She still felt the warmth of his hand where he gripped her own, his broad back disappeared, she yelled, "Hey." Only to find, her yelling was on deaf ears, back in her living room, the deserted forest gone, coldness replaced by the warmth of indoors. The cold man gone, who knows where he disappeared. Frankly she did not care, blinking back tears, stares blankly around her tiny apartment. Feels at a loss as to why he suddenly turned so hateful, even more than previously before they agreed on the contract.

Sitting on the floor, she begins folding her laundry, only to become frustrated, throws the clothes. Swipes the already folded clothes off the coffee table, frustrated, no tears, hangs her head. She sighs, hurt, a desire to cry, yet no tears come, heart feels heavy after all his hateful words. Picking up the laundry, reflects, "I caused it, and it's something I have to clean up after. No one will take responsibility for me. Not cause it, not try it. Stay still. Just stay still. My life was a continuation of staying still. I shouldn't have tried. Not sympathy, nor love." Slowly, she folds all her laundry, determined to move on, not be influenced by Myeol Mang's negativity.

Awhile later, sitting in her same spot, she reviews her journal entry. She had written notes regarding the person she loves the most with an arrow pointing to "Doom" as the person that she planned on loving the most. But it seems that plan did not work out. As her cell phone rings, she glances at the name, frowns upon seeing Tak Seon Kyung. Answering, she says, "Hey, you.." She is surprised when on the phone she hears another voice, not that of her younger brother. A woman's voice asks, "You are Tak Seon Kyung's guardian right? This is Seoul Seowoo Hospital." Immediately, she throws on a coat, runs out the door, hails a taxi. It seems her brother was in an accident. Now, her guilt is immense due to their fight, feeling awful, she urges the driver to hurry. Heart pounding, memories flood in of when her parents died, being alone, receiving that dreadful phone call, this is how she felt now.
