Across town, where Joyce and Giles are, a police officer had his gun trained on Giles as he faced him while letting Joyce go. Joyce backed away as Giles started to step towards the cop.
"Ooo..." Giles said as he took off the hat and tossed it aside. "Copper's got a gun!" He stepped towards the officer while taunting him before jumping around a bit while taunting him more. "You'll never use it, though, man."
"Will so," the officer returned as Giles spied a candy bar in the officer's jacket pocket.
"Ripper, be careful!" Joyce told him.
She distracted the officer as Giles batted the cop's gun-holding hand aside. He grabbed the gun and held it before headbutting the cop in the forehead and kneed him in the crotch and gut. The cop doubled over in pain as Giles twisted the cop's arm above his head while taking the beretta from him and kneed him in the face.
"Told him he'd never use it," Giles said as the cop fell unconscious before he put the gun into the back of his pants while smiling.
"You are sooo cool," Joyce voiced as he sashayed over to Joyce while she leaned against the police car laughing. "You're like Burt Reynolds."
In a flash, Giles's hand grabbed her neck while the other went around her back as she startled and gasped but didn't struggle. Instead, she took out her gum before he kissed her passionately as he leaned her against the hood. They continued kissing, not realizing the trouble that the town was in.

Across town, we had stopped spinning as our cars faced in opposite directions. I got out and threw up as the other driver started to open his door.
"Sorry! Gotta go!" The man said as he quickly left the car and ran off laughing.
Buffy and the others joined me while Cole, Kate, and Kyra rushed to my side. Mine and Buffy's first instinct was to chase the man before we got a good look at the dent.
"Oh, God," Buffy muttered as Snyder tried to close his door.
"Are you guys okay?" Kate asked as Snyder nodded while Willow and Oz walked around the car.
"Is anybody else all creeped out and trembly?" Willow asked as we spotted three men laughing and smoking in the playground.
"Oh, Buffy..." Snyder said as he rubbed his shoulder while adding. "Your mom's gonna kill you."
"Something's weird," Cole stated as he stared at the other side of the street.
"Something's not?" Oz questioned.
"No grownups," Kyra responded as we spotted two women strutting past a group of men while they munched on chocolate.
We could hear the men catcalling at the women as we continued to speak.
"No one's protecting their homes. Everyone's just..." Buffy voiced as Snyder unwrapped another chocolate bar.
"Wandering," I finished Buffy's sentence.
"Hey!" Snyder exclaimed as a man snatched his candy bar before running off. "Hey, give it!" Snyder ran after him while the rest of us stared at the man as he ran away.
"Defenseless," Kyra, Kate and Willow added their thoughts.
"So, where are all the vampires?" Buffy asked as we considered our strange dilemma.
"Soup's on, but no one's grabbing a spoon," I voiced.
"Something's happening... someplace that's else," Oz expressed.
"I'd say something big," Kate stated.
"That guy took my candy!" an upset Synder told us as he returned.
I closed my eyes as my thoughts went back to my vision. My eyes snapped open as I realized what was going on.
"The candy," I muttered while I gave the others an astonished look before continuing. "It's gotta be the candy. It's cursed!"
Kate, Kyra, Buffy, Willow and Oz exchanged a look while Cole grabbed my hand.
"A curse?! Oh, I've got a curse," a worried Synder said.
"God, using candy for evil!" Willow exclaimed.
"My parents ate a ton," Oz pointed out.
"Who's behind it?" Buffy asked Snyder as she looked at him while pushing up against the other car.
"I don't know. It came through the school board," Snyder answered in confusion before continuing. "If you knew that crowd..." He shook his head.
"Where did it come from? Do you know where to get it?" I asked him.
"Yeah," Snyder answered.
"You guys, get Xander, Cordelia, Jeremy and the others. Go to the library and look it up," Buffy told Willow and Oz.
"Kate, Kyra, go with them," I voiced as Cole handed the keys to Kate.
"Candy curses?" Oz questioned.
"Disturbing second childhood. Got it," Willow muttered as she took Oz's hand before heading to the car with Kate and Kyra.
"The rest of us and Ratboy will go to the source," Buffy responded as she shoved him toward the car.
Cole took the keys from Buffy and got in the driver's seat as I sat next to him in the passenger seat. Buffy and Snyder got in the back, and we were off to the source of our problem.

Twenty minutes later, we were out front of the candy factory as two men threw candy bars at the crowd. We jumped out of the car and marched towards the gathering before we stopped in our tracks.
"Mom?" Buffy questioned.
"Giles?!" Cole and I exclaimed.
"Go away. We're busy," Giles told us as we realized they were making out.
"Mom!" Buffy yelled as she pulled Aunt Joyce away from Giles.
"Hey!" Joyce responded before we saw the coat on her.
"Where did you get that coat?" Buffy questioned in shock.
"Never mind. Listen..." I started to say before Giles grabbed Buffy's arm and turned her to face him.
"Back off!" Giles told us.
"Giles, think about this. You wanna fight us..." Cole voiced.
"Or will you let us talk to our Aunt/mother?" I expressed.
Giles backed down before taking a cigarette from behind his ear as we turned to Aunt Joyce.
"Mom, look at me. Do you know we are?" Buffy asked as Giles put his cigarette in his mouth.
"Of course. You're Buffy, and that's Aurora and Cole," Aunt Joyce said as she smiled while Giles lit his smoke. "Hey, look. They're, they're giving away candy." She looked over at the crowd before asking. "You want some candy?"
"No, we don't! And you don't need any more, either," Buffy voiced.
"I'm fine. I can have more if I want," an annoyed Joyce replied.
"You are not fine," I told her.
"You need to go home," Buffy expressed.
"Screw you. I want candy!" Aunt Joyce voiced in anger.
"Mom!" Buffy exclaimed.
"You wanna slay stuff, and I'm not allowed to do anything about it," Aunt Joyce whined before adding. "Well, this is what I wanna do, so get off my back!"
"Aunt Joyce, please... this is..." I started to say before being interrupted by Giles.
"Oh, for God's sake," Giles interrupted as he reached and pulled Joyce away. "Just let your mum have the sodding candy. C'mon, Joyce..."
"Mom, look at your car," Buffy said as she held Aunt Joyce back while pointing at her car. "Look at that dent the size of New Brunswick. I did that."
"Oh, my God," Aunt Joyce responded as I could tell her teen self was grossed out. "What was I thinking when I bought the Geek Machine?"
Giles burst out laughing as we couldn't believe her response before Buffy walked over to Giles.
"Listen to us. You need..." Buffy started to say before she was interrupted by Giles.
"No, you listen to me," Giles interrupted as he pointed at us. "I'm your watcher, so you do what I tell you. Now, sod off!" He pointed at the jeep.
"Take her home," I sternly voiced as I grabbed his cigarette from his mouth, threw it down and stomped on it before we headed for the crowd.
"Joyce..." We heard Giles say as we could hear them coming towards us.
We pushed through the crowd towards the loading dock before stepping on a crate. Buffy punched one of the men throwing candy at the gathering before he crumbled and fell off the platform. Buffy and Cole jumped onto the platform before helping me up. The other man attacked us before I punched him in the side while Buffy backhanded him. Buffy soon followed up with two more punches to the face and the gut before ducking his punch. Cole kicked him into the factory wall before launching off the dock and into the crowd.
"Mom!" Buffy said as we spotted them stuffing chocolate bars into the pockets near the dock and headed to them.
"Hey!" Aunt Joyce reacted as Buffy grabbed Aunt Joyce and pulled her up.
"Oy! You leave her alone!" Giles said as he looked up at us.
Cole kicked the door to the factory as Giles hopped onto the dock and followed us into the building but not before Snyder joined us.
"Hey, Brit-face! Wait up!" We heard Snyder say as he joined us in the factory.

When we got inside, Buffy was pulling into the shipping area before she let her go.
"Stay," Buffy and I said as we looked around at what we could find.
We saw a conveyor with boxes sealed before seeing a familiar man on the phone listening to whoever was on the other side.
"It smells so chocolatey," We heard Snyder say.
"This is far out," Giles replied as Buffy, Cole and I approached the man on the phone.
"Yeah, I've been out there. Twon's wide open. You guys can go anytime," the man said as we realized who he was.
"Ethan Rayne," Buffy and I voiced as we crossed our arms in front of us.
He turned to us as his eyes went wide in surprise. Giles came up behind us with Joyce and Snyder behind him.
"Might wanna hurry," a nervous Ethan told the person on the phone.
"Ethan," Giles voiced as he stopped behind us.
"Ripper," Ethan returned as he tried to make a run for it.
"Cole, go with them," I told as Buffy and Giles ran off after him.
Cole ran off with Buffy and Giles as they followed after Ethan Rayne. I sat in a chair while wondering how the others were doing with researching our problem.

Across town at the school library, Oz, Xander, Jeremy, Sam, and Dean were up in the stacks researching while Kate, Kyra, Willow, Cordelia, Rebekah and Jo were sitting at the table looking through some volumes.
"At first, it was fun, you know?" Cordelia told them. "They seemed like they were in this good mood... not like parents... and then..."
"Badness?" Jo voiced.
"Mom started borrowing my clothes. There should be an age limit for lycra pants. And Dad, he just locked himself in the bathroom with old copies of Esquire," Cordelia returned.
"I don't get this," Xander expressed as he came to the table with more books. "The candy's supposed to make you feel all immature and stuff, but I've had a ton, and I don't feel any dif..." He got a look from the girls. "Never mind." He, Dean and Jeremy held out six books to Willow, Kate, Kyra and Jo.
"I take that one," Willow voiced as KAte, Kyra, and Jo took their books.
Willow took hold of a book before her thumb brushed against Xander's while feeling the electricity between them. They looked at each other before looking away as Willow pulled the book from Xander's hand. After they exchanged looks and Willow took the book, Xander headed back upstairs with the other while Dean and Jeremy sat on the stairs with their volumes.
"You wanna swap?" Cordelia questioned as she stared at her book while Willow followed Xander with her eyes.
"What?" a startled Willow said before questioning in confusion. "Swap?"
"You wanna swap? This book is really thick, and I'm not sure it's in English," Cordelia voiced as she traded with Willow.
Willow continued with her research as she knew Cordelia didn't mean boyfriends.

Across town at the candy factory, Ethan was running through the maze of boxes as Buffy, Cole, and Giles rushed to keep up with him. After a while, they stopped running as Buffy and Cole realized they had lost him.
"Where... Bloody Hell!" Giles gasped.
"That's what smoking will do to you. Now be quiet," Buffy voiced.
"Well..." Giles gasped before asking. "Where'd the bastard go?"
"Shh!" Buffy reacted in annoyance as she and Cole looked around while listening carefully before stopping around the corner.
"What?" Giles questioned as Buffy and Cole pretended to go before she did a half spin hook kick to a crate.
"Look. A box full of farm-fresh chicken," Buffy voiced as Cole yanked away a chunk of wood before she reached in and pulled Ethan's head out.
Ethan gave them a nervous smile before it faded as they got him out and headed back to the front area.

Across the factory, I sat on a chair while texting Kate as Aunt Joyce and Snyder sat on the conveyor eating more chocolate.
"Do you suppose they're okay?" Aunt Joyce asked.
"Mm-hm," Snyder said as he chewed on his chocolate bar. "So..." He continued to chew. "... are you two kinda..." He smacked his lips. "like, um..." He looked at her knees. "going steady?"
Aunt Joyce rolled her eyes before she sighed and hopped off the conveyor before I noticed Cole nodding his head over to an aisle way. I got up, walked over, and joined them as they questioned Ethan.
"So, Ethan, what are we playing? We're pretty much in a talk-or-bleed situation. Your call," Buffy voiced.
"Hit him," Giles told us before I turned and gave him a glare, then looked back at Ethan.
"I-I'd just like to point out that this wasn't my idea," Ethan stuttered as Giles paced behind us.
"Meaning...?" Cole questioned.
"I'm subcontracting. It's Trick, you want. I'm just helping him collect a tribute..." Ethan told us before he added. "For a demon."
"He's lying. Hit him!" Giles exclaimed.
"I don't think he is, and shut up," I returned.
"You're my Slayers," Giles excitedly voiced before he pointed at Ethan and added. "Go knock his teeth down his thr..."
"Giles!" Buffy, Cole and I interrupted him before he turned away from us and continued to pace.
"What demon?" Cole asked.
"I don't remember," Ethan responded before Buffy punched him in the nose.
He stumbled back against the broken crate while Giles reacted to the punch.
"Yes!" Giles reacted as he jumped and threw his fist up into the air.
We turned and glared at Giles before he lost his smile.
"Lurconis. Demon named Lurconis. They wanted a way to get the tribute away from people," Ethan told us as I got a flash of the town's hospital.
What did they want from the hospital? I questioned myself.
"So you're just the Diversion Guy?" Buffy returned.
"More than a diversion," Ethan replied before continuing. "Well, they said, the tribute was big. So big that people would never let them take it, that people would never let them take it. That people had to be out of it. And later on, when the candy wore off, they'd blame themselves."
I got another flash of the maternity ward at the hospital. I hope the tribute wasn't going to babies because that is the one thing no one would let anyone take. I sighed before I responded.
"Hence, the land of the irresponsible. So, where's Trick?" I voiced.
"I don't know exactly," Ethan replied.
"Hit him again," Giles told us as Buffy held up her fist and gave Ethan a threatening look.
"No! I-I really don't know. Delivering the tribute," Ethan exclaimed while warding Buffy off with his hands.
"Which brings u to the bonus question, and believe me when I say a wrong answer, it will cost you all your points," Buffy told him.
I could tell a teenage Giles was happy as I could hear him leaping for maybe-fight.
"What's the tribute?" I asked him.
He wouldn't answer, so we took him back to where Aunt Joyce and Snyder were while we contacted the others.

What Aurora and the others didn't know… She was right about the one thing that no one would let them take was in the maternity ward. Inside the Maternity ward at the local hospital, the phones were ringing off the hook while the circuit board for the rooms was flashing at the nurse's station. The nurse ignored them as she watched the TV without realizing four vampires entered the hall and walked past her before they entered a room with newborns in it. Each of the vampires took a crying baby from its crib before walking out with them in their arms.

Back across town, we were on a video call with the others. Ethan was leaning against a table while the others watched him.
"Right. Lucronis," Buffy said.
"Lurconis. A demon," Willow repeated before questioning. "What's his deal?"
"See if it says anything about a tribute," I responded.
"A tribute? Like what?" Kate questioned.
"We don't know. Our source is all tapped out," Cole voiced as he, Buffy, and I looked at Ethan.
"They whupped you good, huh?" Snyder said to Ethan as he threw two punches. "Yah! Wah!" He proudly stood. "I can do that. I took Tae Kwon Do at the Y." He did a series of moves while trying to impress Aunt Joyce before she sighed and looked away.
He realized it didn't work before leaning against the wall.
"No, no. It's definitely a demon. A big one," Buffy told her.
"I wouldn't," We heard Giles say as we heard him clock back the safety of a gun.
I grabbed the factory phone before I slammed the phone hard on Ethan's chin. Ethan spun around and hit the floor while dropping the crowbar as Giles aimed the gun at the back of Ethan's head. I handed my phone to Aunt Joyce while I looked at Giles.
"Giles, give me the gun," I ordered him as I held out my hand, but he didn't give in. "Giles..." We stared at each other as he kept the gun on Ethan. "Now." I sternly said.
Giles reluctantly gave me his weapon before I handed it safely over to Cole, who stuffed it into his gun holster.
"Uh, it's, um, it's Willow and Kyra. They want you real bad," Aunt Joyce voiced as she handed my phone over to me.
"What did you find?" I asked as I took the phone.
Buffy, Cole and I were waiting on this side of the video call as we saw Oz showing Willow and Kyra a page in the book.
"Okay, Oz just found it," Willow said before reading. "'The tribute Lurconis is made every thirty years.'" She paused before she paraphrased what it meant. "I-it's a ritual feeding. A-and this one's late, so it's probably, you know, a big meal."
"Oh," Krya said as Oz pointed at another paragraph while reading it. "And... Oh," We watched as she placed her hand on her bump. "Lurconis eats babies."
"Oh, god," I muttered as I placed a hand on my belly.
"We have to go," Cole voiced as I ended the video call before we started to go. "Come on."
Buffy grabbed Aunt Joyce's hand before we started out.
"Well, what about that man?" Aunt Joyce brought up as we turned back to see Giles holding a crowbar over Ethan.
"See, if you guys can find something to tie him up with," I suggested.
"Um..." Joyce started to say as she reached behind her and pulled out a set of handcuffs.
"Never tell us," Buffy voiced as she took them from her.
Buffy handed them over to Cole before he handcuffed Ethan to a spot to keep him there before we headed out of the factory to the hospital.

When we got to the hospital, we headed straight to the Maternity ward and walked into the nursery and empty cribs. Giles and Cole went to talk to a nurse while Buffy and I picked up id wrist bands that were left behind in the cribs. I could feel tears in my eyes, but they didn't fall. I knew we needed those babies before the demon ate them.
"I didn't see anything," We heard the nurse telling Giles and Cole. "I don't know where they are."
"Something's gonna eat those babies?" Aunt Joyce voiced with worry and sadness.
"What can I do?" The nurse asked.
"I think that is so wrong," Snyder muttered as he shook his head.
"Get off my back about it!" The nurse exclaimed before we heard her stalk off.
"She says she never saw who took them," Giles said as he came into the room before adding. "Dozy cow."
"We know who took them," I voiced as I looked at him.
"Well, then let's do something. Let's find the demon and... and..." Giles returned before adding. "Kick the crap out of it."
"Is that what happens now?" Snyder questioned.
"Yeah, if we knew where they were," Cole responded as Buffy started to pace.
Suddenly, I saw Giles's eyes as he remembered something from something he read.
"'Lurconis dwells beneath the city, filth to filth,'" Giles quoted.
"What?" Buffy said as she stopped pacing.
"Ooo!" Giles said as we faced her while I could tell he was trying to remember more. "Uh... I knew this. 'Lurconis' means..." He thought for a moment. "'glutton'. And we'll find it, um..." He shrugged his shoulders while thinking before saying. "in the sewers."
"The sewers?" Aunt Joyce expressed as she went to hug Giles.
"Uh, good. You go do that thing with the demon, and I'll stay here in case the babies, you know, uh... find their way," Snyder mumbled as I knew he was afraid.
"Those babies must be so scared," Aunt Joyce sadly said as she let go of him.
"You filthy little ponce," Giles responded as he stepped towards Synder and challenged him. "Are you afraid of a little demon?"
"If you want to splash around in poo," Snyder said as he shoved Giles before adding. "You're the filthy one!"
Giles shoved him back before Cole got in between them.
"Okay, you know what?" an annoyed Cole voiced before ordering. "Everybody, just stop it!" He turned to Snyder. "Okay, listen to me." He turned to Giles. "I need help, okay? Giles, I need grownups."
"These children are gonna die if we don't act now, okay," I expressed. "And think clearly." I got Giles's attention. "There is no room for mistakes. Besides which..." I paused before continuing. "You guys are just wigging us out."
Snyder gave in and looked away while Giles stared at him one last time before stepping over to Aunt Joyce.
"Sorry," Giles muttered.
"We'll behave," Aunt Joyce replied as she and Giles hugged.
"Good," Buffy said before she turned to Snyder and added. "Snyder, go home."
"I can do that," Snyder returned before leaving.
"Giles, we're going to the sewers," I told him as I faced Giles.
"And don't do that!" Buffy exclaimed as we cringed at him kissing Aunt Joyce before we stalked out of the room.
We left the maternity ward with them following us.

Across town, inside the sewers, in a round drain tunnel, in a bulky chamber. It was lit with torches and candles around the room. The Mayor observed the ritual from behind them before taking out his cell and phoned his secretary. Nearby, Trick watched the four vampires who stole the babies as they chanted in Latin. They were dressed in robes and stood on a wide concrete rim of a small pool. One of them stepped down with a shallow bowl of water taken from the trough before beginning to anoint the babies with the water. All you could hear was one baby crying while the others were silent.
"Come on, big guy. They're not getting any fresher," Trick mumbled.
Across the room, the Mayor's secretary finally answered.
"Carol. Hi. Yeah," The Mayor said as he looked around the sewer before continuing. "Call Dave on the public works committee tomorrow about sewer maintenance and repair. I have some concerns regarding exposed gas pipes, infrastructure, and ventilation. And, uh..." He paused before saying. "Cancel my 3 o'clock appointment." Just as his phone call ended, the last two babies had been anointed.
Suddenly, they heard a large bang before they turned their heads towards and saw the slayers.

Switch Point of view...
When we got to the place, Buffy plopped down as Cole shimmered me into the room.
"Hi," I said as I noticed the Mayor was there.
We have an evil Mayor?! Of course, we have an Evil Mayor! I thought before Buffy, Cole, and I started our fight. The Mayor left as the four-robed vampires quickly moved to attack us. Buffy ducked from the first vampire attack before I roundhoused kicked the second one. While Cole shoved the first one away from him. He smashed into the ladder while I delivered another roundhouse kick to the second vampire. Cole blocked the first vampire's kick before roundhouse kicked the vamp in the side. In the corner of my eye, I saw Aunt Joyce and Giles running over to the table with the babies before they wheeled them away from the fight. The third vampire tried to kick me before I ducked it. The second vampire lunged at Buffy before she jumped and landed behind him. We continued fighting the vampires before I pulled out my silver stake and slammed it into the second vampire while Cole and Buffy staked the first and third. The fourth vampire got up and started attacking Buffy. She side-kicked him before he flew back into the pool rim and fell into the water.
"What the hell's that?" Giles questioned as we heard deep rumbling that kept getting louder.
We watched as the last vampire got onto his knees. An enormous demon snake appeared through another tunnel by the water before engulfing him and retreating back into the tunnel.
"Lurconis, I'm thinking," Buffy voiced before we heard the other vampire in a suit speak.
"Ordinarily, I like other people fighting for me, but I just gotta see what you got," The vampire in a suit expressed.
"Just tells us when it hurts," I returned as Buffy and I advanced on him.
But Cole pulled me back while Giles rushed past us and pushed Buffy back.
"Giles! No!" Buffy exclaimed as he punched the vampire's face, but he wasn't fazed.
The vampire grabbed Giles and threw him into the pool before he made a dash for it. The rumbling started again, but quicker. Giles began to climb out of the water while Buffy and I frantically looked for a way to stop the demon. I got an idea as Buffy leaped for the gas pipe. I used my fire powers and aimed my fire at the demon as Buffy aimed the gas pipeline towards Lurconis. The snake demon reared back while screaming in pain. But before long, the reptile demon was engulfed in flames before we moved away as the snake demon retreated back into its tunnel screaming.
"You and me, girlies," The vampire said as he smiled above us through the open sewer hole before we turned to face him. "There's hard times ahead." He got up before making himself scarce.
"They never just leave," I muttered. "Always gotta say something."
"Can we go home now?" Aunt Joyce questioned as she came out from the shadows.
"Yeah, we can go home," Buffy said as a soaking-wet Giles got up before she added. "I've got the SATs tomorrow."
"Oh, blow them off. I'll write you a note," Aunt Joyce replied as she walked to the babies.
"No. It's okay," Buffy returned before we joined her.
"Poor babies. Come on..." Aunt Joyce said.
"We should get them back to the hospital," Cole stated as Giles came over to help us.
We got the babies out of the sewer before heading towards the hospital.

Across town at city hall in the Mayor's office, The Mayor questioned Trick as he paced.
"And your friend?" The Mayor questioned.
"Paid him. The man did his job. There was no reason to burn that bridge," Trick answered.
"This didn't turn out the way... I had planned," The Mayor responded.
"Where is the downside?" Trick asked before adding. "You got yourself one less demon you have to pay tribute to. The way I see it, I did you a favour."
"I guess you did," The Mayor said as he smiled before putting his hands on Trick's shoulders and leaning close to his ear. "In the future..." He paused before continuing. "I'd be very... careful of how many favours you do for me?" He let go of Trick's shoulders before stepping away while Trick looked at him coldly.

After bringing the babies back to the hospital, we finally arrived home at Slayers Homestead. Aunt Joyce headed to shower before going to bed. We headed upstairs to shower and change for bed. I walked into my room, took off my clothes, and threw them into the laundry basket before grabbing my pjs and heading into the bathroom for the first shower. I quickly showered before changing into my Pjs and heading into the nursery to check on Persephone. I noticed a sleeping Lady on the floor in front of the crib before looking into the crib and kissing Persephone's forehead.
"Night, my love. Sleep time," I whispered before heading out of the nursery and into my room.
I pulled back the covers and got into the bed before turning out the lights and falling asleep.

The next morning... I woke to find Persephone and Cole dressed and awake on my bed.
"Morning, my love. Did you sleep well?" I asked as she babbled at me.
"Mamama," Persephone babbled.
"Ahh, let Daddy Cole get some food into you while Mama gets dressed," I voiced before kissing her head.
"See you downstairs," Cole said before he headed out of the room with Persephone.
I slipped out of bed and grabbed today's outfit before getting ready. After dressing, I did my hair and makeup before brushing my teeth and headed downstairs for breakfast.

When I got downstairs and walked into the kitchen, Jenna was heating up pre-made breakfast quesadillas while Kyra blended today's smoothie.
"Morning, all," I said as Cole fed Persephone her breakfast.
"Morning," Kate said as she sat down next to me.
"Where's mom?" Buffy asked as she came into the kitchen.
"Work. But she'll be picking you up for your appointments," Jenna answered.
Buffy didn't say anything before we sat down and ate breakfast before heading off to school.

Switch Point of View...
Across town at the school, Snyder was walking down the hall before being spotted by Xander.
"Hey, Snyder. Heard you had some fun last night. Have you come down yet?" Xander questioned as Cordelia smiled, but she tried to hide it.
"That's 'Principal Snyder," Snyder sneered.
"And that's a big yep," Xander replied.
"You look like four young people with too much time on your hands," Snyder said as he eyed the four of the Scooby gang while they stood in the hall.
"Not really," Oz replied.
"Busy like a bee, actually," Cordelia responded with a smile before adding. "Bee-like!"
"Good. It seems, we had some vandalism last night on school property, and I was just looking for some..." Snyder returned before continuing. "Volunteers to help clean it up."
They looked at the bank of lockers just down the hall before Snyder closed Xander's locker as Willow read what the spray-painted words said.
"Kiss Rocks? Why would anyone want to kiss..." Willow questioned before getting a look from Snyder and realizing. "Oh, wait. I get it."
"Let's get you some paint remover," Snyder said as he nodded before he continued down the hall with the others following him.

Back to the original Point of view...
Time Skip
After we got to school, Buffy did her SATs while we did our college projects and studied for our college midterms. The school day was over. We were talking with Giles as we walked to meet Aunt Joyce.
"It was just too much to deal with? It was like nothing made sense anymore. The things that I thought I understood were gone. I just felt..." Buffy expressed before adding. "...so alone."
"Was that the math or the verbal?" Giles questioned.
"Mostly the math," Buffy answered.
"Well, if you scored low," Giles said before suggesting. "Then you will be able to re-take the test again."
"More SATs?" Buffy sighed before continuing. "Is there really a point? I could die before even applying to college."
"Buffy, you shouldn't think that way," I told her as Aunt Joyce's SUV stopped at the curb.
"And then, you very possibly might not," Giles expressed as we stepped onto the sidewalk.
"Yes, well. Let's keep hope alive," Kyra asserted as Aunt Joyce stepped out.
"Hello," Giles said as he awkwardly smiled.
"Hi," a shy Aunt Joyce replied.
"Your car seems to have had an adventure, doesn't it?" Giles voiced as he saw the dent.
We looked at the dented rear door and back panel. I headed to the car, got Persephone in the car seat and did her straps.
"Uh, the girls and Jeremy assured me that it happened battling evil, so I'm letting them pay for it on the installment plan," Aunt Joyce stated.
Kate, Kyra, Jeremy and I gave our part of the money to get the car fixed, while Buffy had to pay it from her allowance.
"Uh, hey, the way things were going," Buffy voiced as she pointed at the dent before continuing. "Be glad that's the worst that happened. At least Aurora and I got to the two of you before you two actually did something."
Buffy, Kate, and Kyra joined me in the car. Buffy got in the front seat while Kyra, Kate, and I sat in the back. I looked over at Giles and Aunt Joyce only to realize something did happen last night as they both looked embarrassed.
"Right," Aunt Joyce said.
"Indeed," Giles replied before they both pivoted in opposite directions.
Giles headed back to the school while Aunt Joyce came over to the car.
"Let's get you to your appointments," Aunt Joyce voiced as she got in and started the car.
We were off to our appointments. We can only hope there is no serious trouble like this again. Who are we kidding, this is Sunnydale.
