Myeol Mang met with little God in a small park near the hospital. He repeats the words Dong Kyung told him at the end of their conversation, still puzzles over the meaning, "Love basically starts from forgiveness anyway. What a laugh, as a mere human, forgive?" He disdainfully thinks of her comment and dismisses that possibility of humans having the capability nor understanding to comprehend forgiveness.

Sitting alongside one another, they sit comfortably, little God responds to his comment, "That's what I say. Besides, love basically starts from hate. But then again, you need to hate in order to forgive." Myeol Mang sits primly with his legs crossed, hands posed over his knees, portrayed in his typical closed off manner, leaning towards little God, says, "I don't forgive you. Today is kind of like a truce." She stares forward, continues licking her ice cream cone, says, "I know you have no one to talk to. Because it is the same for me." He softly sighs, quietly says, "She bothers me, more and more." As the pair sit, they watch as colors are added to a brightly painted mural of trees and children, little God comments, "It's pretty painted." She smiles daintily at the pretty scene captured before their eyes, while Myeol Mang broods over his thoughts regarding Dong Kyung.
