Awake, stretching, Dong Kyung found Myeol Mang sitting in a chair in her living room, intently staring. He demands, "What did you mean by just? You said you just saved me. So, what does that just mean?" She rises, not fully awake, walks to the fridge, pours some cold water, says, "Just is just. What meaning would it have?" Standing by her, demands, "It's because if I disappear, you would die, right?" Sighing, she says, "Maybe.?" Satisfied, he says, "As expected." Drinking some water, pauses, asks "What do you think?" He responds truthfully, "How would I know? Because of our contract, I can't hear your thoughts." Looking up, tells him, "Then why don't you try." Puzzled, he asks, "Try?" Nodding, says, "Yes. Observe and think. 'Why would she do that?'" Further puzzles over her odd request, says, "Why do I have to do that?" She looks into his dark eyes, says, "I do it often. 'Why the heck is he like that? That's why! It's an ability a human must have. Oh, maybe you can't do it since you're not human." Myeol Mang's tone turns serious, asks, "How do you do that?" She nods, smiles, finally pleased that he shows an interest in learning something from a human perspective.
