It seems Myeol Mang indeed meant his words that he would observe and think what Dong Kyung was needing. On the next day, he devoted entirely to following her around, observing her every action, much to her dismay. Upon her arrival at work, her coworkers, all bought into the fact that he was indeed Jeong Min, one of their fellow cohorts. Putting him to work, stapling printed copies together, seems an easy task, that hopefully will not cause trouble.

After her meeting with the chief editor, Joo Ik questioned if they were dating as Myeol Mang kept gazing her way, following her around the office. Later, he walks to her desk, holds out a bloody finger, pouts, "I'm bleeding doing that." Annoyed, she can hardly believe he would hurt himself using a stapler, gets a piece of tape, wraps his finger, says, "You did something so extremely dangerous. Is your finger the meeting material? All good." Looking at his finger, amused, asks, "Why do you stick that?" Sitting, cranes her neck upwards, says, "Because you're bleeding." Surprised at her effort, he says, "It probably got all healed up while you were sticking that." Sighing, pats his hand, says, "Wouldn't I know that? This is just a consolation. It's something like saying 'oh that must have hurt.'" Pouting, he says, "You said 'just' again." She sighs, swivels in her chair, faces her computer, ignores his pouting face, as he sulks, walks back to his desk. The rest of the day followed much the same, at lunch, he insisted on sitting near by, picking the same item to eat and overall embarrassing and causing misunderstanding amongst her coworkers.

Finally, end of day, exhausted, Dong Kyung received a pleasant unexpected surprise from Myeol Mang. They rode the crowded subway home, standing side by side, she says, "Gosh, I can't even talk. I told you to observe and think, but not like that. Even a kindergartner wouldn't do that. Are you coming tomorrow too?" As she is talking, he gently grabs hold of her body, pushing her to one side, as he moves around to the other side. Looking up expectantly for his answer, he says, "No, I'm not coming tomorrow. The person here is getting off at the next stop." Excited, she cries out, "Really!" But quickly covers her mouth, realizing at her opportunity to sit down on her ride home.

Relaxing into the seat, she tells him, "This is the first time ever I'm going home sitting down since I started working." Standing, looks down, says, "I observed and thought. You looked tired and I thought you'd want to sit." She sighs contently, says, "That's so touching. You're really almost a human." He rolls his eyes, but a hint of a pleased smile shows as a dimple barely deepens in his cheek. She waves her hand for him to bend down, whispering in his ear, "Is there going to be any other ones?" Softly he says, "There is." Excitedly, she says, "Then hurry and go sit, what are you waiting?" Standing to his full height, says, "I don't need to. Because I have to look at you from here." Embarrassed, she takes out her phone, busying herself reading the latest chapter of her writers, only to discover a mistake made in an upload on one of the writers which he noticed by reading the thoughts of the gentleman sitting next to Dong Kyung. Immediately a bad feeling sunk into her gut that this will not end well for her in the long run…
