Rain pelts down on already wet pavement, complete darkness held back by dimmed street lights, scent of dampness, freshness in the air. Dong Kyung's last words hang in the quietness of the night. Moments tic by as she waits a response from this man.

Myeol Mang stares deeply into her eyes, answers, "No."

Crestfallen, soft brown eyes drop, shoulders droop, a deflation of her entire spirit.

Gazing at her, only a second, releases a deep pent up breath, warm steam quickly evaporating in the cold air. His heart pinches, all his pent up yearnings coming to fruition in the disappointment reflected in her beautiful brown eyes.

One step towards his destiny, reaches out a hand, long fingers rest along her cold neck, thumb gently presses into her dampened cheek. Bending to her height, firmly presses cold lips against her warm ones.

A jolt coursed through out his body, yearning flares, rain continues seeping into already drenched clothing, droplets of salty water drizzle down her cheeks onto her wet lips, a sensation of sliding and smoothness.

Shifting his head ever so slightly, parted lips, opening, a better access, tasting salty wetness of rain and of her, a mind numbing blankness as he enjoyed the pleasure of her lips. Desiring a greater closeness, a muscle in his jaw ripples as he deepens their kiss, rain falling drips onto their lips creates a slipperiness allows his tongue to slide in easily to feel the warmth of her mouth.

She reaches for his shoulder, he moves his hand to her back, pulls her closer towards his body. A deep yearning ignites, out of breath, stops momentarily, gazes into her eyes, an odd look crosses his face.

Dark eyes look scared, looks down, back up at her, sensing in his core a wrong doing, seems listening to a far off voice.

Thunder rumbles in the far off distance, Myeol Mang appears disturbed, quickly, one step back from Dong Kyung.

Distancing himself physically, a barrier…

Confused, she asks, "What?"

As she asks that unanswered question, finds an empty spot where he had just stood a second ago.

Now he is gone…
