Dong Kyung talked her brother into visiting the hospital. Concerned her brain cancer might be genetic, asked her doctor to perform a scan and blood work. While on the premises, she took a break outdoors on one of the many benches, lost in her thoughts. Jolted by a demanding voice, "Open this for me. Hurry up and open it for me. I am thirsty." Opening the bottle, hands it back to the petite girl, who wears hospital pajamas. She is so familiar, there is no mistaking that this is the girl from the funeral home.

She says, "I am right, aren't I?"

Little God says, "What?"

She says, "Last time, at the bus stop. It's amazing. We meet like this again. Are you hurting somewhere?"

Little God does not answer her question but instead asks her own, "How about you? Where does it hurt, Unni?"

Dong Kyung is surprised, says,

"Uh? Me?"

Little God talks faster,

"You must've come to the hospital because you are hurting, right?"

Feeling a bit confused, she says,

"Well…"

Quickly, little God responds,

"It seems that neither of us wants to talk about it. It means let's talk about something else."

Dong Kyung notices the flower pot sitting next to the petite girl, inquires,

"What is that flower pot?"

Little God protectively touches the pot.

"This? I am waiting for it to sprout."

Interested, asks, "What did you plant?"

Little God responds in a serious tone,

"Well, I don't know either. If it will sprout or not. If it does sprout, what will it be?"

Curious, Dong Kyung says, "What if something strange sprouts?"

God matter of fact says, "I will have to pull it out."

Surprised, she asks, "Pull it out?"

Little God says, "It's ok. I just have to plant it again. Since this is mine. That is not mine, but this one is mine."

She nods towards a planter with some pretty white flowers, then indicating her clay pot.

Dong Kyung smiles, says, "Then, I hope something nice sprouts."

God gently smiles, says, "I hope so, too. I've put a lot of care into it and have waited for it. Since it's my first time planting. I am done drinking so I am leaving. This is a gift since you opened my drink for me."

Rising, she hands Dong Kyung a plastic encased holder with a glass marble inside. Accepting the gift from the young girl, who promptly smiles, says, "Goodbye, see you next time, Unni." Dong Kyung opens the plastic ball, removes the marble, half clear and the other half a deep blue, as her phone rings, she shoves it in her pocked, without a second thought.
