Chapter 10: Tom Thomas [Fireman Sam]
The next subject to arrive for the injection was Tom Thomas, from 'Fireman Sam'.
"I trust you're here for the injection." said the scientist.
"You got that right, mate." said Tom Thomas
"Excellent." the scientist said. "Now," he added, "go get changed, ready for the injection."
Without a word, Tom went off into the changing booth, and came out, in his black wetsuit from the 2016 Fireman Sam summer safety videos and also, the Series 10 episode 'Float Your Boat'.
"Ready." he said.
The scientist held out the syringe, filled with the vibrant blue liquid, and pressed the needle into Tom's left arm. Tom winced, but soon settled.
The scientist pressed the plunger, dispensing the blue liquid into Tom's body, then, he removed the needle, and wiped the spot with a wet dishcloth.
No sooner had he removed the dishcloth, Tom Thomas saw the scales forming on his body, and his skin pigmentation turning a vibrant lime green. - the same colour as his coveralls. His hair remained the same colour, but became scaly.
His feet gained dark green webbing in between his toes, which lost their toenails.
"Crikey!" Tom Thomas said to himself.
Just as quickly, his hands became webbed like his feet had before him; with the same dark green webbing in between the fingers, which lost their nails.
The scleras of his eyes turned pale yellow, and a lime green scaly tail with a dark green heart-like fin on the end popped out from his behind, above his butt, ripping through his wetsuit.
and when his ears became webbed, the change was complete.
Tom stared at his reflection in a nearby mirror, and his jaw hung. he'd been turned into a Luca-style sea monster.
"Flaming wallabees!" he said, his heart skipping a few beats. "I'm a sea monster now!"
"You certainly are." the scientist said, taking some measurements of Tom's new form. "Another successful test." he said.
Tom Thomas felt very amazed. 'Imagine how fast i can swim now!' he thought.
