Dong Kyung took Myeol Mang on a shopping trip, in order to hone his skills of reading and better understanding humans unspoken words. First, they observe a woman standing near the alcohol section, deciding on some beverage, Dong Kyung says, "Oh her, why do you think she's doing that?" He says in a matter of fact tone, "She must be dying to drink. Because she had to get a lipoma removed from her arm, she couldn't drink for two weeks." Dong Kyung pushed the shopping cart, while he walked along side, glancing sideways as she responded, "Oh, then she shouldn't do that. She might get an infection, so she shouldn't drink before she gets better…No! Hey, don't say what you hear. You observe and think about it. What?" He stops, intently staring at Dong Kyung, points a finger at her, says, "I observed and thought. Answer. You're annoyed because of me." She walks away, pushes the cart, sighs, hearing his voice, "Oh, answer, you're mad, because of me." Stopping the cart, annoyed, turns to face him directly, patronizingly says, "Good job. Yes, good job." Walking away, he yells, "Hey, Tak Dong Kyung. What do you mean by that? It's not anything good. You don't really mean good job." Following behind, as a small child, pouts, at not receiving her full attention.
Walking quickly away, his long strides catch up, as she turns around, says, "By the way, what is your name?" He stares down into her face, asks, "Why are you asking?" Meeting his dark eyes, tells him, "So I can call you by your full name when I am angry at you." Mumbling to himself, says, "I don't have a name. Only humans need such a thing." She nods to herself, says, "Then let it be Sa Ram…Sa Ram." Annoyed, he says, "How many times do I have to tell you that I am not human?" Gazing up, meeting his dark eyes, says, "I mean your name. Let's call you Sa Ram, human. What should your last name be? Let's make it Kim. Kim's the most common name. Kim Sa Ram. That's nice, Kim Sa Ram." Shocked, mildly perturbed, he says, "What the heck?"
Quickly turning around, barely missing being hit by a shopping cart, Dong Kyung cries out, "Hey, Kim Sa Ram!" Reaching out, she forcefully yanks on the sleeve of his black trench coat, pulls him back in her direction. Spinning slightly, bumps into her, causing her to lose balance. Quick reflexes, encircles an arm around her lower back, holds her up, his other hand grips her shoulder as she tightly grips his coat. Momentarily all around fades, only them, as awareness dawns, deeply gazing into the other's eyes, each feeling a longing, desire to be close.
Breaking the mood, Dong Kyung says, "You almost got hit. You should look around and let me go." He gazes into her eyes, says, "I really don't get it. Okay." Gently helps her up, reluctantly releases his hold on her shoulders. Puzzled by his words, she asks, "What?" He says, "You told me to observe and to think." Uncertain what exactly he means by those cryptic words, she is frightened to find out what he has in store for her regarding his education on human behavior.
