UPDATE NOTICE
So, it's been a while and here I am with something that's not the next chapter. And for that I am sorry, but it's been long enough that I feel that you guys deserve to hear from me about what's going on, so here this is. The status of the story is currently something I'd unfortunately call hiatus. Or at the least, I don't expect chapter 14 to be out until much later on down the road, like a couple of months from now (though that may or may not change, I wouldn't count on a repeat of December happening in May)
I considered starting this off with an April Fools type omake or something filled with crack like in 12.1 to break this in (we're past that now), I've had ideas for sure (Batmite and Myx, Hellbat, Zoro), but nothing's really flowing for me and I don't want to force anything out if I'm not into it. And lately, it's been hard getting the motivation to write consistently outside of some bursts of it here and there for chapters 14 and 15 of this fic and my other stories, so progress has been rather slow on all my fronts. (and for readers of my other stuff, I'll probably be writing one of these status updates for them as well, most of them at least, sometime soon)
And I'm sure that some of you are curious as to why exactly is there even a chapter 15 if I haven't even finished chapter 14 yet, well that's a similar case to the interlude and chapter 13 (don't worry, we'll still be mostly in Amazo's POV for both even if the League and others pop in for a bit of experimentation), both were meant to be one chapter before I decided to split them apart, in this case it was a stairs joke that I felt worked as an end to the chapter 14 (I usually prefer to keep the stairs moments well spaced apart if I can, but the thing just clicked for me, so in it is) I'm not fond of the words 'subvert expectations' as they've ruined many a movie, but since one of you asked for this (*wink wink*), I sorta apply it as it won't be happening in the way that you had in mind (but of course, Bats will be getting a stair induced migraine as per usual).
Now, as for the status of the chapters themselves; I'll give you a current word count, a few bits of dialogue from them or a line relating to them, and even some cryptic spoilers if you'd like (though feel free to ignore them, they'll be at the very bottom of the chapter for those who don't want to see them), so you at least have a taste of something new.
chapter 14 (1833 words atm, approx 20% done): "You were not guided or lulled here by a sheep, so perhaps not in the traditional sense. Yet it seems you have managed to dream of one anyway... even if it does not 'baa' traditionally." / "it must've been one hell of a suitcase you've packed."
chapter 15 (2279 words atm, approx 20% done): "I am the future, Flash" / "I have harnessed the harness-" "it looks like one of your straps broke in the process. Next time, maybe tighten those harnesses a bit more" "...believe me, I tried."
interlude 2? (?): "[my] obligations don't end at the borders of my dimension"
That all said, I do apologize once again for the wait and thank you guys for your patience. And do feel free to share your thoughts if you'd like, though I'll warn that my own have become a bit slow to form (if it wasn't obvious enough already lol), I've missed this ngl.

chapter 14: an electric ? and a delightful chat. A first time meeting long due, though perhaps there need not be a last time (featuring a malding baldy and a running gag you shouldn't run on)
chapter 15: some self reflection (god feels no pain [nor fear]), 2nd best CW show villain and le jojo reference. Redemption Hereafter
interlude 2? (no words as of yet, probably slotted to happen in after chapter 15, 16, or 17): "their mess is worse than ours' ever was! we're the mess!"
cryptic but rather blunt. seriously, a huge spoiler ahead for the nature of interlude 2?:
a news conference butterflies into an observer's incursion Elsewhere (A better world meets one filled with crisis. and perchance, they'll be some gods among them as well. As for when they'll be amogus, likely after we've dealt with be being Starcrossed)
