Chapter 58
Enter Tomoko, Makoto's Friend!
Last Time in our adventure, Our heroes, Ash Ketchum, Usagi Tsukino, Ami Mizuno, Rei Hino, Makoto Kino, Minako Aino, Chibiusa, Hotaru, Naru Osaka, Duplica, Erika, Jeanette Fisher, Unazuki, May, Misty, Verity, Setsuna Meiou, Daisy, Lilly, Violet, Mamoru, Sorrel, Haruka Tenoh, and Michiru Kaioh set out to qualify for the Orange League, with their new friend Tracey tagging along, and Hotaru caught her first Pokémon, Lapras. They took on Atsumi and Dan and won the first two gym badges, and they decided to stop to Manderin Island for the girls to compete in the Orange Islands fashion show, and ran into Lorelei of the Kanto Elite four! Another beautiful day on the Orange Islands, and on Manderin Island South our heroes prepare for a long walk across the island after a beach day in their new bikinis after giving Ash a fashion show that he deserves. Last time the girls attend the Orange Islands Fashion Show, with Lorelei, Haruka and Michiru joining Ash's harem, Misty is gushing about it.
"Ah, that was the best fashion show I've ever modelled in!" Misty beamed. "And we got new bikinis too!"
"You can say that again little Sis." Lily said. "I can't remember the last time I was in a fashion show."
"I'm so happy that I've found true love again!" Lorelei beamed, wrapping her arms around Ash's arm. "Thank you for accepting me into your harem Ashy!"
"The pleasure is all mine." He replied Haruka and Michiru kiss him as well
"Yes, thank you for accepting us Ashy." Haruka said.
"It was so heartwarming of you." Michiru said.
"Did Ashy see Haruka and Michiru's sexy butts last time?" Minako asked sneakily
"I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear that." Usagi said
"Isn't it just a beautiful day?" Erika smiled, breathing in the fresh air.
"Sure is. Ashy was really loving us on the catwalk wasn't he?" Rei said. "What do you think Mako?"
But Makoto didn't hear Rei, as she seemed to be distracted by something.
"Mamma Mako?" Hotaru asked. "Are you alright?"
"Mako honey?" Ash asked placing his hand on her hand. "You okay?"
"Huh?" Makoto asked, snapping out of her trance. "Oh uh, yeah, I just got distracted by the latest book that Tomoko wrote."
"Tomoko?" May asked. "Who's Tomoko?"
"The thing is, and this may be hard to believe, but you know the author of that book, Tomoko Takase? I used to be classmates with her before I transferred schools." Makoto said.
"How did she get the ability to write stories?" Ash asked "Not to mention the inspiration?"
"Well it's quite the story of it's own Ashy." Usagi said. "But I think it would be best if Mako told it herself."
"She's the same age as you and the girls. Not to mention talent, unlike 2 certain blondes I know." Luna said
"Watch it cat!" Usagi and Minako glared
"Mama Mako, please tell us." Hotaru begged
"Oh that's right, you weren't there when we met Tomoko, Hotaru." Chibiusa said.
The gang heres a commotion at one of the book stores. There was a line of people outside and they were pushing or shoving and shouting things trying to get inside.
"Out of my way!"
"I'm first!"
"End of the line you!"
"Let me though! I want one!"
"I've gotta get a copy before they're all sold out!"
There Were some of the things that were shouted.
"Hey what's going on over there?" Minako wondered.
"Looks like there's a fight going on at that book store." Verity noted
"I think they are getting a copy of Romeo and Makoet'. Ash mentioned
"Pikachu."
"Hey look at that!" Unazuki said, pointing to a magazine. "This is the magazine for the latest best selling books and novels recently released." After flipping through the pages, Unazuki found one page that was very interesting. "Hey Mako, you and Ashy might want to come take a look at this."
The two came to Unazuki, then they found two characters that look just like them
"Whoa! What's this?!" Ash gasped, before reading the article. "'The latest best selling book, a retelling of Romeo and Juliet with some changes to the original story, featuring Pokémon League Champions Ash Ketchum and Makoto Kino.'"
Makoto then looked at the bottom where the writer's name was and when she saw who it was, she almost fell back in surprise but Ash was there to keep her balance.
"Woah! Mako!" Ash cried
"Mako, what's wrong?" Sorrel asked.
"You guys really are slow." A girl said, walking up to them. "I've been waiting for the new story to come out for an entire..." Then she saw Makoto. "Oh my god! You look like the girl in the story!"
"And the guy in the book!" The boy gasped
"Huh?" Ash and Makoto asked.
Then someone came over with a book and sure enough on the front cover was a boy that looked like Ash in his Lupin the 3rd outfit and Makoto who had her black dress on.
"I love this story so much." A boy said, hugging his book. "It's a retelling of Romeo and Juliet only the best part is they don't die!"
"Whoa, whoever drew the front cover, they certainly got Ashy's handsomeness and Mako's bust right." Duplica said.
"Ah… they did." Ash gasped "Mako, can you tell us about This Tomoko girl?"
"Well, I guess I can." Makoto said. "I suppose I should start from the first time we met." And this was the story that Makoto told.
One Day Tomoko is trying to get her scripts back by some pranksters and their Ekans, Koffing and Radicate, they play catch with it, while Tomoko who seems to be a girl of average height and slender figure. She has dark green hair that is always tied into two braids on each side of her head. In her regular day attire, she is seen with two yellow bows, each attached to one end of each braid. She wears circle-shaped glasses that cover her dark blue eyes.
"Hey, give it back! Give it to me!" Tomoko cried, as she tried to get her scripts back.
"Want it come and get it!" The prankster shouted
"Yeah! Come and get it!" Another said
"Hey, Stop!" Makoto shouted angrily
The pranksters and their Pokémon turned to see Makoto and her Jolteon on top of a hill staring at them and Jolteon was looking like it was about to use Thunder.
"Crap! It's Makoto!" the prankster feared
"We're gonna get in big trouble! Rub for it!" Another prankster gasped
With that the pranksters and their Pokémon scrambled with them dropping Tomoko's scripts.
"Oh um, thank you." Tomoko thanked
"You're welcome, but hey, I should teach you how to kick their butts." Makoto replied as she picks up Tomoko's scripts "Hold up, did we go to the same school?"
"Yes, we're same class." Tomoko said.
Makoto flinched
"Oh right, sorry. I just transferred here so I dont know anyone yet." Makoto apologized then her curiosity is peaked "Hey is this homework?"
"No it's not, it's my manuscript." Tomoko said.
"Manuscript?" Makoto asked, before she started reading it.
"Please give it back, i just finished it." Tomoko said
"But I wanna read it." Makoto said.
"I wasn't really planning on showing it to anyone." Tomoko said
"Stop talking and let me be the judge." Makoto said as she continued reading and sitting next to a tree
And so, for the next couple of hours, Makoto carefully read through Tomoko's manuscript page by page until she finally stopped and looked up at Tomoko while handing back her manuscript.
"It's good," she said with a smile. "I like your novel so far. I may not look it, but I'm a fan of reading, and I've never been drawn into a story like this one before!"
"Oh thank you but you're just saying that." Tomoko said, as Makoto handed her script back to her
"Look, I don't give empty compliments to just anyone I don't know," said Makoto. "Let me know if you write any more, OK?"
And Makoto walked away, leaving Tomoko at a loss for words but filled with new confidence for herself and admiration for Makoto.
"I will!" Tomoko called
A few days later, at school, Tomoko was watching the school's soccer team practice on the field from behind the shadows of the trees. Most of the boys were pretty athletic and good-looking, but one particular guy was one that Tomoko was deeply in love with, a young ace on the team as athletic as was handsome.
Then, Makoto snuck up to her with two cans of cold tea. She then pressed a can of tea to her forehead, making her jump.
"Hello." Makoto called
"Oh Mako." Tomoko said, as she took one of the cans in Makoto handed her. "Thank you."
"Ah… I see, "So, you like the athletic type of guy, Tomoko?" Makoto grinned as she handed her a can.
Tomoko went pink as she accepted the tea. "Not exactly," she said shyly. "It's just that whenever I watch him play, I get all sorts of inspiration for stories."
"He knows." Makoto asked opining her can. "Right?"
Tomoko's cheeks then turned red. "W-Well, no." she replied. "He's so popular and probably wouldn't even notice me."
That was when Makoto had an idea. "Hey! I got it! Why don't you submit your novel to a magazine or something?" she suggested. "That way more people can read it, if you get your novel published and everyone starts talking about it, he'll have to notice you!"
"But what if I fail?" Tomoko asked, sounding unsure.
"You got this, I believe in you Tomoko." Makoto said, showing her support for her friend.
Tomoko then smiled, her confidence sparkling in her eyes. "OK. I'll do it."
"And that's how I met Tomoko," finished Makoto. "And from there, I'm sure you can figure out the rest of the story. To think that it all started with a suggestion I made to her, I told her she should try sending her story to a magazine. And, I would read her manuscript and tell her what I thought about it. That encouraged her to keep writing and eventually, her hard work paid off as she released her debut novel."
"Wow Mako, sounds like your friend really became who she was today, because you inspired and encouraged her to come out of her shell." Jeanette said.
"Same thing I did with Ami and May to have them come out of their shells." Ash said
"Aw, Ashy." Ami and May giggled and blushed
"She sounds like a wonderful person." Setsuna said. "I wonder if she is available to talk."
"Well, she is, but I still don't know what caused her to lose her inspiration when she and I reunited before I met you Ashy." Makoto said, before looking back at the magazine. "Oh how I wish I could see Tomoko again one day."
"Well ask and you shall receive Mamma Mako!" Chibiusa said. "'Cause I can see Tomoko over there signing books!"
"Hey, Mabye one day, we should take Tomoko to the Hundred Acre Wood!" Hotaru said making Ami flinch
"What?" Makoto asked, before looking at the book store and there sitting by an outside desk, with a bunch of people lining up and holding books waiting for their turn was Tomoko signing one book after the other.
There she was a girl of average height and slender figure. She has dark green hair that is always tied into two braids on each side of her head. In her regular day attire, she is seen with two yellow bows, each attached to one end of each braid. She wears circle-shaped glasses that cover her dark blue eyes. and is wearing a yellow sweater, with a dress on top. She is sometimes seen wearing a green jacket.
"Here you go." Tomoko said, handing a book back to a boy at the desk.
"Thank you."
"NEXT!" The manager of the book store called.
A girl walked up and handed Tomoko her book.
"Hello there." Tomoko said, before signing the book.
"One at a time! One at a time!" An announcer called. "Ms. Tomoko will have plenty of time to sign all your books!"
"Hey girls there she is!" Usagi pointed, to Tomoko who is signing books.
"Mako! Look Tomoko's over there!" Chibiusa told the tall busty brunette and pointed to her friend.
"It's her." Makoto gasped, before she called out to her old friend. "HEY TOMOKO!"
It's basically a retelling of Romeo and Juliet but different. The story tells on how Mako found love and she instantly knew it had to be her old friend Tomoko who wrote it. Tomoko looked up from signing books and saw Makoto. "Is that Mako?"
"Tomoko! It's me, Mako!" She called
"Mako!" Tomoko cried, and the two embraced each other in a hug. "I really missed you!"
"I really missed you two Tomoko!" Makoto cried. "What brings you here?"
"I recently got promoted to write stories here on Manderin Island South." Tomoko said. "The reviews and comments I get from my stories have increased."
"That's amazing Tomoko!" Makoto said.
"Looks like Mako's happy to see her friend again." Naru smiled.
"Hotaru, why do you mean by bringing Tomoko to the Hundred Acre Wood?" Ami wispered to Hotaru
"Well Mamma Ami, since she's a writer she might like to meet Winnie the Pooh." Hotaru said.
"That will be a wonderful idea." Ami agreed "Maybe she could write a novel of Pooh and his friends, and Tracey can be illustrating them."
"It's great to see Mako's been reunited with an old friend." Rei smiled. "Right Ashy?"
"I'll say, it's great to seem them reunite after so long." Ash agreed then Makoto turned to her lover, Tomoko then noticed Ash and she couldn't help but blush at him, Tomoko then noticed Ash and she couldn't help but blush at him.
"So Mako, are you gonna introduce me to your friends?" Tomoko asked, as the two broke from their hug.
"Of course I am." Makoto said. "I'm sure you already know Usagi, Ami, Rei, Minako and Chibiusa."
"Hi Tomoko!" Usagi, Ami, Rei, Minako and Chibiusa said.
"Nice to see you girls again." Tomoko said. "And who are your other friends Mako?"
"I'm Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town." He greeted "and here is Pikachu."
"Pika, Pikachu."
"I'm Naru Osaka."
"Hello there. My name's Erika. I'm the Celadon City Gym Leader."
"Duplica's the name."
"Hello Tomoko, I'm Jeanette Fisher."
"Hello, I'm May, I'm from Petalburg City in the Hoenn Region."
"I'm Unazuki."
"I'm Misty, the Cerulean City Gym Leader."
"I'm Daisy."
"I'm Lily."
"I'm Violet."
"Haruka Tenoh."
"My name's Michiru Kaioh."
"My name is Setsuna Meioh, nice to meet you."
"My name's Hotaru."
"I'm Verity. I'm from the Sinnoh Region."
"I'm Brock the Gym Leader of Pewter City."
"My name's Mamoru Chiba."
"I'm Sorrel, I'm from the Sinnoh Region too."
"I'm Lorelei from the Kanto Elite Four."
"And my name's Tracey. I'm a Pokémon Watcher."
"It's really nice to meet all of you." Tomoko said
"It's nice to meet you too Tomoko." Ash said. "Mako has told us so much about you and your accomplishments."
"Oh, looks like someone's blushing at my old friend." Makoto teased.
"Hey Mako, do you really have to tease me now?" Ash asked.
Tomoko couldn't help but let out a giggle. "So Mako, I take it that Ash is your boyfriend?"
"Yup, she's part of my everlasting and evergrowing harem." Ash said, as Makoto kissed his cheeks.
Tomoko was quiet at first but then she gasped. "WHAT!? HAREM!! AS IN YOU'RE IN LOVE WITH MORE THAN JUST MAKO?!" Tomoko gasped in shock.
"Yes, he has about twenty girls." Minako said. "Well twenty-one if you count Atsumi the Gym Leader of Natsukan Island."
"She promised to meet up with us in the Orange League." Rei said
"We became fast friends at first and overtime we feel in love." Ash said then he was about to ask her if she can join but Makoto interrupted him
"So Tomoko, I gotta ask, why did you rewrite my favorite Shakespear play and have Ashy, as Romeo and me as Juliet?" Makoto asked.
"Well, you see Mako." Tomoko said, while blushing. "I saw you and your friends win the Pokémon League on TV at the Indigo Plateau, and the way Ash was holding your hand like that, I had a feeling you two were in love. It inspired me to write the story as I thought it would really surprise you if we ever met up somewhere."
"You saw us win the Pokémon league?" Ash asked
"Well yes, practically everyone has." Tomoko said.
"So Tomoko I was wondering would you like to spend the whole day with us?" He asked "That is if you're done with your shift."
"I would, but I've still got a lot of books to sign." Tomoko said.
"How long have you been signing books?" Misty asked.
"About maybe three to four days." Tomoko answered
"That's okay, Tomoko." The shop's manager said. "You've done more than enough for these past few days, so you take a break and we'll carry on with this tomorrow."
"Oh finally thank you!" Tomoko sighed in relief. "Another full day of signing books and I think my fingers would've fallen off! It looks like I'm free after all. Maybe you can also tell me some of your adventures."
"Thank you, Tomoko." Ash said then Tomoko hugs him and doesn't want to let go of him
Ash gasped and his face turned red as a PokéBall cause he never seen a friend of Makoto's hug him immediately before but after a while, he starts to like it and starts hugging Tomoko back.
"You're quite the hugger aren't you Tomoko?" Ash chuckled.
"Ashy loves to be hugged by his lovers." Makoto mentioned "Hey, how about we head to the park and tell Tomoko about the adventures."
"That's a great idea Mako, then maybe she might get ideas for some new stories based on our adventures." Chibiusa beamed.
Then the gang head to south Manderian Islands town National park where there are a couple of trees, a fountain in the middle of the park, a swing set near a sandbox, and some picnic tables, Ash, Makoto, Rei and Tomoko sat near a big tree telling her about all the adventures they had before Ash meets Tomoko.
"And then Ami and Ashy did a perfect combination with Ashy's Shiny Charizard using Seismic Toss and Ami's Shiny Blastoise using Hydro Pump and then whoosh, Magmar was unable to battle, resulting in Ashy and Ami beating Blaine." Rei said.
"Oh my god! That's so incredible! First the legendary birds then the strategies for defeating the Gym leaders and Elite four!" Tomoko gasped
"They sure did." Lorelei said. "To which I can give them and Ashy, my highest respect."
"Yeah, then we found out about the seven Magic Dragon Balls." Ash said as he took out the four star Dragon Ball that Pikachu found "If you gather all seven of these Magical Orange orbs, you can summon the Eternal Dragon who arises from his slumber in a fury of ageless to grant whoever summon him three wishes."
"Wow, that's amazing!" Tomoko smiled. "You guys have been on so many cool adventures, it makes me wish I could go on adventures like that!"
"We found out about the GS Ball and the Orange Leauge and got two badges." Usagi said
"I guess you got another person trying for the Orange League too." Tomoko said, before showing her two badges, making Ash and the gang both shocked and impressed.
"You got two badges too?!" Ash gasped "Tomoko, you are one lucky beautiful girl!"
"Pikachu!"
"Thanks Ash, but I didn't do it alone." Tomoko said, before grabbing three PokéBalls. "Come on out Phanpy, Torkoal and Mantyne!"
Tomoko tosses three PokéBalls and what materializes first is Phanpy. Phanpy is a small, horizon-blue proboscid Pokémon. It has large, floppy ears, which it uses as fans to cool itself. There are two red pads on each ear and another on the bridge of its short trunk. Phanpy has a single nail on each of its four feet, and a short tail.
This small trunk is sensitive, yet strong. It can send a person flying with an affectionate, playful bump of its snout. The trunk is also strong enough to shatter any arm bones it hits. Additionally, this little Pokémon is easily capable of carrying an adult human on its back. Phanpy is found in rocky terrain. To make its nest, it digs a vertical pit near the edge of a river. It displays ownership of this area by marking it with its trunk. In the deserted morning hours, Phanpy uses its trunk to shower in the river. Sometimes, groups of this Pokémon form and soak each other thoroughly. Afterwards, it can be seen drying its body near the edge of the river. The reason is Phanpy won't settle down until it is clean. And next there was Torkoal. Torkoal is a tortoise-like, quadrupedal Pokémon. It has a large, black, rock-like shell with holes that glow with a red warmth. Its skin is reddish-brown with gray-black bands on its legs and neck. It has a long neck and its eyes seem permanently closed.
Torkoal lives in mountains and volcanic areas, where it looks for large deposits of coal. It uses the coal to fill the hollow spaces in its shell and then burns it for energy. Because coal is Torkoal's source of energy, it becomes weak and immobile once it runs out of coal to burn. If the fire inside of Torkoal's shell goes out, it will die. A Torkoal is healthy if the smoke spouting from its shell has tremendous velocity. When it blows out smoke from its nostrils and the top of its back, it sounds like a locomotive horn. If it is attacked, it blows black smoke out of its nostrils before fleeing. Torkoal's shell also serves to shield it from critical blows. Prior to Generation V and in Generation IX, White Smoke is its signature Ability. And last but not least, there was Mantyne. Mantyke is a Pokémon that resembles a manta ray. It has a round body with wide, flat fins. Its back is dark-blue, while its underside is light blue. There are two red spots with white outlines and a light-blue, curved line on its back. These markings give the overall impression of a smiling face and vary slightly in each region. It has two long, curving antennae on top of its head and black eyes with eyelash-like markings underneath.
Despite its appearance, Mantyke is an effective swimmer. Its antennae are used to sense ocean currents. Mantyke is a friendly Pokémon that can be found approaching boats and swimming near the ocean's surface with schools of Remoraid. It often works together with Remoraid to repel attackers. Spending time with the Remoraid schools will eventually cause Mantyke to evolve into Mantine. Due to its friendly nature, Mantyke are very easy to tame. Mantyke are also super-popular in beach activities involving swimming tours. The Mantyke that live in Galar appear to move slower due to the cold waters of the region.
"Woah! Who are these Pokémon!" Ash gasped, and was about to reach for his Pokédex before he remember. "Oh right, even if I get it out it'll just say Pokémon unknown, no avalible data." Then he turned to his favorite bluenette. "Ami, do your Pokémon textbooks have any infomation about Tomoko's Pokémon?"
Ami got her Pokémon text book and found Johto First and found Phanpy and began to read "Phanpy is the Long Nose Pokémon This Pokémon lives and nests on a riverbank. After playing in the mud, it won't be able to settle down unless it washes its body. It is far stronger than it appears. If a Phanpy is swinging its trunk around and your arm gets hit by it, your arm bone will shatter."
"Hey Mamo, didn't you tell me that your Donphan evolved from a Phanpy?" Usagi asked.
Then Ami found Torkoal "Torkoal is the Coal Pokémon It burns coal inside its shell for energy. It blows out black soot if it is endangered Coal is the source of Torkoal's energy. Large amounts of coal can be found in the mountains where they live." Finally she found Mantyke "Mantyke is the Kite Pokémon, Mantyke living in Galar seem to be somewhat sluggish. The colder waters of the seas in this region may be the cause It swims along with a school of Remoraid, and they'll all fight together to repel attackers."
"Wow, I'd love to have a Torkoal one day." Ash said.
"Me too." Rei agreed
"You've got some amazing Pokémon Tomoko." Makoto said.
"Well, I also have a Chansey, a Tauros and even a Lilligant." Tomoko said. "They're currently being healed at the Pokémon Center."
"Tomoko, did you manage to get a Chansey, Tauros and Lilligant through trading or catching them?" Ash asked " Cause I got a Chansey and Tauros at Professor Oak's lab."
"Pika Pikachu."
"I got Chansey as my Starter Pokémon, I got Tauros that hatched out of the Pokémon Egg I got from winning a contest in Johto where you have to ride a skateboard through an extremely hard terrain, with your Pokémon pulling you and hold a Pokémon Egg." Tomoko said. "As for Lilligant, I was sent it from a performer in Unova that admired my writing."
"Wow! you must be very lucky." Ash said "I have a Pikachu, a Shiny Charizard, Bulbasaur, Blastoise, Lucario and a Dragonite."
"Wow, you've got a Pokémon from the Unova Region! You're so lucky Tomoko!" Makoto said. "I hope I get to catch a Lilligant one day."
"One day you will, Mako." Ash said as he held her hand and Chibiusa spoke to Tomoko
"Hey, Tomoko, one day we shall take you to a place called the Hundred Acre Wood." Usagi said "We were there before and met Ami's Bear called Winnie the Pooh."
"Oh that'll be so wonderful!" Tomoko smiled. "Even though I wish I could go to the Island of Sodor."
"What there to do on that Island? Out of curiosity." Ash said as Tomoko's Hand is on Ash's hand
"Well, the Island of Sodor is the place where Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends live and work." Tomoko said, looking away. "I've been inspired by the Reverent Wilbert Awdry, the man who wrote the Thomas and Friends Railway Series books for a long time. I'm sorry Ash, I guess a person of my should've grown out of a kiddy show like Thomas and Friends."
"Say, if you visit the Hundred Acre Wood, and meet Pooh and his pals, it will inspire you to write Return to the Hundred Acre Wood. And Tracey will do the illustrations." Hotaru smiled "It would make Ami happy."
"And I don't see why we can't visit the Island of Sodor." Ash said. "As long as the writer and creator of this fanfic allows it."
"Ashy, you broke the forth wall again!" Minako said.
"It's a force of habit." Ash said as Tomoko wants to tell Ash about love.
"Hey Ash, um when you first met Mako and her friends, were you able to tell that you could fall in love with Mako and the others?" Tomoko asked, as she hugged him.
"Yes. Tomoko, we became fast friends when I met them at pewter city and overtime, I fell in love with them and they fell in love with me." Ash nodded "Oh, Tomoko, your hugs are very warm."
"I'm so sorry for not letting go of you Ash, it's just I haven't seen a boy this cute since-" Tomoko then stopped herself as she then looked at her feet and her facial expression changed from cheerful to sad.
"Since when?" Ash asked, both concerned and worried the way Tomoko was looking.
"Since the last boy I had a crush on." Tomoko said sadly.
"Tomoko, I know this might be hard but could you tell me what happened between you and him?" Ash asked. "You can hug me more if you want."
"Okay, I think it's time I tell you the truth Mako." Tomoko sighed.
A couple of days ago, at a book sighting, she happened to see her old high school crush, but much to her horror and shock, he had hooked up with another girl, and since then, her heart was in shambles along with her motivation to write. However, from her perspective, everyone else seemed to care only for her writing while she suffered in silence.
"No matter what I write, nobody seems to care how I feel," Tomoko wept.
After hearing the story the gang and especially Ash couldn't help but feel bad and he held her hand.
"And ever since that day, I've been pretty heartbroken and I lost my inspiration for writing stories!" Tomoko cried, into Ash's shoulder. "But thanks to some encouraging words from Mako and Chibiusa and seeing a Pegasus for real, I was able to find my inspiration again!"
"So that's why you were so depressed." Makoto gasped. "You lost the boy you had a crush on."
Suddenly Ash broke silence and he hugs Tomoko then Pikachu snuggled up on her and she hugs back
"I'm so, so sorry for what you had to go through Tomoko!" Ash cried, as he hugged the greenette with glasses more. "It's a very similar thing to what Mako had to go through with her first crush!"
"Pika, Pikachu."
"Ashy, I think you should let Tomoko join your harem." Makoto whispered to her boyfriend
"I don't know if I'm ready to find another boyfriend yet." Tomoko said. "I just don't know. I really don't know."
"Come on, Tomoko, Ashy treats his girls with love, care and gratitude. He is like the glue the keeps us all together." Makoto said "Trust me, You'll be really happy and he loves your stories and he'll love you for you."
"I just can't Mako, I really can't!" Tomoko said. "I don't want to be heartbroken and lose my inspiration for writing again! Anyway my Chansey, Tauros and Lilligant are probably fully healed by now, so I gotta go, hope to see you later Mako." And with that Tomoko quickly left.
"But, Tomoko-" Ash cried, but Makoto placed her hand on his shoulder.
"Let her go Ashy." Makoto said. "She'll come around, she's just needs some time."
"Poor girl." Ash sighed. "She's got such a precious dream to be a writer and she feels that if she tries to find a boyfriend she'll be heartbroken and lose her inspiration again. I wish there was something I could do."
"I'm sure we can do something." Rei said as she hugs him from behind then she senses an Evil aura
"HELP MAKO!" A voice screamed.
"TOMOKO!" Makoto shouted, before bolting off as fast as she could.
"Wait for us Mako!" Ash called, as he and the others followed her.
Back at the book store, Jessie, James, Meowth and a Cardian were stealing books and energy from all the people and the number of authors that were there at the time. And their Pokémon.
"Steal them all! Steal them all! Steal them all and sell them all!" Jessie and James said. "We're gonna be rich for selling all these great books! we've got so much energy! Keep it up Minator!"
"Get that girl's energy next!" Meowth said, pointing at Tomoko. "And the Pokémon!"
"Stay away from me!" Tomoko cried.
Then Jessie's Arbok Arbok wraps its body around Tomoko with her Coils and she is trapped as she struggles to get free, then Ail and Ann show up and Ann took her hand and places it on the top of her head then she is terrified.
"Well this author will be perfect." Ann said. "Ail, bring out another Cardian to suck her energy dry."
"Very well Ann." Ail said, picking a card and summoned another Cardian.
Nearby, Ash, Makoto and Rei ran up ahead and hid under the bushes, and they saw that Team Rocket has captured the townsfolk's Pokémon and stealing energy from people and books and is about to suck Tomoko's energy dry.
"There they are! Damn! They got Tomoko wrapped in Arbok's coils!" Ash cursed
"Like hell they'll get away with this!" Makoto grunted
"Let's Transform!" Rei said
Then Makoto and Rei held up their transformation wands and they called out their phrases, in order to help Ash.
"Jupiter Planet Power!"
"Mars Planet Power!"
"Make up!"
Transformation Sequence: Makoto
The planet Jupiter appears, and Makoto puts her hand up, her fingernails begin to sparkle in bright green, and her transformation wand comes to her hand spinning, now having a different design. Her body now becomes silhouetted in green, as blue lightning erupted from her wand, while holding it up. As she spins around a few times, until stopping with her back turned, the lightning swirls around her, forming rings like an atom. The lightning explodes, revealing Makoto in her green Sailor Uniform wearing green boots, a pair of rose earrings, a pink bow and ribbon, gloves with green trims, and a green skirt, choker, and collar. Makoto then turns around, and in the middle of her forehead, her symbol appears, and her tiara materializes. Her transformation now complete; she assumes her final pose, her symbol and planet appearing in the background against a starry sky.
Transformation Sequence: Rei
The planet Mars appears, and Rei puts her hand up, her fingernails begin to sparkle in bright red, and her transformation wand comes to her hand spinning, now having a different design, as she takes hold of it. Her body becomes silhouetted in red as a giant pillar of fire erupts from her wand. While spinning around, the fire swirled around her body, concealing her in a cocoon and burst revealing several tongues of flame surrounding Rei's body. The flames disperse, revealing Rei in her red Sailor Uniform wearing red heels, a pair of earrings, a purple bow in front, a red ribbon in the back, gloves with red trims, and a red skirt, choker, and collar. Rei then turns around, and in the middle of her forehead, her symbol appears, and her tiara materializes. Her transformation now complete; she assumes her final pose, her symbol and planet appearing in the background against a starry sky.
Back at the book store the Cardian that Ail summoned was about to drain Tomoko of her energy.
"MAKO!" Tomoko screamed in fear.
"Scream all you want! We're still gonna get your Pokémon and now hold still!" Meowth said as Tomoko's Pokemon are trapped in the net
"JUPITER COCONUT CYCLONE!"
"MARS SNAKE FIRE!"
"AURA SPHERE!"
"Pika…. CHU!!!!"
"Rai….CHUU!!"
Several powerful shots went straight at Ail and Jessie who was so startled that he ducked out of the way just as the blast missed him by a hair but a bit of her hair got cut.
"What the?!" Ann asked in shock. "Who did that!"
"Somebody's gonna pay for ruining my hair!!" Jessie growled
"No, you're gonna pay for trying to hurt Tomoko!" A voice shouted.
"Uh oh, we know who that is!" Meowth whimpered.
"That voice…" Tomoko said weakly
Then Jessie, James, Meowth, Ail and Ann saw in the distance and they saw Ash, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Mars, Ash's and Rei's Pikachu's and Makoto's Raichu standing on top of a building, just like Batman.
"It's the Sailor Guardians." Tomoko gasped weakly. "And Ash…."
"How dare you pose as an editor to prey on a young author's Pokémon and Energy!" scolded Sallot Jupiter "If you want to steal from her, you'll have to get by us first!"
"You filthy scoundrals!" Ash shouted. "How dare you break into a book store and steal all the books the writers poured their minds, hearts and creativity into publishing great books for everyone to enjoy! And another thing, threatening a girl who is just a precious as the stories she writes is very unforgivable! And for that I'll never forgive you!
"I am the Pretty Guardian who fights for love and for courage! I am Sailor Jupiter!"
"I am the Pretty Guardian who fights for love and for passion! I am Sailor Mars!"
"Protected by the Sun and the Earth, the Planets of hope and peace! I am Ash Ketchum! And now in the name of Sailor Moon, we'll punish you!"
"You won't stop us this time!" Ail said. "Mintoaran, you handle the Sailor Guardians! Ann, James, Meowth, make sure the books we've stolen are in check, Jessie, you and Arbok are with me and Vampir!"
"Right Ail!" Jessie said. "Arbok, keep your coils wrapped around the girl and follow Ail!"
"Arbok!"
Ail, Jessie and Vampir then rushed to the back door to the roof of the building. Tomoko was still wrapped in Arbok's coils.
"MAKO! ASH! Help me!" Tomoko cried.
"Come on, girls!" Ash said "We gotta save Tomoko!"
"You're not going anywhere!" Ann shouted. "Minatoran get them!"
"Ashy, go save Tomoko, Mars and I can handle this!" Sailor Jupiter shouted.
"Right!" Ash said as he and Pikachu chases Ail, Jessie and Vampir up to the roof while Sailor Mars wiped out a few ofudas
She also concentrated using her powers as a priestess and as a Guardian. "Rin, Pyō, Tō, Sha, Kai, Jin, Retsu, Zai, Zen!" She then placed 6 ofudas on the enemies to be stunned "Evil Spirit, be exorcized!"
"NOT AGAIN!" James and Meowth cried, before getting struck by the ofudas.
"Why you two will pay for that!" Ann growled. "Crawdaunt go!"
"Raichu, use Thunder!" Sailor Jupiter called
"Crawdoaunt Protect!" Ann commanded.
"Rai… CHU!!"
Then Sailor Jupiter's Raichu's body becomes surrounded by electricity and she fires a massive yellow beam of electricity at Crawdoaunt but his body becomes outlined in blue energy and it can stop attacks.
"Hah, now let's see how you like this one." Ann bragged. "Crawdaunt use Stone Edge!"
"Did she say Stone Edge!" Sailors Mars and Jupiter gasped
Crawdaunt then slams its claws on the ground, causing glowing light blue pillars of rock to appear and rush towards its opponent. Raichu and Pikachu were both hit and since Stone Edge is a powerful attack, Pikachu and Raichu couldn't withstand it
"Pikachu!" Sailor Mars gasped.
"Raichu!" Sailor Jupiter gasped.
"Rai…"
"Pika…."
"Now go Minatauran, finish them off!" Ann commanded.
"Minatuaran!"
Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Mars were livid with rage, both of them have cupped their hands and their energies are concentrated into a single point and to form a blue very bright light in their cupped hands it was so bright it blinded Minatuaran
"What trickery is this?" Ann asked.
"This is no trick, you evil alien from space!" Sailor Mars roared.
"This is the power of Aura!" Sailor Jupiter yelled. "And here's something we'd like to give your Cardian!"
"AURA….. BEAM!!!!!!" they roared as Theit hands are then thrust forward to shoot out a streaming, powerful beam of energy at the cardian and then killing it in the process
"Minatauran!"
"Grr, James and Meowth! Get those ofudas off you and retreat!" Ann ordered.
Back with Ash and Pikachu they finally caught up with Jessie, Ail and Arbok on the roof of the building and Tomoko and her Pokémon are trapped still and saw that Jupiter and Mars stopped James, Meowth and Ann as they freed their Pokémon and got their energies back.
"Tomoko!" Ash cried.
"Stop right there boy!" Ail shouted. "One more step and Jessie will have her Arbok squeeze the girl to death or Vampir will drain all her energy which ever comes first."
"Damn it! You're just trying to play dirty!" Ash growled "Leave Tomoko alone! She doesn't deserve to suffer!"
"Oh but with this creator's energy, she'll be a great energy giver for our Makai Tree." Ail said. "Vampir! Start draining her of her energy, and don't even think of trying to stop us!"
"Vampir!"
"AH!" Tomoko screamed. "My energy! It's taking all my energy!"
"Pikachu, Iron Tail!" Ash called
"Chu! Pikachu!"
"Oh no you don't!" Ail shouted. "Dosclups use Fire Punch!"
He dodges it and Ash's Pikachu's tail glows white and turns into iron and it hits the opponent with it. Sometimes, it leaves behind a white trail of energy where it swings cutting Vampir in half and harming Arbok and Doaclups and freeing Tomoko, Ash quickly rushes to catch her and ran back with Tomoko in his arms.
"Tomoko! Tomoko!" Ash called. "Are you okay!?"
"He sliced Vampire in half!" Ail gasped in horror and even nearly Dosclups and Arbok in half!"
"You'll pay for that twerp!" Jessie said. "But next time, Ail I think we should get out of here!"
"And runaway from a fight?" Ail shouted. "Not a chance!"
"Ail sir, I just heard from Ann that Jupiter and Mars have defeated Minatauran, we have to go now while the getting's good!" Jessie said. "They'll be other oppotunities!"
Then Ail and Jessie recalled their harmed Pokémon and after Sailors Jupiter and Mars freed the townsfolk's Pokémon they rushed up to the roof to find Ash holding Tomoko in his arms as her energy slowly comes back and Jupiter frees Tomoko's Pokémon but Sailor Mars stomped that Jessie and Ail got away.
"Ash, are you, Pikachu and Tomoko ok?" Sailor Jupiter asked
"Damn it! They got away!" Sailor Mars cursed
"Nevermind about that Mars!" Ash said. "We've gotta get Tomoko to the Pokémon Center fast!"
"Ashy! Sorry we're late!" Sailor Moon cried. "We were stuck at some traffic lights."
"Traffic Lights they need to get those fixed." Ash replied "Come on let's get to the Pokémon Center, Quick!"
"Right Ashy!" Sailor Mercury said.
"Aw! We missed all the action!" Sailor Venus moaned
"Now's not the time to complain Sailor Venus!" Sailor Jupiter shouted
After stopping Team Rocket and preventing the Makai Tree Cardian from ruining her novel our heroes rushed Tomoko to the Pokémon Center, Inside, Tomoko opened her eyes slowly Regained consciousness in bed and saw Ash and the Sailor Guardians with Ash's Pikachu concerned for her and then relieved that she is ok. She places her hand on her head and put her glasses back on.
"Ash?" Tomoko asked. "Is that you?"
"Yes, I'm glad you're ok, Tomoko. We saved your Pokémon." Ash said as he places his hands on her hands as the other girls transform back to their regular selves in front of Tomoko
"Wha, Mako! You're a Sailor Guardian?" Tomoko asked in shock.
"Yes, I believe we got some explaining to do and Ash and his Pikachu, got rid of Team Rocket." Makoto replied "Also Ashy was the one that came to help you."
"Ash, you, you really came to save me?" Tomoko asked.
"Yes, cause I can't ignore others in need." ash replied
Nurse Joy then entered the room.
"Tomoko, will be just fine, she just needs to rest for a couple of days and she'll be good to go." Nurse Joy said.
"Thank you for Informing us Nurse Joy." Ami replied since her mother is a doctor
"I guess while you're resting Tomoko, we can tell you the whole story." Makoto said.
"Fire away, Girls." Ash said as he allowed the girls to explain starting with Ami
"Pi Pi Pikachu."
"Hey Ashy." Duplica said, holding his hand. "Me, Jeanette, Unazuki and May were wondering, do you think while we're here on Manderian Island could we go out on a date please?"
"Pretty please?" Jeanette, Unazuki and May asked, with the pleading eyes. "We still haven't had a chance to go on a date with you!"
"Yes, I would love to go on a date with all three of you." Ash smiled
"Yay!" Duplica, Jeanette, Unazuki and May beamed, before throwing their arms around Ash.
After the girls all explained the whole story to Tomoko from the Moon Kingdom to Ash being Prince Satoshi the prince of the Golden Sun and Silver Moon and Queen Serenity then the fatal war against Queen Beryl to the near death experience with Mewtwo with Prince Satoshi defeating Shadow Mewtwo with a giant Aura Sphere and being reincarnated, she became intrigued, very surprised and inspired for a story of a lifetime.
"Oh my god, I can't believe it!" Tomoko gasped. "Ash and you girls were all reincarnated? That's amazing!"
"That's right, from the Moon Kingdom in the Silver Millennium to Ash being Prince Satoshi the prince of the Golden Sun and Silver Moon and Queen Serenity then the fatal war against Queen Beryl to the near death experience with Mewtwo with Prince Satoshi defeating Shadow Mewtwo with a giant Aura Sphere and being reincarnated." Minako winked
"Mako, why didn't you tell me this before?" Tomoko asked.
"Because if we tell you, you wouldn't believe me." Makoto admitted and Tomoko and she smiled and got the confidence to find a boy of her dreams
"Mako, you're my friend and I'd believe anything you tell me!" Tomoko said. "But I think I'm ready to try and find a boy of my dreams!"
Then Tomoko turned to Ash as he is still being embraced by Jeanette, Unazuki and May, as she places her hand on his hands and he saw her beautiful eyes.
"Ash, I know this is very sudden and we just met but I was too scared to find another boy because of my past crush breaking my heart, but you, you're completely different than any guy I've met!" Tomoko said, while blushing. "Can I pretty please join your harem and you on your quest?"
"Tomoko, I love you so much, welcome to my harem and you can join my quest." Ash accepted
"Oh thank you Ashy!" Tomoko beamed, before throwing her arms around Ash and locking lips with him.
Ash and Tomoko make out lovingly, and then they french kissed and he places his hand on her waist and they continue to make out as she loves every kiss he gives her, she released her lips from Ash's and places her head on his chest.
"Looks like Ashy's caught another girlfriend!" Lorelei smirked.
"Now that Tomoko's in the group, we should let her meet Oak later." Makoto said "But we should give her a couple of days."
And so Tomoko annouced that she's taking a break from writing and leaving on a journey to focus on her new story, 'The Legend of Ash the Brave and Kind Young Man' Ash accepts her for her. Makoto is so happy to not only catch up with her old friend, but now that Tomoko's found true love and is in the harem. Then Jeanette, May and Unazuki ask Ash out on a date. How will the date play out? Find out as the journey continues!
