Bright and early the next morning, Dong Kyung sat on the floor, comfortably leaning her back against the coach, as she held an oversized blue box of Oreo O's cereal. She munched on dry cereal while watching a television program, oblivious to the man sitting in the other room. Myeol Mang sat in his own grey and black colored themed living room, holding a folded newspaper, blankly staring at it for the last twenty minutes, his thoughts focused on last nights memories and the oddness he felt with this newest knowledge.
Finally, unable to contain his curiosity, says, "Aren't you going to work?" She picks up the remote, turns up the volume, sets it down on the table, digs out more cereal, replies, "It's the weekend." Sitting from his spot, still absently staring at the paper, says, "Okay, yesterday, that dream…" Dong Kyung watches the television, never looking over in his direction, interrupts his thoughts, says, "For now, I am going to forgive you." At these words, he drops down the reading material, turns towards her direction, demands, "What?" Still, gazing at the television, she says, "I forgive you, I said." Feeling annoyed, he demands, "Who are you to forgive!" She continues to watch the screen, a small smile plays along her lips as she says, "The person who is trying to love you." He stares intently at her profile, frowns, feels annoyance by this interaction as she never once looked him in the face. He attempted to apologize for his rude behavior but she assumed that he was in the wrong and deserved her forgiveness. Feeling annoyance, he knew of only one person that could help him sort out these thoughts and emotions. Jumping up from the couch, he leaves in a hurry, without saying goodbye.
