Finding his calm place, Myeol Mang perched on the rooftop of the hospital, a cigarette dangling from his lips, legs comfortably crossed, hands folded over knees. Dong Kyung's doctor walked out from the exit, desiring fresh air, sipping a cup of coffee, drops the cup, frankly yells, running towards the man on the ledge. The neurologist yells, "Excuse me! W-what are you doing right now?" He stare at the white coated stranger, as he turns around, a cigarette dangling from his lips, a smile plays across thick lips. Myeol Mang removes the cigarette, says, "What I'm doing right now? I'm looking at trees. Do you see that tree over there? All of it's leaves fell." Facing forward, points off in the direction of some trees. Concerned the neurologist says, "L-l-let's not be like this; have a conversation. We're both doctors so we can understand one another well. Which department do you belong in? Did you lose a patient you were in charge of? Is that why you're like this? I also went through that. I know how you feel!" Myeol Mang intently stares at the landscape below, asks "You know?" The poor frazzled neurologist cries out, "Yes! The pain that comes with losing a patient! I know that well! So, please come down first, and talk with me…" Myeol Mang responds, "The things that died and disappeared because of me. I just keep watching over them like this. Do you do that too?" Excitedly, the neurologist declares, "Yes, I do that too. I still do that. I know it's hard! You really want to save them. I feel the same!" Myeol Mang turns, glances over at the man, says, "What's the same? I want to end it all." Misunderstanding his cryptic words, the neurologist begs, "No, no, no, no. Please come down. Please come down!" Myeol Mang questions, "Is that so? I will go down then." Heaving a deep sigh, drops off the building, panicked, the other doctor rushes to the ledge, looks over, shocked, not seeing any body. Puzzlement sets in as he looks back and forth below on the ground, glancing sees a broken cigarette, the only remnants of the ghost man. Far below, a woman hurriedly runs, trench coat flaps open, long auburn hair streams in the breeze, although several stories above, the neurologist recognizes his patient. Walking indoors, rides the elevator down, in hopes of convincing Tak Dong Kyung to proceed with the surgery to prolong her life.
