the girls. He knew it wouldn't be Another while until they had a close call that slows them down, or they get exhausted. And he got his wish.
A car nearly swerved and hit Sakura, but in what could be described as a very, VERY close call, Nagatoro and the others push her out the way. The car ends up hitting a tree, while the girls slow down and end up losing sight of Naoto.
Naoto found in his best intrest to skate back to his house. He knew that only Nagatoro knows where he lives, so if it came down to giving chase, His only problem would be Nagatoro.
Although, unknown to him AND the girls, one of the Vehicles that swerved and nearly hit them was none other than Sana and Hana Sunomiya. The both of them had seen it all unfold after swerving off to the grassy field, and decided to give chase to them.
Naoto was well ahead of the girls, who were now looking for him, all the while Sana and Hana were looking for all 5. It felt like a maze, Kind of like a game of Pac-Man, atleast that's what Naoto thought. He wasn't wrong, because the girls were hunting him down. From a mile away, he would hear Maki and Yoshi. From another angle, he could hear Sakura, and from the last angle he could hear Nagatoro.
The girls finally met back up and sighed.
"He disappeared on us!" Maki said.
"Houdini!" chimed in Yoshi.
"Senpai-kun beat us at our own game for once! And i don't think he stopped either, he really lost us!" Sakura said.
"Since when did Senpai skate anyway?!" Nagatoro exclaimed.
The 4 girls then heard a familiar voice, a voice that can be described as..
"Demoness!" It was the Sunomiya girls! "Why were you 4 chasing down Hachiouji-kun?!" Sana shouted out.
"We wanted to tease him!" said Nagatoro.
"Tease the Sense!" Yoshi said.
"Paisen ditched us out after we found him on a skateboard!" Maki exclaimed.
"Senpai-kun took off like a bullet!" Sakura chimed in.
"He can be like that with boards." Hana said.
"What do you mean by that?!" Nagatoro said, she was now more curious and furious about this "skateboarding" hobby Naoto took up.
"You didn't know? Hachiouji-kun used to skate in his Middle school years, especially on days he couldn't be driven to school." Sana explained. "I recently told him he should skate again, seems like he took up my offer because i haven't seen him takeoff like that in.. forever!"
"Paisen skates?! Why have i been learning this information now and not in the past when i met him!" Maki exclaimed.
"Just wait until you see his other hobbies and childhood places!" Sana and Hana both said.
"Drumming for example.." Maki murmured.
"What was that?" Sana asked.
"Nothing."
Silence for a bit, until..5
"Family Dollar?" Yoshi suddenly chimed in, with a calmer tone.
This caused the Sunomiya girls to look shocked, Not just them, but the other girls were a bit stunned.
"Come again?" said Sakura.
Yoshi pulled out the map* to the town and pointed to the Family Dollar. "Sense's Grocery shopping spree!" Yoshi then said.
"Huh?!" Maki and Nagatoro were in blatant confusion. On multiple occasions, it would be them explaining things to Yoshi. This time around, the tables turned.
"S-Sense went to.. to.. the Family.. Dollar.. The other... day.." A quiet and meek tone escaped Yoshi as she said this. "I saw him!" Her voice perked up a bit, loud for the girls to hear.
"So he still goes there?" Hana questioned. "Figures. That's where he got his first keyboard, and found out about Off-Brand things that actually are good, like Candy and soda."
Sakura, Nagatoro and Maki were all in blatant shock, now knowing new information about Naoto. Unknown to Nagatoro, Sakura, Yoshi and the Sunomiya's, Maki was about to spill some more salt onto the wound.
"First he knows drumming, then he shops at the retail, NOW he skateboards?!" Maki shouted out. "I found out 3 cool things about Paisen in 4 days?! What gives?!"
"Excuse me?!" Nagatoro chirped. "Drumming?!"
"Agh, damn it! He said to keep it a secret." Maki suddenly got embarrassed.
"No no, Continue! This is getting good!" Sakura said.
"Senpai can drum?!" Nagatoro was now turning confusion into anger. "WHY HAVEN'T I FOUND OUT?!"
"As much as you 4 are finding out newfound information about Hachiouji-kun, i think we should be looking for him still, Correct?" Sana said.
The 4 girls stopped their small chipshots and comments and nodded in agreement. They were still hunting Naoto, and they'd atleast get answers from him once they found him. That is, if they did find him.
Meanwhile, Naoto had made it to his house and hid out, keeping it locked and making sure no Girls were in sight. Complete determination rose from his usual, dull and Introvered attitude. He was gonna make sure no girl caught him today. He didn't know the Sunomiyas were also after him now, but at the very least, if there was no Nagatoro and the others, he'd be fine. Now what would he do if they didn't see him today but saw him at school tomorrow? He didn't think that far ahead yet, so he thought now was the perfect tim to think about how he could get away with this, to make sure they didn't know one of his already many old hobbies that's been revealed already.
Unknown to Naoto, the 4 girls, Sana and Hana were going block to block until they reached his Neighborhood. Naoto has lived in the same house since he knew the Sunomiyas, plus Nagatoro had known where he lived. So if anyone was going to find him first, it would be them.
"Isn't on this block." Maki said.
"Not this one either!" Sakura pouted.
"No Sense Here!" Yoshi chirped.
"WHERE IS SENPAIIIII?!" Nagatoro was on the verge of insanity, she needed answers.
"Maybe he's on his block?" Hana suggested.
"Probably, Hachiouji-kun would think it's smart enough to hide at his house, considering half of us knows where he lives." Sana explained. "If it came down to his house being the spot he's at, someone has to sneak in and find him."
The girls and Hana looked at each other, Not wanting to possibly get caught sneaking in and getting in trouble, let it be from His parents or his neighbors.
"Uhm.." Hana started. "I suggest the Cat Demoness."
"ME?!" Nagatoro chirped. "No! I would never embarrass myself to get senpai!"
Everybody looked at her, like she was bluffing. And she was, she definitely was. If they could count how many times they've seen or head Nagatoro embarrass herself and/or Naoto, It would be more than you could imagine.
"... That's a lie." Maki said.
"Liar Liar!" Yoshi said.
"You would definitely sneak into Senpai-kun's house just to get him back for escaping your claws!" Sakura stated.
Nagatoro, now embarrassed and blushing, hid her face. She couldn't deny it, but couldn't admit it either. She'd want to get Senpai. So everybody agreed that Nagatoro would be the one to sneak in.
Naoto Hachiouji meanwhile, he was holding a wooden plank, ready to swing incase anybody snuck up on him. (in his own home, somebody explain logic to this dude) He had paranoia, determination, and other instincts that do not connect together, and it was about to show.
The girls made it to Senpai's gate and were able to get in the yard, prompting Them to sneak up to the side of the house.
"So how do we get Hayase up there?" Maki questioned.
"There's a ladder near that shed/garage!" Hana pointed to the shed.
"Senpai-kun has a garage!? I may have to sneak in and scare him, Fufufu~" Sakura jokingly said.
Nagatoro gave her a dead stare, one that could kill. That prompted Sakura to stay quiet.
Yoshi and Maki positioned the ladder to a window that was half open, that window just so happened to be the window of Naoto's room. (Oh gosh.) Nagatoro knew almost instantly, so her dead stares turned into teasing smirks.
"Ladder set up!" Yoshi chirped.
"Operation: Find Paisen is a go!" Maki shouted.
"I WILL GET YOU SENPAIIIIII!~" Nagatoro shouted as she slowly but surely climbed the ladder and made her way into the room.
Naoto however, was still holding the plank and looking around the living room, unknown that the girls have now gone to extreme lengths to find him and are not far from finding him.
Nagatoro looked around his room for a bit, trying not to make as much noise, before sneaking down to the living room and seeing him. A teasing grin escaped her lips and she was ready to jump up onto senpai.
Naoto however, STILL had no idea that Nagatoro was seconds away from getting him! It's like his hearing sucked, because he could clearly not hear the small sounds of Nagatoro sneaking into his room and then sneaking out the room.
Nagatoro waited until he was in Reaching distance, once he was, she got ready to attack.
From what could be described as a slow but quick move, Nagatoro jumped right onto Naoto's back, causing him to shriek and try getting her off frantically.
"HOW DID YOU GET IN?!" Naoto kept repeating as he tried his hardest to get her grip loosened, but to no avail.
"Aha! I got you now, Senpai!" Nagatoro teasingly said.
In another swift but slow move, Yoshi and Maki made their way up the ladder and was able to see the scene unfold, causing them to laugh and have Naoto notice them too.
"HOW DID YOU GUYS GET IN?!" Naoto shouted.
"The window, silly!" Maki said.
Sakura and the Sunomiyas were now next to Maki and Yoshi, as they climbed in last.
"We finally got ya Paisen!" Maki teasingly said.
"Sense caught!" said Yoshi.
"Hello, Hachiouji-kun." Sana stoically said.
Hana waved, and so did Sakura.
"Can somebody explain why this escalated from chasing me to attacking me?!" Naoto questioned.
"You decided to ditch us!" Nagatoro pouted. "Why did you ditch your Kouhai?"
"Maybe because i didn't want you to know about.. my other hobbies." Naoto said.
"Going to retail stores like Family Dollar is cool to me!" Sakura chirped.
"Drumming is definitely a you thing." Maki chimed in.
"Ye!" Yoshi added.
"You really could've told them, it's not bad." Sana said.
"It'd probably get more annoying though." Naoto said.
"Fair enough."
"Hey, while were here, can we get something to drink? or Eat? A girl's starving here!" Maki suddenly said.
"Food!" Yoshi chimed in.
"I could go for whatever." Sakura said.
"C'mon senpai! Cook for us! You make amazing bento, imagine what else you can make!~" Nagatoro suggested.
"Hungry, huh? Anyone up for some pizza?"
"Pizza!" Yoshi chirped.
"Hell yeah!" Maki said.
"What kind?" Sakura said.
".. Pepperoni?"
"Yeah!" Sakura happily said.
"PEPPERONI!" Yoshi happily shouted.
"I can eat that." Sana said.
"I'll take some." Hana said.
"Paisen has good taste in pizza too?!" Maki said.
"Pepperoni sounds good, senpai!" Nagatoro said.
And thus, Naoto made some pizza for everyone, forgetting the chase down and attack. Everyone had a good time, teasing Naoto about his past activities and all.
'Maybe.. it wouldn't be bad to talk about my past hobbies..' Naoto thought, as he and the girls enjoyed a fresh, hot Pepperoni Pizza.
